Good afternoon, young people, and also the adults and children who are present. May the blessings of Jesus Christ, our beloved Savior, be with all of you and with me also, and may He bless us this afternoon in this activity, in the next one as well and in the evening also; and may He give us of the Water of His Word and of His Spirit, and of the spiritual food, of the Manna, of His Word, and may He feed us in our soul.
Amos says, chapter 8, verses 11 and on:
“Behold, the days come, saith the Lord God, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the Lord:
And they shall wander from sea to sea, and from the north even to the east, they shall run to and fro to seek the word of the Lord, and shall not find it.
In that day shall the fair virgins and young men faint for thirst.
They that swear by the sin of Samaria, and say, Thy god, O Dan, liveth; and, The manner of Beersheba liveth; even they shall fall, and never rise up again.”
May God bless our souls with His Word and allow us to understand It.
This is a prophetic time of hunger and thirst to hear the Word of God.
Just as in every age and in every dispensation there was a hunger and thirst to hear the Word of God relevant to that age and to that dispensation, in this end time in which we live, we can look back and we can see where the Word of God, the spiritual food for the soul of human beings, was: It was in the messenger of every age and of every dispensation.
The Message for each dispensation was brought by the messenger of each dispensation as the spiritual food for the whole dispensation; and the messenger of each age delivered that Message in the age that he was allotted to live in.
That is why in Matthew, chapter 24, Jesus speaks about the faithful and wise servants; and He says in chapter 24, verse 42 to 47:
“Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.
But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up.
Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.
Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season?
Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.
Verily I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods (that is, He will place him as administrator, as steward, of all His goods).”
That is the promise here for the messenger who in the Last Day will be giving spiritual food at the time of the Coming of the Lord, at the time and fulfillment of the Second Coming of Christ. That faithful and wise servant, who will be in the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, is the faithful and wise blessed servant whom his Lord will place over all His goods.
Now, we had the first angel messenger, the first faithful and wise servant for the first age; but that age has already passed, and at that time the Second Coming of Christ was not fulfilled. And so we have passed from age to age during the Dispensation of Grace, and from messenger to messenger, and from Message of each messenger to the Message of the other messenger.
This is how the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ has been passing; and Christ in Holy Spirit has been manifested in His Church from age to age, in the messenger of each age, calling and gathering His elect of each age, and giving spiritual food to the sons and daughters of God of each age.
And now, for the Last Day, when the seven stages or ages of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ have already passed and God has sent His seven angel messengers for the seven ages of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, we find that we have reached a new age and a new dispensation: a new age apart from the seven ages of the gentile Church and a new dispensation: The Dispensation of the Kingdom.
And who is the faithful and wise servant placed there in the Age of the Cornerstone and Dispensation of the Kingdom with the spiritual food for the soul, with the Bread of eternal life, with the Word of God relevant to the Dispensation of the Kingdom and Age of the Cornerstone? That faithful and wise servant who is there, in the Age of the Cornerstone, giving that spiritual food, the Message of the Gospel of the Kingdom, the Message that revolves around the Second Coming of Christ, is the one that feeds the sons and daughters of God in the Mystical Body of Christ, in the Age of the Cornerstone, in this end time.
And this is the most important time of all times. This is the time when the whole world hungers to hear the Word of God relevant to this time, and is given the Message relevant to the past ages.
But for this Last Day there would be a group of God’s elect in the Age of the Cornerstone receiving that spiritual food through the faithful and wise servant, in the Age of the Cornerstone and Dispensation of the Kingdom.
And now, which is that people? It is the Latin American and Caribbean people; and that is where God places His elect. And we can say that 90 (or more) percent [90%], of the elect, are in that territory to form the Age of the Cornerstone; and that is why they are called and gathered in this end time with the Message of the Gospel of the Kingdom, which is the spiritual food for the soul of each of the children of God.
That is the hidden Manna that is promised in Revelation, chapter 2, verse 17, where it tells us:
“He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna…”
Where was the manna hidden in the temple? It was in the most holy place, in an urn or golden vessel; so God commanded Moses and Aaron, that they should take of the manna that fell from heaven, the manna that fell on the sixth day, and from that manna they should take a portion and place it in the most holy place. On that day manna fell for the sixth day and for the seventh day also.1
And now, God commanded to place in the most holy place, inside the ark of the covenant, in a golden vessel, manna2; and that is the hidden manna, because no person could see it, because no person could enter the most holy place, except Moses (on any day) and Aaron (once a year).
And now, we can see where the hidden manna is, and how that hidden manna there typifies the divine revelation of the Second Coming of Christ relevant to this end time, in the Most Holy Place of the spiritual Temple of Christ, which is the Age of the Cornerstone.
Because the seven stages or ages of the gentile Church represent the holy place of the temple which Moses built and of the temple which Solomon built; and the Age of the Cornerstone is represented in the most holy place.
And since it was there (in the most holy place) the hidden manna, that food that God gave to the Hebrew people, now it is in the Age of the Cornerstone (which is represented in the most holy place) where the hidden Manna is, the spiritual food for the soul: which is the Message of the Gospel of the Kingdom, which revolves around the Second Coming of Christ as the Lion of the tribe of Judah, as King of kings and Lord of lords, in His Reclaiming Work. And it is of this spiritual food that mankind hungers and thirsts.
And now, God is the one that feeds us in this end time through His Angel Messenger, who is the faithful and wise servant of the Last Day that gives us the Food in time, the Food that corresponds to this end time; and no one else has that Food, only the Angel of the Lord Jesus Christ in the Age of the Cornerstone.
No other age has that Food, because the Food of each age was already given by the messenger of each age; and there are no more messengers for the seven ages of the gentile Church, because they have already come and gone; and only the Angel of the Lord Jesus Christ, who is the prophet messenger of the Age of the Cornerstone and of the Dispensation of the Kingdom, remains for the Church of Jesus Christ.
It is the first occasion that the Church of Jesus Christ has a dispensational prophet messenger, the first occasion; and he comes with a dispensational Message as the hidden Manna, as the spiritual food that God had hidden, kept, for His elect for this end time, which no other human being ate in the past ages; that spiritual food that He would give us in this end time was only typified, represented in past ages and dispensations.
Now we are aware that this is the time of hunger and thirst in the soul of human beings to hear the Word of God; but, to us, God is feeding our soul with His Word in this end time.
See what it says about the faithful and wise servant:
“Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season?”
What Food? The Food of the Word of God. And now He asks who is that faithful and wise servant, to whom when his Lord shall come…:
“Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find (how?) so doing.”
Giving that spiritual food to the sons and daughters of God, that is, to the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ.
“Verily I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods.”
In other words, He will place him over all His goods; because in the Last Day, in the Age of the Cornerstone and Dispensation of the Kingdom, He will adopt him. And he will be the only messenger, after the Lord Jesus Christ, who would be adopted while alive; and all that was represented in the dispensational messengers and of different ages, in which was reflected what would be the adoption of the faithful and wise servant in the Last Day.
Now, we can see, for example: in the adoption of Jesus on Mount Transfiguration Moses and Elijah appeared speaking with Him, and His face shone like the sun (Jesus’); and God was there adopting Jesus; and He said: “This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye Him.”3
And in Deuteronomy, chapter 18, verses 15 to 18, or 19, it says: “The Lord your God will raise up unto you a prophet like me; him shall ye hear,” or “hear ye him.” Let’s read it as it is here:
“The Lord thy God will raise up unto thee a Prophet from the midst of thee, of thy brethren, like unto me; unto him ye shall hearken…”
And verse 18 to 19 says, of this same chapter 18 of Deuteronomy:
“I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee (that is, like Moses), and will put my words in his mouth”
Where does God place His Words? In the mouth of the prophet He sends.
And now, to be fed with the spiritual food of the Word of God, of the hidden Manna, where do we have to find this spiritual food? In the mouth of the prophet He sends. “For the Lord God will do nothing, except He first reveals His secrets to His servants His prophets.”4 And it is in the mouth of His prophets that He places His Word.
“…and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him (What will he speak? Anything that God commands him to speak to the people).
And it shall come to pass, that whosoever will not hearken unto my words which he shall speak in my name, I will require it of him.”
In the book of Acts, chapter 3, verse 22 to 23, it says: “I will uproot him from the people,” the apostle Saint Peter quoting this passage.
Now we can see where is the place where the Word, the spiritual food for the soul, would be found: in the mouth of the prophet that He raises up for the people.
And God says: “Hear ye him.” Why? Because by hearing him you will be hearing God, because God has placed His Word in the mouth of that prophet. Therefore, you will be hearing the Voice of God, the Voice of Christ, through the prophet that He has sent; and that is why He says: “Hear ye him.”
This promise was partially fulfilled in the prophets of the Old Testament, it was also fulfilled in Moses, and then it was fulfilled in Jesus in all His fullness; then it was fulfilled in the apostles and then also in the seven angel messengers partially; and then it would be fulfilled in the Last Day in the Angel of the Lord Jesus Christ, who, after carrying out the Work relevant to this end time, then God will adopt him, and there we will find that the same thing that was on Mount Transfiguration will be manifested through His Angel Messenger.
And only God will have a Voice on this Earth; and that is the Voice of Christ through His Angel Messenger, the Voice of the Angel of the Covenant through His Angel Messenger in this end time, to feed the soul of all human beings who have hunger and thirst, in this end time, to hear the Word of God, the Word of God for this end time. Because this is the time of what? This is THE TIME OF HUNGER AND THIRST OF HEARING THE WORD OF GOD, the Word of God relevant to this end time.
Young people, we are blessed at this time, because God is feeding us through His faithful and wise servant of the end time, of the Age of the Cornerstone and Dispensation of the Kingdom, which is His Angel Messenger; through whom, the Angel of the Covenant, the Angel of the Lord, for this end time would manifest Himself and would place His Word in the mouth of His Angel Messenger, and through His Angel Messenger would make known to us all these things that must happen soon.
That is why Christ says: “Come up hither.” With that Voice of Trumpet He says: “Come up hither, and I will show thee the things which must shortly come to pass after these.”5 In other words, after the seven ages of the gentile Church, now the things that will come to pass in the Age of the Cornerstone and Dispensation of the Kingdom, Christ will make them known in this end time.
Now let’s see through whom He will make them known. In Revelation, chapter 22, verse 6 and on, it tells us through whom, it tells us who He will send. It says:
“And he said unto me, These sayings are faithful and true: and the Lord God of the holy prophets sent his angel to shew unto his servants the things which must shortly be done.”
Whom has He sent? His Angel Messenger. What for? To make known, to show, the things that are to take place soon, that is, the things that are to happen in this end time.
“Behold, I come quickly: blessed is he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of this book.”
And who brings “the words of the prophecy of this book”? The Angel of the Lord Jesus Christ.
He who keeps the words of the prophecy of this Book brought by the Angel of the Lord Jesus Christ is blessed, for he is eating the spiritual food and drinking the spiritual water, which is what our soul needs in this end time, just as the soul of each person needed it in the age and dispensation in which he lived: he needed the Water and the spiritual bread of the Word of God relevant to the time in which he lived.
Now see through whom it is that Christ will make known all these things that must happen soon: it is through His Angel Messenger being sent by Christ and anointed by Christ, by the Holy Spirit; and Christ placing His Word in the mouth of His Angel Messenger; and him speaking all things that He commands him to speak.
“And he shall speak all things whatsoever I shall command him.” Why? Because He will put His Word in the mouth of the prophet that He sends.
And now, in Revelation, chapter 22, verse 16, it says:
“I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.”
Now see how Christ testifies that He has sent His Angel Messenger. There are at least three clear places where God speaks about His Angel Messenger and says that He has sent Him. We have already read two places: Revelation 22, verse 6, and Revelation 22, verse 16; and the other place is at the beginning of Revelation, in chapter 1, verse 1 to 3, where it says:
“The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John…”
Through whom? Through His Angel. The apocalyptic revelation was received by John the apostle through the Angel of the Lord Jesus Christ, that is, through a prophet.
That is why that prophet came giving testimony of all these things that were going to happen. He comes what? Prophesying; because what the prophets do is that they give testimony, they make known the things that will come to pass; and that is to prophesy, to make known things that will come to pass in the future. And that is why this Angel of the Lord Jesus Christ comes testifying, in other words, prophesying, the things that will happen soon; and to John the apostle He revealed all those things that will happen soon.
He is the prophet that brings the most extensive, most complete revelation of the entire Divine Program that would be carried out from the time of the apostles until this end time.
And now, we have seen how it is that for this end time we would be fed with the spiritual bread and Water of the Word of God, to receive the Spirit of Christ; because for this time it would be a time of hunger and thirst to hear the Word of God relevant to this time.
Young people, it has been a great privilege for me to be with you on this occasion, giving testimony of this time in which we are living, which is: “THE TIME OF HUNGER AND THIRST OF HEARING THE WORD OF GOD FOR TODAY,” in other words, the Word of God, the spiritual food, for today, for our time; because for every time God has had Word, in other words, He has had spiritual food for His children.
May the blessings of Jesus Christ, the Angel of the Covenant, be upon each one of you and upon me also; and may He give us more spiritual food every day, more Word, and feed our souls; and may soon the number of the elect be completed, and may we all soon be transformed and taken to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb in Heaven, in the House of our heavenly Father. In the Eternal Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen and amen.
May God continue to bless you all, may God keep you.
And let’s see what time we have around here… What time do we have? 4:30. And at what time is the next activity? (The next one, the children’s). Well, if we have time around here, I think Benjie may have some songs around here: one or two, not less than one and not more than two.
One is “The Lord shepherds me,” because He is shepherding us with the fresh pastures of His Word, which is the spiritual food for today, it is the spiritual food that mankind hungers and thirsts for; and God is already giving that Food to all of us.
“And the Earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea,”6 in other words, it will be filled with the knowledge of the Second Coming of Christ and His Work relevant to this end time.
(Let’s see Benjie over here…).
We are being fed, why? Because:7
“The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
He restoreth my soul…”
And so it goes on speaking all the blessings of our Shepherd, the Lord of the Old Testament, who is the Jesus Christ of the New Testament.
He said in the New Testament: “I am the good shepherd…”8 And He also said: “I am the door, and he who enters through me… shall go out and find pasture.”9 What for? To be fed.
And He also said: “Other sheep I have, which are not of this fold (for He said: “I am the good shepherd”; and He said); them also I must bring, and they shall hear My voice; and there shall be one flock, and one shepherd.”10
One Flock; and one Shepherd feeding that Flock with the Word of God relevant to the time in which those sheep live from age to age, until the Age of the Cornerstone, where we are fed by the Good Shepherd, the Lord of the Old Testament, which is the Jesus Christ of the New Testament, who said: “I am the Good Shepherd.”
We are going to have here, in this song, the Lord shepherding His sheep: “The Lord shepherds me.” And those who know it, can accompany us; and those who don’t know it, accompany us too, and learn the song.
In the first part we will say: “The Lord shepherds me”; and then, when we return to the repetition of it all, we will say: “Jesus shepherds me.” When I tell you, I give you a sign, then we will say: “Jesus.”
Now, let’s start: “The Lord shepherds me.”
[Hymn: “The Lord shepherds me”]
And being shepherded by Christ, being fed with His Word, we are being prepared to be like Him: to be transformed and to be in the image and likeness of our beloved Lord Jesus Christ.
And our desire, and His desire, is that we be like Him: in His image and likeness. And that is the desire of our soul. That is His desire and that is the desire of all the angels, and of all the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ from the past and present: to be like Christ. That is the greatest thing you can be: to be like Christ.
[Hymn: “To be like Christ”]
To be like Christ, is our longing from the depths of our soul. And we are already like Him in our spirit and soul. And now what remains is to be like Him in our physical body, and to have a glorified body like Him, to be in His image (that is the theophanic body) and in His likeness (that is the physical and glorified body that we are to receive). And thus we will be in all its fullness in His image and likeness, and thus we will be like Him: our beloved Savior Jesus Christ, and Good Shepherd, the Shepherd of our souls.
Well, may God continue to bless you, young people, may God keep you. And onward walking with Christ, the Good Shepherd, who feeds our souls with His Word.
With us again your pastor, Mauro.
May God bless you.
