Good morning, beloved friends and brethren present. It is a great blessing to be with you on this occasion, to share these moments of spiritual fellowship around the Word of God.
On this occasion, our subject will be: “THE MYSTERY OF THE BIRTHRIGHT BLESSINGS.”
THE MYSTERY OF THE BIRTHRIGHT BLESSINGS is our subject for this occasion, and in order to understand it, we need to go to the Old Testament, to [Genesis] chapter 25, verse 27 and on (27 to 34), where Jacob buys the Birthright. It says the following… Let’s start on verse 24, to see who it’s referring to here. It says:
“And when her days to be delivered were fulfilled, behold, there were twins in her womb.
And the first came out red, all over like an hairy garment; and they called his name Esau.
And after that came his brother out, and his hand took hold on Esau’s heel; and his name was called Jacob: and Isaac was threescore years old when she bare them,” (meaning, when his wife gave birth to them).
“And the boys grew: and Esau was a cunning hunter, a man of the field; and Jacob was a plain man, dwelling in tents.
And Isaac loved Esau, because he did eat of his venison: but Rebekah loved Jacob.
And Jacob sod pottage: and Esau came from the field, and he was faint:
And Esau said to Jacob, Feed me, I pray thee, with that same red pottage; for I am faint: therefore was his name called Edom.
And Jacob said, Sell me this day thy birthright.
And Esau said, Behold, I am at the point to die: and what profit shall this birthright do to me?
And Jacob said, Swear to me this day; and he sware unto him: and he sold his birthright unto Jacob.
Then Jacob gave Esau bread and pottage of lentiles; and he did eat and drink, and rose up, and went his way: thus Esau despised his birthright.”
May God bless our hearts with His Word and allow us to understand It.
Throughout Biblical history, we find that there were people who fought to have the Birthright Blessing.
Among the Hebrew people, the firstborn would receive a double portion of the inheritance, and the rest of his brothers would receive a single portion, and most of the time they would sell it, they would sell their part to the firstborn, and they would continue working on that same estate they obtained from their father; but they almost always sold their rights to the firstborn, and the firstborn would become the owner, in most cases, of the whole inheritance, because he would inherit a double portion and he almost always bought his siblings’ parts.
And now, notice how important the Birthright Blessing is, because there are great blessings in the Birthright, blessings of inheritance, and the firstborn is the one who occupies the position his father had when he was alive. That is why you find that even though Abraham had more sons, Isaac is the one who received the Birthright Blessing and inherited Abraham.
Abraham had prayed to God on one occasion because he didn’t have a son, and Abraham said: “My servant will be my heir, my servant Eliezer will be my heir because I have no seed.” But God told him: “Your servant will not be your heir, rather, a son you will have through Sarah will be your heir.”
In Genesis chapter 15, it tells us about this, and it says the following (verse 1 and on, says):
“After these things the word of the Lord came unto Abram in a vision…”
Notice, his name had not been changed yet, these two letters (in English) that were later added [to his name] had not been added yet. It says… then God…:
“After these things the word of the Lord came unto Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram: I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward.
And Abram said, Lord God, what wilt thou give me, seeing I go childless, and the steward of my house is this Eliezer of Damascus?
And Abram said, Behold, to me thou hast given no seed: and, lo, one born in my house is mine heir.
And, behold, the word of the Lord came unto him, saying, This shall not be thine heir; but he that shall come forth out of thine own bowels shall be thine heir.
And he brought him forth abroad, and said, Look now toward heaven, and tell the stars, if thou be able to number them: and he said unto him, So shall thy seed be.
And he believed in the Lord; and he counted it to him for righteousness.
And he said unto him, I am the Lord that brought thee out of Ur of the Chaldees, to give thee this land to inherit it.
And he said, Lord God, whereby shall I know that I shall inherit it?
And he said unto him, Take me an heifer of three years old, and a she goat of three years old, and a ram of three years old, and a turtledove, and a young pigeon.
And he took unto him all these, and divided them in the midst, and laid each piece one against another: but the birds divided he not.
And when the fowls came down upon the carcases, Abram drove them away.
And when the sun was going down, a deep sleep fell upon Abram; and, lo, an horror of great darkness fell upon him.
And he said unto Abram, Know of a surety that thy seed shall be a stranger in a land that is not theirs, and shall serve them; and they shall afflict them four hundred years;
And also that nation, whom they shall serve, will I judge: and afterward shall they come out with great substance.
And thou shalt go to thy fathers in peace; thou shalt be buried in a good old age.
But in the fourth generation they shall come hither again: for the iniquity of the Amorites is not yet full.
And it came to pass, that, when the sun went down, and it was dark, behold a smoking furnace, and a burning lamp that passed between those pieces.
In the same day the Lord made a covenant with Abram, saying, Unto thy seed have I given this land, from the river of Egypt unto the great river, the river Euphrates:
The Kenites, and the Kenizzites, and the Kadmonites,
And the Hittites, and the Perizzites, and the Rephaims,
And the Amorites, and the Canaanites, and the Girgashites, and the Jebusites.”
Here we can see how God appeared to Abraham, who was already well stricken in age; because Abraham left his land when he was seventy-five years old, and now he is already in the land he would inherit. And when he is there, notice, once he is there God deals with Abraham this way, showing him that he will have a son and that it will be through his wife Sarah, and that a slave will not be his heir, a slave-steward; because slaves don’t inherit the inheritance of the children; therefore, a slave cannot inherit, and neither can a servant.
A child has to be the one who inherits his father’s inheritance, and who continues that lineage of his father’s seed, because a father has a seed through his child; not through a slave, but through a child.
And now, we can see that this blessing that pertained to the Birthright was in danger if Abraham didn’t have a son, and Abraham was already very worried.
But God told him that he would have a son, and Abraham believed God, and when Abraham believed that promise, Abraham already had that son, even though that promise had not been materialized yet, he already had what he needed; for things which are seen were not made of things which appear.1
Therefore, Abraham already had that promise which comes from the seventh dimension and goes through the sixth dimension, and there Abraham caught it, he got a hold of it, and all that was left was the materialization of that promise. And for that promise to be materialized, Abraham’s name had to be changed, but Abraham already had that promise inside him, made flesh; but his name had to be changed, which took place later on, when God spoke to him in chapter 17, verse 4 and on, when Abraham was already eighty-six years old or older, that is, he was ninety-nine years old, he was already ninety-nine years old. [Genesis] chapter 17 says:
“And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the Lord appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect.
And I will make my covenant between me and thee, and will multiply thee exceedingly.
And Abram fell on his face: and God talked with him, saying,
As for me, behold, my covenant is with thee, and thou shalt be a father of many nations.
Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I made thee.”
Here an “H” and an “A” were added to Abram. An “A” was added, and an “H.” And it goes on to say:
“And I will make thee exceeding fruitful, and I will make nations of thee, and kings shall come out of thee.
And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee, and to thy seed after thee.
And I will give unto thee, and to thy seed after thee, the land wherein thou art a stranger, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession; and I will be their God.
And God said unto Abraham, Thou shalt keep my covenant therefore, thou, and thy seed after thee in their generations.”
Here we find the covenant that was given to Abraham. It says:
“This is my covenant, which ye shall keep, between me and you and thy seed after thee; Every man child among you shall be circumcised.
And ye shall circumcise the flesh of your foreskin; and it shall be a token of the covenant betwixt me and you.
And he that is eight days old shall be circumcised among you, every man child in your generations, he that is born in the house, or bought with money of any stranger, which is not of thy seed.
He that is born in thy house, and he that is bought with thy money, must needs be circumcised: and my covenant shall be in your flesh for an everlasting covenant.
And the uncircumcised man child whose flesh of his foreskin is not circumcised, that soul shall be cut off from his people; he hath broken my covenant.
And God said unto Abraham, As for Sarai thy wife, thou shalt not call her name Sarai, but Sarah shall her name be.”
In English, well, an “H” was added, and then… although the “H” is silent, in English it has that “H” at the end. Here in Spanish it doesn’t have the “H,” but an “I” was removed, the letter “I” at the end, and it was left without the letter “I.”
Now, it goes on to say:
“And I will bless her, and give thee a son also of her: yea, I will bless her, and she shall be a mother of nations; kings of people shall be of her.” (Listen to this closely: ‘kings of people shall be of her.’)
“Then Abraham fell upon his face, and laughed, and said in his heart, Shall a child be born unto him that is an hundred years old?”
Now, notice, he was ninety-nine years old, and why does he say: “Unto him that is a hundred years old”? Because if he was ninety-nine, once Sarah became pregnant, then he would already be about one hundred years old, and he still had to be rejuvenated; therefore, let’s say there were about three months left for all of that to be fulfilled, and then for Sarah to be pregnant and have the nine months of pregnancy by the time Abraham was one hundred years old, by the time Abraham was living in his second jubilee; because the first jubilee is the fiftieth year, and the second jubilee is the one hundredth year.
Now, notice that in the second jubilee, Abraham obtained the promised son, the one who would inherit all things. Now, notice that this coincides with the year of jubilee that God gave the Hebrew people.
We find that in the first Jubilee Year fulfilled among the Hebrew people, in Its present-day fulfillment among the Hebrew people in the land of Israel, in the fulfillment of the Coming of Christ, the First Coming of Christ as the Lamb of God, we find that the Hebrew people killed the promised Son, and that was typified in Isaac: when Abraham took Isaac and bound him and laid him on the wood to sacrifice him to God, as God had commanded him. Once Abraham believed in his heart what God told him, what the Angel of the Lord told him, he did it in his heart; then he was going to materialize it, and the Angel told him: “Stay your hand.” And Abraham saw an animal, and he took that animal and sacrificed it.
Now, when Abraham takes Isaac from the place where he was going to sacrifice him, when he takes him out of there, he unbinds him; that represents—all of that, bringing him back, represents the resurrection of Christ.2
And now, notice that Isaac, the son promised to Abraham, did not obtain Abraham’s inheritance (he didn’t obtain it, he didn’t inherit it) until after he was brought back, he grew up, and Abraham died; Abraham blessed him with the Birthright Blessing before that, he gave everything he had to Isaac, and to the rest of his sons: to Ishmael and the other six sons he had through Keturah, he gave them gifts and he sent them away, so that they wouldn’t be near the heir.3
And now, notice that all of that is very important because it is a type and figure of the things that have to be materialized, and that everything will work for the benefit of the promised Son.
Notice, in the Second Coming of Christ is when Christ obtains all the Divine Inheritance. He didn’t obtain it in His First Coming, but He died and paid the price of redemption to make the Claim and obtain all the Divine Inheritance in His Second Coming.
And God’s sons and daughters, who are Abraham’s Seed by faith in Christ,4 and who are therefore represented in Abraham’s seed through Isaac, Jacob, and the sons of Jacob, who come to form the Hebrew people… because just as there is an earthly Israel, there is a heavenly Israel.
And now, through our Isaac, which is Christ, who was represented in Isaac, notice, Abraham’s heavenly Seed, the heavenly Israel, has been coming; because just as there is an earthly seed: the Hebrew people, we find that there is a heavenly Seed, which is the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, which comes through the second Isaac.
The first Isaac, by flesh, (notice) is *Abraham’s son; but now the second Isaac comes from Heaven, and He is born among the Hebrew people through a descendant of Abraham, who also comes from David’s family.5
And now, Christ, as the second Isaac, notice, the promised Son in whom the Divine Promises or the Divine Promise that God spoke to Abraham of, saying: “In your Seed shall all the nations be blessed…”6 And now through that Seed the promise of kings of many nations is fulfilled.
And the Seed of the second Isaac, notice, since the second Isaac is Christ, the Seed of Christ is His Church, and they come by believing in Christ, washing away their sins in the Blood of Christ, and receiving His Holy Spirit; and thus, Abraham’s Seed through the promised Son who and in whom all nations would be blessed, we find that since Christ is that promised Son, represented in Isaac, now the Birthright blessings would be where? In Christ.
Christ is the One who obtains the Birthright Blessing and the One It goes to, and He is the One who has all the blessings from Heaven for all of Abraham’s Seed; for Abraham’s seed after the flesh and for Abraham’s Seed by faith in Christ.
And now, we can see that the blessing of receiving the Holy Spirit is a great blessing.
When the person has believed in Christ as his Savior, and washed away his sins in the Blood of Christ, and received the Spirit of Christ, he has received what God had promised Abraham, he has received the Father’s promise; and Christ has brought that blessing among the Gentiles, to the believers in Him, to thus bring forth the new birth in Abraham’s Seed by faith in Christ.
And a new race is being created here on Earth since Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea, or since the body of Jesus was put in the virgin Mary’s womb, when God created in the virgin Mary’s womb a blood cell, a life cell, which multiplied cell after cell and formed the body of Jesus.
That is when a new Creation of a new race began, of which there will come forth kings who will rule this whole Earth with Christ; because the promise is that Christ will reign a thousand years and then for all eternity, and the saints will be given the Kingdom of God, as it says in Daniel, the Book of the Prophet Daniel, in chapter 7, he tells us this, when all of God’s sons and daughters will be restored. Chapter 7, verse 17 and 18, says:
“These great beasts, which are four, are four kings, which shall arise out of the earth.
But the saints of the most High shall take the kingdom,” (these saints of the Most High are the members of the mystical Body of Jesus Christ), “and possess the kingdom for ever, even for ever and ever.”
Notice, here in Revelation chapter 1, verses 4 to 6, it says:
“John to the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace be unto you, and peace, from him which is, and which was, and which is to come; and from the seven Spirits which are before his throne;
And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,
And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.”
He has made us what? Kings and priests. And there we have the kings which would come from Abraham, and which through Christ, who was born among the Hebrew people through a descendant of Abraham… now we find that God is creating a new race of which kings and priests come forth.
In the time of the patriarchs, we find that the patriarch for and of that tribe was both the king or ruler as well as the priest of that tribe or that seed.
And now, Abraham, notice, was the head of his seed, and therefore, we see him ruling his family, his seed, and all his business, and we also see him as a priest, offering sacrifices to God, and God making a covenant with him; because the patriarch was both the king and the priest of his tribe, of his seed.
And now, notice, in Revelation chapter 5, verse 8 and on, it says:
“And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints.
And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;
And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.”
Here we can see the promise that we will reign with Christ on the Earth. Why? Because He has washed us of our sins, He has made us unto our God kings and priests; therefore, we have the position of kings and the position of priests too; and we will reign with Christ. Christ is also King and Priest after the Order of Melchizedek.
And now, notice that this is consistent with Exodus chapter 19, verse 6.
The Hebrew people typify the heavenly Israel; therefore, the earthly Israel would be reflecting things of the heavenly Israel.
For example, the earthly Israel had—according to the Divine Law, they had a high priest established, for that high priest to be the only person who would enter into the holy of holies once a year, on the tenth day of every seventh month, each year, to take the blood of the sin offering of the goat there for the Hebrew people’s reconciliation to God.
And now, Christ, as the High Priest of the Temple which is in Heaven, for the reconciliation of every person whose name is written in the Lamb’s Book of Life before the foundation of the world, for the reconciliation of those people, Jesus Christ entered with His own Blood into the Holy of Holies of the Temple which is in Heaven, where Jesus Christ is the High Priest after the Order of Melchizedek.
Because Christ is the Melchizedek who appeared to Abraham and gave him bread and wine,7 which typifies the other symbol: the symbol of the bread and wine in the supper; and the bread and the wine represent the Blood and the Body or Flesh of Jesus Christ.
The Flesh and Blood of Jesus Christ are represented in the wine and the bread of the holy supper. In that supper, Christ, taking the bread, represented His body in that bread, which would be broken, which would be crucified; and He took the wine, the cup of wine, and represented His Blood in that wine, which would be shed for our sins, to wash us of our sins, to thus redeem us.
And now, notice, Christ said: “He who does not eat My flesh and drink My Blood, has no Life abiding in him.”8
And now, from age to age, we have been eating Christ when we believe in the Gospel, believe His Word, and receive Him as our Savior, and wash away our sins in His Blood. And thus, notice, the Blood of Christ is applied in our souls by the Presence of the Holy Spirit inside of us. He, the Holy Spirit, is the Life of that Blood that was shed on Calvary’s Cross; therefore, the Life of that Blood has come to the believer.
And now, we can see how Christ has been manifested among His Church, and from age to age, we have been eating the Flesh and we have been drinking the Blood of our beloved Lord Jesus Christ; in other words, it wasn’t a literal matter, of literally drinking His Blood and literally eating His flesh, rather, it was by believing in Christ as our Savior, believing in His Sacrifice on Calvary’s Cross, and washing away our sins in the Blood of Christ and receiving His Holy Spirit.
And now, at the Last Day, we find that He will give all of us to eat of His Flesh, His Word, and to drink of His Blood, by giving us His Holy Spirit; and He will change all of us who are alive, His believers, who are in the stage or age that pertains to this Last Day, hearing the Voice of Christ, that Great Voice of Trumpet, making known to us all these things which must shortly come to pass.
And thus, giving us the revelation of His Second Coming, so that we are eating His Flesh and drinking His Blood, receiving His Holy Spirit, and therefore, we are being put in the mystical Body at the Last Day, in the Age of the Cornerstone and Dispensation of the Kingdom; to then, at the Last Day, give us the new physical, glorified, and interdimensional body, to be in the image and likeness of our beloved Lord Jesus Christ.
And that is how at the Last Day, notice, He will be giving us His Life, His Spirit, and He will be giving us a body of flesh, but flesh: an eternal body, a physical body; and we will be in the image and likeness of our beloved Lord Jesus Christ. And we will live a thousand years and then for all eternity, always young, always representing the age of eighteen to twenty-one, and occupying the position of kings and priests in the glorious Millennial Kingdom of Christ, and then for all eternity.
In Revelation chapter 20, verse 4 and on, it says:
“And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.
Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.”
Notice, we will be priests and also kings, reigning with Christ. This was reflected among the Hebrew people when God gave them a priestly order, the Levitical order or order of the Levites, of which Aaron was the first high priest.
And now, notice what God says in [Exodus] chapter 19, verses 3 to 6. It says:
“And Moses went up unto God, and the Lord called unto him out of the mountain, saying, Thus shalt thou say to the house of Jacob, and tell the children of Israel,” (this was when Moses went up to Mount Sinai),
“Ye,” (God says, speaking on Mount Sinai, speaking to Moses about the Hebrew people, He says), “have seen what I did unto the Egyptians, and how I bare you on eagles’ wings, and brought you unto myself.
Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine:
And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation. These are the words which thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel.”
Now, notice what God said to Moses, to speak these words to the Hebrew people, that God had taken the Hebrew people to be a holy nation and to be a kingdom of priests; and they were reflecting the Kingdom of priests after the Order of Melchizedek. The priestly Order of Melchizedek was reflected in the Levitical priestly order.
And now, notice how God has been forming a priestly Order that is made up of each member of the mystical Body of Christ, it is the priestly Order called the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ; and this is to reign during the glorious Millennial Kingdom and for all eternity with our beloved Lord Jesus Christ, to reign with Him as kings and priests in the Kingdom of Jesus Christ.
Now, notice how these people who are kings and priests after the Order of Melchizedek, have been manifested here on Earth. And just as the High Priest of the Temple which is in Heaven came, notice, the priests of the Temple which is in Heaven, notice how they (that priestly Order of Heaven) would be manifested here: they have been coming to Earth, notice, those souls of God have been coming to Earth in human flesh, to take their place in the Temple of the Lord Jesus Christ and to be in the part that pertains to them in the Temple of the Lord Jesus Christ; and according to the position they occupy in the mystical Body of Christ, such will be the position they will occupy in the glorious Kingdom of our beloved Lord Jesus Christ.
And now, this is not a new program, rather it is the Divine Program that God has had in His Mind before the foundation of the world, which He is materializing from stage to stage.
And now, notice how we discover that there is a heavenly priestly Order, and Christ is the High Priest of the Temple which is in Heaven, and that is why He was able to carry out the Sacrifice and obtain eternal redemption.
And just as the high priest had to make the sacrifice for his house, the priestly house, now, notice, Christ has made the Sacrifice for His priestly House.
And He has also made the sacrifice of the goat; all of that has been fulfilled in one Sacrifice: in the Sacrifice of our beloved Lord Jesus Christ.
And the Passover Sacrifice was also fulfilled in Jesus Christ.
And every sacrifice carried out for the sin and reconciliation of every son and daughter of God to God, has been fulfilled in the Sacrifice of Christ on Calvary’s Cross.
And now, notice how it was reflected among the Hebrew people, in the high priest and the rest of the priests.
And now, we can see that this is a reflection of what God would carry out regarding the priestly Order of Melchizedek, starting with Jesus Christ, the High Priest of the Temple which is in Heaven. That is why He didn’t come from the tribe of Levi, because it is a heavenly priestly Order.
Now, notice how Christ our beloved Savior has the Firstborn blessings, and therefore every heavenly blessing is brought by Christ to His Church; and the blessings that pertain to the Hebrew people, Christ also brings them at the Last Day.
And the Blessing or blessings contained in the Birthright here, notice, there is the Blessing of the double inheritance, or a double portion of the inheritance; and we are heirs of God and joint-heirs with Christ Jesus, our Lord, Saint Paul the Apostle tells us in chapter 8 of Romans, verse 14 and on.
And he shows us that a time will come when God’s sons and daughters will be manifested (they will be manifested as sons and daughters of God), with an eternal body, because they will receive the adoption of the body, this is, the adoption or transformation of our body, where we who are alive will obtain the eternal body, the new body; and those who have died in Christ in past ages and some of our own who have departed will receive a new body, will rise in that new body, and they will be here with us, they (and we) will be having the Birthright blessings materialized in each one of God’s elect.
The Birthright blessings are for God’s firstborn. And who are God’s firstborn? Saint Paul the Apostle says in [Hebrews] chapter 12, verse 22 and on:
“But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels,
To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven…”
“To the General Assembly and Church of the firstborn,” it says here. And which is the General Assembly and Church of the firstborn? That is the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, the mystical Body of the Lord Jesus Christ. And therefore, those are the ones who have a double inheritance, where the earthly things are their inheritance and so are the heavenly things, because they are heirs of God, who is the owner of the Heavens and the Earth, He is the owner of the heavenly things and of the things of this Earth as well, because He is the owner of the whole Earth; and Christ is the heir of everything, and we are joint-heirs with Him, and we have the Birthright.
And how is it possible that we have the Birthright, if the Birthright belongs to the first, to the firstborn? Well, even if you were born in your earthly family first, second, third, or if you were born last in your earthly family (in the earthly family that you belong to through your father and mother), that does not stop you from being a firstborn of God.
Can seven children or twelve children of a marriage all be firstborn, if one of them was born first, another one afterwards, and so on? How can that be? That is how it is if the person belongs to the General Assembly and Church of the firstborn, which are written in Heaven, in the Lamb’s Book of Life; because those are the first ones that God thought of, and since they are the first ones, they are the firstborn. Notice, first He thought of Christ and the descendants of Christ.
And before the foundation of the world, notice what happened: chapter 1 of First Peter, verses 18 and on, says:
“…Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers;
But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:
Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world…”
And if He was foreordained before the foundation of the world, then God thought of Him before the foundation of the world, and He also thought of those who would be washed away in the Blood of Christ and would receive His Holy Spirit, and would become part of the mystical Body of Christ, of the General Assembly and Church of the firstborn of God, written in Heaven before the foundation of the world.
See why God’s firstborn are the ones who believe in Christ as their Savior, and wash away their sins in the Blood of Christ, and receive the Spirit of Christ? It’s because God thought of those people before the foundation of the world. And when God thought of Christ, He was thinking of all of us there, and we were all in Christ.
Just as our earthly body was in our earthly father, and then when he met our mother, through an act of love, our mother conceived and our earthly body appeared; and through an act of Love Divine, notice, we are sent by God to this Earth to live here; and through an act of Love Divine, Christ came to Earth manifested in human flesh. He says:
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” (Saint John chapter 3, verse 16.)
And notice how all of this was before the foundation of the world. It says:
“…But was manifest in these last times for you…”
Notice, for us, before the foundation of the world, God predestined the Coming of Christ and His death on Calvary’s Cross; and that was manifested, turned into a reality on this Earth, it was materialized on this Earth in the First Coming of Christ.
And now, we can see how God’s sons and daughters, the members of the mystical Body of Christ, have later come manifested in human flesh and come in contact with the Divine Program in order to obtain the new birth by believing in Christ as our Savior and receiving His Holy Spirit, and thus, being born again, being born into the Kingdom of God.
Because the order to come to this Earth with Eternal Life was interrupted in the garden of Eden, with the fall of Eve and Adam back then; and now, that is the reason why we have come here to Earth in this mortal, corruptible, and temporary body, and that is why we have been appearing in this valley of the shadow of death;9 and that is why when we receive Christ as our Savior and wash away our sins in His Blood, this promise of Saint John chapter 5, verse 24, is fulfilled, where it says:
“Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.”
Why have they passed from death unto Life? Because when we are born on this Earth, we are born, but we are born in a mortal and corruptible body, and with a spirit of the world; therefore, we are in death.
But by believing in Christ as our Savior and washing away our sins in the Blood of Christ, we are brought to Life, we are resurrected with Christ to live eternally, and that is why in the new birth we obtain the theophanic body of the sixth dimension, which is similar to our physical body, but from the sixth dimension; and then, at the Last Day, we will obtain the physical and eternal and glorified body, to be in the image and likeness of our beloved Lord Jesus Christ.
The promise of Saint John chapter 6, verses 39 to 40, is also fulfilled, which says:
“And this is the Father’s will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.
And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.”
Notice the promise of the resurrection at the Last Day, and after the resurrection of the dead in Christ will come the transformation for us who are alive and have believed in Christ as our Savior, and have washed away our sins in the Blood of Christ, and have received His Holy Spirit, and therefore, we have come into the mystical Body of Christ at the time relevant to this stage of the mystical Body of the Lord Jesus Christ; in other words, we have entered into the stage of the Cornerstone Age in the Dispensation of the Kingdom. These are the ones who, at the Last Day, will be changed if they are alive; if one of them dies, well, he will be raised and return to the same age in and to which he belonged.
And now, notice how this promise of Eternal Life becomes a reality when we receive Christ as our Savior, wash away our sins in the Blood of Christ, and receive His Holy Spirit. We already come into Eternal Life there, by receiving an eternal theophanic body, and we are already resurrected in the sixth dimension; we are not dead anymore, but raised, we have passed from death to Life; and now we need the physical resurrection of the saints who have departed, and our transformation in eternal bodies, which Christ says will be at the Last Day and the Last Day is the Lord’s Day, it is the seventh millennium.
If we add to the calendar the years it is behind, we are already in the seventh millennium, and therefore, the Lord’s Day or Last Day, so that we may all be hearing the Great Voice of a Trumpet that spoke to John on the Lord’s Day or Last Day, and said to him: “I am the Alpha and Omega, the first and the last.”10 And who is the Alpha and Omega? Who is the first and the last? Well, our beloved Lord Jesus Christ.
And at the Last Day (which John was transported to) is when he heard that Great Voice of a Trumpet, which is the Voice of Christ speaking to His Church the Message of the Gospel of the Kingdom, which revolves around the Second Coming of Christ as the Lion of the tribe of Judah, as King of kings and Lord of lords in His Claiming Work.
And at the Last Day is when God’s firstborn will inherit the Birthright blessings in all fullness, in other words, the Birthright blessings will be materialized on this Earth, the elect who have departed will be raised in eternal bodies, and we who are alive will be changed; and with that, the Birthright blessings will also be fulfilled physically.
And every blessing that pertains to the Birthright in the physical sense will be inherited by God’s firstborn, by the members of the mystical Body of Jesus Christ, which is the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, and thus, we will have the glorious manifestation of the sons and daughters of God at the Last Day.
We will be adopted, and this adoption is the redemption of the body: being physically redeemed as well, the physical body being redeemed, Christ giving us a new body at the Last Day, an eternal body; and thus, all of God’s sons and daughters being restored to Eternal Life in an eternal body, because to redeem means ‘to bring back to the original place,’ and the human being will return to his original place as a body, he will return to an eternal body, and we will all be like our beloved Lord Jesus Christ, who is the second Adam.
Now, notice how all those blessings are where? In the Birthright. And the firstborn are the ones who inherit the Blessing and blessings contained in the Birthright.
The firstborn are the members of the mystical Body of the Lord Jesus Christ written in Heaven, in the Lamb’s Book of Life, before the foundation of the world, to be redeemed and to obtain all the Birthright blessings, to obtain God’s inheritance, and be heirs of God and joint-heirs with Christ Jesus our Lord.
Now, we have seen the mystery of the Birthright blessings, briefly, since this subject requires, perhaps months, just to speak on the Birthright and its blessings. But as you listen to or read other conferences, you will always find something that is connected to the Birthright and its blessings.
And the Birthright belongs to God’s sons and daughters, because God’s sons and daughters are the ones considered God’s firstborn. Likewise, in a family, in order to be the firstborn of that family and have the birthright blessing and have the birthright blessing materialize in someone, well, he must be a son, a child of that father and that mother.
A person who is not a child [of the family], is not a firstborn, he cannot be a firstborn of that family. He may have lived there before the firstborn of that family was born, he may have been in that house many years before him, but he is not the firstborn of that family, therefore the birthright blessing is not for him.
As it was in Abraham’s case, where Eliezer of Damascus had been with Abraham for many years, yet he was not the person who would inherit Abraham; because a slave, a servant-slave, could not be his heir, rather, a child of Abraham had to be his heir. So, on God’s part, the promise made to Abraham was sure: that servant of Abraham wouldn’t be the heir of Abraham, rather, it would be Isaac, Abraham’s son through Sarah.
And now, notice how all of this was reflecting Christ and His Church. And at the Last Day, the saints of the Most High will receive the Kingdom, and the saints of the Most High are God’s firstborn written in Heaven before the foundation of the world; those people are the ones who have the right to the Birthright and the blessings of the Birthright, where, notice, they begin by receiving justification, sanctification, and the baptism of the Holy Spirit, and thus, they receive the firstfruits of the Spirit; and at the Last Day, they will receive the fullness of the Spirit of God, by receiving a new body, a transformation if we are alive, or if their physical bodies have departed, a resurrection in an eternal body created by Christ.
And now, notice the great blessings that are in the Birthright. Jacob was right to fight for the Birthright, and then also to hear the Birthright blessings being spoken by Isaac, his father.
Notice, he first bought the Birthright,11 and then he heard the Birthright Blessing or blessings contained in the Birthright,12 and then he strived and worked, he multiplied himself and also his sheep;13 and then when he was returning from Haran, from his father-in-law’s house, he was already coming with his family, and the last one who was to be born in that family was born on the way to Bethlehem,14 and with the last one, with Benjamin, the twelve patriarchs were complete.
But notice, the Birthright Blessing belongs to Joseph. When Joseph has his two sons through Asenath,15 what happens? We find that those children are half Hebrew and half Gentile: through Joseph, they were Hebrews, through Joseph’s wife, they were Gentiles; and now, they have dual citizenship.
And when Jacob went to bless with the blessing that the patriarchs bestowed upon their children, he blessed Joseph first by blessing Joseph’s sons. And he blessed Ephraim first, who was the youngest, and then Manasseh, who was the oldest; and he said: “These are mine, like Simeon and Reuben…” in other words, they became part of the Hebrew people with the blessing and through the blessing that Jacob bestowed upon his grandchildren; and that is why the Birthright Blessing belongs to Joseph, which was spoken over his sons.16
And now, Christ, through the Cross, just like by Jacob crossing his hands or forming a cross, the Birthright Blessing, the Blessing that was for the oldest was bestowed upon the youngest.
By Jacob putting his right hand on Ephraim, he was bestowing the Birthright Blessing, which is the blessing of a double inheritance, of a double portion; and notice that it is related to the right hand, and that is why when they would bestow the Birthright Blessing, they would lay their right hand upon the person.
And now, for God to bestow the Birthright Blessing upon the firstborn written in Heaven before the foundation of the world, what does He do? Notice, through Christ, that Blessing comes to His Gentile Church.
And now, in His right hand, God has the Title Deed, the Seven-Sealed Book. And since the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ is the One with the Birthright, passed on to Her by Christ on Calvary’s Cross, now She gets every Birthright Blessing contained in the Title Deed, in the Seven-Sealed Book in the right hand of Him who sits on the Throne.
And that is why that Book is brought to Earth at the Last Day, at the end time, and It is put in the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, when It is given by Christ in His Coming in Revelation chapter 10, verse 1 and on; because in chapter 5 of Revelation, Christ took the Book, opened It in Heaven (in chapter 6 and chapter 8, that Book is opened in Heaven, and in Revelation chapter 10, It is brought by Christ, He brings It open in His hand, and then He gives It to a man.
John the Apostle represents the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ and His angel-messengers of the different stages of the Church of Jesus Christ, of the first, second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh, and also the Eighth Age: the Age of the Cornerstone.
Therefore, Christ comes in Revelation chapter 10, with the little Book open in His hand (already open) so that everything that is there can be understood, and Christ gives It to a man, and that man is representing the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ along with the Angel-Messenger pertaining to that time; and since all revelation must come to the people of God, both to the Hebrew people and to the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ: to the heavenly Israel, it must come through a prophet, a messenger, that Word comes, that Book comes to the messenger of the Last Day and he is told to eat that little Book which is open. Notice, all of this was represented in John the Apostle.
And he eats that Book and It is sweet in his mouth, but bitter in his belly. Sweet because there is nothing sweeter that the Word of God, It is sweeter than honey;17 but the most terrible bitterness has also come because of the Word of God: persecutions throughout the history of Christianity has come upon Christians who love Christ and who have followed Christ in their days, and have been persecuted, and many of them have been despised, they have been beaten; and many of them have also been martyred and have died for the Name of Christ and His Word.
Now, notice that this is the bitter part, but Christ said: “He who confesses me before men, him shall I also confess before My Heavenly Father and before His angels. But he that denies me before men shall I also deny before men, and before My Heavenly Father, and before My angels. I will deny him before My Father and before My angels, before His angels.”18
Now, notice how important it is to be in the age pertaining to the time in which we live, believing in Christ as our Savior, having our sins washed away in the Blood of Christ, and having the Spirit of Jesus Christ; that is what it means to have Eternal Life, and that is what it means to have the Birthright blessings as they are given, materialized, to the members of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ.
And now, at the Last Day, the blessings contained in the Birthright for all of God’s sons and daughters are made known.
At the Last Day, notice, is when God’s elect—as it was in other ages—are given to know those blessings that are promised for this end time.
And at the end time is when the part about the Angel appearing to Jacob… and Jacob wrestling with Him, and the Angel telling him to let Him go, and Jacob telling him: “I will not let You go until You bless me.” And then the Angel asking him: “What is your name?” Jacob tells Him: “Jacob,” which means ‘supplanter.’
The Angel tells him… The Angel of the Lord, remember, is the Lord Himself and is Jesus Christ Himself; but He is there in His theophanic body, and He tells Jacob: “Your name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel: for as a prince you have had power with God and with men,” (or vice-versa), “and have prevailed.” Jacob asks Him: “And what is Your Name?” The Angel tells Him not to ask for His Name, He didn’t make known to him what His Name was; but He blessed him there.19
Now, we can see that this is the part that pertains to this Last Day, where, both the heavenly Israel and the earthly Israel meet the Angel of the Lord manifested in the Angel-Messenger of the Lord Jesus Christ, and that is where the blessing of the Angel of the Lord comes to God’s elect, to God’s firstborn, before the heavenly Israel and the earthly Israel meet the antichrist.
Before they meet, since it was represented in Jacob meeting Esau (for Esau represents the antichrist there, in that typology),20 we find that before that showdown or meeting, the Angel of the Lord, the Angel of the Covenant, who is Jesus Christ in Holy Spirit at the Last Day, will be blessing the heavenly Israel first, and then the earthly Israel; and thus, the heavenly Israel will be blessed with the Blessing or blessings of the Birthright, those blessings will be materialized, both for the heavenly Israel and also for the earthly Israel.
And now, all those blessings are contained in that Title Deed sealed with Seven Seals, and they will be materializing at this Last Day in God’s elect, in the firstborn written in Heaven before the foundation of the world in the Lamb’s Book of Life.
From age to age, God’s firstborn have been called and gathered, and at this time, where are God’s firstborn who would see the Coming of the Angel of the Lord manifested in His Angel-Messenger at this Last Day? We are here present at the exact time and in the exact territory for the Coming of the Mighty Angel manifested and revealed in His Angel-Messenger, making known to us all these things which must shortly come to pass, and thus, opening to us the Word of prophecy pertaining to the Last Day, to the Age of the Cornerstone and Dispensation of the Kingdom, and thus, giving us the revelation of the Second Coming of Christ as the Lion of the tribe of Judah, as King of kings and Lord of lords in His Claiming Work, to thus bless us at this Last Day in which we are living.
There are many other things contained in the Birthright blessings, which we will continue speaking about in the afternoon, because our subject in the afternoon is about the perfect Man, so, it is the mystery of “REACHING THE STATURE OF A PERFECT MAN.” And when we reach it, well, we will inherit all the Birthright blessings.
“THE MYSTERY OF THE BIRTHRIGHT BLESSINGS.”
It has been a great privilege to be with you on this occasion, testifying to you about the Birthright blessings.
In the afternoon, at 3:00 in the afternoon, God willing, I will be with you again, to continue seeing these blessings promised for God’s elect, for God’s firstborn, who at the Last Day will reach the stature of a perfect Man, in other words, the stature of Christ; they will reach the image and likeness of our beloved Lord Jesus Christ. We will speak about that in the next service, at 3:00 in the afternoon.
I will leave Rev. Miguel Bermúdez Marín with us again, to continue and conclude our participation on this occasion.
May the blessings of Jesus Christ (of the Birthright) for God’s elect, for God’s firstborn, be materialized in each one of you and also in me. In the Eternal Name of Jesus Christ. And soon, may we all be changed and raptured, and go to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb in Heaven. In the Eternal Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen and amen.
May God continue to bless you all, may God keep you, and I will leave Rev. Miguel Bermúdez Marín with us.
“THE MYSTERY OF THE BIRTHRIGHT BLESSINGS.”
(Pardon me, Miguel.) I will also be here next Sunday, right Miguel? So that I don’t forget. Therefore…
[Bro. Miguel says, “And Friday.”—Ed.]
Yes, we are going to be here next Friday as well, and we are going to be around here, we have next Friday’s subject too, to have it recorded. It is a series about… We are in the series called “The mysteries of the Kingdom of Heaven.” And it is a series that ends on December 31st. We started it when, Miguel? We started it on the 7th or 8th… on the 5th of last month. And there are already how many messages? How many conferences? One hundred and seven conferences are already recorded with different subjects about the mysteries of the Kingdom of Heaven, and from now to December there are still about how many more, Miguel? No less than one hundred. One hundred to one hundred and twenty more conferences that will be covering these subjects about “The mysteries of the Kingdom of Heaven.”
Perhaps in some subjects, some are—some also have different subjects, have material from other subjects; and then, well, for example, all the conferences related to the Last Trumpet, well, you gather it all, and then you have a clear picture about the Last Trumpet; because what we miss from one, we get from another, we obtain it from another, and thus, we will be having a clearer picture every day about all the mysteries of the Kingdom of Heaven, and about the hour in which we are living.
So, these subjects have already been established, and for me it’s much better to already have the subject ahead of time, to be more at ease, because for me to get a subject, sometimes it takes up to a week, and sometimes I get here and I still don’t have the subject; but God has been so good to me that He has allowed me to have all the subjects of the conferences from the 5th of last month to the 31st of December. In other words, to have about two hundred and something subjects already appointed for the conferences, from the 5th of last month until the 31st of December. Well, that is a great blessing for me.
And pray for me a lot, so that God gives me everything we must know about each of those subjects, and thus, opens the Scriptures to us that speak about these subjects, and opens all the Scriptures to us related to these subjects, so that we may understand more extensively God’s whole Program of the past, the present, and the future.
May God bless you and thank you very much.
