Believe His prophets, so shall ye prosper

Good evening, dear friends, and brothers and sisters present here in Palmira, Colombia.

It is a great blessing for me to be with you all on this occasion to share with you moments of fellowship around the Word of God and His Program pertaining to this end time.

For which we read in Second Chronicles, chapter 20, verse 20, wherein a king of Israel spoke important words, a political king speaking important words for his people. Chapter 20, verse 20 of Chronicles, says:

“And they rose up early in the morning, and went forth into the wilderness of Tekoa: and as they went forth, Jehoshaphat stood and said, Hear me, O Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem; Believe in the Lord your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.”

May God bless our soul with His Word and permit us to understand It.

Here in this Scripture we have read, we find this king of Judah had a great knowledge of what safety would be for the human being, and for his people Israel.

The secret for the safety of Israel was to believe in God and to do according to how God had established for His people, because Israel belongs to a Kingdom, to the Kingdom of God; and it is as a country or a state belonging to a nation: they have to do according to the laws of that nation, of that kingdom.

For instance, all the countries belonging to England or Spain at other times, or at this time, they have to do things according to the laws of that nation, as also the states have to do according to the laws of that nation.

And God chose Israel as His people; that’s why we find in the book of Exodus, words that maybe cannot be understood by the human mind, but are of great importance before God.

There was an occasion in which Moses was traveling with the Hebrew people and met some enemies that attacked him, and God defended Israel. That was the time in which Amalek came to fight with the Hebrew people. Chapter 17, verse 8 of Exodus, says:

“Then came Amalek, and fought with Israel in Rephidim.

And Moses said unto Joshua, Choose us out men, and go out, fight with Amalek: tomorrow I will stand on the top of the hill with the rod of God in mine hand.”

Notice what Moses is to do with the rod in his hand, in other words, he will have contact with another dimension and will receive help.

“So Joshua did as Moses had said to him, and fought with Amalek: and Moses, Aaron, and Hur went up to the top of the hill.

And it came to pass, when Moses held up his hand, that Israel prevailed: and when he let down his hand, Amalek prevailed.”

Notice how a simple thing: When Moses held up his hand with the rod: Israel prevailed; when Moses hands became tired, and he let them down: then Amalek prevailed against Israel.

When the person loses his contact with God through Christ, which is the contact for a person to have: Christ with His hands lifted at the Cross, Christ crucified; when the person loses his contact with Christ then the enemy prevails against the person; but when the people prevail it is because they are in contact with Christ and Christ is the intermediary between the people and God. He is the Intercessor that intercedes for us and defends us.

Keep your contact with God through Christ.

“But the hands of Moses were heavy; and they took a stone, and put it under him, and he sat thereon; and Aaron and Hur stayed up his hands, the one on the one side, and the other on the other side; and his hands were steady until the going down of the sun.

And Joshua discomfited Amalek and his people with the edge of the sword.

And the Lord said unto Moses, Write this for a memorial in a book, and rehearse it in the ears of Joshua: for I will utterly put out the remembrance of Amalek from under heaven.

And Moses built an altar, and called the name of it Jehova-nissi:

for he said, Because the Lord hath sworn that the Lord will have war with Amalek from generation to generation.”

For instance, when a nation has nations under the crown of that powerful nation, as it happened with Germany and other nations which were under the crown of the king or queen of England or of Spain or of any other nation, any person or people who would raise up against any nation that was united to England or Spain or any other powerful nation; or any person or people who would rise against Israel: was rising against the Throne of God. That’s how simple it is. Because Israel belongs to God and His Kingdom.

Well it is in the Scripture: “Israel is my son, my firstborn son.” The first nation created by God: well, the Scripture says that God is who created Israel. Therefore, whatever thing a person does against Israel, it will be counted to him doing it against God; and he is doing it against the Kingdom and Throne of God.

That’s why we find in First Chronicles, so that you may have a clear picture of who Israel is and of the blessings of God: First Chronicles chapter 28, verse 4, and on, king David says:

“Howbeit the Lord God of Israel chose me before all the house of my father to be king over Israel for ever:

for he hath chosen Judah, the house of my father; and among the sons of my father he liked me to make me king over all Israel:

and of all my sons, (for the Lord hath given me many sons,) he hath chosen Solomon my son to sit upon the throne of the kingdom of the Lord over Israel.”

The Kingdom of David is the Kingdom of God on Earth, and the Throne of David is the Throne of God on Earth. Chapter 29, also tells us, verse 22, and on:

“And did eat and drink before the Lord on that day with great gladness. And they made Solomon the son of David king the second time, and anointed him unto the Lord to be the chief governor, and Zadoc to be priest.

Then Solomon sat on the throne of the Lord as king instead of David his father, and prospered; and all Israel obeyed him.”

The Throne of David in which king Solomon sat, it says It is the Throne of the Lord. The earthly Throne of God, is the Kingdom of David, which was inherited by Solomon.

And consequently, the representation of the heavenly Kingdom and of the heavenly Throne is seen there in the earthly Kingdom and Throne of David; that’s why that kingdom of David will be restored by the Prince Messiah at the Last Day; and the Throne of David will be restored; because the Prince Messiah is the Heir to that Throne and to that Kingdom. This is found in Luke chapter 1, verse 30, and on, where it says:

“And the angel (the Angel Gabriel), said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favor with God.

And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name Jesus.

He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest; and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David:

and he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever, and of his kingdom there shall be no end.”

Now notice up to where comes the Throne and Kingdom of David: up to Its Heir, the Son of David, Christ our Savior. From Heaven, where Christ is sitting in the Throne of the Father, He directs the businesses of the Father; in other words, God the Father through Christ, there in the Throne He directs all things. He has dominion over every Kingdom, because He obtained the victory and sat upon the heavenly Throne of God; of which He was speaking while being on Earth in His body which died on Calvary’s Cross. That’s why St. Matthew chapter 28, verse 16, and on, says to His disciples already resurrected: “All power is given me in Heaven and on Earth.”

All power, is operated by God through Christ, Who is sitting on the Throne of the Father. But now in Revelation chapter 3, verses 20, to 21, Christ says:

“Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.”

In the same way He overcame and sat with the Father in the heavenly Throne, and all power in Heaven and on Earth was given to Him, He says He will do with the overcomer: “To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne.”

Now He is sitting with the heavenly Father in His Throne, but the Throne of Christ is the Throne of David to which He is the Heir; but the heavenly Throne is the Throne of the Father; and the Throne of Jesus Christ is the earthly Throne, the Throne of David, to which Throne He is the Heir, of which Throne the Archangel Gabriel spoke to Mary: God will give unto Him the Throne of David, and will sit and will reign over Israel for ever.” See?

Now, the Throne and Kingdom of David will be restored to Israel. That Kingdom will rule the whole world: all the nations will be under the crown of the Messiah; and there is where perfect peace, the everlasting peace will come for all the nations; that peace will come from the Throne and Kingdom of the Messiah, of Christ; that Kingdom will be of peace, of love, and of prosperity.

Now the blessing of God is in the midst of Christianity, which is under the New Covenant which He said He would do, in Ezekiel chapter 37, verse 15, and on.

The blessing of God is in the midst of Christianity; and consequently, Christianity– being composed by all the believers in Christ–can prosper without limitations, and each believer in Christ can prosper without limitations, spiritually and also materially.

St. Paul would say that he wanted, or wished to prosper in everything, in other words, spiritually and materially: he wrote to one of the disciples (I do not recall if it was Timothy), or one of the disciples which came to be… Or John… It was the apostle John, then, writing: Third of John, chapter 1 (there is only one chapter) verse 2.

Therefore, God under the New Covenant has blessings of all the believers in Christ; the gap of the dispensation of Grace was opened with blessings abundantly.

What must I do to obtain all the blessings He has, which are available for all the believers?

“Believe in our God,” which is Christ under the New Covenant, because He is the Word, Immanuel, which translated is: God with us.

“The Word became flesh and dwelt among us.” In other words, God has a physical body whose Name is Lord Jesus Christ; He is the physical likeness of God, that’s why Christ would say: “He that hath seen me, hath seen the Father”; and that’s why when a person says he has seen you, he says he saw such and such, when he sees your physical body, because the body is the visible part in this earthly dimension.

In the heavenly dimension you have a spiritual body; that’s why some people when they see another person pass by and disappear (and truly that person did not really exist), that’s the same as when St. Peter was delivered from prison by the Angel of God and went and knocked at the door of the house of St. Mark, where they were praying for Peter who was in jail and was to be killed the following day; and a young damsel named Rhoda when she heard someone knocking and calling; and when she is about to open the door and notices that it is Peter, she went back and forgot to open the door, she goes back to where they were praying for him and says to them: “It is Peter who is knocking.” And they reply to her: “Rhoda you are insane, it is his angel.”

The angel of each believer in Christ is his heavenly body, his spirit, for a spirit is a body of another dimension; and the Angel of the Lord that appeared to the prophets in the form of an Angel or of a Man of another dimension, It is the Angel of God, It is the theophanic body of God; and that theophanic body of God, the Angel of the Covenant, through Whom God gave the commandments at Mount Sinai to Moses for the people, It is Christ in His heavenly body, It is the image of the living God. Christ is the image of the living God, and Christ is the physical likeness of the living God also.

“He that hath seen me, hath seen the Father,” said Christ in St. John chapter 14, verse 6, and on, and in St. John chapter 10, verse 30.

Now let’s see what St. Paul tells us about Christ: Chapter 1, of Hebrews verses 1, to 3, says:

“God who at sundry times and in divers manners in time past spake unto the fathers by the prophets…”

How did God speak to the Hebrew people? By the prophets. Amos chapter 3, verse 7, says: “Surely the Lord God shall do nothing but revealeth His secrets to His servants the prophets.” And Zechariah chapter 7, tells us the following: Chapter 7, verse 11, to 12, says:

“But they refused to hearken, and pulled away the shoulder, and stopped their ears, that they should not hear.

Yea, they made their hearts as an adamant stone, lest they should hear the law, and the words which the Lord of hosts hath sent in his Spirit by the former prophets: therefore came a great wrath from the Lord of hosts.”

See how God spoke to the Hebrew people: it says He spoke to them by means of His Spirit by the prophets.

God did not have a physical body and therefore He had to use the human physical bodies of the prophets; but He had a heavenly body, which is similar to the physical body but of another dimension.

Then… lets continue here to this right. Hebrews 1:

“God who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,

hath in these days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the words…’

In other words, God through Christ the Angel of the Covenant, created the universe. Notice, the origin of the Creation is in the Bible. St. John chapter 1, verse 1, and on, it also says that God by means of the Word which is Christ, created all things.

“…who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person (who is the express image of His person)? Christ, Christ in His heavenly body), and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins (in other words, in His physical body), sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high (He sat on the heavenly Throne; that’s why all power was given to Him in Heaven and on Earth).”

Now we find that Christ with His glorified body is sitting in the heavenly Throne in Heaven. He has all the power to bless His people, and to bring spiritual prosperity first, salvation for the souls of the people and also physical prosperity.

Christ Himself on one occasion said in St. John, which could not be understood by the people of that time, but in our time it could be understood: St. John chapter 8, verses 56, to 59:

“Thy father Abraham rejoiced to see my day, he saw it and was glad.”

This was when three angels appeared to Abraham and ate with him the day before the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah.

“Then said the Jews unto him, Thou art not yet fifty years old, and hast thou seen Abraham?

Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was I am.”

It is that Jesus Christ in His heavenly body is the Angel of the Covenant through Whom God would manifest, because Jesus Christ in His heavenly body is the image of the living God, He is the Angel of the Covenant; that’s why He had to become flesh in order to die on Calvary’s Cross to establish the New Covenant which was promised in Ezekiel chapter 37, and in Jeremiah chapter 31, verses 31, and on.

That’s why in the last supper of Christ with His disciples, He took bread and after braking it He gave His disciples, and says: “Eat, for this is my body which is broken for you…” Chapter 26. In one of the Gospels it says: “This is my body…” Chapter 26, verse 26, and on, of Matthew, says:

“And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed it, and brake it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, Take eat; this is my body.

And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye of it;

for this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.”

Here it speaks to us of the New Covenant God promised to establish. And now, the body of Christ is represented the bread, and the Blood of Christ is represented in the wine: the Blood that would be shed for the remission of sins.

And here we can see that the New Covenant is established with the death of Christ on Calvary’s Cross. The Blood that cleanses us of all sin is the Blood of Christ, and Christ writes in our heart, our soul, tablets not of stone but of flesh, the heart of each person that receives Him as Savior, and there He places the Divine Laws.

Under this New Covenant there are great blessings. All that which He has promised in His Word, He will fulfill.

What is needed from us so that He fulfills it? We need to believe it with all our heart: “For he that believes all things are possible.” “All you asked the Father in my Name I will do it,” says Christ.

There are no limitations concerning the things you can obtain from behalf of God by means of Christ. “All you ask the Father in my Name I will do.” That includes spiritual things and also physical things.

We can also join together our businesses with God’s businesses. How do we do it? We have to know which are God’s businesses for the time we are living.

In one occasion, when Jesus was twelve years old, every year He would go with Joseph and Mary to Jerusalem for the day of passover; and at that occasion in which He was twelve years old, He stayed there speaking with the Doctors of the Law; and Joseph and Mary along with the other people which had come from Galilee, of Nazareth, left Jerusalem and as they returned, they were not aware that Jesus was not among them.

I think that has happened to some people also, that has happened to me, that as they return or they go to another place along with the children, and suddenly when they stop, and count the children: “There’s one missing, we must have left him someplace! And have to return: Maybe he was stranded in the super market of the pharmacy or even in the church, (which is the best place). And Mary left Him stranded in the church, in the temple. And after three days as they return, for at that time they had a long journey to walk…or in donkeys, or other animals, whatever; they did not have the facilities we have in the present time, not even bicycles.

They turn back to look for the child Jesus; and they found Him where they had seen Him for the last time: in the temple. And when they arrive, they find Him with the wise men, with the doctors of the Law, they would speak to Him and He would answer them, and would make them questions, and they would make questions to the child Jesus and His answers would marveled them, And they asked themselves: “Who is this child? With so much wisdom in the Scriptures, in the things of God, in God’s businesses.

And when Joseph and Mary arrive, and see Him, they say to Him: “What have you done to us?, why have you done this? (In other words, staying behind).” And Jesus replies: “Know you not that I must be in my Father’s business?” It was not in Joseph’s business, which was carpentry; it was God’s business. And God’s business are the fulfillment of that which He has promised for the time in which one lives.

Therefore, knowing what God has promised to do for the time in which one lives, and to be working in that Divine Program, is to be in God’s business by means of Christ.

And when we join our business with God’s Program for the time in which we live, we are doing as Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, the patriarchs and the prophets did. And in doing that there is blessing and prosperity and of much benefit from behalf of God so that you work more in the Work of the Lord.

Remember He gave out talents, in St. Matthew, chapter 25, and in St. Luke He gave out mines; both things is money. And consequently, He gave it for a purpose, said, that while He ascended to Heaven to receive the heavenly Kingdom and to sit in the heavenly Throne, and after a season in which He would be working from the heavenly Throne, which was the time in which He would be working during the Dispensation of Grace, He left these talents to His servants so that they work with those talents in the Kingdom of God.

Every person has talents to work in the Divine Program in the time which is given him to live. Those that multiplied those talents were persons that received God’s blessing when the Lord returned. Those that did not do anything for and in the Program of God, the talent or the mine was taken away from them and was given to whom had more: “For he who has, shall be given more, and he that has not, even that which he has shall be taken away”; because that talent or mine did not belong to the person, it belonged to God and was given to the person to work in God’s Program with that talent or mine which God gave him; and that’s why we are held responsible before God to attend the Lord’s business.

“For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?

For the Son of Man shall come in the glory of His Father with His angels; and then He shall reward every man according to his works.” We want our works to be joined to the Divine Program concerning to our time. We do not want this which is said in St. Matthew chapter 16, verses 26, to 28: “For what will a man profit if he shall gain the whole world and lose his soul? to affect us; but rather for us to receive a great blessing from behalf of God.

Our soul is the most important thing, because that is what you are: living soul; but God has given you a spiritual body called spirit, and has given you also a physical body, so that we may live on Earth and serve God, so that we can make contact with eternal Life through Christ, Who is eternal Life; in order to live eternally in the Kingdom of God, and also to work in the Kingdom of God through Christ, in every sense.

“BELIEVE THE LORD YOUR GOD, SO YE SHALL BE ESTABLISHED; BELIEVE HIS PROPHETS, SO SHALL YE PROSPER.”

May the safety promised at believing in God, in our God, be a reality in your lives; and may we know from where we have come, and why we are on Earth and where will we go after our time ends in this earthly body.

We have come from eternity. You did not choose to come, it was determined by God. We are on Earth to make contact with eternal Life through Christ, and to be cleansed of all sin with the Blood of Christ, so to go with Christ to the heavenly Kingdom, to the Wedding Supper os the Lamb; and thereafter we will return with Christ to Earth to begin the Kingdom of the Messiah, the Millennial Kingdom.

At knowing these things our distress disappears; and we are at ease living on Earth and working in the business of our Lord Jesus Christ, which is the Divine Program relating to our time, as others also worked at other times.

That’s why is so important to receive Christ as only and sufficient Savior. That’s believing in our God at receiving Christ as only and sufficient Savior and to follow Him all the days of our life. Christ said in St. John chapter 10, verses 27, to 30: “My sheep hear my voice and they follow me, and I know them, and I give unto them eternal Life.”

We can only receive eternal Life through Christ, by receiving Him as only and sufficient Savior.

“And shall never perish. My Father which gave them me is grater than all, and no man is able to pluck them from my Father’s hand.” And thus we will be secure, as sheep of the Lord in the Kingdom of the Lord Jesus Christ.

He also says in St. John chapter 10, verse 9: “I am the door.” In other words, the door to Heaven, the door to eternal Life, the door of the Kingdom of God is Christ: “I am the door; he that entereth by me, shall be saved; and shall go in and find pastures.”

Christ is the door to Heaven, Christ is the door unto eternal Life; therefore, there is no other door, by which to enter eternal Life. I entered through that door, and who else? Each one of you also.

If there is anyone that has not yet entered into eternal Life, to Heaven, to the Kingdom of God through that door, you may do it at this moment and we will be praying for you, for which you may come over to the front and we will pray for you.

The most important thing is this life is eternal Life; and we can only obtain It through Jesus Christ; and it must be done before our time on Earth ends, because after our time ends on Earth, the opportunity is finished.

We do not know for how long God has permitted us to live on this Earth, for people are born on Earth and do not know when they will die physically; because children die, young people die, adults die, and elderly people die; and you do not know if the day in which you are to die, you be an elderly man or an elderly woman, or a middle age person, or a young person or a child; that’s why we must secure our eternal future with Christ in His Kingdom.

That’s why when the children are born, the babies are born they are presented to God so He receives them in His Kingdom. It is that we must secure our eternal future with Christ in His eternal Kingdom; there is no other way to secure our eternal future; and it must be done while we live on Earth.

The most important thing for us is to secure our eternal future. We cannot overlook the opportunity of obtaining eternal Life with Christ in His eternal Kingdom.

Let us stand up to pray for the persons that have come to the Feet of Christ our Savior. With our hands raised to Heaven, to Christ, and with our eyes closed:

Heavenly Father, in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ I come to You with all these persons that are receiving Christ as only and sufficient Savior. Lord, receive them in Your Kingdom. I ask it in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Now, repeat this prayer with me:

Lord Jesus Christ, I heard the preaching of Your Gospel and Your faith was born in my heart.

I believe in You with all my soul. I believe in Your first Coming and I believe in Your Name as the only Name under Heaven given unto men, whereby we shall be saved.

I believe in Your death at Calvary’s Cross as the only Sacrifice of atonement for my sins and for the sins of all mankind.

Lord, I acknowledge that I am a sinner and need a Savior. I testify publicly of my faith in You and I receive You as my only and sufficient Savior.

I beg You to forgive my sins and to cleanse me with Your Blood of all sin, and may I be baptized with Holy Spirit and Fire after I’d be baptized in water in Your Name, and may You produce in me the new birth. I beg You Lord. Make the salvation You purchased for me at Calvary’s Cross a reality in my life. I ask it in Your eternal and glorious Name Lord Jesus Christ. Amen and amen.

Now you will say to me: “I want to be baptized in water as soon as possible, for Christ said: ‘He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved, but he that believeth not shall be damned.’ St. Mark chapter 16, verses 15, to 16.”

It was Christ who commanded us to be baptized at believing in Him. Christ Himself was baptized by John the Baptist. John did not want to baptize Him, he said to Him: “I’m in need to be baptize by You, and You come to me to baptize You? Christ tells him: “It behooves us to fulfill all righteousness.” And then he baptized Him.

And if Christ had the need to be baptized by John the Baptist, how much more we need to be baptized in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ!

Therefore, aware that water baptism does not take away sins, but rather it is the Blood of Christ that cleanses us of all sin, you may be baptized; and may Christ baptize you with Holy Spirit and Fire, and may He produce in you the new birth.

When the person receives Christ as Savior, he dies to the world, and when the minister immerses him in the baptismal waters, typologically, symbolically, he is being buried; and when he is lifted from the baptismal water he is resurrecting unto a new life: unto eternal Life with Christ in His eternal Kingdom.

That’s the symbolism, the typology of the water baptism in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, in Whom and with Whom we identify, we identify ourselves with Christ in His death, burial and resurrection at being baptized in water in His Name.

Therefore, you may be baptized and may Christ baptize you with Holy Spirit and Fire, and may He produce in you the new birth; we will continue seeing each other eternally in the Kingdom of Christ our Savior.

I leave you all with the reverend Villegas, so that he may let you know what to do to be baptized in water in the Name of our beloved Lord Jesus Christ.

May God bless you all.

“BELIEVE HIS PROPHETS, SO SHALL YE PROSPER.”
