The High Priest interceding for the people

Good evening, beloved friends and brethren present, and viewers, those who are also through the Internet in different nations and those who are through the telephone line and other forms of communication, and those present here.

May the blessings of Jesus Christ, the Angel of the Covenant, be upon all of you and upon me also, and speak His Word directly to us tonight, and teach us His Program relevant to this end time. In the Eternal Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen and amen.

To all visitors: Welcome, and may God bless you greatly. And to all those who have helped us in these days for the purchase of the land: May God bless you greatly, to all the congregations in all Latin America and the Caribbean; may He also bless each one as an individual, all those who have helped us; and also to the ministers, bless you greatly; and to all those here present who have collaborated as well.

Tonight I wish you all a happy and prosperous year 1999, which is about to begin; and may these last minutes that we have left be of great blessing for each one of you and for me too.

Let’s read in Leviticus, chapter 16…, and chapter 19 of Exodus.

Chapter 19 of Exodus tells us; verse 5 to 6 says:

“Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine:

And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation. These are the words which thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel.”

And now, chapter 16 of Leviticus, verse 1 and on, says:

“And the Lord spake unto Moses after the death of the two sons of Aaron, when they offered before the Lord, and died;

And the Lord said unto Moses, Speak unto Aaron thy brother, that he come not at all times into the holy place within the vail before the mercy seat, which is upon the ark; that he die not: for I will appear in the cloud upon the mercy seat.”

And then we go on to Hebrews, chapter 2, verse 9 and on, Saint Paul says:

“But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.

For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings.

For both he that sanctifieth and they who are sanctified are all of one: for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren,

Saying, I will declare thy name unto my brethren, in the midst of the church will I sing praise unto thee.

And again, I will put my trust in him. And again, Behold I and the children which God hath given me.

Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;

And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.

For verily he took not on him the nature of angels; but he took on him the seed of Abraham.

Wherefore in all things it behoved him to be made like unto his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people.

For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to succour them that are tempted.”

May God bless our souls with His Word and allow us to understand It.

“THE HIGH PRIEST INTERCEDING FOR THE PEOPLE.”

In order to understand the mystery of the High Priest who was established by God in the midst of the Hebrew people, and then to be able to understand the mystery and ministry of the High Priest Melchizedek, who is Jesus Christ, we also need to understand that the Hebrew people, in the midst of whom the tabernacle built by Moses was established, and then the temple built by King Solomon, the Hebrew people, being the people of God, the nation that as a people is the first people of God, the first nation that God has created, being the Hebrew people the people where the temple of God has been (the tabernacle built by Moses and the temple built by King Solomon), we need to understand something very important: and it is that the Hebrew people reflect the heavenly Israel, the heavenly people of God.

We have the earthly Israel and we have the heavenly Israel; the earthly Israel is the Hebrew people and the heavenly Israel is the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ.

And now, the whole Program is simple. The Church of the Lord Jesus Christ is reflected in the Hebrew people; and all that is in Heaven, in the Temple of God in Heaven, is reflected in the earthly Israel and is materialized in the heavenly Israel, that is, in the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, is materialized in human beings.

Now, understanding this mystery we can now understand why God established in the midst of the Hebrew people a priestly order with a high priest as the head of all priests, and a group of priests working with him; because in the Temple of God which is in Heaven there is a High Priest, which is our beloved Lord Jesus Christ, which is Melchizedek, the Priest of the Temple of God in Heaven, who appeared to Abraham on one occasion as Melchizedek.

The heavenly Priestly Order of Melchizedek is reflected in the Levitical priestly order, headed by the high priest Aaron.

And now, also the priests of the Temple which is in Heaven, who work with the High Priest Melchizedek, are the members of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ; and that is why the Scripture teaches us that we have been made kings and priests unto God.

In Revelation, chapter 1, verses 5 and on, it tells us:

“And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,

And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.”

And in chapter 5 of Revelation, verse 9 and on, says:

“And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;

And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.”

And in chapter 20, verse 4 and on, of Revelation, it tells us:

“And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.

Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.”

Here we can see that there is a New Priestly Order, but that is the Priestly Order of the Temple that is in Heaven, which is a Priestly Order that is before the Levitical priestly order, of which Aaron was the high priest; and before the earthly Israel there is the heavenly Israel.

And now, you see, Christ is the High Priest of the Temple which is in Heaven; therefore, He as High Priest didn’t have to come through the tribe of Levi to be a priest or high priest of the earthly temple, but He came according to the Order established by God; and He came through the tribe of Judah in His birth in human flesh, but He came as High Priest of the Temple which is in Heaven, that is why He is King and Priest.

And now, as High Priest He had to carry out a Work, as the high priest in the midst of the Hebrew people every year had to carry out a very important work: On the 10th day of the seventh month, the high priest had to enter the most holy place of the temple with the blood of the atonement, to make atonement for the people, for the people to be reconciled with God.

This is the same thing that Christ does in Heaven, in the Temple of God. He came to Earth in human flesh, and already for the Temple of God which is in Heaven, one can’t sacrifice a small animal and take its blood to the Temple of God which is in Heaven; but the Passover lamb and also the goat of the atonement represented the Messiah in His First Coming, which would be the Sacrifice for sin, the Atonement for sin, for the reconciliation of the heavenly Israel with God, and also for the reconciliation of earthly Israel.

And now, the High Priest Melchizedek… Just as the High Priest was the one who had to perform the sacrifice, he was the one who had to carry out that sacrifice and then take the blood and carry it to the most holy place, now the High Priest Melchizedek, from the Temple which is in Heaven, was the only one who could carry out the Sacrifice for sin; and He had to have a veil of flesh, which would be the Lamb of God and Goat of Atonement, to, that Sacrifice, to perform that Sacrifice on Calvary’s Cross, and then to carry our sins to be reconciled with God, and to carry His Blood to the Most Holy Place of the Temple which is in Heaven, and place it on the Mercy Seat, as the High Priest did every year in the earthly temple.

Now see how the things of the heavenly Temple were reflected in the earthly temple built by Moses and the earthly temple built by King Solomon.

But after Christ made His Sacrifice on Calvary’s Cross, the sacrifices in the earthly temple were no longer needed, because those sacrifices ceased and the work in that temple ceased, and the work of Intercession by the High Priest Melchizedek began. Where? In the Temple that is in Heaven.

And it has already been two thousand years from Christ until now, where we find Christ interceding in Heaven for the heavenly Israel, for all the people that belong to the heavenly Israel.

The forerunner of the Second Coming of Christ in the message of The Seals, page 102 and 103 says:1

[59] Perfectly, predestination! See? All right. He had to stay there, because He came to die for those that God had ordained to Eternal Life. See? See? By His foreknowledge, He saw them. Not by His Own will; His will was that none should perish. But by His foreknowledge He knew who would and who would not. Therefore, as long as there was one name hadn’t, never yet been ’clared—declared in earth, Christ had to stay there as an Intercessor, to take care of that name.

60 But as soon as that final name had been splashed in that Clorox or bleach, then His intercessory days was over.”

And that is why Christ has been in Heaven, in the Temple of God there, making intercession. He is still making intercession for the last ones who have their names written in Heaven, in the Lamb’s Book of Life. And when He intercedes for the last one, let’s see:2

64 When the Lamb was slain, the names were put on the Book. He is standing in the Holy… (Holy, says here, but it is Most Holy Place), Place tonight, in Glory, as an Intercessor, making intercessions for every one of those souls whose name is on that Book. And nobody knows that name but Him. He is the One that’s got the Book in His hand, and He knows. When that last one comes in, then His intercessing days is over. He comes forth then to claim what He has interceded for.”

Now we can see what will be happening for this end time: when every last one of the elect enters, Christ will finish His work in Heaven and make His claim of all that He has redeemed with His precious Blood, and every member of the Mystical Body of Christ, of heavenly Israel, will be completely reconciled.

With the last of God’s elect in the Age of the Cornerstone, called and gathered with the Great Voice of Trumpet, when the last one is reached, the number of God’s elect of the heavenly Israel will be completed, and Christ will then be able to finish His work in Heaven and claim all that He has redeemed by His precious Blood.

We have seen thus briefly: “THE HIGH PRIEST INTERCEDING FOR THE PEOPLE.” And now, all that He does in Heaven He reflects in His Church from age to age.

The change from one year to another is very, very important, it is a matter of seconds (let’s say, a minute) in which that intertwine is made.

A new year speaks of a new age and a new dispensation.

We find that God spoke to the Hebrew people about the years and told the Hebrew people just as He told them about the days of the week: “Six days you shall labor and the seventh day shall be a Sabbath”3; that is why it is called Sabbath, because Sabbath means ‘repose’ or ‘rest.’

Now, He also says to them: “Six years you shall labor, sow and reap; but the seventh year shall be a year of rest for the earth.”4

Now see, a day of rest for the person… of seven days, the seventh day: a day of rest for the person. And now for the Earth: a year of rest for her; the seventh year is always a year of rest for the Earth, a Sabbath year, it is Sabbath for the Earth.

In the sixth year God would give fruit for three years,5 and in the eighth year the people would sow the land; but in the seventh year they would neither work in the land by sowing and reaping, but the land would bear fruit of itself; but no crops could be harvested, but each one took of what the land produced automatically and ate; plus, also, what had been stored up, because in the sixth year the land produced for three years: it produced for the sixth year, it produced for the seventh year, and it produced for the eighth year; because in the eighth year was when sowing began, therefore, one had to eat in the eighth year, and that food had to be there already stored, because in the eighth year it was to carry out the sowing, and at the end it was harvested.

Now, notice how God established all this in this form because all this represents the Divine Program with the heavenly Israel, that is why He reflected it in this form.

Also, we find that during 49 years it was carried out in that order: 6 years of work, sowing and reaping in the earth, and 1 year of rest for the earth; so for seven cycles of seven years, and seven times seven [7×7] are forty-nine [49] years; in 49 years we have 7 years of rest for the earth.

And then came the year 50, which couldn’t be worked either: it was also a year of rest for the whole Earth, it was the year of deliverance, it was the year of redemption for the land and for the slaves, for all those who had lost their inheritance because it had been sold or taken away, or they had been taken as slaves; now came the year 50 when the land, the inheritance, returned to its original owner, and the person returned to his inheritance and to his family.6

The 49 years represent all the time of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ from His birth until the seventh Church age; in other words, the seven ages of the gentile Church are there; and then the 50th year represents the Age of the Cornerstone, where the redemption of the body of every child of God will be carried out, and the sons and daughters of God will again have eternal bodies; they will have a glorified eternal body like that of our beloved Lord Jesus Christ.

Now see how in the midst of the Hebrew people God established these ordinances and laws and feasts, which reflect the Divine Program that He would carry out for the restoration of the sons and daughters of God to eternal life, to a total restoration; but that restoration begins with the Work of Christ on Calvary’s Cross, in order to redeem all of us; and the person, by believing in Christ as his Savior, has entered into the Program of Restoration of the human being to eternal life.

When the person receives Christ as his Savior, washes his sins in His Blood and receives His Holy Spirit: he has received the new birth, and therefore he has received a theophanic body of the sixth dimension, a spirit of the sixth dimension; because the spirit he had received when he was born of his earthly parents was a spirit of the world, but now he receives a spirit of heaven, a theophanic spirit, a theophanic body equal to the theophanic body of our Lord Jesus Christ.

That theophanic spirit or theophanic body is similar to our body but from another dimension, from the sixth dimension; and for the Last Day, at the Coming of the Lord, by finishing His Work of Intercession in Heaven, in the Temple of God, in the Most Holy Place, when every last one of the elect has entered into the Mystical Body of Christ, Christ finishes His work of Intercession and reconciliation of the heavenly Israel with God; therefore, all will already be spiritually reconciled; and only the physical reconciliation of the eternal body remains, where we will live for all eternity with an immortal, incorruptible body, which is equal to the body of our beloved Lord Jesus Christ.

All these things Christ obtains for each one of you and for me also, so that we may all be in His image and likeness, so that we may all be equal to Jesus Christ our Savior. He is our elder brother, and we are constituted into a Mystical Body of believers called the Church of Jesus Christ or House of God, which is the heavenly Israel.

Now, we have seen how God has been carrying out each part of His Program, and in this end time it allows us to understand what He has been carrying out; and it allows us to see how there was a territory where each age was fulfilled: The first in Asia Minor, the second in France; and so on, in Europe five ages were fulfilled: France, Hungary, Ireland, and also Germany and also England; and then in North America the seventh stage or age of the Church of Jesus Christ was fulfilled; and now the Age of the Cornerstone, which is the age that we would say the eighth age; and eight represents eternity; therefore, it represents an eternal age, an age that will not cease to exist, an age that will continue for the Millennium and for all eternity.

Being an eternal age it is the age where all the members of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ will enter eternity, where they will be restored to eternal life with eternal bodies; which was represented in the year of jubilee, which is the year of redemption.

And now the divine cycle of redemption and for the redemption of our body is the divine cycle represented in the year 50, in the year of jubilee, which represents the Age of the Cornerstone, the eternal and perfect age of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ; it is the Golden Age of the Church of Jesus Christ; while the kingdom of the gentiles is in the feet of iron and clay.

The golden age of the kingdom of the gentiles was in the time of King Nebuchadnezzar, that is why its time was represented in the golden head of the statue that King Nebuchadnezzar saw in his dream and the prophet Daniel interpreted to him. That golden age of the kingdom of the gentiles has passed, and now the kingdom of the gentiles is at the stage of the feet of iron and clay; and from there it can’t go on.

With the Coming of Christ, when His Work of Intercession is finished, the kingdom of the gentiles will be taken away and the Kingdom of Jesus Christ will be established. And from that time on, when Christ finishes His Work of Intercession, then from then on comes the resurrection of the dead in Christ and our transformation; and then comes the great tribulation, where the kingdom of the gentiles receives the divine judgment.

The wrath of God is poured out upon the kingdom of the gentiles, because the kingdom of the gentiles has shed the blood of the saints and of the prophets of God, and of the Hebrews and of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, and of Jesus Christ Himself; for it was the Roman empire which crucified Christ at the request of the Hebrew people, and which also persecuted the Church of Jesus Christ for many centuries; and see why the kingdom of the gentiles will receive divine judgment in the Last Day, which is in the seventh millennium.

Now, we have seen that the High Priest Jesus Christ, who is the High Priest of the Temple which is in Heaven, which is Melchizedek, Priest of the Most High God and King of Salem, that is, of Jerusalem, when Christ finishes His work as High Priest in Heaven He will become the Lion of the tribe of Judah and also the Judge of all the Earth, and He will begin His work under the symbols of Lion of the tribe of Judah and Judge of all the Earth.

Just as when in His First Coming He was on Earth: When He was born He was already the Lamb of God and also the High Priest Melchizedek, but He had to have a lapse of time where, at that time, He had already carried out the business of His heavenly Father.

When He was 12 years old He said that it was convenient for Him to be about His Father’s business7; and when He turned almost 30 years old, when He was almost 30 years old He began His public ministry among the Hebrew people as the Messiah, the promised Anointed One, the promised Christ; because the Messiah would begin His ministry in the seventieth week of Daniel’s prophecy, and in the middle of the week the Messiah’s life would be taken away.8

And it remains, of the seventieth week of Daniel’s prophecy, the Hebrew people have three and a half years to be fulfilled by the Messiah; but back then He was as the Lamb of God and High Priest, and He carried out the Work on Calvary’s Cross, the High Priest Melchizedek, offering there His own body as a living sacrifice for the sin of the heavenly Israel and the earthly Israel, and for every human being.

For the Last Day, at the Second Coming of Christ, we find that the symbols are: The Lion of the tribe of Judah: that is the symbol that represents Him as King of kings and Lord of lords, and Judge of all the Earth, to bring the world to judgment before the Throne of God; because it will no longer be a Throne of Mercy, because He will have finished His work as High Priest in Heaven, therefore, it will be a Throne of Judgment.

And as Judge of all the Earth, we find that He, just as He ministered the mercy of God as High Priest, He will minister the divine judgment from the Temple which is in Heaven. And just as He revealed His mercy from the Temple of God in the midst of His Church here on Earth, He will also make known the divine judgment in the midst of His Church to human beings, and from His Church He will make known these divine judgments that are to come upon the Earth.

Now, we can see that no person can wait for Christ to finish His work of intercession in Heaven to then seek Christ; because afterwards the High Priest Melchizedek and Lamb of God, will no longer be as High Priest to have mercy of people, but will be as Judge to judge people, and to pay to each one according to his works.9

So it is very important for all people to understand this, so that, while there is mercy at the Throne of God in Heaven, while there is the Blood of Christ and Christ there interceding, people take advantage of the opportunity they have here in their earthly life, so that they may obtain God’s mercy. But after Christ leaves the Throne of Intercession: whoever is unclean can no longer be cleansed by the Blood of Christ, because He has already finished His Work of Intercession.10

It is like in the midst of the Hebrew people: While the high priest was interceding in the most holy place, God’s mercy was being extended to the people who had repented and had sought God’s mercy… That is why the Scripture says in Leviticus, chapter 23, that the people on that tenth day of the seventh month, the day of atonement, had to afflict their souls; and whoever didn’t do so, would be cut off from the people.

And now, us seeing that Christ is in Heaven, in the Most Holy Place: whoever doesn’t repent of his sins and grieve for having sinned, and receive Christ as his Savior and wash away his sins in the Blood of Christ: he will be cut off from the people, he loses the right to live eternally. But he who grieves for his sins and repents, and seeks the mercy of Christ: he obtains mercy, and shall live eternally.

“He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.”11

Now, we have seen this mystery of: “THE HIGH PRIEST INTERCEDING FOR THE PEOPLE.”

That is what Christ is doing since He ascended to heaven. That is why there is no need for the temple that the Hebrew people had there in their land, nor the temple or tabernacle of Moses; because it is already working, since Christ ascended to Heaven, the Temple of God in Heaven, extending His mercy, because there is the High Priest Melchizedek, our beloved Lord Jesus Christ.

In other words, now mercy is not obtained in an earthly temple, but it is obtained directly from the Temple of God which is in Heaven, where Jesus Christ is interceding; and He manifests it, that mercy, in His spiritual Temple, which is His Church, from age to age.

He in the first age was extending His mercy, in the second, in the third, fourth, fifth, sixth and seventh; and now in the Age of the Cornerstone He is still extending His mercy for the last time.

And when He finishes gathering His elect with the Great Voice of Trumpet of the Gospel of the Kingdom, which revolves around the Second Coming of Christ, then the Throne of Intercession in Heaven becomes a Throne of Judgment and there will no longer be mercy for the human race; therefore, the divine judgment will have to come upon the human race, because God will no longer see the human race under the Blood of Christ, but He will see the human race with its sins, because the Blood of Christ will no longer be on the Throne of God in Heaven.

We have to be aware of this reality and have our lives fixed, our sins confessed to Christ and immersed in the Blood of Christ, before He leaves the Throne of Intercession.

That is why, every day, praying to Christ, confess your faults and your sins to Christ, place those sins and faults in the Blood of Christ; for the Blood of Christ cleanses us from all sin.12

You can’t store up faults, errors and sins, but every day examine yourselves, and confess to Christ your faults and your sins that you have committed; so that you may rest soundly all night long, and the next day begin a new day full of the blessings of Jesus Christ.

We have seen this mystery of “THE HIGH PRIEST INTERCEDING FOR THE PEOPLE.”

And we have a merciful High Priest, interceding for all the sons and daughters of God: for each one of you and for me too; and that High Priest is our elder brother, our beloved Lord Jesus Christ.

And now you are priests also, and I also, of God; for He has cleansed us with His blood and has made us to our God kings and priests.13 He has made us like Himself: He is King, He has made us kings; He is Priest, He has made us priests too.

That is the Priestly Order of the Temple of God in Heaven; and that Priestly Order, see how it has been materializing, becoming flesh, here on Earth. And now we belong to a New Priestly Order; not to the priestly order of the earthly temple that was in the midst of the Hebrew people, but to the Priestly Order of the heavenly Temple.

May the blessings of Jesus Christ, the High Priest of the Temple which is in Heaven, be spoken from Heaven, from the Temple of God, from the Most Holy Place, upon each one of you and upon me as well. In the Eternal Name of the Lord Jesus Christ.

And prosper you spiritually and materially also. And prepare you and me to soon be transformed and taken to the House of our heavenly Father; and call those who are yet to come. In the Eternal Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen and amen.

We have seen the mystery of the High Priest interceding in Heaven; and we have seen how ages and dispensations are also represented in a new year that begins: it represents a new age that begins or a new dispensation that begins; and according to what begins is what Christ does in Heaven.

It has been for me a great privilege to be with you in the year 1998 bringing you the Word of Christ, and to be with you again at the beginning of this year 1999; and to continue with you all the days of my life being in this earthly body; and when I am in the new body I will continue with you also; because we will be with Christ for the Millennium and for all eternity.

And in and with divine love I will always be giving you the Word that He will give me for each one of you in this new year 1999 and all the other years to come. And in this new year also of age: The Age of the Cornerstone, and this new year of dispensation: The Dispensation of the Kingdom, I will also be with you. Remember that years represent ages and dispensations as well.

May God bless you greatly; and may you have a year 1999 full of happiness, peace, divine love and great blessings from Heaven; and may God use you greatly in His Work in this year 1999.

May God bless you and keep you, and may you all have a good evening.

I leave again with us Reverend Miguel Bermudez Marin to continue, and to thus thank Christ for His blessings. With us the Reverend Miguel Bermudez Marin.
