Being Vigilant and Watching for God’s Anointed One

Good evening, fellow ministers in the Mystical Body of Christ our Savior; it is a great blessing and a great privilege to be with you on this occasion, to share some moments of fellowship with you around the Word of God and His Program relevant to this end time.

The Scripture tells us to be strong and to be watching and praying always. For example, in Saint Luke, chapter 21, verses 36 and on, it says… chapter 21, verses 36 to 38, Christ says:

“Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

And in the day time he was teaching in the temple; and at night he went out, and abode in the mount that is called the mount of Olives.

And all the people came early in the morning to him in the temple, for to hear him.”

The warning that Christ gives us is to watch, therefore, praying always that we may be accounted worthy to escape the things that will come to pass (the Divine judgments that will come upon the Earth), and to stand before the Son of Man.

Always, from age to age and from dispensation to dispensation, the people must be aware of the Divine Program, and be watching and praying; and also praying for the Messenger that God sends them, so that God protects him; because otherwise, what Christ said will happen: “I will smite the shepherd, and she sheep will be scattered.”[1]

The enemy has always wanted to scatter the sheep of the Lord so that they wander like sheep without a shepherd; but Christ teaches us to be united, to be watching, watching for the Coming of the Lord, and praying always that we may be accounted worthy to escape the things that are to come upon the Earth (the Divine judgments) and to stand before the Son of Man.

We are already at the end time; we are already in the millennium where the prophecies for the Coming of the Lord must be fulfilled.

The prophecy of the forerunner was already fulfilled, and the rest of the prophecies must be fulfilled: also the prophecies of the resurrection of the dead and the transformation of the living, the prophecy of the Two Olive Trees, the prophecy of the 144,000 Hebrews (12,000 of each tribe), the prophecy of the elect who will be transformed; all those prophecies relevant to this end time.

And it’s easy to understand that they are relevant to this end time, why? Because they were not fulfilled in past times; so then, what’s left is the Golden Age, the Age of the Cornerstone, the age where all the promises relevant to this time will be fulfilled. And God will quicken them, He will make them a reality, and God will back that promised Word and perform It, and He will prosper It; and therefore, He will prosper all those who are working so that those prophecies are fulfilled.

They are always fulfilled among the people who believe and are instruments for God to bring those prophecies to fulfillment.

For example, in the time of Moses, the prophecies said that at that time God was going to deliver His people which was in bondage in Egypt; there was a prophecy in Genesis, chapter 15, verses 12 to 19. And therefore, the person who would be the instrument for that work had to appear, and so did the people who would help him, his helpers.

Therefore, because it was during that time when Moses was on Earth, God prospered that Word, He prospered the instrument and those who helped him carry out that work. It was a work of the Holy Spirit through Moses and those who were hand in hand with Moses, who were greatly blessed.

That is how it has been at all times, and therefore, that is also how it will be in our time.

God will quicken those prophecies relevant to this time, He will make them a reality; and He will prosper those prophecies and the work that is carried out for the fulfillment of those prophecies; because God watches over His Word to perform It,[2] and God will prosper the Word that He has promised.

If he promised an ark of salvation for the time of Noah, then, what was God going to prosper? That prophecy. And how would He prosper it? Well, by using Noah.

By Noah working, that prophecy was gradually becoming a reality there; and God was prospering that work that Noah was carrying out.

The Word is like the rain that falls upon the Earth, and God prospers that Word. Therefore, we must be working with the promised Word for our time, and working to make it a reality.

By faith, believers in every time have conquered the promise, the promised Word that He has made for each time.

Noah conquered It. When he finished the construction of the ark, he said: “Lord, the ark is now built”; he thanked God because he was able to make the Word that was given to Noah a reality; and he was told to build an ark, and God was with him.

Moses was shown a tabernacle, and Moses worked with the people; God prospered that promised Word, and It became a reality.

The same thing also happened with Solomon, the son of David.

The same thing also happened with John the Baptist, the same thing also happened with each of the prophets.

The same thing happened with Jesus: The promised Word for that time was that in the middle of the seventieth week, the Messiah’s life would be cut off;[3] and God prospered that to make it a reality. Even though it was (seemingly) against His own Son, but that was the prophecy.

And what good came from the Son of God dying? Well, the good was the Redemption. It was worth it.

It wasn’t over something trivial that Christ was willing to die, but rather for the redemption of the human being; for my redemption and the redemption of who else? Of each one of you too.

And our redemption is so important to God that He gave us Jesus Christ; that physical body that could not die, but upon taking the sins of us all, became mortal and then resurrected glorified. In other words, nothing was lost, but instead gained.

In God’s business, one always gains; because one achieves… God achieves the purpose He has had for that Work that He promised to carry out.

And what about the fulfillment of the promise of our transformation? We will lose the physical mortal body, but we will obtain the immortal body, and that is the one worth having! In this one, we have problems —some more, some less— but in the new one we won’t have problems.

But what if a problem arises and…? It will be resolved, differently than the way we do so in these bodies.

So we can see…

Look at Saint Paul persecuting the Church, and Jesus Christ appears to him and says to him: “Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting Me?” He knocked him off the horse, he fell off the horse when he saw that Light that spoke to him, and overcame him; he was there surrendered, overcome: “Lord…” He knew it was the same God who spoke to Moses: “Lord, who are You?” And that Light says to him: “I am Jesus whom you persecute.”[4]

To persecute the believers in Christ is to persecute Jesus Christ.

It’s like when someone persecutes the children of a father of a household, one or all of his children: that is persecuting the father of the household himself, because they are his children. That is the way it is with God.

And He also says: “He that receives you (receives whom? He says) receives Me,”[5] but also he that rejects you, is rejecting the Lord Jesus Christ.

Therefore, onward working in the Work of the Lord! We are almost at the end, and there aren’t many things… or rather, there isn’t much time left until the fulfillment of all the things that have been promised for our time. It’s the time when the most prophecies will be fulfilled.

Look, there are a number of prophecies for the First Coming of Christ, but for the Second Coming, there are more prophecies that speak about the Second Coming of Christ.

But why? First: because the prophecies of the First Coming of Christ are where? In the Old Testament; and the prophecies of the Second Coming of Christ are in the Old Testament and in the New Testament, too. Even just from that perspective, we know there are more.

And then… even the Old Testament testifies more of the Second Coming of Christ than of the First Coming of Christ; and even Jesus Christ Himself: He spoke more about His Second Coming, prophesied, than what He spoke about His First Coming; but what He spoke about His First Coming was what He had to fulfill in His First Coming.

That is why Philippians, chapter 3, verses 20 to 21, says:

(Because) our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ:

Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body…”

He wants us to be like Him; that is why we are joint-heirs with Christ. Just like He has a glorified body, He wants us to have a glorified body, too.

It’s like our parents, just like our parents have hands and arms and legs, they would also like for us to have arms, legs, for us to be in their likeness. That is how Christ is with us.

Therefore, let’s work in the Work of the Lord wholeheartedly, and aware that our work is not in vain in the Lord, it will be rewarded in due time. Although we don’t work for rewards, but because we love the Lord; that is the important part.

Because he who works for a reward, doesn’t work out of love, but out of self-interest; like those who do someone a favor out of self-interest because they will receive a reward.

But he who works without self-interest, and instead out of love, is not concerned with whether he is rewarded: “No, I did that with all my heart and there is no money with which you can pay me, no money with which you can repay me a favor, because I did it with all my heart and you can’t pay for what is done wholeheartedly, there is no price for that. You can’t pay for the love I did it with, that’s for you.”

That is how it is with Christ, how we are with Christ; and that is how Christ is with us: He redeemed us on Calvary’s Cross without being concerned that we might repay Him; because salvation cannot be purchased, not with money (there is no price) nor with properties.

He was the only One who could carry out that redemption, and He did so out of love; it is the maximum expression of God’s love for us: the coming and death of Christ on Calvary’s Cross.

And now, we work in the Work of Christ out of love according to what is promised to be fulfilled at this end time; and therefore, we will always be working according to the Word of God for our time.

May the blessings of Christ, the Angel of the Covenant, be upon all of you, and may He use you and prosper you greatly in His Program, in every work you carry out according to the Divine Program relevant to our time.

And also all the ministers, not those who are here present, but those who are in other nations: May God bless you greatly and use you greatly in His Kingdom at this end time.

God bless you and keep you all.

“BEING VIGILANT AND WATCHING FOR GOD’S ANOINTED ONE.”
