OF HOLY SUPPER AND
WASHING OF FEET

We have being commemorating that which Christ did for us at Calvary’s Cross as the Lamb of God, so as it was ordained to the Hebrew people by God through the prophet Moses for them to commemorate the Passover which they realized in Egypt in the corresponding occasion at night, the paschal lamb that had been slain in the eve of Passover, and then each home was eating of the roasted paschal lamb; and they had light in their homes while death was passing through Egypt.
And Christ the Lamb of God of whom John the Baptist said: “Behold the Lamb of God that taketh away the sin of the world,” died in the Passover eve, because that paschal lamb sacrificed by each father of a Hebrew family typified Christ, the Messiah, who would be sacrificed to take away the sin of the world.
And then, they would eat of that lamb at night in their homes, which we then find, that they commemorate it in the Passover feast each year; and all that was type and figure of the death of Christ as the Passover Lamb. And then in the Hebrew homes while they were eating the paschal lamb while death was visiting Egypt, that becomes type and figure of all this time of Grace; during the time of the preaching of the Gospel of Christ, where the world has been in darkness, in obscurity, and the spiritual death has been striking the human race; and the sons and daughters of God, believers in Christ have been in light eating of the flesh of Christ the Son of Man, believing in Christ by faith, believing in His Sacrifice, and believing in His Blood poured out at Calvary’s Cross. While death is striking mankind, which is in darkness, the elect are in light, because they have the sign of the Blood, which is the Holy Ghost, which is the Life of the Blood, they are eating of the flesh and drinking of the Blood of the Son of Man, commemorating that in the Holy Supper and in the Washing of feet. It’s as simple as that.
Thou art sons of light, thou art not sons of darkness, but of life. Therefore, while the world is been in darkness and continues in darkness, the spiritual death has been striking the human race by reason of incredulity of mankind, the believers in Christ are believing in Christ and are eating of the flesh of the Lamb of God, by faith believing in that Sacrifice of Christ at Cavalry’s Cross and drinking of the Blood of Christ, believing in His Blood shed for us at the Cross of Calvary to take away our sins; and it is a great blessing to be able to commemorate that Sacrifice as important which Christ made for me, and for who else? For everyone of you at Calvary’s Cross.
May the Blessings of Christ, the Angel of the Covenant be upon all of you and upon me, too, and also upon all of them that are in other nations. In the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
