Good evening, beloved friends and brethren present here in this beautiful city of Arequipa. It is a great privilege to be with you on this occasion, to share some moments of fellowship around the subject: “THE MYSTERY OF THE FOURTH WATCH.”
For this reason, I want to read in Saint Matthew chapter 14, verse 22 and on. This happened after Jesus fed five thousand people, not including children and women. Chapter 14, verse 22 and on, says:
“And straightway Jesus constrained his disciples to get into a ship, and to go before him unto the other side, while he sent the multitudes away.
And when he had sent the multitudes away, he went up into a mountain apart to pray: and when the evening was come, he was there alone.
But the ship was now in the midst of the sea, tossed with waves: for the wind was contrary.
And in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went unto them, walking on the sea.
And when the disciples saw him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, It is a spirit; and they cried out for fear.
But straightway Jesus spake unto them, saying, Be of good cheer; it is I; be not afraid.”
May God bless our hearts, our souls, with His Word, and allow us to understand It.
We find that the things Jesus did—in addition to the literal meaning they had at the time in which they were carried out—also have a prophetic meaning of things that will happen; because they are a type and figure of events that will later take place in the Divine Program.
That is why we find that events that the Hebrew people went through, and also Adam, and also Enoch, Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, the patriarchs and so forth, we find that after they went through those experiences, those were prophetic types and figures of events that would take place in the Divine Program later on.
For example, we find Abraham having a son named Isaac, that was a real event in the life of Abraham and Sarah;1 but notice that later this great event was also a prophetic type and figure of the Coming of the Son of Abraham, the Seed of Abraham, which is Christ, our beloved Lord Jesus Christ.
And we also find King David, who is a type and figure of Christ; and we also find Solomon, the son of David, who is also a type and figure of Christ; because Christ as Son of David will sit on the Throne of David, and reign a thousand years and then for all eternity.
So, the One who would prophetically sit on the Throne of David to have the glorious Millennial Kingdom and reign for all eternity would not be King Solomon, the son of David according to the flesh, but rather, our beloved Lord Jesus Christ.
Now, notice how events that took place in the past, later on, because they were prophetic events, are then prophetically fulfilled, because those prophecies that were fulfilled back then have multiple fulfillments in the Divine Program.
And now, for example, notice the Hebrew people being delivered from Egypt by God. We find that God delivered the Hebrew people through the Prophet Moses, and out of Egypt God called His son Israel as a nation; because the Hebrew people as a nation are the daughter or son people or nation of God, because there is no other earthly nation called the nation of God except the Hebrew people.
And now, we find that the prophecy: “Out of Egypt have I called my son,” which we find was fulfilled in the Hebrew people, who would be called out of a land that is not theirs, where they would live as slaves, we find that later on, in Hosea chapter 11, verse 1, it says: “[I] called my son out of Egypt,” referring to the Hebrew people, making known to the Hebrew people that historical part.
But now, when Christ, who was born there in Bethlehem of Judea and was already about two years old, King Herod would order to find and kill children who were two years old and under, in order to kill the Messiah; but the Archangel Gabriel appeared to Joseph, and told him: “Look, go to Egypt until I tell you so, and stay there until I tell you; because Herod will seek the young child to destroy Him.”2
And he left that same night; Joseph rose, he took the child Jesus, and Mary, and departed into Egypt. And when King Herod sent his army to kill all the children who were two years old and under,3 Jesus was already in Egypt with Joseph and Mary; and thus, He escaped from the hands of King Herod.
Many children died because the king was looking for the child Jesus, the king of Israel. And notice, he had no consideration of the fact that He was a child; for there was no political or religious consideration from King Herod, because he didn’t feel that way about children, much less about a child who would be the king of the Hebrew people.
Therefore, King Herod would cease to be king; and he already ceased to be king; but Christ will be King over the Hebrew people and over all nations. So, although he looked for the child Jesus so that He wouldn’t become King, notice, He will be King for the Millennium and for all eternity.
And what will become of Herod? Well, he already ceased to be king; and he will go to the lake of fire when he is judged and condemned; but in the meantime, he is in the fifth dimension, which is hell.
Or do you think there is a better place for King Herod? If there is, it isn’t ready for King Herod yet. Do you know which is the place that is better than hell for King Herod? The lake of fire; and later on, well, he will also have that.
Now, notice that when King Herod died and those who were seeking the young child to destroy Him, the other people who, along with King Herod, wanted to kill the child, we find that the Archangel Gabriel says to Joseph: “Now take the young child and his mother, and go back to the land of Israel, go back to your land.”4
And notice, he didn’t go to Bethlehem of Judea, rather, he went to Nazareth, where Joseph and Mary had lived before going to Bethlehem of Judea for the census or tax, to be registered there, where our beloved Lord Jesus Christ was born; because Joseph and Mary were descendants of King David, therefore, they were from that city of Bethlehem of Judea.
And now, notice how God hid this mystery of the First Coming of Christ both from the political world and also from the religious world. And through earthly wisdom, through human, religious, or political wisdom, or other human knowledge, no one could know the First Coming of the Messiah; only by revelation from on High.
When Christ asked on one occasion: “Whom do men say that I, the Son of man, am?”5
Some said: “Well, some say that You are John the Baptist who has risen, and that is why those great miracles are performed through You. Others say that You are one of the prophets who has risen, like Elijah or some other prophet.”
And Christ asks them: “And you? Whom do you say that I, the Son of man, am?”
Peter said: “You?! You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”
Jesus says: “Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood has not revealed it to you,” (in other words, you didn’t learn it in a seminary or in an institute, you didn’t learn it through the high priest or through a teacher of Israel), “flesh and blood have not revealed it to you, but my Father which is in Heaven.”
In other words, through the revelation from Heaven, given by God, by the Heavenly Father, people could know who Jesus Christ was, they could know that He was the Messiah, the King of Israel.
Other people had their opinions: “It seems like He is John the Baptist who has risen.” Others said: “It seems like He is another one of the prophets; He could be Elijah, or He could be Moses, or He could be Jeremiah, or He could be Ezekiel.”
And so on, everyone had his own opinion; but the followers of Christ had the revelation from Heaven to know that Jesus was the Messiah, the King of Israel promised to come at that time and carry out the Work pertaining to that time.
And now, the life of Jesus, with all the events in the life of Jesus, which were real, we then find that they are a type and figure of the events that will be fulfilled in the Church of Jesus Christ with the messengers of Jesus Christ too.
And notice, the events of the life of Jesus also reflect the Second Coming of Christ.
Now, notice here, on this occasion when Jesus is walking on the Sea of Galilee, and the disciples are in a ship, and contrary winds are tossing the ship, and nearly destroying it, they are about to sink that ship: we find that Christ appears to His disciples around the fourth watch; around the fourth watch, He appears to His disciples, walking on the sea:
“And in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went unto them, walking on the sea.”
And the disciples thought it was a what? A spirit or ghost; but it was our beloved Lord Jesus Christ. They were all troubled, saying that it was a spirit, and cried out for fear, in other words, they were filled with fear under that storm, and there in the sea, where there were no possibility to be saved; but notice, Jesus appeared walking on the sea, and said to them:
“But straightway Jesus spake unto them, saying, Be of good cheer; it is I; be not afraid.”
Here Jesus identifies Himself as the I Am, as the I Am of the Old Testament. Every time Jesus says: “I Am,” He is using the same term that God used when Moses asked Him: “What is Your Name?” When he asked God what His Name was, and God said to him: “I Am. And you shall say to the people: I Am has sent me to you.”6 There we find the consonants that the Hebrew people have had, without being able to pronounce them, without being able to pronounce them in the form of a name.
Now, it is said that in the Old Testament, when the high priest entered once a year on the Day of Atonement, on the tenth day of each month, when he took the blood of the atoning sacrifice, the sacrifice of the goat: he would enter into the holy of holies, apply that blood there, and pronounce that Name of God; that Name which was secret, and once a year It was pronounced in the holy of holies.
In the holy of holies is where that Name is, because that is where the Angel of the Lord, the Angel of the Covenant, is manifested: in the holy of holies, upon the ark of the covenant, upon the mercy seat, between the two cherubims of gold.
That is the place where the Eternal Name of God is; because that is where the Angel of the Lord, the Angel of the Covenant, is manifested (both in the tabernacle Moses made and in the temple Solomon made, as well as in the spiritual Temple of our beloved Lord Jesus Christ).
Because there in Heaven, in the Temple which is in Heaven, in the Holy of Holies of the Temple which is in Heaven, there on the Throne, is where God is sitting on His Throne, and where the Eternal Name of God is.
And now, notice how our Lord Jesus Christ identifies Himself as the I Am, and tells them: “Be not afraid.” In a moment of fear, of fear and of a squeeze, is when Christ appears to them walking on the sea, and when He identifies Himself as the I Am, and tells them: “Be not afraid.”
When people say “Don’t be afraid,” that is because there is danger, that is because it is a difficult moment; otherwise, there would be no reason why, there would be no reason to say: “Don’t be afraid.”
Now, this event that happened under the time of the ministry of Jesus Christ, which was real at that time, is now a type and figure of an important event in the Divine Program at the Last Day.
Notice that it was in the fourth watch. We find that the fourth watch is from 6:00 to 9:00 in the morning.
- The first watch is from 9:00 to 12:00 at night;
- the second is from 12:00 to 3:00 in the morning;
- the third is from 3:00 in the morning to 6:00 in the morning;
- and the fourth is from 6:00 to 9:00 in the morning.
Notice how when our beloved Lord Jesus Christ rose, it was the fourth watch; for He rose on the morning of Easter or Resurrection Sunday, in the fourth watch.
When one hundred and twenty were there in one accord on the day of Pentecost, and they had already been there in the upper room for ten days: on the day of Pentecost, in the morning, we find that the Holy Spirit came upon one hundred and twenty people. And that was also in the fourth watch; because when Saint Peter preached the first message there, he told those who were present there… we find that they wondered, “What does this mean?” and others said, “They are drunk,” that is, “they are full of new wine.”
The Book of Acts, chapter 2, verse 14 and on, says:
“But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said unto them, Ye men of Judaea, and all ye that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and hearken to my words:
For these are not drunken, as ye suppose, seeing it is but the third hour of the day.”
And which is the third hour of the day? The third hour of the day is from 8:00 to 9:00 in the morning.
- Because from 6:00 to 7:00 in the morning is the first hour;
- from 7:00 in the morning to 8:00 in the morning is the second hour;
- and from 8:00 in the morning to 9:00 in the morning is the third hour.
And it was the third hour: from 8:00 to 9:00 in the morning, when Saint Peter preached the first message there on the day of Pentecost, and they were already filled with the Holy Spirit.
Now, we don’t know for how many minutes or how many hours they had already been filled with the Holy Spirit, but it was in the fourth watch.
And now, notice how the fourth watch has great blessings for all the sons and daughters of God.
When we are told about the Second Coming of Christ, in the Scripture the question is asked whether it will be in the first watch or in the second watch, and likewise, the question is asked in which of the watches the Coming of the Lord will be fulfilled.
For example, in Saint Mark chapter 13, verses 34 to 37, it says:
“For the Son of Man is as a man taking a far journey, who left his house, and gave authority to his servants, and to every man his work, and commanded the porter to watch.
Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning…”
The seven stages or ages of the Gentile Church pertain to the night time, they pertain to the evening time, to the time of midnight, and to the time of the cockcrowing; but in the morning, that pertains to the Age of the Cornerstone and Dispensation of the Kingdom, and that is the fourth watch.
It says:
“Lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping.
And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch.”
Watch, for what? For the Second Coming of Christ, for the Coming of our beloved Lord Jesus Christ.
We find that Saint Luke also spoke to us about this great event, where he tells us to be ready. Chapter 12, verse 35 and on, says:
“Let your loins be girded about, and your lights burning;
And ye yourselves like unto men that wait for their lord, when he will return from the wedding; that when he cometh and knocketh, they may open unto him immediately.
Blessed are those servants, whom the lord when he cometh shall find watching: verily I say unto you, that he shall gird himself, and make them to sit down to meat, and will come forth and serve them.
And if he shall come in the second watch, or come in the third watch, and find them so, blessed are those servants.
And this know, that if the goodman of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched, and not have suffered his house to be broken through.
Be ye therefore ready also: for the Son of man cometh at an hour when ye think not.”
And when it says: “…At an hour when ye think not,” that is referring to the hour of one of these watches: the first, second, third, or fourth watch.
And if He didn’t come in any of the hours of the first watch, that is, represented in the watches from 9:00 to 12:00 at night; nor in the watch from 12:00 to 3:00 in the morning; nor in the watch from 3:00 to 6:00 in the morning; if He didn’t come in any of those watches nor in any of the hours of those watches; if He didn’t come in any of those ages, then in which hour and in which watch would the Coming of the Lord be? Well, it would be in the fourth watch.
And in the fourth watch, notice, He comes in the fourth watch as the Sun of Righteousness. Malachi chapter 4, verse 2, says:
“But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.”
How is He coming? As the rising of the Sun of Righteousness. It says: “Unto those who fear My Name shall the Sun of Righteousness arise.” When does It rise? It rises in the fourth watch, It rises in the first hour of the fourth watch.
And now, notice, when Christ spoke to His disciples in Saint Matthew chapter 16, verses 27 to 28, He said:
“For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works.
Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom.”
And chapter 17, which is the next chapter after verse 28 of Saint Matthew chapter 16, says:
“And after six days Jesus taketh Peter, James, and John his brother, and bringeth them up into an high mountain apart,
And was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light.
And, behold, there appeared unto them Moses and Elias talking with him.
Then answered Peter, and said unto Jesus, Lord, it is good for us to be here: if thou wilt, let us make here three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias.
While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him.”
Now, notice how His face shone as the sun. When the sun comes out, it’s daytime; when the sun rises, well, the day is breaking, a new day is breaking.
And the days of the week represent ages and also represent dispensations; that is why there are only seven ages of the Gentile Church during the Dispensation of Grace. And there were seven ages of the Hebrew Church under the Law. And there are seven dispensations, only seven dispensations.
Notice how God reflected the dispensations and the ages: He reflected them in the days of the week; and that is also why we also find that God established to the Hebrew people that every seven years, the seventh year would be a year of rest for all the land.7
Notice how God is reflecting—in these natural things that the human being comes in contact with every day, we find that He is reflecting His Program.
And now, notice, the seventh day of the week and the seventh year, which was also a Sabbath year, we find that it represents the glorious Millennial Kingdom of our beloved Lord Jesus Christ.
And notice how Christ would be fulfilling what has been reflected in each day of the week, and in each year of the years that passed among the Hebrew people, every seven years was a Sabbath year.
And now, we find that throughout forty-nine years there would be seven feast years or Sabbath years of rest for all the land; a type and figure of the seven stages or ages of the Gentile Church, and also a type and figure of dispensations.
And now, notice how these things would be completely opened at the Last Day, and we would understand these things, and we would understand that after the forty-nine years would come the fiftieth year, which is the year of jubilee; the fiftieth year, the year of jubilee, would come right after the forty-ninth year, which is also the seventh feast year.
And now, that is a type and figure of eternity, because the number eight represents infinity [∞] and eternity.
And now, notice how after the seven stages or ages of the Gentile Church, which take place during the night time, then comes the morning time, when the fourth watch is manifested, and then comes the Age of the Cornerstone, the age represented in the year of jubilee, an eternal age: the eternal age for the Church of Jesus Christ, to have—in that age and in that fourth watch, to have the Coming of Jesus Christ, the Sun of Righteousness.
And now, notice how, just as He walked on the sea approximately two thousand years ago, in the fourth watch, let’s see in the Book of Revelation how we also find Him with His foot upon the sea, walking on the sea. Revelation chapter 10, verse 1 and on, says:
“And I saw another mighty angel come down from heaven, clothed with a cloud: and a rainbow was upon his head, and his face was as it were the sun, and his feet as pillars of fire:
And he had in his hand a little book open: and he set his right foot upon the sea, and his left foot on the earth…”
We see Him there with one foot upon the sea: the right foot, and with the left foot on the earth; in other words, He comes walking, walking on the sea; and if He is walking on the sea, well, He has to reach a solid place. One foot on the earth and the other upon the sea; in other words, what He did back then, approximately two thousand years ago, is a type and figure of this great event of Revelation chapter 10.
And now, where is the sea that He walks on? And where is the earth that He walks on? In order for us to understand the Book of Revelation, we have to understand what waters or the sea mean, and so on. To do that, we have to look in the Book of Revelation, in chapter 17, verse 15 and on; and we also have to look in Revelation chapter 13, where it speaks to us about the sea and the earth.
For example, in Revelation chapter 13, verse 1 and on, it says:
“And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.
And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority.”
Now, that is the kingdom of the antichrist, where the devil will be incarnate in the false prophet, in the antichrist, in the man of sin. Now, notice how that beast rises up, out of where? Out of the sea.
And now, in Revelation also in chapter 13, verse 11, it says:
“And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon.
And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein,” (on the Earth), “to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.”
Now notice, a beast rises up out of the sea and another beast comes up out of the earth.
And now, let’s see in Revelation chapter 17, verse 15 and on, it says:
“And he saith unto me, The waters which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues.”
Waters or the sea or seas here, refer to nations, people, and tongues, which already existed at that time.
And when it tells us here, in Revelation chapter 13, about this beast that comes up out of the earth, that is telling us about a territory where people weren’t living as nations, as peoples yet; in other words, a territory where there were no nations established.
And now, when it tells us about Christ setting one foot upon the sea and the other on the earth, that is telling us about territories where there were individuals, nations, peoples, and tongues; and also, when it tells us about one foot on the earth, that us telling us about a territory where, at that time, there were no nations (in other words, a nation had not been formed).
And now, Christ’s feet of brass here, notice, are the feet of brass or like brass. It says… let’s start a bit before that [Revelation 10:1]:
“…And his feet as pillars of fire.”
There are the feet of brass, which are shown here in Revelation chapter 1, verse 15, where it says:
“…And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace…” (those are the feet of Christ, of the Son of man).
Now, since this vision of the Son of man that John the Apostle had is shown with these attributes of Christ, all those things that John saw don’t actually mean that now Jesus Christ—instead of having feet of flesh and bone, now He has feet of brass. No, it doesn’t mean that.
What that means is: the ministries of the Divine Judgment, which are the ministries of Moses and Elijah; because brass represents the Divine Judgment, and God’s prophets are the Divine Judgment.
Now, notice, when we also see His eyes as a flame of fire, what is this speaking or prophesying to us about? It is speaking or prophesying to us about the ministries of Moses and Elijah too; because eyes here in Revelation represent men; and here the eyes of the Lamb, of the Son of man, are the prophetic ministries of Moses and Elijah.
And now, that is why we find that He comes in Revelation chapter 10, He comes with His face as the sun. Why? Because He comes in the fourth watch, He comes as the rising Sun, the fourth watch of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ in the Divine Program; and then He comes with His feet as pillars of fire.
He had a little Book opened in His hand: that is the Title Deed that He took in Heaven, in Revelation chapter 5; and He opened It in Revelation chapter 6, verse 1 and on (verse 1 to 17), and then Revelation chapter 8, verse 1. And then, in Revelation chapter 10, He already brings It open in His hands, to give It to the human race, to those redeemed with His Blood, His precious Blood. And by that time, the Angel of the Lord Jesus Christ must be among the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ.
All of that was represented back then. John the Apostle represents the Church of Jesus Christ with His messengers going through the different stages; up to this stage, where he sees the Coming of the Son of man, and where he sees that He comes with the little Book open in His hand, and he sees Him coming with His feet like burning brass, and he sees Him coming with His eyes as a flame of fire, and he sees Him coming with His face as the sun, and with the rainbow upon His head, and he sees Him and hears Him crying out as when a lion roars and seven thunders utter their voices.
All of that is what would be materialized at the Last Day in the Divine Program; in other words, fulfilled. All those types and figures would be fulfilled at this end time.
Now, notice what all of this means.
And now, the Seven Thunders of Revelation chapter 10, verse 3 to 4, is the Voice of Christ as the Lion of the tribe of Judah, as King of kings and Lord of lords, as the Mighty Angel coming down from Heaven and giving us His last Message, His Message of the Last Trumpet or Great Voice of Trumpet, which is the Voice of Christ in Revelation chapter 1, verses 10 to 11, where it says:
“I was in the Spirit on the Lord’s day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet,
Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last.”
Who is the Alpha and Omega, who is the first and the last? Well, our beloved Lord Jesus Christ. He, on the Lord’s Day, at the Last Day, which is the seventh millennium, would be speaking to us with that Great Voice of Trumpet and would be making known to us all these things which must shortly come to pass.
And notice, for this to be fulfilled, He must have a veil of flesh here on Earth, to make known these things through him, to speak to His Church through him with that Noise of Thunder of the Seven Thunders.
Revelation 4, verse 1, says:
“After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter.”
Christ promises to show His Church, His children, to go up to where He will be at the Last Day, in other words, to go up to the age where He will be (which is the Age of the Cornerstone); He promises to show Her all these things which will happen.
And now, He must have a veil of flesh, an instrument, a Prophet on Earth, to show His Church all these things through him; He must have an Angel-Messenger. And here in Revelation 22, verse 6, it shows this, it says:
“And he said unto me, These sayings are faithful and true: and the Lord God of the holy prophets sent his angel to shew unto his servants the things which must shortly be done.”
It’s through His Angel-Messenger, who is the last prophet, the Prophet of the Dispensation of the Kingdom and the Age of the Cornerstone, that Jesus Christ in Holy Spirit manifests Himself and makes known to us at this Last Day all these things which must shortly be done; and He fulfills all these attributes of the Sun shining, His face shining as the sun; His eyes shining as a flame of fire; and His feet like fine brass; and all these types and figures that were shown back then in the Son of man.
And now, He makes known to us all these things through His Angel-Messenger, and their fulfillment as they are being fulfilled. Revelation 22, verse 16, tells us:
“I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches.”
Whom does it say He has sent? His Angel-Messenger. What for? To testify these things. Which things? These things which must shortly come to pass, at the Last Day.
We have reached the end time, we have reached the fourth watch, we have reached the time for Christ to be fulfilling all these things that were shown back then in the fourth watch.
And all those attributes that were seen in the Son of man must be manifested at this Last Day, in the fourth watch, so that we all see the meaning of these great attributes being fulfilled in the Divine Program, in the manifestation of Jesus Christ in Holy Spirit through His Angel-Messenger.
Christ is the One who has these attributes and the One who manifests them at the Last Day; and thus, He lets us see the fulfillment of all these things which must shortly come to pass, at the Last Day; and He shows us the things which must happen in the fourth watch; where we would be seeing the Mighty Angel, Jesus Christ, with one foot upon the sea and the left foot on the earth, as He was seen on the Sea of Galilee in the fourth watch, walking on the Sea of Galilee.
Now, we find that anyone can say: “But, I see both of Jesus’ feet on the sea, there in the fourth watch.” What happened was that you didn’t see when He came walking on the earth, and when He lifted up one foot and put it on the sea and His left foot was on the earth: one foot on the earth and the other on the sea, and then (notice) He continues to walk.
Now, we can see how this whole Divine Program is materialized at this Last Day.
Notice that the feet of the Lord are the ones that walk on the sea. And the feet in Revelation chapter 1 and chapter 10, are of brass; in other words, they are the ministries of Moses and Elijah, those ministries put before peoples, multitudes, and tongues, at the Last Day, to prophesy all these things which must shortly come to pass at this end time; over territories that had people at the time of John the Apostle, and over territories which didn’t have people at that time, which didn’t have nations living in them, but at this Last Day those territories would be populated.
Now, we can see the Divine Program and THE MYSTERY OF THE FOURTH WATCH.
And here we are at this end time, in the fourth watch, to see all those things that were seen in the fourth watch, when our Lord Jesus Christ appeared to His disciples, where they truly had the need to have Jesus Christ among them.
And then He entered into the ship, and the whole storm was still, and the danger that the ship of the disciples of Jesus Christ was facing, which He had walked on, traveled on in other occasions, and which He entered into again, we find that all danger disappeared.
And that is how it is at this end time, when we who are alive will be changed, and the dead in Christ will be raised in incorruptible bodies, and all danger will disappear, and we will go with Christ to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb.
Where are the people who would be seeing Christ coming in the fourth watch, walking on the sea and on the Earth, walking with one foot upon the sea—the right foot upon the sea and the left foot on the Earth? Well, here we are, in Latin America and the Caribbean; a territory that in other times, in the times of Saint John the Apostle, were not inhabited the way they are now.
But now these Latin American and Caribbean territories are inhabited, where Christ would be walking in His Second Coming manifested in human flesh; and we would be seeing Jesus Christ manifested in Holy Spirit through His Angel-Messenger walking among the Latin American and Caribbean people, and making known to us all these things which must shortly come to pass at this Last Day, in the fourth watch.
“THE MYSTERY OF THE FOURTH WATCH.”
We have to stop here; but if we had time, we would see many other great and important things in the Divine Program that took place in the fourth watch.
At which time… in which hour did the Angel of the Lord bless Jacob? The Angel told him, “Let me go, for the day is breaking.”8 Isn’t that the fourth watch? And Israel, at this Last Day, in the fourth watch, when a dispensation Day is breaking: the Dispensation of the Kingdom, and when a new millennial Day is breaking: the seventh millennium, the Angel of the Lord manifested in His Angel-Messenger will bless Israel, the spiritual Jacob: the Church of Jesus Christ; and the earthly Jacob: the Hebrew people.
Well, let’s leave that alone, let’s leave that for another occasion; because if we start explaining all of that, we would have to travel during the fourth watch in the morning, to the place we will go. So, we have to travel tonight, in a few minutes.
May God continue to bless you all, may God keep you.
It has been a great privilege to be with you here in Arequipa, Peru, testifying to you about the fourth watch and everything that fourth watch represents in types and figures for the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ at this Last Day.
May the blessings of Jesus Christ, the Angel of the Covenant, in this spiritual fourth watch of the Church of Jesus Christ, may the blessings of Jesus Christ the Angel of the Covenant be upon each one of you and also upon me. And may we all be changed, and go to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb, in the House of our Heavenly Father. In the Eternal Name of our beloved Lord Jesus Christ, the Angel of the Covenant. Amen.
May God bless you and keep you all.
Have a good evening. I will leave the minister here with us again to continue and conclude this service as planned.
May God bless you and keep you all.
