The Forty Days of Jesus on Earth Before the Rapture

Good morning, beloved friends and brethren present, and those who are in different countries, ministers and churches gathered today Sunday, the day we have Bible School; and also the day in which we remember the resurrection of Christ our Savior.

On this occasion, I would like to extend a warm greeting to Missionary Miguel Bermúdez Marín, where he is gathered on this occasion, in San Luis Potosi.

For this occasion, let’s read the Scripture of the Book of Acts and in First Corinthians, chapter 15, verse 3 and on. The Book of Acts, chapter 1, verse 1 and on, says:

“The former treatise have I made, O Theophilus, of all that Jesus began both to do and teach,

Until the day in which he was taken up, after that he through the Holy Ghost had given commandments unto the apostles whom he had chosen:

To whom also he shewed himself alive after his passion by many infallible proofs, being seen of them forty days, and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God:

And, being assembled together with them, commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, which, saith he, ye have heard of me.

For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence.

When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel?

And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power.

But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight.

And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel;

Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.”

And First Corinthians, chapter 15, verse 3 and on, says:

“For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;

And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve:

After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep.

After that, he was seen of James; then (He was seen) of all the apostles.

And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time.

For I am the least of the apostles, that am not meet to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church (of the Lord) of God.

But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.

Therefore whether it were I or they, so we preach, and so ye believed.”

May God bless our souls with His Word and allow us to comprehend It.

Our subject for the Bible study today, Sunday, Bible School day, is: “THE FORTY DAYS OF JESUS ON EARTH BEFORE THE RAPTURE.” Before His rapture, before being caught away to Heaven, before the rapture.

The Scripture keeps very secret those forty days of Jesus among His disciples, appearing to them (let’s say) every Sunday, appearing to them and even eating with them; and some didn’t even believe it was Jesus when they saw Him; but others then understood that it was Jesus who had resurrected and was glorified.

We find that that was the reason why they could not recognize Him: because He had resurrected glorified. And the resurrection for the believers in Christ will be in glorified bodies that will represent 18 to 21 years of age; and for the born-again believers in Christ, who will be alive and will be transformed, they will have immortal, glorified, and young bodies for all eternity, which will represent 18 to 21 years of age.

This stage of Christ already resurrected which we find here, of forty days appearing to His disciples, speaking with them, speaking to them about the mysteries of the Kingdom of God, and eating with them… And we find that on one occasion, when the disciples had gone fishing, they didn’t catch any fish; and Jesus (at daybreak) appears at the shore, and the disciples didn’t know it was Jesus; and Christ says to them, He asks: “Do you have something?” They say: “We haven’t caught anything.” That is around Saint John. And when… They say: “We haven’t caught anything,” In chapter 21, verse 1 and on, it says:

“After these things Jesus shewed himself again to the disciples at the sea of Tiberias; and on this wise shewed he himself.

There were together Simon Peter, and Thomas called Didymus, and Nathanael of Cana in Galilee, and the sons of Zebedee, and two other of his disciples.

Simon Peter saith unto them, I go a fishing. They say unto him, We also go with thee. They went forth, and entered into a ship immediately; and that night they caught nothing.

But when the morning was now come, Jesus stood on the shore: but the disciples knew not that it was Jesus.

Then Jesus saith unto them, Children, have ye any meat? They answered him, No.

And he said unto them, Cast the net on the right side of the ship, and ye shall find. They cast therefore, and now they were not able to draw it for the multitude of fishes.

Therefore that disciple whom Jesus loved saith unto Peter, It is the Lord. Now when Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he girt his fisher’s coat unto him, (for he was naked,) and did cast himself into the sea.

And the other disciples came in a little ship; (for they were not far from land, but as it were two hundred cubits,) dragging the net with fishes.

As soon then as they were come to land, they saw a fire of coals there, and fish laid thereon, and bread.

Jesus saith unto them, Bring of the fish which ye have now caught.

Simon Peter went up, and drew the net to land full of great fishes, an hundred and fifty and three: and for all there were so many, yet was not the net broken.

Jesus saith unto them, Come and dine. And none of the disciples durst ask him, Who art thou? knowing that it was the Lord.

Jesus then cometh, and taketh bread, and giveth them, and fish likewise.

This is now the third time that Jesus shewed himself to his disciples, after that he was risen from the dead.”

Because this miraculous catch of fish takes place after the resurrection of Christ, it is very important, given that throughout the Scripture we find that He had also performed the miracle of the multiplication of the bread and fish;[1] and He had also performed the miracle of providing fish when they hadn’t caught any fish, and Christ said to them: “Cast the net on this side,” and they pulled out the net full of fish.[2]

But this catch of fish which we read about today, it says that they caught 153 big fish —meaning, they were big— and the net was able to bear that weight of those big fish that had been caught.

And now, throughout the Dispensation of Grace, the Gospel has been preached to every creature, the net is being cast, as the Scripture says in Saint Matthew, chapter 13, verse 47 and on:

“Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a net, that was cast into the sea, and gathered of every kind:

Which, when it was full, they drew to shore, and sat down, and gathered the good into vessels, but cast the bad away.

So shall it be at the end of the world (this prophecy speaks to us about the end time): the angels shall come forth, and sever the wicked from among the just,

And shall cast them into the furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.

Jesus saith unto them, Have ye understood all these things? They say unto him, Yea, Lord.”

Now, at the end time, just like from age to age the net of the Gospel has been cast, and they have caught fish which have been placed in the Kingdom of God, in the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ; at the end time there will be the miraculous catch of fish, where the Angels will be in charge of putting the good in baskets and casting away the bad.

After the catch of fish from age to age, there will be a miraculous catch of fish, which was represented here in this passage that we have read, where the Angels, who are the ministries of Moses and Elijah, the ministries of the Two Olive Trees, will be present.

The Angels, the Two Olive Trees, at the end time, are the ones that correspond to the prophecy of Christ in Saint Matthew, chapter 24, verses 30 and on, where Christ Himself tells us… Chapter 24 of Saint Matthew, verses 29 to 31, says:

“Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:

And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.”

In the Coming of the Lord, in the Coming of the Son of Man, the ministries of the Angels of the Son of Man, which are the ministries of the Two Olive Trees, will carry out the call to the elect of God, which are 144,000 Jews or Hebrews, 12,000 of each tribe.

We find that there will be a miraculous catch of fish among the Jews, where they will be called and gathered for the remaining feasts: the Feast and in the Feast of the Trumpets, then the Feast of the Atonement, and then the Feast of the Tabernacles, which pertains to the Millennial Kingdom.

Now, we find Christ already resurrected telling His disciples… who had gone fishing and had been trying to catch fish all night but hadn’t caught anything.

That is very important, because as for those big fish, at the Last Day… Remember that there is a Divine Program with the Hebrew people, and that is for after the Church ages end. At this end time is when God will call them through the ministries of Moses and Elijah, which are the Two Olive Trees of Zechariah chapter 4, verses 1 to 14; and Revelation chapter 11, verses 1 to 14.

In the vision that God gave to Reverend William Branham, we find that God showed Him a crystal clear lake, the water was crystal clear, and many fish, trout, were swimming there. And the Angel told Him: “I am going to teach you how to fish.”[3]

Always remember that fish are a type and figure of people; just as sheep are a type and figure of people as well. That is why in the First Coming of Christ it was as the Lamb of God, because He came as a man here on Earth; He was the Son of Man.

And now, in the vision or dream that was shown to Reverend William Branham, the Angel tells him: “Prepare your hook with the fishing line and the bait, and throw it out into the deep.” He did so; and the Angel said to him: “Well done.”

Then He says to him: “Now give it a hard pull, and the small fish will follow the bait.” And that is what happened.

And then he was told: “Then the big fish are going to see the little fish following the bait, and the big fish are going to come out – to follow after the little fish.”

And for the second pull… For the first pull he pulled it fast; for the second pull he was told: “Now you do it slowly.” And he did it so quickly that the hook came out with a very small fish on it. He couldn’t catch the big fish.

There is always a mechanism, a way, according to the Program of God, to carry out the Work of God in each time; and one must follow the way of God revealed to His Church.

Then He took him higher up, to another dimension, where he was lacing a shoestring, a shoelace, into a baby’s shoe; and the shoestring, the shoelace, didn’t fit because he wasn’t using the thin end, he hadn’t realized that it —the shoestring or shoelace of the little shoe— had a thin part so that it could go into that place, the eyelet, of the little shoe.

Then he goes on to a higher dimension, where he sees a Great Tent Cathedral; and it was a full place, a place full of people, who were receiving Christ as Savior.[4]

And then came the time to pray for the sick; and there was a little wooden place, and the Angel of the Covenant went to that place, who was in the air, and so was Reverend William Branham, and the Angel that accompanied him as well; and the Pillar of Fire went to that place. That Pillar of Fire is Christ, and It went all the way to that place; and the Angel and Brother Branham also went all the way to that place.

In other words, being up high in that Great Tent Cathedral, they went down to a little wooden room of approximately 20 by… 12 x 20, 12 feet by 20 feet in size, Reverend William Branham calculated. And people went in sick and came out well on the other side, through the other door.

It was said to Reverend William Branham, who was there and saw everything that was taking place in that little room; and the Angel says: “Do you remember the name you were looking for when you had the vision?”[5]

In other words, there is a name there, and no name is more important than the Name of God. And wherever the Angel of the Covenant is, whose Name will be there? God’s. And he was seeing everything that was taking place there. And he was told: This is the Third Pull, and you won’t tell anyone.”[6]

Now, notice how, in the stage in which he was catching the big fish, he was moved to another dimension.

And now, we find that there will be a miraculous catch of fish in the fulfillment of the Tent Vision among the Gentiles, and then with the Hebrew people: 153 big fish; a type of the elect of God of the end time.

Something major is about to happen soon, where we will receive the faith to be transformed and taken with Christ to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb.

During the forty days of Jesus resurrected, appearing to His disciples, He was teaching them, speaking to them about the Kingdom of God; therefore, they were being prepared to receive the Spirit of God, which Christ had spoken to them about on different occasions.

A very important stage for the Day of Pentecost, which was for the new birth to be received by those who would be in the Upper Room waiting for the Coming of the Holy Spirit, and therefore, the coming of that inner transformation that the believers in Christ would receive; where everyone who was present there would be born in the Kingdom of God. This is referring to the 120 who received the Holy Spirit.

The number 120 is very important, because Moses also had the number 120: he lived 120 years. And there are six thousand years in 120 years. One hundred and twenty years of jubilee take place —those 120 years of jubilee— in a time period of six thousand years.

The number 120 is very important. The number 40 is a stage of trial, of preparation, to enter into the promised land.

And now, we find that there will be a time in which Christ will give us the faith to be transformed and taken with Him to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb. And all of that pertains to the day or time of the Age of the Cornerstone, which is the Messianic Age of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Remember, the First Coming and the ministry of Christ… The ministry of Christ was in the Messianic Age, which crowned the Church of the Old Testament, composed of Hebrews; and the Messianic Age at this time is the stage, the Age of the Cornerstone, which crowns the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ of the Last Day. That is where the prophetic events for this end time, a blessing to the believers in Christ, will be taking place.

Notice, Christ appeared to His believers. It is a stage that will be repeated at this end time. The Third Pull will be repeated at this end time, where the Third Pull is for the Bride-Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, it will also be for the foolish virgins and for the world.

That Pull, that Third Pull, is the stage of the manifestation of Christ in Holy Spirit in the midst of His Church at the end time, in which we have been given to live; and it will be preparing us for our adoption, which will be our glorification, to be just like Christ, and the resurrection of the dead in Christ into glorified bodies.

We are very close to the resurrection of the dead in Christ and transformation of us who are alive.

Therefore, let’s be prepared and holding on tighter to Christ our Savior every day, as Jacob did to the Angel in chapter 32, verse 24 and on, of Genesis. Jacob held on to the Angel, and that Angel is Christ in His heavenly body; he held on to Christ, the Angel of the Covenant, who has the Name of God; and he wouldn’t let go of the Angel until the Angel blessed him.

The blessing is more important than all the money and cattle he had. And that’s how it should be for everyone. God’s blessing is the most important thing for the human being, because in God’s blessing is the salvation of our soul and all other blessings that accompany the person who receives the salvation of his soul.

“THE FORTY DAYS OF JESUS ON EARTH BEFORE THE RAPTURE.”

The Church will also spend, before the rapture, thirty to forty days in that manifestation of Christ in His Church, in the Third Pull mentioned by Reverend William Branham, where all the born-again believers in Christ of the past will be resurrected in eternal bodies; and the born-again believers of the end time will be transformed. And so, there will be the visit of Christ in the midst of His Church, like God’s visit to Abraham, when Sodom and Gomorrah were going to be destroyed.[7]

Remember that Sodom and Gomorrah represent the world, the kingdom of this world, which will be destroyed with atomic, volcanic, and other fire that will burn those days. But Elohim’s visit was to Abraham; and Elohim’s visit at this end time is to the seed of Abraham.

The spiritual seed of Abraham is the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the physical seed of Abraham is the Hebrew people. As simple as that. Whom both have the promise of Elohim’s visit in the Last Day, and that will be the visit of the Messiah in His Coming, to bless Israel and to bless the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, too.

We are in the days like in the time of Noah. That is what Christ said the time for the Coming of the Son of Man would be: a time like in the days of Noah, and also a time like in the days of Lot.[8]

So, in both, on both occasions God appears in a visible form, and He ate with Abraham when He visited him. And when the Angels visited Lot, the Scripture doesn’t say if they ate or not;[9] but they had already eaten with Abraham. Therefore, that visit shows us that there is a great blessing for the believers in Christ of the end time.

All the born-again believers in Christ are the seed of Abraham, because they are the spiritual seed of Abraham. And the Hebrew people are the physical seed of Abraham.

Therefore, to be the seed of Abraham and have God’s blessing, the Birthright Blessing, the believers in Christ didn’t have to be born as Jews, rather, God among the Gentiles has been calling out a people for His Name; which are the believers in Christ, the spiritual seed of Abraham, those of the faith of Abraham; and therefore, those who, at the Last Day, will first receive the visit of Elohim, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

The Angels of the Son of Man will also be there, the Archangels Gabriel and Michael will be there, and the ministries of the Two Olive Trees will also be there at the Last Day.

Great are the blessings that God has for the believers in Christ of this end time.

And in the fulfillment of the Tent Vision that Reverend William Branham saw, God will fulfill the promise of the Third Pull, where God will manifest Himself in all His fullness.

We don’t know if it will be at the beginning, middle, or end of the Tent Vision; but we do know one thing: it will be in a Great Tent Cathedral that the believers in Christ will have in the midst of Christianity; and therefore, they will be working united for the fulfillment of that Vision, because the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ has the hands to work. The hands that God uses, that Christ uses, that the Spirit of God uses, are our hands; and it’s through the believers that Christ works in Holy Spirit in His Church.

Therefore, let’s be wide awake and knowing the promises, the prophecies relevant to this end time; because everything God will do in this time in the midst of His Church and in the midst of the Hebrew people, is in the prophetic Word; because the prophecy is “like a light that shines in a dark place, until the day is perfect, and the day star arise in your hearts.”[10]

The Day Star is Christ, Christ in His Coming.

And now, the Morning Star is promised to be given to the Overcomer in chapter 2, verses 26 to 28, of Revelation; and in Revelation, chapter 22, verse 16.

Christ is the Bright and Morning Star, therefore, the Overcomer of the Last Day will have Christ, and Christ will work through him. As simple as that.

And now, THE FORTY DAYS ON EARTH BEFORE THE RAPTURE. The Church of the Lord Jesus Christ goes through the same trajectory that Christ went through. Therefore, those forty days in which Christ will be with His Church, for thirty to forty days, in His Coming, will be a glorious time for the believers in Christ; but they will also be difficult days for the world, because the kingdom of the Gentiles will have come to the time of its end.

“THE FORTY DAYS OF JESUS ON EARTH BEFORE THE RAPTURE” (before being raptured to Heaven).

We are aware that Christ resurrected glorified, He is sitting at the right hand of God the Father, interceding for us.

Therefore, be prepared: with the Blood of Christ applied on your souls, and praying for your family members so that God has mercy on them as well. And keep your eyes wide open, knowing the Scriptures, so that you know what Christ in His Coming will be carrying out according to the prophecy. He will not be doing anything other than fulfilling the Scripture.

Like when He was there in Nazareth and He read the passage of Isaiah 61, and then He says: “This day is this Scripture before you.”[11] He was fulfilling Scriptures: the Messianic promises relevant to the First Coming of the Messiah, He was fulfilling them back then.

Therefore, those who sought the Scriptures were able to see that what was taking place was the fulfillment of what the Scripture said. That is why Christ always said to them: “Search the Scriptures; for in them you think you have Eternal Life, and they are they which testify of Me.”[12]

That is why when He was with those who went to Emmaus, what Christ would speak to them about was the Scriptures, the prophecies relevant to that end time; and He was showing them the prophecies that were being fulfilled in Jesus, for they still didn’t know that the One they were traveling with was Jesus.[13]

Notice, He was showing them the Scriptures that spoke of Him, and their fulfillment as Jesus was working, preaching, and praying, healing the sick.

Now, that time period for which we will be prepared is coming, because that is when the Third Pull will be manifested.

The Third Pull is for the Bride (the Bride-Church of the Lord Jesus Christ), for the foolish virgins, and for the world. Therefore, it will impact the born-again believers in Christ (the virgins… those are the wise virgins), it will also impact the foolish virgins, and the world as well, in that full manifestation of Christ in His Church. It will be parallel to the First Coming of Christ our Savior.

May God greatly bless all those who are present and those who are in other nations.

I leave with you Reverend José Benjamín Pérez.

May everyone have a happy evening, filled with the blessings of Christ our Savior.

May God bless you and keep you all.

“THE FORTY DAYS OF JESUS ON EARTH, BEFORE THE RAPTURE.”
