Good afternoon, friends and brethren present and listeners. It is a privilege and blessing for me to be with you on this occasion, gathered for this activity, where we expect God’s blessings, and we hope that God speaks directly to our soul and teaches us His Word, as He has promised.
For this occasion, we have the topic: “DELIVERED BY THE WORD OF GOD.”
For which I want to read some prophetic Scriptures, which are found in Isaiah, chapter 59 and verses 19 and on, where it says:
“So shall they fear the name of the Lord from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard against him.
And the Redeemer shall come to Zion, and unto them that turn from transgression in Jacob, saith the Lord.
As for me, this is my covenant with them, saith the Lord; My spirit that is upon thee, and my words which I have put in thy mouth, shall not depart out of thy mouth, nor out of the mouth of thy seed, nor out of the mouth of thy seed’s seed, saith the Lord, from henceforth and for ever.”
And Saint Paul, making reference to that prophetic passage, which is a prophetic-messianic passage, which speaks of the Second Coming of Christ, Saint Paul says in Romans, chapter 11, verses 25 to 29:
“For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in…”
That is, until the last of His elect, until the last of the members of the Church of Jesus Christ from among the gentiles have come to Christ. And he goes on to say:
“And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:
For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins.
As concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, they are beloved for the father’s sakes.
For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance.”
Now, see here how what the prophet Isaiah said back then, Saint Paul explains it to be fulfilled in this end time.
Our topic is: “DELIVERED BY THE WORD OF GOD.”
God, speaking through the prophet Isaiah and through Saint Paul, tells us that the Deliverer will come to Zion and from Zion. He says:
“There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob…”
Now, see how the Deliverer will be in Zion, and Zion is the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ; for Saint Paul, in his letter to the Galatians and also in his letter to the Hebrews, tells us about Zion. For example, here in Hebrews, chapter 12, verse 22 and on, it says:
“But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels,
To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect,
And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel.”
Now notice how Zion represents the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, where the Deliverer will be manifested in the Last Day for the great deliverance of all the sons and daughters of God; of which the apostle Saint Paul also spoke in chapter 8 of his letter to the Romans, when he said [verse 19]:
“For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.
For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope,
Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.
For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.
And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.”
The redemption of our body, which is the resurrection of the dead in Christ in eternal bodies, and the transformation of us who live, of our bodies, where we will be transformed and will have an immortal, incorruptible, eternal and glorified body, like that of our beloved Lord Jesus Christ.
This is a promise for all believers in Jesus Christ who have received Christ as their Savior, have washed away their sins in the Blood of Christ and have received His Holy Spirit; and therefore have been born again, have been born in the Kingdom of God; and therefore have the promise: to receive an eternal and glorified body like that of the Lord Jesus Christ for the Last Day. It doesn’t matter that the person physically died, Christ will resurrect him in the Last Day.
This is what Christ spoke of in John, chapter 11, when He went to resurrect Lazarus, speaking with Mary and Martha. Here we have Martha’s conversation with Jesus: In chapter 11, verse 21 and on, it says:
“Then said Martha unto Jesus, Lord, if thou hadst been here, my brother had not died.
But I know, that even now, whatsoever thou wilt ask of God, God will give it thee.
Jesus saith unto her, Thy brother shall rise again.
Martha saith unto him, I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day.
Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:
And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?
She saith unto him, Yea, Lord: I believe that thou art the Christ, the Son of God, which should come into the world.”
Now notice how Christ here presents Himself as the Resurrection and the Life; and He tells Martha that her brother Lazarus, who had died and had been dead for four days, and was buried there in a cave, now Christ tells her that he will resurrect; and Mary and Martha had the knowledge that a resurrection would come, and that it would be for the Last Day.
And why did they know that the resurrection would be for the Last Day? Because Jesus had taught it. In John, chapter 6, verse 39 to 40, Jesus says:
“And this is the Father’s will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.
And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.”
When will He resurrect the departed believers in Him? In the Last Day. This is a promise for the believers in our beloved Lord Jesus Christ who have received Him as their Savior, have washed away their sins in the Blood of Christ and have received His Holy Spirit; therefore, they will resurrect in the first resurrection; and that resurrection is for eternal life, with an eternal and glorified body like the body of our beloved Lord Jesus Christ; and it is for the Last Day.
And now, which is the Last Day? “One day before the Lord is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day,” says Second Peter, chapter 3, verse 8. And this is something that we can’t ignore, the apostle Saint Peter says; for if we ignore this truth then we can’t understand what the last days are and what the Last Day is.
“But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.”
The prophet Moses also testified of this in Psalm 90 and verse 4.
And now, one day before the Lord is a thousand years for human beings. That is why Saint Paul and Saint Peter, speaking in the time in which they lived, and speaking of the time in which Jesus had His ministry, they say that those were the last days; and two thousand years have already passed.
And how can it be that those were the last days and two thousand years have already passed? Look, Hebrews, chapter 1, verse 1 to 2, Saint Paul says:
“God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,
Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds…”
When does it say that God spoke through His Son? In the last days. When Jesus was 4 to 7 years old, the fifth millennium began, and therefore, the last days before God began, which for human beings are the last millenniums.
Do you see how simple the prophetic Word is? When it speaks of the last days, they are the last days before God, which for human beings are the last millenniums.
And what are the last millenniums before God or before human beings? They are the fifth millennium, sixth millennium and seventh millennium.
When Jesus was 4 to 7 years old, the last days began, because the fifth millennium began; and in the first third of the fifth millennium, Jesus had His ministry.
And now, the calendar is behind. If we leave it as it is, well, look, there are only two and a half years left to finish the second of the last days, in other words, the sixth millennium; there are only two years left, and then the millennium will begin, the number three Last Day, in other words, the last millennium, which is the Last Day before God, which is the seventh millennium.
And now, see how (this is if we leave the calendar as it is) there are only two and a half years left for the sixth millennium to finish, which is the second of the last millennium; and then the third of the last millenniums will begin, which is the seventh millennium of these millenniums from Adam until now.
And now, if we add to the calendar the years of delay that it has, we are already in the seventh millennium, and well into the seventh millennium. We are in the seventh millennium, from year 25 to year 30 of the seventh millennium, if we add to the calendar the years of delay that it has.
At the First Coming of Christ He had His ministry from the 26th to the 29th year of the fifth millennium.
And now we find ourselves in a parallel time, in a new millennium, if we add to the calendar the years of delay that it has; but if we don’t add to the calendar the years of delay that it has, then there are only two and a half years left.
There are 5 months left (more or less) of this year 1998; there are 12 months left, in other words, one year, of the year 1999; and twelve months or one year left of the year 2000; and then we enter the year 2001, which is the first year of the seventh millennium and the first year of the 21st century.
Now, you see, the seventh millennium is the Last Day before God, where the people of God, the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ will be completed; and the dead in Christ will be resurrected, and us who are alive will be transformed. For He said that He will resurrect the believers in Him who have died physically on the Last Day: “…and I will raise him up at the last day,” that is, in the seventh millennium. Now, He didn’t say in what year of the seventh millennium.
And now, the transformation of us who live is also for the Last Day, that is, for the seventh millennium, because our transformation takes place after the dead in Christ have been resurrected.
And now, aware of this reality, we have to understand that the resurrection of the dead in Christ and the transformation of us who live is the Work of deliverance that Jesus Christ will do: For those who have died, He will deliver them from physical death by resurrecting them in an eternal and glorified body; and He will transform us who live, and will thus deliver us from the mortal, the corruptible and the temporary, he will deliver us from this body, transforming us and placing us in an eternal and glorified body.
It is of this deliverance that Saint Paul spoke when he said that all Creation groans with one accord, and with one accord is in travail, waiting for what? The glorious deliverance of the children of God. Romans, chapter 8, where we had read, there he says [verse 19]:
“For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.”
The manifestation of the children of God in eternal and glorified bodies, equal to our beloved Lord Jesus Christ; because just as God delivered the Hebrew people from Egypt and from bondage there in Egypt, and took them to a promised land, now, you see, Christ for this end time will deliver all His elect, all who have believed in Him: If they have died He will resurrect them in eternal bodies, and if we are alive when the resurrection occurs, then we will be transformed; and thus this glorious deliverance, this glorious manifestation of the children of God in eternal bodies, will have been fulfilled in this end time.
We have not yet been transformed and the dead in Christ have not yet been resurrected. Why? Because that happens when every last one of God’s elect has entered into the Mystical Body of the Lord Jesus Christ. When the fullness of the gentiles have entered, then the dead in Christ will be resurrected in eternal bodies, and us who are alive will be transformed.
And we will be living in that eternal body, and we will be here on Earth for 30 or 40 days; and there God will reveal Himself, the Deliverer, the one who will deliver us, He will reveal Himself to the Hebrew people; and then all Israel will be saved.
And then we will go from here to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb to Heaven, to the House of our heavenly Father; to be there for three and a half years, in that great heavenly feast, where Christ will be distributing the rewards for all the work that we have done in His Kingdom, in His Work, in the time that we have lived, as well as those who lived in past ages; in other words, that great feast is to reward each one according to the work that each person has done. Christ said in Revelation, chapter 22, verse 12:
“And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.”
There will be a reward for each person, each believer in Christ, for the labors that he has done in the Work of Christ.
In Revelation, chapter 19, verses 7 to 10, it says:
“Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready (His Wife is the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ).
And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.
And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb…”
All the people who are called to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb are blessed, because they will be transformed if they are alive, and will be taken in eternal bodies by Christ to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb. And the dead in Christ who have departed will be resurrected in eternal bodies, and will also be taken to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb to Heaven, to the House of our heavenly Father.
Now we can see how we will be delivered by the Word of God.
Now, let’s see how Christ tells us. He tells us that He is the Way, the Truth and the Life, and He says that no one comes to the Father but by Him.
Being that He is the Way, the Truth and the Life, as it says in John, chapter 14, verse 6 (and I want to read it directly):
“Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”
Since He is the Truth, let’s then see what He tells us in John, chapter 8, verse 32; Jesus says:
“And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”
Other versions say:1 “And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall deliver you.”
This Truth that sets free is the Way and is the Life, is our beloved Lord Jesus Christ; and He is the Word that became flesh and dwelt among human beings in the midst of the Hebrew people. In John, chapter 1, verse 1 and on, it says:
“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
The same was in the beginning with God.
All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.
There was a man sent from God, whose name was John (that is, John the Baptist).
The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe.
He was not that Light (that is, John the Baptist was not the Light), but was sent to bear witness of that Light.
That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.
He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.
He came unto his own (that is, the Hebrew people), and his own received him not.
But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God (why? Because they receive the Spirit of Christ and the new birth is carried out in them, and they are born as sons and daughters of God), even to them that believe on his name:
Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.”
Now we can see that the Word that was with God and was God, and created all things, now became flesh and dwelt among the Hebrew people; and was known by the name of Jesus of Nazareth.
There we have the Word that was with God, that is, the Angel of the Lord, the Angel of the Covenant, the one who appeared to Moses in that tree, that bush, and said to him: “I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob.”2
The Angel of the Lord, the Angel of the Covenant, you see, is the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. The Angel of the Covenant is God Himself in His theophanic body of the sixth dimension, also called the Word of God, and the Word that was with God and was God.
And now this Word, who was with God and was God, created all things, and by Him all things were made; and without Him was not anything made that was made. He is the One who in the beginning created the Heavens and the Earth. It says: “In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.”3
And now, notice how He came in human flesh, in that veil of flesh called Jesus. That is why when the prophet Malachi speaks of the Coming of the Angel of the Covenant, the Angel of the Lord, and announces that a messenger will come to prepare the way, which was John the Baptist, the prophet Malachi in chapter 3, verse 1 says:
“Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me (that was John the Baptist): and the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the Lord of hosts.”
Who would come? The Lord God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the Angel of the Lord, the Angel of the Covenant would come. He is the one to whom John the Baptist would be preparing the way. And he prepared the way for the Angel of the Lord, the Angel of the Covenant, who would come in human flesh; and when he saw Him, he said: “Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world. I knew Him not, but He that sent me to baptize said unto me: Upon whom thou shalt see the Holy Ghost descending in the form of a dove, and remaining on him, that is He: and I saw Him.”4
And as he saw Him descending upon Jesus, the Holy Spirit in the form of a dove when he baptized Him, he bore witness that Jesus was the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world.
It was nothing less than the Coming of the Angel of the Covenant, the Angel of the Lord, coming in human flesh, in a man named Jesus of Nazareth.
And there was the Deliverer, the one who delivered the Hebrew people back in Egypt and led them to the promised land; there was the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob made man, made flesh, in the midst of the Hebrew people; there was the I Am, the one who revealed Himself to Moses, and when Moses asked Him what His name was, He told him it was I Am.5
The I Am there revealed to Moses is the Jesus Christ of the New Testament. That is why you find on different occasions that Jesus Christ uses the “I am” a lot the: “Before Abraham was, I am.”6 And also when He spoke of the Light of the world, He said: “I am the light of the world.”7
We find Him using the “I am” because there was the I Am, the Angel of the Covenant, the Angel of the Lord, veiled in a body of human flesh and revealed through that body of human flesh.
The prophet Isaiah had said that God would come in the midst of the Hebrew people, when he prophesied in chapter 7, verse 14, of his book (of the book of Isaiah), where he says:
“Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.”
And Emmanuel means: God with us.8 It was God with human beings in the midst of the Hebrew people, visiting the human race, to bring about the deliverance of mankind.
And when He took our sins and died on Calvary’s Cross, there He delivered us. And then He resurrected, ascended to Heaven, and then poured out His Holy Spirit on 120 people who were in the upper room, who were born again there; because to enter the Kingdom of God, Christ said that it was necessary to be born again, born of Water and the Spirit.9
The disciples of Jesus Christ hadn’t been born again, until the Day of Pentecost, where the Holy Spirit came upon the believers in Jesus Christ: 120 who were gathered there waiting for the Holy Spirit; and there 120 people were born again, and thus the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ was born.
And from the Day of Pentecost until now there are millions of human beings who have believed in Christ as our Savior, have washed their sins in the Blood of Christ and have received the Spirit of Christ; and have been born again, born in the Kingdom of God.
Those who would believe in Jesus Christ as our Savior, wash away their sins in the Blood of Christ and receive His Holy Spirit are living on Earth for this end time; so that Christ would complete the number of His Mystical Body of believers, and then resurrect all the believers of the past who have died, and transform the believers in Him who live, who have received the Holy Spirit, in other words, who have oil in their lamps, as it was shown in the parable of the ten virgins.10
It was the ten wise virgins who, at the coming of the bridegroom, received him and went in with him to the marriage. And they are the wise virgins: the believers in Christ as our Savior, the elect of God, the firstborn of God, which in this end time are called and gathered, which in this end time receive the Coming of Christ, the Coming of the Angel of the Lord, the Angel of the Covenant, in this end time, and enter with Him to the Marriage.
And then the Door will be closed, for the elect (the wise virgins) to go to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb in Heaven; and the rest remain here on Earth to go through the great tribulation, where the divine judgments will be poured out upon the human race.
But you see, the Deliverer…, which is the Angel of the Covenant, the Angel of the Lord in the Old Testament, which in the New Testament is our beloved Lord Jesus Christ, who we find Him from stage to stage, from age to age, in Holy Spirit carrying out His Work relevant to each age, and carrying out the deliverance of each person who has his name written in the Lamb’s Book of Life since before the foundation of the world; carrying out that deliverance, that spiritual exodus, from the Day of Pentecost until now; where those who hear the preaching of the Gospel and hear the teaching, the preaching of the First Coming of Christ, and receive Him as their Savior, hearing that He died on Calvary’s Cross for each one of us and cleansed us from all sin with His precious Blood: By receiving Him as our Savior and washing our sins in the Blood of Christ, we receive the Spirit of Christ; and thus we are born again, and thus we have that deliverance within us.
And for the Last Day we will also obtain the physical deliverance, where He will deliver us physically by giving us an eternal and glorious body.
And thus, our Deliverer, who is our beloved Lord Jesus Christ, the Angel of the Covenant, will be in the midst of His Church carrying out that deliverance in this end time.
But first He has to conclude, that is, to complete the spiritual deliverance over all the sons and daughters of God who will be living in this end time. And when that spiritual deliverance is finished (where they receive Christ as their Savior, and wash their sins in the Blood of Christ, and receive the Spirit of Christ, and are placed in the age relevant to the Last Day), after that phase or spiritual stage of spiritual liberation is finished, then He will carry out the physical deliverance of the physical body, where the dead in Christ will be resurrected in physical, eternal and glorified bodies, just like the body of Jesus Christ, and we who are alive will be transformed.
And there the physical deliverance will have been carried out also, of all the elect of God who will be living in the Last Day and of those who lived in the past ages; because our Deliverer, who is our beloved Lord Jesus Christ, will deliver us physically also in this end time; because God delivers His people. And we will be DELIVERED BY THE WORD OF GOD, by the Word.
And the Word will come in this end time. As He came two thousand years ago, in human flesh, in that veil of flesh called Jesus; for this end time, the Angel of the Covenant, which is the same Jesus Christ in Holy Spirit, will come veiled in human flesh, and revealed through human flesh, to carry out His Program relevant to this Last Day, and to call and gather all His elect, and prepare us to be transformed and raptured in this end time.
He comes, the Angel of the Covenant, the Angel of the Lord, which is Jesus Christ in Holy Spirit, He will come manifested in human flesh in His Angel Messenger in this end time, to carry out the Work relevant to this end time. That will be the Coming of the Word, the Word incarnated in a man in this end time.
And if we find that veil of flesh, the Angel of the Lord Jesus Christ, we will be finding the instrument in which Jesus Christ will be manifested in Holy Spirit in this end time, for all of us to receive the blessings of Christ, to be called, to be gathered and to be prepared to be transformed in this end time; so that through the Word of God, the Word manifested in human flesh in the Last Day, to obtain that blessing of deliverance. And thus we shall all be delivered by the Word of God.
God also spoke of this to the Hebrew people in this divine cycle that He established to the Hebrew people of the year of jubilee, which is type and figure of the divine cycle where all the believers in Christ who departed will be resurrected and us who are alive will be transformed.
In Leviticus, chapter 25, verses 8 to 13, God says to the prophet Moses, and the prophet Moses to the Hebrew people:
“And thou shalt number seven sabbaths of years unto thee, seven times seven years; and the space of the seven sabbaths of years shall be unto thee forty and nine years.
Then shalt thou cause the trumpet of the jubile to sound on the tenth day of the seventh month, in the day of atonement shall ye make the trumpet sound throughout all your land.
And ye shall hallow the fiftieth year, and proclaim liberty throughout all the land unto all the inhabitants thereof: it shall be a jubile unto you; and ye shall return every man unto his possession, and ye shall return every man unto his family.
A jubile shall that fiftieth year be unto you: ye shall not sow, neither reap that which groweth of itself in it, nor gather the grapes in it of thy vine undressed.
For it is the jubile; it shall be holy unto you: ye shall eat the increase thereof out of the field.
In the year of this jubile ye shall return every man unto his possession.”
This Year of Jubilee is the divine cycle represented: the divine cycle in which God will physically deliver all His children living on this Earth, in this end time, and those who departed in the past; because it is in this cycle of the Year of Jubilee that the Trumpet of the Year of Jubilee is sounded or blown.
That is the same Trumpet of which Christ spoke in Matthew, chapter 24 and verse 31, when He said: “And He will send His Angels with a Great Voice of Trumpet, and they will gather together all His elect, from one end of Heaven to the other.”
And also Saint Paul, speaking to us of the resurrection of the dead in Christ and the transformation of us who are alive, told us that the Trumpet of God would be sounded. Let’s read first in First Thessalonians, chapter 4, verses 14 to 17, where it says:
“For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.
For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.
For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.”
See that it tells us that Christ, the Lord, descends from Heaven with a Voice of command, with the Voice of the Archangel and with the Trumpet of God; and the dead in Christ will resurrect first. Now we can see there that Great Voice of Trumpet or Trumpet of God.
Saint Paul also spoke to us in First Corinthians, in chapter 15, verse 49 to 54, about the resurrection of the dead in Christ and the transformation of us who are alive, and he said:
“And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly (Why? Because we will be in the image and likeness of our beloved Lord Jesus Christ).
Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.”
In other words, we can’t inherit the Kingdom of God while we are in the body of flesh; we must receive a new body. And we can’t obtain incorruption in this body, but we need a new body that is incorruptible. In other words, we can’t continue to live in this body of flesh, which is mortal, corruptible and temporary, we can’t continue to live for all eternity.
This body of flesh has a time limit; for some it is 10 years or 1 year, or 20 years, or 30 years, or 40 years, or 50 years, or 60 years, or 70 years, or 80 years; and sometimes they pass from 80 years to 90 years; and some go up to 100 years, and some also reach 105 or 110. There are very few who reach 100 years in our time, but some do.
But in spite of reaching such a great age, you see, those physical bodies have to die, because they are mortal, corruptible and temporary; those bodies that we have of flesh and blood can’t live eternally.
In order to live eternally physically, in a physical body, it is required that it be an immortal, incorruptible and glorified body, just like the body of our beloved Lord Jesus Christ. And now, that is what Christ has promised for all believers in Him.
So the person, when he hears the preaching of the Gospel and receives Christ as his Savior, is no fool; he is the wisest person there can be on Earth: He is securing his eternal life in an eternal body. And that is not being a fool. That is being a smart person, an intelligent person, a person aware that life is not only what we live here in this mortal body. The greatness of life is in the eternal body.
So some people are so stingy with themselves that they don’t give their soul the opportunity to live eternally, because they don’t receive Christ as their Savior; they are people who are stingy even with themselves (I don’t know what other word can be used). But, you see, you have a soul there, which desires to live eternally, and there is only one way to eternal life.
Jesus Christ said: “I am the way, the truth, and the life; and no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” That is the Way, Eternal Life is there: it is Jesus Christ; receiving Him as our Savior, washing our sins in the Blood of Christ and receiving His Holy Spirit, and thus being born again: and thus receiving a theophanic body of the sixth dimension, equal to the theophanic body of Jesus Christ. And then, in the Last Day, in the seventh millennium, we will receive the physical and eternal body that He has promised for all of us.
Now, see what a great blessing there is in believing in Christ as our Savior and washing our sins in the Blood of Christ and receiving His Holy Spirit: the person is born again, in the Kingdom of God, and thus obtains eternal life; by receiving Christ and being born again he has eternal life.
Christ said in John, chapter 5, verse 24:
“Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.”
When a person hasn’t received Christ as his Savior, he is in death; when a person receives Christ as his Savior, he has passed from death to eternal life and has received eternal life. And if he dies physically, he continues to live, because he has eternal life; he continues to live in his theophanic body that he received when he was born again. And for the Last Day he will receive an eternal physical body, because he will be resurrected in a physical and eternal and glorified body, and will continue to live physically as well for all eternity. And, well, we will be transformed in this end time.
First Corinthians, I continue reading where… I continue reading in verse 51, where it says:
“Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep (that is, we are not all going to die), but we shall all be changed (in other words, we will all receive a new body),
In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound…”
Which Trumpet? The Last Trumpet. That is the same Trumpet of which Christ said: “And He will send His Angels with a Great Voice of Trumpet and they will gather His elect.” And that is the same Trumpet that was symbolized, typified, in the trumpet of the year of jubilee that was sounded, it was sounded in the fiftieth year, in the seventh month, on the tenth day of the seventh month, which was the day of atonement, where the atonement was made there in the temple, for the reconciliation of the Hebrew people with God.
And now, it says that that Trumpet will be sounded, that Last Trumpet:
“…and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
For this corruptible (that is, our corruptible body) must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality (that is, to be clothed with immortality, to be transformed, and then we will have an eternal body).”
And us, you see, having the eternal body we will never get old, we will never die, but we will continue to live with Christ for all eternity.
“For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.”
There, you see, death disappears for the sons and daughters of God, because we will already be in an eternal and glorified body, equal to the body of our beloved Lord Jesus Christ; and thus we will be in the image and likeness of our beloved Lord Jesus Christ.
The image is the theophanic body and the likeness is the physical, eternal and glorified body that He will give us in the Last Day, that is, in the seventh millennium; a millennium which has already begun, if we add to the calendar the years of delay that it has; and if not, then there are only two and a half years left for the seventh millennium to begin, which is the Last Day before God.
Now see the great blessings for the Last Day: The Great Voice of Trumpet sounding and calling and gathering all the elect of God; the Great Voice of Trumpet of the Gospel of the Kingdom, which revolves around the Second Coming of Christ as the Lion of the tribe of Judah, as King of kings and Lord of lords, in His Reclaiming Work; just as the Great Trumpet of the Gospel of Grace revolves around the First Coming of Christ as the Lamb of God taking away the sin of the world.
And hearing that Trumpet of the Gospel of Grace, we hear the revelation of the First Coming of Christ as the Lamb of God taking away the sin of the world, and we receive the spiritual deliverance: we receive the new birth, and thus we obtain that deliverance and are placed in heavenly places in Christ Jesus our Lord.
And for the Last Day, hearing the Great Voice of Trumpet or Last Trumpet of the Gospel of the Kingdom revealing to us the mystery of the Second Coming of Christ as the Lion of the tribe of Judah, as King of kings and Lord of lords, in His Reclaiming Work, we are called, we are gathered and we are prepared to be transformed in this end time.
And the dead in Christ, in Paradise, well, they are hearing the preaching of the Gospel of the Kingdom in this end time, they are hearing that Great Voice of Trumpet; and they will rise, they will resurrect in eternal bodies in the Last Day, that is, in the seventh millennium.
Now, has God’s calendar fallen behind? I think not, I don’t think so. God’s calendar doesn’t get delayed, God’s Program doesn’t get delayed.
Therefore, we are already in the Last Day before God, where God has to be fulfilling His promises for the Last Day by sounding the Last Trumpet, the Trumpet of the Gospel of the Kingdom, which revolves around the Second Coming of Christ, and revealing the mystery of the Coming of the Son of Man, the Coming of the Lord: The Second Coming of Christ; revealing that mystery to the elect of God, and calling them and gathering them and preparing them to be transformed and raptured in this end time, and to be taken to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb.
Now, all those people who will hear the Voice of Christ, the Voice of the Angel of the Covenant, have their names written in the Book of Life. Some have it in the Lamb’s Book of Life: that section which is the section of the elect, of the firstborn of God; and others have their names written in the other section.
Those people, will be receiving the blessings of God for the end time, and will be seeing and receiving the Deliverer, who will come to Zion, which is the Church of Jesus Christ; and after carrying out the deliverance of all the elect of God, He will reveal Himself to the Hebrew people; and from Zion will go to the Hebrew people the Deliverer, who will remove ungodliness from Jacob; and the Hebrew people will receive Him in His Second Coming.
The Hebrew people is waiting for the Deliverer, they are waiting for the one who will deliver them; therefore, they are waiting for the Word, the Word coming in the Last Day to deliver the Hebrew people and to place the Hebrew people at the head of all nations, to restore the Hebrew people and to restore the Kingdom of God in the midst of the Hebrew people; and thus restore the Kingdom and Throne of David, where Christ, the Deliverer, the Messiah, will sit in the midst of the Hebrew people, as King of kings and Lord of lords; and will rule over the Hebrew people and over all nations.
That is what the Deliverer, Jesus Christ our Savior, will do in the seventh millennium, which is the Last Day before God; and thus the Hebrew people will be delivered, just as before the deliverance of the Hebrew people the deliverance of all the elect of God, of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, will take place.
And so we will all be DELIVERED BY THE WORD OF GOD, that is, by the Word, the Word coming on the Last Day.
It has been a great privilege for me to be with you, giving you testimony of the way in which we will all be delivered in this end time. We will all be delivered by the same one who delivered us spiritually and produced in us the new birth and gave us eternal life.
That same Deliverer is the one who will deliver us physically in this end time in His Coming, and He is the same Deliverer who delivered the Hebrew people from slavery in Egypt, and He is the same one who will deliver them in this end time, and will establish them as the nation in which the King of the whole planet Earth will be, that is, Jesus Christ as King of kings and Lord of lords, as Son of Man and Son of David, to reign over the Hebrew people and over all nations.
And now, where are those who would be delivered, those who will be physically delivered also, in this end time, by the Word of God? Well, here we are a group, here in this meeting; and through the radio, and also in different places of the Mexican Republic; and in different places of Latin America and the Caribbean, receiving the Word of God, the Word of the Deliverer, the Word of our beloved Lord Jesus Christ, to be prepared to be transformed and taken to the House of our heavenly Father in this end time, in the Last Day, which is the seventh millennium, and is also called the Lord’s Day.
May the blessings of the Deliverer, Jesus Christ our Savior, be upon each one of you and upon me as well. And may the number of God’s elect soon be completed, and may He soon resurrect the dead in Christ, and transform us, and make us equal to our beloved Lord Jesus Christ physically as well, with a glorified body like that of Jesus Christ; and then take us to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb to Heaven, to the House of our heavenly Father. In the Eternal Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen and amen.
May God continue to bless you all, beloved friends and brethren present, and listeners.
I leave again with us Reverend Miguel Bermudez Marin to give you addresses and telephone numbers to which you may call or write to obtain similar conferences to these (printed), or by videos, or by tapes, to continue obtaining more knowledge of this deliverance that God will carry out in this Last Day, where He will resurrect the dead in Christ and transform us in this end time.
That blessing is for the believers in our beloved Lord Jesus Christ who have washed their sins in the Blood of Christ and have received His Holy Spirit, and in this end time they hear the Voice of Christ calling them and gathering them in this end time, in the Age of the Cornerstone and Dispensation of the Kingdom.
So we have the Reverend Miguel Bermudez Marin, with telephone numbers and addresses for you, kind listeners, to write or call, to obtain more knowledge of all these things, to have more information and receive literature completely free, or tapes, or to bring you a video recorded with a conference similar to this one, so you can see and hear the Word of God that will deliver us in this end time.
May God bless you and keep you, and may you all have a good night. And with us the Reverend Miguel Bermudez Marin.
