Good evening, beloved friends and brethren present. It is a great privilege to be with you this evening, to share some moments around the Divine Word, the Word of God, around the subject: “THE MYSTERY OF THE PARABLES.”
For this reason, I want to read in Saint Matthew chapter 13, verse 9 and on. After Jesus spoke the parable of the sower, He said:
“Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.
And the disciples came, and said unto him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables?
He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given.
For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that he hath.
Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand.
And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive:
For this people’s heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.
But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear.
For verily I say unto you, That many prophets and righteous men have desired to see those things which ye see, and have not seen them; and to hear those things which ye hear, and have not heard them.”
May God bless our hearts with His Word and allow us to understand the parables, so that we may be blessed and receive God’s blessing, to understand It in our hearts.
Our subject on this occasion is: “THE MYSTERY OF THE PARABLES.”
Mysteries of the Kingdom of God are hidden in parables. And Jesus Christ Himself tells us in the parable of the leaven, in [Matthew] chapter 13, verses 33 to 35, the Scripture says:
“Another parable spake he unto them; The kingdom of heaven is like unto leaven, which a woman took, and hid in three measures of meal, till the whole was leavened.
All these things spake Jesus unto the multitude in parables; and without a parable spake he not unto them:
That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying, I will open my mouth in parables; I will utter things which have been kept secret from the foundation of the world.”
We find that in parables there are things which have been kept secret before the foundation of the world.
All Divine Revelation will be hidden in the words expressed through parables; and when the Divine Revelation of a mystery of the Kingdom of God or Kingdom of Heaven comes along, we will always find that—in the form of parables—God spoke about that in the Old Testament, and we also find that He has also spoken about it in the New Testament, but everything was sealed in those parables.
Parables are comparisons, they are proverbs and sayings, which mean certain things that God is speaking to the people, but He hides them in these parables.
Parables, as we can see throughout the Scripture, are expressed using things that are common and ordinary among human beings; and through those simple things, God shows great things, because great things are shown in simple ways: that is God working in simplicity.
Now notice, for example, the new birth. God through Jesus, speaking to Nicodemus, spoke to him in a symbolic or parabolic way… because parables are symbols or symbolic things, and when these things that we are already familiar with are referenced and mentioned, they don’t mean exactly those things that we are familiar with, instead, they are comparisons, and therefore, they symbolize other things in the Divine Program.
For example, when God spoke to Nicodemus about being born again, notice, that is being compared to the birth of a child. But now Christ is speaking to him about something greater, about a new birth, just as the natural birth of Nicodemus had been through his mother.1
Now, notice that when Nicodemus asked that if he must enter into his mother’s womb, then… How could it be possible for an old man to enter into his mother’s womb and be born again? Jesus then said to him the meaning of the things He had told him referencing the human birth; and because He spoke to him about a new birth, well, Nicodemus instantly thought he had to be born again from his mother’s womb. But it meant being born of Water and of the Spirit, which is typified in the human being’s birth here on Earth through his father and mother.
That is why, notice, the natural birth contains the things that the new birth contains: water, blood, and life; and that is how a child comes. And that is also how a person comes into the Kingdom of God: the Word, the Blood of Christ, and the Holy Spirit, and then the person is born into the Kingdom of God.
Now, notice how we find that the mysteries of the Kingdom of God or Kingdom of Heaven are hidden in the parables of the Old Testament and the New Testament; those mysteries are sealed there. And when the time comes for a mystery of the Kingdom of God to be opened, we find that that parable or those parables, where those mysteries were sealed, are opened and made known to the people.
In Hosea chapter 12, verse 9, God says (verse 9 to 10):
“And I that am the Lord thy God from the land of Egypt will yet make thee to dwell in tabernacles, as in the days of the solemn feast.
I have also spoken by the prophets, and I have multiplied visions, and used similitudes, by the ministry of the prophets.”
Who is the One that has used these similitudes or parables? It’s God; God is the One who has used these parables through His prophets, and through Jesus, and through the apostles, and through the seven angel-messengers.
And now, notice how they have all spoken many things that will happen, they have spoken them in parables; and those prophecies have been sealed there in those parables.
For example, when we are told about the gathering of the elect at the Last Day, notice, we are told about the Great Sound of a Trumpet, we are told about the Angels; and all those things have a meaning: the Great Sound of a Trumpet is the Message of the Gospel of the Kingdom, the Angels are the ministries of Moses and Elijah at the Last Day, being manifested in the Angel of the Lord Jesus Christ. And who is the Angel of the Lord Jesus Christ? The Prophet of the Dispensation of the Kingdom and of the Age of the Cornerstone.
See how those parables contain those mysteries, how those parables, comparisons, proverbs, or sayings, contain the things that will happen?
For example, we have another one in Ecclesiastes. Let’s look at this one for a moment, since it has been… in chapter 11, verse 1 and on, it says:
“Cast thy bread upon the waters: for thou shalt find it after many days.”
Now, you are not going to take the bread that you bring home, or that you can buy in a store, or go to the store and buy a lot of bread, and say: “Since God says here, ‘Cast thy bread upon the waters,’ I’m going to take a sack of bread, a bag of bread, to cast it upon the waters, and that way I will be obeying what God says here.” But the Scripture also says: “Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every Word that proceeds out of the mouth of God.”
It’s not literal bread that you have to cast upon the waters, but the Word of God; but now you know that the Bread is the Word. And now are you going to go to a river or to the sea and cast It there? No, now you have to search for the meaning of the waters: the waters represent peoples, nations, and tongues; therefore, they represent people.
Cast the Word of God upon the people, by preaching, by taking the Message, taking the Word of God pertaining to the time in which you live, in videos, booklets, magnetic tapes, and through the radio and press, and every way the Word can be taken; and this way, you will be casting the Bread upon the waters.
See? That is how it was in each age in the past, both in the Old Testament and in the New Testament. And this is also in Deuteronomy chapter 8, verses 3 to 4, and in Saint Matthew chapter 4, verse 4, where it says:
“Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God,” (because that is the Food for the soul of every human being).
And now, notice what it goes on to say here:
“…For thou shalt find it after many days.”
Now, after you cast the Bread upon the waters, will you find It afterwards? Well, of course. Where? In the ones who ate It: You will find them in Eternal Life, you will find them after many days. Some you will find in the Millennial Kingdom, some you will even find here on Earth gathering where you gather, and others you will find after the Millennial Kingdom.
Because they have received the Word; and although they were not firstborn, despite that, they received It (the Word), and then they also worked in the Work of God, they believed that Word; and although they were not firstborn, their names were written in the Book of Life; and then, on Judgment Day, they got Eternal Life, they did well on Judgment Day and they came into Eternal Life.
And now, notice, it goes on to say:
“Give a portion to seven…”
And now, anyone may say: “I only have to have to take the Word to seven people; because I already know that the Bread is the Word and the waters are the people; and now it says to give a portion to seven. Today I will go and give a portion to seven people and I won’t do anything else.”
“…And also to eight…”
“Well, it says eight, so I will search for one more person and I will give him a portion too.” But that is not what that means.
“Give a portion to seven…”
The Church of the Lord Jesus Christ has been going through different ages or stages, and Rev. William Marrion Branham, in this diagram which he made and used in the message “The Stature Of A Perfect Man” and An Exposition Of The Seven [Gentile] Church Ages, (and he also mentioned this diagram in other messages), we find that he drew the seven ages or stages of the Gentile Church in this form of a pyramid, and then he drew an eighth stage or age.2
And now, notice how from age to age, the Word has come to the messenger of each age, and the messenger of each age has given a portion to individuals of his age, to the people of his age; and those who have believed have worked hand-in-hand with that messenger, and the ministers of that age have also worked hand-in-hand with that messenger, giving mankind a portion of spiritual Bread, the Word of God.
“Give a portion to seven,” (to the first, second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, and seventh ages; to the people who will be living at that time, give a portion to the whole world), “and also to eight.”
A portion was given in Asia Minor. A portion was given on five occasions in Europe (in the five ages). And a portion of Bread, spiritual Food, the Word of God, was given in North America: the seventh angel-messenger gave a portion of It; and the ministers who were hand-in-hand with him, and the people who were hand-in-hand with him, worked in that giving of the spiritual Food, of the Word of God pertaining to the seventh stage or age of the Gentile Church, under the Dispensation of Grace.
And now, give a portion “also to eight”: to the Age of the Cornerstone or in the Age of the Cornerstone. That is for the Angel-Messenger of the Lord Jesus Christ, to receive that spiritual Food and give a portion of It to God’s elect of the Last Day, with God’s ministers of the Last Day; and with all the believers of the Last Day, to take that Word, that Message, to every place, until the last of the elect is gathered.
And may that Word also reach all those who will be living on this Earth, starting from the territory where this portion is given.
Now, notice that the portion given of the spiritual Food of each stage, which came through the messenger of each age, was given in the territory pertaining to each age.
And now, the portion given in the first age was in Asia Minor; in the second, third, fourth, fifth, and sixth ages, it was in Europe; in the seventh age, it was in North America.
And now, give a portion to eight, where? Well, in Latin America and the Caribbean. And that is why we are here receiving the Word, the Bread of Eternal Life, receiving It here in the depths of our soul; because “man shall not live by literal bread alone, but by every Word that proceeds out of the mouth of God,” by every Word that proceeds out of the prophet-messenger of God for the time in which God sends him; because God’s mouth is the prophet-messengers that God sends.
That is why in Deuteronomy chapter 18, verses 15 to 19, it says: “The Lord thy God will raise up unto thee a prophet like me; unto him ye shall hearken…” Who says this? Well, God told Moses, and Moses told the Hebrew people.
And why must everyone hear that prophet? Because he is the one who brings the Word of Eternal Life, the spiritual Bread for the soul of human beings. You cannot receive the spiritual Bread any other way, it’s through the messenger that God sends for the time in which you are given to live.
If you were living in the time of Noah, who had the spiritual Food for the people of that time, to feed the human being’s soul? Well, the Prophet Noah. Notice, all those who didn’t receive Noah and his Message perished when the flood came; those who received him went into the ark and were saved.
Now, notice how for each time, God has a faithful and wise servant, who is feeding God’s children (where?) in the Household of God.
And now, the Household of God, notice, is the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ represented in this pyramid-shaped diagram.
And now, from age to age, we have had a faithful and wise servant with the spiritual Food, with the Word of God pertaining to each age, feeding God’s children (where?) in the Household of God, in the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ; and in each age the portion of the spiritual Food was given.
And now, at the Last Day, in order to give a portion to eight, where will that Food be given? In the Age of the Cornerstone, the age represented in the number eight. And where does that age fall (in which territory)? Well, in Latin America and the Caribbean.
And that is why we are receiving that spiritual Food at this Last Day; it says [Deuteronomy 18:15]:
“The Lord thy God will raise up unto thee a Prophet from the midst of thee, of thy brethren, like unto me; unto him ye shall hearken;
According to all that thou desiredst of the Lord thy God in Horeb in the day of the assembly, saying, Let me not hear again the voice of the Lord my God, neither let me see this great fire any more, that I die not.
And the Lord said unto me, They have well spoken that which they have spoken.
I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put my words in his mouth…”
Where does God put His Words? In the mouth of the prophet that He sends. And Christ said: “My Words are Spirit and they are Life.”3
And now, notice why it is so important to receive the Word of God, the Message of God pertaining to the time in which the person has been given to live: because that is the spiritual Food for the person’s soul.
And how does It come? Through the messenger that God sends for that time, for that age, and for that dispensation. You cannot find It anywhere else. You cannot go to a store and get It, or to a religion, you must go to the messenger that God sends for that time, because that is where God puts His Word.
“…And will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him.”
Therefore, everything God wants the person to know at the time in which he lives, for that to be the spiritual Food for that person’s soul, notice, where will he find it? In the mouth of the prophet-messenger that God sends for that time; he will not find it anywhere else. Why? Because Amos chapter 3, verse 7, says:
“Surely the Lord God will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.”
The Prophet Amos also says in chapter 8, verse 11 and on, that God will send a famine upon the Earth; not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the Word of God.
Now, notice how it is a spiritual famine and a spiritual thirst in the soul of every human being: a famine of hearing and thirst of hearing (what?) the Word of the Lord, the Word that comes out of the mouth of God, the Word that comes out of the prophet-messenger of God for the time in which the person is living.
There was famine in each age, but there was Food from God for God’s sons and daughters in each age. Because when a family is hungry, well, there are groceries that the man of the house, the husband, has brought to feed his family; otherwise, he would be an irresponsible man, if he doesn’t have food for his family.
Now, notice how God has the spiritual Food for all of us, and He always sends us a faithful and wise servant from age to age. If a portion must be given to seven, to these seven ages of the Gentile Church, well, He sends a messenger for each age; and He gives that messenger the spiritual Food, He puts It in his mouth, he speaks It, and God’s sons and daughters are fed. Where? In the Household of God, because this is the House of God’s Bread, of the spiritual Food, of God’s Word for each stage or for each age.
And now, notice why God has sent messengers, prophets, from age to age and from dispensation to dispensation: because they are the mouth of God. God puts His Word, His Message, in their mouth and in their heart. And that is why we have the Bible: thanks to the fact that God has sent prophets from age to age and from dispensation to dispensation, and they are the mouth of God for the age or dispensation in which God has sent them.
And God says: “Touch not My anointed, My prophets.”4 And He also says: “The people perish where there is no prophet.”5 In other words, if there is no prophet, there is no vision; and where there is no vision or prophecy, the people go astray, they perish, and die.
Now notice, if there is no vision or prophecy, that is because there is no prophet, and if there is no prophet, then there is no spiritual Food for that time, and the time and the people perish. Everyone tries to establish their own interpretation of God’s Word, of the Scripture, when they are not the prophet that God has appointed for that time; and instead of feeding people well, what do they do? They divide them, and then they are poorly fed.
Now, Christ said: “My sheep hear My Voice, and they follow Me, and I give them Life, Eternal Life.”6
Now, notice how, when He said: “And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold,” (meaning of the Hebrew fold), “them also I must bring, and they shall hear My Voice, and there shall be one Fold, and one Shepherd.”7
Here we have Christ, through each angel-messenger, as the Good Shepherd manifested in each age, calling and gathering His sheep in each age.
The Voice of Christ… Christ in Holy Spirit was manifested in each angel-messenger, and He was speaking through each angel-messenger, and He was calling and gathering His sheep during these seven ages; and then here, in the Age of the Cornerstone too, where He gathers His last sheep.
Now, notice how the Voice of Christ would be heard by the sheep of Jesus Christ, which are the people whose names are written (where?) in the Lamb’s Book of Life. That is another parable, the parable of the Good Shepherd and His sheep;8 His sheep are human beings, God’s elect, God’s firstborn, and the Good Shepherd is our beloved Lord Jesus Christ. And notice how they would hear the Voice of Christ from age to age, and how the portion of spiritual Food would be given to the Lord’s sheep.
In Psalm 23, it tells us that God is the Good Shepherd:
“The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
He restoreth my soul…”
And so forth, He continues to speak to us about God, Jehovah, as the Good Shepherd. And then Jesus Christ, notice, when He uses the parable, He says: “I am the Good Shepherd.”
It’s not that there are two good shepherds: the Lord and Jesus. It is that the Lord of the Old Testament is the Jesus of the New Testament; and in the New Testament, He is still the Good Shepherd, in human flesh. And after He died, rose, and ascended to Heaven, He is still the Good Shepherd, the Shepherd of all shepherds, the Chief Shepherd.
And through each angel-messenger, He manifests Himself as the Good Shepherd, to call, gather, and thus, take His sheep into His mystical Body of believers, which is His Fold; and there, He feeds them with the fresh pasture of the Word of God pertaining to each age, which is the spiritual Food of the soul and for the soul of every son and daughter of God.
Without that spiritual Food, the sheep of each age would die; but Christ has given that spiritual Food through the messenger of each age in these seven ages that have passed, and thus, a portion has been given to seven. But now, it says:
“…And also to eight…”
Therefore, a portion of the spiritual Food is given in the Age of the Cornerstone, which is the age represented in the number eight; and just as the spiritual Food was found in the mouth of each messenger of each age, at the Last Day, the spiritual Food for the soul of God’s elect will be found in the mouth of the Angel of the Lord Jesus Christ, who is the Prophet of the Dispensation of the Kingdom.
And that spiritual Food is the Message represented in the Great Voice of Trumpet or Last Trumpet, which is the Message of the Gospel of the Kingdom, which revolves around the Second Coming of Christ as the Lion of the tribe of Judah, as King of kings and Lord of lords, in His Claiming Work.
Now, notice how the Second Coming of Christ has also been represented in different parables, thus making different comparisons of the Second Coming of Christ.
We also find that the coming of the messengers of each age was shown in parables or comparisons; they are compared to seven stars, and up here, this relates to the eighth star, which is the Bright and Morning Star, because it is the Star that appears on a new Day, meaning, when the dawn of a new dispensational Day and a new millennial Day is breaking.
And we find the seven stars or seven angel-messengers in the stage pertaining to the night; and that is why the Church of Jesus Christ is compared to or with the moon. And since the moon reflects the light of the sun, likewise, the Church of Jesus Christ, during the seven stages, was reflecting the Light of Christ (spiritual Light).
And from age to age, God put a messenger in His Church; and Christ was reflected through that messenger. Christ, the Sun of Righteousness, was reflected through each of those stars, those messengers.
And now, for the Last Day, we have the promise of the coming of the Bright and Morning Star, which does not belong to any of the seven stages or ages of the Gentile Church, to shine (where?) in the Age of the Cornerstone, in the eighth age; and on a new dispensational Day: the Day of the Dispensation of the Kingdom, which is the seventh dispensational Day; because there are seven dispensations, and the Dispensation of the Kingdom is the seventh, and It pertains to the seventh millennium.
If we add to the calendar the years it is behind, we are already in the seventh millennium; therefore, the Dispensation of the Kingdom must be overlapping with the Dispensation of Grace; in other words, the seventh dispensation must be overlapping with the sixth dispensation.
And now, notice where we stand in the Divine Program; and only in the mouth of the Angel-Messenger of Jesus Christ will we be able to find the Word of God pertaining to the Last Day, in other words, the Message of the Gospel of the Kingdom that revolves around the Second Coming of Christ.
Only in the Message of the Gospel of the Kingdom can we find the revelation of the mystery of the Second Coming of Christ being opened, being made known to the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, in the Age of the Cornerstone. In no other age and through no other angel-messenger: only through the Angel-Messenger of the Lord Jesus Christ.
And that Message of the Gospel of the Kingdom, in which and by which the mystery of the Second Coming of Christ as the Lion of the tribe of Judah, as King of kings and Lord of lords in His Claiming Work, is revealed—that Message is the spiritual Food for the soul of each of you and also for my soul.
Notice how God has represented the spiritual Food for our soul in the bread for number eight, meaning, for the Age of the Cornerstone, the spiritual Food for us. Just as He represented the spiritual Food in the portion of bread that would be given to seven: that was how the spiritual Food for the seven Gentile Church ages was represented.
And now, notice how these mysteries of the Kingdom of God were hidden in these parables or comparisons or proverbs; but notice how these mysteries are being opened, and all these mysteries are being made known as they are also being fulfilled.
And now, notice what it goes on to say here. It says, when it tells us that the prophet will speak all that God commands him, it says:
“And it shall come to pass, that whosoever will not hearken unto my words which he shall speak in my name, I will require it of him.”
In Acts chapter 3, verses 18 to 23, it says, quoting that Scripture, it says: “I will destroy him from among the people,” (whoever does not hear what he shall speak in My Name). “Whoever does not hear what he shall speak in My Name, I will destroy him from among the people.” He loses every right to God’s blessings, he loses every right to Eternal life, he loses every right to be part of the people of God.
And now, notice how… now also in the Scripture of Ecclesiastes, which we had been quoting at the beginning, where it tells us:
“Give a portion to seven, and also to eight…”
Notice, we have already seen what that means for the seven stages or ages of the Gentile Church and for the Age of the Cornerstone, at this time in which we are living. It says:
“…For thou knowest not what evil shall be upon the earth.”
You don’t know what evil from the Great Tribulation will come upon the human race, just as it came upon the human race in the time of Noah, when the flood came and destroyed the antediluvian world; for they didn’t believe Noah and his Message, and the flood came and took them all away; they couldn’t understand.
Christ, quoting the times of Noah, says that as it was in the days of Noah: where they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, and they knew not.9 What didn’t they know? They didn’t know God’s Program, they didn’t know God’s Word pertaining to that time, and therefore, they didn’t receive the spiritual Food for the soul. And since they didn’t have the spiritual Food for the soul, they were spiritually dead; and what follows spiritual death is physical death. Therefore, the flood came and took them all away, except for Noah and his family, who had spiritual Food for the soul; therefore, they had spiritual Life and they had the right to continue living. And then God began the new generation with them.
And now, it says:
“…So shall also the coming of the Son of man be.”
In other words, at the Last Day, in which we are living, these would be days parallel to the days of Noah. There was a dispensational prophet back then: at this time there must be a dispensational prophet; and only one is promised for the Last Day, which is the Prophet-Messenger of the Dispensation of the Kingdom, with the Message of the Gospel of the Kingdom; and that is the Angel of the Lord Jesus Christ.
That is the Messenger who comes revealing God’s mysteries at the Last Day, making known to mankind the Divine Judgments that will come upon the Earth, as Noah did in his time, when Noah was making known to them the Divine Judgments that would come upon the human race.
And now, this prophet like Noah will be making known the judgments of Revelation, the judgments of the Great Tribulation that will come upon the human race; and thus, he will be fulfilling what it says in Revelation chapter 10, verses 8 to 11, where he has to prophesy before many peoples, nations, and tongues, which was typified in John the Apostle.
And now, notice how at this end time, in which we are living, it is necessary that a portion be given to eight, that a portion to be given to a new age: the Age of the Cornerstone in the Dispensation of the Kingdom, in order to escape the Divine Judgments that will come upon the Earth.
“…For thou knowest not what evil shall be upon the earth.”
But now, since it has been made known, we know that the Great Tribulation will come upon the human race, just as the flood came upon the human race; now a flood of fire will come, as it is promised in the Scripture. Where is that written? In Malachi chapter 4, verse 1, it says:
“For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the Lord of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch.”
That is a flood of atomic fire that will come upon the Earth, and there is also volcanic fire, and there is fire from petroleum, gasoline, natural gas, and all these fuels (which are flammable fuels): and all of that will be ready at that time. Even oxygen catches fire too. Without oxygen, well, there is no fire; but notice, atomic fire will come despite what people may have to protect themselves.
Well, some people may say, “I’m going to do what crabs do: make a cave.” That’s called (a what?) an underground shelter or a… people also call it a tunnel or bunker, a place to protect yourself from radioactivity; a basement or a… there is another name for it too; a shelter.
Well, once they drop the atomic bombs and you run out of food, what will you do? Because radioactivity doesn’t go away after the explosion happens, it lingers, and everything is left contaminated. So, what will you do after the explosion or the explosions if your shelter isn’t destroyed?
But don’t worry, there is a refuge for God’s elect, and God says that He is our refuge.10 And if He is our refuge, He knows what He will do with us.
It says in Isaiah chapter 26, verse… let’s see… a bit before this… Let’s read verse 19 and on; it says—or rather, verse 18 and on says… It seems that this whole chapter tells us about the end time, let’s see where we can start here. Let’s start around verse 14 here, it says:
“They are dead, they shall not live; they are deceased, they shall not rise: therefore hast thou visited and destroyed them, and made all their memory to perish.
Thou hast increased the nation, O Lord, thou hast increased the nation: thou art glorified: thou hadst removed it far unto all the ends of the earth.
Lord, in trouble have they visited thee, they poured out a prayer when thy chastening was upon them.”
Because when punishment or judgment comes, that is when people (some people) seek God; but it is much better to seek Him when there is no judgment or punishment upon the human race, because one has more opportunity then. But people don’t understand this, and when they find themselves in trouble, that is when they cry out to God. It goes on to say:
“Like as a woman with child, that draweth near the time of her delivery, is in pain, and crieth out in her pangs; so have we been in thy sight, O Lord.
We have been with child, we have been in pain, we have as it were brought forth wind; we have not wrought any deliverance in the earth; neither have the inhabitants of the world fallen.
Thy dead men shall live, together with my dead body shall they arise. Awake and sing, ye that dwell in dust: for thy dew is as the dew of herbs, and the earth shall cast out the dead,” (this here is referring to what? To the resurrection).
“Come, my people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee: hide thyself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be overpast.
For, behold, the Lord cometh out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity: the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain.”
And in chapter 27, which is next, verse 1 and on, says:
“In that day the Lord with his sore and great and strong sword shall punish leviathan the piercing serpent, even leviathan that crooked serpent; and he shall slay the dragon that is in the sea.
In that day sing ye unto her, A vineyard of red wine.”
And that would take us all the way to Revelation 19.
Notice how the things that are in the New Testament were already here in the Old Testament; but notice that this is all in a parabolic form, it’s in symbols, it’s in comparisons, it’s in proverbs, it’s in different symbolic forms, in other words, in parables.
And now, notice how the day comes that will burn as an oven: it will be a flood, not of water, but of fire. But what will be of God’s elect? It says they will be hidden: “Hide thyself as it were for a little moment,” (meaning, for three and a half years), “until the indignation be overpast,” (meaning, the Great Tribulation).
Also in Malachi chapter 4, verse 2 and on, it says:
“But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise…”
That is the Second Coming of Christ, because He said: “I am the Light of the world.”11 He is the Sun of Righteousness. And He comes as the Sun of Righteousness at the Last Day, because He is the King of kings and Lord of lords; and the sun is the king of the stars, and it represents Christ in His Second Coming. That is why on Mount Transfiguration, His face shone how? As the sun.12
And also in Revelation chapter 1, verse 14 and on; and also in Revelation chapter 10, verse 1 and on; there, we find the Mighty Angel coming down from Heaven clothed with a cloud and with His face as the Sun, because He comes as King of kings and Lord of lords.
But all of this is in these symbols, in these parables; because parables are symbols that are used to show these mysteries of the Kingdom of God; but until these mysteries, these parables, are opened, they cannot be understood.
But God’s elect have the promise: “Unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the Kingdom of God or Kingdom of Heaven, but to the rest it is not given;”13 because these mysteries are to be made known to God’s elect in the different stages that the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ goes through.
Now, the things that are for God’s elect at the Last Day, well, these mysteries were not revealed to the elect of past ages, they only had the parables, the prophecies, the comparisons that speak of the things that God will be carrying out at this Last Day. But we, at this end time, are given to know the meaning of these mysteries that are in these parables pertaining to the Last Day.
And now, notice how we have different prophecies in different parables for this Last Day. We find the Second Coming of Christ in different forms, in different comparisons, in different parables.
Look, He comes as the Sun of Righteousness, He comes as the sun, with His face as the sun; and in another passage, it shows us that He comes clothed with a cloud; and in another passage, it shows us that He comes on a white horse;14 and so on. And in another passage, it shows us that He comes and that He is the Lion of the tribe of Judah;15 because the lion is the king of the animals, and Christ is the King of kings and Lord of lords.
Now, notice how these prophecies of the Second Coming of Christ, put in these parables and in different comparisons and proverbs, are to be fulfilled at the Last Day and to be made known to all of God’s elect.
Let’s see… we saw what the Coming of the Lord with His face as the sun is: It is the Coming of Christ as King of kings and Lord of lords. But let’s look more closely at something that is very important. The Coming of Christ as… the Coming of Christ on a white horse.
In the Book The Revelation Of The Seven Seals, the forerunner of the Second Coming of Christ, says on page 318 [paragraph 391] while he is praying… in part of the prayer, he says:
“…May the Holy Spirit come down now, the white-horse Rider,” (meaning, that white-horse of Revelation 19), “while His Spirit, Spirit of Christ, in the face of antichrist, and call His Own.”
Who is the One that calls His elect? The Holy Spirit, which is the white-horse Rider of Revelation 19. He has been calling and gathering His elect from age to age. But now, at the Last Day, we find in Revelation 19, the Coming of Christ, on a snow-white horse. And do you know what the forerunner of the Second Coming of Christ tells us?
Notice that He comes with a Name that no man knows, and His Name is called The Word of God.
But “The Word” is not a name; therefore… It is the Coming of the Word of God. And notice, when the Word of God came two thousand years ago, it tells us in Saint John chapter 1, verse 14:
“And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and (virtue).”
And now, when the Word came in human flesh, what was His Name? Jesus. That is the First Coming of Christ, the First Coming of the Word in human flesh in all His fullness, the Coming of the Angel of the Covenant, the Angel of the Lord, the Jehovah of the Old Testament.
“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.”
And when He was made flesh, He was still God. That is why Jesus could say: “The Father and I are one. We are one and the same. We are one.” [John 10:30]
And when Philip says, “Lord, show us the Father, and it sufficeth us.” Jesus says, “Have I been so long with you, Philip, and yet you have not known me? Don’t you know that the Father is in Me and I am in the Father (or vice-versa)? And he that has seen me, has seen the Father.16 Because the Father was in that body of flesh.
He was the Jehovah of the Old Testament, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the Angel of the Covenant, the One who came in human flesh. That is what the Prophet Malachi says in chapter 3, verse 1 and on, where it says:
“Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me,” (and who was that messenger? John the Baptist), “and the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple,” (and after John the Baptist, who would come? The Lord, whom the Hebrew people sought. They sought him in the temple, they sought him in their prayers, they sought him through their sacrifices, in every way), “even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in.”
Who would come? The Lord, the Angel of the Covenant, the Angel of the Lord, He is the One who would come. And when the Word came (the Angel of the Covenant, the Lord, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob): He came in human flesh in that body called Jesus. And in that young carpenter from Nazareth, the First Coming of Christ was fulfilled, as the Lamb of God, carrying out the Work of Redemption on Calvary’s Cross.
And at the Last Day, the Angel of the Covenant, the Angel of the Lord, will come; the same One who was in human flesh in the Person of Jesus will come again and have a Name that no man understands. And it says [Revelation 19:16]:
“And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, King Of kings, And Lord Of lords.”
Now, notice how on His Vesture two thousand years ago… because God was clothed in human flesh, and on His vesture, He had the Name of Redemption: Jesus, to carry out His Work of Redemption on Calvary’s Cross. But the Scripture tells us in chapter 3, verse 12, of Revelation.
“Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name.”
Notice, there are people who have read the Bible and don’t know that Jesus says He has a new Name; and that is the new Name that He will be using in His Second Coming. And people who have read the Bible hadn’t even thought of that: the fact that He had a new Name, and that It would be the Name that He would put upon the Overcomer, and that would be the Name for His Second Coming as the Lion of the tribe of Judah, as King of kings and Lord of lords in His Claiming Work.
And now, if the Second Coming of Christ was a mystery to many people, now, seeing that Jesus has a new Name, it is a greater mystery, because people wonder: “And now, what could be the Lord’s new Name?” Well, He said that He would write It upon the Overcomer. If you find the Overcomer, you will find the place where He will have written His new Name.
And which is the Lord’s new Name? Well, the Eternal Name of God; and that is the Name of the City of our God. Or, could there be a better name for the city of God? No, there isn’t, that is the best Name; and that is why that same Name is the new Name of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Well, we have seen all these mysteries.
Now, we have seen that the white-horse Rider is the Holy Spirit, Jesus Christ in Holy Spirit.
And now, at the Last Day, we have the promise that the Holy Spirit will come to the Age of the Cornerstone, to give a portion of the spiritual Food through His Angel-Messenger, to which number? To eight; because then the evil will be upon the Earth, the evil of the Great Tribulation, the Divine Judgment.
And now, how will Jesus Christ in Holy Spirit come at the Last Day? In each age, He came manifested in Holy Spirit in the Angel-Messenger of each age; therefore, it cannot come any other way in the Age of the Cornerstone. It must come through the Messenger of the Age of the Cornerstone, which is the Angel of the Lord Jesus Christ, which is the Messenger of the Dispensation of the Kingdom, a dispensational prophet.
Therefore, it will be the first time that Jesus Christ comes to His Church manifested in human flesh in a dispensational prophet; because He came manifested in human flesh in each angel-messenger, in the portion pertaining to each age, in the manifestation pertaining to each age. But at the Last Day, He will come in the Age of the Cornerstone, giving a portion of the spiritual Food for the soul to those who will be in that age.
And now, notice what the forerunner of the Second Coming of Christ tells us, referring to Revelation 19, referring to the white horse of Revelation 19, and the Rider who comes on that white horse. He says:17
“But when our Lord appears here on earth, He’ll be riding on a snow-white horse. And He’ll be completely, fully, the Emmanuel, the Word of God incarnate in a Man.”
How will He come? Here, Christ in Holy Spirit comes in a Man, in His Angel-Messenger, in the Prophet-Messenger of the Dispensation of the Kingdom and of the Age of the Cornerstone, which will be giving a portion to eight; because Jesus Christ in Holy Spirit will be in him. And along with the Angel-Messenger will be the ministers of the Last Day, of the Age of the Cornerstone, also giving a portion to eight. And the believers of the Age of the Cornerstone will also be giving a portion to eight; that is, to the Age of the Cornerstone. And notice how that age pertains to Latin America and to the Caribbean.
Now, we have seen these mysteries contained in the parables of the Old Testament and of the New Testament. We have only spoken about some of the mysteries contained there.
But notice how, from what we have spoken, we have seen a clear picture of what God had promised for this Last Day. And when we have seen the meaning contained in those parables, we have seen what the Coming of Christ, the Coming of Jesus Christ in Holy Spirit would be at the Last Day, in the Age of the Cornerstone and Dispensation of the Kingdom, through His Angel-Messenger: it would be the Coming of the white-horse Rider of Revelation at the Last Day, the Word incarnate in a Man.
And did you see how simple everything would be? Everything would be simple. And the territory for this great event is Latin America and the Caribbean. And that sure is good news for the Latin American and Caribbean people; just as the news that the First Coming of Christ would be fulfilled in the land of Israel was good news; notice, and it was also good news that the Coming of Christ manifested in each Church age, notice, was in each territory where God sent the Angel-Messenger of each age.
And now, the good news for the Latin American and Caribbean people is the good news of the Coming of the Holy Spirit, of Jesus Christ in Holy Spirit through His Angel-Messenger in the Age of the Cornerstone and Dispensation of the Kingdom, in Latin America and the Caribbean. That is the territory for God’s blessing of the Last Day.
Therefore, the Latin American and Caribbean people are the ones blessed by God at this Last Day; just as the people who were given to live in the territory of each age were blessed in each age.
And now, notice the great blessing that the Latin American and Caribbean people have at this Last Day. And no one will be able to take away from them this blessing that was ordained, predestinated by God, before the foundation of the world, for the Latin American and Caribbean people.
And that is why God puts His elect of the Last Day among Latin America and the Caribbean, He calls them and gathers them with the Message of the Great Voice of Trumpet, with the Message of the Gospel of the Kingdom, which revolves around the Second Coming of Christ as the Lion of the tribe of Judah, as King of kings and Lord of lords, in His Claiming Work; where all these mysteries contained in these parables relevant to the Last Day are being opened, and all the Latin American and Caribbean people are being shown the mysteries contained in the parables of the Last Day, which are found in the Old Testament and in the New Testament.
“THE MYSTERY OF THE PARABLES.”
Did you see THE MYSTERY OF THE PARABLES? We have seen that they contain the mysteries of the Kingdom of Heaven, they contain all the things that God has done in the past, the things He is doing in the present, and the things He will do in the future. All those things are sealed there.
But notice how they are opened in our time; because unto you, elect, in the Age of the Cornerstone and Dispensation of the Kingdom, Latin American and Caribbean people, unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the Kingdom of Heaven pertaining to this Last Day.
It has been a great privilege to be with you on this occasion, testifying to you about the mysteries or “THE MYSTERY OF THE PARABLES.”
May God (the Angel of the Covenant, the Angel of the Lord, Jesus Christ our Savior) bless you greatly. And may those who are yet to be called and gathered be called, and may the number of God’s elect be completed, and may we be changed and raptured at this Last Day; and may we go to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb and enjoy this great Feast of the Marriage of the Lamb there. In the Eternal Name of our beloved Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
Thank you very much for your kind attention, and continue having an evening filled with the blessings of Jesus Christ; because you are the ones who would be receiving the blessings of Christ at this Last Day.
Where are the ones who would be seeing the meaning, the content of those mysteries in those parables? Well, here you are! Here we are, at this Last Day!
May God bless you and keep you, and have a good evening, everyone.
I will leave Rev. Miguel Bermúdez Marín with us to continue and conclude our participation tonight.
Here we have him already. May God bless you, Miguel, and may God bless each one of you too.
I will leave Miguel with us.
