The Latter Rain of the teaching that descends from Heaven

Good morning, children’s teachers. It is a great blessing for me to be with you on this occasion, to share some moments of fellowship around the Word of God and His Program relevant to our time in relation to children and teachers.

It says in Deuteronomy, chapter 32, verse 1 to 3:

“Give ear, O ye heavens, and I will speak; and hear, O earth, the words of my mouth.

My doctrine shall drop as the rain, my speech shall distil as the dew, as the small rain upon the tender herb, and as the showers upon the grass:

Because I will publish the name of the Lord: ascribe ye greatness unto our God.”

Here God speaks to us that His reasoning and His teaching, see, His teaching “will drop like rain,” and “will distill as the dew my reasoning,” says God.

Now, you see why when God speaks of the latter rain and the former rain, it is the Rain of the teaching: the Former Rain, the Rain of the teaching of the First Coming of Christ, under the preaching of the Gospel of Grace; and the Latter Rain, the Rain of the teaching of the Second Coming of Christ.

See, in Hosea, chapter 6, verse 1 to 3, he is talking about what? Of the Coming of Christ to the Hebrew people, and that is the Second Coming of Christ. It says:

“Come, and let us return unto the Lord: for he hath torn, and he will heal us; he hath smitten, and he will bind us up.

After two days will he revive us: in the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight.

Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the Lord: his going forth is prepared as the morning; and he shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter and former rain unto the earth.”

Notice how the Second Coming of Christ comes for the Hebrew people: it comes as the latter rain (that is the Rain of the teaching of the Second Coming of Christ) and the former rain (the teaching of the First Coming of Christ).

Because they will first recognize the Second Coming of Christ and then they will know what the First Coming of Christ has been; therefore they will know the Gospel of the Kingdom and they will also obtain the knowledge of what the Gospel of Grace is, which revolves around the First Coming of Christ. In other words, His Coming is like the latter and former rain. It says:

“…and he shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter and former rain unto the earth.”

You can see throughout the history of Christianity and Judaism (under the Law: Judaism: and Christianity under the Dispensation of Grace and under the Gospel of Grace), that with the Message of the teaching of the Gospel of Grace they have tried to convert the Hebrew people and have not been able to.

Saint Paul says that it will be when the fullness of the gentiles has entered in1, in other words, when the last of the elect of the Mystical Body of Christ has entered; and then the dead in Christ will resurrect first and we who are alive will be changed; because Christ leaves His Throne of Intercession in Heaven and claims that which He has redeemed with His precious Blood, and resurrects the dead in Christ and He will transform us who are alive, “and then all Israel will be saved.”

Before we leave, we will be here from 30 to 40 days in the new body; and by that time the Hebrew people will see what they are waiting for, but they will see it among the gentiles; as they saw their brother Joseph: among the gentiles, as king, as prince and ruler of Egypt.

And that will happen before the great tribulation begins and before we go to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb; and from then on, the whole Program that God has for the Hebrew people will continue.

But they, you see, have not received —the Hebrew people as a nation— anyone with the preaching of the Gospel of Grace. Why? Because that is the former rain, and here it says (and it is a prophecy):

“…and he shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter and former rain…”

They have gone to the Hebrew people with the Former Rain, but the promise is that He will go with the Latter and Former Rain; in other words, with the revelation of the Second Coming of Christ and also making known the revelation of the First Coming of Christ.

And now, the Rain of the teaching of the Word of God for the Dispensation of the Kingdom, we have seen that it is the Message of the Gospel of the Kingdom.

And now look how the prophet Jeremiah also speaks of the rain; in chapter 3, verse 3, he says:

“Therefore the showers have been withholden, and there hath been no latter rain; and thou hadst a whore’s forehead (and there he continues to enumerate)…”

This is for Israel, the Hebrew people. They have missed what? The Latter Rain; but they will receive it in this end time.

And now, in chapter 5, verse 24, we will see what it says there:

“Neither say they in their heart, Let us now fear the Lord our God, that giveth rain, both the former and the latter, in his season: he reserveth unto us the appointed weeks of the harvest.”

And in Ezekiel, chapter 34, verse 26, it says:

“And I will make them and the places round about my hill a blessing; and I will cause the shower to come down in his season; there shall be showers of blessing.”

And the Latter Rain is a rain of blessing for the gentile Church and then for the Hebrew people; just as the Former Rain of the First Coming of Christ has been a rain of teaching, of blessing, for all the sons and daughters of God among the gentiles, so is the Latter Rain of the teaching of the Second Coming of Christ a blessing.

Now, I don’t know if you have noticed that Elijah in his time ordered not to rain on the Earth, and he said2: “There shall not be rain nor even dew, on the Earth, but by my word.”

And now we can see that on Earth, the Rain of the teaching of the different stages or ages of the gentile Church, of the seven ages, has already ceased; as the manna had also ceased when Joshua is already with the people and they begin to eat from the food of the trees, from the fruits of the trees in the promised land3.

And now the Rain has stopped for the seven ages of the gentile Church, and now there will be no Rain but by the Word of the fifth Elijah: showers of the teaching of the Gospel of the Kingdom, the Latter Rain; and that is for the Age of the Cornerstone and Dispensation of the Kingdom. That is where the rain of blessing is for all the sons and daughters of God.

That is why He says4: “Come up hither.” No, the Rain is not going to go there, but rather: “Come up hither.” The Rain of the teaching will be where? In the Age of the Cornerstone, the age of the Rain of the teaching of the Word. And that is the Rain that also goes to our children, that Rain of teaching; rain of blessing for adults, for young people and also for children, who also need the Rain.

Look, if there is no rain on Earth, who is affected? The adults, the elderly, the young, and who else? The children too. But if there is rain, then the elderly, the adults, the young and the children benefit too.

And now, Christ said5: “If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink.” And now, notice, from age to age He has been giving to drink of His Holy Spirit, from age to age, by hearing, by receiving the Rain of the teaching; and so it is for our time too. And it is very important to know where He is giving to drink of the Rain of His Spirit and the Rain of His Word, the Latter Rain, relevant to this time.

The prophet Joel also spoke of the latter and former rain. See why, let’s see… We have seen that he speaks of the latter and former rain in Hosea, chapter 6, verse 1 to 3; and now let’s see in Joel, what the prophet Joel tells us about this Latter Rain promised in chapter 2, verse 23:

“Be glad then, ye children of Zion…”

And Zion is the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ. It also represents the Hebrew people, but in the maximum representation it pertains to the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, which is the spiritual Zion and also the heavenly Jerusalem. It says:

“…ye children of Zion, and rejoice in the Lord your God: for he hath given you the former rain moderately, and he will cause to come down for you the rain, the former rain, and the latter rain in the first month.

And the floors shall be full of wheat, and the vats shall overflow with wine and oil.

And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you.”

And notice, here it speaks of the restoration of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, and then it is also applied to the Hebrew people.

And now, see how the winepresses…, how the places will be filled with wheat, to…

“And the floors shall be full of wheat, and the vats shall overflow with wine and oil.”

The oil represents the Holy Spirit; the wine represents the stimulus by the revealed Word; the revealed Word causing, producing that stimulus in the sons and daughters of God. And the wheat represents whom? The children of God, the children of the Kingdom.

And now see how the wheat eras will be filled. Because of what? From the falling Rain, the Rain of the teaching. First the Former Rain falls during the seven stages or ages of the gentile Church, and then the Latter Rain falls in the Dispensation of the Kingdom and Age of the Cornerstone.

And just as the eras, the ages, each age is filled with the wheat, the sons and daughters of God, the Age of the Cornerstone is filled with the wheat of the sons and daughters of God.

Our age is an age that will be completely full; and when it is completely full, the door will be (what?) closed.

Well, look at all that is coming because of the Rain.

That is why you see vegetation, trees, you see fruit in the field, and you can eat. Even the animals are benefited; and so you can eat meat, and drink milk, and eat cheese, why? Because even animals are benefited, and then they produce for human beings. And all the trees as well; and that is why we can eat vegetables, we eat fruits, and so on, we can eat different things from the field. Why? Because there is water. And for there to be water there is rain.

See how God… Always, where there is no rain and where there is no water, they install an irrigation system; but look how God installed an irrigation system for the planet Earth, and it doesn’t cost anything for the human beings.

Now, God owns that irrigation system and can shut it off. Elijah in his time said: “There shall be no rain, nor any dew, but by my word.” The key to God’s watering system was shut off and the rain stopped. And that is type and figure of the spiritual Rain; it already ceased for the seven stages or ages of the gentile Church.

Therefore, teachers, for an age or dispensation that has already passed, they will have to be using the drip or drop system, because there is no Rain.

The Rain came from age to age through the manifestation of the Spirit of God in each messenger; and that Rain of the teaching was distributed to all the members of the Church of Jesus Christ: children, adults and young people were also taught; but there is no longer Rain but by the Word of Elijah, and that is for the Age of the Cornerstone and Dispensation of the Kingdom.

The Rain of the teaching of the Word of God, the Rain of the Latter teaching, the Rain of the teaching of the Second Coming of Christ, can only come through what?, through whom?, through the fifth Elijah. And then it passes to all teachers, to bring it to all the sons and daughters of God.

Because when there is rain, then you collect the rain, you collect the water…

Look, here we see Benjie “collecting Water.” He doesn’t need a bucket, but with a camera he collects Water; and then it is distributed. And so all those whose names are written where? In Heaven, in the Lamb’s Book of Life, receive that blessing.

Zechariah also speaks of that rain: in chapter 10, let’s see what it says here; verse 1 says:

“Ask ye of the Lord rain in the time of the latter rain.”

How about that? And there will be no Rain, but through the Word of Elijah. So it takes the Word of Elijah for that Rain to fall upon the human beings at the Last Day. And which is the rain? The Latter.

“Ask ye of the Lord rain in the time of the latter rain; so the Lord shall make bright clouds, and give them showers of rain, to every one grass in the field.”

And he continues speaking all that passage; he even speaks of the Cornerstone there in verse 4 and on.

And we can see how the people have asked for the Latter Rain… After the seven ages of the gentile Church everyone thought that everything was over and that there was no more Message from God, there was no more Rain from God; but look, the people have cried out, and God had made a promise that He would give the Latter Rain like in the beginning; as He gave the Former Rain, He would also give the Latter Rain.

And now, we have the Latter Rain of the teaching of the Gospel of the Kingdom, which revolves around the Second Coming of Christ as the Lion of the tribe of Judah, as King of kings and Lord of lords, in the Latter Age of the Cornerstone.

Nobody knew that age would come, and a good shower of the Rain of the teaching would come from God, by the Word of Elijah.

It was Elijah who said: “There shall be no rain on the Earth, but by my word.” And who is this man who talks like this? He is a prophet of God, in whom is a spirit of a prophet of the sixth dimension manifested in human flesh; and, you see, he was ordained by God to do all those things and that is why he did them.

And now, notice that there has been no Rain upon those who have been in the seven stages or ages of the gentile Church, which are the remnant of those ages; there has been no Rain upon them; because the last Rain that there was in the seven ages was the Rain of the teaching of the seventh age through the seventh angel messenger, the Reverend William Marrion Branham.

But now we have the promise of the Latter Rain. And now, in what age does that rain come? Well, in our age, the Age of the Cornerstone.

You have to be within that age to receive that Rain and be blessed; because it is a rain of blessing, to thus receive the faith to be changed and raptured in this end time.

And of that Rain… and that Rain is received by all the sons and daughters of God: elders, adults, young people and children too.

That is why, children’s teachers, you are very privileged, because you are teachers of children who have the promise that they would receive the Latter Rain; and you are passing on to them that Latter Rain of the teaching of the Gospel of the Kingdom, which revolves around the Second Coming of Christ.

And things that theologians have not yet been able to understand, now under the Rain of the Last Day’s teaching, under the Latter Rain, our children understand those things that have been so difficult for theologians to understand.

And now even our children understand, for the Scripture says in Daniel, chapter 12, that the wise shall understand. And that is for the last days, that they will understand the things that the prophet Daniel wanted to understand related to the Last Day.

Just as the wise of each age understood the Message of their age and received Christ as their Savior, the wise of our time —the youth, children and adults— will understand the Program of God for our time and will receive the blessing of God.

And we are called and gathered in this end time under the Latter and Former Rain (because we also have the teaching of what has been the First Coming of Christ), and we are prepared to be changed and raptured in this end time. Look at all the benefits that are in the Latter Rain.

And now the Latter Rain meets the Former Rain, and see how they are intertwined, and see how there is no contradiction between the Latter Rain and the Former Rain.

We have seen that you are teachers of none other than the children who would receive that Latter Rain, who would receive that rain of blessing from God.

It is a privilege to be a teacher on this Earth, of children in any school, but even more so —the blessing is greater— when you are a teacher of the children who would receive the Latter and the Former Rain. Those are the cubs of the Lion of the tribe of Judah, which receive that Latter Rain and also the Former Rain, because they also get the knowledge of what has been the First Coming of Christ and His Work of Redemption.

Now, we have seen that you are not just any teachers, but very special teachers because of the disciples God has given you: they are the cubs of the Lion of the tribe of Judah; and for that reason you are privileged.

Look, let’s see all the teachers that there are on Earth, and then have the kings of such a country choose (let’s say) seven or eight teachers: one for mathematics, one for languages, one for history, one for science, one for (what else is there, Miguel?) geography (There it is… Is that history, over there?), social studies, all those things; and for good manners and all that stuff; that (huh?)… humanities rules and so that they know how to sit at the table, know how to eat correctly, wash their hands before eating (and all those little things that are good for children to know)…; and those kings choose for their children that amount of teachers.

Now, who are the most privileged teachers in that country? Well, those teachers who are teaching the princes and princesses who will one day be kings in that nation; they are teaching the children of those kings. Those are the most privileged.

And now, you are the most privileged because you are teaching the sons and daughters of the King of kings and Lord of lords. See the great blessing that you have, which you must understand and appreciate, and thank Jesus Christ for that privilege and blessing.

So, teachers of the cubs of the Lion of the Tribe of Judah, know that you have a great privilege in being teachers of the cubs, of the Lion… (not just any lion) of the Lion of the Tribe of Judah, our beloved Lord Jesus Christ; to give them the spiritual food of the Word of our time, which is the Latter Rain; and it is also given and spoken to them of what has been the Former Rain of the First Coming of Christ and His Work of Redemption on Calvary’s Cross.

Teachers of the cubs of the Lion of the tribe of Judah: God bless you, God keep you; and always use you greatly in His Work. And may the group of the cubs of the Lion of the Tribe of Judah continue to increase, and may more groups of classes be opened, and may God continue to add more teachers to give classes to the cubs of the Lion of the Tribe of Judah at their level.

Well, may God continue to bless you. It was just a little greeting, but there is so much to talk about that the little greetings, well, ours, because sometimes they take 5 minutes, 15 minutes, half an hour, 1 hour…, and sometimes we go over 1 hour too.

So God bless you, God keep you; and onward in the work that God has given you to carry out, which is a blessing for all of you, teachers of the cubs of the Lion of the tribe of Judah.

May God bless and keep you, and I leave with us again Miguel Bermudez Marin.
