Our goal: Finish the work that God gave us to do

Good evening ministers, collaborators and other brothers and sisters present on this occasion. It is a great blessing and privilege for me to be with you on this occasion and in this place to share some moments of fellowship with you around the Word of God, in which we will be speaking about the subject: our goal. “OUR GOAL: TO FINISH THE WORK THAT GOD GAVE US TO DO.”

And being aware that we are in the end time, at the Last Day, we must be aware of what God has promised to do in this end time. And who will He use to carry this out? Us. Therefore, we are instruments in the Hands of the Lord, just as Christ was God’s instrument, through the Holy Spirit, to do the Work that God promised for that time.

Christ would continue His Work, the Work of the Holy Spirit, the Work of God, through the Holy Spirit (which is Christ) in and with and through His Church. That is why Reverend William Branham spoke about the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ as the instrument of God, carrying out through the Holy Spirit (the Holy Spirit in and through His Church) the things He has promised for each time. And that is the history of the Church, which is being written through the manifestation of the Spirit of Christ in His Church, who said: “I am with you always, until the end of the world.” And: “Where two or three are gathered together in my name, there will I be in the midst of them.”

And what would He be doing? Would He be watching what we’re doing? No. He would be carrying out, through us, the things that He said He would do. The things promised by God through Christ are the things He would be carrying out at the Last Day, like He did in the different stages of His Church.

It is very important to know, to understand the time in which we were given to live, just like every child of God had to know, in every stage, every age, of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ in order to be hearing the Voice of God through the Holy Spirit, through that manifestation of Christ in Holy Spirit, in His Church through each one of the messengers He sent. And that is how the Work of God, the Work of Christ, was carried out from age to age: by using the members of His Church.

In Revelation chapter 1, verses 10 to 11, the Apostle John tells us the following, and we will read what he says:

I John, who also am your brother, and companion in tribulation, and in the kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was in the isle that is called Patmos, for the word of God, and for the testimony of Jesus Christ.

I was in the Spirit on the Lord’s day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet,

Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: and, What thou seest, write in a book, and send it unto the seven churches which are in Asia; unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamos, and unto Thyatira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea.

And I turned to see the voice that spake with me. And being turned, I saw seven golden candlesticks;

And in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle.

His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire;

And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters.

And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp twoedged sword: and his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength.

And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last:

I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.”

May God bless our souls with His Word and allow us to understand It.

“OUR GOAL: TO FINISH THE WORK THAT GOD GAVE US TO DO.”

And when we finish the Work that God has given us to do, then we will be able to say, “Lord Jesus Christ…” as Christ said: “Father, the work that You gave me to do, I’ve done it, I’ve finished it.” And then He also asks to be glorified: “Glorify Your Son, that Your Son may glorify You.” He asked for the glorification.

And when the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ has finished the work that God has given Her for the Last Day, She will be able to say: “Now, Lord, glorify Your Church.” For which, He will raise the dead in Christ, glorified, and He will change those of us who are alive: He will glorify us.

For the Last Day, according to the promise for the manifestation of the Third Pull, which is the stage of the spoken Word, everything will end with a Great Tent-Cathedral. We know that, Reverend William Branham saw it in the dream, or vision, that God showed him. And he wanted to carry out that work, he tried do it, but it was not for him to carry out. Therefore, he saw It from afar, maybe about 50 years ahead of time, more or less, (in other words, 50 years or more).

He said that vision would be fulfilled. The Third Pull will be manifested in a Great Tent-Cathedral. And who will build that Great Tent-Cathedral? If it were in the time of Saint Paul, it would be Saint Paul and his group. If it were in the time of the second messenger, it would be the second messenger and his group; if it were in the time of the third, or fourth, or fifth, or sixth messenger, it would be the messenger living in that time, because he, along with the group of chosen ones, with the group of the Mystical Body of Christ in his time, had the Work of God for that period of time: the construction of a Great Tent-Cathedral.

If it were for the time the Reverend William Branham, he and the group of his age would have had to build the Great Tent-Cathedral. He tried, but he couldn’t do it because it was not for his time. He saw it, he saw the vision and waved from afar; he was the one who came the closest, and he tried to conquer that promise, but it was not for that time.

Throughout the different stages of the restoration of the Church, beginning with the stage of Luther and his Lutheran Age, then moving on to the Wesleyan Age, and then moving on to the Pentecostal Age… notice the different stages of restoration. And after these three stages of restoration, then comes the stage of the wheat corn, in which the Church, in spiritual terms, resurrects back to the way it was at the time of the apostles; it is a spiritual resurrection: “Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.” [Ephesians 5:14.]

She arises from the last age of the seven ages, and that is a spiritual resurrection, a resurrection from among that seventh age, to be manifested in a new eternal stage in which Christ would also be manifesting Himself, Christ carrying out through His Church the Work pertaining to the Last Day.

He always has instruments to reveal Himself to them and speak through them, to call His people and carry out the Work pertaining to each stage of His Church.

Reverend William Branham foreran the Age of the Cornerstone, including everything that would be in that age. He saw it in a vision, in dreams, and he prophesied what would come after him; therefore, he spoke, he said that these promises will be fulfilled somewhere, and those who live in that territory, in the continent where these promises will be fulfilled, are privileged people.

If it had been in the time of Saint Paul, it would have been in Asia Minor, just like the first coming of Christ was fulfilled in the Land of Israel. Likewise, the promise pertaining to each age is fulfilled in that territory, and from there, that blessing and knowledge spreads to other nations.

Christ was reflected through each messenger of each age, and that is why they were a star in every age, the star of each age, the messenger of each age. And afterwards, we find that Christ will manifest Himself in the midst of His Church, and He will bring a spiritual resurrection, and then He will bring the physical resurrection and the transformation of the believers in Christ who are alive.

And all of that corresponds to the Last Day, called: “the Day of the Lord”, just like among the Jews, the Day of the Lord is the seventh day. And one day before the Lord is as a thousand years; therefore, in prophetic terms, the Day of the Lord is the seventh millennium, the seventh day, represented in Saturday.

This is why the millennium will be the period of time of the Millennial Kingdom, which will be a time of repose, of rest for the Earth and its inhabitants, and it will be the honeymoon of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ and Her beloved Jesus Christ.

Therefore, we have to see the Works that God has promised to be carried out at the Last Day by God through His Spirit, using human instruments, so that we may say: “Lord, here I am, send me, use me according to Your Program.” Because before the Divine Program was made known, before it was prophesied, it was already in the mind of God, and those who would work in that Program were also in the mind of God. We were in the Divine Thought, to be instruments of Christ in the end time in which we have been given to live.

Therefore, let us be working in the Works promised to be carried out by Christ at the Last Day through the members of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ.

I want to read some of Reverend William Branham’s words in The Seven Church Ages, page 172, which says… and page 171, too. It says:

“The first son (Adam) was the spoken seed-Word of God. He was given a wife to reproduce himself. That is why the bride was given him, to reproduce himself; to produce another son of God. But she fell. She fell by hybridization. She caused him to die.”

Die unto what? Unto eternal Life. And that is why he became mortal, because in order to continue living he needed to have eternal Life. He died unto eternal Life, he died to the right to live eternally, both physically and spiritually. He lost the physical eternal Life, and that is why as descendants of Adam and Eve, we are mortal. But that is a problem that Christ will solve, although He already solved it there on Calvary’s cross, but the physical fulfillment of it will be carried out in this end time, in which He will restore unto physical eternal Life all of the members of His Church from the day of Pentecost to the present.

And then we will be as God saw us before the foundation of the world, we will be the way we were supposed to come to Earth through Adam and Eve, but since Adam and Eve fell, then in the Divine Program we come through the Second Adam and the second Eve, which is the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the Second Adam is Christ.

If they had not fallen then, well, the first son they would’ve had was be Jesus, and the offspring of Jesus would have been the believers in Christ who form the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ. In other words, we would be here on Earth physically in eternal, immortal and glorified bodies from the time of Adam and Eve. But there is no problem for God, we are already here, although in a temporary stage, physically, but by having received Christ as Savior we have already been restored to eternal Life and our soul has eternal Life. And we lack the physical restoration, the physical adoption, the redemption of the body that Saint Paul mentioned in Romans chapter 8, verses 14 to 39.

And that is for the Day of the Lord, for the Last Day, for which He said: “And I will raise him up at the Last Day” Therefore, the restoration is already established to be carried out at the Last Day. All we need to understand is which is the Last Day, the Day of the Lord, the seventh millennium from Adam until now. In what year of that Day? I will tell you, when we are changed. I will tell you: “This was the year that we would be changed.” And when that takes place, the Tent Vision will already be well into its fulfilment; because it is in the Third Pull that we receive the faith to be changed, to be glorified, and then go with Christ to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb.

Therefore, our goal is to finish the Work of God, which He gave us to do. The Work that God gave Saint Paul to do, he already did it. The work that God gave the second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth and seventh messengers, they have already done it and left; and those ages have already passed. One cannot expect the first, second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth or seventh age to do the Work of the Last Day, because they already did the work of their time. Now it is up to us, through the Spirit of God, to do the Work of God corresponding to our time.

It is through His Church, and therefore, through the members of His Church, that the Work of God for the Last Day will be carried out. And since I owe you a part of what I was reading, I have to finish reading it for you so that you have a clear picture of what corresponds to this end time:

The second Son (Jesus), also a spoken Seed-Word of God was given a bride like as was Adam…” And that Bride which was given to the second Adam, is who? The Church, the Church-Bride, the Virgin Church of the Lord Jesus Christ which was born at the Day of Pentecost, and She would go through different stages.

But before He could marry her, she also had fallen. She, like Adam’s wife, was put to the test whether she would believe the Word of God and live, or doubt the Word and die. She doubted. She left the Word. She died.

From a little group of the true seed of the Word, God will present Christ with a beloved bride. She is a virgin of His Word. She is a virgin because she knows no man-made creeds or dogmas. By and through the members of the bride will be fulfilled all that was promised of God to be made manifest in the virgin. (In other words, it would have to be manifested in His Church.)

The word of promise came to the virgin Mary. But that Word of promise was He, Himself, to be made manifest. God was made manifest. He, Himself, acted at that time and fulfilled His own Word of promise in the virgin. It was an angel that had brought her the message. But the angel’s message was the Word of God. Isaiah 9:6. He fulfilled at that time all that was written of Him because she accepted His Word to her (remember that the Virgin Mary represents the Church-Bride of Christ).

The members of the virgin bride will love Him, and they will have His potentials, for He is their head, and all power belongs to Him. They are subject to Him as the members of our bodies are subject to our heads.

Notice the harmony of the Father and the Son. Jesus never did anything until it was first showed Him by the Father. John 5:19. This harmony is now to exist between the Groom and His bride (in other words, between Christ and His Church). He shows Her His Word of life. She receives it. She never doubts it. Therefore, nothing can harm her, not even death. For if the seed be planted, the water will raise it up again. Here is the secret of this (in other words, here is this secret). The Word is in the bride (as it was in Mary). The bride has the mind of Christ for she knows what He wants done with the Word.” The Bride Church of Christ knows what He wants to be carried out with the Word.

The Bride-Church will act based on the promised Word for our time, just as it was in other ages. She will be working on what it has been said that God will do in the midst of His Church. His Bride-Church will work around that promised Word, and everything that has been promised will be fulfilled.

She performs the command of the Word in His name for she has “thus saith the Lord.” Then the Word is quickened by the Spirit and it comes to pass. Like a seed that is planted and watered, it comes to full harvest, serving its purpose.

Those in the bride do only His will. No one can make them do otherwise. They have ‘thus saith the Lord’ or they keep still. They know that it has to be God in them doing the works, fulfilling His own Word. He did not complete all His work while in His earthly ministry so now He works in and through the bride.

She knows that, for it was not yet time for Him to do certain things that He must now do. But He will now fulfil through the bride…” Listen carefully: “But He will now fulfil through the bride that work which He left for this specific time.

It is Christ in the Holy Spirit, in the midst of His Church, manifesting in His Church and through His Church, fulfilling what is promised for this end time.

If it has been promised that there will be a Great Tent-Cathedral where the Pillar of Fire that accompanied Moses and accompanied the prophets, that accompanied Jesus and accompanied Reverend William Branham, just as it accompanied Saint Paul and Saint Peter, according to the promise, the Pillar of Fire will be manifested at the Last Day, in His Church, in a Great Tent-Cathedral. It will move into a small room, and the Angel who accompanied Reverend William Branham will be there will also.

Therefore, the Church of Jesus Christ at the Last Day, in the golden stage, not in the seventh age but in the Age of Cornerstone, will have, will build that place in a territory where that golden age will be in fulfillment.

It’s not in Asia Minor, because Saint Paul already left. If it were in the time of Saint Paul, the building of this Great Tent-Cathedral would have to be in Asia Minor; and if it had been in the time of the other five messengers, it would have to be in Europe, and if it were in the time of the seventh angel messenger, it would have to be in North America. We have to locate the territory, the continent, and the people. Reverend William Branham heard the Seven Thunders, and said they spoke in an unknown language, unknown to him, but known to those who were listening to the Seven Thunders speaking.

And what are the Seven Thunders? The Voice of the Mighty Angel that descends from heaven with the Little Book opened in His hand, crying like when a Lion roars. He roars as a lion because He changes from a Lamb into Lion, from High Priest to King and Judge. It is in this end time when this interlace, this change from a Lamb into Lion, and from a High Priest into a Judge and King will take place.

Therefore, let us be prepared, working and doing the Work of God pertaining to this end time through the Spirit of Christ in us, anointing us, inspiring us and using us in that work.

For this end time there is a great blessing for the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ; a blessing so great that it will give us the faith to be changed and to go with Christ to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb before the great tribulation begins. Therefore, in this end time the wise will understand, and they will work; because it is not enough to understand, we must act, and we will obtain the victory in Divine Love, and it will be the victory of Christ with His Church.

I want to go to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb as soon as possible, and I know that all of you do too. But we cannot go without finishing the Work of God, which God has given us to do in this end time. I have to do my part. And you? You must do your part. And all together, we will do God’s Work. It won’t be done by one person alone, because the Church is a Mystical Body of believers.

Therefore, everyone will have the opportunity to be an instrument of Christ for the Work of the Last Day, to do as Christ did when Moses dedicated the tabernacle or temple to God. What did He do? He came to the temple and dwelled in the Most Holy Place. The same thing happened when Solomon dedicated the temple to God: God came in the Pillar of Fire, He entered the temple, and not even the priests could minister, like it happened in the time of Moses, because of the presence of God in the temple; He entered in the Most Holy Place and dwelled in the midst of the two cherubim.

And the two cherubim of gold, like the two cherubim of olive wood covered with gold, tell us about the Two Olive Trees. Remember, the two giant golden cherubim, overlaid with gold, were of olive wood.

Therefore, everything that has been shown in types and figures, in symbols, will be fulfilled in the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ. When it speaks to us about the Two Olive Trees, it is speaking to us about the ministries of Moses and Elijah that will be manifested on Earth.

Therefore, let us be attentive, laboring in the Work that God has given us for today, for today’s time, for the Last Day, for the Day of the Lord, for the spiritual Saturday, which is the seventh millennial day or the seventh millennium, which according to the Gregorian calendar has already started, and we are already well into the Last Day; “Until the day of Jesus Christ,” said Saint Paul.

What is our goal? To finish the Work that God has given us to do. And that includes not only the construction of a Great Tent-Cathedral, but all the work that must be carried out, all the effort that needs to be made to reach that goal. That is why it will be like God told Joshua: “Only be strong and courageous; do not be dismayed,” He says, “because I will be with you.” It is the same way for the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ for this end time: it will be a work in which we have to be strong, in which we have to be brave. And if we are brave, well, we cannot be afraid.

God says to Joshua: “Be not afraid nor dismayed. Do not be afraid or dismayed. Continue to stay strong in what you know that you must do. Continue doing what you must do.” And the promise was that God would be with Joshua.

Reverend William Branham says that Joshua represents the leader of the Last Day, (that is written somewhere) and he represents the Holy Spirit. Therefore, if he represents the leader of the Last Day and he represents the Holy Spirit, then it is the Holy Spirit in the leader of the Last Day. As simple as that; to take us to the Promised Land of the new body, to take us to the Promised Land of God’s Kingdom, physically, with glorified bodies, and to go to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb.

All of this awaits the believers in Christ at the Last Day, upon accomplishing the goal, upon finishing the Work which God has given them to do at the Last Day.

And in order to carry out the goal that God has given us to carry out: the Work of the Last Day, even if we have to sell pastries, sell tamales, sandwiches or whatever it may be, the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ will complete the Work pertaining to the Last Day. And if there is something easier to sell that produces more money, we will also do it.

God will provide us what we need to sell to make money and accomplish our goal. And when we finish all of the Work, everyone will be able to say: “I have a small part in that Work of God that has been done.” Someone else may say: “I have a bigger part.” Hopefully everyone can say: “I also have a bigger part.” And that everyone be able to say: “We all have the biggest part in the Work of God, because we have done it being aware of what the Work of God had to be for the Last Day; the Work of God in the spiritual field and in the physical realm as well.”

Because we don’t only work in the spiritual realm: we work in the physical realm, based on the things which were not seen, because the things that are seen are made of the unseen; but they are there in the Word. Then they are seen, but in word form, in God’s Word, and then they are seen fulfilled on Earth; and all of that comes together, and then we can say: “That’s what it says here in the Scripture, that is God’s promise quickened, confirmed, made a reality.” Just like we are the Divine Word, God’s thought made a reality in a person who has a name, that was a thought of God in the mind of God, a Divine attribute.

Every promise of God is a Divine attribute to be materialized on this Earth. Therefore, let us work being aware that the work we do is THUS SAITH THE LORD. And therefore be able to say, when we have to say why we do this work, we can say: “Because THUS SAITH THE LORD that we would do this at the Last Day.

I congratulate you for working in God’s Work of the Last Day. May God bless you greatly, and may He prosper you spiritually and materially, and use you greatly in His Work of the Last Day; and may God do great things through each one of you. And the works of God promised for the Last Day, may He carry them out through all of you, and also through me, because I don’t want to be left out of the Divine Program.

It has been for me a great privilege and blessing to be with you, and share these moments with you, speaking about the Work of God relevant to this end time, and how God will carry it out through His Holy Spirit, to His Church at the Last Day.

I could not hear what the missionary Miguel Bermudez Marin and Ruth Florez said, and the others who spoke.

I was over there studying and you can’t hear well there, you can tell that they are speaking, but you can’t understand very well; and I was also studying, to share these moments of ministerial fellowship with you tonight.

So, may God bless you greatly and use you greatly in His Work in this Last Day, being aware of why we do things in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ: because it is a work done in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, and for the Lord Jesus Christ, to see Him manifesting Himself in the midst of His Church. That is the greatest blessing that Christianity has, which is promised for the Last Day, which will result in the rapturing faith and the transformation of God’s chosen ones, and the resurrection of the believers in Christ who died physically.

We are in a time in which we all want to see the fulfilment of what God has promised, we want to see our transformation, we want to see the House of our Heavenly Father, we want to go to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb; and we have THUS SAITH THE LORD to work in the Lord’s Work. It has been this way from age to age, the Church has worked with THUS SAITH THE LORD. She has worked with what Christ has been speaking through His Spirit in each age, and She has worked around that Word.

The Word has told them and tells them what they must do. And how does the Holy Spirit teach His Church? In the manner established by God, that is how the Church learns and works.

I cannot continue because the next service is on Friday, and we cannot skip ahead to Friday, Saturday and Sunday’s messages, in which we expect great blessings from God.

May God continue blessing all of you. Miguel… since Miguel likes dessert very much, it seems that he wanted dessert, and it has been a blessing for me too because I’ve have also eaten the dessert.

Remember the coming of the Son of man will be like the lightning that comes from the East, and where does it travel to? Where does it shine? In the West. Therefore it is in the West that the Son of man will manifest Himself in His coming. And we are going to stop there, because that already corresponds to the Seventh Seal, that is the Seventh Seal.

And the Seventh Seal is promised to be opened to the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, which the Thunders of Revelation chapter 10 are the Voice of Christ crying as when a lion roars, speaking to His Church consecutively; no longer through the first messenger, and then the second messenger… in the golden age of the Church, the Age of the Cornerstone there won’t be a number of messengers, there won’t be seven messengers to speak through one and then through the other and then another. He will speak consecutively at the Last Day.

And we will know how He will speak: as He spoke in the Seven Church Ages, and He will reveal Himself just as He revealed Himself in every age. It was the revelation of Jesus Christ from age to age, through His Spirit in the messenger of each age speaking to people. That’s why it says: “He who hath ears to hear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.” And how did He speak? Through the messenger of each age.

May God bless you and keep you; and until next time, because if we continue, the Seventh Seal will be opened.

God bless you and keep you, and may you all have a good evening, and until Friday, Saturday and Sunday, because wherever you are gathered, the broadcast reaches everyone.

Well, here is Missionary Miguel Bermudez Marin to continue or conclude. May God bless you and keep you.

“OUR GOAL: TO FINISH THE WORK THAT GOD GAVE US TO DO.”
