First Kings chapter 17, verse 1 and on, and it says:
“And Elijah the Tishbite, who was of the inhabitants of Gilead, said unto Ahab, As the Lord God of Israel liveth, before whom I stand, there shall not be dew nor rain these years, but according to my word.”
May God bless our souls with His Word and allow us to understand It. In the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
“SHOWERS OF BLESSING BY THE WORD OF ELIJAH AT THE LAST DAY.” That is our subject for this occasion.
Throughout the Scripture we find, both in the Old Testament as well as in the New Testament, even in the Message that Christ was preaching, speaking to us about the Water of blessing that He would pour out for the believers in Him. He says: “If any man thirsts, let him come to Me and drink. But this He spoke of the Spirit, which they that believed in Him would receive.” That is in Saint John, chapter 7, verses 37 to 39.
And now, we find that through the prophet Joel, in chapter 2, God also promised the Former Rain and Latter Rain. Therefore, that speaks to us about an outpouring of the Spirit of God that came on the Day of Pentecost and an outpouring of the Spirit of God that will come at this end time, to carry out the harvest of God’s sons and daughters; that is, of the wheat that is promised in Saint Matthew chapter 13, verses 30 to 43, where Christ, through the Gospel of Saint Matthew, says what will be happening at this end time.
In the parable of the wheat and the tares it says, in the explanation that Christ gives in chapter 13 of Saint Matthew, verse 36 and on, He says:
“Then Jesus sent the multitude away, and went into the house: and his disciples came unto him, saying, Declare unto us the parable of the tares of the field.
He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man;
The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one;
The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels.
As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world.
The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity;
And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.
Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.”
Here in this parable, Christ shows us that at the end of time the Son of Man is going to send His Angels to carry out the harvest, the gathering of the wheat; and the tares will be burned, that will be in the great tribulation, where the tares will be burned, as Malachi chapter 4 says:
“Behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the Lord of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch.
But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings.”
In other words, the Sun of Righteousness is Christ in His Coming, and coming with His Wings on each side… on Mount Transfiguration, Moses and Elijah were on each side. It was in chapter 16 of Saint Matthew that He says: “There will be – There are many standing here, which will not taste of death until they see the Son of Man coming…” Let’s read it exactly as it is. Chapter 16, verses 27 to 28 of Saint Matthew, says:
“For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels…”
His Angels are the Two Olive Trees, the ministries of Moses and Elijah that will be repeated to call and gather 144,000 Hebrews, 12,000 of each tribe.
“…and then he shall reward every man according to his works.
Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom.”
We have been translated to the Kingdom of Jesus Christ; and it’s in that Kingdom, made up of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, that He comes, for His Church is the One that has the promise of the Coming of Christ at the end time.
It goes on to say in chapter 17, verse 1 and on [Matthew]:
“And after six days Jesus taketh Peter, James, and John his brother, and bringeth them up into an high mountain apart,
And was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun…”
As Malachi says: “Unto those that fear My Name shall the Sun of Righteousness arise with healing, salvation, in His Wings.” And here, in this vision Christ is showing what the Coming of Christ to His Church will be at the end time, to seek the believers who are alive; to come with those who died and resurrect them in eternal and glorified bodies, and to transform those who are alive, in order to be just like Christ our Savior.
“…and his raiment was white as the light.
And, behold, there appeared unto them Moses and Elias talking with him.”
This is the Order of the Second Coming of Christ, because the Son of Man comes with His Angels. That is what the Scripture that we read tells us.
“For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works.” Chapter 16, verses 27 to 28 of Saint Matthew.
And in chapter 17, He went up with His disciples, Peter, James and John, to show them in a vision the Order of His Coming.
Then, Saint Matthew chapter 24, verses 30 and on, says… Let’s first read verse 27 of Saint Matthew chapter 24. It says:
“For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.”
Then, the same 24th chapter, verse 30 and on, says:
“And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.”
Here Christ shows us again that the Son of Man comes with His Angels. And on Mount Transfiguration, when He showed how His Coming will be, the Angels there were Moses and Elijah; for the promise is (in Malachi chapter 4, verse 1 to 6) that God will send Elijah.
Reverend William Branham knew that a fifth Elijah would come, and that he would come with Moses. They are the ones who appeared on Mount Transfiguration and they are the ones who will call and gather 144,000 Hebrews, 12,000 of each tribe.
Therefore, that is how the Shower of blessing will come by the Word of Elijah to the Hebrew people and to the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ.
There is a great blessing for the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ at this end time, and it’s because God will pour out of all His fullness upon His Church: He will adopt Her, He will transfigure Her, He will transform Her; He will transform our bodies. And then we will all be in the image and likeness of Christ our Savior, to be able to go with Christ to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb.
The Rapture will be in chariots of fire, as was the prophet Elijah; God took him in a chariot of fire.1 Also when Moses died, the Archangel Michael took charge of Moses’ body.2
The Scripture tells us that when the rich man died, he was buried; but when Lazarus died, he was carried by the angels into Abraham’s bosom.3 In other words, when the believers in the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, physically die, they are taken to Paradise by angels.
Therefore, the only hope for the human being is the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, who was made flesh and was known by the Name of Jesus Christ.
Therefore, Jesus Christ is the only hope for the human being. Christ Himself said: “I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life; and no man comes unto the Father, but by Me.”4 No one can reach God unless it’s by Jesus Christ.
Christ is the Angel of the Covenant, the Angel of the Lord, who appeared to the Old Testament prophets, and then He was made flesh and dwelt in the midst of the Hebrew people.
In Zechariah chapter 3 and chapter 4, it speaks to us about that mystery; and in other places in the Scripture it also speaks to us about the mystery of the Coming of the Lord; such as Malachi chapter 3, where it tells us… And let’s read it to have a clear picture. Chapter 3 of Malachi, says:
“Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me,” (that was John the Baptist forerunning the First Coming of Christ), “and the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the Lord of hosts.”
For whom was John the Baptist preparing the way? For the Angel of the Covenant, for the Angel of God, who is Christ in his heavenly body, who would be made flesh; the Word would be made flesh and dwell in the midst of the Hebrew people. John was the one who prepared the way for Him, the forerunner of the First Coming of Christ, the forerunner of the First Coming of the Angel of the Covenant in human flesh. And at the Last Day, God sent the forerunner-messenger of the Second Coming of Christ, to prepare the way of Christ in His Second Coming.
The mystery of the Second Coming of Christ is contained in the Seventh Seal of Revelation chapter 8, verse 1; a mystery that will soon be revealed to the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, which will give us the faith to be transformed and taken with Christ to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb.
The Angel who comes down from Heaven in Revelation chapter 10 has the revelation of the Seventh Seal, who is the Angel of the Covenant, Christ, coming at the Last Day as the Lion, crying as when a lion roars and Seven Thunders uttering their Voices.
And the Church will be hearing the Voice of Christ consecutively; which will be that She will be hearing the Seven Thunders that contain the revelation of the Second Coming of Christ.
That is what the Seven Thunders will be revealing: the mystery of the Second Coming of Christ, which will give us the faith to be transformed and taken with Christ to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb.
Reverend William Branham was also shown that there will be a Great Tent Cathedral, where the Angel of the Covenant, the Pillar of Fire, will move and speak; and He will work in a little wooden place, which will be in a Great Tent Cathedral. That is where God will bring the greatest blessing of all the stages of the Church.
And this is for this end time, for the time in which we have been given to live by the grace and will of God.
There we will see the full manifestation of God’s power. We will receive Showers of blessing: the Latter and Former Rain falling upon the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ at the same time; Showers of the Holy Spirit, of the Spirit of God, to raise our faith to the level that we need to be transformed and taken with Christ to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb.
The Coming of Christ for the Last Day is with His Angels, which are Moses and Elijah, the ministries of the Two Olive Trees being repeated at the end time.
Therefore, let’s be prepared because there are great blessings from God for me, and for who else? For each one of you too. Therefore, let’s be prepared.
The wheat will fully mature with the Sun of Righteousness, the Presence of Christ in His Church at this end time.
It will ripen us in the Word, in the knowledge of His revealed Word, of His revealed promises for this end time, about what God is promised to do at this end time; which God will fulfill, and bring great blessings for all the believers in Him.
And the blessings that the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ has awaited for so long, to receive the faith to be transformed and taken with Christ to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb, will be there.
“SHOWERS OF BLESSING BY THE WORD OF ELIJAH AT THE LAST DAY.”
There are great blessings from God, by the Word of Elijah, Moses, and Jesus, for all the believers in Christ at this end time. The revealed Word, the Seven Thunders of Revelation chapter 10, speaking to us at this end time, in the Age of the Cornerstone, and giving us the faith to be transformed and taken with Christ to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb.
Just like in order to receive the Holy Spirit on the Day of Pentecost, they were believing in the First Coming of Christ and Its fulfillment; for our transformation, believers will be seeing and believing in the Second Coming of Christ at the relevant time, and thus they will receive the faith to be transformed and taken with Christ to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb.
“SHOWERS OF BLESSING BY THE WORDS OF ELIJAH AT THE LAST DAY.”
It has been a great blessing for me to be with you on this occasion.
May God bless you and keep you; and thank you very much for your kind attention.
