Good morning, beloved brethren and friends present, and those in other nations, ministers, churches, brethren believers in Christ. It is a great blessing and privilege for me to be with you on this occasion to share with you some moments of fellowship around the Word of God.
I would like to greet Senator Blanca Fonseca, who is with us, a close friend of ours from Paraguay. Also among us is Francisco Guerra, coordinator of the Global Embassy of Activists for Peace in Mexico.
Also, greetings to missionary Miguel Bermudez Marin there in Venezuela and his wife Ruth, and all the ministers and churches in Venezuela and also in every country.
Yesterday, Saturday, our brother Feliciano Cortes from Waco, Texas, United States of North America, departed; for which, I express my condolences to his wife, Irene Cortes and their daughters: Estefany, Edith, Alejandra, Irene, and Teresa, and other family members. Once again, to all family members, receive my condolences, and may God bless you and comfort your hearts knowing that he went to Paradise, because he is a believer in Christ, and from over there he looks towards here and sees us all; for example, he sees over here (in this service) and he sees us very happy, and over there, in Paradise, they are very happy together with all the other believers in Christ who have departed.
On this occasion we have two documentaries. The first one: “World Environment Day,” which shows the works carried out in different countries; and the second one: the contributions made by Paraguayans for The Great Tent Cathedral project. So you may go ahead with the documentaries.
[Presentation of video-documentaries]
We have seen the work carried out in different countries on “World Environment Day.” And we have also seen the support that Paraguay, as well as other countries, is giving to the project of construction of The Great Tent Cathedral, a temple for the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
When the tabernacle that was built by Moses in the desert, he was given the pattern, the design; and in that pattern, silver was utilized, gold was utilized… because the most holy place was laid with gold, the wood was laid with gold inside and outside; and the cherubim that were upon the ark of the covenant were also made of pure gold, and the ark was made of wood but covered in gold.
In other words, there have always been people who support God’s project for the time people are living in.
Also, when the tabernacle or temple was built in Jerusalem by king Solomon, also thousands of people voluntarily gave offerings for that construction, that project; they gave gold, silver, iron, bronze, wood, and so forth, just as they did for the construction of the tabernacle in the time of the prophet Moses.
And the people joyfully supported that project, because God would give people the opportunity to do something in the Work of God.
God always gives people the opportunity to work in His Work; and that is something that transcends to Heaven, it transcends to eternity; that is why the Scripture teaches us that everyone who has worked in the Work of God will be rewarded; that is why in the parables we see Christ giving people rewards.
And in the book of Revelation, chapter 22, we see the Lord speaking here and saying… Chapter 22, verse 12, of Revelation, says: “And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.”
Your reward will be according to your work; that is why He also taught us to lay up treasures, where? In Heaven: “But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven,” where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves cannot steal from you those rewards1</a>; nor do they lose their value but instead their value multiplies. That’s how it is in Heaven.
In a few moments we will read a Scripture that we will use. I wish to congratulate: Happy birthday Sara Melendez Perez, wife of Reverend Jose Benjamin Perez from Puerto Rico, from The Great Tent Cathedral, whose birthday was yesterday. And congratulations to everyone whose birthday is on this month. One year closer…
Some people get sad when they celebrate a birthday, they say: “One more year… a year older, my years are increasing.” Some say: “A year older or one more year.” But when one knows the Bible, the Word of God, one can say: “A year closer to our transformation, a year closer to the eternal youth,” because there is a promise that Christ in His Second Coming will resurrect His believers who have died in glorified, eternal, immortal, and young bodies for all eternity; representing 18 to 21 years of age, which is the prime of life. That is what every person wants.
That is why people fix themselves up and all, once they pass that age; before that age, some don’t even worry, because anyways they look good; but when they reach a certain age, they fix themselves to look better; but when they are 18 or from 13 to 21 years old, they do not need to fix themselves up. That is how it will be in the new body that Christ has for all His believers.
And what about those who will be alive when that happens? Well the promise is that we will be transformed. We will receive that transformation, wherein we will obtain a young, eternal, immortal, glorified body like the glorified body of Jesus Christ our Savior, who is as young as when ascended to Heaven.
Remember that when Christ died He was about 33 years old, but when He resurrected, not even His disciples recognized Him. He had to identify Himself because they did not recognize Him. In other words, in the resurrection there is a change, and that means that in the resurrection the person will physically represent 18 to 21 years of age because it will be in an eternal, immortal, incorruptible, and glorified body to never die again.
In other words, we will physically enter into eternity with the body we will have throughout eternity. It will not be this one, but the one God designed for us since before the foundation of the world. This one we have came through our earthly parents, but the one He will give us comes from our heavenly Father, that is why it will be eternal.
But our parents did a lot: they gave us this mortal body we have, so that we can make contact with eternal life through Christ, to secure our eternal future in the Kingdom of God. And whoever does not take advantage of that opportunity, loses the biggest opportunity of living eternally in the Kingdom of God.
That is why Christ ordered His disciples to go into all the world and preach the Gospel to every creature, and “he that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.2” It is as simple as that. It is a matter of life or death.
It is like in the Garden of Eden, where God placed the Tree of Life (who is Christ) and the tree of knowledge of good and evil. Because the human being, since it was created in the image and likeness of God, God gave him free moral agent; just as God has free moral agent.
The human being is the one who resembles God the most. Therefore, when God was made flesh among the human beings, when the Word was made flesh and dwelt among us, who did He have to resemble? The human being, He had to be like humans, because that is the only thing that is to the image and likeness of God.
The angels are to the image of God, but they do not have the physical likeness (which is the physical body); they have a heavenly body, a spiritual body, a theophanic body, similar to our physical body but from another dimension, from the sixth dimension. The spirit of the believers in Christ are from that dimension; that is why when they physically die they go to the dimension of the angels, to Paradise, taken to Paradise by the angels of God.
That is what Christ taught in the passage of Lazarus the beggar and the rich man: when the rich man died he was taken to hell, and when Lazarus the beggar died, he was taken to the Bosom of Abraham, to the Paradise of that time.3
In other words, the right we have to choose is a matter of life or death, due to the free moral agent that God has granted us.
Every person is responsible to choose for themselves, and God recommends to us, saying: “Choose life, so that you may live”4</a>; because God wishes for us to live eternally. But since we have free moral agent, we all have the responsibility to choose whether we will live eternally or not, cease to exist.
And living in these bodies and seeing how beautiful, how wonderful it is to exist…, and even though we have a temporary, mortal body, which gets sick and has financial needs and need of food, and so forth, we struggle a lot; but with all that, it is wonderful to be aware that we are alive in these bodies. But the purpose transcends: it is for us to have the opportunity to choose eternal life, which is Christ, and live eternally in the Kingdom of God.
It is important that every human being understands the meaning of his existence here on Earth. He who does not understand this and does not receive Christ as Savior, he has lost the opportunity to eternal life. As simple as that. Christ Himself said: “He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.”
Therefore, we must understand that we are in these mortal bodies for a period of time; therefore, it is not a matter of how many years we will live; whether it is a little or a lot, it doesn’t matter; what matters is that we wake up to reality that there is an opportunity to live eternally in the Kingdom of God, receiving Christ as Savior, being baptized in water in His Name, and being baptized by Him with the Holy Spirit and Fire, and producing in us the new birth. It is as simple as that.
When the person is born again (of which Christ spoke to Nicodemus in John, chapter 3), he is born in the Kingdom of God, and consequently, he is born in and to eternal life.
Let us see our subject for this occasion in more detail: “THE POSITION OF THE CHURCH OF (THE CHURCH OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST) IN THE LAST DAY.”
For which we read in Ephesians, chapter 1, verses 3 to 14, where Saint Paul says:
“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:
According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:
Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,
To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.
In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;
Wherein he hath abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence;
Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself:
That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him:
In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:
That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ.
In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,
Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.”
May God bless our souls with His Word and allow us to understand It. In the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
“THE POSITION OF THE CHURCH IN THE LAST DAY.”
The Church is called the Mystical Body of Christ, made up by all the believers in Christ from the different stages of the Church, since the Day of Pentecost to the present time.
The members of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ are the sons and daughters of God born again, born again in the Kingdom of God; and therefore, they have eternal life, because they are born again; they were not born to a temporary life to which we were born when we were physically born through our earthly parents, but rather we were born to eternal life in the Kingdom of God, in the Kingdom of Christ our Savior.
The Church of the Lord Jesus Christ is a family, God’s family, the sons and daughters of God, for which we call God: our Father.
In Ephesians, chapter 2, verses 11 and on, Saint Paul tells us:
“Wherefore remember, that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands;
That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:”
In other words, the person without Christ is without hope and without God in the world; but when he receives Christ as Savior he has hope and has God.
“But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.”
See how important the Blood of Christ is for the believers in Christ.
“Because He is our peace…”
That is why when the person receives Christ, he receives peace in his soul. Because a person without Christ, does not believe, does not know that after his days on Earth end, the person continues living; only the physical body dies, but the person is a living soul, and he also has a spirit, which is a body from another dimension; that person continues living in the spiritual body he has. If he is a believer in Christ: he goes to Paradise, which is the sixth dimension; and if not, then he goes to another dimension until the day of the final judgment: he goes to the place the rich man went to, the rich man of the parable told by Christ about the rich man and Lazarus the beggar.
While we are on this Earth, we must be aware of what we are: we are human beings, and therefore, we have a soul, we are a living soul; that is what the person truly is: a living soul. And he has a spirit, which is a spiritual body from another dimension, in which he continues living when his physical body dies; and he has a physical body to live a period of time on this earthly dimension and has the opportunity to receive Christ as Savior, so that Christ may give him eternal life.
Christ did say in the parable of the Good Shepherd of chapter 10 of the book of John: the Gospel according to John, chapter 10, verses 27 and on, says: “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father’s hand. I and my Father – my Father and I are one.”
Now, notice, these people who would receive Christ as Savior are the sheep of the Father, they are the people who were in God’s mind to live eternally in the Kingdom of God; that is why they are called sons and daughters of God. They are the divine thoughts expressed in human flesh here on Earth.
Due to the problem that happened about six thousand years ago in the Garden of Eden, we had to come in these mortal bodies, in the permissive will of God. If nothing happened back then, we would be in our young and eternal bodies for all eternity. But that is not a problem, Christ took care of that on Calvary’s Cross. We will have the eternal, immortal, incorruptible, and young body like the one Jesus Christ has; and we will live eternally physically in the Kingdom of God. The Scripture says that we have been chosen, predestined, elected.
Every father has thought about having children before, and he even thought about the names he will name them. He says: “If it is a boy, I will call him such</em>; and if it is a girl, I will name her this,” and like that, the husband and wife come to an agreement and they rejoice when the boy or girl is born, they bring happiness to the home; and they tell the baby: “We were waiting for you!”
In past times, among the Jews, when women were giving birth, the name was mentioned and named him or her at that point of time. They surely had the name already chosen, and pronounced the name of the boy or girl.
And if we do this, how much more God! If our father or mother made a mistake by not giving us the name we will have eternally, do not worry: we will have the name God has for us, the one by which He knew us before the foundation of the world. Therefore, if father and mother failed in giving us the proper name, then our heavenly Father will have it for us.
Our earthly parents were neither able to give us an eternal body, because what they inherited was also temporary; that was the inheritance Adam and Eve left for us.
Therefore, as inheritance we have a mortal, corruptible, temporary body, but with the opportunity to be born again, as Christ said to Nicodemus when he visited Him that evening and asked Him, he said to Him: “We know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him.” Christ directly responded: “Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”5
Nicodemus thought he had to be born again through his mother; but if it was possible to be born from his mother, he would die again, because our earthly parents can only give us, can only offer us a mortal, temporary body; but the new birth is unto eternal life. Therefore, we go through certain stages to be able to have the promised eternal body.
When Christ heard Nicodemus, who was an important master in Israel and a member of the Sanhedrin Council, He said to him: “Verily, verily, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.”6
In order to enter into the Kingdom of God, it is required to be born again, to be born of the Water and the Spirit: of the Gospel of Christ and of the Holy Spirit. Just as to enter into this earthly kingdom where we live, what did we have to do? Be born. And the Kingdom of God is in the form of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ.
We enter into the Kingdom of God by being born again and we then form part of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, where Christ is in Holy Spirit according to what He said: “I am with you always, even unto the end of the world.” Matthew, chapter 28, verse 20. And in Matthew, chapter 18, verse 20, it says: “For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.”
In other words, Christ did not abandon His believers. His physical glorified body is in Heaven, in the Throne of God, where He said He would sit, and He is as a High Priest making intercession with His Blood for everyone who would receives Him as Savior; and also for all the believers who commit faults, mistakes or sins, and confess them to Christ, and Christ cleanses them from all sin with His Blood and thus keeps them cleansed from all sin.
But it is the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Christ was sent on the Day of Pentecost; Christ in Holy Spirit came on the Day of Pentecost to those one hundred and twenty believers in Him, and they were baptized with Holy Spirit and Fire7</a>; and from there on all the believers in Christ are being baptized with Holy Spirit and Fire, and therefore, they have been obtaining the new birth and are born in the Kingdom of God, and therefore, their souls have obtained eternal life; and then they enter into a stage in which they persevere all the days of their lives, serving Christ along with all the other brethren believers in Christ.
That is why the believers in Christ are called brethren, because they belong to a family, they are children of the same heavenly Father, of God, through Christ. And the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ goes through different stages, where sons and daughters of God are being born; their period of time living here on Earth ends, and they go to Paradise… on vacation (some for a longer time than others), but then everyone will return in the Last Day, for which Christ said in John, chapter 6, verses 39 and on… verse 37 and on, says:
“All that the Father giveth me shall come to me (He is talking about people)<em>;…”
“All that the Father giveth me shall come to me;…” They are the sheep of the Father that are given to Christ, who come to Christ when they hear the preaching of the Gospel of the Kingdom – the Gospel of Christ.
“All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.
For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.
And this is the Father’s will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.
And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.”
To come to Christ and receive Him as Savior is a matter of eternal life. That is why Christ commanded to baptize – to preach the Gospel and baptize everyone who receives Christ as Savior.
By receiving Christ as Savior the person eats from the Tree of Life, which is Christ.
There is no literal tree of life, but rather Christ is the Tree of Life. If there would be a literal tree that a person can eat from and live eternally, we would not need Christ to give us eternal life.
The conquerors were also looking for the fountain of the water of life, and they thought it was a river; and they would get into the rivers, but that did not work.
Christ on one occasion, in John, chapter 7, verses 37 to 39, said: “If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. But this spake he of the Holy Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive.” In other words, Christ is the Fountain of the Water of Life; and the Water of the Life is the Holy Spirit, which He gives to those who receive Him as Savior. As simple as that.
That is why the conquerors did not find the river of water of life, because the river of Water of Life is Jesus Christ our Savior.
That is why in the book of Revelation, it tells us… Chapter 22, verses 5 to 7 – chapter 21, verses 5 to 7 (and then we will read chapter 22). Chapter 21, verses 5 to 7, says:
“And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.
And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.
He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.”
Now, notice how God, these people who would drink from the Fountain, which is Christ, they would drink from the Water of Life, in other words, they would drink from the Holy Spirit, here God tells them that they will be His children and He will be their God:
“…and I will be his God, and he shall be my son (this is for the overcomer).”
It says: “He that overcometh shall inherit all things.”
We are heirs of God, of our heavenly Father. Just as earthly children are heirs of their parents, the children of God are heirs of God and they are joint-heirs with Jesus Christ our Lord. To everything Christ is heir to, we are also heirs.
Therefore, it is important to drink from the Fountain of the Water of Eternal Life; in other words, to drink and receive the Spirit of Christ, because Christ is the Fountain of the Holy Spirit, which He gives to all His believers.
Let us read the passage I quoted to you a few minutes ago, of John, chapter 7, so that we see how He refers to the Spirit of God that will come – that would come upon His believers. John, chapter 7, verses 37 to 39, Christ says. This was on the last day of the feast, the Feast of the Tabernacles:
“In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink.
He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.
(But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)”
In other words, the Water given by the Fountain (Christ) is the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of eternal life; and He is the only one who can give the Holy Spirit; He is the only one who has the exclusiveness to eternal life to give to everyone who receives Him as only and sufficient Savior. And He is in the midst of His Church since the Day of Pentecost, in Holy Spirit, producing the new birth in millions of human beings who have received Him as only and sufficient Savior.
The Church has passed through different stages. All of them have been difficult. The Church of the Lord Jesus Christ has been persecuted, and martyrized in different times; but the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ made up of God’s elect, who are born again and have been willing to give their lives for Christ in the time they were allotted to live has remained loyal.
The Church has passed through different stages, just as men and women do on this Earth. We go from childhood to youth, then to young adults, then we go through another stage, and then we go through a stage of adulthood, and then to the third age or elderly stage (as it is called), in which the individual knows he has a short time on Earth.
But the believer in Christ has the promise that even if he dies, he will live, said Christ in John, chapter 11, verses 21 to 27, when He was speaking to Martha, Lazarus’ sister, who had died (and had been dead for four days); and Christ went; and Martha and Mary, Lazarus’ sisters were surprised because they had sent a message to Jesus that His friend Lazarus was sick, and Jesus did not show up; they sent for Him to pray for Lazarus and heal him, and Jesus did not come.
Anyone might have thought, and maybe they thought: “Our friend, now that we need Him, He is not around; even after all the favors we did for Him…; but we continue believing in Him.” They may have gotten upset with Him, playfully, perhaps. And when He appears, they did not know that it was for the manifestation of the glory of God, that Jesus did not come when He was told that he was sick.
Which is greater: to heal the sick or raise the dead? Resurrecting someone who had died, and was dead for four days, and whose flesh is corrupting; and Christ said that it was – that He delayed, and did not go, because it was for the manifestation of the glory of God.
And as Christ always said, that He did nothing of Himself but what He saw the Father do, that is what He would do. What the Father showed Him, that is what He did. Therefore, in regards to Lazarus, the Father showed Him that He would raise him up; therefore, he had to wait for him to die.
And also for the believers in Christ, Christ says in John, chapter 11… A believer in Christ does not fear death, because he knows where he is going to: he is going to Paradise, and from there he can look over here and be in all the services, singing from over there, seeing and hearing the preaching, without waking up early to go to work, and without having to deal with the heavy traffic in the mornings and evenings.
But what they do over there does not account for the Work that is being done in the time which is being lived on Earth. They are spectators over there, but us here we are actors. They did their part and now it’s our turn.
Therefore, although there are many problems on this Earth, it is better to be here, only if you’re going to be working in the Work of the Lord. Otherwise, you will be working for yourself, for the things of this world and that will have no reward; unless you merge it with the Work of God, just as Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the patriarchs, the apostles and so forth, did.
The greatest project in which you can work is in the Work of the Lord, because that transcends into eternal life. “Behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.8” And you will receive that reward in the Kingdom of God, to enjoy it throughout eternity.
Some people think and say to themselves, or tell others: “In eternity, in the Kingdom of God I want to have the biggest reward.” Then, get to work in the Work of God. It is the only way you can receive rewards in the Kingdom of God. “But lay up for yourselves treasures (where does Christ say?) in Heaven.” And treasures are laid up by working, being hand in hand in the Work of God, in the Program of God for the time in which a person is living.
For example, if we were living in the time of Noah, how could we have been working in the Work of God? There, with Noah, because that was the Work of God for that time; and even if it was bringing water or lumber to Noah, whatever it was, but being within the Program of God.
And in the New Testament there is a lot of work that is being carried out since the days of the apostles until now, as it was in the days of Jesus. There was a lot of work in the days of Jesus, and those who were working with Him in the Work He was carrying out would be blessed.
For example, I once said something like… something about that Jews would not work if there wasn’t any money, something like that, which a renown Rabbi from Israel said to me, that they were not volunteers but worked for money; and I mentioned the case of the apostles, when Jesus was talking to them, and Christ said to them: “Ye…” They said to Christ, they asked Christ: “What will we have (that is, in Your Kingdom)? What will we have?” Christ said: “In the Kingdom, in the regeneration, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.” That is in Matthew… Luke 18 and also Matthew… and Matthew 19. Let us read both places.
In the Kingdom of God there are great rewards for the believers in Christ. Notice, Luke, chapter 18, verses 28 to 30, says:
“Then Peter said, Lo, we have left all, and followed thee.
And he said unto them, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or parents, or brethren, or wife, or children, for the kingdom of God’s sake,
Who shall not receive manifold more in this present time, and in the world to come life everlasting.”
And in Matthew, chapter 19… Let us read chapter 19, verses 27 and on; says:
“Then answered Peter and said unto him, Behold, we have forsaken all, and followed thee; what shall we have therefore?
And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, (in other words in the Throne of David) ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.”
In other words, the position these apostles will occupy will be of judges, and they will be at the head of the twelve tribes of Israel. In other words, it will be the most privileged position a person can occupy in the Kingdom of the Messiah in Israel.
Judas Iscariot lost the blessing, but Saint Paul received God’s blessing by receiving Christ as Savior and became the apostle to the gentiles.
Also, in the midst of Christianity, among the gentiles, there are great blessings for all the believers in Christ. There are important positions like the positions of the messengers of every stage of the Church, of every age, and just as the apostles will sit in twelve thrones to judge the twelve tribes of Israel, the messengers of the different stages of the Church will have to deal with the gentiles, with the gentile people, and with everyone who will enter into the Messianic Kingdom, which will be established on Earth.
The Church has been going through different stages; for every stage the Message of the Gospel of Christ has brought the Message, the part of the Gospel corresponding to each age, where He has raised a messenger for each time; and Christ through His Spirit has called and gathered, through that ministry, those who will form the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ in His time; and from there it has spread to many nations for the calling of each stage of the Church.
The Church of the Lord Jesus Christ has passed through seven stages, seven ages, and now it has ascended higher, to a stage parallel to the time of Jesus during His ministry. Christ, the Cornerstone, was there; therefore, that stage was the Age of the Cornerstone, the age or stage of the First Coming of Christ.
Now the Church has ascended to a stage parallel to that stage; for which that stage of Cornerstone, the stage to which Christ will come in His Second Coming to seek and take with Him His believers of the Last Day.
We are in a time parallel to the time of Jesus, we are in a time parallel to the time of Noah, we are in a time parallel to Abraham and Lot, we are in a time parallel to the time of Sodom and Gomorrah for the world; in other words, the world is in a time parallel to Sodom and Gomorrah, which was destroyed with fire and brimstone; because humanity is reaching the time in which the divine judgments will fall upon the planet Earth.
But let us not talk about the judgments that will fall upon the Earth, on this occasion we will not talk about them, we are talking about THE POSITION OF THE CHURCH IN THE LAST DAY.
The Church as a Mystical Body of believers is in the stage of the Cornerstone, the golden stage of the Church, to whom the Lord will come in His Second Coming with the believers who had died, who He will resurrect; and He will transform those who will be alive; and after a period of time here, in glorified bodies, then He will take us with Him to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb.
Just as Enoch and Elijah the prophet were taken up in a chariot of fire, which is a flying saucer, a UFO, the believers in Christ will also be taken in chariots of fire to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb.
Therefore, the sons and daughters of God who will be transformed and taken to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb will be prepared in the Last Day. And those who departed will be watching from over there, and they will realize that soon they will return to Earth and that they will be able to eat as they did before. That will be of proof for them that they will be in a glorified body like the one of Jesus Christ. And we who are alive, once we are transformed, we will also be able to eat.
Remember that when Christ resurrected He was able to eat: He ate a piece of fish on one occasion, and on another occasion He was at the shore, and He had a fire of coals, and a fish on it, cooking (He knew how to cook); and He tells His disciples to cast the net to the right side and they would find fish; they did so and got a multitude of great fishes, and the net almost broke. And when they came to where He was, they see Him with a fish on the fire, cooking it to have breakfast. Then He tells them to bring the fish and put some on the fire and prepare their breakfast (in modern-day words).9
And notice, we can eat in the new body, in the eternal body Christ will give all His believers. Because if we are going to reign over the Earth, we will be in contact with everything related to Earth, with nature. And in the Millennium we will eat too, we will live the kind of life everyone has wished to live on this planet Earth: a peaceful life, a life of peace even among animals. The lion, the bears, the sheep, the cattle and all together will be able to eat hay; and thank God that lions will eat hay in the Millennium.10 In other words, they will have a peaceful life in the Millennial Kingdom of the Messiah.
The Jews are alert at this time because they know that this is the time for the Coming of the Messiah, and they are awaiting the Messiah; and they will see Him coming to the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, which is the one who is within the current Covenant, the New Covenant. And consequently, they are the sons and daughters of God in the Mystical body of Christ who make up the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, and they are waiting for the Father of the family, who is Jesus Christ our Savior. He is the second Adam.
Therefore, let us be prepared, because each year, month and day that passes by we get closer and closer to the glorious time we are anxiously awaiting.
Some may say: “I still do not want to be transformed.” Then stay for the great tribulation.
Be ready before God, awaiting the fulfillment of what He has promised. Whoever thinks he would not desire this, it would have to be because they are thinking positively: “It is to work more in the Work of the Lord.”
We won’t leave until we finish the Work that must be carried out, until the last elect of God enters into the Mystical Body of Christ, until the last son or daughter of God is born in the Kingdom of God. Remember, you are members of the Kingdom of God, the members of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ our Savior are princes and princesses.
Anyone may ask: “And where does he get that they are princes and princesses?” From here, from the Bible. Revelation, chapter 1, verse 5 to 6, says:
“…And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,
And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.”
He washed us with His precious Blood, He washed us from all sin, and He made us (what?) kings and priests. In other words, the believers in Christ belong to the heavenly Priesthood Order of Melchizedek, from the heavenly Temple, and they belong to the Kingdom of God; therefore, they are also kings and they will reign with Christ in the Millennium and then throughout eternity. Chapter 5 of Revelation, says, verses 9 to 10:
“…And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;
And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.”
In other words, nowadays some have a position, a profession, a common job or occupation, but in the Kingdom of the Messiah, the believers in Christ who make up the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ will be as kings, priests, and also as judges.
Saint Paul says in First of Corinthians, chapter 6, verses 1 and on:
“Dare any of you, having a matter against another, go to law before the unjust, and not before the saints?
Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters?
Know ye not that we shall judge angels?”
To the angels who rebelled against God, which will be judged; and Saint Paul says that we will judge the angels. In other words, the believers in Christ who form the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ are also judges, because to everything Christ is heir to His believers are also heirs to.
Christ is the Judge who God has placed over all of the living and the dead, and therefore the judicial power, which is composed by the Supreme Judge, who is Christ, and the rest who make up that group or the judicial power… which are those who form the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ. And they are kings of the heavenly Kingdom that will be established on Earth, and during the Millennium it will be connected to the Kingdom of David, according to the divine promises.
The Kingdom of David is the earthly Kingdom of God, the Throne of David is earthly Throne of God. The heavenly Throne is in Heaven, where Christ is seated; but Christ has the promise of sitting on the Throne of David. He is the heir to the Throne of David. The Archangel Gabriel said to the virgin Mary, in Luke, chapter 1, verses 30 to 36… he said that God would give Him the Throne of David and reign upon the house of Israel forever.
In chapter 20, also of Revelation, verse 4 and on, says:
“And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.
Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.”
One thousand years to begin with and then throughout eternity.
The Church is the place where the Spirit of God, the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Christ dwells, guiding Her, teaching Her, protecting Her and using Her in the preaching of the Gospel, working in the Work of Christ. Therefore, it is a great privilege to be a part of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ.
The individual is written in Heaven, in the Lamb’s Book of Life, since before the foundation of the world; and the person does not know that until he receives Christ as his only and sufficient Savior. Those are the sheep of the Father, which were given to Christ to seek and give eternal life to; Christ died for them on Calvary’s Cross.
That is the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, which has been passing through different stages and in this end time it is found in the most glorious stage of all stages, awaiting the Coming of the Lord and the resurrection of the dead believers in Christ and the transformation of those of us who are alive.
If there is someone who has not yet come to the Feet of Christ, whether they are here present or in other churches that are connected to this broadcast, you may come to the Feet of Christ and we will be praying for you so that Christ receives you in His Kingdom, forgives you and with His Blood cleanses you from all sin, and be baptized in water in the Name of the Lord, and Christ baptizes you with the Holy Spirit and Fire, and brings forth the new birth in you.
The most important thing is eternal life. There is nothing more important than life.
God has many people in the Republic of Argentina and He is calling them at this time to place them in His Mystical Body of believers, in His Church, producing in them the new birth.
Christ said: “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father’s hand. I and my Father are one.” That is what Christ says in John, chapter 10, verses 27 to 30.
He also said11: “Him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.” Why? Because He also said12: “No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him.” In other words, he that comes to Christ is because God the Father brought him to Christ to receive salvation, the redemption He purchased for us on Calvary’s Cross.
Until the individual receives Christ, the salvation is not effective for the person, although Christ obtained it for us about two thousand years ago on Calvary’s Cross.
It’s like a check that someone gave to you; it can be for thousands or millions of pesos or dollars, but it is not effective until you cash it. Until you use it, until you cash it, it is not effective, no matter the amount on it.
You can buy a car or a house with an amount of money, but until you cash, make it cash, it you can’t benefit from the value of the check. And both salvation and the value of salvation are not effective to the individual until he receives Christ as his only and sufficient Savior.
Let us stand up. Those of you in different nations can also come to the Feet of Christ our Savior.
Children 10 years of age and older can also come to the Feet of Christ our Savior.
Remember that the most important thing for the human being is his soul. The heart is synonym of the soul. A living soul is what a person truly is, that is why the body can be changed for an eternal and glorified body that Christ will create for His believers, a transformation.
Let us wait a few seconds to pray for everyone who is coming to the Feet of Christ on this occasion.
Remember that our soul cries out for eternal life. That is why when a person gets very old, that person’s soul cries out from inside: “My time is running out, I need another body, I need to be younger in order to continue living.”
Because our time here on Earth has a purpose: to make contact with Christ and receive eternal life by receiving Christ as our only and sufficient Savior.
With our heads bowed and our eyes closed:
Heavenly Father who art in Heaven, I come to You in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ bringing before Your presence all these people who are receiving Christ as their only and sufficient Savior. Receive them in Your Kingdom, oh God! I pray to You in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
Those who have come to the Feet of Christ on this occasion repeat this prayer after me:
Lord Jesus Christ, I heard the preaching of Your Gospel and Your faith was born in my heart.
I believe in You with all my soul; I believe in Your First Coming and I believe in Your death on Calvary’s Cross as the Sacrifice of the Atonement for our sins; and I believe in Your Name as the only name under Heaven whereby we must be saved.
I acknowledge that I am a sinner and that I need a Savior, a Redeemer. I give public testimony of Your faith in me and my faith in You, and I receive You as my only and sufficient Savior.
I pray that You forgive my sins and with Your Blood cleanse me from all sin, and may You baptize me with the Holy Spirit and Fire after I am baptized in water in Your Name, and bring forth the new birth in me.
I want to be born again, I want to be born in Your Kingdom, I want to live eternally with You in Your Kingdom. Make in my life a reality the salvation you purchased for me on Calvary’s Cross. I pray to You in Your Eternal and glorious Name, Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
Now, since you have received Christ as Savior, you may ask: “When can you baptize me? Because Christ said13: ‘He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.’”
Since you have believed in Christ with all your heart, you may be baptized, those of you here present and in other nations; and may Christ baptize you with the Holy Spirit and Fire, and bring forth the new birth in you.
Water does not take away sins, the baptism in water is typological, but it is a commandment of the Lord Jesus Christ, who commanded all those who believe in Him to be baptized in water in His Name. Because in the baptism in water we identify with Christ in His death, burial, and resurrection. That is the symbolism of the baptism in water.
Therefore, when a person receives Christ as his Savior, he dies to the world; when the minister immerses him in the baptismal waters, he is typologically being buried; and when he is lifted from the baptismal waters, he is resurrecting to a new life: to eternal life with Christ in His eternal Kingdom.
Therefore, you may be baptized; and may Christ baptize you with the Holy Spirit and Fire, and bring forth in you the new birth in you: being born in the Kingdom of Christ our Savior.
I leave with you here, the minister, Reverend Guillermo Rodriguez to let you know what to do to be baptized in water in the Name of the Lord; and in each country I leave each minister to do the same.
May God bless you and keep you, and we will continue seeing each other eternally in the Kingdom of Christ our Savior.
