The Leadership of the Angel of the Lord

THE LEADERSHIP OF THE ANGEL OF THE LORD

Friday, August 2, 2013. Second Activity. Monterrey, Mexico

Good evening, dear friends and the brethren present; it is for me a great privilege to be with you in this occasion to share with you moments of fellowship around the Word of God and His Program pertaining to this end time.

Let’s read in Exodus chapter 23, verses 20, to 23, where God tells us, speaking to Moses and the people:

“Behold, I send an angel before thee, to keep thee in the way, and to bring thee into the place which I have prepared.

Beware of him, and obey his voice, provoke him not; for he will not pardon your transgressions: for my name is in him.

But if thou shall indeed obey his voice, and do all that I speak; then I will be an enemy unto thine enemies, and an adversary unto thine adversaries.

For mine angel shall go before thee, and bring thee in unto the Amorites, and the Hittites, and the Perizzites, and the Cannanites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites; and I will cut them off.”

May God bless our souls with His Word, and open the Scriptures to us and allow us to understand Them.

“THE LEADERSHIP OF THE ANGEL OF THE LORD.”

The leadership of the Angel of the Lord is the Leadership of God Himself by means of the Angel of the Covenant, which is Christ in His heavenly body. And the Angel of the Covenant is God’s heavenly body which appeared to the people from Genesis to Revelation.

In Numbers 27:17, when Moses saw his time coming to an end, he says to God, in chapter 27, verse 15, and on:

“And Moses spake unto the Lord, saying,

Let the Lord, the God of the spirits of all flesh, set a man over the congregation,

which may go out before them, and which may go in before them, and which may lead them out, and which may bring them in; that the congregation of the Lord be not as sheep which have no shepherd.”

We find, that a people or a person, without being led by the Pillar of Fire the Angel of the Covenant, using a shepherd of sheep, spiritual sheep, that people or person will be found as a sheep without a shepherd, a people which has not in its midst the Holy Spirit manifested in a messenger, as it has been from Genesis to Malachi, and from St. Matthew up to Revelation. The Lord Himself said that He would send the Holy Spirit.

When Christ was with His disciples, the Holy Spirit was leading them through Christ; that’s why He said He did not do anything of Himself, but rather He did what He saw the Father do, that which the Father showed Him to do, He showed it to Jesus Christ and then Jesus Christ became the instrument through Whom God would carry out that labor.

Therefore, the things Jesus Christ performed, it was God doing it through the veil of flesh called Jesus.

The Holy Spirit has always used a veil of flesh to lead His people throughout the ages and dispensations.

Note, in St. John chapter 10, verse 11, where Christ tells us:

“I am the good shepherd, the good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.”

And St. John chapter 10, verse 14, and on, says:

“I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine.

As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep.

And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.

Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again.

No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father.”

And now, He says He is the Good Shepherd and that He lays down His Life for the sheep; which He did on Calvary’s Cross. And He says: “And other sheep I have, which are not of this Fold, them also I must bring, and they will hear my voice; and there shall be one Fold, and one Shepherd.” The Fold is the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, the Good Shepherd is Christ, Who speaks from age to age, searching for those sheep which are written in Heaven in the Lamb’s Book of Life.

Now, if He left His body is already glorified and is sitting at the right hand of God, in which way will Christ seek those sheep and speak to them, and they will believe and will receive Him? In St. Matthew chapter 28, verse 20, He says: “I will be with you always until the end of the world.”

He will be in the midst of His Church in Holy Spirit, in the Pillar of Fire, as He was appearing to Moses and also to Joshua, revealing to Moses what he should speak to the people. It was God in Holy Spirit in Moses, speaking to the people; it was the Word of God anointed by the Holy Spirit, coming from Moses’ mouth.

God would speak to Moses, would show Moses what he should speak to the people; and God would perform all that which He told Moses to speak, God fulfilled in each occasion that which Moses spoke; it was the thoughts of God coming to the heart, to the soul of Moses, and Moses speaking it to the people, And that was the way in which God as the Good Shepherd by means of the Angel of the Covenant, by means of the Holy Spirit, would speak to Moses and Moses to the people. It was nothing less than God leading His people Israel through the wilderness, giving them manna, and water, and also meat.

If any one had thought in that exodus, in that liberation in which Moses said to the people that God had sent him, if any one had though: “Where is the food that the people will use in the journey from Egypt to the promised land? The only thing Moses could say is: “God will provide.” Water in the wilderness, where will we find it? “God will provide.”

God provided Hagar water in the wilderness for her son.

God in His heavenly body appeared to Hagar, He spoke to her words of comfort, of blessing; and she named that place “Thou God seest me,” Who provided water for her young son Ishmael.

We find God will always provide. He provided a ram for Abraham to offer it as a sacrifice in place of his son Isaac. He is a provider God.

And now, it is always God through His Angel using a veil of flesh to speak to the people. “For the Lord God shall do nothing, before revealing His secret to His servants the prophets.” (Amos, 3, 7.)

Zechariah chapter 7, verse 11, tells us:

“But they refused to hearken, and pulled away the shoulder, and stopped their ears, that they should not hear.

Yea, they made their hearts as an adamant stone, lest they should hear the law, and the words which the Lord of hosts hath sent in his Spirit by the former prophets: therefore came a great wrath from the Lord of hosts.”

By not wanting to hear what the Spirit would speak through the prophets, they did not want to hear the Voice of God, and consequently they did not want the leadership and the guidance of the Angel of the Covenant, the Angel of God. Which is the way in which God leads His people: by means of His Spirit.

Jesus Christ Himself speaking about this, said in St. John chapter 16, verses 12, to 15:

“I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now.

Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will show you things to come.”

Now notice in which way God says by means of Christ that He will speak and will show all the things that will come, and will guide His people into all righteousness and truth:

“Howbeit when he, the Sprit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth.”

That’s the way God leads His people, His Church under the New Covenant. That’s the leadership of the Angel of the Covenant, the Angel of the Lord, the Angel of God. It is the leadership of the Holy Spirit from age to age by means of His different messengers; and that way the believers in Christ are not as sheep without a Shepherd in the Mystical Body of Christ.

In St. John chapter 14, verse 26, tells us:

“But the Comforter which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.”

Who teaches all things? The Holy Ghost; and will bring into remembrance all the things Christ spoke. That’s a Work of the Holy Ghost.

Chapter 15, verse 26, to 27, of St. John says:

“But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:

and ye all shall bear witness, because ye have been with me from the beginning.”

Notice the way the Holy Spirit comes bearing witness of Christ on this Earth; because He is the Guide, Who reveals all things. He has the leadership in His Church, the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Therefore, the way the Holy Spirit has taught His Church from age to age, and we have obtained that teaching from age to age, and the teaching that the Holy Spirit will give pertaining to this time, He will also give it to His Church; because He has the leadership in the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ. He is the Angel of the Covenant, the Angel of God, and He guides His Church from age to age.

And in as much as the Holy Spirit

has been and is guiding His Church, and thus leading His Church: by giving us His Word, the spiritual Food for the soul, with which we are fed spiritually; “for man shall not live by bread alone, but by every Word that proceeds from the mouth of God.” Which is God’s Word being proclaimed, being preached by the Holy Spirit through His different messengers.

“THE LEADERSHIP OF THE ANGEL OF THE LORD.”

And that’s the leadership of Christ in Holy Spirit in the midst of His Church. He is guiding and leading all the sheep the Father gave Him to seek them and to give them eternal Life.

If there any one that has not yet received Christ as Savior, so He may have the leadership in your life, you can do it at this moment and we will be praying for you; for which you may come to the front and we will pray for you.

Let’s wait a few minutes while the people that have not received Christ yet, so that Christ may receive them in His Kingdom.

God has many souls in Monterrey, and in all the state of Nuevo Leon, in all of Latin America, in the Caribbean and in all the countries, and He is calling them in this end time; your names are written in Heaven in the Lamb’s Book of Life. He said: “I have also other sheep which are not of this Fold, which I must also bring, and they will hear my voice; and there will be one Fold and one Shepherd.”

Therefore, you may come, for Christ said that He will seek those sheep the Father gave Him to give them eternal Life.

The most important thing is eternal Life, there is no other thing more important than eternal Life; for which we all need Christ, because Christ is the One that has eternal Life to impart with all the sheep the Father gave Him to seek, to call and to place them in the Fold, the Fold of the Lord.

Children of ten years and older may also come to the Feet of Christ, for He said: “Suffer little children to come to me, and forbid them not, for of such is the kingdom of heaven. (Matthew 19:14).

The greatest decision a person can make is to receive Christ as only and sufficient Savior. There is no other decision greater that you can make, because that’s the only decision that places you in the Kingdom of Christ with eternal Life, because to receive Christ as only and sufficient Savior is a matter of eternal Life; for which every person has the opportunity to receive Him as only and sufficient Savior.

The most important thing is eternal Life. There is no other thing of more importance for the human being. If this physical life, which is temporal, is so important, how much more eternal Life!

To receive Christ as Savior is a matter of eternal Life; and we have that opportunity while we live in this earthly body, in this temporary body God has allowed us to live in.

Let us stand up to pray for the people that have come to the Feet of Christ in this occasion. With our hands raised to Heaven, to Christ, and with our eyes closed:

“Lord, heavenly Father, in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ I come to You bringing these persons that are receiving Christ as only and sufficient Savior. Receive them Lord, in Your Kingdom. I beg You in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.

Now repeat with me this prayer, those of you that have come to the Feet of Christ our Savior:

“Lord Jesus Christ, I heard the preaching of Your Gospel and Your faith was borne in my heart.

I believe in You with all my soul. I believe in Your Name as the only Name under Heaven given unto men whereby we shall be saved. I believe O Lord in Your first Coming and in Your death at Cavalry’s Cross as the Sacrifice of Atonement for our sins.

Lord, I acknowledge that I’m a sinner and need a Savior. I testify publicly of my faith in You and I receive You as my only and sufficient Savior.

Oh, eternal God, I beg You to forgive my sins and to cleanse me with Your Blood of all sin, and to baptize me with Holy Spirit and Fire, and may You produce in me the new birth. I beg You Lord in Your glorious Name, Lord Jesus Christ. Amen, and amen.

Now you will say to me: “I want to be baptized in water as soon as possible, in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. When can I be baptized? Is the question from the inwards of your heart.

Since you have believed in Christ and have received Him as Savior, you may well be baptized; and may Christ baptize you with Holy Spirit and Fire, and may He produce in you the new birth, and we will continue to see each other eternally in the Kingdom of Christ our Savior.

I leave here the minister, the reverend Epifanio, to let you know what to do to be baptized in water in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Water baptism does not take away sin, it is the Blood of Christ that cleanses us of all sin; but water baptism is a commandment of the Lord Jesus Christ, because in water baptism we identify with Christ in His death, burial and resurrection.

When the person receives Christ as Savior, he dies to the world; and when the minister immerses him in the baptismal waters, typologically he is being buried, and when he is lifted from the baptismal waters, he is resurrection unto a new Life, unto eternal Life with Christ in His eternal Kingdom. As simple as that is the meaning of water baptism, in which we identify ourselves with Christ in His death, burial and resurrection.

I leave here the minister Epifanio to let you know what to do to be baptized in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ.

May you all continue having a happy evening filled with the blessings of Christ; and may the leadership of the Angel of the Covenant, of the Holy Spirit, always be in the life of everyone of you.

May you all have a happy night. God bless you all.
