CHRIST’S TRIUMPHANT
ENTRY FOR THE SALVATION
OF THE WORLD

.
Very good morning or good afternoon, beloved friends and brethren, fellow ministers in the ministry of the Mystical Body of Christ, present, and also those in other nations, and all brothers and sisters in different congregations and also those who are present here, may the blessings of Christ, the Angel of the Covenant, be upon all of you and me also on this day: Palm Sunday, the day commemorating Christ’s triumphant entry into Jerusalem as King. In the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
Today Sunday marks an important event in the midst of Christianity, and it is Christ’s triumphant entry into Jerusalem as King, and for which we read in Matthew, chapter 21, verses 1 to 11, which says as follows, and we will read it:
“And when they drew nigh unto Jerusalem, and were come to Bethphage, unto the mount of Olives, then sent Jesus two disciples,
Saying unto them, Go into the village over against you, and straightway ye shall find an ass tied, and a colt with her: loose them, and bring them unto me.
And if any man say ought unto you, ye shall say, The Lord hath need of them; and straightway he will send them.
All this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying,
Tell ye the daughter of Sion, Behold, thy King cometh unto thee, meek, and sitting upon an ass, and a colt the foal of an ass.
And the disciples went, and did as Jesus commanded them, And brought the ass, and the colt, and put on them their clothes, and they set him thereon.
And a very great multitude spread their garments in the way; others cut down branches from the trees, and strawed them in the way.
And the multitudes that went before, and that followed, cried, saying, Hosanna to the Son of David: Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord; Hosanna in the highest.
And when he was come into Jerusalem, all the city was moved, saying, Who is this?
And the multitude said, This is Jesus the prophet of Nazareth of Galilee.”
May God bless our souls with His Word and allow us to understand It.
This question, “Who is this?” because of the commotion it had caused, and it seems that all religious work was interrupted there with the entry of Jesus into Jerusalem sitting on that little ass, on that colt, a little donkey that no one had sat on it yet, and since Jesus was neither tall nor big person, let’s say about five feet, five inches tall, says the Rev. William Branham and about one hundred thirty-five pounds, well, the colt, the little donkey, could carry Him easily.
And now, why did He ride on a little donkey and did not come on a camel or a white horse as many were expecting for Him to do? Because Zechariah, chapter 9, verse 9 says:
“Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, thy King cometh unto thee: he is just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt the foal of an ass.”
The prophecy thus predicted and it had to be fulfilled like that. Israel with all its religious leaders was expecting the Coming of the Messiah on a great white horse, as a military Man to conquer there the Kingdom, to deliver them from the Roman kingdom that ruled over the Hebrew people in those days.
They expected a deliverer, a redeemer that would deliver them from that Roman government that treated them ill and wanted and expected the Messiah the Prince, to establish His Kingdom, to be the King of Israel, they did not want Herod nor any other person there, nor the Caesar who ruled from Rome, which was the one who ruled over all the territories and ruled there over Israel by means of the governor who had been placed there; and neither through king Herod, as well as through local kings which Herod had appointed there by order of Caesar. In Paul’s day we can see how it was in those times where there were rulers in certain territories of Israel, but all were under the crown of Caesar.
And now, Israel was waiting for a deliverer: for the Messiah to establish His Kingdom, in other words, to restore the Kingdom of David. If the Messiah, if He was to appear in the midst of Israel as a man, then He first had to pass through the stage of child, for which, first He had to be born, and according to the laws, the divine law given to Israel … Israel is the Church of the covenant which was given by God back in Mount Sinai, and she became God’s people, the people taken out of Egypt, because the Church is, “the ones taken out,” taken out of the kingdom of Egypt, and in the New Testament, New Covenant, the Church are “the taken out” out of the world, outside of the kingdom of darkness and placed in the Kingdom of God, in Christ’s Kingdom, which form the Mystical Body of Christ, they form the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ in the New Covenant which God established with His people.
Israel was awaiting the Coming of the Messiah, for which God had to send the one who would prepare the way for the Messiah at His Coming. Malachi, chapter 3, verse 1 says:
“Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me
(the promise here is that God will send a messenger preparing the way to the Messiah, a forerunner): and the Lord, whom ye seek (in other words, God the Father), shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the LORD of hosts.”
The Angel of the Covenant which is the Holy Spirit, because a Spirit is a body of another dimension, a spiritual body, an angelic body, and that’s what the Angel of the Covenant is, it is the angelic or theophanic body of God, which appeared to Adam, Abel, and so on all these prophets from Adam until now, He appeared to Abraham, Jacob, too, it is the Angel with whom Jacob wrestled with in chapter 32, verses 24 through 32 of Genesis, and He did not let Him go until the Angel blessed him, blessed Jacob.
And Jacob asked Him: “What is Your Name?” and the Angel would not make His Name known, “Why do you ask for my Name?” in other words, He also said the same to Manoah, Samson’s father, and … this was in Chapter 13 of the Book of Judges, when Manoah wanted to know the Name of the Angel.
Moses wanted to know the Name of the Angel when He appeared to him in chapter 3, verses 1 to 16, and says to God, Who was speaking to him through this angelic body, says to Him: “If they ask me (meaning Israel there in Egypt where Moses was being sent), I come unto the children of Israel and I say to them: ‘The God of your fathers hath appeared to me and has sent me to you ‘if they ask me what is His Name, what should I tell them?” Then God said to him: “I Am that I Am, and you will say to them: I am has sent me to you. This is my Name, my memorial forever.”
The I Am is God Himself veiled in an angelic body called the Angel of God or Angel of the Covenant. Moses wanted to see God, God said to him, “No man shall see Me and live, I will pass before you, you will be placed in the cleft of the rock, I’ll put my hand on you, on your face, on you, and when I shall have passed by proclaiming God’s Name, the Name of the Lord (well, of course being pronounced the right way as it was pronounced by God), then thereafter I will remove my hand and then you will see my back parts.”
And so it was, when God passed before Moses, he saw God’s back parts, the back parts as of a man; it was the Angel of the Covenant, the angelic body of God in which God dwelt and dwells, and through whom He appeared to the different prophets He sent.
He always appeared in the same body, sometimes in the form of light, but that body was within that Pillar of Fire or that Light or that Cloud, God told Moses: “No man shall see Me and live,” that’s why John, chapter 1, verse 18 says:” No man has ever seen God,” but the Scripture says that Moses saw God and spoke with God face to face, but it was God in that Pillar of Fire, which was the Angel of the Covenant in the form of Light, and sometimes He showed Himself as a man from another dimension.
When Manoah also sees Him and the Angel speaks to Manoah and says to him the same thing that He had said to Mrs. Manoah, because Manoah prayed when his wife told him that an Angel, a man, had appeared to her and told her that she was going to have a child, and she was barren, and even the name was given for that child, and Manoah prays to God to send that man again, that Angel, and God sends Him, He appears again to Manoah’s wife, and she goes and tells her husband that the same man had appeared to her.
Manoah leaves his home, goes to where the Angel is and there he speaks to the Angel, he says to Him: “Are you the man that appeared to my wife the other day?” and that man, the Angel, says to him: “Yes, I am.” Manoah says to him: “What should be done when the child is born?” He tells him exactly the same things that He had told Mrs. Manoah, that he shall be a Nazarite, and should not drink wine or cider she nor he, and so forth, He told them how they had to raise that child.
And the child became the strongest man that was ever spoken of in biblical history, not by human power, but because the Spirit of God came upon him and then it was the power, the power of God through the Holy Spirit working through a man called Samson.
Manoah says to the Angel: “Let me invite you for a meal,” the Angel says: “I will not eat from your bread, but if you want to sacrifice to God, a burnt offering to God, offer it to God, sacrifice it to God,” Manoah prepared a kid goat, brought it and placed it on the rock, and while the fire consumed the offering that Manoah brought and presented to God, the Angel ascended in the flame of fire, went up in the flame, and then Manoah knew it was an Angel of God, the Angel of the Covenant, the same Angel who had appeared to Moses, Manoah said to his wife (to Mrs. Manoah): “We shall surely die, because we have seen God face to face.”
Remember, Manoah had asked for the Name of the Angel, and the Angel says: “Why do you ask for my Name, which is Wonderful?” the same as Isaiah says, chapter 9, that the child that would be born would be called “Wonderful, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace,” and Manoah tells his wife: “We shall surely die, because we have seen God face to face, “God had already told Moses,” No man shall see Me and live.”
And Manoah’s wife says to him: “We shall not die (by logic), we shall not die (she also had revelation), we shall not die, because otherwise He would not make this promise to us, He would not tell us we’re going to have a child, how are we going to have a child if we are going to die, because we have seen God face to face,” because they saw God face to face, Manoah said: “We have seen God face to face.” The same thing the Scripture says, that Moses spoke with God face to face.
Jacob when he wrestled with the Angel of God in chapter 32, verses 24 to 32, after receiving the blessing from the Angel, he called the place where he had that experience, the following name, and we will read it here to see why he called it so. Chapter 32, verse 24 onwards says:
“And Jacob was left alone; and there wrestled a man with him until the breaking of the day. And when he saw that he prevailed not against him, he touched the hollow of his thigh; and the hollow of Jacob’s thigh was out of joint, as he wrestled with him.
And he
(the Angel) said, Let me go, for the day breaketh. And he said, I will not let thee go, except thou bless me.”
So he knew that it was God’s Angel, that it was the same that appeared him on other occasions, he knew His Voice:
And he said unto him, What is thy name? And he said, Jacob.
And he said, Thy name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel: for as a prince hast thou power with God and with men, and hast prevailed.
And Jacob asked him
(there lays the blessing), and said, Tell me, I pray thee, thy name. And he said, Wherefore is it that thou dost ask after my name? And he blessed him there.
And Jacob called the name of the place Peniel: for I have seen God face to face, and my life is preserved.”
Peniel means: “The Face of God,” therefore, he saw the face of God, he met God face to face, but the Scripture says in John, chapter 1, verse 18: “No one has ever seen God,” it seems a contradiction, but there are no contradictions in the Bible, the Bible is perfect because it is the thought of God expressed through different prophets He has sent, different men of God so much as from Adam until Jesus, as well as from Jesus to John the apostle.
And now, we find that all these people saw God face to face, but none of them saw God, what they saw was the Angel of the Covenant, God’s angelic body, the theophanic body of God, also called the Holy Spirit, because that is a body of another dimension, and that Angel of the Covenant is Whom the messenger would prepare the way to; the Angel of the Covenant, God, the Lord, and the Angel of the Covenant, would come, and a messenger would be preparing Him the way.
And how would the Lord and the Angel of the Covenant come? In a body of flesh that would be born through a virgin descendant from King David. Isaiah, chapter 7, verse 14, says: “Behold I will give you a sign (in other words, an everlasting sign).”
It is important to know who Jesus Christ is, to be able to understand Christ’s triumphant entry into Jerusalem, the question was: “Who is He? ‘Who is this? Who is this man, this man who comes on a donkey, on a little donkey, and a people, a group of people, a crowd, crying: Hosanna, hosanna to Him that comes in the Name of the Lord, Hosanna to the Son of David?” and they ask: “Who is this that is stirring up this fuss?” Because He had not been recognized by the religious authorities as the Messiah, and He had already been three and a half years in the ministry. See, Isaiah, chapter 7, verse 14 says:
“Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign: Behold a virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.”
Which translated is: God with us. It says here in Matthew, chapter 1, verse 18 and onwards, it says:
“Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost.”
It was the Holy Spirit creating that life in the womb of Mary, and it multiplied cell upon cell, and that’s how the body of Jesus was formed in Mary’s womb. God through the Holy Spirit created in Mary, in Mary’s womb that life and thereby creating His physical body that He would have on this Earth, in other words, His physical likeness, in which He would appear to Israel as the Messiah Prince and would be Immanuel: God with us, God with us in a body of flesh called Jesus; and appeared in the midst of Israel in a body of flesh called Jesus.
Jesus Christ said: “Before Abraham was, I am” (John, chapter 8, verse 56 to 58), and that seemed, to many people, a man who was out of his senses, talking nonsense, but He was in His right mind telling the truth: “Before Abraham was, I am,” said Christ.
Why? For He in His angelic body called the Angel of the Covenant was before Abraham, He was before Adam too, and was before all creation. He is the Word that was with God and was God and became flesh according to John, chapter 1, verse 1 to 18, which says: “In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God, all things were made by Him and without Him was not anything made that was made. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men,” and it also says: “That was the true Light that enlightens every man that cometh into this world, He was in the world, and the world was made by Him, and the world knew Him not.” (John, chapter 1, verse 9). And John, chapter 1, verse 12 to 14 says:
“He came unto his own (to His own or He came unto His own: to the Hebrew people), and his own received him not (they did not recognize Him or received Him, did not recognize Him, did not receive Him).
But as many as received Him, to them that believe on his name…”
These are the people who received Him at that time and those who would receive Him through the preaching of the Gospel of the Kingdom. He says of these people:
“He came unto his own
(verse 11), and his own received him not (in other words, Israel).
“But as many as received Him, to them that believe on his name, he gave power to become the children of God.
Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.”
You do not have to worry about which is your genealogy tree, it is a matter of hearing the preaching of the Gospel of the Kingdom and believing It, the faith of Christ is born in your soul, you believe It, receive Him as Savior, you are baptized in water in His Name, Christ baptizes you with the Holy Spirit and Fire and produces in the person the new birth, you are born as a son or a daughter of God, because the physical birth we had, was not as children of God, it was an earthly birth, of this world.
The birth that is of Heaven is the new birth, of which Christ told Nicodemus: “Verily, verily I say unto you, except a man is born again, he cannot see the Kingdom of God, “Nicodemus thought that he had to be born again through his mother, but Christ says: “Verily, verily, I say, Except a man be born of Water and the Spirit he cannot enter the Kingdom of God,” it is a spiritual birth of the Spirit of God when (the person) receives Christ as Savior after hearing the preaching of the Gospel of Christ.
To be born of Water is to be born of the Gospel of Christ, and to be born of the Spirit is to be born of the Holy Spirit, to receive the Holy Spirit and that’s how the new birth is obtained, and one has entered the Kingdom of God, or Kingdom of Christ, which is the Kingdom of God. It continues:
“And the Word was made flesh and dwelt among us …”
The Word that was with God and was God, the Angel of the Covenant, was made flesh and dwelt among us, became a man of this dimension when life was created in the womb of Mary, which was multiplied cell upon cell, and at the appointed time, say at nine months, Mary gave birth to the child Jesus. The Angel Gabriel gave her the Name that had to call Him: Jesus, in Spanish, Jesus in English and Yoshua in the Hebrew language, which means Savior, Redeemer, and He bears the Name of God. “I am come in the Name of My Father,” Christ said.
And now we see who Jesus Christ is, He is not just any person, He is nothing less than God Himself in the angelic body called the Angel of the Covenant and called the Holy Spirit, dressed in a body of flesh called Jesus, that’s the answer to the question: “Who is this?” and He is the Messiah, the anointed One with the Holy Spirit, in Whom dwelt the fullness of the Godhead. That’s why He could say: “Before Abraham was, I Am,” it looked like He was crazy, but not so, He was telling the truth and that’s what the prophecy of the Coming of the Messiah said in Malachi, chapter 3.
And then, that God the Father would be in Him, He said: “I do nothing of myself, the Father that dwelleth in me, He doeth the works,” He also said: “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, for He has anointed me, “See? He was the Messiah, the Christ, because what Christ means is ‘anointed,’ anointed with the Holy Spirit, the Messiah. Christ, Messiah and Anointed is the same, and it is applied in its full meaning to Jesus Christ, because the prophets were also anointed, different messengers were anointed with the Holy Spirit and those were the little messiahs, the little anointed ones, in different stages of biblical history, of Israel’s history, and so also of the history of Christianity.
Now we already know the answer to the question they asked when they saw this young carpenter on a colt the foal of an ass entering into Jerusalem with a crowd that was crying with a loud voice: “Hosanna to Him that cometh in the Name of the Lord, Hosanna to the Son of David, blessed is the coming Kingdom of David.”
But that’s what was promised to happen at that time, and the man appointed for that purpose had to fulfill it, which would be nothing less than God Himself dressed in a body of flesh: Emmanuel, God with us, visiting His people. That is the relationship which exists between the Messiah and God: it is God in His angelic body called the Angel of the Covenant, in a veil of flesh called Jesus, that’s the mystery of God the Father and of Christ.
The body called Jesus is the veil of flesh, is the human temple where God dwelt; remember, in John, chapter 2, Jesus Christ says. “Destroy this temple and in three days I will raise it up,” they thought He was speaking of the temple of stones that was there, but He was speaking of His body. The Scripture also tells us … Paul says: “Know ye not ye are the temple of God and the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?”
What happens is that the human being is a temple of God and for God, and it depends, mainly in the free moral agency everyone has, whom do you want or who do you want to dwell in that temple, in the holy of holies of that temple which is the soul of the person: either God, or the evil one, the devil. It depends who you welcome within your heart; that’s why people are told to receive Christ into their hearts as only and sufficient Savior, for Him to dwell there in their heart, in their soul, which is the most holy place of the person as human temple.
The person as a human temple has those three parts which the temple built by king Solomon has, and also the tabernacle built by Moses: outer court, which is the physical body, holy place, which is the person’s spirit, and soul, which is the most holy place of the person for God to dwell in the soul of the person.
And now, we’ve seen who Jesus Christ is, the One who entered into Jerusalem on a colt the foal of an ass, the question was answered; and we have also seen what the human being is: body, that is the human temple, the earthly home of the person, the human temple; he is also spirit, which is also a body of another dimension; and he is soul, a living soul, that’s the most important thing in you and me: the soul, because that is what actually the person is, that is the greatest, the main thing, it is greater than the body and greater than the spirit that the person has. That is why Christ said in Matthew, chapter 16, verses 26 to 28:
“For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?
(See? because the most important thing is the soul) or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?
For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works.”
It is important for every person to know what he is and who he is. For God created man in His image and likeness, that is why we find God the Father, we also find the Holy Spirit, and we find the physical body called Jesus: Father, Son and Holy Spirit, and “these three are one” says the Scripture. Christ said: “The Father and I are one,” but He said: “The Father is greater than I,” that is in John, chapter 10, verses 27 onwards, it says:
“My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father’s hand.”
And now, here we have the mystery of God the Father and of Christ, opened, so everyone will know who Jesus Christ is: “The Father and I are one,” says Jesus Christ (John, chapter 10, verse 27 to 30), and also chapter 14, verse 6 onwards Christ says speaking in this passage, He says:
“I am the way and the truth and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me
(that is, no one can approach God except through Jesus Christ).
If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.
Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us.
Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father…”
Why? Because the body called Jesus is the physical, human, body God, it is the physical likeness of God, which is tangible in the midst of His disciples, with which He can talk to them and they with Him, that eats with them, shares with them, and so on; it was Emmanuel, which being interpreted is: God with us, as the Scripture says, which I was reading a few minutes ago and I stopped a moment, where it says … I read it again:
“Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost.
Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make her a publick example, was minded to put her away privily.
But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David…”
Why does He says to him: Joseph, son of David? Because also Joseph like Mary, was a descendant of King David through the line of King David’s son, Nathan, and Joseph was a descendant of King David through the line of King Solomon, both were of the royalty; which is why the situation was so difficult at that time, because the fight was on and with the royalty of King David, the descendants of King David, Joseph and Mary had a child, and His Name was called Jesus, He was the fruit of the Holy Spirit in Mary, Joseph adopted Him as his son and therefore also he had all the rights as if He was the son of Joseph:
“… Joseph, son of David, fear not to take Mary thy wife, for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit
(Joseph, not being a prophet, then God spoke to him by dreams, God spoke in a dream to Joseph because he was not a prophet).
She will bear a son, and shalt call his name Jesus …”
The same thing which the Angel Gabriel had spoken to the Virgin Mary, now He also says it to Joseph, the name they have to call the child, and tells him the whole mystery of the pregnancy of the Virgin Mary. He says:
“And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins
(why does he call His Name Jesus? Because it means Saviour, He was to save His people from their sins).
Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying,
Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.”
All this is the mystery of the birth of Jesus: Who is this? Asks Jerusalem, the people there when they see Jesus entering with a crowd, with the followers who believed His message and many more who joined them at the time, crying: “Hosanna to the King that cometh in the Name of the Lord, blessed be the Coming of the Kingdom of David, Hosanna to the Son of David.” That was what was promised that had to happen at that time in the Coming of the Messiah; that would be a divine identification of the fulfillment to that which was prophesied concerning the Coming of the Messiah.
But Israel had to reject Him, it was already prophetically announced that it would be so in Psalm 22, therefore it had to be like that so He could carry out the Work of Redemption. That is why Jesus on the Cross, speaking of His people, Israel, of the Jews, says: “Father, forgive them for they know not what they do.”
They did not know the program of God for that moment, they did not know what they were doing, but they were fulfilling prophecy. But God forgives them, Christ forgives them, He asked forgiveness for Israel.
Therefore, no one should misjudge Israel, what God had said was being fulfilled, for the blessing of Israel and for the blessing of the Gentiles also, for the salvation of the human being, by carrying out that Work of Redemption. Him being the Lamb of God who would take away the sin of the world, so everything had to be fulfilled that way.
Do not blame Israel, never speak against Israel, because all that was foretold and had to be fulfilled for the blessing of Israel itself, of the Jewish people, for the blessing of the Jews and blessing of the Gentiles, a blessing that would go over from the Jews to the Gentiles, “for salvation (Christ says to the Samaritan woman), is of the Jews.”
And therefore, if salvation is of the Jews, then the Savior comes to bring salvation, not only for Jews but for Samaritans, and all the Gentiles, thereby giving an opportunity for salvation to the human beings and thus to open a gap wherein a new dispensation is opened: the Dispensation of Grace, which has lasted for about two thousand years, about two thousand years since the days of Pentecost until now, or since the days of the crucifixion of Christ until now.
We have already seen this mystery of who this Jesus is who came riding on a colt the foal of an ass, a little colt that no one had ridden on it, and with a crowd of followers who cried: “Hosanna to the King that cometh in the Name of the Lord, blessed is He that cometh in the Name of the Lord, blessed the coming Kingdom of David,” and so on. You can look for it in the Gospel of Matthew, Gospel of Mark, Gospel of Luke also, and you will find all that gathered together there.
And they said to Jesus: “Tell your disciples to be quiet,” and Jesus says: “If they keep quiet, the stones will cry for them,” that is, He did not rebuke them, what they were doing was what all Israel had to do at the time, crying: “Hosanna, blessed is He that cometh in the Name of the Lord, blessed is the coming Son of David,” and He had to come in that way.
But Israel was waiting for Him on a mighty white horse with a mighty army to deliver them from the Roman yoke, because they thought that the Coming of the Messiah at that time would be as King and it would be for the establishment of the Kingdom in those days.
But notice, He came in a very simple way because He had to carry out the Work of Redemption, He had to carry out the Work of Atonement for the sins of His people and of every human being, which is also in the feasts, in the Feast of the Passover is also found so, and the feast of Atonement of the tenth day of the seventh month of each year.
Now, Israel was waiting for the Messiah, as it was prophesied for His Second Coming, He was expected on a mighty white horse, with a mighty army, and He comes to them on a colt of an ass with a simple crowd crying: “Hosanna to Him that cometh in the Name Lord, blessed is the coming Son of David, blessed…,” and thus we find all that beautiful manifestation of the Coming: “Hosanna to the Son of David, blessed is He that cometh in the Name of the Lord, hosanna in the highest.”
Now, the first Coming of Christ was mysterious, although the prophecies were there witnessing what was going to happen. Notice also a Scripture, Isaiah, chapter 61, verse 1 onwards says: “The Spirit of the Lord GOD (it should say) I am, or the I AM, the words that God gave to Moses, or Elohim or the Lord) … The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;
To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn;
To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.”
It says so as far as we read in chapter 61, verse 1 to 3. But notice what happens here, it says “to preach the acceptable year of the LORD, and to preach the day of vengeance of our God.” Let’s see when Christ takes those words in Luke, chapter 4, verse 16 onwards, says:
“And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and stood up for to read.
And there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet Esaias. And when he had opened the book, he found the place where it was written,
The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.
And he closed the book, and he gave it again to the minister, and sat down. And the eyes of all them that were in the synagogue were fastened on him.
And he began to say unto them, This day is this scripture fulfilled in your ears.”
Up to where He read, that prophecy was being fulfilled, and why did He not continue reading? Because what then it said was: “And the day of vengeance of our God …” and the day of vengeance of our God was not to be preached by Jesus at His first Coming, it is to be proclaimed, preached, the day of vengeance of our God, at the Coming of the Lord to His Church in the Last Day, that is to be preached in His Second Coming in the midst of His Church in the Last Day. And also to make known to the Hebrew people, to the Jews, the message of the day of vengeance of our God being proclaimed in the Last Day.
In other words, to proclaim the divine judgment which is to come upon the human race, where God will avenge the blood of the righteous, the blood of believers in Judaism, in times past, the blood of the Jews that has been shed throughout the various persecutions that have taken place against the Jews, and it was crowned with the death of six million Jews slaughtered by Hitler and his army. All these persecutions were against the Jews, and we find that many Christians have died in these persecutions; and many Christians that were also Jews in the past.
Also the persecutions against the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, their blood that was shed in those times past, starting with the Blood of Christ, and also remember that it was the Romans who crucified Christ, and there is also the persecutions of Rome against the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, and also the persecutions throughout the history of Christianity against the believers in Christ.
The blood of all believers in Christ that was shed in all these persecutions, will be demanded in this end time from the kingdom of the Gentiles which is at the stage of the feet of iron and clay, and also the blood of all Jews, of all the Hebrews, who have been murdered, killed, at different stages in the history of the Jews.
Now, it is in the Last Day where the promise of the Coming of the Lord to the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ is going to be fulfilled, which is the One that is waiting for Him for the second time; and Philippians, chapter 3, verse 20 to 21 says:
“For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ:
Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.
“
For what purpose have the believers in Christ been waiting for the Coming of the Lord? For the transformation of the bodies of them that are alive, and for the resurrection of those who died in the past believing in Christ, to be resurrected in immortal bodies, eternal, glorified bodies, and the born-again believers in Christ will be transformed and then all the believers in Christ of the Last Day will all be in the image and likeness of Christ, because it is for the Last Day that Christ said that He will resurrect all believers in Him “And I will raise them up on the Last Day,” says Christ in John, chapter 6, verses 39 to 40, and Chapter 6, verses 41 to 58, and John, chapter 11, verses 21 to 27, when He was speaking to Martha, Lazarus’ sister.
Therefore, the resurrection is for the Last Day, and the Last Day before God is as a thousand years for the human beings, it is the seventh millennium from Adam until now, for as the last day of the week is the seventh day, it is the last day of the week, likewise the seventh millennium before God is the Last Day before God, “For one day before the Lord is as a thousand years and a thousand years as one day,” Second Peter, chapter 3, verse 8, and Psalm 90, verse 4.
So we can see where are we at this time, because we have already entered the seventh millennium from Adam until now, and we have entered the third millennium from Christ until now, the fifth millennium, sixth millennium and seventh millennium are the last days before God, which for the human beings are three millennia.
That’s why Peter and Paul speak of the Last Day and of the last days, for example, Paul in Hebrews chapter 1, verses 1 to 6, says:
“God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,
Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds.”
He did it through Him, and for whom? For Him, for Christ. He is the heir not only of Earth, but of the entire universe, all creation, and the believers in Christ are heirs with Christ, that’s why they are also kings, Christ is King of kings, and the believers in Christ are kings with Him, because the book of Revelation says, Chapter 1, Chapter 5 as well, and chapter 20, verse 4 to 6, that “Christ with His Blood has cleansed us from all sin and has made us unto our God kings and priests and we shall reign with Him.”
So the born-again believers in Christ that form the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ through the different stages of the Church, belong to the royalty, are members of the royalty, that’s why they are children of God, the King of Heaven and Earth, and the children of a king, well, they belong to the royalty, they are princes and princesses, that’s what the believers in Christ are to God, and they are members of that Kingdom, members of the royalty, they are also members of the heavenly priesthood Order of Melchizedek and heavenly Kingdom of Melchizedek, and are also of the heavenly Order of the judiciary.
Which is why Paul says that the saints shall judge the world and even the angels; there in Chapter 6 of First Corinthians is where Paul speaks that the saints will judge the world, chapter 6, verse 1 to 3.
So you see who the believers in Christ are, and also see who Jesus is. They knew Him as the prophet of Nazareth of Galilee, but He was more than that, He was the Prophet of all prophets, He was the One who prophesied through the prophets in His angelic body through veils of flesh, and then in His body of flesh He was also prophesying and preaching, it was God made flesh, veiled in human flesh, in Jesus, who entered into Jerusalem riding on a colt the foal of an ass, with a multitude that proclaimed Him the Son of David, the King, “Hosanna He that cometh in the Name of the Lord, blessed the coming Kingdom of David.”
Now, that’s already history, which we remember with fear and trembling, in gratitude to God for everything that happened there, and reverently we commemorate the triumphal entry, we commemorates what happened in that week, we commemorate the last supper, we commemorate the crucifixion, burial, and resurrection, then Christ’s ascension into Heaven forty days after His resurrection.
Now, all that is already history, and it teaches us that if we don’t watch, we will miss the blessings that He and for which He came and died on Calvary’s Cross to bring salvation and eternal Life to the human being, and we would also miss the blessing of being prepared for His Second Coming.
God deals with Israel as a nation, therefore, we see God dealing with Israel with physical things, but then we see Him dealing with His Church, which is the heavenly Israel, because they are born of Heaven, for the new birth is from Heaven, and Israel is a type and figure of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, Israel is the Church of God of the covenant that God established with His people on Mount Sinai, the ones taken out of Egypt, which means “Church” or “Church” means: “The drawn out.”
And in Israel, the Church of the old covenant, is reflected the Church of the new Covenant which is the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, there the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ is typified, in Israel under the Old Covenant, representing or typifying the Church that would be born under a new Covenant, which was born on the Day of Pentecost.
Therefore, the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ and the Church of the Old Testament under the covenant that God gave through the prophet Moses, they should not fight with each other, both are God’s people: one is heavenly and the other is earthly. As simple as that. Therefore, in the heavenly one we will see things happening in the spiritual realm.
And now, we have the promise for the Last Day of the Coming of the Lord, and it will be parallel to what the Coming of our Lord two thousand years ago on a colt was, a colt the foal of an ass, but for the second Coming the promise is that He will come on a white horse; and since Christ deals with His Church in the spiritual realm, then let’s see some things that we cannot ignore. Since there was a forerunner for the first Coming, for the Second Coming must be another, for the first was John the Baptist, and that is history, and the one that came thereafter was Jesus Christ.
For the second Coming of Christ it is required for the people to be prepared and must see a man forerunning the Second Coming of Christ, speaking of things he will do and how they will happen; as John, he said that after him, after him a greater One than himself would come, of whom he was not worthy to untie the latchet of His shoes, he said: “He will baptize with the Holy Spirit and Fire,” also when he saw Jesus, he said: “Behold the Lamb of God that takes away the sin of the world,” and he showed what He was coming for: as Lamb to take away the sin of the world, and he showed that He would baptize with the Holy Spirit and Fire those who would believe in Him, and showed that the greater one would not be the forerunner, but the One that was foreran.
John was great, would be great says the Angel Gabriel to Zechariah the priest, that that son that would be born to Zechariah and his wife Elizabeth would be great before God, because a prophet sent by God is great in the sight of God, and if he is a forerunner of the Coming of the Lord, either to the first or second Coming, is great, is greater than all the other prophets, because he foreruns the Lord’s Coming.
And now we cannot miss the blessing of seeing who is the forerunner of the Second Coming of Christ, because back there those who lost sight of who was the forerunner of the First Coming of Christ, they missed the Coming of the Messiah.
And now, Christ identified him, Christ then said … John said of Jesus that He was greater, He who was coming after him, the Messiah, and then Jesus said of John: “Of those born of women there has not risen one greater than John, this is Elijah who was to come” (John, chapter 11, verses 9 to 15). John testified of Jesus, and Jesus testified of John.
Now, notice what the Rev. William Branham says, speaking about the second Coming of Christ in the book of “Quotations,” page 119 [Spanish], paragraph 1058, (English) page 242 second paragraph, says:
“I may be building a platform for somebody else to step on. I may be taken before that time
(as John was preparing Him a platform, preparing the way for the Lord, the Rev. William Branham here is saying that he is preparing a platform) . . . But I do believe that we are so close, that I would never die with old age. Yet at 54 years old, I would never die with old age until He is here. Unless I am shot, killed, or something, or other, some way killed—just old age wouldn’t kill me, until He comes.
Until He is here, whom he is preparing the way to, is here, until Him, whom he is preparing a platform for, is here; as they prepare a platform for politicians, another one comes preparing the way to the politicians, and for him to have a well prepared platform and him … and he introduces him: “This is the candidate we have.” Now, if he says he would not die of old age without Him being present, to whom he is preparing the way, then he thought, he believed, that if he would not die because of an accident, he would not die of old age without Him being present, and that’s very important to know. But he continues:
“Unless I am shot, killed, or something, or other, some way killed—just old age wouldn’t kill me, until He comes.”
And he left, not of old age, but because of a car accident, unexpected by all who heard the message of the Rev. William Branham as a forerunner of the Second Coming of Christ. No one expected that John the Baptist would die either, much less in the way he died: beheaded; John the Baptist did not expect to die like that either, that’s why when he is imprisoned in jail sends two of his disciples to ask Jesus, he says to them: “Go and ask if He is the one who would come, or should we look for another.” In other words, if He was the Messiah or should they expect another one.
The best thing John said of Jesus was: “This is Him of whom I said that after me one greater than I would come, this is Him of whom I gave testimony that would come after me,” that was the greatest thing that John could say, “This is the Lamb who takes away the sin of the world, this is Him coming after me,” but the worst thing he could say was: “Go and ask Jesus if He is the one to come, or should we look for another.” And the greatest thing that Jesus said of John was “This is that Elijah, this is Elijah who would come, this is the Elijah that was to come, if you want to receive him.”
In other words, Jesus was not angry because John sent to ask Him that question, He said to them: “Go and tell John …” after He healed the sick, opened the eyes to the blind, cast out demons, He tells John’s disciples: “Go and tell John that the deaf hear, the blind see, the lame walk, the dead are raised, go and tell that to John, “because John had to know which things the Messiah would be doing at His first Coming.
And now, will the forerunner know which things the Messiah has to do at His second Coming, just as John the Baptist had to know which things would the Messiah be doing at His first Coming? Of course, indeed, that’s why he has to come saying the things He is going to do, things that God will do after the forerunner, the things God will do through the Messiah. He continues:
“Just old age wouldn’t kill me, until He comes… I may not do it, but this Message will introduce Jesus Christ to the World.”
The message, that which he had to speak, he already spoke it and it was recorded and printed, therefore, reading, listening to the tapes or reading what the forerunner of the Second Coming of Christ, the Rev. William Branham said, is to be hearing him as though he was present:
“And John said, ‘Behold the Lamb of God that takes away the sin of the world.’ So it paralleled it in every way, and I know it will.”
It will be parallel in every way. Now, we can see that something great will happen after the departure of the forerunner of the Second Coming of Christ, and all that which will happen will be as a mystery, because the first Coming of Christ was promised in the Scripture, and many details: where would He come from, where would He be born: in Bethlehem of Judea, He would be of the offspring of King David, would come through a virgin descendant of King David and so on.
But about the Second Coming of Christ we find many prophecies, but very few details to identify how, when and where and how will He come, He will come from Heaven; but the details of His Coming to His Church, all that is within the Seventh Seal of Revelation Chapter 8, verse 1 onwards, and there was silence in Heaven for about half an hour, but everything will be in simplicity.
The Seventh Seal and in the Seventh Seal is everything related to the Coming of the Lord to His Church in His Second Coming. And because Christ deals with His Church in the spiritual realm and one enters the Kingdom of Christ in the spiritual realm, and thereafter when we have the new, eternal and glorified body, we will physically enter the Kingdom of Christ, and when we will be on Earth with Him in the Millennial Kingdom, we will literally be in the Kingdom of Christ with glorified bodies and with a double portion: the portion of the new birth in the spiritual realm and the physical portion of the physical, eternal, immortal, incorruptible and glorified body, as the glorified body of Jesus Christ.
And for the believers in Christ we have Revelation, chapter 19, where a white horse rider appears, which is Christ, is called: “The Word of God,” the very Word of God that was made flesh two thousand years ago, He now comes on a white horse, He does not come on a donkey, does not come on a colt, the foal of an ass, He comes on a white horse.
And we will see how will He make the triumphal entrance as He made it among the Jews in the earthly Jerusalem; the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ is the heavenly Jerusalem, they are all members of the heavenly Jerusalem for their citizenship is in Heaven, “but ye are not come unto the mount that might be touched, but ye are come unto Mount Zion, the heavenly Jerusalem,” says Paul, let’s see here to have it as Paul says in chapter 12 of Hebrews, verse 22 onwards:
“But ye are come unto mount Zion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels,
To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven…”
The first-born are the believers in Christ born again, written in Heaven in the Lamb’s Book of Life. Remember that Christ said to His disciples when He had sent them to preach and cast out demons and to heal the sick and raise the dead, when they return, are very glad, very happy and say to Jesus: “Lord, even the spirits are subject unto us in Your Name,” in other words, they cast them out in the Name of the Lord, and came out. Christ says: “Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, rejoice that your names are written in Heaven.”
“And to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect…”
The spirits of just men made perfect are the angelic bodies of believers in Christ which are called the angel of each person. Remember when Peter was delivered from jail and knocked on the door where they were praying for him in the house of Mark, a young girl named Rhoda went to open the door, and out of joy she did not open the door, hearing that it was Peter and goes back where they are praying for him, to the others who were in the house, and says to them: “It is Peter who knocks on the door,” they say: “Rhoda, you’re crazy, it is his angel,” but they go, and when they open the door, it was Peter.
It is that they knew that every believer in Christ has his angel, his angelic body, and when a person dies, he continues to live in his angelic body similar to our physical body but from another dimension, and young. And now:
“And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel.”
Here we can see that we have come to where? To Mount Zion, which is, the City of the living God: the heavenly Jerusalem, from whence do we look for the Lord? From Heaven, from the heavenly Jerusalem, where is the baptism of the Holy Spirit from? From Heaven, from the heavenly Jerusalem; it is not something earthly but heavenly.
And now, I said that Revelation, chapter 19, verse 11 onwards, says, that the white horse rider comes with a Name written that no one knows, we are going to read it:
“And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.
His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.”
What can that Name be? The Name of God, the Name of the rider who comes in the white horse, and if no one knew It, then it is not the name Jesus. Christ says that the overcomer … He says, for you to have a clear picture of the mystery of the Name, of that Name, chapter 3, verse 12 of Revelation, verses 11 to 12, says:
“Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.
Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God
(He is going to write upon the overcomer the Name of His God), and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name.”
It is Christ who says He has a New Name, who dares to argue that He does not have It?, And He comes in a white horse with a New Name that no one knows, it is with that Name with which He is going to reveal Himself to His Church in the Last Day, and He is coming for His Church, when the Jews see Him coming for His Church and see Him doing the things that are promised that He will do at His Coming, the Jews will say: “This is the one we are waiting for.” But He does not come for them; He comes for His Church to take her away in the rapture, the catching away, to go to the Wedding Supper of the Lamb.
Then there will come three and a half of feast in Heaven, the Marriage Supper of the Lamb, and then Christ will return with His Church to Earth to begin the Millennial Kingdom, in other words, one needs to know the difference between what will be the Coming of the Lord to His Church, and what will then be the Coming of the Lord to the Hebrew people at the end of the great tribulation to establish the Kingdom of God.
There is a mystery there that should not be opened yet. Now for the Church let’s see how the coming of the white horse rider of Revelation, chapter 19, will be. In page [273] of the Spahish book, (307) English book, let’s see what the forerunner of the second Coming of Christ said, because he is the one who knows how it shall be. Page [273] of the book “Seals” in Spanish, (307) in English it says, look carefully, it says:
“But when our Lord appears here on earth, He’ll be riding on a snow-white horse. And He’ll be completely, fully, Emmanuel, the Word of God incarnate in a Man.”
It’s not a literal horse. A horse is a power, He comes upon the power of the pure Word of God. Then we will continue because as He came upon a colt literally, He will now come upon a spiritual horse, that horse represents the pure Word of God, a power, upon the power of the pure Word of God. Page 55 [Spanish] 26 (English) paragraph 231 of the message: “Evangelism at the end time,” paragraph 231 says:
“And it looks like it’s pretty weak now for both message and messenger.”
That stage is very important, just as was that stage when Christ presented Himself in that Holy Week:
“But don’t worry. Somewhere, I don’t know, but I am trusting in Him, He will come riding on the scene some day. Don’t worry, we will be together. He will come riding on the scene some day, somewhere.”
Let’s see a bit more, because whoever misses that which will be happening at the end time, will have missed the blessing as many missed it at the first Coming. In the message: “God’s only provided way of worship,” it says in page 13 [Spanish]:
“Now, I was…getting pretty old, and thought, will there be another revival
(in other words, as it has taken place from stage to stage, from age to age)…will there be another revival, will I see another time? And just remember, from the West a rider will come on a white horse. We will ride this trail again. As soon as we are ready (or prepared. As soon as we are ready or almost ready). It’s a promise, see.”
And now, following the trajectory of those prophecies, now he identifies that it will be in the West, in the East He came on a little donkey. The cycle of the coming of the forerunner and of the Coming of the One which the forerunner prepared the way to, at that time, had come; and at the end of the ministry He had to fulfill the Work of Redemption, the purpose for which He came for, which was the most important thing of all the things He had to carry out at His Coming; He had come with a commission: to die for His sheep, He said: “No one takes my life, I lay it down on my own, to take it again, this commandment have I received of my Father” (John, chapter 10, verses 14 to 18).
So Jesus knew what He had come for, and He knew that He had to carry it out, and He knew that it was there in the East, the land of Israel, which is in the Middle East. But now the Church has moved, the Gospel has moved with the sun and as the sun, from East to West; and now we are in the West being prepared for the second Coming of Christ, which will be the Word, the Lord coming in the fulfillment of His promise upon the power of the pure Word, represented in a white horse, because an animal a beast represents power. And He has as Name; the Word of God; therefore, It is the Word of God that will be made flesh in the Last Day, and the Word is the Angel of the Covenant, It is the Holy Spirit.
The reverend William Branham says: “We will ride this trail again,” because Elijah in his fourth manifestation then at the end time the ministry of Elijah will have its fifth manifestation, and there is where He comes riding, in that manifestation which is promised for the Last Day: “we shall ride this trail,” upon what? On that white horse of the pure Word of God.
How will the Messiah be known when He comes? He will always be within the Word of God, bringing His Word, in other words, everything that will be fulfilled, will be according to that which was promised, and He will come for His Church and consequently He will give Her faith to be changed and carried with Him to the Wedding Supper of the Lamb.
And we will leave it there, and we will continue on other occasion, you already know what the coming on a white horse means: He comes, riding upon the power of the pure Word, and all that mystery will be open in this end time as it has been promised.
God will open that mystery, and around that mystery, when it opens, will rotate the faith, the revelation, to be transformed and brought with Christ to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb, just as to receive faith for the inner spiritual transformation of the new birth, that faith revolves around the first Coming of Christ as the Lamb of God, who also came riding on a colt the foal of an ass in His triumphant entry into Jerusalem.
And now, the spiritual Jerusalem, Jerusalem is the Church the Lord Jesus Christ in the Last Day, He shall come to His Church in the Last Day. We already saw that it is very important to understand these symbols so that the time and fulfillment of the Second Coming of Christ for the Last Day will not go over our heads at the precise moment to be changed and taken with Christ to the Wedding Supper of the Lamb. We have to be waiting for Him according to the Word.
We have already seen that it will be in the West, there shall be light in the evening time, and the evening corresponds, to where? To the West, where the sun sets. And now, which is the West? the East is the Middle East where Israel is, in Israel was fulfilled, down in the East, was fulfilled the first Coming of Christ.
The West is the American continent and the Americas has North America, where the seventh age was fulfilled, and it has Latin America which also corresponds to the West, and from the West a rider on a white horse will come.
Where will that promised manifestation be? In the West. “As the lightning comes from the East, and shines from the East to the West (in the West it is shining), so shall also the Coming of the Son of Man be,” it is in the West where the Son of Man will shine on a white horse, coming on the pure Word, the power of the pure Word of God.
So, we will then set our sight in the West, which is the American continent, where the final stage of the Church will be taking place. When we see all these things, the signs He said, taking place, let’s lift up our heads for our redemption is near.
And now, if it was important the coming of Jesus to Jerusalem on a colt of an ass riding, and all His disciples and others that joined them crying: “Hosanna to the King that cometh in the Name of the Lord, blessed is He that cometh in the Name of the Lord, blessed is the Son of David, blessed is the coming Kingdom of David,” How much more important will it also be, not only to see and believe on that triumphal entry of Christ into Jerusalem, but also to be alert to see and believe in the Coming of the Lord to His Church upon the power of the pure Word, upon the white horse of Revelation 19, and on this powerful horse in which the Lord will come from the West.
The West is the site that has the promise, as we have seen, the promise for the Last Day is in the West, therefore, we join what was the first Coming of Christ and Christ’s triumphant entry into Jerusalem on a small donkey, and we put that together with that which has to happen in this end time, we have to put together the first and second Coming of Christ; the first and the second Coming, the second Coming will be parallel to the First Coming of Christ, a forerunner and the one to whom the forerunner is preparing the way to. The same.
And now, for you to have a little more: page 155 in Spanish, paragraph 1383, we can also find in another place, it say on page 315 in English, sixth paragraph, (Quotations Book):
“Oh, there will be a true former and latter rain …”
See? The Former Rain and Latter Rain are linked, the teaching of the first Coming of Christ through the preaching of the Gospel of Christ, the Gospel of Grace, and the Latter Rain is linked to the teaching of the Second Coming of Christ, the teaching for the Last Day under the preaching of the Gospel of the Kingdom, the Second Coming of Christ, under the preaching of the Gospel of the Kingdom will be preached the Second Coming of Christ and all the details concerning that Coming.
And around the second Coming of Christ it is that the resurrection of the dead and the transformation of them which are alive takes place, because for that purpose is the Second Coming of Christ promised:
“For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ:
Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.”
Philippians, chapter 3, verses 20 to 21.
That’s what we expect the Lord in His Second Coming for: for our transformation, the resurrection of the dead in Christ and the rapture to go to the Wedding Supper of the Lamb:
“Oh, there will be a true former and latter rain in the last days upon that little group that come with Him on this little donkey, lowly and humble, without a denomination, crying: ‘Hosanna to the King that comes in the Name of the Lord.”
Those who will come with Him in that great manifestation on the Last Day, will be the believers in Christ; the believers in Christ of the Last Day will receive Him and will act, will cry, as did the believers in Christ who accompanied Him towards the city of Jerusalem when He was on that colt, the foal of an ass, into Jerusalem.
In other words, there is a great promise, and the greatest promise is the Second Coming of Christ for the Last Day, because He comes for His Church to take Her to the Wedding Supper of the Lamb. Therefore, He comes in His Reclaiming Work for to claim back what He has redeemed with His Blood and to carry Her (His Church) to the Wedding Supper of the Lamb .
Today Palm Sunday: “CHRIST’S TRIUMPHANT ENTRY FOR THE SALVATION OF THE WORLD,” that was our topic for today, and the question was: Who is This? We already saw who is Jesus Christ in His first Coming with the Name of salvation: Jesus, in Spanish, Jesus, in English, and there, as Yoshua in Hebrew.
So now the question is … He says He comes, The Scripture says that that rider who is the Word that was with God comes, the Word, His Name is the Word, and brings a Name that no one understands: The Word of God. Therefore, what will be the Name that He will have, and with which the Word will come, in the Last Day?, It will be the eternal Name of God, the Name of the City of our God and New Name of the Lord Jesus Christ.
And when that promise is fulfilled in all its fullness, then … and the mystery is opened, that mystery hidden in the Seventh Seal when it opens, then we will know that Name and details of that Name.
Everything has to be scriptural, it cannot be human invention, but rather it has to be what is promised in the Word of God. Everyone will have the Name of God in their minds, on their foreheads, and in their hearts, they will know It. Jacob wanted to know the Name of the Angel, Manoah desired It, everyone has desired to know the Name. The Name of salvation was Jesus, and all who have known and have believed in It, have believed in His Name, have received eternal Life.
And now His second Coming will be for our transformation and the resurrection of the dead of past ages, so we will see Him, as He came, entered into Jerusalem on a colt the foal of an ass, we will see Him in the spiritual realm, coming for His Church on the white horse of the pure and mighty Word of God, that pure and mighty Word being manifested.
And the question of the people, of the world, will be again: “Who is this?” but the believers will know as the believers who were crying: “Hosanna He that cometh in the Name of the Lord,” they knew who Jesus was. Peter said: “Thou are the Christ, the Son of the living God, we believe that You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” says Martha, the sister of Lazarus.
And likewise the different apostles believed, Thomas once said: ” My Lord and my God “that was when Jesus said to him … Thomas said:” If I do not touch and put my finger into His wounds, I will not believe, “Jesus calls him, appears to him and calls him, says to him: “Thomas, come, put your hand, your finger here, and do not be faithless.”
So, something great is fixing to come from God related to the Coming of the Lord to His Church for this end time, which is His Church, the heavenly Jerusalem, the spiritual Jerusalem as a Church and belongs to the City of God, the heavenly Jerusalem, members of the heavenly Jerusalem, there is where the names of the born-again believers in Christ are written, as your earthly birth is written in the country where you were born, because the physical birth is earthly, it is written in the country where you were born, and as the new birth, the new birth is heavenly, it is written in the heavenly Jerusalem.
May the blessings of Christ, the Angel of the Covenant, be upon you all and me too, and may this Easter be of great blessing for all believers in Christ in all countries in the world, and may the activities that will be taking place in the Great Tent-Cathedral of Puerto Rico, may be of great blessing for all ministers and their congregations that later on will be watching, waiting for the recordings, and will also be listening to the activities.
And may the faith of all believers in Christ of all the countries, may it grow to such a level that they may be changed and brought by Christ to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb, because before everything becomes more difficult on this planet Earth, we want for Christ to take us with Him to the Wedding Supper of the Lamb, because as things are going around the world in every nation, things are getting worse every day, and when they become like that, we always find that a war occurs.
We will not speak of that at the moment, but a third world war will take place, therefore we do not want to go through that time, we want to be carried with Christ to the Wedding Supper of the Lamb as soon as possible. Third World War, well, may it remain for the great tribulation.
We want to go with Christ as soon as possible to the Wedding Supper of the Lamb, for which we must be prepared with knowledge of the divine promises, and being aware of what God is doing in our time and getting ready, our lives devoted to Christ, homes devoted to Christ and everything in order, the churches and ministers and all the congregations devoted to Christ, everyone getting ready, everyone being prepared for the Coming of the Lord, for the transformation and rapture of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ.
We are very close, very close for the fulfillment of these events, and we must be prepared by knowing the Scriptures, “search the Scriptures, for in them ye think ye have eternal life and they are they which testify of me,” says Christ to those who heard Him at that time and did not agree with Him.
The Scriptures are the ones that testified of the first Coming of Christ, and it is the Scriptures that have to testify of the Second Coming of Christ. The first and second Coming of Christ have to be fulfilled according to the Scriptures, not according to human ideas, but to the Scriptures that speak of the Coming of the Lord as Lamb first, and then as a Lion.
If there is someone who has not yet received Christ as Savior, you can do it right now and we will be praying for you, because until the last one written in Heaven in the Book of Life of the Lamb enters in, Christ cannot leave the Throne of Intercession and cannot fulfill everything related to the Second Coming of Christ, and therefore He cannot fulfill the resurrection of the dead in Christ and the transformation of them who are alive and the rapture of the Church.
Therefore, if there is someone who has not yet received Christ, you may come forward and we will be praying for you, and in other countries you can also do the same. There are only a few lacking to enter the Kingdom of Christ, to become part of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ and at any moment the Church of the Lord Jesus Chris will be completed. That’s why the preaching of the Gospel of Christ continues, the Gospel of our salvation, for everyone to hear, for faith in Christ to be born in their soul and to believe in Christ and receive Him as only and sufficient Savior.
In these days bring your family too, because a family member may be the last missing to complete the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ. Extend the invitation, giving a pamphlet and an invitation if there is any written invitation, so that God may speak to him or her in the heart, and if he or she is one of the ones missing to complete the Church, may Christ call him or call her and may the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ be completed, because we cannot leave this earth without the last elect having entered in, until the last one becomes part of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ.
We will stand on our feet to give thanks to God and pray for people in different nations who are receiving Christ as only and sufficient Savior right now. With our hands raised to Christ, to Heaven and our eyes closed:
Heavenly Father, I come to You in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ and bring before Your presence all the people who are now receiving Christ as only and sufficient Savior. I beg You receive them in Your Kingdom. In the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ I pray.
And now everyone who has come to the Feet of Christ right now in different places, different countries, repeat after me this prayer:
Lord Jesus Christ, I heard the preaching of Your Gospel and Your faith was born in my heart. I believe in You with all my heart, I believe in Your first Coming, I believe in Your death on the Cross of Calvary as the Sacrifice of Atonement for my sins and for the sins of every human being.
I give public testimony of my faith in You and receive You as my only and sufficient Savior believing and recognizing that there is no other Name under Heaven given among men whereby we must be saved.
Lord, I beg You to forgive my sins and cleanse me with Your Blood from all sin and baptize me with Holy Spirit and Fire after I am baptized in water in Your Name and may You produce in me the new birth.
I want to born in Your Kingdom, I want to be born in the heavenly Jerusalem, I want to be born in Your Mystical Body of believers as a member of Your Church, of Your Mystical Body, of Your Spiritual Temple. Lord, make a reality in my life the salvation You purchased for me on the Cross of Calvary. I pray in Your eternal and glorious Name, Lord Jesus Christ. Amen and amen.
With our hands raised to Christ, to Heaven, we all say: The Blood of the Lord Jesus Christ has cleansed me from all sin! The Blood of the Lord Jesus Christ has cleansed me from all sin! The Blood of the Lord Jesus Christ has cleansed me from all sin! Amen.
Those who have come to the Feet of Christ right now, they will say to me: “I want to be baptized in water as soon as possible,” for Christ said: “He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved: but he that believeth not shall be damned.” And the question is: “When can I be baptized?” inasmuch as you have believed in Christ with all your heart, those who have come to the Feet of Christ right now, you may be baptized and may Christ baptize you with the Holy Spirit and Fire and produce in you the new birth.
Water baptism does not take away sins; it is the Blood of Christ that cleanses us from all sin. But water baptism is typological, is in the likeness of the death, burial and resurrection of Christ.
When a person receives Christ as Savior, he dies to the world. And when the minister immerses him in the baptismal waters, typologically is being buried. And when he is raised from the waters of baptism, he is being resurrected to a new life: unto eternal Life with Christ in His eternal Kingdom. As simple as that is the symbolism of water baptism in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Christ Himself was baptized by John, but John did not want to baptize Him, saying: “I have need of being baptized by you, do you come to me so I baptize you?” Jesus says to him: “It becometh us to fulfill all righteousness,” and then he baptized Him, and then when he baptized Him and was raised thereafter from the baptismal waters, the Holy Spirit came upon Him like a dove, and It rested upon Him and It remained upon Him.
That’s the way established to enable the person to be baptized with the Holy Spirit, first to receive Christ as Savior and be baptized in water in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, that’s what people asked Peter: “Men and brethren, what shall we do?” Peter says to them: “Repent and be baptized every one of you in the Name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.”
There the apostle Peter shows that people have first to be baptized in water in the Name of the Lord, and then Christ will baptize them with the Holy Spirit and Fire. As simple as that is the symbolism of water baptism in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, and if Christ had to be baptized to fulfill all righteousness, how much more us.
You may well be baptized and may Christ baptize you with the Holy Spirit and Fire and produce in you the new birth and we will continue to see each other eternally in the Kingdom of Christ, young people in eternal glorified bodies.
May you all continue spending a happy evening, filled with the blessings of Christ our Savior, and remember, Friday during the day the service, the Rev. Jose Benjamin Perez will repeat for you the activities on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and the time as well.
May God bless you and I leave you with the Rev. Jose Benjamin Perez, God bless and keep you all. And we will meet here on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
“CHRIST’S TRIUMPHAL ENTRY FOR THE SALVATION OF THE WORLD.”
