The Church of God receiving the Power of God by faith

Good morning, kind friends and brethren present, and those who are in different nations, ministers and their congregations; and Missionary Miguel Bermúdez Marín there in Chile, where he is on this occasion. Greetings, also, to the congregation there in Chile, where Missionary Dr. Miguel Bermúdez Marín is.

For this occasion, let’s read in the book of Acts chapter 1… verse 4 and on, says, of the book of Acts… chapter 1, verse 4 and on, says:

And, being assembled together with them, commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, which, saith he, ye have heard of me.

For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence.

When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel?

And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power.

But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight.

And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel;

Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.

Then returned they unto Jerusalem from the mount called Olivet, which is from Jerusalem a sabbath day’s journey.

And when they were come in, they went up into an upper room, where abode both Peter, and James, and John, and Andrew, Philip, and Thomas, Bartholomew, and Matthew, James the son of Alphaeus, and Simon Zelotes, and Judas the brother of James.

These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication, with the women, and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brethren.”

And in chapter 2 of the book of Acts, verse 1 and on, it says:

And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.

And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.

And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.

And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.”

And Saint Luke chapter 24, verse 40 and on, says [verse 46]:

…And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behooved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day:

And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.

And ye are witnesses of these things.

And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high.”

May God bless our souls with His Word and allow us to understand It.

Our subject for the Bible school today, Sunday, is: “THE CHURCH OF GOD RECEIVING GOD’S POWER BY FAITH.” That is the subject today, Sunday, Bible school day for us.

The Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, which was born in Jerusalem on the Day of Pentecost, made up of the believers in Christ of that time, is the people of the New Covenant, which Christ spoke of in Saint Matthew chapter 26, when He says… Chapter 26, verse 26 and on, of Saint Matthew (this was Jesus’ last supper with His disciples, before dying):

And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed it, and brake it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this is my body.

And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it;

For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.

But I say unto you, I will not drink henceforth of this fruit of the vine, until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father’s kingdom.”

In this passage, Christ speaks about the New Testament or Covenant, which Ezekiel spoke about in chapter 34 and chapter 37, where it says that God would make a New Covenant with His people.

And now, in this New Covenant, it is the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, made up of the believers in Christ, who have come into the New Covenant, which was reflected in the Old Testament or Old Covenant; and therefore, the Hebrew people under the Dispensation of Law, as a type and figure, is representing the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, which would be born within the New Covenant that is promised in the Scripture.

And now, the people of the Old Covenant are the Hebrew people and the people of the New Covenant are the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ. As simple as that.

And now, “Christ our Passover,” (Saint Paul says), “is sacrificed for us.”1 And now, we find the New Covenant manifested in the believers in Christ of His time, and throughout all the time of Christianity to this day.

The Church of God of the New Covenant, made up of the believers in Christ, was born on the Day of Pentecost in the upper room, where She received the Spirit of God and therefore, received power from on high; which was promised by Christ to be received by all the believers in Him, who would be in Jerusalem waiting for the Coming of the Holy Spirit, and therefore, of the Divine power.

The Church of the Lord Jesus Christ is the One that has been under the Covenant that is in effect since the Day of Pentecost until now, meaning, in the New Covenant. Therefore, God has been dealing with the people of the New Covenant, which is the Family of God, the believers in Christ who form the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ since the Day of Pentecost until now.

The Church of the Lord Jesus Christ also has the promise that every believer in Christ of the different stages of His Church will be transformed, all those born into the Kingdom of Christ, born into the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, which is the second Eve, and Christ is the second Adam.

Therefore, they are bringing to Eternal Life all those who are written in Heaven, in the Lamb’s Book of Life, which are God’s sons and daughters who would be born into the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ; always remembering that Christ said: “Unless the Corn of Wheat falls into the ground and dies, It abides alone; but if It falls into the ground and dies, It brings forth much fruit.”2

Christ is the Corn of Wheat, the Church is the Wheat Plant, and the sons and daughters of God, the other wheat grains, are the believers in Christ born in the Wheat Plant, in the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ. As simple as that.

At the Last Day we have the promise of that transformation, of the resurrection of the dead in Christ, according to First Thessalonians chapter 4, verse 12 and on, and also chapter 5, verse 1 to 11; and First Corinthians chapter 15, verses 49 to 58; where and for which the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ will be hearing the Last Trumpet or Great Voice of Trumpet, which will bring Her the Divine revelation with which She will be given the faith, the revelation, to be transformed and taken with Christ to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb, in Heaven.

In order to go to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb, everyone must be in the Mystical Body of Christ in the stage in which they were given to live on this Earth.

And now, those who will be alive at this end time when the resurrection of the dead in Christ takes place in the Second Coming of Christ coming to His Church, and the dead in Christ are resurrected in eternal, immortal, glorified, and young bodies for all eternity; when we see them, we who are alive will be transformed; and then we will all be just like Christ in power, youth, and in every aspect, being joint-heirs with Christ to everything that Christ is an heir to. That is why it says: “We are heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ Jesus our Lord.” (Romans chapter 8, verse 14 and on.)

That will be the redemption of the body, the physical adoption as sons and daughters of God into the Kingdom of God, the Kingdom of Christ; because of which and for which there will be a manifestation of God’s power in all His fullness at this end time. As it happened on the Day of Pentecost when they received the Holy Spirit, and therefore received power from on high.

In the book of Psalms, it says that God would give strength or power to His people;3 and power comes through the Spirit of God, the Holy Spirit, to be manifested in the people who are living inside the Covenant that is in effect at the end time. The fullness of God will come for all the believers in Christ, to give us the faith to be transformed and taken with Christ to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb.

And once we are already transformed with eternal, immortal, glorified, and young bodies, the fullness of God’s power will be in each of the believers in Christ; in other words, just like Jesus Christ our Savior.

That is the greatest event that will have ever take place in the Mystical Body of Christ, because the believers in Christ of past ages and from our time will have the double portion: the Holy Spirit bringing forth the new birth and then the transformation of our bodies, the physical adoption of each of the believers in Christ in the Mystical Body of Christ, our Savior.

And then death will disappear for the believers in Christ, illnesses too; because in the new body, which is eternal, there won’t be inherited problems, the types of problems that Adam and Eve had in the Garden of Eden.

We will all return to physical Eternal Life. Our names are written in Heaven, in the Lamb’s Book of Life; for that reason, the Sacrifice of Christ and His shed Blood cleanse us from all sin and put us at peace with God in the Mystical Body of Christ.

This entire Program began there in the land of Israel, with the ministry of Christ for three and a half years; and then, with the death of Christ on Calvary’s Cross, His burial and resurrection, and Christ’s departure to Heaven, Christ going to Heaven, appearing to them for forty days; and then, the last ten days, the disciples were in the upper room waiting for the Coming of the Holy Spirit and of the power of God.

That entire time of Christ appearing to His disciples after resurrecting, is a type and figure for this end time. And the disciples in the upper room are a type and figure of the believers in Christ in the Upper Room of the Age of the Cornerstone, waiting for the Coming of Christ to manifest His power in all His fullness in the midst of His Church, and to manifest Himself through His Church in all His fullness.

The Church of the Lord Jesus Christ is the One that is waiting for the Second Coming of Christ, which is a mystery. Reverend William Branham says: “When will He come and how will He come? No one knows. And it’s a good thing that no one knows.”4 Why? So that there aren’t imitations regarding how and when and what the Coming of the Lord to His Church will be.

That is the mystery of the Seventh Seal of Revelation chapter 8, and therefore, the mystery of Revelation chapter 10, verse 1 to 11. The Coming of the Mighty Angel with the little Book opened in His hand, crying as when a lion roars and seven thunders uttering their voices; that is the Voice of Christ in His Coming to His Church. And He comes with the little Book open in His hand, the Book of Life, the Seven-Sealed Book; and He brings It open, which was closed in the right hand of God in chapter 5 of Revelation; and It was taken by the Lamb, Christ, and was opened in Heaven and brought to Earth; and upon being brought to Earth, It is given to a man for him to eat It. And then that person, that prophet is told: “You must prophesy again before many peoples, nations, and tongues.”

And then, upon turning to chapter 11 of Revelation, the ministries of Elijah and the ministry of Moses then appear there, which are the ministries of the Two Olive Trees, who have the order to prophesy before many peoples, nations, and tongues; and everything they speak will be fulfilled the way it is spoken. In other words, the Two Olive Trees will receive the fullness of God’s power at the Last Day.

And all of that pertains to the Age of the Cornerstone, because in the most holy place of the temple that Solomon built and of the tabernacle that Moses built, that is where the two olive trees were, the two cherubims of gold on the mercy seat, which is the cover of the ark of the covenant.5 And also in the temple that Solomon built, on each side, near to the ark of the covenant, in the most holy place, there were two giant cherubims of olive wood overlaid with gold.6

Gold represents Divinity and wood represents humanity; because the ministries of the Two Olive Trees are the ministries of Moses and Elijah being repeated at the Last Day; and it is in the Upper Room of the Age of the Cornerstone.

Just as there was an upper room back then, there is an Upper Room in the Mystical Body of Christ, which all the believers of the Last Day go up to and wait for the fullness of God, they wait for the physical transformation that is promised in the Scripture: the transformation of our bodies, from First Corinthians chapter 15, verses 49 to 58; and First Thessalonians chapter 4, verse 12 and on.

And also Philippians chapter 3, verses 20 to 21, where it tells us that “our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.”

With that power that Christ has, to whom all things are subdued… because He is sitting on the Throne of God, and the one who has the power and the one who rules is the one that is sitting on the throne.

Therefore, at this end time there is a great blessing for the believers in Christ, where they will receive the fullness of God’s power, and therefore, they will receive the adoption as sons and daughters of God: Upon being physically transformed, they will receive the physical adoption. The spiritual adoption is to receive the Holy Spirit, which has been received since the Day of Pentecost: by all the believers who have received Christ as their Savior and have been baptized in water in His Name, and Christ has baptized them with the Holy Spirit and Fire, and has brought forth the new birth in them, they have been born into the Kingdom of God, into the Kingdom of Christ, which is His Church, the people of the New Covenant. As simple as that.

And now, we have seen that the Church of God are the believers in Christ who form the Church from the Day of Pentecost until now. The Church: the ones taken out of the world and put in the Kingdom of Christ our Savior.

Angels of God, ministering spirits, are sent to the Church to bring the revelation of God and watch over the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ; heavenly hosts, by major Archangels with powerful armies, watch over the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ.

And at the Last Day, that heavenly manifestation will be seen more clearly in the midst of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ; and especially in the fulfillment of the Vision of the Great Tent Cathedral that was shown to Reverend William Branham, where there was the Presence of the Angel who appeared to Moses in a bush, and said to him: “I am the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.”7

That Angel has been accompanying the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, because that Angel is Christ in His heavenly body, Christ in that Pillar of Fire who delivered the Hebrew people through the prophet Moses and led them through the wilderness for forty years, and then brought them into the promised land and established them there as a nation.

We also see the forty years, and we see the forty days of Christ appearing to His disciples before receiving the promised land of the coming of the Holy Spirit to them. And there will come a time represented in the forty days, and then a time represented in the fiftieth day, as was the Day of Pentecost (the fiftieth day), that was when they received the Holy Spirit. Christ knew when they were going to receive It.

And in the Year of Jubilee—which is the Fiftieth Year—will be when the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ will receive the fullness of the Spirit of God, the fullness of God, and therefore, will receive God’s power in all His fullness manifested in Her.

We are already at the time for these promises to soon be fulfilled and for Christ to come to the stage of the Age of the Cornerstone in all His fullness.

The ministry of Christ two thousand years ago was in the Age of the Cornerstone, which pertains to the most holy place of the temple that Moses built and the temple that King Solomon built; and the temple is built from East to West. In the East is the outer court, and in the West is the most holy place of the temple that Solomon built and of the temple that the prophet Moses built.

That is also how it is in the spiritual Temple of Christ, the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ. It began in the East, in the land of Israel, in the East; and that construction has been carried out with living stones, people who have received Christ as their only and sufficient Savior.

It began in the East (the land of Israel), It went to Asia Minor under the ministry of Saint Paul; then It went to Europe with five messengers for five stages or ages of the Church; and then for the seventh stage, It went to North America, It went to the Western continent, the continent of the Americas, which consists of North America, Central America, and South America.

In the seventh stage we find Him manifested in His Church through the messenger of that seventh Church – or that seventh stage: Reverend William Branham. God was there in the Pillar of Fire, manifesting Himself in the midst of His Church and carrying out the Work relevant to that time, just as it was with every messenger in every stage of the Church.

And after that seventh age, which pertains to North America, the question that many people who know the Message of Reverend William Branham ask themselves is: “And where has the Holy Spirit, Christ in Holy Spirit, gone after being in Reverend William Branham in the seventh age and in the gap between the seventh age and the Age of the Cornerstone?” All the believers in Christ who will be in the Age of the Cornerstone will know where Christ in Holy Spirit, the Angel of the Covenant, has gone to manifest Himself at the end time.

We still have the Caribbean, Central America, and South America left. Those are the Western territories, of the West; and from there, afterwards, from there God’s blessings will come forth for the Church, the Word to give us the faith, the revelation, to be transformed and taken with Christ to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb.

Therefore, the Vision of the Great Tent Cathedral that was shown to Reverend William Branham, is relevant to the West, to the part where Christ will be manifesting Himself at the end time to give us the faith to be transformed and taken with Christ to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb.

And it must be in some part of the continent of the Americas, in some Western part (or the West, as the Bible says). “For the Son of Man shall come in the glory of His Father with His Angels, and then He shall reward every man according to his works.” That is Saint Matthew, chapter *16.

And in chapter 24, verse 27, it tells us that the Coming of the Son of Man will be as the lightning that comes out of the East and shines even unto the West. In other words, the West, the continent of the Americas, has two blessings: the blessing of the northern part of the continent of the Americas with the seventh age and the messenger of the seventh age: Reverend William Branham; and then the other part of the continent of the Americas has the greatest blessing: the blessing of the Age of the Cornerstone, which is the Age of the Most Holy Place in the spiritual Temple of Christ our Savior.

Remember that the Church is the spiritual Temple of God under the New Covenant, which at the end time will receive power from on high, God’s fullness, as it is promised for this end time.

It is a great blessing and privilege to be living in the end time, and especially to be living in the Mystical Body of Christ, in the Age of the Cornerstone. It is an age parallel to the age of the First Coming of Christ, where the Cornerstone came; therefore, that time period is the Age of the Cornerstone, because the Cornerstone was there; and our age is the Age of the Cornerstone, parallel to that time, and parallel to the time of Noah and to the time of Lot as well.8

Therefore, it is a great blessing, which we have been given at this end time.

Remember that the most important part of the Temple is the Most Holy Place, it’s the place for God to dwell, for God to sit on His Throne; and it’s the place where the Pillar of Fire was in the tabernacle that Moses built and the temple that King Solomon built.

And that is why at the end time the Pillar of Fire will come to the Most Holy Place of the spiritual Temple of Christ, and fill the believers of Christ of this end time with all His fullness. What is promised is a great blessing.

Remember that since every temple (the one that Moses built and the one that King Solomon built) was built out of stones (the one that King Solomon built);9 and the one that Moses built: out of badger skins, covered with badger skins…10 which speaks of the human beings that would form the spiritual Temple of Christ, the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ.

And now, “THE CHURCH OF GOD RECEIVING GOD’S POWER BY FAITH,” at the Last Day will be like when the Holy Spirit, the Pillar of Fire, the Cloud, came and rested upon the tabernacle that Moses built, and went into the most holy place, and placed Itself on the mercy seat, between the two cherubims of gold;11 because that is the Throne of God in the Temple, the Seat of God.

And in the temple that Solomon built, God came in the Cloud, He entered into the temple and placed Himself on the mercy seat, between the two cherubims of gold, and also the two cherubims of olive wood overlaid with gold.12

And at this end time the Lord will be coming to His Temple, because the Lord will come to His Temple and place Himself in the Most Holy Place; and the Two Olive Trees will be there.

Everything related to the most holy place of the tabernacle that Moses built and the temple that King Solomon built, all of that is a type and figure of what there will be in the Most Holy Place of the spiritual Temple of Christ (that Most Holy Place which is the Age of the Cornerstone) for the Coming of the Lord. That is why the Second Coming of Christ, as Christianity expects It, is to and for the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, in the Age of the Most Holy Place at the Last Day.

Why couldn’t the Second Coming of Christ, the resurrection of the dead in Christ in glorified bodies, and the transformation of the living, and the rapture to go to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb, be fulfilled in other ages? Because they were not living in the stage of the Most Holy Place of the spiritual Temple of Christ.

Remember that the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ is a spiritual Temple. Saint Paul says: “Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?13

And now, we have seen where Christ will go in His Coming at the Last Day: it will be to His Church, to the Age of the Cornerstone, to bring by faith – to receive by faith, God’s power in all His fullness.

There will be a full manifestation of God’s power that will not only impact the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, not only Christianity, but the whole world. That manifestation is also known as the Third Pull, which will be manifested in a Great Tent Cathedral.

Therefore, the Great Tent Cathedral will appear in the relevant place, where the Pillar of Fire will come, will be manifested; and there will be a full manifestation of God’s power, which will impact the whole world. And there will be great blessings for the believers in Christ and then for the Hebrew people.

The Hebrew people will receive blessings. And when they see Christ manifested in the midst of His Church, they will say: “This is the One we are waiting for.” And they will be surprised and ask themselves: “But why is the Angel of the Covenant, whom we are waiting for, clothed in human flesh, with believers in Christ?” Because the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ is the One that is in the New Covenant, and thus will have God’s power in all His fullness.

We are seeing the signs of the end time, we can’t deny them. And we are also a sign to the people, to the world, and to ourselves. We couldn’t have appeared hundreds of years ago, because in the Lamb’s Book of Life we are in the right order to be manifested in human flesh at this end time. That is how God wanted it, and that is why at this end time we are receiving the Word, receiving the revealed Word, and preparing ourselves for that full manifestation of God in the midst of His Church, which will impact all of mankind.

Today in our Bible School we have seen our subject: “THE CHURCH OF GOD RECEIVING GOD’S POWER BY FAITH.”

We are living in expectation of the fullness of God in the midst of His Church, which is promised and which will be fulfilled just as it has been promised. And we have been given the best part: “The lines have fallen unto us in pleasant places, and we have a great heritage.”14

Therefore, we thank God for this great blessing of being in the stage, in the Age of the Cornerstone, which is the age that will receive all the blessings of Christ, of God, for this end time.

May everyone continue having a happy afternoon, filled with the blessings of Christ our Savior. And we will see each other, when? On Friday, God willing, and Sunday, God willing.

May God bless you and keep you, and may God go with you all. And enjoy your spiritual and physical meal as well.

THE CHURCH OF GOD RECEIVING GOD’S POWER BY FAITH.”
