Good evening, beloved friends and brethren present. It is a great blessing for me to be with you in this year 1998, in this first month of the year, the month of January, to share with you some moments of fellowship around the Word of God this evening, and thus to know the Divine Program relevant to our time, which is promised to be revealed to all the children of God who will be living in this end time.
For which I want to read in Genesis, chapter 37, verses 1 and on, where it says:
“And Jacob dwelt in the land wherein his father was a stranger, in the land of Canaan.
These are the generations of Jacob. Joseph, being seventeen years old, was feeding the flock with his brethren; and the lad was with the sons of Bilhah, and with the sons of Zilpah, his father’s wives: and Joseph brought unto his father their evil report.
Now Israel loved Joseph more than all his children, because he was the son of his old age: and he made him a coat of many colours.
And when his brethren saw that their father loved him more than all his brethren, they hated him, and could not speak peaceably unto him.
And Joseph dreamed a dream, and he told it his brethren: and they hated him yet the more.”
May God bless His Word in our hearts and allow us to understand It.
Our subject for this occasion is: “JOSEPH’S COAT.”
Jacob made this coat for his son Joseph, in various colors. This young man was about 17 years old, and was the son he had through his wife Rachel, whom he married. Although later he had been given the sister, but later managed to obtain (by working seven more years), he managed to obtain Rachel1; and through Rachel, when Jacob was already old, he had this son and named him Joseph2.
Joseph is the son that Jacob wished to have through his wife Rachel, the woman he loved very much; and through this wife of his we can see that he obtained this son. He named him Joseph, which means ’the one who adds’ or ’fruitful’, and we find that this was the first child through Rachel.
And because Rachel was the young woman whom Jacob married, the first son he was to have through her would be Jacob’s firstborn. And even though her father (Rachel’s father) did something wrong, trying to deceive Jacob, we find that even with all that, Jacob’s first son through Rachel became the one who obtained the Birthright from God, he obtained the Birthright Blessing; for when Jacob blessed Joseph, when Jacob was sick (he was already in bed to die in those days), we find that he blessed Joseph by blessing Joseph’s sons: Ephraim and Manasseh, and he placed the Birthright Blessing in them3.
Now see how Joseph is the one who has the Birthright Blessing; and since the Birthright Blessing is a double blessing, it is a double portion blessing, Joseph received a double blessing: his sons Ephraim and Manasseh being blessed.
With that blessing given to Ephraim and Manasseh, Joseph obtained that Birthright Blessing, for he obtained that blessing of a double portion; and for that reason is that Joseph has two tribes in the midst of the Hebrew people, which are the tribe of Ephraim and the tribe of Manasseh.
Ephraim and Manasseh, notice, they also represent: Ephraim represents the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, he represents the gentiles, and Manasseh represents the Hebrew people. Here is the earthly Israel and the heavenly Israel represented in Joseph: in Ephraim and Manasseh, Joseph’s sons.
And notice how in these two sons of Joseph the name of Jacob, of Israel, would be perpetuated, as Jacob said4. And now, notice, through the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ and through the Hebrew people, the name of Jacob, that is, the name of Israel, will be perpetuated. And the Scripture says, and Jacob said, that he shall bless Israel in in them5.
And now, we find that through Joseph’s sons, the Birthright Blessing is manifested on Earth.
That is why the blessing for the glorious Millennial Kingdom falls upon the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ and also upon the Hebrew people; and that is why Christ will be with His Church reigning from the land of Israel, from Jerusalem, which will be the capital of the world; and there will also be the Hebrews, and there will be 144,000 Hebrews with Christ, who will be serving Christ and His Church during the glorious Millennial Kingdom.
That is why for the end time, just as Christ has been calling the members of His Mystical Body of believers, whose names are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life since before the foundation of the world, for the Last Day He will also call 144,000 Hebrews which are written in the Book of God, and they will receive Christ, they will receive the Second Coming of Christ, and then they will understand what the First Coming of Christ was.
Now, the Coming of Christ, both the First Coming and His Second Coming, are represented in Joseph. Joseph is the perfect type of the First Coming of Christ and the Second Coming of Christ; Christ and the things that He would do both in His First Coming and His Second Coming were reflected in him.
And notice how Jacob made Joseph a coat of various colors; and this coat of various colors, notice, it has a very important meaning in type and figure, because this coat of Joseph, which is testified of here in the Scripture, speaks of a Divine Covenant.
Just as Joseph had a coat of different colors, now we find that, since this speaks of the colors of the rainbow, this speaks of the Divine Covenant; and our Joseph, who is our Lord Jesus Christ, we find that He has the seven colors of the rainbow; and that is why throughout the Scripture we find these colors of the rainbow manifested.
For example, we have in Ezekiel these colors of the rainbow, which were seen by the prophet when he saw the glory of God manifested; and he saw these colors of the rainbow upon…, from the loins to here, upward, and from the loins downward6.
And now, notice how these things that are seen in the Bible have a very great meaning in the Divine Program, which is then fulfilled in the midst of God’s people.
Now let’s see in Revelation, chapter 4: verses 1 and on, it says:
“After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter.
And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne.
And he that sat was to look upon like a jasper and a sardine stone: and there was a rainbow round about the throne, in sight like unto an emerald.”
Now see how here around the Throne, where God is sitting, there is a rainbow around the Throne, and this rainbow is like the emerald. And that is why when God made a Covenant with Noah, God told Noah (after the flood), He said: “I will put my bow on the clouds.”
Now, see how the rainbow that we can see when it is raining and at the same time it is sunny, that rainbow represents the rainbow that is around the Throne of God in Heaven. And being type and figure of that rainbow, the rainbow being the Divine Covenant, we find that for that reason the rainbow that we see in the time of rain when at the same time it is sunny, it is the Covenant that God made with Noah, that He would not destroy this Earth with rain, with water again, He would not destroy the human race with another flood of water.
Therefore, if a destruction is to come upon the human race, it cannot be with water, but then it has to be with fire, because God already said He would not do it with water any more.
In chapter 9 of Genesis, here is this promise and this Divine Covenant; it says in chapter 9, verse 9 and on:
“And I, behold, I establish my covenant with you, and with your seed after you…”
And verse 11, says:
“And I will establish my covenant with you, neither shall all flesh be cut off any more by the waters of a flood; neither shall there any more be a flood to destroy the earth.
And God said, This is the token of the covenant which I make between me and you and every living creature that is with you, for perpetual generations:
I do set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a token of a covenant between me and the earth.
And it shall come to pass, when I bring a cloud over the earth, that the bow shall be seen in the cloud:
And I will remember my covenant, which is between me and you and every living creature of all flesh; and the waters shall no more become a flood to destroy all flesh.
And the bow shall be in the cloud; and I will look upon it, that I may remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is upon the earth.
And God said unto Noah, This is the token of the covenant, which I have established between me and all flesh that is upon the earth.”
And here we can see how God says that He would place His bow in the clouds and over the clouds when the clouds would come; and that bow would be seen, the rainbow; and God would see it, and also human beings would see that rainbow; and that is the sign of the Divine Covenant: that there will not be another flood to destroy every human being.
And now, look, because God says: “I will put my bow”, then when we go to the Throne of God in Heaven, in the Most Holy Place of the Temple which is in Heaven, we find that the rainbow is around the Throne. And now, see how these colors of the rainbow are very significant, because they speak of the Divine Covenant for human beings.
From age to age we have been seeing that the Covenant of God under the Blood of Christ has been manifested, and from age to age the Word of God has come to the people of God, and a color of the rainbow has been manifested in each of the ages of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ.
See what the forerunner of the Second Coming of Christ says; and now notice where God reflects and places those colors of the rainbow, of the rainbow that is in Heaven, see how He places them now in His Church from age to age. It says…
Now, we need to know that God is Light. Now, we have… The forerunner of the Second Coming of Christ says, quoting here what the prophet Ezekiel saw… Ezekiel had this vision of the glory of God manifested, just as John the apostle could see this great vision of the manifested glory of God.
Now, let’s see here, on page 35 of the message “Revelation, chapter 4, part 2”; page 35 says7:
“Now let’s take another one. Both Ezekiel and John saw Him in the mystery of His colors and Light, and called It a ‘amber color.’ John later… You that puts…you’re putting down the Scriptures, First John 1:5 to 7. John, later (and he was on the isle of Patmos about three years when he wrote the Book) (that is, when he wrote the book of Revelation), when he come back, an old man in his nineties (for that time John, notice, when he returned, being about 90 years old, he says), in First John 1:5 and 7, he said, ‘God is Light.’ John had an experience, he had seen Him and he knowed that He was Light, Light, Eternal Light; not cosmic light, not lamp light, electric light, sunlight, but Eternal Light! Oh, how I love Him. ‘God is Light.’
Notice, we’re going to start back now and see where we’re at. On the 3rd verse yet, aren’t we? Are we going to get It? I hope. All right:
‘…he …was to look upon as jasper and sardius stone: and there was a rainbow…about the throne, in the sight like unto an emerald. (Yellowish-green.) (brother Branham says)’ Now, ‘rainbow,’ you notice it was a rainbow. Let’s go back in Genesis 9 and find out, in Genesis 9:13. And we’ll find back here the ‘rainbow,’ when a rainbow first appeared. Genesis the 9th chapter, and we will begin at the 13th verse, Genesis 9:13. All of you like This? (Now…) Oh, I love It! I just don’t like It, I love It! Look:
‘I do set my bow in the clouds, and it shall be for a token (Watch!), token of a covenant betwixt me and the earth.
What? ‘Betwixt Me and Noah’? No. ‘Betwixt Me and the earth.’
And it shall come to pass, when I bring a cloud (or clouds) over the earth, that the bow shall be seen in the cloud (or in the cloud):
And I will remember my covenant, which—which is betwixt me and you…’
Now He come back to His covenant betwixt them, but the rainbow covenant… See, the covenant was life for Noah, that He spared him, but the covenant that God made with Himself was a rainbow, that He would not… Now, I’ll show you what Noah’s covenant was with God, in a minute. But this here was God’s Own covenant with Himself (that is, the rainbow was the Covenant of God with whom? With Himself), amen, a rainbow.
Now, we find out that a covenant then is a ’token,’ a token. God said it was a ’token’ here, didn’t He? See?
‘I… set my… I do set my bow in the clouds, (That’s after the destruction of the world, destroyed by water; all flesh, besides Noah—Noah, was destroyed.) and it shall be for a token of a covenant between me and the earth.’
Not ‘Me and the world.’ The world’s a ‘kosmos.’ See? But this is ‘between me and the earth.’ God said, ‘I made that earth. And I so evilly entreated it, that I just turned it upside down and flashed her to pieces. And—and I oughtn’t to have done it, maybe.’ He said, ‘I—I was even sorry, it was such a horrible thing.’
What do you think it will be when He comes in His anger now?”
Now let’s move on to page 38, where it says:
“Same thing that John saw: Jesus, God’s accepted covenant surrounding in the heavens. And around about Him was a rainbow around about the Throne, in the sight like an emerald, amberish-green Light around the Throne.”
And let’s continue. Further down it says:
“Now, if you notice, seven. Watch. Seven rainbows… seven colors, I mean, seven-color rainbow. That meant seven bows! Seven bows, seven churches reflecting seven lights, each light wrapped into the other one. It started off with red, red. After red come orange, which is a reflection of red. After orange was… after—after orange come yellow, which is red and orange mixed together, makes yellow. Then green. Green and blue makes black. Then come indigo. And then from indigo come violet, which is part of blue. Hallelujah! Don’t you see? God, in His seven-colored rainbow, His covenant that He made, a covenant that through Seven Church Ages, the seven colors, He would save the earth. What would He do? Remember, He made it with the earth, His color. But now watch. This rainbow only, horizontally, just covers (in a bow) one half the earth (in other words, being a bow, it only covers half of the Earth, because a bow is the half of a circle). That’s all Noah’s rainbow colored, just… covered, just half the earth. It was in a arch, that’s all you can see. But when John saw Him in His emerald color, He surrounded the whole Throne of God. The half has never yet been told. He covered… He just… the earth just makes an arch, it’s just a half of it; that’s the church ages.
But when John saw Him in this amber color, the amber color, He surrounded and covered around like a halo. A halo! A halo of amber color, It surrounded His being! See? One color, one God over all, through all, and in all, but there is Seven Church Ages.
Watch a great diamond. Used to find them… you can find them in Africa laying on the streets. You’re daresn’t to keep one, ’cause it isn’t cut. You got one that isn’t cut, they’ll penitentiary you for it right now, and give you a lifetime sentence for keeping it. You’ve got, turn it in as soon as you find it. Now, they take this diamond… Oh, it’s a hard thing. I’ve seen a big forty-ton grinder standing up like this, they pour that bluestone in there, grind it around, it mashes that rock into just like ashes (the blue stones that they break in the machines), but it won’t mash the diamond. That forty-ton hanging on a swivel, up here, rolling around with them big cogs like that, just crushing that rock to pieces; but a diamond will go right through it, it’ll move that forty-ton casting. Oh! When it crushes out and comes down through a sifter, sifts down the other sifters, washes down and then finally goes on a long runway.”
Now, here we can see that it tells us about this great diamond; and the Great Diamond is Christ in His First Coming and in His Second Coming. And when you place a great diamond cut correctly and you place light on it, it produces what? The seven colors of the rainbow.
“Then when they cut it, it’s to reflect the fiery colors of its carat, and it’ll reflect seven colors, also. Oh, how that Jesus…
Oh, you might have a lot of money, you might own a fleet of Cadillacs, you might be a pastor of some great big morgue or a cathedral of something, you might be a bishop or an archbishop, but, oh, brother, when you find that Jewel, that Diamond, a man sells all his wealth he’s got, gives it away, everything else.
Look at the sleeping virgin. Oh, what did she do? She had to sell something in order to buy her Oil. What did she have to sell? Her old creeds and denominations and things. She sold out all she had in order to find Christ, Christ, that great Jewel. Jesus, that body…”
Now see how that Great Diamond is Christ in both His First Coming and His Second Coming. He goes on to say:
“He let the rainbow Light of His Seven Church Ages flash upon me, to know that He was wounded for my transgressions.
There’s your seven-colored rainbow.”
Now see how Christ has been reflected in the seven stages or ages of the gentile Church, and the Divine Covenant has been manifested from age to age in every color of the divine rainbow, the rainbow that is around the Throne of God. But being only a bow, that is half of a circle; and in Heaven, the circle is complete with the seven colors of the rainbow. During the seven stages or ages of the gentile Church, not even half has been said; and that is why for the Last Day it is required, after the seven stages or ages of the gentile Church, an eternal age is required: the Age of the Cornerstone.
If you take a stone cut in the shape of a pyramid and apply light to it, a light bulb, you will find that it reflects the seven colors of the rainbow; that is, the prism produces the seven colors of the rainbow. And so it is for our age, where the seven colors of the rainbow will be manifested at the same time, and the full circle will be manifested in our age.
Now, let’s continue reading here, it says8:
“But when John saw Him here, what was it? The day of redeeming was over. It was all over, so he seen Him back in His original condition, an amber color. Not only just half the world, it can only… the sun, can only shines on half the world at a time, see, as it goes around. But when John saw Him, He was sitting to look upon as jasper and sardius stone, amber colors; mix the two together, you got amber. ’And a amber color around the Throne!’ Oh, my! Oh, I—I tell you, that just… we could just go on and on.
Seven Spirits, seven colors, seven church ages, seven ministers (that is, the seven ministries of the seven angels), seven lights, everything’s in a seven. God is perfect in ’seven.’ God worked six days; seventh day, He rested. The world will exist six thousand years, and the seventh thousand is the Millennium. (Who says that here? Our brother Branham).
Notice, in a half circle, ‘half’s not yet been known.’ Now, surely these things represent something.”
So during the seven ages, since there was a color of the rainbow and it was only a bow, which is half a circle, not even half was said in each age of the gentile Church. But for the Age of the Cornerstone, since it will have the seven colors of the rainbow and will have it in the full circle…, because He in His manifestation of the Last Day will be manifesting His seven colors of the rainbow…
Now, it says:
“…He had told Abraham that He would make a covenant with him, an everlasting covenant.”
And further down says:
“Swearing by Himself that He would confirm this covenant. Amen. Oh! Whew! Sware by it, He would ‘preserve the Seed of Abraham.’ What is the Seed of Abraham to the Gentile? The baptism of the Holy Spirit, a Seed of Abraham. Swore by Himself, ‘I’ll raise them, every one, up. I’ll give them Eternal Life and place them back here on the earth.’”
Now we can see…:
“So we see Him in the circle bow of green, amber color. This greenish, what does green represent? Life. Green is the evergreen, always stays green, is life. What does it mean? That God has promised, as He took a oath back there in Genesis, that He ‘would no…’ (Put the rainbow in the sky.) that He ’would no more destroy this world by water.’ He also takes His oath and swears by Himself that all the Seed of Abraham He’ll raise up, and this world will stand all of its shaking judgments. The judgments we’re going through on the future lessons we got coming, will show you where this world will belch and turn into volcanics, and blow to pieces, and upside down and everything. But He swears by Himself that He’ll not destroy it, but He’ll smooth her off again and put His children on the earth for that Millennium.”
Now look at all that is going to happen. And even with the divine judgments, the world, the planet Earth as a planet, will not be destroyed but will be reconditioned, will be prepared for the glorious Millennial Kingdom.
Volcanoes are going to be erupting, and also atomic and hydrogen bombs, and other bombs, will also be in action during the time of the great tribulation at different times, to produce that divine judgment that is promised for that time; and with that divine judgment the Earth will be conditioned for the glorious Millennial Kingdom.
And now you see how Joseph’s garment, Joseph’s coat, tells us about these colors of the rainbow and tells us about this Divine Covenant which is represented or contained in the circle with the seven colors of the rainbow which is around the Throne there in Heaven.
And now you see how there in Heaven, in the Most Holy Place of the Temple which is in Heaven, there is also one sitting on the Throne: chapter 5, verse 1 and on, it says:
“And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne a book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals.”
Then, we find that Christ, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, who is also the Lamb of God, after a person was asked to come forward and take that Book… It says:
“And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, Who is worthy to open the book, and to loose the seals thereof?”
In other words, a person was asked to come forward and take that Book and open the Seals. It says:
“And no man in heaven, nor in earth, neither under the earth, was able to open the book, neither to look thereon.
And I wept much, because no man was found worthy to open and to read the book, neither to look thereon.
And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof.
And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth.
And he came and took the book out of the right hand of him that sat upon the throne.”
And now, you see how Christ takes the little Book or Book of the Seven Seals, which is in the right hand of God, which is the Title Deed, the Lamb’s Book of Life, and it is sealed and locked in the right hand of the one sitting on the Throne; and around the Throne is the rainbow, but in – not half a circle, but the full circle. And see how where the Title Deed is, the Book of Seven Seals, the rainbow is also there around the Throne.
Different portions of the Lamb’s Book of Life, that is, the Book of Seven Seals, have been fulfilled from age to age; and for the Last Day, we find that the part that pertains to the Fifth Seal, Sixth Seal and Seventh Seal will be fulfilled.
The Seventh Seal is the Second Coming of Christ; and the elect of God are also under the Seventh Seal, the elect who will be living under the time of the Second Coming of Christ to see that Diamond —Christ in His Second Coming— reflecting the seven colors of the rainbow that is around the Throne.
And now, see how, with the manifestation of Christ in Holy Spirit through each messenger in each age, a color of the rainbow was reflected in each age; but not the full circle, but half a circle, which is a bow; that is why it’s a rainbow, with a color for each age. And that is why during the seven stages or ages of the gentile Church they could not be transformed, because they had only one color of the rainbow; every age had one color of the rainbow, and that is why they did not have all seven colors of the Divine Covenant.
But for the end time there will be an age, and it is the Age of the Cornerstone, where the seven colors of the rainbow will be manifested, in the Coming of Jesus Christ in Holy Spirit to His Church in the Age of the Cornerstone and Dispensation of the Kingdom; and that is the age that will have the people who will be transformed and raptured in the Last Day, because they will be under the Covenant of the rainbow which is around the Throne there in Heaven; and they will be reflected, the seven colors of the rainbow being manifested in the Age of the Cornerstone, as each color of the rainbow was manifested in each of the ages of the gentile Church, of the seven ages of the gentile Church.
And now notice how the rainbow comes with its seven colors for the Last Day; just as the rainbow came in one color for each age, and it was at the Coming of Jesus Christ in Holy Spirit, because He is the one who has the seven colors of the rainbow; and in each age He manifested one color with the manifestation that He had in each age through the messenger of each age, where He carried out the Work of each age.
It says, notice, he says [Revelation 10:1]:
“And I saw another mighty angel come down from heaven, clothed with a cloud: and a rainbow was upon his head…”
Now see how this Mighty Angel comes with the rainbow over His head, that is, He comes with the full circle of the rainbow.
“…and his face was as it were the sun, and his feet as pillars of fire:
And he had in his hand a little book open: and he set his right foot upon the sea, and his left foot on the earth,
And cried with a loud voice, as when a lion roareth: and when he had cried, seven thunders uttered their voices.”
Now we can see here the Mighty Angel, Jesus Christ, coming with the seven colors of the rainbow and with the little Book open in His hand. He is coming to His Church at the Last Day to bring the Title Deed, the Lamb’s Book of Life, the Book of Seven Seals opened, and place it in His Church, and manifest His seven rainbow colors consecutively.
That is why in the Age of the Cornerstone the Voice of Christ speaks consecutively with these Seven Thunders. It is the Voice of Christ as the Lion of the tribe of Judah, that is why He cries as when a lion roars; and when He had cried, seven thunders uttered their voices.
It is the Voice of Christ speaking to us in the Last Day and making known to us all these things that must happen soon; it is the Voice of Christ this Great Voice of Trumpet or Last Trumpet, which is the same Great Voice that speaks here in Revelation, chapter 10; when He speaks, it says that He roars or cries as when a lion roars and seven thunders utter their voices.
Here we have the Voice of Christ as a Lion, speaking in the Last Day, in the Age of the Cornerstone and Dispensation of the Kingdom; just as we had the Voice of Christ in each age as a Lamb speaking in each age, where there was the manifestation of each of the colors of the rainbow, one color in each age.
Now, here Christ comes: He descends with the seven colors of the rainbow, and He descends also with the little Book open in His hand; and He comes to His Church in the Age of the Cornerstone and Dispensation of the Kingdom, to manifest and show the seven colors of the rainbow. Manifest them where? In His Church, in the Age of the Cornerstone. And that is why you take a crystal cornerstone or a diamond, and you apply light to it (a diamond that is cut), you apply a light bulb to it, and it produces the seven colors of the rainbow; there we have those colors of the prism manifested. And that is what Christ does in the Age of Cornerstone.
And so the things that could not be known, that were not known in the seven stages or ages of the gentile Church, the mysteries pertaining to the Last Day, will be revealed in the Age of the Cornerstone; because in the seven ages, with only one color in each age, they could not know half of all of God’s Program, of that Eternal Program of God and of that Program that He would be manifesting in the Age of the Cornerstone, for the call of God’s elect and transformation of God’s elect in the Age of the Cornerstone and Dispensation of the Kingdom.
Now we can see the mystery of JOSEPH’S COAT.
See how this coat of Joseph has a greater meaning than one can see with the naked eye, because Joseph represents who? Christ in His First Coming and in His Second Coming.
And that coat of Joseph, see how it shows us the seven colors of the rainbow, it shows us the colors of the rainbow; and by showing us the colors of the rainbow it shows us the Covenant of God, which Christ is the one who brings for the sons and daughters of God, for eternal life of all the sons and daughters of God, for all the descendants of Abraham: both for the descendants of Abraham according to the flesh and for the descendants of Abraham according to the faith; the earthly descendants of Abraham: the Hebrew people, and the heavenly descendants of Abraham, which is the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Notice how He will confirm the Covenant to the Hebrew people in the second part of the seventieth week at the Last Day, in other words, the remaining three and half years of the seventieth week, because the first three and half years of the seventieth week were already fulfilled in the First Coming of Christ.
Everything that is promised for the Coming of Christ, we find that just as the Coming of Christ has two parts: His First Coming and His Second Coming, the things promised for the Coming of Christ, the things that were not fulfilled in His First Coming, will be fulfilled in His Second Coming.
And now, see how what was represented, what was typified in Joseph, regarding the Coming of the Messiah, regarding the Coming of Christ, for His First Coming and for His Second Coming… They hated Him in His First Coming, and sold Him for thirty pieces of silver, and He was crucified; all that was represented in Joseph.
And then we find that Joseph was placed second on the throne of pharaoh; and Jesus Christ, when He ascended to Heaven victorious, was placed on the Throne of God, He sat at the right hand of God, and all power was given to Him in Heaven and on Earth9, and He received a new name when He victoriously ascended to Heaven and sat on the Throne of God; just as Joseph, when he ascended to the throne of the pharaoh or he ascended there in the kingdom of the pharaoh, and became second in the kingdom of the pharaoh: he received a new name, Zaphenath-paneah, and the seal of the king, of the pharaoh, was placed upon him10.
We always find the name on the seal. And we find that Christ by being placed on the Throne of God, at the right hand of God in Heaven, we find that He received a new name; and being represented in Joseph receiving a new name, we find that, for the Second Coming of Christ, just as Joseph revealed himself to his brothers…: he appeared as a gentile for them, he spoke to them in a gentile language and all these things11. And when he saw Benjamin, his heart and his whole being were moved12. And even when he let them go, he brought them back, because there was Benjamin13. He gave Benjamin a double portion (and now…), a double portion of food when they were eating too14. And then he revealed himself to them and told them that he was Joseph15.
Now see how Joseph had two names: the one he received when he was born among his brothers, and then the new name he received when the pharaoh gave him that new name. He was Joseph and he was Zaphenath-paneah; Zaphenath-paneah for the gentiles and Joseph for the Hebrews.
Now, notice how Christ revealed Himself to them, or in this reflection it was Christ reflecting Himself to the Hebrew people, typifying all of this there in Joseph’s life.
Now, this same thing that was seen reflected there is the same thing that for the end time has to be happening, according to the Divine Program. Nothing else can happen, but what was already reflected in the past; and this is what is promised to the Hebrew people for this end time in which we are living.
This is what the Hebrew people are expecting to happen, and this is what God will be fulfilling for the Hebrew people in this end time; it will be this manifestation of Christ.
When the forerunner of the Second Coming of Christ speaks to us about the 144,000 Hebrews, he tells us that Joseph’s case is about to be fulfilled. He says: “Now…” “Why did the Jews reject…?”
Let’s see here… Here is what Joseph (Jesus) will say to them [The Ages, pages 35-36]16:
“…Jesus then comes and presents Himself to the 144,000.”
Now he says:
“Even so will Jesus speak peace and love to them.
Why did the Jews reject Jesus? God was in it all. It was the only way that He could bring out the Gentile bride. He died on the cross to preserve the life of the Gentile Church.
Now these 144,000 are not in the bride. In Revelation 14:4 they are called virgins and they follow the Lamb whithersoever He goeth. The fact that they have not defiled themselves with women shows that they are eunuchs (Matthew 19:12). The eunuchs were the keepers of the bridal chambers. They were attendants. Notice that they do not sit in the throne but are before the throne. No, they are not in the bride, but will be in the glorious millennial reign.
We then see that when these last of Israel have been joined in love to the Lord, and the enemy has been destroyed, God will prepare His holy mountain, His new Garden of Eden for the bride and His and her attendants for the thousand year honeymoon upon the earth. As Adam and Eve were in the garden and did not finish out the thousand years, now Jesus our last Adam, and His Eve (True Church) will fulfill all the plan of God.
Oh, how the Bible repeats itself. The scene of Joseph and his brethren is about to be repeated, for Jesus is coming soon.
And as we leave the type of Joseph, there is one more thing I want to bring to your attention about this end time. You recall that as Joseph stood before his brethren when Benjamin was not with them he spoke through an interpreter though he knew the Hebrew well. He spoke to his brethren in another tongue.”
Now we can see all this mystery of Joseph making himself known to his brothers, type and figure of Christ making Himself known to His brothers: the 144,000 Hebrews who in this Last Day will be waiting for the Coming of Christ.
They do not know that Christ already came two thousand years ago, they do not know that the Messiah was Jesus; and for the Last Day they will be receiving the Coming of the Messiah, the Coming of Christ, and that will be the second manifestation of the Word coming in the Last Day, and they will say: “This is the one we are waiting for.”
And when they see this, Moses and Elijah will be there, in other words, the ministries of Moses and Elijah will be there manifested for that great blessing that the Hebrew people will receive; because the Coming of the Son of Man is with His Angels, and His Angels are the ministries of Moses and Elijah.
In the message “The Rapture”, page 34 and 35, the forerunner of the Second Coming of Christ, our brother Branham, speaks to us about the Coming of Christ and the Hebrew people receiving Him, and he says: “And there will be Moses and Elijah”; in other words, the ministries of Moses and Elijah manifested for that great event in the midst of these 144,000, who will receive Him in this Last Day; just as from age to age the elect of each age have received Christ manifested in each age, through the manifestation of Christ through the messenger of each age; and just as the elect of God in the Age of the Cornerstone receive Christ manifested in this Last Day.
And so 144,000 Hebrews will also receive Him; and Joseph’s coat will be in full fulfillment, in all the symbolism represented by Joseph’s coat of various colors.
Because notice that Christ, the Mighty Angel, descends from Heaven with the rainbow around His head: He comes with the Covenant; and He is going to confirm it to the Hebrew people in that period of time, of the second part of the seventieth week. And He also confirms His covenant to God’s elect from among the gentiles to be transformed and raptured in this Last Day, and to have the new body that He has promised for each of us.
That is why, just as Christ in the First Coming of Christ was confirming the Covenant to the Hebrew people… That Great Diamond, Christ, was there and the Light was being reflected in Him. He said17: “I am the Light of the world”; there was the Great Diamond reflecting the seven colors of the rainbow. But He was rejected by the Hebrew people, therefore the Hebrew people rejected the Divine Covenant; but in this end time they will receive the Second Coming of Christ, they will receive their Joseph (who is also our Joseph) and will receive the Divine Covenant, and 144,000 will enter the Program of God relevant to the seventh millennium.
Now we can see the mystery of “JOSEPH’S COAT.” It was not just any coat, it was a coat that represented something very important of the Divine Program; and see how in that coat the colors of the rainbow are also represented, that is, the colors of the Divine Covenant.
It has been a great blessing for me to be with you tonight testifying to you of “JOSEPH’S COAT”, that coat of various colors, in which the rainbow is reflected with its seven colors and where we can see that in Joseph, who represents Christ, is that the seven colors of the rainbow are.
And that is why, from age to age… In His First Coming, the seven colors of the rainbow were there. That is also why when John and Peter and James saw Him on Mount Transfiguration, it says that His garments were seen shining, and His face was seen as the sun18. That was the same as in Revelation, chapter 1, John saw, and in Revelation also, chapter 10, the apostle Saint John saw. It is the Coming of the Angel of the Covenant, of Jesus Christ, with the seven colors of the rainbow; with the updated JOSEPH’S COAT, and the seven colors of the rainbow.
In each age, in the manifestation of Christ in each age, there was a color, because it was a partial manifestation for each age. And now, for the Age of the Cornerstone, it is that Christ comes in Holy Spirit manifested with His seven colors of the rainbow, because those colors are contained in the Pillar of Fire.
The seven colors of the rainbow are contained in the light of the Shekinah, and only one cornerstone is required to reflect those seven colors of the rainbow. And there Christ, the Light of the world, manifests and shows the seven colors of the rainbow in this end time, for all the sons and daughters of God to enter the Divine Program for the Last Day, to be transformed and raptured in this end time.
May the blessings of Jesus Christ, the Angel of the Covenant, be upon each of you; and may He manifest in each of you and also in me the blessings contained in the seven colors of the rainbow, in the seven colors of that full circle of colors around the Throne which is in Heaven: manifest in you and me those blessings contained there, in that Divine Covenant; and may we all soon be transformed and have the new body, according to the divine promise; and may we be, according to that Divine Covenant, with eternal life for all eternity. In the Eternal Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen and Amen.
May God continue to bless you all, may God keep you; and with us again Miguel Bermudez Marin to finish our part. It will be to present Felix, and thus conclude our part tonight by thanking Christ for what Joseph’s coat represented.
May God bless you and keep you, and with us Miguel Bermudez Marin.
