The Sower Sowing the Seed of the Word

Good morning, beloved friends and brethren present, and all those who are in different places, ministers and congregations; and there in Puerto Rico, Reverend José Benjamín Pérez and the congregation there in Cayey, Puerto Rico. Receive my greetings. May God bless you greatly and may He open our understanding and the Scriptures to all of us in order to understand the Word of the Lord.

For this occasion, let’s read the Scripture in Saint Matthew chapter 13, verses 18 and on… We can even read a little before that, in chapter 13, verse 13 and on, it says:

Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand.

And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive:

For this people’s heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.

But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear.

For verily I say unto you, That many prophets and righteous men have desired to see those things which ye see, and have not seen them; and to hear those things which ye hear, and have not heard them.

Hear ye therefore the parable of the sower.

When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, then cometh the wicked one, and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart. This is he which received seed by the way side.

But he that received the seed into stony places, the same is he that heareth the word, and anon with joy receiveth it;

Yet hath he not root in himself, but dureth for a while: for when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the word, by and by he is offended.

He also that received seed among the thorns is he that heareth the word; and the care of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the word, and he becometh unfruitful.

But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.”

May God bless our souls with His Word and allow us to understand It.

Our subject for today’s Bible study is: “THE SOWER SOWING THE SEED OF THE WORD.”

In this parable, the Sower is the Son of Man, Christ; the Word of the Kingdom is the Gospel of Christ, the Gospel of Grace; and the different grounds are the people who hear the preaching of the Gospel. And some, the one that was planted by the wayside, heard It, that Word was sown in the heart…

Remember that one of the mysteries of the Gospel is that it is preached; and while It is being preached and people are hearing It, It is being sown in the heart.

Christ through the instruments that He has from age to age, the messengers from age to age, together with the ministries of each time, are instruments of Christ; and therefore, Christ through His instruments sows the Word through the Holy Spirit in the heart; because the Gospel is to be sowed in people’s hearts, because It is to be believed; “because faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God.”1

Therefore, in the soul, in the heart, is where the Gospel of Christ, the Word of the Gospel, the Word of the Kingdom, is sown; and some hear It, then the wicked one, the enemy of God, comes and roots up what was sown in the heart. By using different tricks that the devil uses, he discourages the person who heard, and separates him from God’s plan, he uproots what was sown in the heart.

And remember that it’s with the soul, with the heart, that the person believes. “Because faith comes by hearing, hearing the Word of the Lord.” And “with the heart man believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”2

In other words, it is a Divine Work directly from God, through the Spirit of God, directly to the human being, in what the human being actually is: a living soul. The Gospel of Grace is a Message, the Gospel of Christ is a Message directly for the soul of every human being: It goes past the barrier of censorship and enters into the person’s soul. But then the enemy comes to fight and uproot what was sown in the soul, discouraging people, telling them: “But look at this, and look at that,” so that people get discouraged.

The one that was sown by the wayside has the problem that the Word that was sown is uprooted from him by the devil, and he stops believing what he heard.

Then there are those that were sown in stony places. And the ones that were sown in stony places don’t grow roots. They are the ones who don’t have time to study the Bible, to go to the services, they don’t have time for one thing or another in the Divine Program, they don’t have time to study the Word of the Lord; and therefore, the Word doesn’t grow roots, the Word isn’t rooted in the person’s soul; “It endures for a while”: It’s for a while and then leaves.

Then there are the ones that are represented in the ground full of thorns.

And the ones we were previously speaking about, persecution comes upon them because of the Word and they stumble and turn away, the ones who were sown in stony places. Perhaps they may say: “But I didn’t know that I was going to have so many problems, I didn’t know that I would be criticized because I had received Christ as Savior; especially at home.” And so on and so forth. And also at work; persecution, affliction, rises because of the Word, because of the Gospel of Christ, and they stumble over that.

And the one sown among thorns: “is he that hears the Word, but the care of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the Word, and he becomes unfruitful,” they make the Word not bring forth the fruit that It should bring forth in the life of every believer. They are always focused on the cares of this life and have their minds set on riches, and they don’t have time for the Lord; and therefore, the Word doesn’t bring forth fruit, It doesn’t bring forth the fruit that It should in each son and daughter of God, It can’t bring forth the new birth in the person.

We have four types of believers; we have already seen three. And which of the three do you belong to? None of them, right? No one wants to belong to any of those three previous groups.

But then comes the fourth type:

But he that received seed into the good ground,” (in other words, into a good heart, a good soul), is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.

That good ground, that good heart in which the Word was sown, It will bring forth fruit, because it is good ground.

And how many are typified in that good ground, who are present here? That’s why we are here, because we are represented in the good ground that hears and understands the Word.

That’s why Bible studies are so important, the preaching, teaching of the Word; like in the days of Jesus and the apostles, when the Word was taught so that everyone would know the Divine Program pertaining to the time of Grace, the Dispensation of Grace. And now we have reached the end time.

Let’s remember that the One who sows the good seed is the Son of Man, Christ; and we are the good ground, we who hear and understand the Word; and bring forth fruit: some a hundredfold, some sixtyfold, and others at thirtyfold, everyone brings forth fruit; and the smallest number that Jesus put is: thirtyfold.

Now, we find that Christ also said: “Every plant, which my heavenly Father hath not planted, shall be rooted up (rooted up and cast into the fire).”3 In other words, the time will come when only the believers in Christ will live in the Millennial Kingdom.

The tares do not get through the great tribulation to enter into the Kingdom of the Messiah. The one that was sown and the enemy uprooted what was sown in their heart, also doesn’t go into the Kingdom of the Messiah, the Kingdom of the Lord. He didn’t enter into the Kingdom of God. Because in order to enter into the Kingdom of God, Christ says: “you must be born again.” Just as Christ said to Nicodemus in Saint John chapter 3, verse 1 to 3. “Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the Kingdom of God.”

We all want to enter into the Kingdom of God because we all want to live eternally, and we all have the opportunity to live eternally according to the Divine Program for the salvation and Eternal Life of every person who receives Christ as their only and sufficient Savior. That is the only way in which a person can enter into Eternal Life and live with Christ in His eternal Kingdom.

He also spoke to us about another parable, the parable of the sower: who sowed wheat, and the enemy came and sowed tares. We find that in that parable, the disciples say to him, or the servants of the householder say to him: “Didn’t you sow wheat? Why are there tares?” He says: “An enemy of mine came and sowed tares in the field.” The enemy is the devil.

And the servants of the householder say to him: “Do you want us to gather the tares?” And the householder says: “No, because while you gather up the tares, you might also root up the wheat.”4

For example, if there were a total destruction of the tares, by atomic bombs, the wheat that is still living on Earth would be affected. But when Christ takes His Church to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb, the Great Tribulation (which is the time of the divine judgment upon the tares) will fall upon the Earth. There will be a Third World War, and it will be atomic. There will also be earthquakes, tidal waves, tsunamis, volcanoes erupting… and all of this will contribute to the destruction of the tares, of “the children of the wicked one,” as Christ identifies them in the parable.

In Malachi chapter 4, it also tells us about the wicked ones; and God through the prophet Malachi tells us what will take place at this end time. It says:

behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble…”

That is the day known in the midst of Christianity as the Great Tribulation; and that day is when the tares will be burned by atomic fire.

Malachi chapter 4, verse 1 and on, says:

For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the Lord of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch.”

This is what will happen with the tares of the field.

In Saint Matthew chapter 13, it also tells us… Of Saint Matthew… verse 37 and on, says:

He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man;

The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom,” (in other words, the ones who would make up the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ throughout the different stages of the Church),but the tares are the children of the wicked one;

The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels.

As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world.

The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity;

And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.

Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.”

That is what is appointed for the end of the world, the end of the Dispensation of Grace in which we are living. We are living at the end of the world, at the end of time, where these prophecies will be fulfilled.

Now, it tells us that they will shine forth in the Kingdom of their Father. Who? The elect, God’s wheat; that is why He sends His Angels. His Angels are the ministries of Moses and Elijah, the ministries of the Two Olive Trees.

Now notice here, in chapter 4 of Malachi, verse 2 and on, it says:

But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.”

The Sun of Righteousness: the Second Coming of Christ, will rise unto the believers in Christ, unto the wheat of God. And with healing: He is the One who will save us from the Great Tribulation. He is the One who will transform us at this end time; and if anyone dies, He will resurrect them in a glorified body.

And ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet…”

By the Millennial Kingdom, the wicked ones are already burned, they are ashes; and when we walk upon the Earth, we will be walking upon the ashes of the wicked ones. That is why it says:

And ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I shall do this, saith the Lord of hosts.

Remember ye the law of Moses my servant, which I commanded unto him in Horeb for all Israel, with the statutes and judgments.

Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord.”

When God sent the prophet Elijah thousands of years ago, he brought the restoration for the ten tribes of Israel; and we find that he belonged to the ten tribes; and we find that the prophet Elijah was a prophet for all the nations. And the ministries of Moses and Elijah will be repeated.

When the ministry of a former prophet is repeated, it is that ministry in another man anointed with the Spirit of God; the Holy Spirit operating the ministry that He had operated in another prophet before him.

The ministry of Elijah has been operated on four occasions, and it is promised to be operated for the fifth occasion. It was operated for the first time in Elijah the Tishbite; it was operated for the second time in Elisha (who came with a double portion); it was operated by John the Baptist for the third time, forerunning the First Coming of Christ; and it was operated for the fourth time in Reverend William Branham, forerunning the Second Coming of Christ; and it will be operated for the fifth time accompanied by the ministry of Moses, which will be operated for the third time if we count the ministry of Moses operated in Jesus as the second time.

Jesus was a prophet like Moses. And if a prophet like Moses comes at this end time with Elijah, it will be another man bringing forth the Word relevant to the end time, and thus fulfilling the prophecy of the Angels that God sends to call and gather the elect of the Last Day.

Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord,” (in other words, before the great tribulation, he will be here).

And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth,” (with destruction) “with a curse.

This prophecy was also already fulfilled in Reverend William Branham, and the prophecy of Moses and Elijah coming at this end time will also be fulfilled. That is what is promised in Saint Matthew chapter 24, verse 30 and on, where it says:

Now learn a parable of the fig tree…”

A little bit before that it says:

And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.”

Here we have the fact that the Son of Man, Christ, will send His Angels. Those Angels are the ministries of the Two Olive Trees of Revelation chapter 11, verse 1 to 14; and Zechariah chapter 4, verse 1 to 14. Those are the ministries that will call Israel, 12,000 of each tribe, and will bring them to the Kingdom of God.

That is the promise for Israel: the Angels of the Son of Man being sent to call and gather the elect of the Hebrew people.

They also appear in Revelation chapter 7, being sealed by the Angel who comes with the Seal of the living God. In other words, who comes with the Holy Spirit operating those ministries. As simple as that.

Remember that Christ, the Son of Man, is the one who sows the good seed, the Word, the Gospel, here in the heart, in the soul of every person. Therefore, the Gospel is a Message for the soul of every human being. It is the Message with which to enter into the soul to bring the blessings of the Kingdom of God into the human being.

THE SOWER SOWING THE SEED OF THE WORD.”

The Sower is Christ using different instruments, sowing the Word in the heart, in the soul of every person. That is why we also say: “Give your heart to Christ, give your soul to Christ.”

Remember that the most important thing about a person is the person’s soul, that is what the person actually is: a living soul. And that is what will be saved or lost: the soul.

That is why Christ said in Saint Matthew chapter 16, verses 24 to 29: “For what is a man profited if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? For the Son of man shall come in the glory of His Father with His Angels.” (See? There are the Angels again, the ministries of Moses and Elijah), “and then He shall reward every man according to his works.”

We are in the most important time of all times: in the time for the Coming of the Son of Man with His Angels, to reward every man according to His deeds. We have been granted the blessing of living at the end time, and therefore, the responsibility before the Word of God is to receive It in our soul, in our heart; so that It brings forth the new birth in us and takes us, places us in His eternal and glorious Kingdom.

“THE SOWER SOWING THE SEED OF THE WORD.”

Christ is the One who has sowed His Word in my heart, and in whom else? In each one of you. Therefore, we thank Christ for sowing His Word in our soul.

The Seed, the good Seed as the Word, is the Gospel of Christ; and the good Seed incarnate in every believer turns every believer into the wheat of the Lord’s field. They are the children of the Kingdom that had to come to Earth, and here we are! So that Christ fulfills in us His Program relevant to this end time.

Christ continues to add that good wheat, that good ground to His Church; He continues to sow His Word in that good ground; and it brings forth fruit a hundredfold, sixtyfold, and thirtyfold. And we already know that the wheat is every son and daughter of God who enters into the Kingdom of God, and therefore, the person seals their eternal destiny with Christ in His Eternal Kingdom.

May God bless you and keep you; and onward serving Christ our Savior, holding on tight to Christ our Savior; because remember that Eternal Life is the kind that He has for us in His Kingdom. We will live eternally with Him in His Kingdom without the problems we have now, and with a new, young, and eternal body. Like the glorified body that He has, we will also have a glorified body.

May God bless you and keep you; and continue having a happy afternoon or day, filled with the blessings of Christ our Savior.
