Good afternoon, beloved friends and brethren present. It is a great blessing to be with you on this occasion, to see our subject for this occasion: “THE MYSTERY OF THE DAY OF ATONEMENT.”
Let’s read in Leviticus chapter 23, verses 26 to 32, where God tells the Prophet Moses the following:
“And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,
Also on the tenth day of this seventh month there shall be a day of atonement: it shall be an holy convocation unto you; and ye shall afflict your souls, and offer an offering made by fire unto the Lord.
And ye shall do no work in that same day: for it is a day of atonement, to make an atonement for you before the Lord your God.
For whatsoever soul it be that shall not be afflicted in that same day, he shall be cut off from among his people.
And whatsoever soul it be that doeth any work in that same day, the same soul will I destroy from among his people.
Ye shall do no manner of work: it shall be a statute for ever throughout your generations in all your dwellings.
It shall be unto you a sabbath of rest, and ye shall afflict your souls: in the ninth day of the month at even, from even unto even, shall ye celebrate your sabbath.”
“THE MYSTERY OF THE DAY OF ATONEMENT.”
This Day of Atonement that God gave the Hebrew people… on the seventh month of each year (the tenth day of the seventh month), the sin offering of the goat was offered to God; and the high priest also offered a bullock of the sin offering for himself.
And the high priest would come in with the blood of the sin offering of the bullock (the sin offering for the high priest), and he would go to the holy of holies with the golden censer, with burning coals of fire, burning coals, and the incense there in the censer, and he would go and offer God that sin offering for himself.
And then, when he would come out, he would go and take the goat, the sacrifice of the goat was carried out, he would take the blood of the goat, and bring it into the holy of holies; and there, he would offer God the sin offering of the goat, he would offer its blood as an atonement in the holy of holies, before the Presence of God.
It tells us about this in Leviticus chapter 16, verse 1 and on, where it says:
“And the Lord spake unto Moses after the death of the two sons of Aaron, when they offered before the Lord, and died;
And the Lord said unto Moses, Speak unto Aaron thy brother, that he come not at all times into the holy place within the vail before the mercy seat, which is upon the ark; that he die not: for I will appear in the cloud upon the mercy seat.
Thus shall Aaron come into the holy place: with a young bullock for a sin offering, and a ram for a burnt offering.
He shall put on the holy linen coat, and he shall have the linen breeches upon his flesh, and shall be girded with a linen girdle, and with the linen mitre shall he be attired: these are holy garments; therefore shall he wash his flesh in water, and so put them on.
And he shall take of the congregation of the children of Israel two kids of the goats for a sin offering, and one ram for a burnt offering.
And Aaron shall offer his bullock of the sin offering, which is for himself, and make an atonement for himself, and for his house.
And he shall take the two goats, and present them before the Lord at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.
And Aaron shall cast lots upon the two goats; one lot for the Lord, and the other lot for the scapegoat.
And Aaron shall bring the goat upon which the Lord’s lot fell, and offer him for a sin offering.
But the goat, on which the lot fell to be the scapegoat, shall be presented alive before the Lord, to make an atonement with him, and to let him go for a scapegoat into the wilderness.
And Aaron shall bring the bullock of the sin offering, which is for himself, and shall make an atonement for himself, and for his house, and shall kill the bullock of the sin offering which is for himself:
And he shall take a censer full of burning coals of fire from off the altar before the Lord, and his hands full of sweet incense beaten small, and bring it within the vail,” (meaning, into the holy of holies).
“And he shall put the incense upon the fire before the Lord, that the cloud of the incense may cover the mercy seat that is upon the testimony, that he die not:
And he shall take of the blood of the bullock, and sprinkle it with his finger upon the mercy seat eastward; and before the mercy seat shall he sprinkle of the blood with his finger seven times.
Then shall he kill the goat of the sin offering, that is for the people, and bring his blood within the vail, and do with that blood as he did with the blood of the bullock, and sprinkle it upon the mercy seat, and before the mercy seat:
And he shall make an atonement for the holy place, because of the uncleanness of the children of Israel, and because of their transgressions in all their sins: and so shall he do for the tabernacle of the congregation, that remaineth among them in the midst of their uncleanness.
And there shall be no man in the tabernacle of the congregation when he goeth in to make an atonement in the holy place, until he come out, and have made an atonement for himself, and for his household, and for all the congregation of Israel.
And he shall go out unto the altar that is before the Lord, and make an atonement for it; and shall take of the blood of the bullock, and of the blood of the goat, and put it upon the horns of the altar round about.
And he shall sprinkle of the blood upon it with his finger seven times, and cleanse it, and hallow it from the uncleanness of the children of Israel.
And when he hath made an end of reconciling the holy place, and the tabernacle of the congregation, and the altar, he shall bring the live goat:
And Aaron shall lay both his hands upon the head of the live goat, and confess over him all the iniquities of the children of Israel, and all their transgressions in all their sins, putting them upon the head of the goat, and shall send him away by the hand of a fit man into the wilderness:
And the goat shall bear upon him all their iniquities unto a land not inhabited: and he shall let go the goat in the wilderness.”
Now, notice this whole ritual that was carried out among the Hebrew people on the Day of Atonement; and it had to be done as God commanded the Hebrew people by the hand of the Prophet Moses, to thus reconcile the Hebrew people to God; and this was done every year among the Hebrew people, in the temple that was among the Hebrew people.
First they had the temple Moses built, the tabernacle made of skins; and then the Hebrew people in Jerusalem had the temple Solomon built; and then, when the temple of Solomon was destroyed, it was rebuilt again; and likewise, on different occasions when they destroyed the temple of Jerusalem, it was rebuilt; and the Hebrew people offered God this ritual, this rite of atonement, according to what was established by God through the Prophet Moses.
Unless they carried out what God commanded the Prophet Moses for the Hebrew people, God’s blessing would not come upon the Hebrew people, the Divine Judgment would come instead, if they didn’t do as God established for the Hebrew people.
Saint Paul, speaking to us about this mystery, tells us in chapter 9 of the Book of Hebrews [verse 1]:
“Then verily the first covenant had also ordinances of divine service, and a worldly sanctuary.
For there was a tabernacle made; the first, wherein was the candlestick, and the table, and the shewbread; which is called the sanctuary.
And after the second veil, the tabernacle which is called the Holiest of all;
Which had the golden censer…”
That is the golden censer which the high priest would fill with burning coals from off the altar that was before the holy place, but not… that was in the holy place, before the entrance to the holy of holies; and from there, from that altar of incense, from that altar that was there, we find that Aaron would take burning coals and put them in the censer; and there, with that censer and with incense put in the censer, that cloud of smoke with the smell of the incense would rise up to the Presence of God in the holy of holies.
And now, notice that God gave the Hebrew people these ordinances and laws; and in these ordinances and laws that He gave the Hebrew people, God was representing or reflecting what God would carry out in His Program.
All these feasts the Hebrew people carried out, these seven feasts, are a type and figure of the Work that God would do as time went on.
For example, we have the Feast of Passover, which was fulfilled back then in the Divine Program, which represented the Sacrifice of Christ on Calvary’s Cross. And now, Saint Paul tells us that our Passover is (whom?) Christ.1
And now, notice why Christ had to die on the eve of Passover, just as the Passover lamb had to die on the eve of Passover. And Christ died on the eve of Passover according to what was done on the Feast of Passover. That Feast was already fulfilled by God in His Program through the death of Christ on Calvary’s Cross on the eve of Passover.
And now, people are not required to have that Feast of Passover literally, but rather, to have the Feast of Passover that was represented in the Hebrew people’s Feast of Passover.
God’s Feast of Passover is the Sacrifice of Christ on Calvary’s Cross, for all of God’s sons and daughters to eat the flesh of the Son of man and drink His Blood; in other words, to believe in Jesus Christ as our Savior and wash away our sins in the Blood of the Lamb, and receive His Holy Spirit; and thus, have Eternal Life from God.
Now, in the Old Testament, we saw that the Passover that was carried out, for the Hebrew people to leave the next day, we find that it was carried out; and the blood of the Passover lamb was applied on the lintel of the door of every house, and on the doorposts, and that would keep, it would protect the firstborn who were inside that house, so that death could not touch them.
And that is what the Blood of Christ has been doing in the present-day fulfillment of the Feast of Passover: protecting those people whose names are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life, those predestinated of God, elected of God, sons and daughters of God, who have come to live on this Earth from age to age.
They have taken the Blood of the Lamb and applied it in their souls, to their souls; and that protects them from spiritual death, and therefore, it protects them from eternal death in the lake of fire. I say “eternal death” because that second death will be forever; no one will be able to rise from that second death.
And now, we find that the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ as a mystical Body of believers also has the Passover Lamb and has the Blood of the Lamb applied; and that is why She is eating the Word of God: She is eating Christ from age to age, by eating the Message of the Gospel of Grace and having the Message of the Gospel of Grace inside Her, inside the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ; and thus, by having Christ inside, in their lives as individuals, and in the life of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ as a mystical Body of believers.
Christ has been manifested in His Church, from age to age, through the angel-messengers of each age, carrying out His Work pertaining to each age.
And now, notice how just as there was a meal to eat in each house that had the Passover lamb, we find that Christ, the Passover Lamb, has been in the House of God, the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, and we have been eating Christ from age to age in a spiritual form; and thus, God’s elect have been protected by being put in the House that has the Blood of Jesus Christ applied on Its doorposts and lintel; and that is how it is for each individual too.
In the House of God, Christ has been manifested in Holy Spirit from age to age, and He has been blessing His people, and His people have been faithfully fed by the faithful and wise servant of each stage; and that is how we have been eating Christ from age to age.
Christ was the Word, and He is still the Word. And when we eat the Word of Christ: we are spiritually eating Jesus Christ. He said: “He who does not eat My flesh, and drink My Blood, has no Life abiding in him.”2
Now, we have seen that both the Passover celebrated by the Hebrew people for their upcoming exodus from Egypt, from bondage in Egypt… is a type and figure of the death of Christ on Calvary’s Cross. Christ is that Passover which was reflected in that Passover of the Hebrew people for their exodus from bondage.
And now, through Christ our Passover, we come out of bondage, and we receive the Spirit of Christ, the Spirit of adoption;3 not the spirit of bondage, but the Spirit of Christ, the Spirit of adoption, so that we are no longer in bondage, but free.
And now, also the Passover that the Hebrew people later celebrated in the wilderness, which they carried out during the same time when they had celebrated the first Passover; and then, when they entered into the promised land, they also celebrated that Passover on the same date—notice how that was a type and figure of Christ, our Passover, dying on Calvary’s Cross, and Christ, our Passover, being put in a new dispensation, and being put in the House of God, which is the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ.
And now, also the Feast of the Firstfruits that were also offered to God, we find that it was fulfilled when Christ rose: that Feast was being fulfilled there.
Then, on the Feast of the Day of Pentecost, forty days after Christ ascended to Heaven, we find that the Spirit of Christ came upon one hundred and twenty people; and the feast of the day of Pentecost was being fulfilled there, which the Hebrew people always celebrated once the previous feasts of Passover and the Firstfruits had passed.
And now, notice how this feast was carried out on the fiftieth day since the Passover lamb had been eaten among the Hebrew people; in other words, counting from the day of Passover to the fiftieth day: on the fiftieth day, the Feast of Pentecost was carried out. And that feast typified what took place on the day of Pentecost, when one hundred and twenty people were filled with the Holy Spirit, and God was manifested there, blessing those believers in Jesus Christ who had followed our beloved Lord Jesus Christ.
Who called and gathered, who gathered His elect who would receive the Holy Spirit on the day of Pentecost? Jesus Christ Himself. Keep that in mind, because we will need it at some point.
And now, since Christ ascended to Heaven and came down in Holy Spirit upon one hundred and twenty people: we have been living in this period of time in which Christ has been manifested in His Church throughout these seven stages or ages of the Gentile Church that have already passed; and He has been calling and gathering His elect from age to age.
And what has been happening? Spiritually (understand that this is spiritually) the Feast of Tabernacles has been taking place, spiritually speaking; meaning that from stage to stage, the people of God have been moving from age to age. And now, at the Last Day, this Feast—spiritually speaking—was also manifested in the seventh stage or age of the Gentile Church.
But this Feast must be manifested more broadly, and that Feast of Tabernacles speaks of the Millennial Kingdom of our beloved Lord Jesus Christ; that is where it will be completely fulfilled, and where we will have the full meaning fulfilled of what this Feast of Tabernacles was among the Hebrew people.
We also have, notice, the sixth feast is the feast… I skipped the Feast of Trumpets and the Feast of Atonement.
The Feast of the Trumpets pertains to the Hebrew people, where God calls and gathers among the Hebrew people, among Israel, all His members from among the Hebrew people (meaning, those whose names are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life), and He has been calling them; and at the Last Day, the Last Trumpet sounds, where the Feast of Trumpets is fulfilled with the sound of the Last Trumpet, where God speaks to the Hebrew people and where God will have the one hundred and forty-four thousand Hebrews there in their land, to receive Christ, to receive the Second Coming of Christ, as the King of kings and Lord of lords, to sit on the Throne of David.
We also have the Feast of Atonement. This Feast of Atonement was fulfilled in Christ, because He is our Atonement, He is the Atonement for His Church.
And now, for the Hebrew people, notice, Christ is also the Atonement. This Atonement was carried out: Christ, the Sacrifice of Atonement, was killed.
And when He died, rose, and ascended to Heaven, He entered just as the high priest entered with the blood of the atoning sacrifice: he would go into the holy of holies and apply that blood there; the same thing he did with the blood of the bullock or heifer is what he would do with the blood of the sin offering of the goat, and he would do that seven times; and we find that this is what Christ has been doing in Heaven.
From age to age, notice how the seven stages or ages of the Gentile Church, those who belong to those ages have been redeemed by the Blood of Jesus Christ; and we find that the Church of Jesus Christ is redeemed by the Blood of Jesus Christ, the Blood of Atonement.
But notice that the reconciliation for the Hebrew people didn’t take place until that work of the high priest in the holy of holies was finished. We find that afterwards, when the Hebrew people saw the high priest come out, when they saw him alive again, they knew their reconciliation had been made, and they received the reconciliation with joy.
Now, notice the things that had to happen on this day with the people who would be waiting for that reconciliation. It wasn’t a matter of letting the high priest do everything, there was a part that the high priest couldn’t do, this is the part that was up to the people; and it’s here in Leviticus chapter 23; verse 29 says, let’s see, it says:
“For whatsoever soul it be that shall not be afflicted in that same day, he shall be cut off from among his people.”
Notice how the people had to repent for their sins, they had to be afflicted for sinning that entire year, all that time, before God. And whoever was not afflicted, whoever did not repent for his sins and weep for his sins, whoever was not afflicted, whoever did not feel pain for having sinned, what would happen? That person would be cut off from where? From among the people. Why? Because he was not afflicted before God for sinning.
In other words, that person had no repentance. And since he had no repentance and his time ran out, now that person—according to the Divine Law—will be cut off from among the people: he will no longer belong to that people; therefore, that person won’t be able to live eternally, he lost the right to Eternal Life.
And now, spiritually, for the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ: every person who repents for sinning confesses his sins to God; and when the High Priest, Jesus Christ, leaves the Holy of Holies, we will be completely reconciled to God, with a new body that He has promised all of us. He will come, so that we are not only reconciled to God in spirit and in soul, but also in body.
Now, we have already received a spiritual reconciliation: we are reconciled to God through Christ and His Sacrifice and His Blood shed on Calvary’s cross, which has been put in the Holy of Holies of the Temple which is in Heaven.
But now, notice, physical death still exists in our bodies. Why? Because these bodies still need a change, a transformation; and when that happens, we will no longer get old, nor get sick, nor die either: we will be physically eternal too, we will have a glorified body, and we will all be in the image and likeness of our beloved Lord Jesus Christ.
See how important this Feast of Atonement is? Which is materialized, which becomes a reality for Eternal Life, with Christ as the Sacrifice of Atonement.
And now, notice that while the priest is in the holy of holies, he puts the censer there, and that contains the prayers that the high priest makes in favor of the people. And after everything is done and God accepts the atoning sacrifice carried by the high priest there, God will be there… notice, He said He would be there (how?) in the cloud.
In chapter 16 is where it says, in Leviticus, that is where He says… in chapter 16, verse 2, He says:
“And the Lord said unto Moses, Speak unto Aaron thy brother, that he come not at all times into the holy place within the vail before the mercy seat, which is upon the ark; that he die not: for I will appear in the cloud upon the mercy seat.”
Where would the cloud appear? Upon the mercy seat, in the holy of holies; therefore, they could not come in there at all times, only on the Day of Atonement; and with blood, with the blood of the relevant atonement.
Now, notice how in Hebrews, Saint Paul obtained that revelation there, and he tells us… Hebrews chapter 9, verses 3 and on, says:
“And after the second veil, the tabernacle which is called the Holiest of all;
Which had the golden censer, and the ark of the covenant overlaid round about with gold, wherein was the golden pot that had manna, and Aaron’s rod that budded, and the tables of the covenant;
And over it the cherubims of glory shadowing the mercyseat; of which we cannot now speak particularly.”
And now, notice that the temple that was on Earth, built by Moses, and then the other one built by Solomon, are a type and figure of the Temple which is in Heaven.
And just as that work was carried out in the earthly temple, where the high priest would enter with the blood of the goat… notice, the goat was sacrificed (where?) in the outer court, but the high priest would take the blood of the goat to the holy of holies, and he would apply it on the mercy seat.
And the Lamb of God—which is also the Goat of the Sin Offering—Jesus Christ, died here on Earth, but He took His Blood to Heaven, to the Holy of Holies; and He entered there and applied His Blood there, on the Mercy Seat.
Now, we can see how we are here in the Outer Court, on this Earth, where the lamb and the goat, which represent Jesus Christ, were sacrificed.
And now, notice how Christ goes all the way into the Holy of Holies. Saint Paul explains this here, telling us:
“Now when these things were thus ordained, the priests went always into the first tabernacle, accomplishing the service of God.
But into the second went the high priest alone once every year, not without blood, which he offered for himself, and for the errors of the people…”
For himself, well, he would offer the blood of the bullock that was sacrificed for the high priest and for his house; and after he carried out that work there in the holy of holies, of taking the blood for himself and for his house, then he would come out and take the blood of the goat: then, he would take the blood of the goat and offer it for the people, for the people’s reconciliation to God.
“But into the second went the high priest alone once…”
Let’s see:
“Now when these things were thus ordained, the priests went always into the first tabernacle, accomplishing the service of God.
But into the second went the high priest alone once every year, not without blood, which he offered for himself, and for the errors of the people:
The Holy Ghost this signifying, that the way into the holiest of all was not yet made manifest, while as the first tabernacle was yet standing:
Which was a figure for the time then present…”
Now, notice that all the things that were in the temple are symbolic, meaning, they represent things that God would have and carry out in His Program.
“Which was a figure for the time then present, in which were offered both gifts and sacrifices, that could not make him that did the service perfect, as pertaining to the conscience,” (in other words, it couldn’t make those who did that service perfect, why? Because that was the type and figure.)
“Which stood only in meats and drinks, and divers washings, and carnal ordinances, imposed on them until the time of reformation.
But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building;
Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.”
He entered into the Holy of Holies which is in Heaven with His own Blood, obtaining eternal redemption for us, eternal salvation, and reconciliation to God for us. That is what Christ has obtained by ascending to Heaven and presenting Himself as High Priest with His own Blood, which was shed on Calvary’s Cross.
And thus, notice how THE MYSTERY OF THE DAY OF ATONEMENT is materialized in the Sacrifice of Christ. And at the Last Day, Christ, just as the high priest left the holy of holies having completed all his work, Christ will leave at the Last Day having completed all His Work: having made intercession for each of the members of His mystical Body of believers, and also for the Hebrew people.
And Christ will appear to proclaim the full reconciliation of all the sons and daughters of God, and to proclaim the reconciliation of the Hebrew people to God.
And now, that reconciliation and that Work which Christ carried out will be understood by the Hebrew people; and notice what will happen: Zechariah, in chapter 12 of his Book, tells us something very important that will happen regarding the Hebrew people. Chapter 12, verse 10, says:
“And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn.
In that day shall there be a great mourning in Jerusalem, as the mourning of Hadadrimmon in the valley of Megiddon.
And the land shall mourn, every family apart; the family of the house of David apart, and their wives apart; the family of the house of Nathan apart, and their wives apart;
The family of the house of Levi apart, and their wives apart; the family of Shimei apart, and their wives apart;
All the families that remain, every family apart, and their wives apart.”
And verse 1 of chapter 13 of Zechariah says:
“In that day there shall be a fountain opened to the house of David and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem for sin and for uncleanness.”
Notice how here, at the Last Day the Hebrew people will wake up spiritually.
Now we can see why the Hebrew people have not received Christ in His First Coming, they did not receive Him, and they have not believed the Message of His First Coming either. But look, God says through the Prophet Isaiah that the Hebrew people will receive Him. In chapter 59, verses 17 to 21, the Prophet Isaiah says in the Word of God, he says:
“For he put on righteousness as a breastplate, and an helmet of salvation upon his head; and he put on the garments of vengeance for clothing, and was clad with zeal as a cloak.
According to their deeds, accordingly he will repay, fury to his adversaries, recompence to his enemies; to the islands he will repay recompence.
So shall they fear the name of the Lord from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard against him.”
The enemy, which is the antichrist, the beast, in whom the devil will be incarnated, shall come in like a flood; in other words, he will come with armies; and Christ will lift up a standard against him. In other words, Christ “shall lift up a standard against him,” this means: Christ will be manifested in His Second Coming at the Last Day, according to His promise, and that is the standard lifted up against the enemy at the Last Day.
The Second Coming of Christ is the protection for all of God’s sons and daughters among the Gentiles, for the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, and also for the Hebrew people.
“And the Redeemer shall come to Zion,” (there you have it), “and unto them that turn from transgression in Jacob, saith the Lord.
As for me, this is my covenant with them, saith the Lord; My spirit that is upon thee, and my words which I have put in thy mouth, shall not depart out of thy mouth, nor out of the mouth of thy seed, nor out of the mouth of thy seed’s seed, saith the Lord, from henceforth and for ever.”
And then chapter 60, verse 1 and on, continues, it says:
“Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee,” (it is the Coming of the Redeemer to Zion, that is the Light for the Hebrew people and also for the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ).
“For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the Lord shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.”
That is the Second Coming of Christ, coming as the rising Sun at the Last Day, as God said through Malachi chapter 4, verse 2, saying:
“But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall,” (during the Millennial Kingdom there will be great joy and happiness for all of God’s sons and daughters.)
“And ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet.”
And why will they tread down the wicked, who will be ashes under the soles of their feet? Because in the glorious Millennial Kingdom, the wicked will already be burned with atomic fire; and the volcanic ash will have covered all lands, and they will be fertile; and we will be walking on a land that has been prepared for the glorious Millennial Kingdom.
And where will the wicked be? Under the soles of our feet, they will already be turned into ashes. That is what Malachi chapter 4, verse 1, says:
“For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the Lord of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch.”
Now these prophecies sound like something catastrophic for the human race, but this is how these prophecies are for the wicked, those who do wickedly. At the Last Day, this Divine Judgment will come, just like the Divine Judgment of the flood came upon the human race that lived in the time of Noah.4 We find that no one believed that God would destroy the human race with a flood at that time; notice, with water, something so simple, which people drank every day, but now it would come in such a way that it would drown them, and thus, it would destroy that antediluvian generation.
And now, notice why that happened; our Lord Jesus Christ says, speaking about the end time, speaking about the time of the Coming of the Son of man, He says it will be as it was in the days of Noah5: where they ate, drank, married and were given in marriage, and knew not, until the flood came and took them all away, destroyed them all; so shall the Coming of the Son of man be, thus shall it be in the Day when the Son of man is revealed; that is how it will be. In other words it will be a time parallel to the time of Noah, where the human race was destroyed, and only Noah and his family escaped.
And at the Last Day, we have the prophecies that speak about the Divine Judgment that will come upon the Earth; and mankind will not understand that Jesus Christ, the Son of man, will be on Earth, manifested in His Angel-Messenger giving us His Last Message, the Message of the Gospel of the Kingdom, and preparing us to be changed and raptured at this Last Day.
But the elect will hear the Voice of God, for “he that is of God hears God’s Voice.”6 “My sheep hear My Voice, and they follow Me,”7 our beloved Lord Jesus Christ says.
Now, notice how Saint Paul was also able to obtain light on this passage of Isaiah chapter 59, verses 17 to 21; and he mentions that passage in his Letter to the Romans, in chapter 11, and he tells us the reason why the Hebrew people didn’t receive Christ in His First Coming and haven’t believed in the Gospel of Grace, haven’t believed in Christ as their Savior.
Now, notice why it is a mystery that the Hebrew people… because they were waiting for the Coming of the Messiah; He came, He was with them, and they rejected Him.
Now, Saint Paul speaks to us about that mystery in Romans chapter 11, verse *25 and on (to avoid reading too much, you can read the previous verses at home), he says:
“For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery,” (see? it’s a mystery), “lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.”
In other words, until the last elect, member of the mystical Body of the Lord Jesus Christ, has come in; meaning, until the number of the members of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ has been completed. And that number is completed, where? In the Age of the Cornerstone; because these ages already passed, they are already in the past, and only the Age of the Cornerstone is still in effect, where all of God’s elect, all of God’s sons and daughters, all the sheep of the Lord’s Fold, are called and gathered together; where are they gathered? in the mystical Body of Christ, in the stage or age of the Cornerstone, which is the age pertaining to this Last Day.
And just as there was a territory where God called and gathered His elect in each of these stages of the Gentile Church, also at the Last Day, for the fulfillment of the Age of the Cornerstone, there is a territory where God’s elect are called and gathered.
And which is that territory? And who are those people that will be called and gathered at this Last Day? Well, here we are: hearing the Voice of Christ, the Great Voice of Trumpet, and being placed in the Age of the Cornerstone and Dispensation of the Kingdom, in the mystical Body of the Lord Jesus Christ; and thus, being prepared to be changed and have the new body soon, and the dead in Christ will be raised and also have the new body, the eternal body that He has promised for each one of us.
And when will this be? When the mystical Body of Christ is completed, in other words, when the very last elect of the mystical Body of Christ in the Age of the Cornerstone comes in (which is where the last elect of the mystical Body of Jesus Christ comes in).
The ones from past ages already had their messengers, they had their Message, they had their time period, where they went into the age in which they were given to live.
And now, where is God calling His elect? In the Age of the Cornerstone, which is this age; and Christ, the Cornerstone, the Stone that the builders rejected,8 is the One who makes the call in the Age of the Cornerstone (just like He made the call in the different ages, through His seven angel-messengers, which He already sent and who had their ministries).
And now, through His Angel-Messenger in the Age of the Cornerstone, Christ, the Stone that the builders rejected, makes the last call, He makes the call to the last elect in order to complete the mystical Body of Christ, the spiritual Temple of Christ, and for the dead in Christ to rise and we who are alive to be changed; and thus reach the stature of a perfect Man, reach the image and likeness of our beloved Lord Jesus Christ.
And after this has happened: after the fullness of the Gentiles has come in, the very last elect has come in… because the fullness of the Gentiles is the mystical Body of Christ, the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ. Until the whole mystical Body of Christ has come in, all of God’s elect, when the very last elect comes in, the fullness of the Gentiles has come in.
“And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer…”
Now, notice, here Saint Paul, quoting the words given in Isaiah, shows us this mystery; and now he shows us that the Deliverer will go to Zion from where? Or rather, He will go to the Hebrew people, out of where? Zion.
And Zion spiritually represents the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ; because the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ has the promise of the Second Coming of Christ as King of kings and Lord of lords in His Claiming Work. And He claims His Church, and He claims all the rights that pertain to His Church; and therefore, He gives us the new body that He has promised for all of us.
And that is why when the Deliverer, Christ, is manifested in Zion, in His Church, carrying out the Work of calling and gathering His elect, and after making His claim over everything that belongs to us, and raising the dead in Christ and changing us who are alive: after that, it’s the Hebrew people’s turn.
That is why they have been waiting, and they have been blind to the First Coming of Christ and the Work of Redemption on Calvary’s Cross; they have been blind to the Atonement that was made back then, two thousand years ago, on Mount Calvary.
And now, notice what will happen in the Second Coming of Christ:
“There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:
For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins.”
And that includes, what? The Hebrew people’s reconciliation to God and God’s to the Hebrew people.
And thus the blessing will come to the Hebrew people, and God will be manifested among the Hebrew people; and during the Great Tribulation, the Divine Judgments will be falling upon the kingdom, the empire of the beast, of the antichrist, to remove the kingdom of the antichrist, and for the kingdoms of this world to become the Kingdoms of our Lord Jesus Christ and of His Anointed One, of His Christ;9 and thus, after the Great Tribulation, for the glorious Millennial Kingdom to begin, where we will all be in eternal bodies as kings and priests.
Now, when the Hebrew people receive Christ, notice, God said through the Prophet Zechariah in chapter 12, verse 10 and on, that the Hebrew people will mourn, they will weep; and also here, in Revelation chapter 1, verse 7, it says:
“Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.”
Now, notice how God is going to work so that the Feast of Atonement that the Hebrew people observed or carried out once a year, on the tenth day of the seventh month of each year, becomes a reality materialized among the Hebrew people.
That Feast has already been carried out by Christ on Calvary’s Cross; and now He is in the Holy of Holies, in the Temple which is in Heaven, as the high priest did when he would take the atoning blood: he would take the blood of the goat to the holy of holies and apply it on the mercy seat, where God was manifested in that cloud, in the light of the Shekinah, the cloud of the Shekinah.
And when Christ leaves the Holy of Holies which is in Heaven, the reconciliation for the Hebrew people will become a reality materialized among the Hebrew people.
Notice, they will see the Second Coming of Christ and then they will understand what the First Coming of Christ was. They will hear the Message of the Gospel of the Kingdom, and through that Message they will know the Second Coming of Christ, and through that Message—as it is preached—the history of what the First Coming of Christ was will be made known.
And thus, the Hebrew people will wake up, their spiritual eyes will be opened; and they will see what the First Coming of Christ was and what the Second Coming of Christ is; and they will weep bitterly for the sin of rejecting Christ in His First Coming, and asking for the death of Christ, of which they were accomplices; because a person who commits a crime is just as guilty as the one who plans it; and the one who planned it was the Hebrew people, and the one who executed it was the Roman empire.
So, we can see that the Hebrew people have been suffering a lot because of the death of Christ on Calvary’s Cross; because they rejected Him and asked for His death.10
And now, at the Last Day, approximately two thousand years later, the Hebrew people will feel repentant for what they did two thousand years ago to the Person of Jesus of Nazareth; and the Hebrew people will know that He was their Messiah, their King, whom they rejected. But He will speak to them with love, and He will make known to them that it was necessary for all of that to happen in order to carry out the Atonement for sin, and thus, for Christ to take out of the Gentiles a people for His Name, which is His Church; and when the fullness of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, the fullness of the Gentiles, would come in, then Christ would reveal Himself to the Hebrew people.
That is why all those who have gone to the land of Israel to turn the Hebrew people to Christ, to turn the Hebrew people (as a nation) to Christ, have failed; but there have been people from among the Hebrew people who have received Christ as their Savior as individuals, and have been blessed.
Therefore, the Work of taking the Message of the Gospel to the land of Israel has not been in vain. Those who have done so, notice, have done a great work when they have been able to get Hebrews to believe in Christ as their Savior.
But the majority of those redeemed by the Blood of Christ, who belong to the Church of Jesus Christ, have been from among the Gentiles; but since they are a people called for His Name out of all nations, that also includes some Hebrews who receive Christ as their Savior as individuals, although their nation (as a nation) did not receive Him, and still has not received Him. But they will receive Him as a nation.
And the glorious Kingdom of David, which is the Kingdom of the Messiah, where Christ will sit on the Throne of David, will be established among the Hebrew people after the Great Tribulation. And we will be there with Christ as kings and priests, reigning with Him; because He has redeemed us with His Blood, and the Work of the Day of Atonement for us has become a reality and we have been reconciled to God. In other words, the elect from among the Gentiles are reconciled to God first, and then the Hebrew people.
We have been seeing: “THE MYSTERY OF THE DAY OF ATONEMENT.”
We are living in a very glorious time, where we have been receiving the benefits of the Atonement of Christ for our sins, for our reconciliation to God. And the resurrection of the dead in Christ and the transformation of us who are alive, is one of the benefits we will obtain through Christ, because of the Atonement of Christ for our sins.
We have seen the importance of the Day of Atonement and how it has been fulfilled in our beloved Lord Jesus Christ and His Work of Redemption on Calvary’s Cross.
We will also see the other feasts, such as the Feast of Tabernacles, which is the Millennium. I already told you that when that Feast of Tabernacles is materialized, it is fulfilled in the Millennium (it is the Millennium) just as it was the seventh feast; and now that Feast is for the seventh millennium, being fulfilled as the glorious Millennial Kingdom of our beloved Lord Jesus Christ.
And we have seen how all the Work that God would carry out was reflected in the feasts, in those ordinances of feasts that He gave them, that He gave the Hebrew people, to observe, to keep, in and during the year, each one in due time.
Then we also see in Leviticus chapter 25, verses 8 to 13, where the Day of Atonement, in a very special year… the atonement, the Day of Atonement, came every year on the tenth day of the seventh month; but in the fiftieth year, something great took place on that Day of Atonement, which Christ will be materializing at this Last Day among His Church and on this Earth.
Now, this fiftieth year (fifty is pentecost) is the Divine Cycle that was reflected in the day of Pentecost; and now is reflected in the Year of Pentecost.
Now, to… when it was reflected in the day of Pentecost, well, that was fulfilled on the day of Pentecost, when one hundred and twenty people received the firstfruits of the Spirit.
And now, in the Year of Pentecost, being materialized in the Divine Program, that is when we will receive the fullness of the Spirit of God, according to His promise. And during that Divine Cycle being fulfilled among His Church, that is when the dead in Christ will rise and we who are alive will be changed. Then this Divine Cycle will be fulfilled again in the end—at the end of the Millennial Kingdom, and when mankind comes into, after Judgment Day, when the part of mankind that enters with Eternal Life, comes into eternity.
[Leviticus] chapter 25, verses 8 to 13, says:
“And thou shalt number seven sabbaths of years unto thee, seven times seven years; and the space of the seven sabbaths of years shall be unto thee forty and nine years.
Then shalt thou cause the trumpet of the jubile to sound on the tenth day of the seventh month, in the day of atonement shall ye make the trumpet sound throughout all your land.
And ye shall hallow the fiftieth year, and proclaim liberty throughout all the land unto all the inhabitants thereof: it shall be a jubile unto you; and ye shall return every man unto his possession, and ye shall return every man unto his family.
A jubile shall that fiftieth year be unto you: ye shall not sow, neither reap that which groweth of itself in it, nor gather the grapes in it of thy vine undressed.
For it is the jubile; it shall be holy unto you: ye shall eat the increase thereof out of the field.
In the year of this jubile ye shall return every man unto his possession.”
Now, this Year of Jubilee is materialized for the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ at this end time in which we are living, where, after those seven stages of the Church of Jesus Christ have passed, which, those seven stages are represented in those seven feast years that there were during forty-nine years, then we reach the fiftieth feast year (it is the fiftieth, and it is also the eighth feast year); and because it is the fiftieth feast year or the Fiftieth Year, the Year of Jubilee, because it is that feast year, it is the time in which one goes into the fullness of Eternal Life; so that after the Millennium, one can go into the fullness of Eternity.
And now, the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ comes into eternity in this Divine Cycle before the Great Tribulation begins, because—of the human beings who live on this Earth—they are the first ones that come into Eternal Life while they are alive here on Earth, plus the elect of past ages.
Now, notice how that will be materialized in the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, in the Divine Cycle that is represented in the Year of Jubilee, which is the Age of the Cornerstone.
The Age of the Cornerstone is represented in the Year of Jubilee, and eternity is also represented in the Year of Jubilee; and that is why the Age of the Cornerstone is an eternal age: the Eternal Age of Love Divine, the Eternal Age of the Lord Jesus Christ, the Stone that the builders rejected; and that is why in that age, the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ that has departed will rise in eternal bodies, and they will come into eternity in visible bodies, in glorified bodies; and we who are alive will also come into physical eternity by receiving a transformation of our bodies; and thus we will all be in the image and likeness of our beloved Lord Jesus Christ.
Now, here we have also seen the mystery of the Year of Jubilee, which takes place on the Day of Atonement.
Now, notice how important the Day of Atonement is for the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ at this Last Day: it is the time when everyone returns to his Family and to his possession, in other words, to his inheritance; and it is the Day when the Message of the Gospel of the Kingdom would be heard, the Message that proclaims liberty throughout all the Earth, the Message that announces this great deliverance that God will be carrying out with and in His children who have departed, and in us who are alive at this time; for we will return to Eternal Life in a theophanic eternal body and also in a physical eternal body, a glorified body; and thus, we will be in the image and likeness of our beloved Lord Jesus Christ.
This Day of Atonement of Jubilee Year reflects eternity, which comes after the seventh millennium, which comes after the Millennial Kingdom, and which comes after Judgment Day; and it also reflects the Age of the Cornerstone, and that is why It is represented in the number eight: because the number eight represents infinity [∞] and also eternity.
And the year of jubilee, the fiftieth year, was also the eighth feast year, when liberty was proclaimed throughout all the land, and when every man went back to his inheritance, his possession, and his family; every individual returned to his family and to his inheritance.
And now, notice where we are in the Divine Program: we are in the Divine Cycle of the Age of the Cornerstone, represented in the Day of Atonement of the fiftieth year; in other words, our age is represented in the year of jubilee; and that is when Christ will leave the Throne of Intercession at some point, so that every elect of God may return to his inheritance and to his Family, our heavenly Family, for we are put in heavenly places in Christ Jesus.11
And Saint Paul tells us… Notice, if a person hears someone say that there are human beings here, living on Earth, that are heavenly beings, they get scared and think or believe it is not true; or they think and say: “Well, it’s the aliens that are with us.”
But notice, every human being comes from another dimension, therefore, he is an alien; and God’s elect are also aliens, and our Lord Jesus Christ is also an alien. Didn’t He say: “No man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven?”12 And He also said… He also told us: “I came forth from the Father and go back to the Father, I came forth from God and go back to God.”13
And this kind of alien, notice, is not the kind that needs an airplane or a rocket to go to Heaven. When Jesus Christ went to ascend to Heaven, He said farewell to His disciples and ascended to Heaven; and a cloud made Him disappear,14 took Him to Heaven; because He was going to the seventh dimension, He was going straight to the Temple which is in Heaven, to the Holy of Holies of that Temple which is in Heaven.
And now, notice what Saint Paul tells us: chapter 15 of First Corinthians, verses 42 and on, says:
“So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption.”
Now, notice, we have come in this corruptible body and we have been sown here by God, put here in this corruptible body; but it will rise in incorruption, in other words, the saints who have departed will rise in incorruptible bodies.
“It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power.”
Because all of God’s power will be manifested there in that new body; and it will also be raised in glory, because it is raised with the theophanic body inside the physical body we will have.
“It is sown a natural body,” (this body we have is a natural body); “it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body,” (the body of Jesus Christ is a spiritual and heavenly body).
Now, notice, it goes on to say:
“There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.
And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.
Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural.”
And if a person is not faithful over a few things while he is in this natural body, then he will not be made ruler over many things; he will not be put in the heavenly, spiritual, and glorified body, because that is where the many things are, that is where the inheritance of God is being given to those people. But for those who are faithful while they are in this mortal and natural body, the promise given by Christ is: “You have been faithful over a few things…”15
Notice, being in this body is being in the few things; we only have here a time period of seventy to one hundred years; some make it past one hundred years old, but they always die; the one who lived the longest was Methuselah, and despite living that long (nine hundred and sixty-nine years),16 he still died.
And now, if someone who lived so long died, how much more will those of this generation die, whom science can only assure a normal life expectancy of about… how many years? Seventy years? Maybe less.
But notice, the Bible speaks of seventy years, and by reason of strength eighty years.17 In other words, the Bible assures human beings more time, more age, more years than science itself; because it all depends on the conditions of the world, mankind, in each time.
If there is a lot of contamination and there are many problems, and there is no solution to those problems, well, the human being’s life is shortened; but if there is a solution to those problems, then it can lengthened a bit more; but it won’t reach the age of two hundred, nor three hundred, nor five hundred, nor eight hundred, nor nine hundred and something.
Yet there is a way to reach the age of one hundred, two hundred, five hundred, one thousand, two thousand, one hundred thousand, one million, and you can continue adding there; and there is only one word that can be used: eternity. An Eternal Life for all the believers in Jesus Christ, who have received Him and have washed away their sins in the Blood of Jesus Christ and have received the Atonement of Christ and have received His Holy Spirit; it is an Eternal Life that He has promised for His children.
Christ said in Saint John chapter 6, verse 40:
“And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.”
The promise of the resurrection at the Last Day and Eternal Life is for whom? For those who have believed in our beloved Lord Jesus Christ, washed away their sins in the Blood of the Lamb, and received His Holy Spirit; and they have been changed, in other words, they have been born again; that is how one is born into the Kingdom of God, and becomes part of the mystical Body of Jesus Christ.
I am going to continue reading here, in First Corinthians chapter 15 (where we were reading), where it says:
“And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.
Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual.”
In other words, what is coming for God’s sons and daughters is that which is spiritual, it is the glorified and eternal body in which we will live for all eternity; and we will be young, representing eighteen to twenty-one years of age for all eternity, we will be in the bloom of youth.
“The first man is of the earth, earthy; the second man is the Lord from heaven,” (See that Jesus is from Heaven? He came from Heaven).
“As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly,” (who are the ones that are heavenly? God’s sons and daughters).
“And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.”
In other words, just as we have come to this Earth with a spirit of the world and a mortal and corruptible body, we will come with the image and likeness of our beloved Lord Jesus Christ: we will come with a theophanic body inside our physical and eternal body that we will receive; and thus, we will be in the image and likeness of our beloved Lord Jesus Christ.
“Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God…”
With this mortal body, we cannot inherit the Kingdom of God; we cannot obtain our inheritance while we have this mortal body. When we have the eternal body, we will have our inheritance; and we will be kings and priests on this Earth, and we will reign with Christ a thousand years and then for all eternity.
And if this planet Earth gets filled, don’t worry: at night, look at the sky, on a starry night, and you will see that there are many places where we can go when we have the new body. And those are places that God has created with a purpose, they are not just there for decoration—every place, every planet, every star and every sun—rather, they are there for a Divine Purpose.
And once we are changed and we have the new body, and we are reigning with Christ, from that point on, we will see which is the Program with that whole planetary system that God created.
All of that is part of our inheritance; and we are heirs of God and joint-heirs with Christ Jesus.18 In other words, Christ is the One who will be at the head of all the heirs, for the work that will be carried out after the Great Tribulation, and after the kingdoms of this world, once they are in the hands of Jesus Christ.
It goes on to say:
“Behold, I shew you a mystery…”
Notice:
“Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.”
In other words, this body cannot be incorruptible, because it is temporary and it is a corruptible body; therefore, it can’t live eternally without corruption setting in: it must grow old and die. But there will be some that will not see death, because when the dead in Christ rise, we who are alive and see them resurrected will be changed without seeing death; and thus, we will have the new body, we will be changed in our atoms, and that is how that promise of the transformation of our bodies will be fulfilled.
It goes on to say:
“Behold, I shew you a mystery,” (it is a mystery of the Kingdom of God), “We shall not all sleep,” (in other words, we will not all die), “but we shall all be changed,” (in other words, we are all going to have an eternal body, a glorified body, and we will all be in the image and likeness of Jesus Christ. We will all be changed, from mortal to immortal).
“In a moment,” (when?), “in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound…”
It is very important to keep this Trumpet in mind; because this is the Trumpet of the Year of Jubilee, this is the Trumpet that will be sounding, and that is the Trumpet of the Message of the Gospel of the Kingdom proclaiming the Message pertaining to the Last Day, and revealing the mystery of the Second Coming of Christ. It goes on to say:
“…And the dead,” (meaning, the dead in Christ of past ages, and some of our own who have gone on), “shall be raised incorruptible,” (in other words, in eternal bodies), “and we shall be changed.
For this corruptible,” (this corruptible body), “must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality
So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.”
And from that point on, an elect of God will never die again. And those who live on this Earth will continue to live eternally, if they are elect of God, and they are called and gathered and they hear the Voice of Christ, the Last Trumpet, which is the Message of the Gospel of the Kingdom giving the revelation, the Message of the Last Day, and proclaiming liberty in all the Earth: revealing, announcing that we have come to the time when God’s sons and daughters will be delivered, will be adopted, will be changed, and will have the eternal body, and receive God’s inheritance, which Adam and Eve lost in the garden of Eden.
“THE MYSTERY OF THE DAY OF ATONEMENT.”
All of this happens in the present-day fulfillment of the Day of Atonement among the Church of Jesus Christ, at this Last Day; all of this happens on the Year of Jubilee, on the Day of Atonement of the fiftieth year, all of that has its present-day fulfillment in the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Notice, there are two great things that God has here on Earth, and those are the two major things that God has on Earth. Do you know what they are? There is nothing greater than that: One is His Holy Spirit, and the other is the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ. Those are the two major things that Christ has, that God has, here on Earth.
So, we can see that the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ isn’t just anything, as perhaps some people have thought without realizing that God has two great things here, the greatest things: His Holy Spirit and His Church; and both things are together because His Holy Spirit is where? In His Church.
So, notice what the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ is: the place where God is (the greatest thing that exists, who is the Creator of all creation).
And now, notice how Christ has been bringing all those feasts of the Hebrew people to their present-day fulfillment, and how the Day of Atonement was pointing to something greater than an actual day in which they carried out the sacrifice of a goat: it was representing Jesus Christ and His Work of Atonement.
Christ is our Atonement. You don’t need a goat every year, as it was among the Hebrew people, to be sacrificed on the Day of Atonement for your sins, to be reconciled to God. We already have the perfect Sacrifice of Atonement, which is our beloved Lord Jesus Christ.
“THE MYSTERY OF THE DAY OF ATONEMENT.”
It has been a great privilege to be with you, testifying to you about: “THE MYSTERY OF THE DAY OF ATONEMENT.”
May the blessings of Jesus Christ, the Angel of the Covenant, our beloved Savior, be upon each of you and also upon me. And may the benefits of the Atonement of Christ be materialized in all their fullness in each one of you and also in me. And soon may we all be changed, we who are alive, and may the dead in Christ be raised, and may we all be together here on Earth in the new body; and be here for thirty to forty days, and then go to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb in Heaven, in the House of our Heavenly Father, as Christ has promised. In the Eternal Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
It has truly been a very important moment for me, this moment, speaking to you about the Day of Atonement, about that mystery; and being able to see throughout the Scripture where we are at this Last Day; and to see that we have the Atonement, we have Christ, our Atonement for sin.
Let’s ask Rev. Miguel Bermúdez Marín to come up here to continue.
I thank God because here in Latin America and the Caribbean, and here in Guatemala, God has people who have received the Atonement of the Day of Atonement in its present-day fulfillment, materialized, fulfilled in Jesus Christ, and we have been reconciled to God.
And now our soul and our spirit is reconciled to God. And soon we will have the physical body He has promised, which will be eternal, to live for all eternity, reconciled with God for all eternity.
May God bless you and keep you. And let’s ask Miguel to come up here to continue and conclude our participation on this occasion.
May God bless you and keep you all.
