Good evening beloved friends and brethren present, and all those who are in different nations, ministers and congregations. A very special greeting to missionary, Doctor Miguel Bermudez Marin, there in the Republic of Mexico.
May God bless you all greatly and may He speak His Word to us, open the Scriptures to us and our understanding to comprehend. In the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
Tonight, we will read the Scripture in Jeremiah, chapter 1, verses 4 and on, where it says:
“Then the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,
Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.
Then said I, Ah, Lord God! behold, I cannot speak: for I am a child.
But the Lord said unto me, Say not, I am a child: for thou shalt go to all that I shall send thee, and whatsoever I command thee thou shalt speak.
Be not afraid of their faces: for I am with thee to deliver thee, saith the Lord.
Then the Lord put forth his hand, and touched my mouth. And the Lord said unto me, Behold, I have put my words in thy mouth.
See, I have this day set thee over the nations and over the kingdoms, to root out, and to pull down, and to destroy, and to throw down, to build, and to plant.”
May God bless our souls with His Word and allow us to understand it.
On this occasion, our subject of introduction for the Bible study of next Sunday’s Bible School is: “A PROPHET: THE GREATEST SIGN ON EARTH.”
Throughout the Bible, the Scripture, we find different prophets of God, starting with Adam, to whom the Word of God came. “Surely the Lord God will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets,” says Amos, chapter 3, verse 7. Because the Word of God comes to the prophets and from the prophets, it is passed on to the people; and that is why we have the Bible, the Word of God, which has come through the different messengers of God to the people of God.
A prophet has both consciousness together, and that is why we find that he can see into other dimensions, he can speak to God and God can speak to him; and he can know the divine mysteries in order to reveal them to the people of God living in his time under the Covenant corresponding to that time.
Prophets are born prophets. They do not become prophets through academic studies, through human education, but rather, they are born prophets, with both consciousness together, to enter into the world of the spirits and hear the Voice of God through His Spirit, telling him what he must speak to the people living in that time under the Covenant in effect.
Therefore, the greatest sign from God for His people and for all of humanity is a prophet. When a prophet appears, God will carry out something great in the midst of His people and in the midst of humanity.
When Noah appeared, something great was to be carried out, which was the flood; for which God provided a plan of salvation: the ark He commanded Noah to build for the salvation of fowls, animals, reptiles and people who would enter into the ark. Therefore, the greatest sign for that time was Noah, Noah building the ark, where he and his family would be saved from the judgment, from the flood that would fall upon the human race.
That is how it has been from time to time, from age to age, from dispensation to dispensation: the prophecies of what will take place have come through the prophets, and they are made known beforehand; and those who pay attention and take seriously what God speaks to and through that prophet: escape the divine judgment, obtain the mercy of God and receive the blessings of God.
For the days of the prophets, we have the messianic prophecies of the First Coming of the Messiah and of the Second Coming of the Messiah, for which we have the prophecy of the forerunner of the First Coming of the Messiah; a promise which was fulfilled in John the Baptist, of which Jesus said: “Among those that are born of women there is not a greater one than John, but he that is least in the Kingdom of God is greater than John.” [Luke 7:28]
The least in the Kingdom of God belongs to the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, and therefore, he belongs to the people of sons and daughters of God; and a son of God is greater than a servant.
Therefore, John the Baptist is greater than the people who lived before him, but the least in the Kingdom of Heaven is greater than John the Baptist; because John the Baptist belongs to the servant people, and the least in the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to the people of the sons and daughters of God.
John the Baptist was the forerunner of the First Coming of Christ, who prepared the way for Him, announced that one greater than him was coming, who would be the Messiah, the promised One. And when he saw Him, he pointed to Him and said: “Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.” [John 1:29] And furthermore, he baptized Him too.
And when Jesus was raised from the baptismal waters, John saw the Holy Spirit descending in the form of a dove upon Jesus. He said: “And I knew Him not: but He that sent me to baptize said unto me, Upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending upon Him like a dove, the same is He.” In other words: “That is the Messiah, that is the One you are preparing the way for.” And John said: “And I saw It.” He saw the Holy Spirit descend upon Jesus.
After the forerunner, came the forerun, after the forerunner came a greater one than the forerunner. John was a prophet of the seventh stage of the Hebrew church under the Law, but Jesus is a dispensational prophet, the prophet of the Dispensation of Grace. Therefore, the one who comes after the forerunner is always greater than the forerunner; the one forerun is a dispensational prophet, he is a prophet greater than the forerunner.
We also have the Dispensation of Grace, where Christianity has been since the day of Pentecost until our time, in the Dispensation of Grace. In the Dispensation of Grace, we have had seven messengers for the gentile Church: Saint Paul the first one, and so on, until we reach the seventh messenger who was reverend William Branham, the forerunner of the Second Coming of Christ, which received the Message that introduces the Second Coming of Christ to this Earth.
The forerunner prepares the people to receive the Coming of the Prince Messiah in the end time with the Message God gives him.
Therefore, after the forerunner comes one greater than the forerunner: the forerun, who is announced in the Scripture as the Son of Man coming in the end time.
That is why Jesus spoke a lot about the Coming of the Son of Man, the apostles too, and reverend William Branham as well; because he is the one who prepares the way for the One who will come at the Last Day: the Prince Messiah, the Son of Man coming in His Kingdom as it is promised and as it was seen on Mount Transfiguration with the Two Olive Trees: Moses and Elijah. In other words, during the Coming of the Son of Man, the ministries of the Son of Man (the ministry of Moses and the ministry of Elijah) will be present in the end time.
Therefore, the Coming of the Son of Man will be the greatest sign on Earth from God to all of humanity.
“A PROPHET: THE GREATEST SIGN ON EARTH.”
It has been a great privilege to be with you on this occasion in the introduction to the subject of our Bible study for next Sunday’s Bible School: “A PROPHET: THE GREATEST SIGN ON EARTH.”
May God bless all of you and keep you and use you greatly in His Work in this end time. And we will see each other next Sunday, God willing, in our Bible school to have the Bible study: “A PROPHET: THE GREATEST SIGN ON EARTH.”
We will continue to discuss this topic; and we hope that God gives much revealed Word to comprehend the subject of the Coming of the Son of Man, of the Coming of the Messiah for the Last Day, the Coming of one greater, greater than the forerunner of the Second Coming of Christ.
May God bless you all; and continue having a happy evening filled with the blessings of Christ our Savior.
“A PROPHET: THE GREATEST SIGN ON EARTH.”
