Good morning, beloved brethren and friends present here in Quevedo, Ecuador. It is a great privilege for me to be with you this morning (What time do we have there, Benjie?), at 8:25 in the morning, to share with you some moments of fellowship around the Word of God and His Program relevant to this end time.
Receive greetings from our brother Bermudez. For this occasion we are going to have a topic that he placed for you; it is the topic: “THE BLESSING OF WALKING WITH GOD.”
And to see that blessing that there is in walking with God we will read the condensed story of one who walked with God, named Enoch, and it is found in Genesis, chapter 5, verses 21 to 24, where it says:
“And…”
This was the son… Enoch, son of Jared. He says:
“And Enoch lived sixty and five years, and begat Methuselah (that is, he fathered the man who lived the longest, who lived 969 years):
And Enoch walked with God after he begat Methuselah three hundred years, and begat sons and daughters:
And all the days of Enoch were three hundred sixty and five years:
And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him.”
And Saint Paul tells us in chapter 11 of his letter to the Hebrews… chapter 11 of his letter to the Hebrews, Saint Paul speaks to us; let’s see verse 5 (it is one of them). He says:
“By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation (that is, raptured) he had this testimony, that he pleased God.
But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.”
May God bless His Word in our souls and allow us to understand It.
“THE BLESSING OF WALKING WITH GOD.”
In Enoch we can see the blessing that there is in walking with God. And Enoch, being type and figure of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, let’s see the great blessings that Christ has for all who walk with Him.
The Church of the Lord Jesus Christ as Mystical Body was born on the Day of Pentecost in Jerusalem, and has been walking with God from age to age. And it is a great privilege and blessing for the Church of Jesus Christ to walk with God, to walk with Christ, and it has the promise for the Last Day to be taken by God; she will be taken by God to the House of our heavenly Father.
Christ said in chapter 14 of the Gospel according to John: “In my Father’s house there are many mansions; therefore I go…” If it were not so, it says that He would have said it before, it says… Let’s read it directly here: Chapter 14, verse 1 and on, it says, of John:
“Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.
In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again (that is, His Second Coming), and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.
Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way?
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”
Here, the way to the House of our heavenly Father, the way to the heavenly Father, is Jesus Christ; and by believing in our beloved Lord Jesus Christ and washing our sins in the Blood of Christ and receiving His Spirit, we are walking toward the House of our heavenly Father. That is the Path by which we must walk to reach the House of our heavenly Father, the Marriage Supper of the Lamb.
Just as Enoch walked with God, and God led him not to see death, so will Christ take His Church one of these days, which has been walking with Christ, with God, since she was born on the Day of Pentecost; and for this end time He will take her to the House of our heavenly Father, to the House of God, just as Enoch walked with God and God took him away, He raptured him.
And now, the Church of Jesus Christ has the promise of being raptured for the end time; and each individual who has walked with Jesus Christ in the age he has been given to live, having believed in Christ as his Savior and having washed his sins in the Blood of Christ and having received His Spirit, has the promise to be taken by God, through Jesus Christ, to the House of our heavenly Father, in the rapture or catching away of the members of the Mystical Body of Jesus Christ, which make up the Church of Jesus Christ.
And now, notice, in the seventh stage of the Church comes that moment where Christ tells His Church, in Revelation, chapter 4, verse 1… With that powerful Voice of Trumpet, look at how He calls His Church; it says here:
“After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter.”
The call of Christ to go up, that is a spiritual rapture for the Church of Jesus Christ and all those who make up His Church for this end time, where they are called to go up from the seventh age to the Age of the Cornerstone, which is the eternal age of the Church of Jesus Christ, represented in the number eight; because eight represents eternity.
And it is in the Eternal Age of the Cornerstone where the Voice of Christ in this Last Day, in this end time, would be speaking to His Church and to all who make up His Church.
And by going up to the Age of the Cornerstone, the Church of Jesus Christ has ascended, has passed into an eternal age, in which it is currently found; that is, she has been raptured from the temporary ages and ages that have already passed: she has passed into the Eternal Age of the Cornerstone; and its members as individuals have had a spiritual rapture, and soon that rapture will materialize into a literal rapture, wherein we will be transformed and taken to the House of our heavenly Father.
All that He is doing in the spiritual realm will materialize in all the members of the Mystical Body of Christ, and we will arrive at the Marriage Supper of the Lamb, at the House of our heavenly Father, in this end time.
Now, notice, the Church of Jesus Christ, which has been walking with Christ from age to age, now look where she is in this end time: she is walking with Christ in the Age of the Cornerstone and listening to His Voice; and being prepared to be transformed and raptured in this Last Day, to have a literal rapture of all her members, both of those who have departed in the past ages, which will be resurrected in eternal bodies, and we who are alive will be transformed.
Notice the great blessing of walking with God.
Walking with Christ we are walking with God, because “in the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God”</em>; and it says: “And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us.” The Word who was with God and was God, became flesh and dwelt among human beings, and was known by the name of Jesus Christ.
So Jesus Christ is the same God clothed in human flesh, made man among human beings. To walk with Jesus Christ is to walk with God.
And now, notice the great blessing that there is for the Church of Jesus Christ, which has been walking with God, with Jesus Christ, from stage to stage, in other words, every day of her life. And that has been so because from age to age Christ, just as in the Garden of Eden visited the human being day after day and spoke with him, Christ from day to day, from age to age (days of ages), has visited His Church through His manifestation in human flesh in the angel messenger of each age.
And He has had fellowship with His Church and has spoken to His Church words of eternal life, and He has called and gathered the members of His Church of every age, calling them with His loving Voice through the messenger of every age and thus fulfilling the words that He said in John, chapter 10 [verse 14]:
“I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine.
As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep.
And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.”
And Christ has been calling and gathering His sheep; and His sheep have been hearing His Voice and have been placed in the Fold of the Lord, which is His Church (that Fold, that Flock of the Lord: the Church of Jesus Christ), for all those sheep have been born in the Mystical Body of Christ, by believing in Christ as our Savior and washing our sins in the Blood of Christ and receiving His Spirit. Thus we were born in the House of God, in other words, in the Flock or Fold of the Lord.
From age to age the sheep of Christ —written in the Lamb’s Book of Life since before the foundation of the world— have heard the Voice of Christ, the Good Shepherd, through the messenger of each age, whom God has sent and through whom Jesus Christ in Holy Spirit has been manifested speaking to His sheep and calling them and placing them in His Flock, which is His Church.
And now, notice how from age to age the Church of Jesus Christ has been hearing the Voice of the Good Shepherd, the Voice of Christ, and has been walking with Christ from age to age.
And now, for this end time, Christ calls and gathers His sheep of the Last Day and the Age of the Cornerstone, and we walk with Christ in the Age of the Cornerstone for all eternity; because walking with Christ in the Age of the Cornerstone will bring us the transformation of our bodies and the resurrection of the dead in Christ, and Christ will take us to the House of our heavenly Father.
So, like Enoch, who walked with God… It says: “And God took him.” Saint Paul says: “And God took him, that he might not see death”, in other words, he raptured him and took him away.
And that is why, for the Last Day the members of the Mystical Body of Christ, who are ordained to not see death, will be walking with Christ; and Christ will take them away when He transforms our bodies and we have the eternal body; and the dead in Christ will also be taken by Christ to the House of our heavenly Father when He resurrects them in eternal bodies, because they walked with Christ in the age they lived.
And now, look, Enoch. Enoch, Judas says (not Iscariot, but this other Judas and brother of James), says in his letter (which has only one chapter, chapter 1), tells us something about Enoch, it says [verse 14]:
“And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints,
To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him (that is, against Christ).”
Now, here he speaks of the Second Coming of Christ, here Judas, the brother of James, speaks to us, and he tells us that Enoch prophesied of the Coming of the Lord with His tens of thousands.
And also in Daniel, chapter 7, it tells us of His Coming; chapter 7, verse 9 to 10 says:
“I beheld till the thrones were cast down, and the Ancient of days did sit, whose garment was white as snow, and the hair of his head like the pure wool: his throne was like the fiery flame, and his wheels as burning fire.
A fiery stream issued and came forth from before him: thousand thousands ministered unto him, and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him: the judgment was set, and the books were opened.”
This is the same thing that the book of Revelation says in the chapter (let’s see here)… Chapter 20, verse 4 and on, it says:
“And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.
Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.”
These are the ones who have walked with Christ from age to age. These are the members of the Mystical Body of Christ, the elect of God, the firstborn of God, written in Heaven, in the Lamb’s Book of Life.
In Revelation, chapter 19, we find Him, Christ, the Angel of the Covenant, coming on a white horse, and it says [verse 11]:
“And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.
His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.
And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God (that is, He is the Angel of the Covenant, the Angel of the Lord, Jesus Christ coming in Holy Spirit).
And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.”
There we have that mighty Army with which He comes. He comes with His holy tens of thousands, He comes with millions, as it says here, who will sit on those thrones; and those are the ones who receive the power to judge, because those are the firstborn of God who will judge with Christ, will rule with Christ, will reign with Christ during the Millennial Kingdom and for all eternity. Those are the ones who have walked with Christ from age to age, through the trajectory of the Church of Jesus Christ, where Christ has been manifested through the messenger of each stage or age of His Church.
And Christ being manifested in each age, we find Him speaking to His Church through the messenger of each age, and the elect of God walking with Christ manifested in the messenger of each age; and with the last manifestation of Christ we will go to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb, when the number of God’s elect is completed.
Let’s see what the Coming of this white horse Rider of Revelation 19 is. On page 131 of the book of The Seals in Spanish the forerunner of the Second Coming of Christ says1:
“And, Jesus, His Name on earth was ‘Redeemer,’ Jesus. When He was on earth, He was the Redeemer, that’s true. But when He conquered death and hell, and overcome them, and ascended on High, He received a new Name. That’s the reason you holler the way they do, and they don’t get nothing. It’ll be revealed in the Thunders.
Uh-huh. See? Notice the mysteries. He is coming, riding… There’s got to be Something to change this Church. You know that. There’s got to be Something. Notice, ‘No man knowed, but Himself.’ Now, notice, ‘No man knowed, but Hisself.’
‘And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name was called The Word of God.
Oh, my! Notice!
‘And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.
And out of his mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he tread the winepress of the fierceness and the wrath of Almighty God.
And he had on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.’
Revelation 19:13-16
There comes the Messiah. There He is.”
And now we read on page 256 of the book of The Seals in Spanish, where it says2:
“But when our Lord appears here on earth, He’ll be riding on a snow-white horse. And He’ll be completely, fully, the Emmanuel, the Word of God incarnate in a Man.”
That is the Coming of the white horse Rider of Revelation 19, it is the Coming of the Angel of the Covenant, of the Angel of the Lord, called the Word of God, because “in the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God”, and that Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we knew Him by the name of Jesus; because in that veil of flesh in which was the Angel of the Covenant made flesh, there was the Name of God for redemption, which was Jesus, which means ‘Redeemer.’
And now, we have the promise that for the Last Day the Word will come again, the Angel of the Covenant, the Angel of the Lord, manifested in human flesh; and that will be the Coming of the Angel of the Covenant, of the Angel of the Lord, of the white horse Rider of Revelation 19, manifested in the midst of His Church in human flesh in His Angel Messenger of the Age of the Cornerstone, which is the seventh from Adam.
And now, how are we going to find the Angel of the Lord Jesus Christ as the seventh one since Adam? Well, simple: just as Enoch was seventh since Adam, now the Angel of the Lord Jesus Christ is seventh since Adam.
For there are seven dispensations; and Adam was the first prophet messenger for the first dispensation: the Dispensation of Innocence; then Seth was the prophet messenger for the second dispensation: the Dispensation of Conscience; and Noah was the third dispensational messenger, the messenger of the third dispensation: the Dispensation of the Human Government; and Abraham was the fourth dispensational messenger, for the Dispensation of the Promise, with the Message of the Promise; and Moses was the fifth dispensational prophet with the fifth Message, with the Message of the Dispensation of the Law, for the fifth dispensation, which is the Dispensation of the Law; and Jesus is the messenger for the Dispensation of Grace, the sixth prophet messenger for the sixth dispensation, the Dispensation of Grace; and then the Angel of the Lord Jesus Christ is the seventh dispensational messenger, with the Message of the Gospel of the Kingdom, for the seventh dispensation, which is the Dispensation of the Kingdom.
He is the seventh dispensational prophet since Adam; and just as Enoch preached the day of vengeance of our God…, for Judas says that Enoch was preaching, he was prophesying, he says:
“And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints,
To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.”
And now, just as Enoch preached the Second Coming of Christ and the things that He will do in His Second Coming, where the day of vengeance of our God will be fulfilled and where He will make judgment upon the human race…; for Christ said in Matthew, chapter 16, verse 27, that the Son of Man will come. And now watch how He said that the Son of Man will come; it says:
“For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works.”
This was the same thing the prophet Enoch said.
And now, in Revelation, chapter 22, verse 12, also says:
“And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.”
Enoch preached all of this in condensed form.
Being a prophet and being the seventh prophet since Adam, of that line of prophets there, antediluvian, we find that the things that happened in the life and ministry of Enoch would now be reflected in the seventh dispensational prophet.
That is why, just as Enoch, after walking with God, God transposed him…, in other words, He raptured him so as not to see death, He took him away. And the same promise is for the Angel of the Lord Jesus Christ; because he will be walking with Christ, with God, in the Last Day, in the Age of the Cornerstone, and he has the promise that he will be transformed and raptured and taken to the House of our heavenly Father. He will be taken by God as Enoch was taken.
And also those who will be walking with God in the Last Day, in the Age of the Cornerstone, will be changed and will be taken to the House of our heavenly Father, because they belong to the group of believers in Christ of the seventh since Adam, who would walk with God, with Christ, in this Last Day.
And walking with Christ and His Message relevant to the Last Day, the Age of the Cornerstone and Dispensation of the Kingdom, in the manifestation of Christ, the Angel of the Covenant, through His Angel Messenger (which is the seventh dispensational messenger from Adam until now), everyone, by walking with Christ in His last manifestation in the seventh dispensational messenger, we will be walking with God; and we will be taken to not to see death because we will be changed and taken to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb in Heaven.
Now, if anyone has gone before, he will resurrect when the dead in Christ resurrect; and even if any of our own goes away today, he will return in an eternal body with all the dead in Christ who will resurrect; and we will go with Christ to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb in Heaven.
Now, notice how important it is to walk with God in the age and dispensation that the person was given to live.
Although those who walked with God in the seven ages of the gentile Church have departed physically, they have no problem, because they will be resurrected in this Last Day, and they will have an eternal body and will be taken to the House of our heavenly Father, to not see death in that eternal body; and we, when we have the eternal body, we will have a body that will not see death either.
But as for our physical body, if we remain alive in this physical body until the dead in Christ are resurrected, then our body will be transformed, and then we will be taken in the new body with Christ to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb.
And then, being in the new body, we will see our beloved Lord Jesus Christ in His body; but as long as we have this mortal and corruptible physical body, we will see Christ manifested in His Angel Messenger in this end time, manifested in human flesh, just as the sons and daughters of God of each age saw Christ in Holy Spirit manifested in the angel messenger of each age.
Now, these angel messengers walked with Christ, who was manifested in them, and the group of each of these messengers also walked with Christ manifested in His angel messenger of each age.
And now we are living in the Last Day, where the great blessing is to walk with Christ, with God, to be taken in the rapture and to not see death.
And now where are the people who are walking with God, with Christ, in this Last Day? Here we are, in Latin America and the Caribbean, walking with God, with Christ, as Enoch walked with God and was raptured, he was taken by God to not see death.
Every person who walks with Christ, with God, in the age in which he lives, will not see death even though his physical body dies; but Christ has said that he who believes in Him, has passed from death to life; in other words, the person already has eternal life. John, chapter 5, verse 24, so it says:
“Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.”
And in John, chapter 11, verse 23, Jesus says… chapter 11, verse 23 and on, Jesus said:
“Jesus saith unto her (to Martha), Thy brother shall rise again. (that is, Lazarus will resurrect).
Martha saith unto him, I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day.”
Jesus had taught that the resurrection would be for the Last Day, which is the seventh millennium, and Martha had understood and believed it. And Lazarus being a believer in Christ, well Martha knew that Lazarus would resurrect at the Last Day; and he will resurrect at the Last Day.
Now, Christ wanted to take Lazarus as an example of what He will do in the Last Day, and that is why Lazarus is type and figure of the dead in Christ who will resurrect.
“Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:
And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?
She (Martha) saith unto him, Yea, Lord: I believe that thou art the Christ, the Son of God, which should come into the world.”
Now notice how the person who has walked with God in the age that he was given to live has eternal life; and although his physical body is dead, that person will live eternally; he continues to live in his theophanic body. If his physical body dies, he will live in Paradise; and in the Last Day, Christ has said that He will resurrect him.
And now, in chapter 6, verse 39 to 40, Christ says:
“And this is the Father’s will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day (For when? The resurrection will be for the Last Day).
And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.”
This is for the believers in Christ, because in the Last Day (which is the seventh millennium), before the great tribulation begins and the Millennial Kingdom begins here on Earth, Christ will resurrect the dead who have departed in past ages and have been serving Christ, they have been walking with God.
And we who are alive and walk with Christ, with God, in the age that we have been given to live, if we remain physically alive until the dead in Christ resurrect, when we see them resurrected in eternal bodies we will be transformed; and our physical body will no longer die, but will obtain that transformation, and then we will have the eternal body.
And then we will be taken from here, from this earthly dimension, from this Earth, because the divine judgment of the great tribulation comes for this Earth; but for the elect, who have walked with God, have walked with Christ in the age they have been given to live, for the time of the great tribulation (which will be three and a half years) God has a feast in Heaven for those people who have walked with God.
See, before the flood came upon the Earth, God took Enoch; He took him so as not to see death. And before the great tribulation begins on Earth, before the divine judgment falls (which is represented in the judgment of the flood that fell thousands of years ago and also in the divine judgment that fell on Sodom and Gomorrah), before the judgment of the great tribulation falls on Earth, Christ will take us to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb in Heaven, to the House of our heavenly Father.
We have seen the privilege and blessing that there is in walking with God in the age and dispensation and generation that the person has been given to live.
And now, where are the blessed who in this Last Day would be walking with God, with Christ, in the Age of the Cornerstone, in this Last Day? Well here we are walking with Christ, and He will take us to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb in an eternal body, and we will not go through the great tribulation.
It has been a great privilege for me to be with you on this occasion, testifying to you of “THE BLESSING OF WALKING WITH GOD.”
We saw it reflected in Enoch; we also saw it reflected in the prophet Elijah, who walked with God and God took him in a chariot of fire; and we also saw it reflected in Jesus, who walked with God.
He said: “I do nothing of myself, but what I see the Father doing.” And after He died and resurrected, He was raptured and taken to Heaven, to the Temple that is in Heaven, to the House of our heavenly Father, to sit at the right hand of God and carry out God’s business on behalf of all those whose names are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life.
May the blessings of Jesus Christ, the Angel of the Covenant, our Savior, be upon all of you and upon me also; and may He help us and always accompany us in our journey through this Earth. And may all of us always remain walking, may we always remain walking with God in the age we have been given to live and in the dispensation we have been given to live; and may He soon give us the new body and take us to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb in Heaven, may He take us to the House of our heavenly Father. In the Eternal Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen and amen.
Well, may God continue blessing you all, may God keep you, and onward always walking with God; because that is where God’s blessing is for the human being: in walking with God.
Our subject was: “THE BLESSING OF WALKING WITH GOD.”
Do you see that there is a great blessing? It is a blessing that cannot be bought with money or fame or a university degree, but by walking with God. There is the blessing: it is walking with God in the age and dispensation that the person has been given to live in.
Well, thank you very much for your kind attention, beloved friends and brethren present; and may God continue to bless you all, and may He watch over you and keep you in your walk with God, in our trajectory to the House of our heavenly Father.
May God continue to bless you all and may God keep you all.
“THE BLESSING OF WALKING WITH GOD.”
