Good afternoon, beloved friends and brethren present. It is a great blessing to be with you on this occasion, to share this subject with you: “THE MYSTERY OF THE NAMES WRITTEN IN HEAVEN.”
For this reason, I want to read in Saint Luke chapter 10, verses 17 to 20, where it says… This is when the seventy returned, whom Jesus sent to preach, and heal the sick, and cast out devils. It says:
“And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through thy name.
And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven.
Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.
Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.”
May God bless His Word in our hearts, and bless our hearts with His Word; and may He open His Word to us, the Scriptures, and open our mind and our heart, our soul, so that we understand It and so that It enters into the depths of our soul, and becomes a reality there in the depths of our soul. In the Eternal Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen and amen.
“THE MYSTERY OF THE NAMES WRITTEN IN HEAVEN.”
Here Jesus Christ tells us that the reason for a person to rejoice is not because the spirits are subject to him in the Name of the Lord, but because our names are written in Heaven: in Heaven, in the Lamb’s Book of Life.
And now, in order to understand this subject, we have to understand the Divine Program.
The names of those who are written in Heaven, in the Lamb’s Book of Life, have been written before the foundation of the world. And that is why Christ, referring to His elect, typifying them in sheep, said in chapter 10 of Saint John, verse… let’s see here, verse 1 and on, He says:
“Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber.
But he that entereth in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep.
To him the porter openeth; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth them out.”
Notice:
“…And he calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth them out.”
Now, we can see that Christ knows His sheep and calls them by name; because He knows the names of His sheep, because they are written in Heaven, in the Lamb’s Book of Life.
And that is why our beloved Lord Jesus Christ has been searching for His sheep, as He said in Saint John chapter 10, verse 14 and on, when He said:
“I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine.
As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep.
And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.”
Now, notice that Christ represents all those whose names are written in Heaven, in the Lamb’s Book of Life, He represents them in and with sheep, who will hear the Voice of the Good Shepherd; and He will call them by name. And He delivers them and puts them in His Fold, and His Fold is the mystical Body of the Lord Jesus Christ, in other words, His Church.
In Hebrews chapter 12, verses 22 and on, it says:
“…But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels,
To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven…”
Where are the names of God’s firstborn registered? In Heaven, in the Lamb’s Book of Life.
That is why we find the heavenly Jerusalem, which Saint Paul speaks to us about and tells us that we belong, not to the earthly Jerusalem, but to the heavenly Jerusalem. He says, in chapter 4 of the Book or Letter to the Galatians, Saint Paul the Apostle says, starting on verse 22:
“For it is written, that Abraham had two sons, the one by a bondmaid, the other by a freewoman.
But he who was of the bondwoman was born after the flesh; but he of the freewoman was by promise.
Which things are an allegory: for these are the two covenants; the one from the mount Sinai,” (meaning, the Law, the covenant under the Law), “which gendereth to bondage, which is Agar.
For this Agar is mount Sinai in Arabia, and answereth to Jerusalem which now is, and is in bondage with her children.
But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all.
For it is written, Rejoice, thou barren that bearest not; break forth and cry, thou that travailest not: for the desolate hath many more children than she which hath an husband.
Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are the children of promise.
But as then he that was born after the flesh persecuted him that was born after the Spirit, even so it is now.
Nevertheless what saith the scripture? Cast out the bondwoman and her son: for the son of the bondwoman shall not be heir with the son of the freewoman.
So then, brethren, we are not children of the bondwoman, but of the free,” (in other words, of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ).
That is the heavenly Jerusalem. And that heavenly Jerusalem has sons and daughters, which are the members of the mystical Body of Christ, the members of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ.
And now, notice, we, as Isaac was, are the children of promise, and therefore, the heirs.
And that is why the Hebrew people were cast out: so that the children of promise could obtain the Divine Inheritance, what Adam and Eve lost in the fall; which will be restored through Jesus Christ to all of God’s sons and daughters, to all the descendants of the heavenly Jerusalem, to all the descendants of Jesus Christ through His Church, whose names are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life; a Book which appears in Revelation chapter 5, as the seven-sealed Book.
And now, notice how also in the Book of Revelation, it speaks to us about the Book of Life, and it tells us in chapter… let’s see, Revelation chapter 21, verse 27, says:
“And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth,” (that is, anything that defiles will not enter into the new Jerusalem), “neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb’s book of life.”
These have been written there before the foundation of the world.
Now, there are people, notice, who are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life, which is the section of the ones redeemed by Christ and His Blood, who have been written in that Book before the foundation of the world. We find that this section of the Lamb’s Book of Life is in the Book of Life.
But there is another section where the names of people that can be blotted out of the Book of Life are written, whom Christ spoke and taught about in Revelation chapter 3, verse 5, saying:
“He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.”
Christ had also said in Saint Matthew chapter 16, and in other passages, He said… let’s see what Christ said. It says… chapter 16, verse 24 and on, says:
“Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.
For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.
For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?
For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works.”
There are other passages where Christ says: “Whosoever shall confess Me before men, him will I confess also before My Father, and before His angels. But whosoever shall deny Me, him will I also deny before My Father, and before His angels.”1
And now, here in the passage we read, notice that Christ says He will confess him before His Father. And in chapter 12, verse 8, of Saint Luke, Christ speaks to us about this as well; He says:
“Also I say unto you, Whosoever shall confess me before men, him shall the Son of man also confess before the angels of God:
But he that denieth me before men shall be denied before the angels of God.
And whosoever shall speak a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but unto him that blasphemeth against the Holy Ghost it shall not be forgiven.”
Now we see here how Christ was promising to confess before His Father and before His angels whoever confesses Him before men; but whoever denies Him, He says that He will deny him before the angels of God.
And now, in Revelation, Christ speaks to us again, saying:
“He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.”
Now we can see the great blessing there is in confessing Christ before men and remaining faithful to Christ every day of our lives.
A person’s future (notice) depends on the attitude he takes before Christ and His Program for the time in which he lives: it depends on whether or not he receives Christ as His Savior and washes away his sins in the Blood of Christ. If he doesn’t, he won’t be confessed before our Heavenly Father and His angels; but if he confesses Him before men as his Savior, and washes away his sins in the Blood of Christ, and receives His Holy Spirit: he will be confessed before our Heavenly Father and before His angels, before His messengers, and before the angels of Heaven.
And now, notice, Christ will show, He will confess, which of the angel-messengers that person belongs to; he will be recognized as one of those who belong to the messenger of the age in which that person lived.
Now, this matter of the names written in Heaven is a mystery, but it is a mystery that Christ spoke about. It is a mystery that has been spoken of since the Old Testament.
For example, we find in the Book of Exodus, chapter 32 (where God was speaking with the Prophet Moses), and around verse 9 and on, it says… This was when the Hebrew people made a golden calf and worshiped that golden calf while Moses was on the mountain, where he fasted forty days and forty nights; and there, obtained on two tables of stone the written Word of God, the Law for the Hebrew people. It says [verse 7]:
“And the Lord said unto Moses, Go, get thee down; for thy people, which thou broughtest out of the land of Egypt, have corrupted themselves:
They have turned aside quickly out of the way which I commanded them: they have made them a molten calf, and have worshipped it, and have sacrificed thereunto, and said, These be thy gods, O Israel, which have brought thee up out of the land of Egypt.
And the Lord said unto Moses, I have seen this people, and, behold, it is a stiffnecked people:
Now therefore let me alone, that my wrath may wax hot against them, and that I may consume them: and I will make of thee a great nation.
And Moses besought the Lord his God, and said, Lord, why doth thy wrath wax hot against thy people, which thou hast brought forth out of the land of Egypt with great power, and with a mighty hand?
Wherefore should the Egyptians speak, and say, For mischief did he bring them out, to slay them in the mountains, and to consume them from the face of the earth? Turn from thy fierce wrath, and repent of this evil against thy people.
Remember Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, thy servants, to whom thou swarest by thine own self, and saidst unto them, I will multiply your seed as the stars of heaven, and all this land that I have spoken of will I give unto your seed, and they shall inherit it for ever.
And the Lord repented of the evil which he thought to do unto his people.”
Now, notice how Moses stopped that Divine Judgment that was coming upon the Hebrew people.
Now, how did Moses accomplish this? And how does Moses… he appears to be giving God better advice here than what God is saying He will do against the Hebrew people. And Moses spoke with God in such a way that he said:
“And it came to pass on the morrow, that Moses said unto the people, Ye have sinned a great sin,” (verse 30 and on), “and now I will go up unto the Lord; peradventure I shall make an atonement for your sin.
And Moses returned unto the Lord, and said, Oh, this people have sinned a great sin, and have made them gods of gold.
Yet now, if thou wilt forgive their sin–; and if not, blot me, I pray thee, out of thy book which thou hast written.”
Notice, Moses knew there was a Book that his name was in, for God told Moses: “I know you by name;”2 and He had known him before the foundation of the world, because his name is written in the Book of Life, like the names of all God’s prophets.
And now, God tells Moses [verse 34]:
“Therefore now go, lead the people unto the place of which I have spoken unto thee: behold, mine Angel shall go before thee: nevertheless in the day when I visit I will visit their sin upon them.
And the Lord plagued the people, because they made the calf, which Aaron made.”
Now, notice how Moses was interceding for the people, and he even told God:
“…And if not, blot me, I pray thee, out of thy book which thou hast written.”
Why did Moses succeed in appeasing God’s wrath so that He wouldn’t destroy the Hebrew people? Why did he obtain forgiveness for the Hebrew people? Because Christ was being reflected in Moses, he was a reflection of Christ; Christ was represented in Moses.
And now, when Jesus Christ appeared on Earth two thousand years ago, we find that the human race had reached the condition required for God to destroy the human race. And when the time came for God to destroy the human race, Jesus Christ took our sins and became sin for us, for human beings, and God’s wrath didn’t fall upon the human race, but upon our beloved Lord Jesus Christ.
Jesus Christ was the One who prevented the human race from perishing two thousand years ago. When Christ was crucified and died, bearing our sins, the human race was the one that had to die there that day; the Divine Judgment had to fall upon the human race that day, and they had to disappear.
Christ had said: “Except the Corn of Wheat falls into the ground and dies, It abides alone.”3 If Jesus Christ hadn’t died on the eve of Passover, all the Hebrew people and all the human race would have died; the Divine Judgement upon the human race would have started until the human race disappeared, and only our beloved Lord Jesus Christ remained. “Except the Corn of Wheat falls into the ground and dies, It abides alone: but if It falls into the ground and dies, It brings forth much fruit;” in other words, It brings forth many sons and daughters of God in the image and likeness of the Lord Jesus Christ, the Corn of Wheat that was sown into the ground.
Just like when you sow a corn of wheat, then a little plant sprouts, that little plant keeps growing; and when the time comes for it to bring forth fruit, it brings forth many wheat grains; and those wheat grains ripen, and the harvest is carried out. And what do you obtain in the harvest? You obtain many wheat grains, just like the one that was sown into the ground.
And that is how it is in and according to the law of sowing and reaping, with Jesus Christ, the Corn of Wheat that was sown into the ground.
At the Last Day, in the Harvest of God’s sons and daughters, in the Harvest of the wheat, there will be millions of human beings just like the Lord Jesus Christ; among whom millions of them already had their season here on Earth and died, but they were the wheat grains, they were the wheat potentially.
And at the Last Day, since they were the wheat potentially (although the wheat grains in the Wheat Plant had not sprouted yet and had not ripened yet, because they were in the different stages of the Wheat Plant, and the Wheat Plant is the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ), at the Last Day, those people in whom the Life of Christ was, and who were wheat potentially: at the Last Day they will rise in eternal bodies and they will stand as wheat grains; they will stand as God’s sons and daughters manifested in eternal bodies; they will be in the image and likeness of Jesus Christ, the Corn of Wheat that was sown into the ground, for those people have their names written in the Lamb’s Book of Life.
And we who are alive will be changed and will also have the eternal body, and we will be in the image and likeness of our beloved Lord Jesus Christ, in the image and likeness of the Corn of Wheat that was sown into the ground.
Now, we can see that these people whose names are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life are the members of the mystical Body of Christ, they are the wheat grains who at the Last Day will be in the image and likeness of our beloved Lord Jesus Christ.
And just like a wheat plant has a certain amount of wheat grains, so does the Wheat Plant, which is the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, and which is Christ Himself in the form of a wheat plant; just like a wheat plant is the corn of wheat that was sown into the ground, and it appears again as a wheat plant to reproduce itself.
Now, notice how Christ, the Corn of Wheat, would be reproducing Himself and bringing forth many wheat grains, sons and daughters of God; because as the Son of God, what will He bring forth? What will He reproduce Himself into? Into sons and daughters of God. That is how God’s sons and daughters come forth.
And that is why the Scripture says in Saint John, chapter 1, verses 9 to 12, it says:
“That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.
He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.
He came unto his own,” (meaning, the Hebrew people), “and his own received him not.
But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.”
In other words, these are the people who believe in Christ as our Savior, receive the Blood of Christ and wash away their sins in the Blood of Christ, and receive the Spirit of Christ; and thus, the new birth is brought forth in them, they are born in the Kingdom of God.
Those are God’s sons and daughters, who at the Last Day will be in the image and likeness of our beloved Lord Jesus Christ when the dead in Christ rise and when we who are alive are changed; and we will be in the image and likeness of our beloved Lord Jesus Christ.
That is the manifestation of the sons and daughters of God, which Saint Paul the Apostle speaks about in Romans chapter 8, verses 10 to 35.
The whole Creation is crying out and groaning with birth pains until now, because It is crying out for the glorious manifestation of the sons and daughters of God: for the adoption; in other words, for the transformation of our bodies and the resurrection of the dead in Christ in eternal bodies, to be manifested on this Earth as sons and daughters of God in eternal bodies, in the image and likeness of Jesus Christ; and thus, to be restored to Eternal Life with an eternal body, and have God’s inheritance, and be heirs of God and joint-heirs with Christ Jesus our Lord; and thus, be restored to Eternal Life, with an eternal and glorified physical body, and with an eternal theophanic spirit as well.
Now, notice “THE MYSTERY OF THE NAMES WRITTEN IN HEAVEN.”
The main names are the names of the firstborn that are inscribed or written in Heaven, in the Lamb’s Book of Life; those are the members of the mystical Body of Christ, of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ.
And then, in another section of the Book of Life, are the names of people who have believed in Christ as their Savior, have washed away their sins in the Blood of Christ, but haven’t received the Spirit of Christ, therefore, they have not been born again. Those people are appointed as the group of the foolish virgins who didn’t have Oil in their lamps.
But those who have their names in the section of the Lamb’s Book of Life are represented in the group of the wise virgins who received Oil, who had Oil in their lamps; in other words, they had the Holy Spirit in their bodies, and in their spirits, and in their souls; in other words, they were filled with the Spirit of God. They had received the Spirit of Christ, and therefore, they had been born again.
We find that the firstborn, the predestinated or elected of God, are the people who have their names in the section of the Lamb’s Book of Life, and they are the ones who hear the Voice of Christ in the age in which they are given to live, and enter into the mystical Body of Christ through the new birth: upon hearing the Word of Christ, and upon washing away their sins in the Blood of Christ, and receiving the Spirit of Christ.
Those people are the God’s firstborn, God’s elect; they are the ones who will be in the image and likeness of our beloved Lord Jesus Christ. They are God’s firstborn, God’s firstborn children.
But notice, in a household, we find that there is a firstborn child, but then we find that there are more children in most households. And likewise, in the Divine Program we find that there are more people written in the Book of Life; and although they belong to the group of the foolish virgins who didn’t receive the Spirit of Christ, and therefore, are not part of God’s firstborn, those people will enter to Eternal Life: they will rise after the Millennial Kingdom, they will be judged, and they will come out to Eternal Life.
Those are the sheep that the King (like the shepherd) set on His right hand; just as the shepherd sets the sheep on his right hand and the goats on the left. And King Jesus Christ, in the Judgment of the White Throne, will set the sheep on His right hand and the goats on the left; and those are human beings who will go before the White Throne on Judgment Day, where they will be judged.
And now, notice how all of this will be. It says the following in chapter 25 of Saint Matthew, verse 31 and on, it says:
“When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:
And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:
And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.
Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:
For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in:
Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.
Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?
When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee?
Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?
And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.”
In other words, they had done these good things to whom? To the little ones, they had done it “unto one of the least of these My brethren;” in other words, to one of God’s sons and daughters whose names are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life; they did it to one of the members of the mystical Body of Christ. And Christ said: “Whoever will give to drink to one of these little ones a cup of cold water, shall in no wise lose his reward.”4
And now, notice, these little ones are those who have believed in Christ as our Savior, washed away their sins in the Blood of Christ, and received His Holy Spirit; these are the ones whose names are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life. And whoever does favors for these little ones, for these brethren of Jesus Christ, will not lose his reward.
And these foolish virgins, who hadn’t received Oil (meaning, the Holy Spirit), who hadn’t received the new birth, had helped God’s sons and daughters, had helped God’s elect, they had helped God’s firstborn in the different ages of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ; therefore, they will not lose their reward, which will be to enter into the Kingdom of God “prepared for you from the foundation of the world.”
And Christ with His Church, with those little ones, will reign over all those people who will come into Eternal Life.
And now, notice how these people will appear after the Millennial Kingdom to be judged and come into Eternal Life
And there are other people whose names will be erased, blotted out of the Book of Life, in other words, of that section pertaining to the Book of Life; not of the section of the Lamb’s Book of Life, because no name can be taken out of that section of the Lamb’s Book of Life; names can only be taken out of the other section.
And now, we find that Christ says He will not blot out his name out of the Book of Life, in other words, He will not blot out the name of those people who have helped God’s elect.
And now, let’s see how there are also people whose names were blotted out in the past; and at this end time there will also be people whose names will be blotted out of the section of the Book of Life, where the names of the foolish virgins are written; but in order for those names to be blotted out, we find that those people will have acted against God’s sons and daughters.
And those people will later be cast into the lake of fire. Notice how in this same passage of Saint Matthew, and in this same 25th chapter [verse 41], it says:
“Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:
For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink:
I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not.
Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee?
Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me.
And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.”
Now we can see that since these people were not helpful, were not beneficial to God’s elect, to God’s firstborn written in Heaven, in the Lamb’s Book of Life: those people will be cast into the lake of fire, and they will be burned in body, spirit, and soul as well.
We find that there are millions of human beings whose names are written in that section of the Book of Life, and their names can be blotted out if they don’t act correctly in the time in which they are given to live. If they rise up against God’s elect in the age that they are in, their names will be blotted out, they will be taken out of the section of the Book of Life.
And now, notice how God speaks to us in the Scripture about the Divine Book; and in the Book of Psalms, He tells us that they will be blotted out… or the Psalmist asks that all his enemies be blotted out of God’s Book. Let’s look at these Psalms here: Psalm 69, let’s see… Let’s see here… This is a Messianic Psalm, it is a Psalm where it speaks to us about the death of Christ; it is a prophetic Psalm. And it tells us: “Deliver me…” Verse 14 and on, says:
“Deliver me out of the mire, and let me not sink: let me be delivered from them that hate me, and out of the deep waters.
Let not the waterflood overflow me, neither let the deep swallow me up, and let not the pit shut her mouth upon me.
Hear me, O Lord; for thy lovingkindness is good: turn unto me according to the multitude of thy tender mercies.
And hide not thy face from thy servant,” (notice, Christ said on the Cross: “My God, My God, why hast Thou forsaken Me?”)5“for I am in trouble: hear me speedily.
Draw nigh unto my soul, and redeem it: deliver me because of mine enemies.
Thou hast known my reproach, and my shame, and my dishonour: mine adversaries are all before thee.
Reproach hath broken my heart; and I am full of heaviness: and I looked for some to take pity, but there was none; and for comforters, but I found none.
They gave me also gall for my meat; and in my thirst they gave me vinegar to drink,” (see? All of this was fulfilled in Christ and it was being reflected in King David).
“Let their table become a snare before them: and that which should have been for their welfare, let it become a trap.
Let their eyes be darkened, that they see not; and make their loins continually to shake.
Pour out thine indignation upon them, and let thy wrathful anger take hold of them,” (and notice how since the year 70, God’s anger, God’s wrath, fell upon the Hebrew people).
“Let their habitation be desolate; and let none dwell in their tents.
For they persecute him whom thou hast smitten; and they talk to the grief of those whom thou hast wounded.
Add iniquity unto their iniquity: and let them not come into thy righteousness.
Let them be blotted out of the book of the living, and not be written with the righteous.”
And now, notice how the Hebrews were persecuted and they were blotted out; as people, thousands or millions of Hebrews were blotted out of the Earth. They were taken out from among the living, they were blotted out of the book of the living, they were blotted out of the book of the living here on Earth, where their names were registered when they were born; and we find that they perished.
And now, how many of them have been blotted out of the Book of Life? We don’t know how many of those who were present in the days of Jesus.
But notice, Christ said: “Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do.”6 That forgiveness that Jesus asked of God for the Hebrew people translates into: their names remaining written in the Book of Life. And that is why those people who died under the martyrdoms of Hitler, Mussolini, and Stalin, and other dictators, appear in Revelation chapter 6 and verse… let’s see, verse 9 and on; it says:
“And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held.”
See? They didn’t die for the testimony of Jesus, they didn’t die for being believers in Christ, but for the testimony which they held; because they were Hebrews, Jews, believers in the Message of Moses, in the Message of the Law, and they died for the Word of God that God gave them through the Prophet Moses and the prophets; and they had that Word, and they died because they were Jews, keepers of the Law.
“And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?
And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.”
Until the number of one hundred and forty-four thousand is completed, the number that will come in at the Last Day under the ministry of Jesus Christ in Holy Spirit through His Angel-Messenger, through the Angel who comes with the Seal of the living God in Revelation chapter 7, to call and gather and seal one hundred and forty-four thousand Hebrews in their foreheads with the Seal of the living God, with the Holy Spirit.
And since Christ in Holy Spirit is the One who seals with the Seal of the living God, and He comes in the Angel who comes with the Seal of the living God, in other words, He comes in the Angel who has the Holy Spirit; now Christ comes in Revelation chapter 14, appearing on Mount Zion with one hundred and forty-four thousand Hebrew elect, from the twelve tribes of Israel, sealed in their foreheads with the Seal of the living God. “And having their Father’s Name and the Lamb’s Name written in their foreheads.”
Notice how they had the Seal of the living God there; they had the Holy Spirit with the Eternal Name of God and new Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, the Name of the Lamb.
Now, when we speak about the Name of the Lamb, about the new Name of the Lord Jesus Christ… we say this because Jesus Christ Himself is the One who says He has a new Name. And are we not going to speak about what Jesus Christ says that He has? Well, of course we are! Especially about that new Name that He says He received.
And let’s read that passage so that we have a clear picture of that new Name of the Lord. Revelation chapter 3, verse 12, says:
“Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name.”
See how the Lord Jesus Christ is the One who says that He has a new Name? He received that new Name when He died, rose, and ascended to Heaven: He ascended to Heaven victorious, and He sat on the Throne of God; He sat at the right hand of God, and received a new Name which is above every name. He obtained that, He obtained that Name, when He ascended victorious to Heaven and sat at the right hand of God.
Just like when Joseph ascended to the throne and became the second in line to Pharaoh’s throne there in Egypt, he received a new name: Zaphnathpaaneah. Genesis chapter… let’s see, forty-something, around there. Chapter 41, verse 45 and on, says:
“And Pharaoh called Joseph’s name Zaphnathpaaneah; and he gave him to wife Asenath the daughter of Potipherah priest of On. And Joseph went out over all the land of Egypt.
And Joseph was thirty years old when he stood before Pharaoh king of Egypt. And Joseph went out from the presence of Pharaoh, and went throughout all the land of Egypt.”
Now, notice how Joseph was put on Pharaoh’s throne. Notice what it says about Joseph here; chapter 41, verse 38 and on, says:
“And Pharaoh said unto his servants, Can we find such a one as this is, a man in whom the Spirit of God is?
And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, Forasmuch as God hath shewed thee all this, there is none so discreet and wise as thou art:
Thou shalt be over my house, and according unto thy word shall all my people be ruled: only in the throne will I be greater than thou,” (meaning that the second in line to the throne was Joseph).
“And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, See, I have set thee over all the land of Egypt.
And Pharaoh took off his ring from his hand, and put it upon Joseph’s hand, and arrayed him in vestures of fine linen, and put a gold chain about his neck;
And he made him to ride in the second chariot which he had; and they cried before him, Bow the knee: and he made him ruler over all the land of Egypt.
And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, I am Pharaoh, and without thee shall no man lift up his hand or foot in all the land of Egypt.”
Now, notice how this is a type and figure of Christ sitting on the Throne of God in Heaven, and thus, obtaining a new Name, and obtaining everything under His command, being the Administrator of God’s business.
And we find that at the Last Day, Christ will leave the Throne of the Father in Heaven and appear on Earth with a new Name: with the Name He received when He sat on the Throne of the Father in Heaven. That is the Name of which Christ says: “And My new Name,” which He says that He will write upon the Overcomer.
And now, notice that this new Name of the Lord Jesus Christ will be written upon the Overcomer, and the Name of God will be written upon the Overcomer, and the Name of the City of our God, the Name of the new Jerusalem.
And which is the Name of the new Jerusalem? It is the Eternal Name of God. And which is the new Name of the Lord Jesus Christ? It is the Eternal Name of God.
Now, we find that this mystery of the new Name of the Lord, notice, was reflected in the Old Testament in the life of Joseph and the name change that Joseph received. With that new name, we find that Joseph has obtained the kingdom.
And now, we find that He is the One in charge of all of God’s business. Didn’t Christ say: “I must be about My Father’s business?”7 And now, we find Him sitting on the Throne administering God’s business, and with a new Name, a Name which is above every name; because there is no other name above the Eternal Name of God.
And when it says that God gave Him a Name that is above every name, that this Name is not only on Earth but in Heaven too, it can be none other than the Eternal Name of God. Because if it wasn’t the Eternal Name of God, then the Eternal Name of God would be above the Name that Christ received; and the Scripture says there is no other name, neither on Earth nor in Heaven, above that Name; It is the Eternal Name of God. And every child comes in the name of his father.
Now Christ, on one occasion, while He was praying, there in Saint John, He said: “Father, glorify Thy Name;” and a Voice from Heaven, in Saint John chapter 12, spoke. And let’s see what it says there in Saint John chapter 12 about the glorification of that Name: chapter 12, let’s see what it says… chapter 12, verses 27 to 29, says:
“Now is my soul troubled; and what shall I say? Father, save me from this hour: but for this cause came I unto this hour.”
In other words, He had come for this, for what awaited Him: to die on Calvary’s Cross, first taking our sins, and thus, becoming mortal.
“Father, glorify thy name. Then came there a voice from heaven, saying, I have both glorified it, and will glorify it again.
The people therefore, that stood by, and heard it, said that it thundered: others said, An angel spake to him.”
They said it had thundered because when God speaks, the Voice of God, notice, is portrayed as a thunder.
“…Others said, An angel spake to him.”
That is also how He spoke on Mount Sinai.
And now, notice, when He is speaking to Jesus here, the people heard a thunder; others said: “An angel has spoken to Him,” for they remembered that God spoke on Mount Sinai, and when He spoke, what the people were hearing were thunders, and they were seeing lightnings and lights, and the mountain trembled; and not only was the mountain trembling, but all the people were trembling too, even Moses; for the Scripture says so in Hebrews chapter 12, verse 18 and on, and also in the Book of Exodus.8
And now, notice:
“Jesus answered and said, This voice came not because of me, but for your sakes.
Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world be cast out.
And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.”
And now, notice:
“I have both glorified it, and will glorify it again.”
In His First Coming the Name of God was glorified, and in His Second Coming It will be glorified again.
And in His Second Coming, Christ, the Angel of the Covenant, the Angel of the Lord, notice, is the One who has the Name of God. Exodus chapter 23, verse 20 and on, says the following:
“Behold, I send an Angel before thee, to keep thee in the way, and to bring thee into the place which I have prepared.
Beware of him, and obey his voice, provoke him not; for he will not pardon your transgressions: for my name is in him.”
Where does God say that His Name, His Eternal Name, is? It’s in His Angel, in the Angel of the Lord, which is the theophanic body in which God is manifested in the sixth dimension. God has His Eternal Name in that theophanic body.
And at the Last Day, the Eternal Name of God, notice, Christ says that He will write It upon the Overcomer, meaning that the Eternal Name of God will be written. The Eternal Name of God will be where? In the Overcomer, just as it has been in the Angel of the Covenant, the Angel of the Lord.
And that is why at the end time Jesus Christ promises to write His Eternal Name, the Eternal Name of God, and the Name of the City of our God, and the new Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, He promises to write It (where?) upon the Overcomer. In other words, the Overcomer who will be living at the Last Day will have this blessing.
He says: “And I will write the Name of My God, and the Name of the City of My God, and My new Name (where?) upon the Overcomer,” upon the One who Overcomes.
And in Revelation chapter 2, verse 17, it tells us:
“He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it.”
Now, the white Stone is the Second Coming of Christ.
The First Coming of Christ had a Name of Redemption; the Coming of the Stone cut out without hands in His First Coming, which was the First Coming of Christ, had the Name of Redemption: Jesus.
And now, the Coming of that white Stone, the Coming of Christ at the Last Day will have a new Name; that is the new Name that He said He received, that is the new Name that He says He will write upon the Overcomer.
“…And will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it,” (meaning, the Overcomer).
He will be the One who will know that new Name of the Second Coming of Christ as the Lion of the tribe of Judah, as King of kings and Lord of lords in His Claiming Work; and He will know the mystery of His Coming with His new Name, and He will reveal It to the elect of God in the Age of the Cornerstone and Dispensation of the Kingdom through the Voice of Christ speaking through him as when a Lion roars and the Seven Thunders uttering their Voices.
Because the new Name of the Lord Jesus Christ is revealed in the Thunders; because the Thunders reveal the mystery of the Seventh Seal, the mystery of the Second Coming of Christ as the Lion of the tribe of Judah, as King of kings and Lord of lords and His Claiming Work with His new Name.
And now, notice how also in Revelation chapter 19, verses 11 to 16, it tells us:
“And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.”
That is…:
“…(Who) was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.
His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.”
And now, notice that this is the Second Coming of Christ, and now He has a Name that no man knew; therefore, it’s not the Name of Jesus, because everyone on this Earth knows the Name Jesus; that is, everyone on planet Earth knows that the Name Jesus is the Name of the First Coming of Christ.
But now, for the Second Coming of Christ, He comes with a Name that no man knows, in other words, He comes with a new Name; and that is the Eternal Name of God and the Name of the City of our God.
Notice, just like on this Earth there are nations and there are cities named after certain people. For example, Colombia is named after Columbus; they added some letters to it, but it is named after Columbus; and America is named after Amerigo; and we have countless countries named after people.
If you search the history of nations and the names of nations, you will find that there are nations named after people.
For example, the Hebrew people, what is the name of the Hebrew people? Israel. And that is the name of a man, a man who overcame, he fought with the Angel of the Lord, prevailed, and his name was changed from Jacob to Israel.9 See? A nation, the earthly Israel, has the name that the Angel of the Lord, the Angel of the Covenant, named or gave the overcomer.
And now, the Angel of Covenant, the Angel of the Lord, the Overcomer of the Last Day, will give Him that new Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. That is the Name of the Angel of the Covenant, the Angel of the Lord, which He will give the Overcomer.
And the Overcomer will come in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, in the new Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, in the Name of the Angel of the Lord, the Angel of the Covenant, in the Eternal Name of God and of the City of our God.
“…And he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.
And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.”
Just like in the First Coming of Christ, when the Word was made flesh, that veil of flesh where the Word was incarnate, where the Angel of the Lord, the Angel of the Covenant was, had a Name; that veil of flesh there, that vesture, had a Name of Redemption: Jesus was the Name of Redemption.
And here it tells us that His Name is called The Word of God, because the Word will return in human flesh at the Last Day; the Word, the Angel of the Covenant, the Angel of the Lord, will be made flesh at the Last Day, the Angel of the Covenant, the Angel of the Lord, the Holy Spirit, will manifest Himself in human flesh; and He will come with a new Name. A new Name; a new Name because two thousand years ago when He came in human flesh He came with the Name Jesus, which means ‘Redeemer,’ to redeem the human beings.
And now, at the Last Day He will come with the Name of the Lion of the tribe of Judah, with the Name with which He makes the Claim. That is the new Name of the Lord Jesus Christ and that is the Eternal Name of God and the Name of the City of our God; It is the Name of the new Jerusalem. The new Jerusalem has an Eternal Name: it is the Eternal Name of God.
And now, it goes on to say:
“And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.
And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.
And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, King of Kings, and Lord of Lords.”
He has the Name with which He is King of kings and Lord of lords written there.
In other words, “King of kings” is not a name, and “Lord of lords” is not a name; but “King of kings and Lord of lords” has a Name: that is the Eternal Name of God.
The King of kings and Lord of lords has His Eternal Name, and that is the new Name of the Lord Jesus Christ to be manifested in His Second Coming; the Name that He received when He ascended to Heaven. And when He comes down from Heaven, well, He comes with His new Name.
And now, where will this Name: “King of kings and Lord of lords” be written? Where will the Name of the King of kings and Lord of lords be written? On His vesture. If you find the vesture of Christ in His Second Coming, you will find His new Name and the Eternal Name of God and the Name of the King of kings and Lord of lords, to reign over the Hebrew people and over all nations, and for all eternity.
Now, surely there are people who may say: “I would like Jesus Christ to keep His Name Jesus.” But He says that He has a new Name, and that is the new Name for His Second Coming, and that is the Eternal Name of God; the Name that God gave Him, the Name which is above every name. And the only Name which is above every name is the Eternal Name of God.
And now, maybe there are people who say: “If He doesn’t come with the Name He used in His First Coming, I will not receive Him.” Well, then don’t receive Him, you are the one who loses. He said: “My sheep hear My Voice, and they follow Me.”10
Jesus Christ, the Angel of the Covenant, the Angel of the Jehovah of the Old Testament, will come at the Last Day with a new Name, and He will have that new Name on His vesture; just like on His vesture of flesh two thousand years ago, He had the Name of Redemption: Jesus.
And at the Last Day, on His vesture He will have the Name of King of kings and Lord of lords, to reign over the Hebrew people and over all nations. He will have the Eternal Name of God written (where?) on His vesture; in other words, Christ, the Angel of the Covenant, will come clothed in human flesh at the Last Day.
And now, let’s see what the forerunner of the Second Coming of Christ said in the Book The Revelation Of The Seven Seals. On page 318 of The Revelation Of The Seven Seals, referring to the white-horse Rider of Revelation, whom we read about just now, he tells us (while praying):
“[391] …May the Holy Spirit come down now, the white-horse Rider,” (who is the white-horse Rider? The Holy Spirit), “while His Spirit, Spirit of Christ, in the face of antichrist, and call His Own.”
We have seen that the white-horse Rider of Revelation 19 is the Holy Spirit; that is the Angel of the Covenant, the Angel of the Lord, Jesus Christ in Holy Spirit.
And now, notice how He comes in Revelation chapter 19: He comes riding on a snow-white horse.
And now let’s see what that means according to the explanation or revelation that God gave us through the forerunner of His Second Coming, the prophet-messenger: Rev. William Marrion Branham, who came in the Spirit and power of Elijah, forerunning the Second Coming of Christ, forerunning the Coming of the white-horse Rider of Revelation chapter 19 with the Eternal Name, with the Name of King of kings and Lord of lords.
And now, what does he say that the Coming of the white-horse Rider of Revelation 19 will be? On page 295 of the Book The Revelation Of The Seven Seals, he says:
“[196] …When our Lord appears here on earth, He’ll be riding on a snow-white horse. And He’ll be completely, fully, the Emmanuel, the Word of God incarnate in a Man.”
It is the Word of God, the Word, being made flesh again at the Last Day, and that is the Coming of the white-horse Rider of Revelation; it is the Coming of the Angel of the Covenant, of the Angel of the Lord, of Jesus Christ in Holy Spirit manifested in human flesh in the Overcomer, in His Angel-Messenger, in the prophet of the Dispensation of the Kingdom, at the Last Day, in the seventh millennium and Dispensation of the Kingdom.
Now notice what the Coming of the white-horse Rider of Revelation chapter 19 means: it is the Coming of Jesus Christ in Holy Spirit, it is the Coming of the Angel of the Covenant, which is Jesus Christ in Holy Spirit, coming at the Last Day in human flesh, manifested in His Angel-Messenger, in a Prophet of the Last Day; in whom Jesus Christ will be manifested with His new Name and with the Eternal Name of God and Name of the City of our God.
Notice the mystery here of the new Name of the Lord and Eternal Name of God and Name of the City of our God.
And now, each son and daughter of God has their name written in the Lamb’s Book of Life, and—as a mystical Body of believers—they will also have that Name for all eternity; because every child bears the name of their father; and we as individuals, notice, will also have that blessing.
Now, what will it be like? Later on, when we are changed, we will see what it will be like; because our names have been written in the Lamb’s Book of Life before the foundation of the world.
And now, we have to understand that this mystery of the names written in Heaven is a mystery that has been spoken about since the Old Testament, but at the Last Day is when this mystery is completely opened to the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, in the Age of the Cornerstone and Dispensation of the Kingdom.
Notice how the prophet and patriarch Jacob wanted to know the Name of the Angel of the Lord who blessed him. He knew that because it was the Lord manifested in that form of a Man but from another dimension, He had the Eternal Name of God, and he wanted to know It, for Jacob says, he says: “I have seen God face to face;”11 and if he saw God face to face, well, He had to have the Name; He couldn’t have another Name, He had to have the Name of God. And in the reading we had in Exodus chapter 23, verse 20 to 23, God says that the Angel, His Angel, bears His Name.
Moses also wanted to know the Name of God. He told Him: “If they ask me for Your Name, what should I say to them? If they ask me what Your Name is…”12 Notice, when Moses speaks here, if you didn’t notice, there are two intentions behind this question:
- One: the one that seems more ordinary, the question that if they asked for His Name (the Name of the One that appeared to him, the Name of God), to make it known to the Hebrew people, to tell them the Name of the One who was sending him.
- But beyond that, something else, from the depths of Moses’ soul: to know the Name of God.
Just as it happened with Jacob, who wanted to know the Name of God manifested in the form of an Angel, the Angel of the Lord.
And now Moses also wants to know the Name of God, the Name of the Angel of the Lord, which was hidden to the Hebrew people; and we find that God only gave him a few consonants which mankind has not been able to pronounce in the form of a name.
We find that Manoah also wanted to know the Name of the Angel who appeared to him in the form of a Man, and He told him that—through his wife—he would have a son, who would be Samson. And he asked the Angel: “What is Your Name? So that when what you have said comes to pass, we may honor You.” He tells him: “Why do you ask for My Name, seeing it is secret?”13
Because that Name couldn’t be revealed back then, only God’s compound Names were being given to the Hebrew people, but not the Eternal Name of God. Because that is a Divine Revelation that will come from God at the Last Day, in the Coming of the Stone cut out without hands which comes with a new Name, in the Coming of the Angel of the Covenant, of the Angel of the Lord, of Jesus Christ in Holy Spirit manifested in human flesh at the Last Day.
Look for that Name in His vesture, because you will find It there; but no one will understand It except the One who receives It. No one understood that Name, but He Himself; in other words, everything that Name entails, Its details, He Himself is the One who will understand It, so that no one can use It incorrectly.
And now, we find that at the Last Day is when these great and eternal revelations would be received by the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ; and that is why just as She will receive the visit of the Eternal God, the Angel of the Covenant, the Angel of the Lord, the Word coming in human flesh, coming in a man, He will come with His Eternal Name so that God’s elect whose names have been written in the Lamb’s Book of Life before the foundation of the world: those who have departed rise in eternal bodies and we who are alive are changed; and we enter into eternity, we enter into an eternal body, and live for all eternity.
Because everything that He will have will be eternal: His Eternal Name, which is the new Name of the Lord and the Name of the City of our God; and He will also have (what?) a people who will receive eternal bodies, and who will have Eternal Life here on Earth when those who have departed rise and we who are alive are changed; and we will spend thirty to forty days here, and then we will go to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb until the passing of the Great Tribulation, the Divine Judgments that will fall upon the Earth.
But we will be in the Marriage Supper of the Lamb with Christ, enjoying that Great Marriage Supper of the Lamb. “Blessed are they which are called unto the Marriage Supper of the Lamb.” Revelation chapter 19, verse 9.
And after that period of three and a half years with Christ in the House of our Heavenly Father, when the Great Tribulation has passed, when it has finished, we will return to Earth with eternal bodies, in the bodies that we left with (which will be eternal), and we will return to Earth to begin the glorious Millennial Kingdom with our beloved Lord Jesus Christ; and we will reign with Christ a thousand years and then for all eternity.
We also find that in eternity, after the Millennial Kingdom and Judgment Day, we find that in the City of our God, in the new Jerusalem, which will be on Earth, nothing that defiles or works abomination, nothing unclean, will enter into it, rather, only those whose names are (where?) written in the Lamb’s Book of Life. Why? Because that City will be inhabited by the members of the mystical Body of Christ; and every part of that City will tell a story of the people who will live in that City.
For example, when people see the walls, that will be telling the story of the twelve apostles of Christ, because those twelve walls have the names of the twelve apostles of Jesus Christ.
When [people] see the gates of the City: twelve gates, three on each side, those have the names of angels, they have the names of the twelve tribes of Israel; in other words, they will be telling the story, testifying the history of the twelve patriarchs and the twelve tribes of Israel.
So everything there serves as a historical reminder of what happened in the past, among the Hebrew people and among the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ. That is how the entire new Jerusalem is.
And we will stop there, because if we keep going up, you know how far we will go: we will reach the Throne; and if we reach the Throne, the story that the Throne tells, that it testifies, is the story of what will have happened here in the time of the Age of the Cornerstone and Dispensation of the Kingdom.
And what is on the Throne of God in Heaven is what will be there on the Throne of that City; and that is what will have been materialized, reflected, in the mystical Body of Christ, in the Age of the Cornerstone and Dispensation of the Kingdom.
Notice how everything that will be in that City will tell the Love story of God and His people, of Jesus Christ our Savior and His people, His Church, as well as the Hebrew people; in other words, it will be the City of Love, the City of Love Divine, where the Almighty God, who is Love, will be manifested;14 and He redeemed us through His Love.
And now notice where He will put us on this Earth after Judgment Day has passed: we will be in the great City, the City that is fifteen hundred miles15 wide and fifteen hundred miles long and fifteen hundred miles high; and we find that God’s elect will live there. That is our House for eternity. And from there, well, we will move around to the whole Earth and to every place.
Wherever you point there is a universe and there are stars and there are planets. If you go upwards, this way… We say upwards, because upwards is always up, towards the head, and downwards is towards the feet.
Now, whenever we go to any of the places outside of planet Earth, we will find other planets, we will find other galaxies, and we will find other constellations, and we will find places to inhabit; so, there is no problem if the Earth gets filled with human beings.
The planet Earth is one of the smallest compared to the planets that exist, like Jupiter and Saturn, and other planets; and that’s just our solar system, what about the other systems?
Not long ago they discovered a sun, a star, which is much bigger than our sun, and it’s about the size of the orbit of the planet Earth or that the planet Earth goes around, and in the center of the orbit is the sun. And if it’s one of the big ones or it covers an area the size of the Earth’s orbit, then the sun is small in comparison to that star, to that sun. They say the sun is the biggest star that has probably ever existed, but they will always find a bigger one every day.
And now, it is probable, let’s say, it is probable that they find a bigger one later on. Because when people looked up, they used to say: “There are some millions of stars, more or less;” they couldn’t count them. God told Abraham to count them, and he couldn’t either,16 despite being a prophet.
And now, with the telescopes they have, well, they say there are billions of galaxies. And when they say that there are billions of galaxies, if we start to count the planets there are in, let’s say, the… if we start to count the constellations there are in each galaxy, the solar systems there are in each galaxy or in each constellation, and the stars there are in each solar system, and we add it all up (the numbers), notice, that would go around the planet Earth and we would still need more ink to keep writing, and paper too.
Now, notice that God has created all of that, and we are heirs of God and joint-heirs with Christ Jesus our Lord.17 No wonder the Scripture says that He has washed us in His Blood, cleansed us from our sins, and made us unto our God kings and priests.18
The richest kings are the ones whose names have been written in the Lamb’s Book of Life before the foundation of the world. Rejoice because your names have been written in the Lamb’s Book of Life before the foundation of the world!
It has been a great privilege to be with you on this occasion, testifying to you about: “THE MYSTERY OF THE NAMES WRITTEN IN HEAVEN.”
- There are names written in Heaven, in the Lamb’s Book of Life, in that section where they can’t be blotted out: those are the ones redeemed by the Blood of Jesus Christ.
- And in another section, there are also names of people who will remain and come into Eternal Life after the Millennial Kingdom and after Judgment Day; they will come into Eternal Life and thus come into eternity, into the Kingdom of God.
- And there are others whose names are written in the section of the Book of Life, whose names will be blotted out because they didn’t help God’s elect at the time in which they lived; they didn’t help them with anything, and many of them rose against God’s elect.
- And there are other people whose names are not written anywhere except where they were born, there in their country’s registry; but they don’t have their names written in the Lamb’s Book of Life.
- And there are others whose names are not even written in the registry of those who have been born on Earth.
And now, could that be true (that there are people who don’t have their names written in the Book of Life)? Let’s see what the Bible tells us; and if the Bible says so, then that is how it is. In Revelation chapter 13, it tells us in verses… let’s see, chapter 13, verse 1 and on, says:
“And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.” (Other versions may say ‘names of blasphemy’ or ‘blasphemous names.’)
“And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority.
And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed…”
That beast is the Gentile kingdom or empire, the fourth beast that Daniel saw; and it is also the Gentile kingdom in the stage of iron, of the legs of iron, which was wounded; but then was restored; and then, at the end, it becomes the feet of iron and clay; but it is the same beast.
“…And his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast.
And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?
And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months,” (meaning, the forty-two months of the Great Tribulation, which are the three and a half years of the Great Tribulation).
“And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven.
And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.
And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.”
See how they didn’t have their names written in the Lamb’s Book of Life?
And now, we read in Revelation chapter 17, verse 8 and on, where it tells us about the beast again, and it tells us:
“The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.”
Does the Bible say there are people who don’t have their names written in the Book of Life? Of course. There are people who don’t have it written in the Lamb’s Book of Life, and there are others who don’t even have it in the other section of the Book of Life.
We have seen: “THE MYSTERY OF THE NAMES WRITTEN IN HEAVEN,” in the Book of Life:
- In the section of the Life of the Lamb: this is the section of God’s firstborn, of God’s elect.
- And in the other section, of the Book of Life, are the rest of the people who have their names written in Heaven. Many of them (of those who have their names in that section) will remain with their names written there; others, because they acted against God’s elect, God’s firstborn, will lose the right to have their names written there: their names will be erased, their names will be blotted out of the Book of Life, and they will lose the right to Eternal Life.
- And there are others who don’t even have their names written in the section of the Book of Life.
So, we can see: “THE MYSTERY OF THE NAMES WRITTEN IN HEAVEN,” in the Book of Life.
When Christ takes the Book of the Seven Seals, He is taking the Book of Life; the names of God’s firstborn who have been called by their name from age to age are written there; even if they haven’t understood the mystery of the call of Christ when He has called them in the age in which they have been given to live, but Christ said that the Good Shepherd calls His sheep by their name.19
And now, we can see that God’s elect have their names written in the Lamb’s Book of Life, in that section that no name can be blotted out of. “No one will pluck them out of My hand,”20 the Lord says. Those are God’s firstborn, God’s elect, God’s predestinated before the foundation of the world, written in Heaven, in the Lamb’s Book of Life.
May the blessings of Jesus Christ, the Angel of the Covenant, our Savior, be upon each one of you and also upon me. And soon may He complete the number of God’s elect written in Heaven, in the Lamb’s Book of Life, may that number be completed in the Age of the Cornerstone and Dispensation of the Kingdom, in Latin America and the Caribbean. And once that number is completed, may the dead in Christ be raised and we who are alive be changed, and may we receive the eternal body, according to the Divine Promise; and then, may we go from here to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb, as Christ has promised. In the Eternal Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen and amen.
“THE MYSTERY OF THE NAMES WRITTEN IN HEAVEN,” in the Book of Life.
Where are the ones whose names are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life? Here we are in Latin America and the Caribbean, hearing the Voice of Christ calling us in this Final Day, in this Last Day, and putting us in His mystical Body of believers, in the Age of the Cornerstone.
Let’s see where Miguel is around here. Let’s ask Miguel to come up here to continue and conclude our participation this afternoon by thanking Christ for the great blessing of putting our names in Heaven, written in Heaven, in the Lamb’s Book of Life.
Rejoice because your names are written in Heaven, in the Lamb’s Book of Life!
Well, may God continue to bless you all, may God keep you. And continue having an afternoon filled with the blessings of Jesus Christ.
