The Prophecy of the Two Olive Trees

Good afternoon, ministers and ladies and youth present, and also ministers and congregations in different nations.

May the blessings of Christ, the Angel of the Covenant, be upon all of you and also upon me.

For this occasion, let’s read in the book of Revelation (or the Apocalypse), in chapter 11, verse 1 and on, which says:

“And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein.

But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months.

And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.

These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth.

And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed.

These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will.

And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them.

And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.

And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and an half, and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves.

And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another; because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth.

And after three days and an half the spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them.

And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them.

And the same hour was there a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain of men seven thousand: and the remnant were affrighted, and gave glory to the God of heaven.

The second woe is past; and, behold, the third woe cometh quickly.

And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.

And the four and twenty elders, which sat before God on their seats, fell upon their faces, and worshipped God,

Saying, We give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come; because thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and hast reigned.

And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.

And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his testament: and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail.”

May God bless our souls with His Word and allow us to understand It.

In our series: “THE REVELATION OF JESUS CHRIST,” for this occasion the subject or subtopic will be: “THE PROPHECY OF THE TWO OLIVE TREES.”

This prophecy of Revelation, chapter 11, which speaks to us of the Two Olive Trees… and it tells us that they are the Two Candlesticks standing before the God of the Earth.

In Zechariah, chapter 4, verses 1 to 14, God showed this prophet (Zechariah) a lampstand or candlestick with seven lamps, and a bowl or vessel at the top of the lampstand or candlestick. That bowl contained the olive oil that was supplied to the lamps of the candlestick; and on each side of the candlestick, the prophet Zechariah was shown an olive tree; and two olive branches, one from each tree, reached the bowl and poured oil like gold into the bowl of the candlestick.

The oil like gold represents the Holy Spirit.

The two olive trees and the two branches, notice, there we have the ministries that are appointed for this end time: the ministries of the Two Witnesses, which are the ministries of Moses and Elijah that will be repeated at this end time.

And that is why we find in Revelation, chapter 11, that the same signs or the same judgments that the Holy Spirit brought through Moses and through the prophet Elijah, these judgments are again brought by the Holy Spirit, by God, under the ministry and time of the ministry of these Two Witnesses that are promised for this end time.

Those are the two olive branches, they are the two olive trees, and they are also the two candlesticks standing before the God of the Earth.

In the Old Testament we have the types and figures. Back then, the temple – or the tabernacle and then the temple, had the full type and figure of the heavenly Temple, of what there is in Heaven.

We find the most holy place of that tabernacle, and then of the temple that Solomon built, which is a type and figure of the Most Holy Place of the heavenly Temple. And the mercy seat, which is on the ark of the covenant, which is the cover of the ark of the covenant, and is made of pure gold; and it has two cherubims, one on each side, one looking to one side and the other to the other side, looking to the ark of the covenant: we find that they are also a type and figure of these ministries, and that in Heaven these ministries are those of Michael and Gabriel; those are the Two Olive Trees in Heaven, in the heavenly Temple; they stand before God.

Remember that Gabriel, when he appeared to Zacharias the priest, said to him: “I am Gabriel, who stands before God.” Let’s see how he said it, so we can have it exactly as it was said by the Angel Gabriel: chapter 1 of Saint Luke, verse 19, says:

“And the angel answering said unto him, I am Gabriel, that stand in the presence of God; and (behold) am sent to speak unto thee, and to shew thee these glad tidings.”

And now, here he says that he is before God, and that is why he could also minister in the Holy Place, where the altar of incense was.

And, notice, as a messenger sent from God to bring good news, he is the messenger that brings that good news from God to Zacharias; and then, later on, to the Virgin Mary as well.[1]

He is God’s Man sent from Heaven, that is why I have always called him: the prophet Angel from another dimension; because he was the one who told the prophet Daniel the things that would happen to Daniel’s people, to Daniel’s city, Jerusalem; and he also showed him the kingdom of the Gentiles represented in a statue that King Nebuchadnezzar saw, in chapter 2 of the book of Daniel, where he showed him the kingdom of the Gentiles and the different stages it would go through; and then the end of the kingdom of the Gentiles, which pertains to the time of the feet of iron and clay of the kingdom or empire of the Gentiles.

It began with the head of gold, which is Nebuchadnezzar and his empire, and it will end in the feet of iron and clay, which is the stage in which the kingdom of the Gentiles has been for many years and centuries as well; for the legs of iron already passed, because that was the Roman Empire of the Caesars.

And now, it was the Angel Gabriel who brought those prophecies to the prophet Daniel, and Daniel gave them to the people by writing them so that they would be recorded in writing for mankind; it was a political vision and it also had a spiritual or religious aspect.

All politicians must necessarily know that and other prophecies of the book of Daniel, brought by a… let’s say: “extraterrestrials,” as many people say or might say; but it’s by a character from another dimension, a man but from another dimension, one of those who stand before the Presence of God.

In Daniel’s time, we find that this Angel Gabriel was very active in the political world and also in the religious world; and the Angel or Archangel Michael helped him on different occasions, when the Angel Gabriel needed him and asked for Michael’s intervention with His Army.

To have an idea of how things are in the invisible world, we must look at how things are in this earthly and visible world; and that way we have a clearer picture and we can understand that, just like here in our earthly dimension there are rulers, there are people in different political and religious positions, it is also the same way in the spiritual world or invisible world or spirit world. There are also armies here, and over there too; there are wars, and over there too.

Chapter 12 of Daniel and chapter 12 of Revelation show us the Angel or Archangel Michael in a war, fighting against the dragon, fighting against the devil, who will be incarnate (the devil) in the antichrist at the Last Day or end time. As simple as that.

The white-horse Rider of Revelation will make war against the antichrist, against the beast and the army or armies of the beast; for Christ also has His Army in Revelation, chapter 19, which are all the redeemed by the Blood of Christ, many of whom we find have departed throughout the ages, and there is a small group left on Earth; but all those who departed will be resurrected in eternal bodies, they will return to Earth with immortal, young bodies and with all the power of God.

With the new glorified, and eternal, and young body, death will no longer have a place in the elect.

And with an Army of immortals, Christ will have the victory over the beast and the army of the beast, or the armies of the beas-… of the antichrist; that is, of the devil, who will be incarnate in the antichrist.

And then, peace will come: peace in the Kingdom of God, in the Kingdom of the Messiah, which the Prince Messiah will bring.

It is important to know these things to be able to understand why the planet Earth and all of mankind are in the condition that they are in. It’s because we have reached the end time, or Last Day, in which the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ will be completed; and Christ will then leave the Throne of Intercession, He will rise from the Throne of Intercession, from the Father’s Throne, to carry out His Claiming Work: by taking the Title Deed, opening It in Heaven, and bringing It to Earth and giving It to the one to whom It corresponds; and He will command him to prophesy before many peoples, nations, and tongues; for the things that are going to happen will be spoken, prophesied.

Like when God called Moses there in the burning bush that was not consumed, and He sent him to Egypt to bring the Hebrew people out of bondage, and He told him the things that Moses had to speak there in Egypt,[2] among which we find the ten plagues; he didn’t speak them all at the same time, rather, every time that God told him: “Tell Pharoah… Say what will happen: ‘Such-and-such a plague is going to come,’” and it would come.[3]

The magicians started to do the same thing; meaning that when Moses would say that plagues were coming: “Let there be plagues, let there be lice,” or “let there be flies,” the magicians through their enchantments also produced flies and lice at the relevant time. Just like when Moses through Aaron, with Aaron, cast down the rod, his rod, to the ground before Pharaoh and it turned into a serpent, a snake, and then the magicians came by the Pharaoh’s command and cast down their rods as well, and they turned into serpents, into snakes; but the rod of Moses swallowed them up.[4]

In other words, the power of God will swallow up, will absorb, every power of the enemy. The power of the enemy won’t be able to stand against the power of God. Therefore, Moses obtained the victory there against the magicians who were serving Pharaoh and his kingdom.

Likewise, when Moses would speak the plagues that were going to come and the magicians also saw them appear, they would start saying: “We can also do the same thing,” and they would also produce the same kind of thing; but they couldn’t make them go away; that was the difference.

Like with their rods: they cast them down to the ground and they turned into serpents or snakes, but they couldn’t take them, because the rod of Moses swallowed them up; but Moses was able to take his rod, which had turned into a snake, later it was turned back into a rod.

So, when the plagues were coming down, Pharoah then asked Moses to pray to God, to ask God to take away the plague that was coming down. And Moses would ask God, Moses would command —on behalf of God— that the plague should go away; and the plague would go away, it would disappear.

For the time of the great tribulation, the plagues will come down again, they will be repeated. The only one who will be able to take away any plague will be Moses and Elijah. So, there will be a work to be carried out.

Now, before the great tribulation, something very important will be taking place.

Remember that before Moses went to Egypt, he was already an elderly man, he had already met God, and he had already come to know God before he got to Egypt.

Before speaking the plagues, such as drought, Elijah said – he said around chapter 17 of the book of Kings… In the book of Kings, First Kings, chapter 17, notice, Elijah had already known God, the God of Israel, for many years. Chapter 17 of First Kings, verse 1 and on, says:

“And Elijah the Tishbite, who was of the inhabitants of Gilead, said unto Ahab, As the Lord God of Israel liveth, before whom I stand, there shall not be dew nor rain these years, but according to my word.”

And now notice how a man can say: “There shall not be rain”; he is declaring the drought: “There shall not be rain all these days, but according to my word.”

“… there shall not be dew nor rain these years (meaning that he declared the drought for years), but according to my word.”

In other words, for rain to then fall, he (the prophet Elijah) had to remove the plague of the drought by speaking the correct Word, the Word that would bring rain: by declaring rain. Just as he declared the drought by speaking the creative Word and taking away the rain, he then had to speak the creative Word for the rain to come: “There will be no rain nor dew, but according to My Word.”

Spiritually, we find that at the end time or the Last Day, after the seven Church ages, there will be no spiritual rain except by the Word of the ministry of Elijah. The Latter and Former Rain, of the Gospel of the Kingdom and of the Gospel of Grace, at the Last Day, will come by the ministry of Elijah; so that a spiritual blessing may come upon the believers in Christ, and that blessing may extend to all mankind.

The Former and Latter Rain is promised for the end time, where both rains will be falling at the same time: the Rain of the teaching of the Gospel of the Kingdom, which revolves around the Second Coming of Christ; and the Former Rain, which revolves around the First Coming of Christ. Both teaching Rains will be on Earth among mankind at the Last Day, by the Word of the ministry of Elijah, the ministry of one of the Two Olive Trees.

These two ministries are promised for the Last Day, and therefore, will have a very important role in the midst of the human race.

The prophecy of the Last Day, or the prophetic Message of the Last Day, corresponds to the ministries of Moses and Elijah. Whoever receives and eats the little Book brought by the Mighty Angel who comes down from Heaven in Revelation, chapter 10, which is the Book of the Seven Seals or the Seven-Sealed Book, which is opened in Heaven by Christ… It is also the Lamb’s Book of Life, It is the Title Deed of Eternal Life, It is the Title Deed of the Heavens and the Earth, the Title Deed of all Creation, where the names of all those who would be members of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ are written.

Adam had that Title Deed, and he lost It when he sinned; It went back to the right hand of God, who is sitting on the heavenly Throne. And at the Last Day Christ will take It and open It in Heaven, once He has completed His Church; He will bring It to Earth and give It to a man so that he eats It, and then He tells him: “You must prophesy before many peoples, nations, tongues and kings.”

“And He said unto me…,” chapter 10, verse 11 [Revelation]:

“And he said unto me, Thou must prophesy again before many peoples, and nations, and tongues, and kings.”

What is he going to prophesy? He is going to prophesy the things that will come to pass, which are contained in this Book; in this Book that he eats, to then prophesy according to the content in that Book that he ate.

It’s like what happened to the prophet Jeremiah and to the prophet Ezekiel. For example, in the case of the prophet Ezekiel, we find that he was told to eat what he found. Chapter 2, verse 7 and on, says:

“And thou shalt speak my words unto them, whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear: for they are most rebellious.

But thou, son of man, hear what I say unto thee; Be not thou rebellious like that rebellious house: open thy mouth, and eat that I give thee.

And when I looked, behold, an hand was sent unto me; and, lo, a roll of a book was therein;

And he spread it before me; and it was written within and without: and there was written therein lamentations, and mourning, and woe.”

And then chapter 3 goes on to say [verse 1]:

“Moreover he said unto me, Son of man, eat that thou findest; eat this roll, and go speak unto the house of Israel.

So I opened my mouth, and he caused me to eat that roll.

And he said unto me, Son of man, cause thy belly to eat.”

Remember that man shall not live by bread alone, but by every Word that proceeds out of the mouth of God. You can’t spiritually feed yourself with physical food; it has to be with spiritual food: it has to be with the Word of God. “Man will not live by bread alone, but by every Word that proceeds out of the mouth of God.” (Saint Matthew, chapter 4, verse 4.)

And here, this Word that is given to Ezekiel, is Food for Ezekiel; It is sweet in his mouth, but It is bitter in his belly.

The Word of God is sweet; nothing is sweeter than honey, except the Word of God. And it also brings certain difficult situations, such as persecutions, criticism against the person who eats the Word; both the messenger for the age that is in effect (and that messenger appears and receives the Word, the Message of God for his time; and then he speaks It and the people receive It too)… but then there are also persecutions, things that we wouldn’t want, but which come. That happened with all of God’s prophets, including the Lord Jesus Christ Himself and the apostles. Therefore, that is how it is, and we can’t avoid it being that way.

Remember that it was the same case back in the time of Abraham: the son of the bondwoman persecuted the son of the freewoman, the son of the promise.[5]

It goes on to say [verse 2]:

“So I opened my mouth, and he caused me to eat that roll.

And he said unto me, Son of man, cause thy belly to eat, and fill thy bowels with this roll that I give thee. Then did I eat it; and it was in my mouth as honey for sweetness,” (the same thing happens in Revelation, chapter 10, verse 1 to 11).

“And he said unto me, Son of man, go, get thee unto the house of Israel, and speak with my words unto them.”

For the words are in the scroll that he ate.

Remember that books were scrolls back then, they were scrolls of skin; and then, later on, there were also scrolls (in some countries) of papyrus and other things; and among the Hebrew people we find that they commonly used books written on scrolls of skin.

And now, we can see what happens here with Ezekiel, which is later also repeated in Revelation chapter 10.

Then, in chapter 11, the one who ate the Book is already prophesying; prophesying with the words contained in the Seven-Sealed Book, which is opened by the Lord and brought to Earth and given to a man; just as It was given to John, who is the type and figure of the one who will eat the Book at the Last Day; for John represents each messenger of the Church of the Lord —and especially the last one— as well as the Church of the Lord.

And now, in Revelation, chapter 14, it also tells us, verse 6 to 7:

“And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people.”

And now, the order received by the one who eats the Book in Revelation, chapter 10, later we find that it’s the same person: the one who is sent to prophesy, to preach the Everlasting Gospel to all those who dwell on the Earth, to every nation, tribe, tongue, and people. That is the one who has the ministry of the Last Day, in whom the ministries promised for the Last Day will be manifested; and thus, the prophecy of the Two Olive Trees of Revelation, chapter 11, verse 1 to 11… or 1 to 14, will be fulfilled, and the Divine Program that God has for the promise of the Two Olive Trees will be fulfilled.

Since the candlestick in the New Covenant is the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, with His seven ages or seven lamps, and the Two Olive Trees are on either side of the candlestick, there will be a relationship between the Two Olive Trees and the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Remember that the fourth manifestation of Elijah appears where? In the Church of the Lord, in the seventh age; therefore, that is where it continues; and then it will make the connection with the Hebrew people.

Therefore, you will see that ministry moving from the Church, from among Christianity, to the Hebrew people; it is the ministry that will be able to make that connection with the Hebrew people, that overlap with the Hebrew people; and Moses comes with him, the ministry of Moses also comes with Elijah.

Therefore, in the midst of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ there will be a great blessing at the Last Day, at the end time, which will later pass to the Hebrew people as well. It’s through the Two Olive Trees, the ministries of Moses and Elijah, that the Good Tidings, the Gospel, will pass to the Hebrew people; the Gospel of the Kingdom will go from among the Gentiles to the Jews. As plain or simple as that.

And now, to get a clearer picture, let’s read what Reverend William Branham said in the message “The Feast Of The Trumpets.” On page 129, verse 1150[6] (that is, one thousand one hundred and fifty), he says [Quotations]:

1150 – “[270] Now, as soon as this Church… (…) that mystery of the Seventh Seal, or the Seventh Seal, the mystery of going.”

In other words, the mystery of the Seventh Seal will be known by the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ; and the Seventh Seal is the Coming of the Lord at the Last Day:

1150 – “[270] Now, as soon as this Church… (…) that mystery of the Seventh Seal, or the Seventh Seal, the mystery of going. And the Jews is called by the mystery of the Seventh Trumpet, which is two prophets, Elijah and Moses.”

In other words, the mystery of the Seventh Seal is revealed to the Church; and the mystery of the Seventh Trumpet is revealed to the Hebrew people: they receive the call of God through the ministry of the Two Olive Trees, under the mystery of the Seventh Trumpet sounding.

Page 130 also says, paragraph 1164[7]:

1164 – “[158] Remember, that, ‘They which are alive and remain shall not hinder those which are sleeping, for the Trump of God, that last Trumpet…’ The sixth one has just sounded. And that last Trumpet, like the last Seal, will be the Coming of the Lord. ‘It shall sound, and the dead in Christ shall rise first.’”

The Seventh Trumpet, like the Seventh Seal, is what? The Coming of the Lord.

And now let’s turn to page 149, paragraph 1333[8] which says… of the book of Quotations (this quote is taken from the message: “Broken Cisterns”), he says:

1333 – “[158] Remember, that, ‘They which are alive and remain shall not hinder those which are sleeping, for the Trump of God, that last Trumpet…’ The sixth one has just sounded. And that last Trumpet, like the last Seal, will be the Coming of the Lord. ‘It shall sound, and the dead in Christ shall rise first.’ Just resting (meaning, those who have departed are just resting, until what?), till that time.”

And we who are alive: well, we are waiting for the fulfillment of His promise.

The Seventh Trumpet and the Seventh Seal are what, or is what? Well, the Coming of the Lord: the Coming of the Lord to the Church, and the Coming of Moses and Elijah to the Hebrew people.

So, we can see: the Seventh Seal for the Church, which will be revealed to the Church, opened to the Church, and then She will understand what the Seventh Seal is, the content of the Seventh Seal; and for the Hebrew people, the Trumpet sounds, the same Trumpet of which First Corinthians, chapter 15, verses 50 to 58, says: “Behold, I show you a mystery: We shall not all sleep (meaning, we shall not all die); but we shall all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the Last Trump; for the Trumpet shall sound, and the dead in Christ shall rise incorruptible (meaning, they will resurrect first), and then we who are alive will be (what?) changed.”

That Last Trumpet or Final Trumpet, meaning, the Voice of God, of Christ speaking for the last time; and that will be the fulfillment of the Feast of the Trumpets. That is the Feast of the Trumpets, where all the things which will come to pass are going to be announced.

Therefore, when the Jews and Christianity see, some people will say: “I’m seeing such-and-such a thing”; someone else will say: “I’m seeing this other thing.” But, to summarize: some will be seeing the Seventh Trumpet, and others the Seventh Seal. “For the Son of Man comes with His Angels and then He shall reward every man according to his works.”[9]

Moses and Elijah also appeared on Mount Transfiguration, in the vision of the Coming of the Son of Man with His Angels.[10] In that vision, they saw a preview of what the Coming of the Son of Man with His Angels will be.

Therefore, the prophecy of the Two Olive Trees will be fulfilled as it is prophesied: under the Seventh Trumpet for the Jews: Moses and Elijah; and under the Seventh Seal for the Church of the Lord: the Coming of the Lord.

Now, when there is the manifestation of a ministry that was already manifested in another time and in a man of another time, when that ministry repeats again, it’s in another person, another man of the time when that prophecy is fulfilled.

That’s why Reverend William Branham said: “I believe it will be a man of this time,”[11] when they asked him about Elijah in his fifth manifestation.

And since he already came in his fourth manifestation for the seventh age, then he must come for another stage of the Church in his fifth manifestation, and to the Hebrew people. That is for the stage or Age of the Cornerstone, which will be a blessing to Christianity and a blessing to the Hebrew people. The Seventh Seal will be there for the Church, for Christianity, and the Seventh Trumpet for the Jews. The ministry of Jesus will be there for the Church, and the ministry of Moses and Elijah for the Hebrew people.

First, the ministry of Elijah is seen; then, later on, the ministry of Moses is seen; and then the ministry of the Lord is seen.

Elijah, Moses, and Jesus or Yeshua; it’s the ministries of Elijah, Moses, and Yeshua or Jesus repeating at the Last Day, operated by the same One who operated them in the time when they were on Earth: operated by the Holy Spirit, the Angel of the Covenant, at the Last Day, who is the only One that has ministries.

But whoever He operates them in: won’t literally be Elijah, nor literally be Moses, nor literally be Jesus; just the ministry of Elijah, of Moses, and of Jesus or Yeshua, operated by the Holy Spirit. And thus, God will fulfill everything He has promised for His Church and for the Hebrew people at this end time, at the Last Day.

“THE PROPHECY OF THE TWO OLIVE TREES.”

Tomorrow, Sunday, we will continue with the relevant subject, which is…? “THE ESTABLISHMENT…” (of the Kingdom?) “THE ESTABLISHMENT…” [Brother: “Of Theocracy.”] That is the Kingdom (hehe). “THE ESTABLISHMENT OF THEOCRACY.”

That will be the Kingdom of God: theocracy fused with monarchy, as it is established. Or in plain words, monarchy will rise to a level… to the highest level it can reach.

It has been a great blessing and privilege for me to be with you on this occasion, testifying to you about what “THE PROPHECY OF THE TWO OLIVE TREES” is.

Continue having a happy afternoon, filled with the blessings of Christ our Savior.

And onward working in the Divine Program, aware of the time in which we are living and the ministries that are promised for this end time, to be in the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ and also in the Hebrew people.

God bless you and keep you, and I’ll leave Reverend José Benjamín Pérez with you again.

And I don’t know if Missionary Miguel Bermúdez Marín will have a few words for all those who are tuning in to this monthly meeting, which is held once a month with all the countries, and all the ministers and their congregations.

God bless and God keep all the ministers and their congregations, and may He use you all greatly in His Work at this end time.

Well, continue having a happy afternoon.
