The life of the forerunner and his Message

Good evening, beloved brethren and friends present; it is a great privilege for me to be with you on this occasion to share a few moments of fellowship around the Word of God, and to see for a few moments: “THE LIFE OF THE FORERUNNER AND HIS MESSAGE,” the life of the forerunner of the Second Coming of Christ and his Message.

For which I want to read in Malachi, chapter 4, verses 5 to 6, where it says:

“Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord:

And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.”

This Scripture is a promise of the coming of Elijah the prophet, before the coming of “the great and terrible day of the Lord,” that is, before the coming of the time of the great tribulation, which will be during the seventh millennium, in some time span of the seventh millennium.

And now, before the great tribulation comes God promises to send the prophet Elijah for a divine purpose. He says:

“And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers.”

We find that for the First Coming of Christ, God also sent Elijah, who prepared the way for the Lord. And in Malachi also, chapter 3, it speaks of the forerunner of the First Coming of Christ, and it also speaks of the Coming of Christ, His First Coming. Chapter 3, verse 1 and on, of Malachi says:

“Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the Lord of hosts.”

Here we have the promise of the coming of the forerunner of the First Coming of Christ to prepare the people for the Coming of the Messiah.

Also the prophet Isaiah, in chapter 40, verse 3 onwards, says:

“The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make straight in the desert a highway for our God.

Every valley shall be exalted, and every mountain and hill shall be made low: and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough places plain:

And the glory of the Lord shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together: for the mouth of the Lord hath spoken it.”

This prophecy, both of Isaiah (chapter 40, verse 3 and on) and of Malachi (chapter 4, verse 1), was fulfilled by John the Baptist; of whom the Archangel Gabriel testifies to the priest Zechariah when he tells him that he will have a son through his wife Elizabeth, and that he will be a prophet of God. Speaking of that child, the Archangel Gabriel thus says to Zechariah the priest.

Now let’s read here the encounter of the priest Zechariah with the Angel Gabriel: Chapter 1 of Luke, verses 11 onwards, it says:

“And there appeared unto him an angel of the Lord standing on the right side of the altar of incense.

And when Zacharias saw him, he was troubled, and fear fell upon him.

But the angel said unto him, Fear not, Zacharias: for thy prayer is heard; and thy wife Elisabeth shall bear thee a son, and thou shalt call his name John.

And thou shalt have joy and gladness; and many shall rejoice at his birth.

For he shall be great in the sight of the Lord, and shall drink neither wine nor strong drink; and he shall be filled with the Holy Ghost, even from his mother’s womb.

And many of the children of Israel shall he turn to the Lord their God.

And he shall go before him in the spirit and power of Elias, to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just; to make ready a people prepared for the Lord.”

Here the Archangel Gabriel identifies this child that the priest Zechariah was going to have, he identifies him as a prophet of God and as the Elijah promised to come with the spirit and power of Elijah, and to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, that is, to turn the hearts of the fathers under the Law to the Christian faith of the apostles, of the children. And so we find that John the Baptist would come preaching and preparing the people for the First Coming of Christ, to be turned to faith in Christ.

The Lord Jesus Christ Himself gave testimony about John the Baptist, and said: “And if ye will receive it, this is Elias, which was for to come.” Matthew, chapter 11, verse 14.

And also in chapter 17, verses 10 to 13, we have a conversation of the disciples with the Lord Jesus Christ, where it says as follows [Matthew]:

“And his disciples asked him, saying, Why then say the scribes that Elias must first come?

And Jesus answered and said unto them, Elias truly shall first come, and restore all things.

But I say unto you, That Elias is come already, and they knew him not, but have done unto him whatsoever they listed. Likewise shall also the Son of man suffer of them.

Then the disciples understood that he spake unto them of John the Baptist.”

Now notice how on two occasions Jesus speaks openly about John the Baptist and identifies him as the Elijah who was to come at that time preparing the way for the Lord in His First Coming.

However, his name was not Elijah, but John, the forerunner of the First Coming of Christ. But the Spirit of God, the Holy Spirit, being in John the Baptist, was operating the ministry of Elijah through John the Baptist; and therefore he came with the power and the spirit of Elijah, with the ministry of Elijah, in the third manifestation of the ministry of Elijah.

Because Elijah the Tishbite had the first; the second manifestation of that ministry was the prophet Elisha, who was the successor of the prophet Elijah. When the sons of the prophets saw Elisha parting the Jordan with Elijah’s mantle, they said: “The spirit of Elijah has rested upon Elisha.”1

And then, the third occasion in which the ministerial spirit of Elijah rested upon a man was in John the Baptist; he was that Elijah promised for that time, to forerun the First Coming of Christ.

And we have the promise for the end time, before the beginning of the terrible day of the Lord, before the seventh millennium begins, we have the promise that Elijah will come before the great and terrible day of the Lord, before the great tribulation, to restore the hearts of the children to the faith of the fathers the apostles; and then, the people being restored will enter the Last Day, after the departure of Elijah, the forerunner of the Second Coming of Christ; for the forerunner of the Second Coming of Christ comes with the spirit and power of Elijah.

The Angel of the Lord, the Angel of the Covenant, appeared to Reverend William Marrion Branham in the year 1933, in the Ohio River, there over the heavens, and said to him: “Just as John the Baptist was the forerunner of the First Coming of Christ, you will be the forerunner of the Second Coming of Christ.”2 In other words, the Reverend William Marrion Branham was identified as the forerunner of the Second Coming of Christ.

He came with the spirit and power of Elijah in his fourth manifestation, restoring the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ to the faith of the fathers, the apostles, in order to be prepared for the Second Coming of Christ as the Lion of the tribe of Judah, as King of kings and Lord of lords.

William Marrion Branham being the forerunner of the Second Coming of Christ, his Message foreruns the Second Coming of Christ; and although he is not in this time because he has already departed, his Message introduces the Second Coming of Christ.

It is the Message of the forerunner of the Second Coming of Christ which in the end time would be giving testimony of the Second Coming of Christ and how the Second Coming of Christ would be carried out; because through the forerunner of the Second Coming of Christ: Reverend William Marrion Branham, Jesus Christ spoke in Holy Spirit and gave these prophecies related to the Second Coming of Christ.

And since the Divine Program is reflected in God’s prophets, which He will carry out… We find that in the prophets of the Old Testament was reflected the First Coming of Christ and also the Second Coming of Christ. And we find, for example, in King David and also in King Solomon, and also in Joseph, Jacob’s son, a clear reflection of the First Coming of Christ and also of the Second Coming of Christ.

And also in different prophets of the Old Testament, like in Adam, also in the prophet Abraham, and in the prophet Isaac, and also in the prophet Jacob and also in the prophet Moses; we find that the First Coming of Christ was reflected in different prophets.

Even in the prophet Jonah the death and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ was reflected; and it was from there that Christ took the words, that no sign would be given to that generation, but the sign of Jonah: “As the prophet Jonah was in the belly of a great fish for three days, so shall the Son of Man be in the heart of the earth three days,”3 and then He would resurrect.

Now notice how the different prophets of the Old Testament reflected the different stages of the life of the Messiah in His First Coming and in His Second Coming. The things that were reflected in the Old Testament prophets, which were not fulfilled in Jesus Christ, in the Messiah in His First Coming, will be fulfilled in the Second Coming of Christ.

Now, we also find the prophecies of the Second Coming of Christ and the First Coming of Christ in the Old Testament; and the promises for the Second Coming of Christ are also found in the New Testament. And we also find the type and figure, the reflection, of the Second Coming of Christ, in men like Saint Peter, Saint Paul and each of the seven angel messengers of the seven ages. We find Christ reflecting His Second Coming in the Reverend William Marrion Branham, the forerunner of the Second Coming of Christ.

We find that just as the First Coming of Christ and Second Coming of Christ was reflected in the prophets of the Old Testament; in the Reverend William Marrion Branham, prophet forerunner of the Second Coming of Christ, the Second Coming of Christ was reflected, and the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ was also reflected going through her different ages, through the seven ages, and then passing to the Age of the Cornerstone.

We find that the Reverend William Branham himself says that his wife Meda represents the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ and represents his church (the church that he pastored), which is type and figure of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ for the time in which he lived and for this end time.

And notice how, in the Scripture, women represent churches. The Church of the Lord Jesus Christ is reflected in different women in the Old Testament and also in the New Testament.

The Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, for example, is reflected in Eve, and she is also reflected in Sarah, and she is also reflected in Ruth (the Moabitess who married Boaz); and Christ is reflected in Boaz, the kinsman redeemer who redeemed Naomi; and Naomi represents the Hebrew nation, and Ruth represents the gentile Church of the Lord Jesus Christ.4

We also find other women in the Bible, who represent the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, and others represent the Hebrew people.

Women in the Bible represent churches; and therefore, the wives of the prophets of God in the Old Testament represent both the Hebrew people and also the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, some of them.

Now, notice, Moses’ wife, that is, this gentile woman of Midian, daughter of Jethro, Zipporah, represents both the Hebrew people and also represents the Church of the Lord in certain stages in which they organized themselves and in which they became —part of the Church— a denominational system.

Now, notice how we also find that the wives of the messengers of the seven ages also represent the Church of the Lord going through those different ages or stages; and also the virgin Mary represents the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Now, notice how women in the Bible represent churches, because in these women is reflected, who fulfilled these types and figures, in them the Church passing through her different stages is reflected in them.

And therefore, in the life of the forerunner of the Second Coming of Christ, the Second Coming of Christ reflected in him, reflected in His forerunner the Second Coming of Christ… Just as the First Coming of Christ was also reflected in John the Baptist.

And when the First Coming of Christ was fulfilled, he was also a prophet, like John the Baptist; but a greater prophet than John the Baptist: corresponding to a new age, the Age of the Cornerstone of that time, and to a new dispensation, the Dispensation of Grace.

And notice how the First Coming of Christ was reflected in John the Baptist. And then he was preaching as John the Baptist, and people were following him; and they were baptized also by the disciples of Jesus Christ, those who followed Jesus Christ.

And it was the disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ who received the promise of the Holy Spirit5 on the Day of Pentecost, who were there: 120 believers in Christ, in the upper room, which were there gathered together ten days consecutively, until they were filled with the Holy Spirit.6

And now notice how it was the followers of the forerunner, of Jesus Christ, in the fulfillment of the Coming of the Messiah, who then received the promise of the Holy Spirit, the promise of the first fruits of the Spirit, from the Day of Pentecost onwards, until our time.

And for the end time we have the promise that we will be filled with the fullness of the Holy Spirit; and this will be for the believers in the Second Coming of Christ, those who will be following the foreran; which has been announced by the forerunner of the Second Coming of Christ, the Reverend William Marrion Branham, who said that the fulfillment of the Coming of Christ will be a reality for the end time; and he said that He will present Himself, and that the Message that foreruns the Second Coming of Christ (which is the Message of the forerunner of the Second Coming of Christ, the Message of the Reverend William Branham), will present, will introduce, the Second Coming of Christ.

In other words, the fulfillment of the Second Coming of Christ will be according to the Message of the forerunner of the Second Coming of Christ: he announced that the Coming of Christ will be like the Lion of the tribe of Judah, and will be like the Sun of Righteousness shining in the Morning. All these things are according to the prophecies of the Old Testament and also according to the prophecies of the New Testament.

And he also announced that it will be on a white horse, and he said that one will come from the West on a white horse; and he said: “We will ride this trail (that is, this path) once more (that is, again).”

Elijah, that is, the Holy Spirit operating the ministry of Elijah in the Reverend William Branham, said that he would travel this ministerial path again. In other words, the ministry of Elijah will travel again the ministerial road, he will travel it for the fifth time; and he will travel it with the white horse Rider coming from the West. And it is according to the Scripture, because he said it will be so, because it is a promise. In the message “God’s Only Provided Place Of Worship”7 it says:

6 …from the west will come a white horse rider. We’ll ride this trail again.”

In the message “And Knoweth It Not,”8 it also tells us about the journey that Elijah’s ministry will take for the fifth occasion.

And in the message “On the Wings of a Snow-White Dove”9 he tells us that he will ride this trail again because he has to bring a Message. (“On the Wings of a Snow-White Dove,” page 25 and page 27).

And also in the message “And know you not,” or “And Knoweth It Not,” (page 29 and 30) he also says that he will ride this trail again. He was seen in dreams by other people and they told him their dreams, and he made known what those dreams meant. And among the dreams that he used or made known, we find the dream of a rider on a white horse, dressed as an Indian, on a military horse, and he tells us this… Let’s read this passage a little bit here. Let’s read at the end, it says:

[265] ‘You held your hands up a little while.’ And said, ‘You looked down again, picked up the reins, said, ‘I’ll ride this trail just once more!’ Said, ‘The whole earth shook back and forth, like that.’ And said, ‘There was no more life left in me; I just fell down aside of the rock. Then I woke up.’ This is what this person who had this dream tells him.

And now, notice, in the Reverend William Branham the Second Coming of Christ was being reflected, and that is why in dreams and visions the Second Coming of Christ appears being reflected in the Reverend William Marrion Branham; and that is why he appears on a large military white horse, riding, and says: “I’ll ride this trail just once more!”

The Spirit of God, Jesus Christ in Holy Spirit, was in His forerunner, in the ministry corresponding to the seventh stage or age of the gentile Church, traveling the ministerial path of the seventh age of the gentile Church in the North American territory, from where God worked, from where Jesus Christ worked in His manifestation through His forerunner; and from there the Message was spread to all nations.

And through His forerunner, the Second Coming of Christ was also reflected: coming on this white horse in this dream, the forerunner of the Second Coming of Christ. And being Elijah, that represents the Second Coming of Christ coming on a white horse. And that is according to the biblical prophecy of Revelation, chapter 19 and verse 11 to 21, where it shows us the coming of a Rider on a white horse.

And the forerunner of the Second Coming of Christ says on page 277 of the book of The Seals, speaking to us of that Rider, he says:10

[391] …may the Holy Spirit come down now, the white-horse Rider…”

Which is the Rider, or who is the Rider of the true white horse, that is, the white horse of Revelation 19? It is the Holy Spirit, which is Jesus Christ in Holy Spirit, in His theophanic body. He says:

“…while His Spirit, Spirit of Christ, in the face of antichrist, and call His Own.”

Now see how the white horse Rider of Revelation 19 is Jesus Christ in Holy Spirit.

And for the end time, just as Jesus Christ in Holy Spirit came in each age manifested in human flesh in the angel messenger of each age, for the Last Day He will come manifested in the Angel Messenger of the Age of the Cornerstone and of the Dispensation of the Kingdom, which is His Angel Messenger, the Angel of the Lord Jesus Christ, of whom Christ says in Revelation 22, verse 16:

“I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches.”

And now let’s see what will be the Coming of the white horse Rider of Revelation, chapter 19, coming to His Church in the Last Day, in the Age of the Cornerstone and Dispensation of the Kingdom; in other words, passing from the seventh age of the gentile Church to the Age of the Cornerstone, after the ministry of the seventh angel messenger, the forerunner of the Second Coming of Christ, has finished.

Now notice what it says on page 256 of the book of The Seals in Spanish, the forerunner of the Second Coming of Christ says:11

196 But when our Lord appears here on earth, He’ll be riding on a snow-white horse. And He’ll be completely, fully, the Emmanuel, the Word of God incarnate in a Man.”

That is the Coming of the white horse Rider of Revelation, chapter 19. That is the Coming of Jesus Christ in Holy Spirit to the Age of the Cornerstone and Dispensation of the Kingdom, coming in human flesh, veiling Himself, revealing Himself, in His Angel Messenger, in the Last Day. That is the Coming of the white horse Rider of Revelation, chapter 19. All this was reflected in the forerunner of the Second Coming of Christ, the Reverend William Marrion Branham.

And now notice why he spoke of a Rider coming from the West riding on a white horse: because the fulfillment for the Second Coming of Christ is for the West, for the territory where the Age of the Cornerstone is being fulfilled in the Last Day, and the Dispensation of the Kingdom is opened; the veil of flesh will be there, the Angel of the Lord Jesus Christ, in which Jesus Christ in Holy Spirit will be manifested in the fulfillment of His Coming on a snow-white horse, coming on the white horse of the pure Word relevant to the Last Day.

And now, nevertheless, the Angel of the Lord Jesus Christ will not be the Lord Jesus Christ. He is only His instrument, His veil of flesh, through which Jesus Christ in Holy Spirit will be manifested in the Last Day, in the Age of the Cornerstone and in the Dispensation of the Kingdom, in the fulfillment of the divine promise for the Last Day, in the fulfillment of the white horse Rider who rides this trail once again, who rides the path of Elijah for the fifth time, and who rides the path, the trail of Moses for the second time, and the trail of Jesus for the second time.

That is the way the ministries of Moses, Elijah and Jesus will be manifested in the Last Day, by Jesus Christ in Holy Spirit manifested in human flesh in His Angel Messenger, in the Age of the Cornerstone and Dispensation of the Kingdom.

Now let’s see the life of our brother Branham: he and in him was reflected the Second Coming of Christ; and in his wife and his children was reflected the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ and the children of the Church of Jesus Christ; and the Second Coming of Christ was also reflected in one of his children.

Let’s see, since the churches are represented in women, his daughter Sharon Rose (who is Rose of Sharon) represents the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ in past stages, as also his wife Hope represented the Church of past ages.

His wife departed when she was very young, about 22 years old, and his little daughter Sharon Rose (Rose of Sharon) also departed. And this happened because he had the commission to go to the Pentecostals to preach the Word to them, God opened the door for that seventh Church age; and because of his mother-in-law, who made a negative comment against the Pentecostals, he didn’t go later to the Pentecostals to take the Message to them. And he had already made an itinerary with different ministers to carry out activities in their congregations, and he didn’t go to fulfill those commitments; therefore, he had problems before God.12

His wife herself, after his departure, spoke to him about these things; and he also recognized the cause for which his wife and daughter departed.

It is a terrible and sad thing, for a prophet messenger of an age or dispensation, not to assume his position in the age and dispensation in which he is living; he and his family suffer a lot.

We find the same thing in the prophet Moses, who had some problems with God; and the most outstanding one was when he struck the rock on the second occasion when he had to draw water from the rock in another territory. And the rock, representing Christ, and representing the Second Coming of Christ, couldn’t be smitten; and he smote it, and broke the type and figure. And God was angry with Moses, and told him that he wouldn’t enter the promised land because he didn’t honor God, but Moses glorified himself and in anger smote the rock.

The people were a rebellious people; but Moses couldn’t be led by the people, but by God; and he had to obey God and do things according to what God told him; and there Moses failed before God. God was angry with Moses and told him that he wouldn’t enter the promised land, neither he nor Aaron, because they didn’t honor Him but glorified themselves.

Because of the people, Moses says that he committed this grave error before God. It was counted to Moses as sin and prevented him from entering the promised land in the earthly body he had.

God’s promise was that he would enter the promised land with the people, that he would take the people to the promised land; but because of his failure there, God told him that he wouldn’t take the people to the promised land, on the other side of the Jordan, but that Joshua would take them to the promised land.

Moses then wanted God to forgive him and give him a chance to enter the promised land, and God said to him: “Speak to me no more of this matter (it is a closed matter). You shall not enter the promised land.”

So notice that it is a terrible thing for a prophet not to fulfill the divine command according to the way God orders him. If he does it differently and if he acts in anger because of the people, that prophet will have serious consequences before God. Although he will not be lost, but he will suffer a lot here on Earth. That happened to the prophet Moses.

In the book of Exodus; and also in the book of Numbers, chapter 20, verses 8 to 13, and chapter 20, verse 24, tells us about this event by which Moses couldn’t enter the promised land in his body of flesh; but he entered in his theophanic body; and then we find him there, we find him on Mount Transfiguration.

See how God spoke to the prophet Moses: in Numbers, chapter 20, verse 6 and on, it says:

“And Moses and Aaron went from the presence of the assembly unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and they fell upon their faces: and the glory of the Lord appeared unto them.

And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,

Take the rod, and gather thou the assembly together, thou, and Aaron thy brother, and speak ye unto the rock before their eyes; and it shall give forth his water, and thou shalt bring forth to them water out of the rock: so thou shalt give the congregation and their beasts drink.

And Moses took the rod from before the Lord, as he commanded him.

And Moses and Aaron gathered the congregation together before the rock, and he said unto them, Hear now, ye rebels; must we fetch you water out of this rock?

And Moses lifted up his hand, and with his rod he smote the rock twice: and the water came out abundantly, and the congregation drank, and their beasts also.

And the Lord spake unto Moses and Aaron, Because ye believed me not, to sanctify me in the eyes of the children of Israel, therefore ye shall not bring this congregation into the land which I have given them.

This is the water of Meribah; because the children of Israel strove with the Lord, and he was sanctified in them.”

Now notice why Aaron and Moses wouldn’t enter the promised land; and they didn’t enter.

Moses then wanted to enter the promised land, but God told him that he wouldn’t enter. And as God told Moses that he wouldn’t enter the promised land, that was something that couldn’t be changed. Notice how Moses complains before the people and with the people, saying [Deuteronomy 3:23]:

“And I besought the Lord at that time, saying,

O Lord God, thou hast begun to shew thy servant thy greatness, and thy mighty hand: for what God is there in heaven or in earth, that can do according to thy works, and according to thy might?

I pray thee, let me go over, and see the good land that is beyond Jordan, that goodly mountain, and Lebanon.

But the Lord was wroth with me for your sakes, and would not hear me: and the Lord said unto me, Let it suffice thee; speak no more unto me of this matter.

Get thee up into the top of Pisgah, and lift up thine eyes westward, and northward, and southward, and eastward, and behold it with thine eyes: for thou shalt not go over this Jordan.

But charge Joshua, and encourage him, and strengthen him: for he shall go over before this people, and he shall cause them to inherit the land which thou shalt see.”

Now notice how Moses prayed to God to forgive him and let him enter the promised land; and God said to him: “Enough, speak to me no more of this matter: you shall not enter. Joshua shall be the one to go in and bring the people of Israel into the promised land, and he shall divide the promised land to them.”

Now notice how God was angry with Moses, says the prophet Moses himself; he says that God was angry with him. God had been angry with Moses; this is the second occasion.

The first occasion was when Moses told God that he didn’t know how to speak, that he had problems to speak, that he was slow to speak and that he should send for the person he had to send13; and the person sent was the prophet Moses; but Moses didn’t want to speak because he had problems to speak. But God wanted it that way, He wanted him even with all those problems to speak; but that spoken Word had to come out through Moses.

Now notice, when a prophet changes what God has commanded, he is asking for serious problems before God. Here Moses changed the perfect will of God, of God speaking through Moses to the people; and he allowed Aaron to speak to the people, and Moses would speak to Aaron, and God would speak to Moses. But look, then Aaron made a golden calf for the people, at the request of the Hebrew people themselves.14

And notice, then in the waters of contention there were also the two of them, and they had problems with God, and neither of them entered the promised land in the physical body that they had. They were not lost, but they couldn’t enter the promised land in the physical body; they entered in their theophanic bodies.

And then, when Christ appeared on Mount Transfiguration, there appeared the prophet Moses and there also appeared the prophet Elijah, in their theophanic bodies.15 And then, when Christ resurrected, there also resurrected the Old Testament saints,16 among whom is the prophet Moses and also the prophet Enoch, and all these prophets of the Old Testament. Therefore, all the prophets of the Old Testament, the chosen ones of the Old Testament, were resurrected, and they have their new bodies that God promised them.

Now, notice how when a prophet does differently than God commands him for an age or a dispensation, he has problems, and his family also has problems, and also the people he leads have problems.

The best thing is that the messenger, even if he has problems to speak, or economic problems, or criticisms, goes ahead and doesn’t pay attention to the criticisms and to the contrary situations that come against him, and to the contrary circumstances that may surround him, and continues forward serving God and giving the Message; and then God will be with him and he will have the blessings of God.

Now notice, God showed a person in a dream, that our brother Branham had done as the prophet Moses had done. The message “Standing in the Gap” tells us about this dream that this person had.17

And now, notice, on different occasions we find that just as the prophet Moses had done, he became the forerunner of the Second Coming of Christ, and he had problems before God; although he continued being the forerunner of the Second Coming of Christ.

We find that his wife Hope departed, and his child, his baby, Sharon Rose, departed because of this situation, not heeding the divine call to be among the Pentecostals, to which the seventh age of the gentile Church belongs.

The seventh age of the gentile Church is the Pentecostal Age; and the Reverend William Marrion Branham was the messenger of the Pentecostal Age. And you see, the door for him to carry the Message to the Pentecostal Age was opened at that time for the forerunner of the Second Coming of Christ, and it was opened among the colored Pentecostals —mainly— in an activity, a convention that they had in a certain place, which our brother Branham attended, he noticed the cars and the buses coming to that place; he followed them and came to the place where they had that convention, he was there. And when they asked the ministers that were there to identify themselves, he identified himself as a Baptist minister —for our brother Branham was a Baptist minister—, and he was the youngest of all the ministers that were there; and then they invited him the next day.

The next day he preached in the morning, and the blessing that God poured in that activity when our brother Branham preached was so great, that all the ministers wanted him to go to their churches to have activities with him, to be the preacher in activities of those churches; and they gave him their names and addresses, and they did everything, they prepared everything, he was ready to go; but then he didn’t go, because of the criticisms that his mother-in-law made about the Pentecostals (she was a Presbyterian, and our brother Branham was a Baptist, and his wife Hope was a Baptist too, because she was already married to our brother Branham; or if she was not married, she was soon to be married).

And notice how then those problems came to our brother Branham’s life, because of not going with the Message to those congregations where God had opened the door for him. Being the messenger of the seventh age of the gentile Church, of the Pentecostal Age, he had to go to the Pentecostals to give them the Message.

Then, later on, he was among the Pentecostals; but all the time he lost, notice, God…, you see, God demanded it from him, and he had consequences by not going in time to fulfill the mission of messenger of the seventh age of the gentile Church.

But God allowed him – he left with him his son, Billy Paul, who was always by his side and was by his side in all the activities of our brother Branham; he was a great help to our brother Branham in all the days of his ministry.

And notice how our brother Branham (and his son Billy Paul) passed into the Pentecostal Age. And in the Pentecostal Age and among the Pentecostals he had a powerful ministry manifested, which brought thousands or millions of people to the feet of Jesus Christ, which received salvation and which he met in Heaven when he went to visit Paradise; and then when he went to Paradise in December 24, 1965, there he met all of them, all the converts to Christ under his ministry, from the beginning of his ministry until the year 1965. And even all those who have remained and then have gone to Heaven, and have remained in the forerunner’s Message, have gone to be part of the forerunner’s group.

But then would come those of the foreran group, who belong to the most privileged group of all groups, because they belong to the Age of the Cornerstone group.

Now, we find that later on our brother Branham married again with Miss Meda; and he had two daughters and a son. His two daughters, the first one is Rebecca, the second one is Sarah. And since in a prophet and his family the Divine Program is reflected, the Church is reflected in his wife Meda, and also in his daughters Rebecca and Sarah; and she represents churches, in other words, she represents groups that would come out of the Message of the seventh angel messenger; in other words, she represents believers of the Message of the seventh angel messenger; and then his son Joseph represents the Second Coming of Christ.

He took this book of Joseph, when he read the story of Joseph the son of Jacob, and he said that if God gave him a son he would name him Joseph; and Joseph represents or typifies, or in him is reflected, in Joseph the son of Jacob, the First Coming of Christ and the Second Coming of Christ is reflected. And now notice how in Joseph, the son of our brother Branham, the Second Coming of Christ is being reflected.

That is why when God tells him that he will have a son and he will name him Joseph, our brother Branham says to his wife: “Joseph is coming, Joseph is coming.”18 Because that son will represent the Second Coming of Christ. And our brother Branham being the forerunner of the Second Coming of Christ, he is announcing the Second Coming of Christ with that son that he will have.

Thus God reflected in that son, Joseph, the Second Coming of Christ. And that is why that son is a great blessing for his mother and his father, which are a great blessing for the whole Church of the Lord Jesus Christ.

And now, notice how after his wife Meda had their two daughters, Rebecca and Sarah, then he couldn’t have more children, and she had a tumor in one of the ovaries; and she couldn’t have more children for at least two reasons; but God had told our brother Branham that he would have a son and he would name him Joseph.

As God had said to Abraham that he would have a son, and that he would call his name Isaac; and Sarah was very old, and couldn’t bear children, and was barren; but God had said that he would have a son. And since nothing is impossible for God: she had the promised son; Sarah was rejuvenated, and Abraham was also rejuvenated, and they had the promised son. Sarah at the age of 90 years gave birth to a son, and Abraham at the age of 100 years received the son that God had promised him he would have.19

And now, notice how God healed our sister Branham: the tumor of that ovary disappeared before the doctor placed his hand on it, being in the doctor’s office to be operated on that day; and now notice how miraculously, by the spoken creative Word, that tumor disappeared: our brother Branham being in another place; notice how he spoke the Word and the tumor disappeared.20

And for the Second Coming of Christ, notice, all this that was seen, both in the wife of our brother Branham, sister Meda, and both in our brother Branham and in his son Joseph, who came later; all that is type and figure of the things that in the Divine Program would be happening in the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ for the Coming of the promised Son, of our Joseph, which is Jesus Christ in His Second Coming.

That is our Joseph: Jesus Christ in His Second Coming coming in the Last Day, coming in and through His Church and to His Church, in the Last Day. And for that the creative Word has to be spoken in the Age of the Cornerstone, for the fulfillment of the Coming of the Son of Man, for the fulfillment of the Second Coming of Christ.

Now, notice how God reflected His Church in our sister Branham, and notice how He reflected the Second Coming of Christ in Joseph, the son of our brother Branham, and how He also reflected the different groups that would emerge from the Message of our brother Branham, He reflected them in his two daughters Rebecca and Sarah.

And now, notice how in Joseph is reflected the Second Coming of Christ and the Age of the Cornerstone, the Age of the Second Coming of Christ; and therefore, there are also reflected all the elect of God who will see the Second Coming of Christ in the Last Day.

Now, we can see how these things were reflected in the forerunner of the Second Coming of Christ.

The seven stages or ages of the gentile Church were also reflected in the forerunner of the Second Coming of Christ, and the problem that there was in each of the ages of the gentile Church, in the stomach disease that our brother Branham had, which began when he was seven years old; and every seven years he had an outbreak, an attack, of that stomach problem.

Always, every seven years, the seventh year, he always had problems, and he entered a very difficult stage in his life. And this is type and figure of the problem that there was in each of the gentile Church ages, where the antichrist attacked the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ and caused great damage to the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ in each of the seven ages of the gentile Church.

And now, notice how it entered through the mouth, it entered through the mouth, the problem entered through his mouth; in other words, in the vision that he had of his problem he saw a small squirrel, and his eyes were small too, with a very bad appearance, and jumped inside him. He saw himself in a vision when he was 7 years old, and it jumped inside him and entered through his mouth; when he opened his mouth it entered through his mouth, and reached his stomach, and there it caused him serious problems; that is how he saw it in the vision. And that represented the problem he had with his health, which attacked him every seven years.

He noticed that it happened every seven years, he noticed it at a certain time, maybe; when it had already happened seven times, he noticed that it repeated every seven years.

It says on page 18 of the Message “On the Wings of a Snow-White Dove”:21

137 I’ve been a neurotic all my life. As a little boy there was something struck me, that scare me, about every seven years it would happen to me.”

Now, notice how every seven years this condition was repeated. But when it was repeated for seven occasions (type and figure, those seven occasions, of the seven ages of the gentile Church), we find that after that seventh occasion seven years went by, and in the seventh year that the problem was supposed to come, it didn’t come to him.

On the seventh occasion when that problem came, he was 49 years old, and that problem came in the year number 49, the year… You see, every time one says: “I am 49 years old,” one is apparently living around the year 48…; in other words, he is 48 years old and he is living the year 49, but he can’t say he is 49 years old until he is 49 years old.

And now, notice how when he lived the 49th year it was a time of trouble, he was attacked for the last time by that stomach problem.

And then, when he reached the year 50… the year 50 represents jubilee, it is the year of jubilee. It was the Day of Pentecost, the 50th day, that the Holy Spirit came upon 120 people; and it is for the updated Year 50, which is the Age of the Cornerstone, that the fullness of the Holy Spirit will come upon the elect of God who will be living at the Last Day.

And in our brother Branham, in that divine cycle, that divine cycle of the year of jubilee, that divine cycle of the year 50, notice, it is being reflected in our brother Branham. He entered the year 50 and went through the year 51, and the year 52, and the year 53, and the year 54, and the year 55…; and in the year 56 no problem came to him. And what happened there? Look at what happened. It says on page 22 and 23 of the message “On the Wings of a Snow-White Dove”:

177 And then the next morning, I raised up in the bed and looked around, I looked over in the twin bed; my wife over there, she hadn’t woke up yet. And I was looking out the window towards the great Catalina Mountains (that is in Tucson, Arizona) there where I live, and I looked up there where the Angel of the Lord put that Sword in my hand, where the seven Angels that you see in the picture appeared, great things taken place.

178 And I looked, and as I looked, there I was standing by that tree again, right where that squirrel was.”

Remember, in the vision he saw himself when he was a child first, then he saw himself when he was about 38 years old, or let’s say from 35 to 42 years old. And in the vision he saw himself in front of a tree, he scraped it with a stick, and from there a squirrel came out and entered his mouth; but now look what happened on this occasion. He says:

“I looked up there, I thought, ‘That’s that squirrel’s den.’ (In other words, he saw himself in the same tree where he always saw himself in the vision). And I thought, ‘Wonder if he’s still up there?’ in the vision (he asked himself in the vision). I raked the side of the tree, out he come. And before I could even bat my eye… He was the oddest looking squirrel I ever seen; now, you’ll have to know my ministry to know these symbols and things (You see? It’s a symbol). He jumped at me but he missed me (in the other previous occasions it hadn’t failed, but had entered his mouth); he missed my mouth, hit on my chest and fell off.

179 And as soon as he did, I heard Something said, ‘Go to the Catalina Mountains.’

180 So I turned around, I said, “Meda, are you awake, Honey?” And I woke her up.

181 She said, ‘What’s the matter?’ About five o’clock in the morning.

182 I said, ‘I was looking out here, and I saw that squirrel again, Honey (he said to his wife).’

(She asks him):

183 ‘What squirrel?’

184 I said, ‘The one I seen up there at Mayos’.’”

In other words, in the clinic he saw the vision of that squirrel, and he saw himself when he was 7 years old, he saw himself scraping the tree; and he saw when he came out of the tree, out of the cave he had in the tree, and went into his mouth. And he was about 7 years old, he saw himself like that in the vision; in other words, he went back to the age of 4 years old.

Remember that squirrel is a symbol of the disease he had, and it is also a symbol of the problem that entered through the mouth of the Church in its different stages. Now, it says:

184 I said, ‘The one I seen up there at Mayos’.’ I said, ‘You know what? He missed my mouth this time, he never hit me, he went out on my chest.’ I said, ‘Praise be to God! I’ve looked, oh, since a little boy, I have longed to see that happen.’”

In other words, he was hoping that in a vision he would see the squirrel again, and when it was going to jump into his mouth it would not fall into his mouth, but would fall out, and thus the squirrel would fail to enter his mouth and pass to his belly. Notice this:

“I’ve looked, oh, since a little boy, I have longed to see that happen. If I could ever see that happen, not even… Before I knowed what a vision was, if I could ever see that happen, then I said, ‘I’d be all right.”

You see, he said that as a child (not yet a convert to Christ), he knew that if he saw this vision again —the squirrel hopping, and failing— he would be healed.

“And for forty years I’ve looked for that, and there it happened.”

Now, notice:

185 Before, when I was at Mayos’, the same time I was up there when they give me that message, and I saw the vision…”

In other words, during the time he was at the Mayos’ Clinic to be examined for that problem, he had that vision of the squirrel; and he saw all his problem represented, symbolized, in that squirrel entering through his mouth into his stomach and producing all those problems.

Now see what happened… Here the Lord tells him to go there to the mountain… Let’s see what he says:

194 That morning, I got up after seeing this vision; I obeyed the Lord. I took my little boy, Joseph, to school. He’s listening to me now, in Tucson. I took him to school, and told Meda I didn’t know when I’d be back.

195 And I took off up into Catalina, up into the—the foothills, and—and went up into the place where the Angel of the Lord put the Sword in my hand. Real early; and started climbing up the mountain.

196 Well, instead of going up in the peaks this a-way (which there’s a lot snakes, scorpions, you know how Arizona is), I turned to my right; Something said, ‘Turn to your right.’ I went way into the peaks; I went around, and I was going around those great huge rocks, many times bigger than this tabernacle, laying up in them tops there where seldom ever a person could get.

197 And along about eleven o’clock, I was going into a little cove, back where some… a little place turned in like this over a little deer trail. And I had my shirt off, my hat in my hand, because I was just lathering with sweat. And so I turned in there, and as I turned into that little cove, I felt the presence of the Lord (When he turned what? A corner).”

To turn a curve means to turn a corner; and to turn a corner means to turn from one dispensation to another dispensation. And also, notice, he says:

“I jerked off my hat and looked around. I thought, ‘He’s here somewhere. I know He’s here.’ I thought, ‘What is it?’ I made a few more steps. I said, ‘Lord, You’re here somewhere.’

198 And I looked laying on the path, and there laid that little squirrel; had jumped at something and missed it, and it hit a bunch of cholla (that’s jumping cactus). It rammed through his head, chest, stomach, and he was dead. That odd-looking little squirrel, he had missed my mouth and hit that cholla. And the Voice of the Lord said, ‘Your enemy is dead.’ I stood there, and I trembled. I took my foot and ma-…

199 Usually crows would’ve eat it up. I killed a snake, couple days later than that, it laid on the road about a half hour. There’s always eagles and crows flying through there, and they’ll pick it up right now. I killed a coral snake, that’s the most dangerous snake we got; laying right beside of me, a few days after that. I started to come back to pick it up to show it, the crows had done got it, the ravens passing over.

200 And that had been laying there ever since I had seen the vision, two days before; I believe it was on Saturday, and I went up there on Monday. So there he was, laying on there dead. I mashed through it with my foot (that is, he finished it off).

201 I went back around, set down again; set there and cried a while, and prayed; looking down over Tucson, miles below me.

202 Turned back around and come back, it still laid there. When I entered that cove the Spirit of God come on me again.

203 I went on around, went down the mountain. Went in and told my wife, I said, ‘Honey, I don’t know how, but I’m going to get over this.’”

Now, you see, he goes on to say:

205 And the next day Something said, ‘Go back to the mountain.’

206 And that day instead of going one way, I was led to go another way. And I was standing there; and looking, setting in the front of me, and there set that seventh little, white dove, looking right at me. I rubbed my eyes, I said, ‘Surely, it’s a vision; surely, it is.’ I looked, and I said, ‘Little dove, where do you come from?’ Just as pretty and white, could’ve been a pigeon…”

He goes on to say further on:

208 There set the dove, setting there looking at me. I walked around, I thought, ‘Surely, it’s a vision.’ I turned my head, I looked back, and there he set there; them little, white wings, just as snowy as he could be; his little, yellow feet; and little, yellow beak; setting there looking at me. He was watching right straight westward. I walked around him like that, I wouldn’t touch him for nothing. I walked on up the trail; looked back, and there he still set watching me

209 Brother, as a son of Abraham, I consider not what the doctor told me, I’m going to be well, anyhow!

210 The third day I went back, I was climbing up high. And many of you know the vision about the Indian chief riding that little wall to the west. Something attracted me off to a big rock, about noontime, said, ‘Lay your hands against that and pray.’ God in Heaven knows this is true.

211 I laid my hands against the rock and looked up towards Heaven and started praying. I heard a Voice coming out of the top of the rocks there, said, ‘What are you leaning against, over your heart?’ And I raised back like this, my bare shoulders; naked from my waist up, hot. I looked back. And there was wrote in the quartz, in the stone, ‘White Eagle’; just exactly what the vision said that the next Message would come forth by.

212 I was so excited, I run home; got a camera and come back the next day, and took the picture of it. It was still there, wrote in the rock: ‘White Eagle.’ (Dove leading eagle.)”

Remember that eagle represents what? Prophet. An eagle is always a prophet. And now look on page 27… where it says:

225 Why, me an old man, suffered all my life, why did He heal me now? I believe I’ll ride this trail again, I got to bring a Message!”

In other words, Elijah has to bring a Message by traveling the ministerial path again, traveling it for the fifth time.

This was in the year 1965, when he preached this message, on November 28, 1965; and on December 24, 1965 he departed. In other words, in the year he was about to leave, God gave him testimony that he was healed, and the disease that always attacked him in his stomach didn’t repeat itself; and so he was healed to go to the Lord in the same year 1965.

This speaks to us of the Mystical Body of Christ, which for the end time will be healed both spiritually and physically as well. And with that healing, the dead in Christ will be resurrected in eternal bodies and we who are alive will be transformed; and the health problem, which brings sickness and death to the human being, will be solved for all the children of God, and we will have a healthy eternal body, which will never get sick and will never die.

Notice how the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ has been reflected in our brother Branham, which would receive its healing, both spiritually and physically, both for the members of the Mystical Body of Christ that in the Last Day receive the Word of God and live in an age that doesn’t have the problems that the seven ages of the gentile Church had…, and which passes through its different stages until we who are alive are transformed, and the dead in Christ are resurrected in eternal bodies, to go to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb, to the House of our heavenly Father.

The first 49 years of our brother Branham’s life represent the years of the seven stages or ages of the gentile Church. And the years 50 to 56 represent the years of the Age of the Cornerstone, from the beginning of that age until the end of that age; and because it is an eternal age: it will never end, but we who are alive will be changed, and the dead in Christ will be resurrected, and we will go with Christ to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb to Heaven.

Now, we have to reach that stage where our brother Branham arrived, where he received his healing, where in type and figure for our physical body will be our transformation and for the dead in Christ will be the resurrection in eternal bodies; and for the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, spiritually it is the spiritual healing, which has been taking place in the Age of the Cornerstone.

And the Age of the Cornerstone will not have the problems that every age of the gentile Church had, because it will no longer have that little animal, that evil squirrel, which represents the antichrist, which from age to age was manifested and which caused serious problems to the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ; and which caused the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, in different ages, after a certain time in each age to depart from the Word of God, and then came another age with the Word of God; and so on from age to age.

And now, for the Age of the Cornerstone, Christ will never depart from it; for Christ will be in the Age of the Cornerstone, because it is an eternal age, in which the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ receives its spiritual healing, and the members of the Mystical Body of Christ in this end time we who are alive will be transformed, and the dead in Christ will be resurrected. All this is represented in the divine cycle of the life of our brother Branham, from the year 50 to the year 56 of his life.

See how it was in that divine cycle that the seven angels appeared to him in the cloud and gave him the commission to go east, to Jeffersonville, Indiana, to preach the message of The Seals. They appeared to him where? In the west, over the Arizona skies. And now notice how the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ in the Last Day will be in the West as well, where the resurrection of the dead in Christ and the transformation of us who are alive will take place, and then the Church of Jesus Christ with the Angel Messenger of Jesus Christ will go to the East, which is the Hebrew people, and take the Message of the Gospel of the Kingdom.

Now, we can see that all this was reflected in the life of our beloved brother William Marrion Branham.

We have seen the mystery of the life of the forerunner of the Second Coming of Christ, we have also seen his Message; and we have seen how in his Message there are visions, there are dreams and prophecies, which give testimony of what will be the Second Coming of Christ and what Christ will be doing in His Church in the Last Day, and how the elect of God will receive Him in the Last Day, in the Age of the Cornerstone, and how the resurrection of the dead in Christ will come and the transformation of us who are alive. All is reflected in the forerunner of the Second Coming of Christ.

Now we can see how Christ was reflected in His forerunner and how He reflected the Work that He would carry out in this Last Day, in the Age of the Cornerstone and Dispensation of the Kingdom, to call and gather His elect, and to —after making the claim— resurrect the dead in Christ and transform us who are alive, to go to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb in this Last Day.

Now, you see, just as our brother Branham had to wait all those years to have the testimony from God of his healing in the year 56 of his life, and also to see the seventh dove; so the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ has had to wait all these ages to reach the Age of the Cornerstone, the divine cycle represented in the years 50 to 56 of the life of our brother Branham; because that is the divine cycle of the Year of Jubilee.

He started the jubilee year of his life in the year 50, and from there he entered the jubilee, and never again had the health problem that repeated every 7 years. All that, we have seen how it was reflected there, in this vision that he had, how all that problem was reflected, because it is a type and figure of the problems through which the Church of Jesus Christ would go through; and then: the spiritual and then physical healing of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ; and this is for the divine cycle from the year 50 and on.

And when we enter the Age of the Cornerstone we enter the Year of Jubilee, the Year 50, and we go through seven stages; and at the end of the seven stages, each member of the Mystical Body of Christ of the Age of the Cornerstone will receive their eternal body, their new body, they will receive physical health also, in other words, their body will be transformed; and that is a greater health than a physical miracle for the physical body, remaining in the physical body; it is a greater miracle, because that miracle will place us in the eternal body that Christ has promised for each one of you and for me also.

Now, we have seen the life of the forerunner of the Second Coming of Christ and his Message, the Message that foreruns the Second Coming of Christ. We have seen some of the dreams and visions and prophecies that he gave in his messages, in his conferences, which correspond to this time in which we live, where they would be materialized, fulfilled, according to the divine promises found in the biblical prophecies, both in the Old Testament and in the New Testament.

We have seen this great mystery of the life of the forerunner of the Second Coming of Christ, William Marrion Branham, and his Message.

And now to finish, on page 5 of the message “On the Wings of a Snow-White Dove,” paragraph 36 in Spanish, says:

36 But just like one time up in the mountains and watching an eagle, and seeing him fly away (you know my story of it), I said, ‘It’s good to be here, Lord; like Peter said, ‘we could build three tabernacles.’ But down at the foot of the mountain, the sick and the afflicted are waiting, the lost and dying are waiting.’ So let us do what we can while it’s day, and someday there’ll be a… the wings of a white Eagle will come down, He’ll bear us away.”

The wings of what? Of a white Eagle. Eagles represent prophets.

The forerunner of the Second Coming of Christ is an eagle, a prophet, and the Angel of the Lord Jesus Christ is also an eagle, a prophet.

And if with the first eagle, the forerunner of the Second Coming of Christ, we didn’t leave in the rapture for the Marriage Supper of the Lamb, then we will leave with the coming of the foreran, who is a greater eagle.

We will go with Christ in His Second Coming, in His manifestation of the Last Day, in the Age of the Cornerstone and Dispensation of the Kingdom, veiled and revealed in His Angel Messenger, the Angel Messenger who gave John the apostle the revelation of Revelation, the Eagle who revealed to John these apocalyptic visions with these apocalyptic symbols that he saw and wrote.

We have seen THE MYSTERY OF THE LIFE OF THE FORERUNNER OF THE SECOND COMING OF CHRIST AND HIS MESSAGE.

And here we are in this end time, in the Age of the Cornerstone, the age corresponding to the Year of Jubilee, the age corresponding to the divine cycle of the Year of Jubilee, which was reflected in the life of our brother Branham from the 50th year of his life to the 56th year of his life.

We have seen the mystery that was hidden in the life of the forerunner of the Second Coming of Christ, and in his family as well.

May God bless the family of the forerunner of the Second Coming of Christ, and help them in the Last Day to see the fulfillment of the divine promises that were given by Jesus Christ through the forerunner of the Second Coming of Christ.

And to all the elect written in the Lamb’s Book of Life: may God open their eyes to see all that was reflected in the forerunner of the Second Coming of Christ being fulfilled in this end time, according to the biblical prophecies that we have in the Old Testament and in the New Testament, regarding the Work that Christ would be doing in this Last Day.

There are many other things that can be said about this powerful prophet forerunner of the Second Coming of Christ: Reverend William Marrion Branham.

He couldn’t enter the promised land of the new body being here on Earth, that is, he couldn’t enter the promised land of the new body and then be raptured being in the new body along with all the elect; but he saw, like Moses, the promised land, and he saw what would later be the fulfillment of the Divine Program in a new age, the Age of the Cornerstone, and in a new dispensation, the Dispensation of the Kingdom. He saw it all in those dreams and visions and prophecies that were given to him to give to the people of God, to the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ; he saw all these things, and told the things that would happen after his departure.

He said: “He will be here.” He also said: “I will not die of old age without Him being here.”22 By this time he would be how old? He would be 88 years old. And already at 80 years of age it is normal for a person to die; even at 70 years of age, due to old age, he can die; and even before 70 years of age, a person who dies, dies of natural death, because he already dies of old age; because something (when he reaches a certain age), something has to stop working for the person to die; and some problem that arises causes the heart to stop working and the person dies. From a certain age onwards it is counted as natural death or death due to old age.

Now, at what age would our brother Branham have died, if he was going to die of old age? We don’t know. But he said: “I will not die old, of old age, without Him being here. Unless I die in an accident or something else.”

He had to leave, because everything that had to be fulfilled in him had already been fulfilled, and God had reflected everything that He had to reflect through him; and He had reflected His Church in him, and had reflected all His Program that He would carry out in this end time also; and He also reflected in him the one He carried out in past ages. In other words, a man in whom God reflected all the past ages of His Church, and the Age of the Cornerstone, and the messengers were also reflected in him.

So notice the mighty prophet who was the forerunner of the Second Coming of Christ: a mighty prophet that God sent to the human race in North America. So powerful that he once said that if the American nation had received Christ at the time of his ministry —before 1959—, the Millennium would already be on Earth by that time.23 Now, notice the powerful prophet that God sent as a forerunner of the Second Coming of Christ.

We have seen: “THE LIFE OF THE FORERUNNER AND HIS MESSAGE.”

There are still more things that can be said about the forerunner and his Message.

Now, let no one take it the wrong way that he failed to fulfill his commission, his mandate, to go to the Pentecostals to preach; let no one take it the wrong way. He didn’t understand very well his position as a prophet, his ministry; we can say that he was still a child, he was still as a child in the ministerial field; a child-prophet spiritually speaking.

And he failed; but he failed without intending to fail, he failed involuntarily; for his heart’s desire was to go, but the circumstances surrounding him caused him to become discouraged and fail in this case. But all in all, there was no prophet in any of the seven gentile Church ages like Reverend William Marrion Branham; he and Saint Paul have been the greatest prophets that Christ has sent to His Church during the seven gentile Church ages.

So we don’t look at the faults that he may have had, but we look at the powerful manifestation that God had in him and the great blessing that was his presence here on Earth, and the Message that he brought to us from the Lord Jesus Christ to prepare the people to receive the Second Coming of Christ.

And as he said that the Second Coming of Christ would be, so must be the fulfillment of it in this end time, in the Last Day, in the Age of the Cornerstone and Dispensation of the Kingdom:

196 But when our Lord appears here on earth, He’ll be riding on a snow-white horse. And He’ll be completely, fully, the Emmanuel, the Word of God incarnate in a Man.”

This is how the Coming of Christ must be: in a veil of flesh of the end time. But that veil of flesh will not be the Lord Jesus Christ, but it will only be the veil of flesh where Jesus Christ, the Angel of the Covenant, will be manifested in Holy Spirit making known to us all these things that must happen soon. This was what William Marrion Branham foreran, the forerunner of the Second Coming of Christ.

It has been a very great privilege for me to be with you tonight testifying to you of: THE LIFE OF THE FORERUNNER AND HIS MESSAGE (which he brought to the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ).

“THE LIFE OF THE FORERUNNER AND HIS MESSAGE.”

We believe the Message of the forerunner of the Second Coming of Christ. And if anyone doesn’t know him: William Marrion Branham is the Elijah who was to come in the fourth manifestation of Elijah, forerunning the Second Coming of Christ.

May the blessings of Jesus Christ, the Angel of the Covenant, be upon each one of you and upon me also; and may we all soon be transformed and raptured in this Last Day; and may you continue having a night full of the blessings of our beloved Lord Jesus Christ. And may you continue to have a happy Christmas season, and a prosperous 1998.

May God bless you and keep you; and with us again Felix Caro to continue and end this evening.
