Victory Day

Good evening, beloved friends and brethren present. Greetings to Bishop Luis Moreno and his wife Linda Idrovo, from Ecuador, and also Bishop Pablo Real, from Argentina, and all the ministers present, and also those in other nations who are connected to this broadcast by satellite and also by internet.

It is a great privilege for me to be with you on this occasion, to share some moments of fellowship with you around the Word of God and His Program pertaining to this end time.

In Romans chapter 5, Saint Paul the Apostle tells us… verse 6 and on, says:

For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.

For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die.

But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.

For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.”

May God bless our souls with His Word and allow us to understand It.

VICTORY DAY.”

God shows His full love by sending Christ to die for us; that is the greatest evidence of God’s love for the human being. There were no animals that could take away our sins, they only covered them with the blood of those sacrifices, but the sin was not taken away; those sacrifices were only a type and figure of Christ and His Sacrifice on Calvary’s Cross to take away our sins.

That is why when John the Baptist was baptizing, on one occasion he saw Christ and said: “Behold the Lamb of God, which takes away the sin of the world.”1 Christ doesn’t cover sin, rather, He takes it away. It’s like bleach or chlorine, which doesn’t cover stains but instead removes them; and if It removes them, we are justified before God, as if we had never sinned.

Now, Christ being our Savior, being our Kinsman Redeemer, is our elder Brother; that is why He says in Hebrews chapter 2: Behold I and the children which God hath given me.” And that is why He also says: “I will declare thy name unto my brethren.”

Christ identified Himself as our elder Brother, who came for His younger brothers to restore them to Eternal Life.

The human being fell in the Garden of Eden and lost his Life, Eternal Life; he was only left with temporary life, which has devalued so much that it is no longer like in the times of Methuselah, when they lived nine hundred and some years, and in the times of Noah too. Human life, the physical body, has become so contaminated that to reach 100 years old is a great victory; to reach 100 years old, but it takes a lot of work to reach that age.

But God sent Christ to restore all the sons and daughters of God, to restore them to Eternal Life. They are written in Heaven, in the Lamb’s Book of Life, and therefore Christ died for those people who are also called God’s firstborn written in the Lamb’s Book of Life. They are represented in the firstborn of Israel there in Egypt, for which a lamb died in each family, to preserve the life of those firstborn.

And Christ died for me, and for whom else? For each one of you as well, to preserve our life; for it to be preserved for all eternity.

[John 3:16] “… God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

Therefore, our victory is Christ. He gives us the victory against the enemy, He gives us the victory against death; that is why there are Divine promises that speak about a resurrection in eternal bodies for the believers in Christ. They are not going to resurrect in mortal bodies because they would die again; it’s in glorified, eternal, immortal, and young bodies for all eternity.

Just as Christ is glorified and He is as young as when He ascended to Heaven, I will also be that way. And who else? Each one of you, too. Because that blessing isn’t just for me, it’s for everyone who believes in Christ.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

Those who would form the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ under the New Covenant, have been represented in those who lived in the Old Covenant, which are the Hebrews; that is why they had the types and figures that represented Christianity, Christianity in types and figures in the Old Testament.

Then in the New Covenant we have the reality: The Church of the Lord Jesus Christ made up of all the believers in Christ is the people of the New Covenant, It is the people where all the types and figures that God ordered the Hebrew people to carry out become a reality.

For example, Israel had the sacrifice of the lamb for the firstborn, and in the New Covenant we have the Sacrifice of the Lamb of God, Christ, for the firstborn of the New Covenant. The believers in Christ, if the problem of the Garden of Eden had not happened, we would have been on this Earth since the days of Adam and Eve; those were the children that Adam and Eve were supposed to have.

In other words, Christ would come and we would be the seed of Christ. That is why Christ is the second Adam, because He is the One who restores all those who are written in Heaven, in the Lamb’s Book of Life; He restores them to Eternal Life, He reconciles them to God.

Therefore, the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ made up of the believers in Christ is the greatest thing that God has on Earth; to the point that It is represented in a temple. The tabernacle that Moses built and the temple that King Solomon built are a type and figure of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ.

That is why in that tabernacle which Moses built and the temple that King Solomon built, when it was finished (when the construction was finished) and it was dedicated to God, the Presence of God came and entered the temple, and He placed Himself inside the most holy place,2 upon the mercy seat, between the two cherubims of gold, which is the cover of the ark of the covenant where there was the Word: the tables of the Law.

And the Church now, the Scripture tells us It is the Temple of God under the New Covenant; the Temple of God is the mystical Body of Christ, It is God’s dwelling place. And when that Temple is completed, when it is completed with all those who would form the Church, then God’s Presence in all His fullness will come, and there will be such a powerful manifestation as has never happened before in the history of mankind.

It will last a short time, but that powerful manifestation of God will be here; because if it is a temple, when it is concluded, when it is completed with stones, living stones (as Saint Peter says in First Peter chapter 2, verses 4 to 9), he tells us that we are living stones to be a Holy Temple in the Lord; it is a Temple that grows from stage to stage. Just like a construction: it grows as they place stones or bricks. It starts from the bottom up; and then at the peak, it reaches the top; that is the stage to put the Cornerstone: the Second Coming of Christ.

Back then, two thousand years ago, in the First Coming of Christ, there was the Cornerstone, the Capstone for the Church of the Old Covenant, which was rejected; but the Kingdom would be given to another people, It would be given to another people who would bring forth His fruits.3 That is the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ in which – in whom the Divine promises are being fulfilled.

The only people who are under a Covenant with God is the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, because we are already in the New Covenant since the Day of Pentecost until now.

The Sacrifice for the New Covenant, the Blood of that Sacrifice was shed on Calvary’s Cross. Remember Christ in Saint Matthew chapter 26, verses 26 to 29, saying… upon taking the bread, giving thanks He broke it, He said to His disciples: “Everyone eat of it, for this is My body.” He typified His body in the bread. And taking the cup of wine and giving thanks to the Father, He gives to His disciples and says: “Drink ye all of it, for this is My Blood of the New Testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.”

And now, under the New Covenant there are no animal sacrifices; that was the shadow and figure of what would come later on: one perfect sacrifice alone, it is the Sacrifice of Christ on Calvary’s Cross. We don’t need another sacrifice either; when there is already something perfect, there is no need for something additional.

And now under the New Covenant, just as God worked under the Old Covenant with the people of Israel, He has been working in the New Covenant with the people of the New Covenant, which is the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ. And just as God dwelt in the midst of the Hebrew people, now for about two thousand years He has been dwelling in the midst of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ. He said: “I will be with you always, even unto the end of the world.”

The Church has been going through different stages, but with Christ walking by Her side, Christ in Holy Spirit. And Christ in Holy Spirit is the Angel of the Covenant who delivered Israel from bondage in Egypt.

Remember that Christ said in Saint John chapter 8, verses 54 to 56: “Your father Abraham rejoiced to see My day: and he saw it, and was glad.” Then the Jews say to Him: “You are not yet fifty years old, and You say that You have seen Abraham?” Christ says to them: “Before Abraham was, I am.”

It’s because Christ is the Angel of the Covenant, the Angel of the Lord; that is why He comes to establish a New Covenant: “This is My Blood of the New Testament.” And what’s more, under the New Covenant, all the blessings of redemption belong to the believers that are part of and that are in the New Covenant. That is the greatest blessing for a person: to be in the New Covenant in the stage of the Church in which you are living.

Notice what it says in First Timothy chapter 3, verses 14 and on, Saint Paul writing to Timothy says:

These things write I unto thee, hoping to come unto thee shortly:

But if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how thou oughtest to behave thyself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth.”

The House of God: the Temple of God: the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Each believer in Christ as an individual is also a human temple, a spiritual temple; just as was Christ when He said in Saint John chapter 2: “Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.” They thought He was telling people to destroy the literal temple that was there; in other words, they were looking at Him as a terrorist.

Because that was one of the things that was brought to light against Him there, by the high priest, when he was judging Him, and by some accusers who said: “He said that we should destroy the temple and that He would build it, raise it up in three days.” But the same chapter 2 of Saint John says: “But He was speaking of His body, of His temple, His body.”

We are a temple of God, our physical body is a human temple; that is why the Spirit of God comes to the human being, to dwell in the human being. Just as He dwelt in the tabernacle that Moses built, and as He dwelt in the temple that King Solomon built, and as God dwelt in Jesus, He has been dwelling in human beings which are a temple of God.

And therefore, being a temple, the human being has an outer court, holy place, and most holy place; the outer court: the body; the holy place: the spirit of the person; and the most holy place: the soul of the person.

That is why the soul, which is the most important place, which is what the person actually is: that is the place where God dwells. That is also why the heart, the heart is a synonym of the soul.

That is why when people are given the opportunity to receive Christ as Savior, they are told: “Give your heart to Christ,” or “Give your soul to Christ.” Remember that the soul is what the person actually is. The spirit of the person is a body from another dimension, a body of the world of the spirits; and the physical body is of this Earth, it is earthly. That is why when it dies: “From dust you were taken, to dust you shall return.”4

Now, it seems that we have a few temples: the human being as a human temple, the Church also as a human temple made up of human beings, a spiritual Temple.

Just as the Spirit of God comes to the person, to dwell in the person, being a human temple for God to dwell in him in spirit… As Saint Paul said: “Don’t you know that you are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?”5 Christ also comes that way in Holy Spirit to His Temple, made up of believers in Him, to His Church. For He promised: “I am with you always, even unto the end of the world.” Saint Matthew chapter 28, verses 16 to 20, mainly verse 20. And in chapter 18, verse 20 of Saint Matthew, He also says: “Where two or three are gathered together in My Name, there will I be.”

So, Christ has been in Holy Spirit in the midst of His people, in the midst of His Church, in the midst of the people of the New Covenant, for about two thousand years; and He is still in the midst of His Church.

And when He completes His Church, the construction of that spiritual Temple, of that mystical Temple of believers in Christ, will have been completed.

And when a construction is completed, there is a dedication, like the dedication that Moses made of that tabernacle he built; and God came and dwelt in that temple. And what did Solomon do when he built the temple? He dedicated it to God; and God came and dwelt in it.

Now, the Coming of the Lord is to the New Temple, to the Temple made up of human beings. And that is why there are the promises of the Second Coming of Christ to His Temple, to His Church; because it’s to His Church that He comes, to change those who are alive and take them with Him to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb; and those who have died, to resurrect them in glorified bodies.

And there will be a gathering at the end time, at the Last Day, a meeting of all those who died in the past being resurrected in the Coming of the Lord to His Church, and a transformation for those who are alive; and everyone will be young then; they will be glorified people, with glorified bodies, eternal bodies, immortal bodies. That is what Christ has for all the believers in Him at the Last Day.

And it says in Philippians chapter 3, verses 20 to 21… It is important to always know what God has promised for the believers in Him, because it is not a matter of going to Church and saying: “I believe in God.” It is important to also be aware of, to also know which are the promises and what are the responsibilities before God of all believers. Chapter 3, verses 20 to 21 of Philippians:

For our conversation is in heaven…”

Any person may say: “My citizenship is in the country where I was born.” That is the citizenship of your birth according to the flesh; but of the birth… of the new birth, it’s in the Kingdom of God; you have been translated from the kingdom of darkness to the Kingdom of God; you have been born in the Kingdom of God as a new creature. So, we have dual citizenship: the earthly and the heavenly; and therefore, a double benefit, a double blessing.

from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ…”

See? Who is the one waiting for the Coming of the Lord? The believers in Christ who form the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, or in clearer words, Christianity. It says:

… who shall change our vile body…”

He will change our physical body: He will make it immortal, glorified, and young like His own body. Let’s see:

who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body…”

So that our body may be (how?) fashioned like unto His glorious body; so that we may be like Him.

As our elder Brother is, so will we be physically. Everything Christ is Heir to, so are the believers in Christ. Christ is the Heir of all Creation, but the believers in Christ are joint-heirs with Him. Christ is the Bright and Morning Star, the believers are stars as well. Christ is the Light of the world, and Christ says: “You are the light of the world.”6

See? Everything Christ is Heir to, so are the believers in Christ, which are His brethren. And Christ is the Father of the Family, of that Family of the second Adam; Christ is the second Adam, and His Family, His seed, His children are the believers in Him.

And now, on Calvary’s Cross we obtained the victory, He obtained it for us; and when He rose, He obtained the victory over death; and when He resurrects… when we receive Him as Savior, we obtain the victory as well; and when we persevere, serving Christ in good times and bad times, we are obtaining the victory as well. And when we are changed we will obtain the victory against physical death, because we will obtain the physical immortality that we need so much.

But we already have Eternal Life, it’s just that our physical body is still earthly; when it is glorified it will be a body with Eternal Life, not temporary life.

But in hope and in faith we remain waiting for His Coming to His Church, to the people of the New Covenant, to receive Him when He comes with the saints which slept and resurrects them, and then changes us. We will see them and then will be changed; there is the promise that there will be a rapture or catching away to go to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb.

How are we going to go there? There are no airplanes, there are no means of transportation; but don’t worry: Elijah left in a chariot of fire,7 Christ also went up.8 The chariots of God are counted by the thousands. The chariots of fire, the UFOs or flying saucers as they are called, those have been there the whole time.

When Abraham was visited by Elohim and the two Angels who were with Elohim9 —which were Gabriel and Michael— they were people who came to Earth with a purpose; they are extraterrestrials, as it is thought; but remember, they were on Earth before us.

In other words, God has always been on Earth, and on many occasions He has allowed Himself to be seen, He has revealed Himself, He has made Himself known to human beings; which He has done in a Pillar of Fire, in a cloud; and on other occasions, clothed in a body of flesh, as it happened when Melchizedek appeared to Abraham in chapter 14 of Genesis; and as it happened when He visited Abraham before the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah, and ate with Abraham.

In other words, there have been visits of God to Earth in a visible form to those to whom He has appeared. Moses wished to see Him and God told him: “No man shall see Me and live.” He placed him on the rock and told him: “I will pass by proclaiming the Name of the Lord, then I will take away My hand; and then you will see My back parts, or My back.”10 His back parts like a man, as others saw Him; like Jacob, who wrestled with the Angel of God and prevailed.11

We must fight to overcome, fight for the blessing of God.

That Angel who also appeared to Joshua with a sword in His hand12 is the Commander-in-Chief of the heavenly hosts, it is Christ in His heavenly body.

Remember that the Angel of the Covenant is Christ in His heavenly body; that is why when He came two thousand years ago, He was fulfilling the prophecy of Malachi chapter 3, where it tells us that He will send His messenger before Him. Let’s see how He says it in order to…

Remember that Jesus Christ is God’s most important person on Earth and also in Heaven. All things were made by Him and for Him.13 Malachi chapter 3, verse 1 and on, says:

Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me,” (that was John the Baptist), “and the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the Lord of hosts.”

Who sent John the Baptist? Who would John the Baptist be preparing the way for? For the Lord, the Angel of the Covenant; in other words, for God in His heavenly body called the Angel of the Covenant, clothed in a veil of flesh called Jesus. As simple as that. That is why in Jesus dwelt the fullness of God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. That is why Christ said: “The Father that dwells in Me, He does the works.”14

And now, there will be a VICTORY DAY for all the believers in Christ, when Christ completes His Church, takes the Title Deed in Heaven, which is the Seven-Sealed Book of Revelation chapter 5 and chapter 10, and brings It to Earth; and fulfills His Coming to His Church as the Lion of the tribe of Judah, as King of kings and Lord of lords in His Claiming Work.

It is important to know how the First Coming of Christ was: as Lamb; and His Second Coming will be as Lion of the tribe of Judah, as King and as Judge. Therefore, the prophecies pertaining to His Second Coming will be fulfilled at this end time.

That is why when Christ read Isaiah chapter 61, and He reached the part where it said: “To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord,” He stopped there;15 and He didn’t read the other part of that verse, which said: “and the day of vengeance of our God,” because the day of vengeance is to be fulfilled in His Second Coming.

That is the change there will be of Christ as Lamb to Lion, as High Priest to Judge and King. He is the Root and the Offspring of David, the Bright and Morning Star.16 He is the white-horse Rider of Revelation chapter 19. He will come to claim everything He has redeemed with His precious Blood; and the Second Coming of Christ to His Church will be a victory day.

It is important that all the people who hear the preaching of the Gospel of Christ and the faith of Christ is born in their soul, if they have not received Him yet, receive Him as soon as possible; because when He comes, there will no longer be an opportunity to receive Him as Savior, He will be received by those who already received Him as Savior; they will receive Him in His Second Coming to be changed and taken with Christ to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb.

Continue having a happy evening, filled with the blessings of Christ our Savior.

VICTORY DAY.”
