The Mystery of the Watches

Good evening, beloved friends and brethren present. It is a great blessing to be with you on this occasion, to have fellowship around the Divine Program, and to be able to understand this evening: “THE MYSTERY OF THE WATCHES,” which the Bible speaks to us about; and thus, to be able to understand in which of the watches we are living at this time.

Therefore, we will go to the Scripture and we will see what the Bible says about the watches; and thus, we will obtain the knowledge about the watches and the Divine Purpose of the watches for His people.

In Saint Luke, chapter 12, verses 35 to 44, Jesus Christ says:

Let your loins be girded about, and your lights burning;

And ye yourselves like unto men that wait for their lord, when he will return from the wedding; that when he cometh and knocketh, they may open unto him immediately.

Blessed are those servants, whom the lord when he cometh shall find watching: verily I say unto you, that he shall gird himself, and make them to sit down to meat, and will come forth and serve them.

And if he shall come in the second watch, or come in the third watch, and find them so, blessed are those servants.

And this know, that if the goodman of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched, and not have suffered his house to be broken through.

Be ye therefore ready also: for the Son of man cometh at an hour when ye think not.

Then Peter said unto him, Lord, speakest thou this parable unto us, or even to all?

And the Lord said, Who then is that faithful and wise steward, whom his lord shall make ruler over his household, to give them their portion of meat in due season?

Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.

Of a truth I say unto you, that he will make him ruler over all that he hath.

May God bless our souls with His Word and allow us to understand It.

Tonight we will have certain questions that will be answered as we hear this conference. There are three very important questions, and they are the following:

• What is the relationship between the watches and the journey of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ? We will have that question answered during this conference.

The second question is:

• In which of the watches will the Son of man come? That question will also be answered in this conference.

The third is:

• Which is the great event promised to take place in the fourth watch? That question will also be answered in our hearts as we hear the Word of God tonight.

It is very important to know the mystery of the watches, because Jesus Christ spoke of the watches, and He spoke of the Coming of the Son of man taking place in one of the watches; and we have to know in which of the watches the Coming of the Son of man is fulfilled or will be fulfilled.

The mystery of the watches is a mystery that human beings have wanted to understand since ancient times, and know in which of the watches God would carry out the fulfillment of His promises.

The watches are mentioned in the Scripture; and three of the four watches pertain to the night time, and one pertains to the morning time. People always think that watches pertain to the night, but let’s look at these four watches and their timings, and we will discover that one of them takes place in the morning.

The first watch we have in the Scripture, which Christ also spoke about, pertains to a period of time at night.

Something very important that we need to understand is that each watch consists of three hours. It is very important to understand that, so we are able to understand this whole mystery of the watches.

• The first watch is from 9:00 to 12:00 at night.

• The second watch is from 12:00 to 3:00 in the morning.

• The third watch is from 3:00 to 6:00 in the morning.

• And the fourth watch is from 6:00 to 9:00 in the morning.

And there we find the fourth watch, which pertains to the three morning hours of 6:00 to 9:00 in the morning. That is the only watch that is in the daytime. The rest of the watches, as we have seen, start at 9:00 o’clock in the [evening] and end at 6:00 o’clock in the morning.

Now, the fourth watch is the most important of all. Great Biblical events have taken place in the fourth watch: such as, for example, when the Hebrew people went into the Red Sea: when Moses parted the Red Sea with God’s Word that was in him, by stretching out his rod and speaking the Word, the sea was opened, and the Hebrew people passed.

And then, Pharaoh’s army also tried to pass to kill the Hebrews; and when they went into the Red Sea, they entered on dry ground, because Moses had already parted the Red Sea; but when the Hebrew people finished passing, we find that Moses stretched out his hand—with his rod in his hand—and closed the Red Sea; and Pharaoh’s army was inside the Red Sea and was destroyed.1

Now, notice how Pharaoh didn’t want to obey God’s Voice, he was rebellious to God’s Voice and to God’s prophet, and he wasn’t satisfied with the Divine Judgments that God sent him in Egypt, and he came looking for the last one: he came looking for it in the Red Sea, and he found it there.

Notice, he was against Moses and against the Hebrew people the whole time; and the Scripture says: “He who blesses you will be blessed, and he who curses you will be cursed.”2 Therefore, Pharaoh received the curse, because he was always against the Hebrew people and against God’s prophet.

Now, notice how the Hebrew people left the Red Sea victorious, and we find that Pharaoh was defeated; it was the last defeat; and notice, without the Hebrew people having to fight against Pharaoh. God was fighting in favor of the Hebrew people; because it was without earthly might and without earthly power, but by the Spirit of God manifested in the Prophet Moses.

Now, we can see how the Hebrew people obtained victory: they obtained that victory from God.

We find that previously, the Hebrew people, represented in a man: in Jacob, also obtained a great victory upon meeting the Angel of the Lord.

We find the Hebrew people represented in Jacob there (because they were in Jacob’s loins), and all the children of Israel came from Jacob; and we find that all his children, who had already been born, were represented there through Jacob.

We find, notice, Jacob wrestling with the Angel of the Lord. And by morning time, by daybreak, look at what happened: chapter 32 of Genesis tells us… starting on verse 24, it says:

And Jacob was left alone; and there wrestled a man with him until the breaking of the day.

And when he saw that he prevailed not against him, he touched the hollow of his thigh; and the hollow of Jacob’s thigh was out of joint, as he wrestled with him.

And he,” (the Angel), “said, Let me go, for the day breaketh. And he said, I will not let thee go, except thou bless me.

And he said unto him, What is thy name? And he said, Jacob.

And he said, Thy name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel: for as a prince hast thou power with God and with men, and hast prevailed.

Now, notice how Jacob wrestled the Angel of the Lord, in other words, he wrestled Jesus Christ in His theophanic body, who is the same God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, in His theophanic body, called the Angel of the Lord, and also called Jehovah in the Old Testament.

Abraham also called Him Elohim, when He appeared to him the day before the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah;3 and He had also appeared to him before that as Melchizedek, and blessed Abraham, and gave him bread and wine.4

Now, the sun was rising upon Jacob here. The Angel of the Lord, this Man from another dimension, this Man with this theophanic body of the sixth dimension appears to Jacob and Jacob doesn’t let Him go.

Jacob is a prophet. He has both consciouses together, he can see in both dimensions; and he held on to a Person from another dimension, and that Person is the Angel of the Lord, who was in His theophanic body; he held on to Him and wouldn’t let Him go.

“And the Angel blessed him…”

And now, notice everything that happens:

And he said, Thy name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel: for as a prince hast thou power with God and with men, and hast prevailed,” (he obtained the victory).

And Jacob asked him, and said, Tell me, I pray thee, thy name. And he said, Wherefore is it that thou dost ask after my name? And he blessed him there.

And Jacob called the name of the place Peniel: for I have seen God face to face, and my life is preserved.

And as he passed over Penuel the sun rose upon him, and he halted upon his thigh.

But it is better for a person to be limping, but with God’s blessing, than to be healthy but without God’s blessing. And Jacob got this problem with his leg while fighting for God’s blessing.

Some people say, when they have a problem or they had an accident… and those people were on their way to a service in search of God’s blessing, or they were coming back from a service, and they had an accident, a problem; some people say: “If I had not gone, this wouldn’t have happened to me;” but he wouldn’t have received God’s blessing.

It is better to have God’s blessing, no matter the problems one encounters while seeking God’s blessing.

Notice, Christians were persecuted in past times, they were thrown to the lions. Any person could say: “If I weren’t a believer in Christ, they wouldn’t throw me to—in the mouths of lions.” But either way, the person has to die in terms of his physical body; and if he didn’t believe in Christ, what good was it for him to live on Earth and not be thrown to the lions, or killed in some way at that time?

Christ said in Saint Matthew chapter 16, verse 24 and on:

Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.

This shows us that the way of Christ is not easy, in terms of us not having problems in life. Many times, problems even arise in our own home for believing in Christ; but we are bearing the Cross of Christ.

It goes on to say:

For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.

In other words, we shouldn’t complain about the problems we face while seeking God’s blessing.

Any person may say: “My son or my friend who left to go to a service, died on his way back;” well, there is no problem: he went to Paradise. If he was not seeking God’s blessing and serving Christ, and that person died: he would go to hell, in other words, to the fifth dimension (to put it gently). And one could say: “His friend died in peace at home, peacefully;” but without God’s blessing, what good did it do him? There in the fifth dimension he won’t feel very peaceful at all.

So, it is better to be serving Christ every day of our lives, no matter what problems we have in life. “Whoever will lose his life for My sake shall find it.” And which kind will he find? Eternal Life; that is the kind we want. This earthly [life] is temporary.

Now, notice how important it is to serve Christ all the days of our lives.

For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?” (it is useless to him) “or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?

God doesn’t accept anything in exchange for the salvation of the soul other than the Sacrifice of Christ. And if the person has not accepted that Sacrifice (by believing in Christ as his Savior, and washing away his sins in the Blood of Christ, and receiving His Spirit), then the person doesn’t have anything to offer God unless he has received the Sacrifice of Christ in his soul and His Blood applied in his soul. Only one thing is offered for our salvation: that is Jesus Christ on Calvary’s Cross, dying for our salvation; and God does not accept anything else.

It goes on to say:

For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works.

Now, we can see here that it is very important to always seek God’s blessing.

When we read this passage about Jacob, we thought Jacob held on to the Angel of the Lord and didn’t say much, but let’s ask the Prophet Hosea here some of the things that Jacob said. In chapter 12 of Hosea, verse 3 and on, it says:

He took his brother by the heel in the womb, and by his strength he had power with God:

Yea, he had power over the angel, and prevailed: he wept, and made supplication unto him: he found him in Bethel, and there he spake with us;

Even the Lord God of hosts; the Lord is his memorial.

Therefore turn thou to thy God: keep mercy and judgment and wait on thy God continually.

Then, in the same 12th chapter, verse 9 to 10, it says:

And I that am the Lord thy God from the land of Egypt will yet make thee to dwell in tabernacles, as in the days of the solemn feast.

I have also spoken by the prophets, and I have multiplied visions, and used similitudes, by the ministry of the prophets.

God has used similitudes or parables by the ministry of the prophets.

And this matter of the watches are parables that mark prophetic times when the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ would be manifested from stage to stage.

• The watches…: the first three pertain to the time of the Church ages, during the seven ages of the Gentile Church, and the fourth watch pertains to the Age of the Cornerstone.

The first three watches pertain to the Holy Place of the spiritual Temple of Christ; the fourth watch pertains to the Holy of Holies of the spiritual Temple of Christ. The fourth watch pertains to the Age of the Cornerstone.

The first three watches pertain to the fifth millennium and sixth millennium; the fourth watch pertains to the seventh millennium.

Now, the watches used here are prophetic watches, represented in the watches that were kept in those times.

Of all the watches, the most important one is the fourth watch. In the fourth watch, the Angel of the Lord blessed Jacob, and Jacob received a new name.

In the fourth watch, which Christ spoke of, is when God will bless, the Angel of the Lord will bless the heavenly Israel or heavenly Jacob first, and the earthly Jacob which is the Hebrew people. The heavenly Jacob or heavenly Israel is the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ.

And notice, the same Angel of the Lord who was there all night, throughout all those watches, wrestling with Jacob and Jacob wrestling with Him, when morning came, when the day was breaking, once the sun was coming up, in other words, once the fourth watch was starting, we find that Jacob received God’s blessing.

And now, we find that the blessing of God, the blessing of Christ, the Angel of the Covenant, for His Church, is for the fourth watch. It’s not for the seven Gentile Church ages, but for the Age of the Cornerstone, the Age of the Holy of Holies, where there will be the same Angel of the Lord or Angel of the Covenant who was in the seven Gentile Church ages manifested in each of the angel-messengers of the seven Gentile Church ages.

And now, notice how there was a battle from age to age for God’s blessing.

But it’s in the fourth watch, in the manifestation of the Angel of the Covenant in the Age of the Cornerstone and Holy of Holies of His spiritual Temple, that the Angel of the Covenant, Jesus Christ manifested in Holy Spirit, will bless His Church and bring the change that we need.

Notice, the new name that Jacob received has to do with the whole blessing he would receive in the new land, in other words, in the promised land, where he was heading, to possess it, to receive the inheritance of the Birthright that belonged to him.

We find that the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ at this end time, in the Age of the Cornerstone, which is the Age of the Holy of Holies of the spiritual Temple of Christ: will receive Her inheritance; the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ will receive the inheritance that Adam and Eve lost in the fall; because God’s inheritance will be restored to all the children of God, to all the elect of God. And that is why the Angel of the Covenant comes, who is Jesus Christ in Holy Spirit, at the Last Day, manifested in the fourth watch.

And in the fourth watch is when we will all be receiving the blessing of the Angel of the Covenant, of the Angel of the Lord, of Jesus Christ in His last manifestation, where all God’s sons and daughters will be seeing what Jacob saw.

Jacob said: “I have seen God face to face.” And all of God’s elect at the Last Day will be seeing Jesus Christ manifested in Holy Spirit through human flesh, and they will be seeing Jesus Christ with His face as the sun, Jesus Christ as King of kings and Lord of lords.

They will no longer be seeing through a glass, in darkness, but face to face,5 because they will be seeing Jesus Christ coming in Holy Spirit in the veil of flesh He will have in the fourth watch. And they will be seeing Jesus Christ face to face by seeing Jesus Christ manifested in His veil of flesh of the fourth watch. That will be seeing God, Jesus Christ, face to face at the Last Day.

By Jacob seeing the Angel of the Covenant face to face, he received God’s blessing.

And now, notice, Jacob wanted to know the Name of the Angel, because where is the Name of God? In the Angel. And that is why Jacob asked the Angel: “What is Your Name?” The Angel tells him: “Why do you ask for My Name?” In other words, the Angel knew why he was asking for His Name: because if he knew the Angel’s Name then he would know the Name of God. Why?

Exodus chapter 23, verse 20 and on, says:

Behold, I send an Angel before thee, to keep thee in the way, and to bring thee into the place which I have prepared.

Beware of him, and obey his voice, provoke him not; for he will not pardon your transgressions: for my name is in him.

Where is the Eternal Name of God? In the Angel of the Lord.

Notice, Jacob wanted to know the Name, because if he knew the Name of the Angel (the Angel of the Covenant, the Angel of the Lord, who was the same God in His theophanic body, in that body of the sixth dimension), he would know the Eternal Name of God.

Remember when the Angel of the Lord appeared to Samson’s parents? They wanted to know the Angel’s Name, and the Angel tells them: “Why do you ask for My Name, which is secret?”6 He was not allowed to make It known.

When Moses also wanted to know the Name of the Angel, of the Angel of the Lord, the Angel told him: “I Am That I Am. And you shall say to them: I Am has sent me unto you.”7 And five letters were given, five consonants, which are YHWH; those were the letters given to Moses by the Angel of the Lord.

And the Hebrew people have wanted to know the Eternal Name of God, the Name of the Angel of the Covenant; but the Hebrew people, notice, have not been able to understand that Name. But that Name, at the end time, at the Last Day, will be revealed to all of God’s sons and daughters, to all of God’s firstborn, at the Last Day, in the Coming of the Son of man.

Now, with the Coming of Jesus Christ in Holy Spirit at the Last Day, manifested in His Angel-Messenger, in the fourth watch, He will be giving us the blessing we need so that we who are alive are changed and those who have departed in past ages are raised.

This is for the fourth watch; and the fourth watch, in prophetic terms, pertains to the Age of the Cornerstone.

Now, in prophetic terms, Christ spoke about the Coming of the Son of man, and He compared the time of the Coming of the Son of man to one of the watches.

And we find that for the different watches, in His Church Christ would have faithful and wise servants, or stewards, who from watch to watch, from stage to stage, would be feeding God’s sons and daughters with the Bread of the Word of God; “for man shall not live by bread alone, but by every Word that proceeds out of the mouth of God,” God tells us in Deuteronomy chapter 8, verses 3 to 4, and Saint Matthew chapter 4, verse 4. And the Food for the soul is the Word of God, God’s Message pertaining to the time in which the person is living.

Now, Christ asks: “Who is the faithful and wise steward, who will be in the Household of God? Who then is that faithful and wise steward, whom his Lord shall make ruler over His Household?” And which is the Lord’s Household? His Church. That is the Household, the Family of God; It is a heavenly Family.

Just as He said: “I came down from Heaven,”8 do you know something? All of God’s sons and daughters have come down from Heaven, they have come from the seventh dimension, and they are here on Earth in mortal bodies.

And in order to pass through the sixth dimension, we have believed in our beloved Lord Jesus Christ as our Savior and His Sacrifice on Calvary’s Cross, and we have washed away our sins in the Blood of Christ, and we have received His Holy Spirit; and thus, we have received a theophanic body of the sixth dimension, and this way, we have received Eternal Life; this is how we have been born into the Kingdom of God, we have been born again and we have Eternal Life.

And all we need is the physical and eternal body, which He will give us, where? In the fourth watch. The dead in Christ will rise in eternal bodies and we who are alive will be changed.9 That is for this end time.

Now, Christ asked: “Who is that faithful and wise servant, that faithful steward, whom his Lord shall make ruler over His Household?” From age to age, God has put a messenger, in whom a theophanic spirit of the sixth dimension has been manifested in human flesh in that messenger; and—from the sixth dimension—that messenger has brought God’s Message to the people; and that Message is the Food for the people, the portion pertaining to the time in which people are living.

And now, who is the Faithful and Wise Servant (in other words, the Faithful and Wise Steward) who will be in the Household of God (meaning, in the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ) as the Messenger pertaining to the fourth watch, to the Age of the Cornerstone, to the Holy of Holies of the spiritual Temple of Christ, to the Dispensation of the Kingdom, and to the Last Day? Who is that Faithful and Wise Servant?

Because the other faithful and wise servants, which are the seven angel-messengers of the seven ages, already gave the spiritual Food, the portion, to the children of God, in the Household of God, during the watches in which they came.

And now, at the Last Day, who will be the Faithful and Wise Servant, that Faithful and Wise Steward, that Faithful and Wise Administrator, who will be ministering the Word of God, the spiritual Food, to God’s sons and daughters, in the Household of God, meaning, in the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ? It says:

[Luke 12:43] “Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.

Of a truth I say unto you, that he will make him ruler over all that he hath.

And what does that mean? That what Christ said in Revelation chapter 3, verse 21, will be fulfilled in that Faithful and Wise Servant:

To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.

Ruling is done from a throne. And this Faithful and Wise Steward will be made ruler over all his Lord’s goods. And what for? To administer his Lord’s goods.

Now, let’s see what Saint Mark chapter 13 tells us, referring to the Coming of the Son of man. It says (chapter 13, verse 32 and on):

But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father,” (what is He speaking about here? The Coming of the Son of man).

Take ye heed, watch and pray…

Take heed, for what? And watch, for what? And pray, for what? For the Coming of the Son of man, and so that we are prepared to see Him and receive Him at the end time.

…For ye know not when the time is.

For the Son of Man is as a man taking a far journey, who left his house, and gave authority to his servants, and to every man his work, and commanded the porter to watch.

Jesus Christ ascended to Heaven, but He sent faithful and wise servants in His Church and to His Church, which are the seven angel-messengers of the seven ages, and the Angel-Messenger of the Age of the Cornerstone; and He gave them authority over His Household.

It goes on to say:

Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh…

Now, watch for what? For His Coming. It goes on to say:

…At even…

That was at the beginning of the Church, there with the apostles, and it also pertains to the stage of the great persecutions that the Church went through. It goes on to say:

…Or at midnight…

Midnight, we find, is the time of the second watch, because the first one ends at 12:00, and the second one starts at 12:00; in other words, as the first one ends, the second one begins.

…Or at the cockcrowing,” (that is then the third watch), “or in the morning,” (that is then the fourth watch).

• And He didn’t come in the first, nor the second, nor the third [watch]; so, by process of elimination, we already know that the Coming of the Son of man was for which of the watches? For the fourth watch. Because there is no other watch left; and that is the only watch that pertains to the daytime: it pertains to the first three hours of the morning.

In that fourth watch, notice, Jacob was blessed; in that fourth watch, we also find that Jesus walked on the sea; we find Jesus appearing to His disciples, revealing Himself to His disciples in the fourth watch. We find that in Saint Matthew chapter 14. That happened after He multiplied the loaves and fishes. Let’s see what the Scripture says. Chapter 14, verse 22 and on:

And straightway Jesus constrained his disciples to get into a ship, and to go before him unto the other side, while he sent the multitudes away.

This was after He multiplied the loaves and fishes, where five thousand people ate (not including the children and women); and when He finished, there were more loaves and fishes leftover than what He was given when He started.10

Notice, everything we put in the hands of Christ, He blesses, and multiplies, and uses in His Work; and later on when we see what we put in His hands, we will see that there will be more than what we put in His hands.

It goes on to say:

And when he had sent the multitudes away, he went up into a mountain apart to pray: and when the evening was come, he was there alone.

But the ship was now in the midst of the sea, tossed with waves: for the wind was contrary.

And in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went unto them, walking on the sea.

And when the disciples saw him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, It is a spirit; and they cried out for fear.

But straightway Jesus spake unto them, saying, Be of good cheer; it is I; be not afraid.

Now we can see Jesus walking on the sea in the fourth watch.

In Saint Mark it also tells us about this fourth watch in chapter 6, and it show us, in this fourth watch, everything that happened there. Let’s look at chapter 6, verse 48 and on. It says:

And he saw them toiling in rowing; for the wind was contrary unto them: and about the fourth watch of the night he cometh unto them, walking upon the sea, and would have passed by them.

But when they saw him walking upon the sea, they supposed it had been a spirit, and cried out:

For they all saw him, and were troubled. And immediately he talked with them, and saith unto them, Be of good cheer: it is I; be not afraid.

And he went up unto them into the ship; and the wind ceased: and they were sore amazed in themselves beyond measure, and wondered.

For they considered not the miracle of the loaves: for their heart was hardened.

Here we can see what happened in this fourth watch.

And in Saint John, we find that He also appears walking on the sea in the fourth watch; that is in chapter 6, verse 15 to 21. And you can read that at home, so that you have more Scriptures or passages where Jesus walked on the sea.

They were amazed that Jesus would speak to the winds and the sea, and they obeyed Him; it is because their Creator was there, and He would speak to them and they obeyed.

Now we can see that the fourth watch is very important in the prophetic field, regarding the Coming of the Son of man at the Last Day.

Now, the Last Day: What is the Last Day? It is the Lord’s Day. The Last Day is the seventh millennium, because “one day before the Lord is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.”11

And a watch, in terms of one day before the Lord as a thousand years, then three hours before the Lord… the three hours of the fourth watch are one hundred and twenty-five years; because one hour before God is forty-one years and eight months to human beings; and forty-one years and eight months multiplied by three equals one hundred and twenty-five years.

The first hundred and twenty-five years of the Last Day is the fourth watch before God, which Christ speaks to us about when He tells us: “It will be in the evening, or it will be at midnight, or it will be at the cock crowing, or in the morning.”

If it wasn’t at even (meaning, in the evening), and it wasn’t at midnight, and it wasn’t at the cock crowing, (in other words, the first, second, and third watches): all that’s left is the fourth watch.

In the fourth watch is when Christ walked on the sea, a type and figure of the Coming of Christ, the Coming of the Son of man at the Last Day, when His Church will be needing Him more than ever before.

And in Revelation chapter 10 we find Him walking on the sea, and walking on the sea to reach land. In Revelation chapter 10, verse 1 and on, it says:

And I saw another mighty angel come down from heaven, clothed with a cloud: and a rainbow was upon his head, and his face was as it were the sun, and his feet as pillars of fire:

And he had in his hand a little book open: and he set his right foot upon the sea, and his left foot on the earth,

And cried with a loud voice, as when a lion roareth: and when he had cried, seven thunders uttered their voices.

Here we have the Coming of the Son of man, the Coming of Christ at the Last Day; we find Him with His face as the sun.

When do you see the sun? In the morning, or in the daytime, not at night. His Coming is in the fourth watch, with His face as the Sun.

On Mount Transfiguration, in that vision where He showed the Coming of the Son of man with His Angels, He appears with His face as the sun as well. Why? Because His Coming is in the fourth watch, the fourth watch pertaining to the Last Day; in other words, it is for the first hundred and twenty-five years of the Last Day, of the seventh millennium.

During that time period of the fourth watch, the Coming of the Son of man with His Angels must be fulfilled here on Earth.

Now, we can see the importance of the watches, we can see why it is so important to understand the mystery of the watches: because in the fourth watch, Jesus Christ, the Son of man with His Angels, and His face shining as the sun, will be manifested on Earth with His face as the sun, in other words, as King of kings and Lord of lords; because His face as the sun represents Christ as King of kings and Lord of lords, as Son of man and Son of David, to sit on the Throne of David, and reign a thousand years and then for all eternity.

But for His Coming, there is a Program that must be fulfilled, just like for His First Coming there was a Program that had to be fulfilled.

We find that after His birth, twenty-nine and a half years passed for His ministry to start, and then three and a half more years passed for Him to carry out the Work of Redemption on Calvary’s Cross, and thus crown His First Coming as the Lamb of God.

And the Second Coming of Christ, which is the Coming of the Angel of the Covenant at the Last Day: is to carry out His Claiming Work over everything He redeemed with His precious Blood in His First Coming. And here on Earth we will be living in the fourth watch, in the Coming of the Son of man with His Angels.

Now, how long will the Son of man with His Angels be manifested on Earth before He fulfills the purpose of His Coming in all His fullness? (Because it will happen in stages, His Program has different stages; and during all those stages, He will be fulfilling the purpose of His Coming, and thus, He will be fulfilling the Biblical prophecies pertaining to the different stages of the Coming of the Son of man with His Angels, with His face shining as the sun, in other words, coming as King of kings and Lord of lords, Son of man and Son of David.)

Now we have seen the importance of these watches, and especially the importance of the fourth watch and its meaning in prophetic terms.

In prophetic terms, the fourth watch is the most important one, because it is the Divine Cycle of the first part of the seventh millennium, meaning, of the first hundred and twenty-five years of the seventh millennium, where the Coming of the Son of man will be manifested, revealed, among the Church of Jesus Christ, carrying out the Claiming Work.

Now, how long will the whole Program of the Coming of the Son of man with His Angels at the Last Day take? Let’s wait, and then we will see how long (in terms of time) the whole Work of the Son of man in His Coming with His Angels will take; where He will be calling and gathering all His elect, and completing His mystical Body of believers in the Age of the Cornerstone, and preparing us to be changed and raptured at this Last Day. All of this is for the fourth watch.

Notice, the resurrection of Christ happened at which time? It happened in the morning on Easter or Resurrection Sunday, and that is the fourth watch of Resurrection Sunday; a type and figure of the fourth watch of the Last Day, when the dead in Christ will rise in eternal bodies and we who are alive will be changed; just as Christ rose in the fourth watch on Resurrection Sunday.

And now, the Age of the Cornerstone is represented in Resurrection Sunday, because the Age of the Cornerstone is the Eighth Day, which is also the first day of the week.

And which is the first day of the week? Sunday. And if we count Sunday, together with the seven days of the week that have passed, then it would be the eighth day.

And if we count the Age of the Cornerstone together with the seven Gentile Church ages, It is the Eighth Age, the Eternal Age of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, to enter into the Divine Cycle of Eternity; so that we who are alive obtain the eternal body, and so that the dead in Christ obtain the eternal body they will be given by Christ in the resurrection.

The Age of the Cornerstone also, which is represented in Sunday, is also represented in the year of jubilee, which was the fiftieth year and was also the eighth feast day among the Hebrew people.

Every seven years—the seventh year was a year of rest for the land, to rest; it was a feast year. And after forty-nine years passed, the Hebrew people had gone through seven sabbath years, in other words, seven years of rest on Earth throughout forty-nine years; they had six years to work and one year of rest for the land. And then, after the forty-ninth year, which was a year of rest for the land, came the fiftieth year, which was the Year of Jubilee; and it was the year that the inheritance of every child of the Hebrew people, if he had lost it, returned to his hands, without paying a cent; it was the year of redemption.12

And the redemption of our bodies pertains to the Year of Jubilee in its present-day fulfillment, in other words, to the Age of the Cornerstone, where we will receive the redemption of our bodies, which is the transformation of our bodies, so that we who are alive have the eternal bodies and the dead in Christ receive their eternal bodies.

If one of our own departs, there is no problem, he will still receive his eternal body: he will rise in the fourth watch at this Last Day, in an eternal body, and he will be with us again. And if a person remains alive and the dead in Christ rise: when we see them, well, we will be changed.

Either way, we will have the eternal body that Christ has promised for all of us; because we are living in the Divine Cycle of redemption of our mortal bodies, to have the eternal body. We will be changed, and thus, we will have the eternal body, which is an inheritance that pertains to God’s sons and daughters; a blessing that the human being lost six thousand years ago, but that will be restored at this Last Day.

And all the other blessings that Adam and Eve lost will be restored at this Last Day. And we will all be in the image and likeness of Jesus Christ, we will be people in full perfection: perfect and eternal bodies, theophanic spirits that are eternal and perfect, and our souls will be eternal and perfect; and we will all be redeemed with our beloved Lord Jesus Christ, to live in the millennium and then for all eternity.

That is why the Scripture says that “the sufferings we go through in this earthly time in which we live and in these earthly bodies, are not worthy to be compared with the glories which will be revealed in us.”13 Those glories will be revealed in us in the eternal and new body we will have; and who is that for? For all of you and for me too.

And now notice, the first three watches were fulfilled during the seven Gentile Church ages, in the territories where those ages were fulfilled; because they pertain to the night, when the stars appear, and they pertain to that stage of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, when the seven stars or seven messengers of the seven Gentile Church ages appeared. The Church is represented—in those ages—in the moon, because it was night time.

But at the end time, the Church will not be clothed with the moon, but with the sun, because it is the time of the fourth watch, which is during the day. That is why it says: “Unto those that fear My Name shall the Sun of Righteousness arise with healing in His Wings.”14

That is why Christ appears on Mount Transfiguration with His face as the sun; and in Revelation chapter 10, He appears with His face as the sun; and in Revelation chapter 1, He also appears with His face as the sun. Chapter 1, verse 16, says:

And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp twoedged sword,” (the Sword is the Word. The seven stars are the seven angels of the seven ages), “and his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength.

Here we see Him with His face as the sun. Who? The Son of man. And the Son of man in His Coming comes with His face as the sun, because He comes in which of the watches? In the fourth watch.

And now we can see in Revelation chapter 22, verse 4, where it says:

And they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads.

There we can see the Sun, His face as the sun, and we can see that His Name, the Name of the Sun of Righteousness, the Name of Christ, the Angel of the Covenant, at the Last Day, His new Name, which is the Eternal Name of God: we find that all the children of God will have It on their foreheads, meaning, they will have the knowledge of the Eternal Name of God and new Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. The elect of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ will have that knowledge.

And one hundred and forty-four thousand Hebrews will also see Him coming with His face as the sun, and they will obtain the revelation of the Eternal Name of God and new Name of the Lord Jesus Christ; they will obtain the knowledge of Jesus Christ the Lamb of God, coming at the Last Day as the Lion of the tribe of Judah, as King of kings and Lord of lords in His Claiming Work.

And what Jacob wanted to know when he asked Him: “What is Your Name?” that will be revealed to the heavenly Jacob, to the heavenly Israel first, and to the earthly Israel: the Hebrew people.

The heavenly Israel is the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the earthly Israel is the Hebrew people, one hundred forty-four thousand Hebrews who will receive Him; just as the elect from among the Gentiles, of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, will receive Him at this end time. And they will be seeing Jesus Christ face to face, manifested in human flesh among His Church, and that will be the Coming of the white-horse Rider of Revelation 19.

What did the forerunner of the Second Coming of Christ say that the Coming of the white horse of Revelation 19 would be? Let’s see. On page 154 of the Book The Revelation Of The Seven Seals, the forerunner of the Second Coming of Christ says:

302 Glory! Notice! And when this Holy Spirit that we have becomes incarnate to us, the One that’s in our midst now in the form of the Holy Ghost, becomes incarnate to us, in the Person of Jesus Christ, we’ll crown Him King of kings,” (and Lord of lords).

It is the Coming of the Holy Spirit in human flesh.

And now, on page 318 of The Revelation Of The Seven Seals, in part of the prayer, our Brother Branham says:

[391] …May the Holy Spirit come down now, the white-horse Rider, while His Spirit, Spirit of Christ, in the face of antichrist, and call His Own.

Who is the One that calls His own? Who is the One that calls the elect? It is the Holy Spirit, the white-horse Rider of Revelation 19. And at the Last Day, He will be with us, among His Church, manifested in human flesh.

And now, let’s see, in Revelation chapter 19, it speaks to us about the Coming of Christ on a white horse and with a Sword coming out of His mouth, and with a Name that no man understands, which is: The Word of God; and on His vesture and on His thigh He has this Name written: King of kings and Lord of lords.

And now, on page 295 of the Book The Revelation of the Seven Seals, the forerunner of the Second Coming of Christ says:

196 But when our Lord appears here on earth, He’ll be riding on a snow-white horse. And He’ll be completely, fully, the Emmanuel, the Word of God incarnate in a Man.

That is the Coming of the white-horse Rider of Revelation 19. That is the Coming of the Angel of the Covenant, of Jesus Christ in Holy Spirit, veiled in human flesh at the Last Day in His Angel-Messenger, making known to us all these things which must shortly come to pass; and bringing us the blessing from Heaven, the blessing for the heavenly Israel: the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, and for the earthly Israel, which is the Hebrew people.

Now notice how the blessing comes from Heaven, God’s blessing, for God’s sons and daughters of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, and then for the Hebrew people; and this is all in the fourth watch; the fourth watch, which pertains to this time in which we are living.

This is the time of the fourth watch, this is the time in which God’s elect will be seeing the Angel of the Covenant, who is Jesus Christ in Holy Spirit, manifested in human flesh in His Angel-Messenger, seeing Him face to face manifested through human flesh, and receiving the blessings of Jesus Christ at this Last Day in the fourth watch.

We have seen: “THE MYSTERY OF THE WATCHES.”

We have seen the relationship between the watches and the journey of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, we have also seen in which of the watches the Son of man would come, and we have also seen which is the great event promised to take place in the fourth watch.

  • The great event is: the Coming of the Son of man with His Angels, the Coming of the white-horse Rider of Revelation 19, which is the Coming of Jesus Christ, the Angel of the Covenant, coming in Holy Spirit manifested through His Angel-Messenger, coming in human flesh manifested in His Angel-Messenger, making known to us all these things which must happen, and Jesus Christ blessing us at this Last Day; and calling and gathering all His elect at this Last Day.

That is the reason for the great event promised for the Last Day of the Coming of the Son of man with His Angels in the fourth watch.

We have seen: “THE MYSTERY OF THE WATCHES.”

It has been a great privilege to be with you tonight, testifying to you about: “THE MYSTERY OF THE WATCHES.”

May the blessings of Jesus Christ pertaining to this fourth watch be upon each one of you and also upon me; and soon may we all be changed and raptured and taken to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb in Heaven, and there, may we enjoy with Christ that great Feast of the Supper of the Lamb. In the Eternal Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen and amen.

May God continue to bless you all. And continue having an evening filled with the blessings of Jesus Christ, the Angel of the Covenant, the Son of prosperity.

God bless you and keep you all.

I will leave Rev. Gian del Corto with you again to continue and conclude our participation this evening by thanking Jesus Christ for His blessings tonight.
