Joseph by the Well

Good afternoon, fellow ministers present here, and also the ones who are connected through the Amazonas satellite or the internet in different countries. It is a great privilege and blessing to be with you on this occasion, to share some moments of fellowship with you around the Word of God and His Program pertaining to this end time.

For this reason, let’s read in Genesis, chapter 49, verses 22 to 26; this is the blessing that God through Israel or Jacob gave to his son Joseph, when he was bestowing the blessing upon his sons, in chapter 49… Let’s also read the verse… of 49, verses 1 and 2, where it says:

And Jacob called unto his sons, and said, Gather yourselves together, that I may tell you that which shall befall you in the last days.

Gather yourselves together, and hear, ye sons of Jacob; and hearken unto Israel your father.”

As a prophet, he had already seen by Divine revelation what the future of his children would be, what would befall them, and therefore the offspring of his children, who would form the tribes of Israel.

And now, let’s take one of the blessings bestowed upon one of his sons: the one that pertains to Joseph, which is the greatest blessing, the most extensive blessing. It says [verse 22]:

Joseph is a fruitful bough, even a fruitful bough by a well; whose branches run over the wall:

The archers have sorely grieved him, and shot at him, and hated him:

But his bow abode in strength, and the arms of his hands were made strong by the hands of the mighty God of Jacob; (from thence is the shepherd, the stone of Israel:)

Even by the God of thy father, who shall help thee; and by the Almighty, who shall bless thee with blessings of heaven above, blessings of the deep that lieth under, blessings of the breasts, and of the womb:

The blessings of thy father have prevailed above the blessings of my progenitors unto the utmost bound of the everlasting hills: they shall be on the head of Joseph, and on the crown of the head of him that was separate from his brethren.”

May God bless our souls with His Word and allow us to understand It.

Since we will speak about Joseph and this blessing that was bestowed upon him, our subject is: “JOSEPH BY THE WELL.” That is, “JOSEPH BY THE WELL” or “BY A WELL.” I say “by the well” because we will identify the Well.

Here the promise is that Joseph will be a fruitful bough; and therefore, if that bough or branch is fruitful…; one of Jacob’s branches, because he comes from Jacob, meaning, from Israel; that is where Joseph comes from.

And now, Jacob has twelve branches, which are his twelve sons, and through these branches will come many fruits: sons and daughters of those patriarchs, who will then form the tribes of Israel.

And now, this bough: Joseph, he says that – Jacob says that Joseph is a fruitful bough; therefore, that bough will have many fruits, many sons and daughters; and in plain words, that branch, that tribe of Joseph, will have many children.

And now, notice here: if it’s going to be fruitful, let’s see here: in chapter 48, verse 15, it says… from that point on, it says [Genesis]:

And he blessed Joseph, and said, God, before whom my fathers Abraham and Isaac did walk, the God which fed me all my life long unto this day,

The Angel which redeemed me from all evil, bless the lads; and let my name be named on them, and the name of my fathers Abraham and Isaac; and let them grow into a multitude in the midst of the earth.”

And now, here the blessing upon them is so that they multiply on the Earth; that is how God blessed Joseph through Jacob; because Joseph will be a fruitful branch, and therefore, he will multiply through his children (or through his… yes, through his children); and now, these will be Manasseh and Ephraim. But let’s see what it says next:

And when Joseph saw that his father laid his right hand upon the head of Ephraim, it displeased him: and he held up his father’s hand, to remove it from Ephraim’s head unto Manasseh’s head.

And Joseph said unto his father, Not so, my father: for this is the firstborn; put thy right hand upon his head.

And his father refused, and said, I know it, my son, I know it: he also shall become a people, and he also shall be great: but truly his younger brother shall be greater than he, and his seed shall become a multitude of nations.”

And now, notice, Ephraim’s seed “shall become a multitude of nations,” but Manasseh “shall become a people.”

And now, God, notice, because through Jacob He blesses Joseph…, by blessing whom? His sons Ephraim and Manasseh.

And now, let’s see a little more about this: in chapter 41… chapter 41, let’s see why Ephraim would be greater and would become a multitude of nations. Let’s look for it here: Genesis 41, verse 50… (41:52, let’s see…) 51 to 52. Chapter 41, let’s start on verse 49, says… or 50:

And unto Joseph were born two sons before the years of famine came, which Asenath the daughter of Potipherah priest of On bare unto him.

And Joseph called the name of the firstborn Manasseh: For God, said he, hath made me forget all my toil, and all my father’s house.”

Therefore, the name Manasseh means ‘he who makes (what?) forget.’ Now, the second one:

And the name of the second called he Ephraim: For God hath caused me to be fruitful in the land of my affliction.”

And since Joseph fructified (he was fruitful), now he names his son Ephraim, which means what? It means ‘fruitful.’

And now, since he bears the name ‘fruitful,’ which is Ephraim, now Ephraim is going to —by the blessing that Jacob bestows upon Ephraim— he is going to multiply, and he will become: “his seed shall become a multitude” (of what?) “of nations.” But Manasseh will become (what?) a people… he “shall become a people,” a numerous people, a great people; but Ephraim will become a multitude (of what?) of nations.

And now, Manasseh represents the Hebrew people and Ephraim represents the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ.

And now, we will find something more important as well, here in First Chronicles, chapter 5; and also in Genesis, chapter 49, verse 2… verse 3 and on, says; in the blessing that he bestowed upon the older one, Ruben, he says:

Reuben, thou art my firstborn, my might, and the beginning of my strength, the excellency of dignity, and the excellency of power:

Unstable as water,” (and now he says), “thou shalt not excel; because thou wentest up to thy father’s bed; then defiledst thou it: he went up to my couch.”

Notice, the blessing was, what he told him, was short; and he instead took the Birthright Blessing away from him. But no blessing is lost: when someone loses a blessing, remember, God gives it to someone else.

Remember about the talents1 and also about the pounds2: he that received one talent, as well as he that received one pound, lost it, because it was taken away from him; but the pound was given to the one who had the most, and the talent to the one who had the most talents.

And now, if Jacob tells Reuben that he will not excel despite being the firstborn, then the Birthright Blessing was already taken away from him even though he was the oldest, the firstborn; but let’s see where that blessing will be found later on.

In chapter 5 we find the Birthright Blessing [First Chronicles]:

Now the sons of Reuben the firstborn of Israel, (for he was the firstborn; but forasmuch as he defiled his father’s bed, his birthright was given unto the sons of Joseph the son of Israel: and the genealogy is not to be reckoned after the birthright.

And now, the sons of Joseph were given the birthrights.

And now, when he blesses Ephraim, in the Birthright Blessing there is an inheritance on Earth and in Heaven, and that he shall become a multitude of nations. And Manasseh will be a great people, an important people, but his younger brother, he says, will be greater than him.

And now, we will have the Birthright Blessing: one part for the Hebrew people and one part for Ephraim, who represents the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, for whom the greatest blessing is, where we find that She will become a multitude of nations.

And that is why, nations that will enter the Millennial Kingdom, will be connected to Christianity; and therefore, they will be a blessing to Israel and to the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ; nations which, as sheep, will be set at the right hand of the Son of the Man, of Christ, the Messiah, when He sits on the Throne of David, like He does with individuals.

There are individuals represented in sheep and there are also individuals represented in goats; and there are nations represented in sheep and there are nations represented in goats. The blessing is for the sheep.3

Now, let’s look at Ephraim by a well for a few moments. In Saint John, chapter 4… And also Genesis, chapter 48, verse 20 and on, goes on to say… this was when he bestowed the blessing upon Ephraim and Manasseh; it says:

And he blessed them that day, saying, In thee shall Israel bless, saying, God make thee as Ephraim and as Manasseh: and he set Ephraim before Manasseh.

And now, Israel is going to bless in Joseph; in Joseph, saying: “God make thee as Ephraim and as Manasseh: and he set Ephraim before Manasseh.

Although Israel came first, and then, later on, Christianity, now the greatest blessing is for the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ; but Israel also gets a great blessing, which is represented in the blessing that Jacob bestowed upon Manasseh:

And Israel said unto Joseph, Behold, I die: but God shall be with you, and bring you again unto the land of your fathers.

Moreover I have given to thee one portion above thy brethren…”

See? Because the one who has the Birthright Blessing always receives a double portion, that is, two portions:

… I have given to thee one portion above thy brethren, which I took out of the hand of the Amorite with my sword and with my bow.”

And now, let’s see this part that he was given. In Saint John, chapter 4, it says… this was when Jesus was traveling and came out of Judea and went back to Galilee. It says, verse 4:

And he must needs go through Samaria.

Then cometh he to a city of Samaria, which is called Sychar, near to the parcel of ground that Jacob gave to his son Joseph.

Now Jacob’s well was there,” (there we have the well). “Jesus therefore, being wearied with his journey, sat thus on the well: and it was about the sixth hour.

There cometh a woman

That’s around noon. That is the sixth hour, right, Miguel? The sixth hour is around noon, more or less? From 6:00 to 12:00 is six hours.

… and it was about the sixth hour.

There cometh a woman of Samaria to draw water: Jesus saith unto her, Give me to drink.

(For his disciples were gone away unto the city to buy meat.)

Then saith the woman of Samaria unto him, How is it that thou, being a Jew, askest drink of me, which am a woman of Samaria? for the Jews have no dealings with the Samaritans.

Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water.

The woman saith unto him, Sir, thou hast nothing to draw with, and the well is deep: from whence then hast thou that living water?

Art thou greater than our father Jacob, which gave us the well, and drank thereof himself, and his children, and his cattle?

Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again:

But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.

The woman saith unto him, Sir, give me this water, that I thirst not, neither come hither to draw.”

And now, Jesus stands by the well that Jacob gave his son Joseph, called “Jacob’s well,” and He represents himself in the well, or one greater than that well, with Water that is superior to the literal water that comes from the well.

And now, let’s see which Water He is referring to: in chapter 7, verses 37 to 39, it says [John]:

In the last day, that great day of the feast

Meaning that this was in the time of the Feast of Tabernacles, in the last day, that great day of that feast. It says:

In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink.

He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.

(But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)”

And now, the River of Living Water is none other than the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Christ coming to His believers. The Holy Spirit that was in Him is promised here to come to all the believers in Christ, to all those who would come to Him to drink of that Water of the Holy Spirit, to receive the Spirit of Christ, and thus obtain the new birth.

That is also why in the Scripture it tells us that the Rock that followed Israel was Christ; and well, the rock gave them water. The first rock and the second rock represented Christ: in His First Coming, the rock that was at Mount Sinai;4 and the rock that was in Kadesh-Barnea5 represented the Second Coming of Christ.

And what that rock gave was water, because a river of water was inside the rock; and when the rock was opened, a river of water came forth to give more than a million people to drink, without counting the cattle and the fowls they had with them, everything they had with them.

And now, in Revelation, chapter 21, it says…verse 5 and on, says:

And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.

And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.”

And here He is going to give of the Fountain of the Water of Life; that is, He is going to give us of His Spirit, of His Holy Spirit; and Christ is the Fountain of the Holy Spirit, for it was in Him; and the believers in Christ are going to receive of that same Spirit.

He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.”

And now, notice how the children of the second Adam come: they come to the Rock, which is Christ, and they drink of the Water of Life, meaning, of the Holy Spirit, they receive the Spirit and obtain the new birth: they are born as children of God through the second Adam; and that is the Family of Christ, the sons and daughters of God.

That is why when His brethren and Mary came, and they tell Him: “Look, Your mother and Your brethren have come and they are seeking You, they are here and they are seeking You, they are looking for You,” Christ says: “Who is My mother and who are My brethren? But those who do the will of My Father; those are My mother and My brethren (meaning, ‘My family.’)”6 That is the Family of God, the seed of God: the sons and daughters of God, who come through the Son of God, Jesus Christ our Savior.

And now, let’s see again: in chapter 22, verse 17, it tells us… 16 to 17, says [Revelation]:

I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star,” (in other words, Christ is the Bright and Morning Star, which is Christ, the Angel of the Covenant, the Holy Spirit).

And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.”

Therefore, everyone has the opportunity to hear the preaching of the Gospel of Christ; the faith of Christ is born in their soul, they receive Christ as Savior, they are baptized in water in His Name and Christ baptizes them with the Holy Spirit and Fire; and thus the person has drunk of the Holy Spirit, has received the Holy Spirit, the Water of Eternal Life; the Spirit of Christ, the Holy Spirit, comes from Christ, and thus the person is born again, and therefore, belongs to David’s family, through Christ, the Son of David.

And now, that is the house of David restored; there we have the family of princes, which is why the Scripture says that “Christ with His Blood has cleansed us from all sin, and has made us unto our God kings and priests.”7 Kings and priests; as descendants of Christ we belong to the family, to the house of David; and in the heavenly part we also belong to that heavenly Family that descends from Christ, King Melchizedek, from Heaven; and that is why we are kings with Christ, who is the King of kings and Lord of lords.

And we are also priests of God, and Christ is the High Priest of that Priestly Order of the heavenly Temple. And since the saints will judge the world,8 then we are also judges, and Christ is the Judge whom God has ordained to be the Judge of the living and dead.9

And now, we can see that we belong to a heavenly Order, which will also have that Order established on Earth; and that will be for the Earth when the restoration of God’s Kingdom on Earth is in total fulfillment.

And in the parable of the pounds, some were given to rule over a certain number of cities, others over a certain number of cities, and so on, why? Because they are kings; those people are the members of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Everyone will all have an important position in the Kingdom of the Messiah here on Earth; that is, they will belong to the administration of that Kingdom; in other words, they will be government people, some in one position and others in another. At least, we can clearly see that the apostles will sit on twelve thrones and judge the twelve tribes of Israel;10 just as the judges of the Old Testament, up to Samuel, judged the tribes of Israel.

And now, that is theocracy; and theocracy will be fused with monarchy, which will be established on Earth, which will be the restoration of David’s Kingdom.

And since all the born-again believers in Christ are descendants of God through Christ, and Christ, Jesus Christ is a descendant of King David after the flesh; notice, the line of the dynasty of God’s Kingdom on Earth, which is David’s Kingdom, notice where it comes from; and He makes us members of that dynasty, members of David’s family through Christ.

There are members of David’s family through other descendants of David, but through Christ it’s only the born-again believers in Christ who form the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ; and therefore, they will work for the restoration of that Kingdom. That is why Christ tells His believers, when they (the apostles) tell Him: “Teach us to pray, as John taught his disciples,” then Christ tells them: “After this manner, therefore pray,” or “pray like this…” And let’s see. Chapter 6, verse 9 and on, says [Matthew]:

After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.”

After glorifying, worshiping God, then, notice, the most important thing He puts here after that is the Coming of the Kingdom of God: “Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done.” And may God’s will be done; because God wants His will to be done, He wants every human being to do God’s will; for which the Coming of the Kingdom of God is required.

Since the Day of Pentecost and on, the Kingdom of God has been on Earth in the spiritual realm, and millions of human beings who have desired to do the will of God have been entering into the Kingdom of God.

And Christ as Lord, as Ruler, has been ruling over the life of those people; because He is our Lord, the Head of that Family of God, called the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ. Just as the husband is the head of the wife, and therefore, of the household; likewise, Christ is the Head of His Church.

And now, the Kingdom of God has been in the spiritual realm, but It will be established in the physical realm as well; and then on Earth, the will of God shall be done. “The Earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of God, as the waters cover the sea.”11 And therefore, with the full knowledge of God and His Program and how to serve God, everyone will serve God.

The devil will be bound for a thousand years, and so will all those wicked spirits, therefore it will be a Kingdom of peace; peace that will spread from Jerusalem to all of Israel, to all of the Middle East and to all the nations.

And now, “JOSEPH BY THE WELL.”

Now, in the New Testament the Well is Christ, represented in Jacob’s well; and the Water that He gives is the Holy Spirit, unto Eternal Life; because the person obtains the new birth, and therefore, has been born to a new life: to Eternal Life with Christ in His Eternal Kingdom.

Notice, in Saint John chapter 14, verse 26, it says:

But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.”

Chapter 15, verse 26, says:

But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:

And ye also shall bear witness, because ye have been with me from the beginning.”

Then, chapter 16, verses 5 and on, says… and part of verse 4, says:

But these things have I told you, that when the time shall come, ye may remember that I told you of them. And these things I said not unto you at the beginning, because I was with you.

But now I go my way to him that sent me; and none of you asketh me, Whither goest thou?

But because I have said these things unto you, sorrow hath filled your heart.

Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.

And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:

Of sin, because they believe not on me;

Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more;

Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged.

I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now.

Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.

He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you.

All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall shew it unto you.”

And here, notice how Christ shows us all these very wonderful things that He will be doing so that we can have the Water of Life, which is the Holy Spirit.

Let’s see chapter 14 here; it says, verse 18 [John]:

I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.

Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also.

At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.

He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.

Judas saith unto him, not Iscariot, Lord, how is it that thou wilt manifest thyself unto us, and not unto the world?

Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.

He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father’s which sent me.”

And here… He goes on to say:

These things have I spoken unto you, being yet present with you.

But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I.

And now I have told you before it come to pass, that, when it is come to pass, ye might believe.”

In all of these passages we can see how Christ speaks to us about the Holy Spirit that He will send to the believers in Him.

And now, we can see Joseph by the Well, in seeing the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ by Christ, and every believer in Christ by Christ, who is the Well of the Water of Eternal Life, represented in Jacob’s well that Joseph inherited.

And therefore, he was placed… Joseph was placed, in other words, his descendants: the tribe of Ephraim and the tribe of Manasseh, were placed there, in the area where the well was; it was an inheritance for Joseph and his descendants.

And now, the seed of Joseph through Ephraim, notice how it has spread throughout the whole world; and the promise is that it will form a multitude of nations.12 And when those nations enter the Millennial Kingdom of Christ, there the relationship they will have with Ephraim will be seen clearly.

Remember that Ephraim was the one who received – the tribe of Ephraim was the one that received the ten tribes; that is, the tribe of Ephraim was at the head of the northern kingdom, for Jeroboam was a descendant of Ephraim, and therefore, of Joseph.13

And now, we can see that there is a great blessing for Ephraim; or for Joseph through the blessing that is manifested in Ephraim.

And now, the promise to Joseph: “Joseph is a fruitful bough.” And it says… let’s see how it says it here: Genesis chapter 49:

Joseph is a fruitful bough, even a fruitful bough by a well…”

And now, we have Joseph by the Well of the Water of Eternal Life, and making fruitful – made fruitful – or being fruitful through Ephraim; and Ephraim represents the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, through which God has been manifesting Himself and placing sons and daughters in the Kingdom of God, which is in the spiritual realm. Ephraim has been placed by the Well, which is Christ, the Well of the Water of Eternal Life.

From Christianity’s perspective, Joseph is, of course, by the Well. That’s why we will find the lost tribes —mostly— among Christianity, for the northern tribes were led by the tribe of Ephraim.

And now, we can see that throughout past times, under the persecutions, the Hebrews were forced to convert to Christianity, or they would be killed; but everything works together for good. And millions of them entered into the Divine Program, and they were then by the Well, by the Well of the Water of Eternal Life, which is Jesus Christ our Savior.

And now, we can see why the great blessing is with the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ. That’s why Christ, the Angel of the Covenant, has been in the midst of Christianity throughout these two thousand years, moving from age to age; the same Angel of the Covenant who delivered the Hebrew people, and who manifested Himself through Moses and through the judges and through the prophets of the Old Testament.

The same Angel of the Covenant who appeared to Abraham on different occasions, the same Angel of the Covenant who ate with Abraham, the same Angel of the Covenant who also appeared to Hagar on one occasion, the same Angel of the Covenant who would appear to different people: to Abraham, also to Isaac, to Jacob, and so on, the same Angel of the Covenant of whom Jacob says: “The Angel who watches over me,” when he spoke the blessing for his grandsons; he says:

The Angel which redeemed me from all evil, bless the lads; and let my name be named on them…”

And now, the name of Jacob, of Israel, notice, is tied to Ephraim and Manasseh; and therefore, it is tied to the northern tribes and to the southern tribes, of the Hebrew people. And as such, now we find the name of Israel (or Jacob) tied to Christianity as well; because in Christianity we find millions of descendants of Abraham, of the ten tribes; and also of the southern tribes, of the southern tribes led by Judah.

Now, we can see how God: has made both peoples one; and therefore, both peoples will be in the land of Israel with the Messiah the Prince; all the believers in Christ will be there because they are princes and princesses who belong to the house of David; and they are called kings and priests, and also judges.

In other words, the judgment upon the nations and also Judgment Day, will have the Supreme Court under the direction of the Chief Justice: Christ—whom God has ordained to be the Judge of the living and dead— along with His group of judges. All the members of the Church, all the born-again belong to that judicial power; and that is why they will also judge the angels: “The saints shall judge the world and even the angels.”

And now we can see Joseph by the Well, which is Christ, the Well of the Water of Eternal Life; and we can also see the dynasty of David through the line of Christ, and therefore, we can see that that dynasty of David has gone on to Christ. And all the descendants of Christ are sons and daughters of God through the new birth; and they belong to the family of David, they belong to the house of David, the tabernacle of David that had fallen; and we will see that manifested more extensively in the Millennial Kingdom.

JOSEPH BY THE WELL.” Joseph by Christ, the Well of the Water of Eternal Life.

We can see why, things that are relevant to the Birthright Blessing in the midst of Christianity, have been manifested, and at this end time they will be manifested more extensively.

The southern tribes: Judah and Benjamin, with part of the Levites, will not be able to have the Kingdom of David restored without the northern tribes, led by Ephraim.

Ephraim, who would be by the Well. And therefore, he would have earthly blessings and heavenly blessings as well, which is what the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ has and will have; and later on we will see —and especially in the Millennial Kingdom— that It will be recognized as part of Israel.

Without the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ there will be no restored Kingdom of David. Therefore, the Church needs Judah, and Judah needs Christianity, the Church, for the restoration of the Kingdom of David; because in the midst of Christianity, in the midst of the Church, there are thousands or millions of descendants of the northern tribes; and among them, the descendants of Joseph have the Birthright Blessing.

So, seeing Joseph by the Well, we are filled with joy and gratitude to God for this great blessing that Jacob spoke over Joseph, which later Moses also spoke; for he couldn’t speak differently than what Jacob spoke, it had to be in accordance with what he spoke.

In chapter 33 of Deuteronomy, verse 13 and on, Moses says, speaking, bestowing the blessing upon… not to an individual this time, but to tribes that were descendants of the patriarchs. It says in chapter 33, verse 13 and on, verses 13 to 17:

And of Joseph he said, Blessed of the Lord be his land, for the precious things of heaven, for the dew, and for the deep that coucheth beneath,

And for the precious fruits brought forth by the sun, and for the precious things put forth by the moon,

And for the chief things of the ancient mountains, and for the precious things of the lasting hills,

And for the precious things of the earth and fulness thereof, and for the good will of him that dwelt in the bush: let the blessing come upon the head of Joseph, and upon the top of the head of him that was separated from his brethren.

His glory is like the firstling of his bullock, and his horns are like the horns of unicorns: with them he shall push the people together to the ends of the earth,” (and this here is very important), “and they are the ten thousands of Ephraim, and they are the thousands of Manasseh.”

Notice, the two horns of unicorns [oxen], now are these two powers that he will have, which are Ephraim and Manasseh.

… and his horns are like the horns of unicorns: with them he shall push the people together to the ends of the earth: and they are the ten thousands of Ephraim, and they are the thousands of Manasseh.”

Now we can see a great blessing there, for Ephraim with his ten thousands and for Manasseh with the thousands. There is a great blessing there for this end time; and it has to do with the nations and it has to do with the restoration of the Kingdom of David.

JOSEPH BY THE WELL,” by Jacob’s well.

It has been a great privilege to be with you on this occasion, testifying to you about: “JOSEPH BY THE WELL.”

This well of Jacob represents God through Christ giving us the Water of Eternal Life: the Holy Spirit; and Joseph by that well through Ephraim, who represents the Church of Jesus Christ.

And now, Manasseh, well, he represents the Hebrew people or the Jews, who also have a great blessing to receive at this end time.

Born-again Christians and Jews are brothers, that is why they have the same God, and Abraham as the father of faith. And at this time there is a better understanding between Christians and Jews.

And Christianity began with Hebrews, Hebrews of the northern tribes and some of the southern tribes. And Christ, who came through the tribe of Judah, by one of the southern tribes; by the chief southern tribe, which is Judah’s.

JOSEPH BY THE WELL.” Christ, or God in Christ is the Well.

That’s why around Jeremiah there is a part that speaks to us about God as the Fountain, which the Hebrew people forsook to make themselves broken cisterns that can hold no water. What does that passage say, Miguel? If you look it up for me we can read it here. Which one?

[Bro. Miguel: Jeremiah 2:13: “For my people have committed two evils; they have forsaken me the fountain of living waters, and hewed them out cisterns, broken cisterns.” Is that the one you’re thinking of?]

Yes, that’s the one:

[Bro. Miguel: That’s in 2:13, Jeremiah.]

2:13 of Jeremiah. Chapter 2, verse 13, let’s read it:

For my people have committed two evils; they have forsaken me the fountain of living waters…”

See? God is the Fountain of Living Water, and that’s why Christ, in whom God was, could speak and say: “Come to Me; if any man thirsts, let him come unto Me and drink.”14 It was God speaking through Jesus Christ; because God is the Fountain of the Water of Eternal Life.

That’s why you find on some occasions, in chapter 14 and chapter 15 and chapter 16 of Saint John, around those passages you find that sometimes Jesus says that the Father is the One who will give the Spirit, and on other occasions Christ says that He will be the One who will send It, Christ will send It from the Father.

And now, we can also see that on some occasions when Christ says to ask, and that everything you ask believing, the Father will grant it; and on other occasions He says that He will grant it.15 When He says that He will grant it, it is the Father through Christ granting that; and thus, it is God working through Christ; because God does not do anything except through Jesus Christ.

Anyone might say: “But God did things through Moses and through the prophet Elijah.” Yes, but it was the Spirit of Christ in them, God through His Spirit, and the Spirit of Christ (see?) working through the prophets. In other words, it was God through Christ, the Angel of the Covenant, doing things.

Moses didn’t perform miracles, it was God through the Angel of the Covenant, through Christ, performing the miracles; and so on, Divine things were done by God through Christ; although we can see in the Scripture that men were the ones speaking, but it was the Spirit of God speaking through them.

And now, we have seen Joseph by the Well, and therefore, we have seen the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ by the Well.

There’s a passage here, Miguel, in Psalm 1, also, which shows us the Church; chapter 1, verse 1 and on, says:

Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.

But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.

And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.”

Such is the person who is blessed, such is the righteous, the believer in God, the believer in Christ; and he is like a tree planted by the rivers of water.

The Church is planted by the rivers of water, in other words, She is planted by the River of the Water of Eternal Life, and that Water of Eternal Life is the Holy Spirit, which, like a river, flows inside each believer in Christ.

Also in Psalm 23 it tells us something here; it says:

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.

He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.”

And here we have the Waters of the Holy Spirit, being received by all those who thirst, and flowing inside each person. Just like when we drink water: the water flows through our belly, through our body, and it does what it is sent to do. And just like water goes to the kidneys, it flows through there, the Holy Spirit does too, and discerns, it says: “Even the reins” [in Spanish: “Even the kidneys”—Ed.], is that what it says, Miguel? The thoughts and intents of the heart.16 And there are places where it also speaks about the kidneys (if you look for it), in Revelation too and in other places.

Since we are like in a study, we are here to study the Scripture and share, that way we all participate and learn about the Word of God and His Program for our time.

Remembering that the Church is by the Well of the Water of Eternal Life, and it’s in the most important stage. She has been growing, receiving the Water, She has been growing, and She is already in the stage for adoption, the stage of the Age of the Cornerstone, for adoption; to receive the adoption, the redemption of the body, and to be adopted as sons and daughters of God in the physical part as well, with physical Eternal Life, like Jesus Christ in His glorified physical body.

You haven’t found it, Miguel?

[Bro. Luis Jorge: Psalm 7:9 “… the righteous God trieth the hearts and reins.”] [RVR-1909 in Spanish: “… the righteous God trieth the hearts and kidneys.”—Ed.]

Thank you, Luisito.

[Bro. Luis Jorge: Psalm 26:2: “… try my reins and my heart.”] [RVR-1909 in Spanish: “… try my kidneys and my heart.”—Ed.]

It’s 7:9… 7 what? [Bro. Luis Jorge: 9.]

And the other one is twenty what? [Bro. Luis Jorge: Psalm 26:2.] 26:2.

[Psalm 7:9] “… for the righteous God trieth the hearts and reins.” [Dr. Soto’s Bible: “For the righteous God trieth the mind and the heart.”—Ed.]

Well, here it’s a different translation.

[Bro. Luis Jorge: It’s Reina-Valera 1909.]

Yes. In translations, well… That’s why one searches in all the translations and sees… but I’ve read that it also says the kidneys. And in 26:2 (yes, here…) [Psalms]:

“… try my reins and my heart.” [Dr. Soto’s Bible: “… try my innermost thoughts and my heart.”—Ed.]

But in other versions, well… This is another version, the one I have here, and that’s why… Do you have a…?

[Bro. Luis Jorge: Jeremiah 11:20: “But, O Lord (…), that judgest righteously, that triest the reins and the heart…”] [RVR-1909 in Spanish: “But, O Lord (…), that judgest righteously, that triest the kidneys and the heart…”—Ed.]

Jeremiah 11:20 too, write that down there.

[Bro. Luis Jorge: It’s Reina-Valera 1909.]

Yes, that’s the one I used to always use. Jeremiah 11, what? 11…? [Bro. Luis Jorge: 20.] Yes.

Here, well, whenever it says: “kidney” in other places, here it says: “the mind.” There’s no problem with that. We can see that the Word of God discerns the thoughts… Hebrews 4:12.

In other words, God, well, through His Spirit, knows from the top of our head to the tip of our toes, our entire being, so nothing is hidden from Him.

The psalmist himself said that God knew him (and Jeremiah does too) since he was in the womb, or even before that.17 And He has put our names in His Book, the Lamb’s Book of Life, before the foundation of the world.

Therefore, He knew us… “Those whom He did foreknow, He also did predestinate,” Saint Paul says in Romans, chapter what? Chapter 8. [Bro. Miguel: 8:29.] Yes.

So, He already knew all of us; because for God there is no time. He is present at all times, to Him it’s an eternal present.

It’s like… you’re over there where you are, and you look this way and you see me, you see me in the present; but to get to where I am, you have to walk, therefore, it’s in the future; you are seeing me in the future as if it were in the present. But to get here to where I am it will take you a few seconds, therefore, it’s not the present; and for me to get to where you are… I’m seeing you in the present, but to get to where you are, it will take me a few seconds, therefore, it’s the future.

And likewise, God, well, since He sees through time (He is omnipresent), to Him, He is seeing everything in the present before the foundation of the world; and that’s why He can see what our trajectory on Earth would be.

By foreknowledge, He can choose some and reject others. He knew what we would do every year, every month, every week, every day, every hour, every minute, every second; and if you divide the seconds further, if you divide it into (what would you call it?)… into milliseconds and then microseconds, something like that. He knew everything, and He knew how our body would work every second of our life.

Therefore, He knows everything; and yet He had mercy on us. In other words, we were elected, not by our good works, but by the will of God.

Saint Paul says so there in Romans and in Ephesians as well, that we have been elected according to the foreknowledge of God, and we have been elected unto sprinkling, unto obedience and sprinkling of the Blood of Christ;18 Blood as of a Lamb slain for us; so that we can be by what? Jacob’s well personified in Jesus Christ our Savior.

That well was a type and figure of Christ, the Messiah, who would come with the Water of Eternal Life, the Holy Spirit, for me; and for whom else? For each one of you as well.

May the blessings of Christ, the Angel of the Covenant, be upon all of you and also upon me; and may He fill us with all heavenly and earthly blessings too; and may He use us greatly in His Work at this end time. In the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.

I appreciate and I am grateful for everything you are doing for the work here in Puerto Rico, for the land and also for the construction of the new auditorium, which will be a benefit, a blessing, not only to Puerto Rico, but to all the ministers and all the congregations, and all the brethren in every country; and not only for us but for all people, for all religious groups, for all people in all religions, also for the Hebrew people, and for all mankind.

I really appreciate that you have been hand in hand with Miguel, who has been working in this program, on this project, and you have been doing all of this with Love Divine; and I trust that we can continue and increase our effort, together with our friend and brother, Missionary Miguel Bermúdez Marín, so that we may have that place in Puerto Rico soon.

Missionary Miguel Bermúdez Marín and I have been in agreement regarding this work in favor of the Work of Christ at this end time. And we trust that later on God works in that place in favor of everyone, and that in all nations they also have their satellite antennas to hear the activities that will take place, and to also be able to see them through the screens they have installed in their congregations.

There is a promise of an auditorium or tent or cathedral, and then there is also the promise of a great manifestation from God. And whoever God plans to use and desires to use, that is the person He will use in those services. Let’s also pray for the person that He plans to use in those services.

It’s promised that the Third Pull will be manifested, and that Third Pull was shown in five manifestations where the power of God was manifested; there were five occasions, which are a type and figure of what God will do in that Third Pull; and the promise is that in the Tent Vision, in the Tent that Reverend William Branham saw, the Third Pull will be manifested, and therefore, there will be the manifestation of those five… five [Bro. Miguel: rehearsals] rehearsals (those were the rehearsals).19

And it was said: “What you have seen manifested partially, when the squeeze comes down, then It will be manifested in all Its power (the Third Pull), It will then be in the fullness of Its power;20 which shows us that someone will be adopted, and a group of people will also be adopted.

The things those five manifestations represent, will also be fulfilled or also made a reality, in the fulfillment of the Tent Vision:

• Salvation for family members.

• Divine healing (at a short or long distance), like what happened with the healing of Reverend William Branham’s wife.

• Salvation, also like what happened for the sons of sister Hattie Wright.

• Also, power over nature: when It was spoken over the snowstorm that was approaching, and it was ordered to leave; that’s power over nature. And those things are what will be manifested under the ministry of the Two Olive Trees.

Therefore, we hope that those ministries visit us in Puerto Rico, and that the Tent Vision is fulfilled where God has already determined it. And since everyone wants the best for their country, well, here you also want the best for Puerto Rico, and therefore, a Tent Cathedral is being built, a large auditorium, because we expect great blessings from God; we believe them with all our heart.

• Notice, (this…) the creation of squirrels; in other words, by the spoken Word, squirrels that didn’t exist were created; which speaks to us of the spoken Word for the creation, not only of squirrels, but also of people’s limbs; because it was also said that: there will come a time when the Word will be spoken, and the body parts of people who have lost their limbs, their arms or their legs, will be created; or their eyes, or so on.

• And the one of the little fish: the resurrection of the little fish speaks of the same thing as Lazarus; the resurrection of Lazarus and the resurrection of the little fish are the same: the resurrection of the dead in Christ at the Last Day.

In other words, under the Third Pull, even the resurrection of the dead in Christ is tied to the Third Pull. What will it be like? The Scripture says that it will be at the Last Trumpet;21 meaning that the Trumpet will be sounding for the resurrection of the dead in Christ. That is the Voice of Christ, the Voice of God through Christ, the Angel of the Covenant, at the Last Day.

And we’ll leave it at that so that we don’t open that mystery too much, which at this end time, we will see manifested in the fulfillment of the Tent Vision.

It may also have a spiritual meaning, but the greater meaning is literal; because there was preaching, an altar call was being made, and all these things; and they were coming to the Feet of Christ.22 Therefore, that is literal for the people of God; because the Third Pull is for the Bride, for the foolish as well (for the church), and It is also for the world.

In other words, in that Third Pull, the Bride-Church will be impacted, the nominal church (meaning, all of Christianity), the whole world; the Jews are included there as well, that is to say, they will be impacted, because there they will see the manifestation of Christ, the Angel of the Covenant; and when they see that manifestation, they will say: “This is what we are waiting for.” But it was said: “He’s not coming for them.”23 But it was also said that that Angel of Revelation 10, which is Christ, the Angel of the Covenant, the Holy Spirit, is the Messenger to Israel.

In other words, notice everything that has to do with the Tent Vision for Its fulfillment. In other words, all of that needs to be put together for the fulfillment of the Tent Vision. And Israel is waiting for that.

I told you once, in some places, that if… that is, if Christianity knew that there are many leaders, rabbis, who are expecting the Coming of the Messiah sooner than Christianity is… that many rabbis are expecting Him sooner than many ministers of the Gospel of Christ; and they’ve said so. But they are watching, watching everything, because they are already – they have already thought out how everything will unfold.

We don’t know what that Third Pull and the fulfillment of the Tent Vision will be like, but the important thing is to have a place for God, and: “Here it is, it’s for You,” we dedicate it to God; and if it is the one that was seen, then He is going to use it; and since we also don’t know if the same thing is going to be repeated in different countries… if there is time; if there is no time, well, it will only be in one place; but from one place it will be broadcasted and they will see in every place.

Well, I remember something very important, and it’s that the opening of the Seals was in the same place as the messenger of the seventh age; and that was the type and figure of what God is going to do later on; and he had a place prepared for Him for that work. Well, let’s leave that alone there.

Surely the ministries of the Two Olive Trees will want a place prepared somewhere on Earth. And wherever those ministries are and in the territory where those ministries are seen, that will surely be the place where that entire Program of the Third Pull will be fulfilled; because that Third Pull is relevant to the ministries of the Two Olive Trees and the ministry of Jesus being repeated; because the Seventh Trumpet, which are Moses and Elijah, the ministries of Moses and Elijah, and the Seventh Seal, which is the Coming of the Lord, Reverend William Branham says: “The Seventh Trumpet and the Seventh Seal is the Coming of the Lord.”24 Because the Son of Man is coming with whom? With His Angels.25

Well, you can see then that under the Third Pull they will see Christ manifested, and will say: “This is what we are waiting for”: the final manifestation of the Angel of the Covenant, who has been in the Church during the different stages of the Church.

Let’s leave it there, because that mystery of the Seventh Seal should not be opened fully; but with what we have so far, I believe you understand; and you understand why we are working in favor of Puerto Rico, in terms of the construction of that new auditorium, where great blessings from God are expected. And without making too much noise, so as to not interrupt the Program that God has with Puerto Rico and with the other countries which ar…- where we also expect great blessings from God.

Well, let’s have Missionary Miguel Bermúdez Marín come up here again to continue.

I hadn’t thought to speak so openly about this, but we already touched on that; and since we already touched on that matter of the Angels that he saw: Where were the Angels coming from? From the West. Flying towards where? Towards the East. So, from the West, the Angels appeared there flying toward the East. And the Angel who was different from the rest was flying from where? From the West to the East; and that was the Angel who had the Seventh Seal, and therefore, the One who had the Third Pull.26 Any clearer than that, well… I used to say: “A rooster couldn’t crow any clearer.” But let’s leave it alone there, so that things continue going well; and always avoid fanaticism, because fanaticism is a cause of stumbling for many people. We don’t want anyone to stumble, but rather for the entire Program to continue moving forward.

Well, we are expecting great blessings from God in this new millennium that began, it’s already been seven years and it’s soon to be eight, and in this new 21st century that began; and we hope that everything takes place in this 21st century, because by the 22nd century, well, our bodies would already be very worn out.

How many more years, Miguel? 92 more years, well, it’s almost 2008. It’s difficult to endure 92 more years, for most of us. We are not even 92 yet and we are already asking for the new body.

Therefore, in this new century, well, we hope that everything takes place. We’re not going to be saying that out on the street, but we know that the seventh millennium already began, and therefore, that is the seventh millennial day, represented in the Sabbath or Saturday, the seventh day of the week.

And notice, on one occasion Christ said that the Son of Man is the Lord of what? Of the Sabbath.27 “Lord,” meaning, ruler; and the Son of Man, Christ, is the Lord, the ruler of the seventh millennium, where He will establish His Kingdom. Therefore, He will rule during that seventh millennium.

For the Jews, the seventh millennium still hasn’t begun, they are still around the… I won’t tell you what year they’re in, but they’re almost there, they’re already about to complete and reach the seventh millennium; and they also believe that the seventh millennium is the time for the Messiah’s reign.

So, just think about how they are on the lookout for something to happen. They are expecting two men: Elijah and the Messiah.

And now, I won’t explain how they are expecting this, because we’ve already run out of time, and we are going to leave Miguel here; and we will see each other tomorrow, God willing, in the relevant service; and then I’ll be with you through the internet, next Sunday (or through the satellite), since I have to be in the services that will take place in Brazil.

Well, may God bless you. It’s already… Miguel still doesn’t want to move. Let’s ask him to come up here, because it’s already… it’s best to conclude now; it’s already lunch time, I think. [Bro. Miguel: 5:00 more or less, it’s about to be 5:00.] It’s practically lunch and dinner, right?

So, may God bless you, and see you tomorrow, God willing; and pray a lot for tomorrow’s service, God willing.

Here we have Miguel with you again.
