Good afternoon, beloved friends and brethren present, and all those who are connected through the internet or Amazonas satellite. It is a great blessing and privilege for me to be with you on this occasion to share some moments of spiritual fellowship with you around the Word of God.
For this occasion, we have the reading of Revelation chapter 22, verses 16 to 17, and it says the following:
“I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.
And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.”
May God bless our souls with His Word and allow us to understand It. Our subject for this occasion is: “UNITED WITH THE ANGEL, WORKING ON THE DIVINE PROJECTS.”
In the Divine Program we have the different manifestations of God both in the Old Testament or Old Covenant, as well as in the New Covenant, the New Testament, where we have always seen God’s Presence manifested; that is how it is shown in Biblical history. We have seen Him manifested in the form of light, a pillar of fire, the Angel of the Covenant; and on some occasions He has allowed Himself to be seen in the form of a man from another dimension, in other words, of an angel, called the Angel of the Covenant, the Angel of God, where we can understand that it is God’s heavenly body or theophanic body or body from another dimension; and it is also called the image of the living God. The image of God is His heavenly body called the Angel of the Covenant, who is Christ in His heavenly body.
And then God’s physical likeness is Christ in His physical body two thousand years ago, His body of flesh called Jesus, born through a virgin of the seed of King David; and that physical body is God’s physical likeness.
That is why Christ said: “He that hath seen me hath seen the Father,”1 just like any of you can say that whoever has seen you, has seen the one whom your name refers to; because he has seen (what?) your physical likeness. But despite all that, in Saint John chapter 1, verse 18, it says: “No man has seen God at any time, the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he has declared him,” (in other words, He has made Him known).
On some occasions, when the Angel of the Covenant would appear and speak with different people on different occasions, those who had that experience of seeing that Angel said that they saw God. It’s like when a person sees the spirit or heavenly body of another person, he says: “I saw So-and-so,” but what he saw was his heavenly body. Also when he physically sees the person, he says: “I saw So-and-so,” but what he saw was his earthly house; because the person is a living soul, who lives on this Earth among human beings in a physical body, where the person’s heavenly body is as well.
Such is the mystery of God and of Christ. That is why Christ would say: “My Father is greater than I.”2 Because God the Father is greater than the house in which He dwelt. Notice, that is what it talks to us about in Hebrews chapter 3, verse 1 and on, and other passages where it tells us that He who builds the house is greater than the house.
And Christ said on one occasion: “Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.” Everyone thought He was speaking about the building made of stones, but He was speaking about His physical body, which is the human house of God, the house where God dwelt in all His fullness.
Just as the Apostle Paul also tells us in Corinthians3 and other Scriptures,4 that we are a temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in us. If we are a temple, we are a House of God.
In the Old Testament the house of God was the tabernacle that Moses built, and then the temple that King Solomon built; and the people of Israel as a people are the people-house of God.
Now, in the New Covenant the House of God, the spiritual Temple of God, is the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ; and therefore, every believer in Christ is also a house of God, a temple of God for God to dwell in the person. And God’s dwelling place in the tabernacle that Moses built and in the temple that King Solomon built was the most holy place, upon the mercy seat (which was the cover of the ark of the covenant); that’s where God dwelt between those two cherubims of gold that were on the mercy seat (which was also made of gold, that cover of the ark of the covenant was also made out of gold).
And now, in the New Testament we find that the Church, the spiritual Temple of God, is being built in the same order. We find that the greatest thing is what a type and figure is derived from. The tabernacle that Moses built and the temple that King Solomon built is the type and figure of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ and of each believer in Christ as an individual.
That is why Christ said: “Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up,” speaking of His body of flesh: “Destroy this body, and in three days I will resurrect it,” that is what He was telling them; and on the third day, He resurrected it. That is why it says: “But He was not speaking about the temple of stone, rather He was speaking about His body, His body as a spiritual temple.” That is around Saint John… Saint John chapter 2, that’s where we can find it. I will give you exactly … Saint John chapter 2, verse 19, says:
“Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.
Then said the Jews, Forty and six years was this temple in building, and wilt thou rear it up in three days?
But he spake of the temple of his body.”
In other words, the physical body is a temple; the physical body of Jesus is the perfect temple of God. And that is why animal sacrifices are no longer made, because in the temple and through the temple of God, the perfect sacrifice of Christ was made to take away the sin of the human being; animal sacrifices are no longer required.
And now, the Church is the Temple of God as a mystical Body of believers, and each believer in Christ as an individual is a temple of God. Notice, Hebrews chapter 3:
“Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our profession, Christ Jesus;
Who was faithful to him that appointed him, as also Moses was faithful in all his house.
For this man was counted worthy of more glory than Moses, inasmuch as he who hath builded the house hath more honour than the house.
For every house is builded by some man; but he that built all things is God.
And Moses verily was faithful in all his house, as a servant, for a testimony of those things which were to be spoken after;
But Christ as a son over his own house; whose house are we, if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm unto the end.”
Here we can see that now the House of God in the New Covenant is the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ; and every believer in Christ as an individual is a house of God, for God to dwell in Holy Spirit in the person’s soul.
Just like in the tabernacle that Moses built and the temple that King Solomon built, God’s dwelling place was also the most holy place; and therefore, the most holy place in a person is his soul.
And now, just as God worked with and in His people Israel, the earthly people, He has been working in the heavenly people, which are the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ; that is where we see the Holy Spirit working and fulfilling the promises pertaining to each time.
And just as He sent prophets – judges and prophets to the Hebrew people, and He revealed Himself and revealed to them the Word God wanted to speak to the people (which He did through the prophets), now under the New Covenant, He is among His people, His spiritual Temple, which is His Church, and He has sent apostles, prophets, evangelists and pastors to His Church.5
And since the Word of God doesn’t come to the people except by the Holy Spirit through the prophets, for each stage of His Church He has sent a messenger to whom He has revealed Himself and has revealed the Word of God pertaining to that time, and he has proclaimed It; and with that Message, the group of God’s elect has been called in each age. That is the way.
And the messenger catches, proclaims, preaches that Message (that is sounding the Trumpet of God); and God calls and gathers that messenger, the elect of each age; and among them He raises up pastors, evangelists, missionaries, and so on, who remain united with that messenger. And the Word that God gives that messenger, those missionaries and pastors and evangelists take It and also bring It to other places, and God uses them that way; and that is how God calls and gathers His elect in each age.
This means that if God is going to gather elect at a certain time, then God is going to speak and call. Christ said: “Other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear My Voice; and there shall be one fold, and one Shepherd.”6
The Voice of God, the Voice of Christ, is the Voice of the Holy Spirit from age to age, manifested in the messenger of each age, revealing to the messenger His Word for that age; and him speaking It, proclaiming It; and anointed with the Holy Spirit, that is the Voice of God for that time, for that stage, for that age of the Church.
And to be hearing the Voice, the Message of that messenger, is to be hearing (what?) the Voice of God; the Voice of God by the Holy Spirit through the instrument that He has for that time. That was what Rev. William Branham spoke about when he said how the whole Divine Program worked.7
He also said to us that the Angel who revealed all those visions to John… Notice, in An Exposition Of The Seven Church Ages, page 241, it says:
“‘And I will give him the morning star.’ According to Revelation 22:16, and II Peter 1:19, Jesus is the Morning Star. ‘I am the root and offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.’ ‘Until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts.’ The Spirit is, therefore, making a promise to the elect of the Dark Ages relative to Himself and then in the ages to come.
As we have already stated, Jesus identifies Himself with the messengers of each age. They receive from Him the revelation on the Word for each period. This Word revelation brings the elect of God out of the world and into full union with Jesus Christ. These messengers are called stars because they shine with a borrowed or reflected light of the Son, even Jesus. They are also called stars because they are ‘holders of light’ at night. Thus in the darkness of sin, they bring the light of God to His people.”
And Rev. William Branham, speaking about the Angel who gave John the revelation of the book of Revelation, notice what he says… This is on page 40 and 41, paragraph 330, of the book of Quotations. It says [60-1204M – “The Revelation Of Jesus Christ,” p. 16]:
330 – “108 And it was sent to the…‘And signified this by his angel unto John.’ We do not know who the angel was. The Bible doesn’t say who the angel was. But we know that it was a prophet, ’cause the Bible later said, that, ‘I Jesus have sent my angel to testify these things which must shortly come to pass.’
109 Then we find out that when John started to worship the angel, the angel said, ‘See that you do it not.’ Revelation 22, I believe it is. And he said, ‘For I am of thy fellowservants and of the prophets.’ It might have been Elijah. It might have been one of the prophets. John was an apostle. But this prophet was sent.
110 And John, being an apostle, look at the nature of the rest of his epistles, prove that it wasn’t John wrote it, because it has no nature like John. Take First John, Second John, so forth, and read it. And look at the nature of that, then look at the nature of this. John was a writer and was an apostle, but this is the spirit of a prophet. It’s a different person, altogether.”
And then on pages 346 and 347 of the book The Revelation Of The Seven Seals, speaking about this Angel of the Lord Jesus Christ, Rev. William Branham says:
“[201] Now, now, notice now.
202 And then according to the—the time that God was going to deliver the antediluvian world, He sent the eagle.
And time He was going to deliver Israel, He sent the eagle.
203 Do you believe that the time, even on John, on the Isle of Patmos, this Message was so perfect that He couldn’t trust It with an Angel? You know, an angel is a messenger. But do you know the messenger was a prophet? You believe that? [Congregation says, ‘Amen.’—Ed.] Let’s prove it. Revelation 22, let’s see if it was a eagle.” (Remember that eagles represent prophets.) “Yeah. See, he was a…Sure, he was an angel, he’s the messenger, but it was a prophet that revealed this whole Book of Revelation to him. (…)
205 Watch what John seen here.
…I John saw these things, and heard them.
206 Now he’s closing. This is the last chapter.
…And when I…heard and seen, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel which showed these things, which showed me these things.
207 And, ‘he,’ then, ‘the angel,’ see.
Then said he to me, See thou do it not:…
208 No true prophet would be worshipped, or messenger of any kind, see. That’s to God alone.
Then said he unto me, See thou do it not: for I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them that keep the sayings of this book: worship God.
209 See? Now, the Book was so important, that, It is the Word of God. Now watch. And when the Word of God is brought forth, It’s got to be brought by the prophet, because that’s who the Word of God comes to.”
In other words, in every time in which God is going to reveal His Word, there will be a messenger of God, a prophet of God. “Surely the Lord God will do nothing without first revealing His secrets to His servants, His prophets.” (Amos chapter 3, verse 7.)
Now, we have the fact that God’s Word must be revealed at this end time. Christ, the Mighty Angel of Revelation chapter 10, comes with the little Book open in His hand and He must give It to His Church; and for that, there must be a prophet in His Church, to whom comes the Word of God for the time in which He will give the Title Deed to His Church.
The Seven-Sealed Book is opened in Revelation chapter 5 and 6, and 7 and 8; and then brought to Earth in Revelation chapter 10, and given to His Church through a man represented in John the Apostle. Remember that John represents the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ with all the messengers that She would have.
At the Last Day, just as the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ has been going up from age to age, from one age to another…; and every time She has to go up from one age to another, God sends a messenger and He puts His Word in the heart, in the soul, in the mind, and in the mouth of that messenger, and He anoints him with His Spirit; and He speaks through that messenger and calls His people of that time; and thus, the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ is being formed, It grows as a spiritual Temple, according to First Peter chapter 2, verses 4 to 6.
The believers in Christ are like living stones, they are the ones of which Christ said that “God was able of these stones to raise up children of Abraham.”8
That is why the believers in Christ are also sons and daughters of Abraham who form the spiritual Temple of Christ from age to age. And then comes the crowning stage of the Church, which is the Age of the Cornerstone or Cornerstone Age, the Golden Age of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ.
That Golden Age is parallel to the time of the First Coming of Christ. In that time of an Age of the Cornerstone is when Christ came in His earthly ministry; and at the Last Day, for His Second Coming, there must be an Age of the Cornerstone to which He comes to manifest Himself and fulfill the final part of the Coming of the Lord, which has two parts: The first part is the First Coming, and it was already fulfilled two thousand years ago in the midst of the people of God, the Hebrew people, the Church of the Old Covenant; and the Second Coming is for the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, God’s sons and daughters of the New Covenant.
That is why in the midst of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ since the day of Pentecost until now, Christ in Holy Spirit has been working, who said: “I will be with you always, even unto the end of the world.” Saint Matthew chapter 28, verse 20; and Saint Matthew chapter 18, verse 20, says: “Where two or three are gathered together in My Name, there will I be.” That is why we find Christ in Holy Spirit in the midst of His Church, from age to age, in the midst of Christianity, which is where the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ is, which is where the wise virgins are, which is where the wheat is, which are the children of the Kingdom of God.
And therefore, that is where Christ through His Spirit manifests Himself; that Pillar of Fire, that Light, manifests Himself to those messengers, from age to age, He anoints them, they are anointed with the Spirit of God. Just as the prophets spoke anointed by the Holy Spirit, likewise, these messengers speak anointed by the Holy Spirit; and what they say is fulfilled.
And now, for Christianity, everything that happened with Israel under the Old Covenant, is what would happen under the New Covenant in the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, different stages, different messengers, and a different people from stage to stage. In other words, new people in which the Divine Program, God’s Plan, is being carried out; and those people work along with the messenger of their age, and that is working with the Angel of God, the Angel of the Lord, Christ in Holy Spirit through the earthly messenger, from age to age.
In other words, the heavenly Angel, which is Christ in Holy Spirit – the Holy Spirit works through the earthly Angel of each age, He speaks to the people, calls and gathers His elect from age to age; and at the Last Day, He will also call us with that Great Voice of Seven Thunders, and give us the faith to be changed and taken with Christ to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb; and we will also be hearing the Great Voice of Trumpet pertaining to this end time, so that the resurrection of the dead in Christ and the transformation of us who are alive may come. That is God’s Program for this end time.
Therefore, there will be a people, there will be a ministry also manifested through an instrument that He will have, an instrument that He will have at the Last Day, and the Tent Vision will be fulfilled, the Third Pull that He will manifest in that Tent Vision will be fulfilled; and He will give us faith to be changed and taken with Christ to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb. So, every believer will be working united with the earthly Angel and the heavenly Angel.
That is how it has been from age to age, that is how it has been in the Old Covenant and also how it is in the New Covenant; and we are covered with the Blood, not of animals but of the New Covenant, of Christ our Savior; and we are united with the Angel working on the Divine projects relevant to this end time. Just as Christ did nothing except what the Father showed Him, and that was doing God’s will,9 doing what was promised that God would do through the Messiah at that time.
God always has instruments to carry out what He said He would do. He will always do it using instruments of flesh, blood, and bones. And the glorious thing and the wonderful thing is that when that is fulfilled or being fulfilled, those whom God is using begin to realize that God is the One who is using them in His Program, in His projects, in His projects pertaining to the end time.
If God said, for example, that He would raise the dead in the time of the Coming of the Messiah, well, Christ was raising the dead and He was fulfilling what He promised, and so on; that is why He said to John: “Go to John and tell him (who was in prison): ‘The dead are raised, the blind see, the lame walk, the deaf hear and to the poor the Gospel is preached.’”10 Look at those things; and that was what Christ was doing. John had to understand that when those promises were being fulfilled with and through a Man, that would be the Messiah, that would be the identification of the Work of the Messiah in His First Coming.
And now, what we must see is: which are God’s promises for the Last Day, for the Second Coming of Christ, for the end time, God’s promises of what the ministries of Moses and Elijah will also carry out at the Last Day; and when we see that happening, then we must have our eyes open to understand that we are standing before what God promised for this end time.
And He said that – He showed Rev. William Branham a Great Tent Cathedral and the things He would be doing there; so, when you see that promise of a Great Tent Cathedral, that is where He will fulfill the Third Pull, which Rev. William Branham spoke of. Now, we don’t know if it will be at the beginning of that Vision of the Great Tent Cathedral, or during the middle or at the end; because we are not the ones who set conditions for God, it is God who already has His Program; He will do it the way He thought of before the foundation of the world. So, you came too late to advise God. The Scripture asks: “Who has been His counselor?”11 Who was His counselor to advise Him to have a Great Tent Cathedral where He would manifest Himself in all His fullness? Well, He thought of that before the foundation of the world. Therefore, neither you nor I advise God; but He advises us, that is the most important advice.
On one occasion, He said: “When you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, that is the hour; the time for its destruction has come. Flee out of Jerusalem, those who are in Jerusalem; and those who are outside of it, don’t come back to Jerusalem; because that is the time for its destruction.”12 In other words, the sign of seeing Jerusalem surrounded by armies, which was when the Roman General Titus besieged Jerusalem for two years, that was the time for Jerusalem’s destruction.
See? There are always signs; and we must not overlook those signs that He said would be seen. We have to realize the time in which God promised that those prophecies would be fulfilled.
As for the Tent Vision, which is completely tied to the Bride-Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, where the Third Pull, the stage of the spoken creative Word, will be manifested, that will also give us the faith to be changed, and it will also give us the revelation of the Second Coming of Christ, of His new Name; and thus, it will give us the faith, the revelation to be changed and taken with Christ to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb.
Let’s be prepared with our spiritual eyes wide, wide open.
We are in the stage of the Age of the Cornerstone, where all the promises of the Last Day must be fulfilled. All the promises that Christ has made His Church must be fulfilled at this end time; all the promises that were not fulfilled in past ages, why weren’t they fulfilled? Because they were for us, for each one of you and for me too.
Of all the times in Christianity in which the blessed ones, the members of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, the elect, have been, this is the most glorious time. This is the most glorious time in which the believers in Christ come up to the stage of the Age of the Cornerstone, the Golden Age, the Age of the Most Holy Place of the spiritual Temple of Christ; in other words, we have the greatest blessing.
The greatest blessing always comes at the end; for example, at the marriage in Cana, the best wine came when? At the end, when they were out of wine, then Christ turned the water into wine, and that was the best wine;13 and the wine represents the stimulation by the revealed Word that comes to the people. In other words, the time of the best wine is our time.
We are at a very important time. Remember that back then it was at a time of marriage that the best wine came at the end; and remember that we are at the time of and for the Marriage Supper of the Lamb in Heaven; we are at the time of and for the Marriage of the Lamb, the Marriage, the union of Christ and His Church. And if there is a wedding, there is wine.
Remember that wine represents the stimulation produced by wine; and that fills people with joy and happiness; and they know where they stand spiritually, they know the age, the stage of the Divine Program in which they are living in the mystical Body of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Blessed are the people who can see the age in which they have been given to live, and occupy their position working united to the Angel and with the Angel on the Divine projects of the time in which they were given to live.
And we are given at this time to work on the Divine projects that have already been established to be carried out in the Divine Program; so that He can then recognize that in each project of God for His Church pertaining to the end time, we have done our part, we have been a part of all the Divine projects that have been carried out by Christ in and through His Church on this Earth; and we say: “I don’t want to lose the opportunity to work on the Divine Project, on all the Divine projects; not just one, but all the Divine projects.”
Therefore, have your spiritual eyes wide open, because there are many Divine projects in God’s great Project; there are many stages, many Divine projects to be carried out. I want to be in all the Divine projects that He has for this end time; and not be a spectator, but an actor, participating, acting, working with the heavenly Angel and the earthly Angel that He has at our time; working with Christ in Holy Spirit in the midst of His Church.
Just like in each age they worked with Christ, the Angel of the Covenant, together with the messenger, the angel that He had for each age; may it be that way in our time for each one of you who are present and those who are in different nations.
And may God bless you greatly and use you, united with the Angel, working on the Divine projects pertaining to this end time. In the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
And tomorrow we will see each other, God willing. We will have the subject: “When the Son of Man comes, shall He find faith on the Earth?” And we will see that subject to the extent that God allows us to hear.
May God bless you all and keep you all, and use you greatly in His Work at this end time.
I leave Rev. Epifanio with you to… here he is. God bless you. God bless you, Epifanio.
