Good afternoon, ministers and partners in the Mystical Body of Christ our Savior. It is a great privilege for me to be with you on this occasion, to share with you on this occasion, on this first Saturday of the month of May, some moments of fellowship around the Word of God and His Program relevant to this end time. For this reason, let’s read in Saint Mark chapter 13, verses 24 to 37, where it tells us:
“But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light,
And the stars of heaven shall fall, and the powers that are in heaven shall be shaken.
And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory.
And then shall he send his angels, and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven.
Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When her branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is near:
So ye in like manner, when ye shall see these things come to pass, know that it is nigh, even at the doors.
Verily I say unto you, that this generation shall not pass, till all these things be done.
Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.
But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.
Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is.
For the Son of Man is as a man taking a far journey, who left his house, and gave authority to his servants, and to every man his work, and commanded the porter to watch.
Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning:
Lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping.
And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch.”
WATCHING… “WATCHING AND WORKING FOR THE FULFILLMENT OF THE SCRIPTURES.”
May God bless our souls with His Word and allow us to understand It.
God has ordained Word for each time since before the foundation of the world; for Him to carry out the Work relevant to each time. In plain words, what God will be speaking and doing, was already planned by God before the foundation of the world. And God won’t do anything other than what He already thought of before the foundation of the world, which is in the Word: from Genesis to Revelation.
When God sends a messenger for an age, from Genesis to Revelation, we can see that it has always been a prophet. And the Word of God for that time (which is ordained by God before the foundation of the world) comes to him from God; he catches It by Divine Revelation, he believes It, he knows who he is, he knows that he is the one sent for that time….
Some run away, like Jonah;1 but not everyone is like that. Although Jonah, notice, was a true prophet, and he was afraid; he was afraid that he would prophesy everything that would happen and that the people would repent and then it wouldn’t happen. In other words, apparently he was protecting his prestige. And God’s prestige is the one that must be protected; and that is protected by God.
And what if it wasn’t fulfilled? Well, on the other hand, God is merciful, and he knew it; and if he knew it then he knew that if the people repented, together with the king, God would have mercy on the people and would not destroy Nineveh. And that should have made the prophet happy, that God would be moved to mercy if the people repented.
The prophet always knows who he is, the messenger of each time knows it; and he can’t be substituted by another man, because God already designed that before the foundation of the world.
What happens is that one sees human nature in the prophets. Some are calm, others are more nervous, others are —as they say— grouchy; but if he is the prophet of that time, then that is the man of God.
Like what happened to Elisha, they mocked him and he cursed 42 children.2 Who was at fault? The parents of those children, who did not educate them well, did not teach them to respect God and the things of God and the men of God.
The same thing happened in the time of Moses when they tried to stone Moses ten times; notice, they didn’t respect Moses, and that is why they didn’t respect the Divine Gift in Moses. It was through Moses that God communicated with the people.
Not even Aaron and Miriam, who thought that they were already…, since God had used them (because Moses had asked for a helper),3 then they thought that they were superior or equal to Moses. But they were not equal, they were neither equal, nor… much less superior. They criticized Moses because of the wife he married, which displeased God.4 They were racists and discriminators. They were already discriminating not only against the wife of Moses, but against Moses too; judging him as well.
Reverend William Branham says that nobody judges a prophet, because he is the Word of God for that time.5 And if he is the Word of God for that time: the Word of God comes to him, in revelation; and he speaks It to the people. And that Word becomes a reality, It materializes.
And that is the Work of God for that time: to materialize that Word, to quicken It, make It a reality; because God watches, He watches over His Word, what for? To perform It, in and for the age which that Word pertains to.
God doesn’t have to perform the Word that is for a future age in the present, but rather, in the future. When that future time comes, then that time will be the present time, at the time in which it must become a reality. In the meantime, it is a prophecy that has been spoken; and because It was spoken It is already the Word of God. Those are God’s thoughts expressed, revealed to a prophet, and spoken by him. And once they are spoken, they are the Word of God. In the meantime, It is the thought of God.
So, for this reason, comes the man that God has in the Divine Program; who will be after His own heart, so that the thoughts of God’s heart are connected to the thoughts of that man’s heart. And those Divine Thoughts enter into the soul, into the heart of that person, and they also become that person’s thought, because then he thinks the Word, the Word for each thing. And then he begins to speak that Word, and to work around that Word; and God begins to quicken that promised Word.
The people to whom he is sent, hear that Word being proclaimed by that man; God opens those people’s heart, that Word, that revelation goes in; they catch It, they understand, and they work around that Divine Project pertaining to that time. And that is the Work of God for that time.
Let’s look at Noah: The Word of God came to Noah, it was revealed to him that God was going to destroy that generation, and Noah was told how to escape the coming judgment; although he would go through that time of judgment, but he was going to escape in a ship called: the ark, and as we call it: Noah’s ark.
Physically working in the construction of the ark was the promised Word being materialized.
When God revealed the tabernacle to Moses, and said to him: “Make it according to how it was shown to you in the mount,”6 and he made it known to the people… and they began to gather the materials, through donations, voluntary offerings. And the money was gathered, the materials; and they worked and they built the ark. Those who knew how to work were there. And that was them working around the promised Word for that time.
And it was a work for God: a tabernacle, a temple, for God to dwell in, and manifest Himself there; for the blood of the atonement to be brought there so that the sins of the people could be covered; and thus, God could have mercy on the people and not see the sins of the people; because they were covered by the blood, although they were not removed; but that was a type and figure of Christ and His Sacrifice, and the Blood of Christ cleansing the human being from all sin.
With the Blood of Christ, sin is taken away, not covered; but the type and figure, the shadow, those sacrifices, testified that a Perfect Sacrifice would come later on, which would take away the sin of the human being.
John the Baptist rightly stated when he saw Jesus: “Behold the Lamb of God, which takes away the sin of the world.”7 And by Christ dying on Calvary’s Cross, He was materializing the promised Word for that time, to take away the sin of the world.
And Jesus was the One who knew who He was, which Scriptures were being fulfilled in Him. That is why on one occasion, He began quoting to those who came from Emmaus the Scriptures: from Moses to the Psalms, the prophets, all those Scriptures that spoke of Him.8
Notice, there were so many Scriptures that spoke of Him… whether in a type or figure, or a direct prophecy, about the Coming of the Messiah. And His disciples didn’t know these things, they didn’t understand them; therefore, it was like religious literature, prophetic or typological literature, or literature that taught them to carry out animal sacrifices; but they didn’t understand the prophetic content which would be fulfilled in the Prince Messiah. He was the only One who could fulfill those Messianic prophecies and reveal them to His disciples; the others wouldn’t understand.
Christ even saw that His own disciples did not understand the Scriptures; and He opened —after He resurrected— He opened their understanding and the Scriptures to them so that they could understand the Scriptures.
It’s because when the person doesn’t understand the Scriptures, he stumbles, he falters, he doubts: “Is it or isn’t it?” But when the individual, when the people, see and recognize the messenger of their time, and follow his Message: with or without problems along the trajectory of that messenger and of the people, they will reach the goal.
The messenger will always, in each age or dispensation, have a part of the Divine revelation that he will not be able to make known, because it is for him. There will be no way to get that out of the messenger.
For example, Reverend William Branham said that what he saw and heard, and the Angel said to him, in the little room in the Tent that he visited, he said: “What I saw and what the Angel told me there, I will take it with me to the grave, I won’t make it known.” The Angel told him: “Don’t say anything about this.”9
The messenger always has a portion of the revealed Word that is for him; which he cannot share with others.
It’s like Moses, like Noah too, like all those people who are identified as messengers of God throughout Biblical history. For example, Moses could not explain how he did the miracles, he couldn’t explain the mechanics. The people saw the dynamics, the action, but he couldn’t explain the mechanics to them.
Look, the copycats from there in Egypt, when Moses brought forth lice, he spoke the Word so that lice would come: the imitators, Egyptian witches or magicians, also brought forth plagues.10 But what was the difference between Moses and them? It wasn’t that they couldn’t produce plagues; it was that they couldn’t get rid of them. The only one who could take them away was Moses. He had the knowledge, the mechanics and the dynamics to bring forth or take away. It has always been like that.
That is why for each time there is promised Word that will be fulfilled by God; and in that promised Word there is a promised messenger, with both consciouses together, who will be God’s instrument for that time. To whom God will reveal His Word for that time, he is going to believe It, God will open his heart, He will give him understanding… like the Angel Gabriel said to Daniel: “I have come to give you understanding, knowledge; to make known to you all those things that will happen.”11
And then He will also give him the knowledge of what to do and how to do things; He will show him which things are promised for that time. The messenger that God has for that time will make them known to the people; and the messenger together with the people will work on that Divine Project; and that promised Word for that time will become a reality.
There will always be those who always want an explanation of everything that is going to be done; in other words, there will be nosy people. But there will also be those who will ask: “What do we need to do? Let’s do it!”
And God will support that work; because that is the Word that God watches over to perform.12
God prospered Noah’s work in the construction of the ark, God prospered the work of Moses in the construction of the tabernacle, God prospered the work of Solomon in the construction of the temple… Although David wanted to build it, but he was not the person for that; and God told him that it would be his son, Solomon.13
But David… Notice, he had been storing gold, silver, brass, copper, iron, wood, for that Divine Project; and even though he couldn’t carry it out, he did not get jealous: he gave everything he prepared to his son Solomon, he told him: “Here is everything I have gathered for that project; and whatever is still needed, you get it. If something is needed…”14 He always left him something to do. And God prospered that work. And the verification or identification that God prospered that work, was that when the temple was dedicated to God, God came and dwelt in that temple.15
It’s like what Reverend William Branham saw: the Angel who accompanied him and the Pillar of Fire going into a place: into a little room in a Great Tent Cathedral, where the Third Pull would be carried out.
That is God’s physical project for the end time. That is the way and the place where the Third Pull will be manifested, where the Angel of the Covenant, Christ, will be; where the Angel that led Reverend William Branham will also be, and where Reverend William Branham will also go… Reverend William Branham will arrive there (whether to visit, in spirit or in the resurrection in the glorified body).
And when the resurrection happens, and the dead in Christ are transformed – resurrected in glorified bodies, and the living are transformed; then there will be a great meeting of all the elect of God.
And where will that be? In the place that God has appointed. And then we will go with Christ to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb. But the place He has chosen for that reunion will be when we are transformed.
We are living in a very important time, in which it is necessary for us to be watching and working. Not sitting around waiting for things to be fulfilled, but instead working, so that God uses us for the fulfillment of those promises, of that promised Word for the end time.
Working around what God has promised is laboring in the Work of God. Working around what God has promised is working on the Divine Project for the time in which the person is living. And those are the people who in each time have been appointed as the people of God, the elect of God of each time. They have always been watching for what is promised for the time in which they appear; and everyone has been watching for the Coming of the Lord.
Some people, who don’t believe, say: “But that… since the time of the apostles they have been announcing that Christ is coming, and they have been waiting for Him; and He has not come.” Because it was not time yet.
The elect of the Mystical Body of Christ must be completed, so that Christ may then leave the Throne of Intercession and come with the little Book open in His hand, as Lion, as King; crying as when a lion roars, and seven thunders uttering their Voices.
Thus taking out of the right hand of God in Heaven (in chapter 5), the Title Deed, the Seven-Sealed Book, which is the Lamb’s Book of Life, the Book that is the Title Deed of Eternal Life, the Title Deed of all Creation, the Title Deed where the names of all the members that the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ would have throughout different times are written. The name of each son and daughter of God, of each elect of God who would become part of the Mystical Body of Christ, is written there.
And if the name that our parents gave us was not the one written in that Book, don’t worry: once we have the new body, we will have it in the new body. That’s no problem; because then the name we have: would be the name of the old body; and the name of the new body: the name that God gave us before the foundation of the world.
“WATCHING AND WORKING.” “WATCHING AND WORKING FOR THE FULFILLMENT OF THE SCRIPTURES.”
In our time, we are watching and working in… and watching everything that has been promised for our time; and working for it to become a reality. And watching for the Coming of the Lord; which will be a mystery that will be revealed in the fulfillment of the Tent Vision in the Third Pull that Reverend William Branham spoke of. Which will give the believers the faith to be transformed and taken with Christ to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb.
Therefore, let’s continue watching for the Coming of the Lord and for all the prophecies, the Scriptures, that must be fulfilled in our time; and watching those which the Lord must fulfill in His Coming; so that we don’t miss those Scriptures and their fulfillment, which in their fulfillment will identify the Coming of the Messiah or the Messiah in His Coming.
As it was in the First Coming of Christ: He was identified by the Scriptures that were promised to be fulfilled by the Messiah. And by Jesus fulfilling those prophecies, He was identified as the promised Messiah. And that was the testimony of God the Father, given through the prophetic Word, of what the Messiah would do in His Coming.
“Search the Scriptures, for they are they which testify of Me. Search the Scriptures, for in them you think you have Eternal Life, and they are they which testify of Me.”16
The Scriptures are the ones that testify what God will do in each time. And for our time, the most prophetic Scriptures have been given to be fulfilled at this end time. Among them, the Coming of the Great Voice of Trumpet or Last Trumpet, the faith to be transformed, the Coming of the Lord, the rapture, the resurrection, the transformation of the living and the rapture; and all these prophecies.
Saint Paul said: “We shall not all sleep.”17 But he slept. But there will be a group of people who will not sleep, who will not die physically, rather they will be in the time of the fulfillment of the Scriptures relevant to the end time; and they will be working around those Scriptures, so that they become a reality. And the fulfillment of those Scriptures will be the Work of God, it will be materialization of the promised Word for the end time.
“WATCHING AND WORKING FOR THE FULFILLMENT OF THE SCRIPTURES.”
That is why we must always be working in the Work of the Lord, according to the Scriptures relevant to this end time; whether we understand them well, or we don’t understand them.
The disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ did not understand the Scriptures, except… perhaps they understood 10% of the Scriptures; enough to know that Jesus was the Messiah.
And after they identify the messenger, the rest is easier. And that is by Divine Revelation, as Christ tells Peter: “Flesh and blood have not revealed it unto you, but My Father which is in Heaven.” That is chapter 16 of Saint Matthew.
And also in chapter 11 of Saint Matthew it tells us that Christ was moved in Spirit and said: “Thank you, Father… I thank You, Father, because You hid these things from the wise and prudent, and revealed them unto babes; for so it seemed good in Your sight.” And no man knows, no one knows who is… what? Let’s read it. That is 11:25 to 27 of Saint Matthew.
“At that time Jesus answered and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes.
Even so, Father: for so it seemed good in thy sight.
All things are delivered unto me of my Father: and no man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal him.”
The Son, Jesus Christ, was revealing God. It was God revealed through Christ. “No man has seen God at any time, but the Son, the only begotten Son of God.” That is in Saint John, chapter 1, verse 18:
“No man hath seen God at any time, the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.”
That is, God was revealed through Christ. Christ was revealing God. The works that Christ did, were the works of God through Christ; it was God through Christ. The things that He spoke, it was the Word of God through Christ. God the Father, speaking through Christ. God the Father, working through Christ.
And then He says: “The works that I do, you shall do also.” And that would be: just as God worked through Christ and spoke through Christ, Christ would be speaking and working through His Church, carrying out the works promised for each time of the trajectory of His Church.
Therefore, we let and allow Christ to work in and through His Church, using His different members of His Mystical Body of believers. And especially, the Church —from age to age— letting God work through the messenger that He has for each time; and united with that messenger, everyone laboring, working in the Divine Program with him.
This is how Christ has been working in the messenger of each time, and through His Mystical Body of believers, and in His Mystical Body of believers.
The Work that God started through Christ, He has continued It though His Church. It is Christ, the Angel of the Covenant, in Holy Spirit in His Church, using the veil of flesh of His Church, His instruments, to carry out the Work relevant to each time.
That is why we always have to watch for the Scriptures relevant to the time in which one lives, watch which ones they are; and work according to those Scriptures. Let the work that is done: be the work according to those Scriptures.
Therefore, we continue WATCHING AND WORKING FOR THE FULFILLMENT OF THE SCRIPTURES.
May the blessings of Christ, the Angel of the Covenant, be upon all of you and also upon me, and may He use us greatly in His Work at this end time. In the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
I will leave Reverend Missionary Miguel Bermúdez Marín with you again to continue. And we will see each other tomorrow, God willing, at the place that has already been established… Now they will… (Where we have been other times?) You know better than I do.
So, God bless you, and continue having a happy evening, filled with the blessings of Christ our Savior.
Miguel, the dessert is over already.
I leave with you… with us, our beloved friend, brother, missionary, minister, apostle, Miguel Bermúdez Marín.
