Eating at the Lord’s table

Good evening, beloved brethren and friends present. It is a great blessing for me to be with you on this occasion, to share with you a few moments of fellowship around the Word of God and His Program relevant to this end time.

For which I want to read in Luke, chapter 12, verses 35 and on (35 to 44), where it tells us:

“Let your loins be girded about, and your lights burning;

And ye yourselves like unto men that wait for their lord, when he will return from the wedding; that when he cometh and knocketh, they may open unto him immediately.

Blessed are those servants, whom the lord when he cometh shall find watching: verily I say unto you, that he shall gird himself, and make them to sit down to meat, and will come forth and serve them.

And if he shall come in the second watch, or come in the third watch, and find them so, blessed are those servants.

And this know, that if the goodman of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched, and not have suffered his house to be broken through.

Be ye therefore ready also: for the Son of man cometh at an hour when ye think not.

Then Peter said unto him, Lord, speakest thou this parable unto us, or even to all?

And the Lord said, Who then is that faithful and wise steward, whom his lord shall make ruler over his household, to give them their portion of meat in due season?

Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.

Of a truth I say unto you, that he will make him ruler over all that he hath.”

May God bless our souls with His Word and allow us to understand It.

Our topic is: “EATING AT THE LORD’S TABLE.”

In order to understand our topic, EATING AT THE LORD’S TABLE, we have to see it from different angles, since this topic is reflected from different angles; and therefore we have to see this topic, EATING AT THE LORD’S TABLE, as it was reflected in ancient kings, among the Hebrew people and also among other nations, where there were people, princes, who ate at the king’s table, and they were the guests when the king would eat; and when special meals were held, those princes and the king’s sons and his wife were at the table with the king.

And now, in a royal family, it is the princes and princesses who sit at table with the king and queen, because that is the royalty of that nation.

And now, just as the children of the king and queen sit at table with the king and queen, and blessed are those people who sit at table to eat with the king, so also with the King of the Heavens and Earth, King of kings and Lord of lords, our beloved Lord Jesus Christ, we have the promise that we will sit with Him at His table.

And now, this has been reflected from stage to stage —as I told you— in the kings, with the people who sat with them at the table; and of the king’s food also other people ate: guests of the king and also people who belonged to other nations but who were of the royal class, of royalty.

For example, in the reign of Nebuchadnezzar, of the king’s food, of the food that was ordered for the king, you see, they gave Daniel and his companions; in other words, they ate from the king’s table, from those rations that were for royalty (and now…), and that was ordered by the king, and from there it went out to those other people; although they didn’t necessarily have to be sitting at the table with the king.1

But now, Christ promises here to come to serve all those who will be watching in the end time.

Just as in Christ’s earthly life and ministry, He sat with His disciples at table and washed their feet; for example, at the last supper He washed their feet; and so on. That was the last supper: He took bread, gave thanks to God, blessed it, and broke it and gave it to them, and said: “Eat; this is my body which is broken for you”2; thus the body of Christ is represented in the bread which He took on that occasion, at that last supper.

And notice, that supper was also representing, historically, the last supper that the Hebrew people had there in Egypt, the night before the departure of the Hebrew people; because they left the next day in the morning, but before that they had that last supper in Egypt, and they ate the Passover lamb, and ate unleavened bread. And the Passover lamb they had slain the day before the Passover.

That is, on Friday afternoon (from noon down) they sacrificed the lamb, put the blood of the lamb on the lintel of the doors of their homes and the doorposts, roasted the lamb, and then, during the night, ate the lamb. From sundown onwards, even though it was Friday evening, from sundown onwards it was Saturday for the Hebrew people.

And we find that it is always like that: The days for the Hebrew people end in the evening, at sunset, and a new day begins there, in the evening. And therefore, when they already eat the lamb, it is already a new day; it is the night of the Passover, which represents —the Passover— Christ, the Passover Lamb.

And now, you see, Christ takes that Passover memorial feast and updates it in His life, Christ being the Passover Lamb. For all that had been done in Egypt was representing what Christ would carry out for the deliverance of all the sons and daughters of God from bondage into which the devil had brought the sons and daughters of God, the human race. And the literal Egypt, back in the time when God delivered the Hebrew people through the prophet Moses, that Egypt and its pharaoh, represents the devil enslaving the human race and most of all the sons and daughters of God.

And now, before that deliverance was fulfilled by Christ carrying out that deliverance, it was reflected in the deliverance of the Hebrew people, where God used the prophet Moses, and where the symbols of what Christ would do in the deliverance that He would carry out were established.

Now, we can see how before God carried out a Program in all its fullness, He first reflected it in past ages and dispensations; and now, when He materializes it, we find that it becomes a reality and is carried out on a higher scale and in a new dispensation.

And now, Christ had eaten the Passover with His disciples in previous years; but now, when He eats it for the last time, He fulfills it there in the land of Israel, materializing in His life the sacrifice of the Passover lamb, so that we may eat His flesh and drink His Blood; for “whoever does not eat my flesh and drink my Blood has no abiding life in him,”3 Jesus Christ says.

And Christ is the Word, who became flesh; and when we believe in Christ as our Savior, and receive Him, and wash our sins in His Blood and receive His Holy Spirit, we have eaten Christ; and we have drunk His Blood, because we have drunk His Spirit (we have drunk of the Water of eternal life, which is His Holy Spirit), and we have thus obtained the forgiveness of our sins, and we have obtained the new birth: we have obtained the Life of the Blood, which is the Holy Spirit.

And now, the Life of the Blood being in us is the sign.

As the sign was placed on the lintel and doorposts of the Hebrew homes, to save the firstborn from death, so that the life of the firstborn would continue; we find that for the sons and daughters of God, the firstborn of God from Heaven, to live eternally, they need to have the Life of the Blood, the Holy Spirit in their souls, in their hearts; and Him being there, the Blood of Christ is applied on the lintel and doorposts of our heart, of our soul.

And now see how in us as individuals, being a house, house of God, temple of God, all this is carried out in our life; and in the Church of Jesus Christ as the House of God, as the spiritual Temple of Christ, it is also carried out in this way: being the Spirit of Christ in the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, applying the Blood of Christ in His Church.

Christ is the Door, and the Door has the Blood of Redemption: it was the Blood of Christ that was shed, therefore that Door has the Blood for Redemption, to wash away the sins of all the members of the House of God. And he who enters through that Door receives the forgiveness of his sins, his sins are washed away in the Blood of Christ, and he is safe inside that House; because the sign that is required for death not to enter that House is in that House. Those who are there, are safe, because they are under the sign of the New Covenant, the sign of the Blood of our beloved Lord Jesus Christ.

You see, those who are inside that House, the House of God, the Church of Jesus Christ, are under a new covenant: Under the New Covenant of God through Christ and His Blood shed on Calvary’s Cross.

And now, we find that not only this feast has already been fulfilled, which the Hebrew people celebrated in commemoration of what God had already done in the Exodus, there in the midst of Egypt, where the children of Israel were captives… Now, for their deliverance, you see, all of that took place; and then the Hebrew people, by divine order, celebrated it once a year: on the 14th day of the first month they sacrificed the Passover lamb. And now, this feast has been fulfilled in Christ Jesus.

The feast of atonement on the tenth day of the seventh month of each year was also fulfilled in Jesus Christ for our reconciliation with God.

And the feast of the waved sheaf was fulfilled in Jesus Christ our Savior. He is the first waved Sheaf: The first to come to maturity, the first to obtain adoption; and therefore He sat down in the Throne of God, at the right hand of God, and received a new name.

And now, the feast of tabernacles, which the Hebrew people celebrated in the seventh month of each year, we find that the materialization of that feast will be the glorious Millennial Kingdom of our beloved Lord Jesus Christ.

See how all those feasts that God gave to the Hebrew people are type and figure of the great feasts that God will materialize with His people; and then we will enjoy, during the Millennial Kingdom and for eternity, those great feasts; because every feast that takes place in the Millennium or in eternity has to have a history of divine love manifested throughout the history of the human race; because a feast always takes place in commemoration of some great event.

And all these great events of divine love, manifested from stage to stage in the Divine Program, are —for the Millennial Kingdom and for eternity— the great memorial feasts that we will have materialized in the Kingdom of God. So every feast that we will have in the Millennium and in eternity will have a story of divine love manifested on behalf of all of us.

And now, in the House of God, which is His Church, we eat Bread, which is the Word of God; and we take the Wine of the Spirit, of the stimulus by the divine revelation, stimulus by the divine revelation that the Holy Spirit gives us; and we have the Oil of the Holy Spirit.

And in the commemoration of the Holy Supper, the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ since her birth there in Jerusalem has been commemorating the last supper of the Lord, and therefore commemorating the death of our beloved Lord Jesus Christ, and symbolizing in the bread and the wine the body and the Blood of Jesus Christ.

And the body of Christ, Him being the Word, you see, when we eat His Word, we are eating His flesh; and when we take His Spirit, we are taking the Life of the Blood, which is the Holy Spirit.

And now, in the House of God, which is the Church, who is the faithful and wise servant, whom their Lord has set over His House to give them the Food in due season (that is, the spiritual bread)? For “man shall not live by bread alone, but by every Word that proceeds out of the mouth of God.”4 That faithful and wise servant who is in the Last Day giving that spiritual food, Christ says: “Blessed is that servant whom his Lord when He comes shall find so doing. Truly, I say to you, He will set him over all His goods.”5

And in the Last Day we will be being well fed, EATING AT THE LORD’S TABLE, in the House of the Lord, in the Church of Jesus Christ, eating the spiritual food that the faithful and wise servant will be serving us, which he receives from our beloved Lord Jesus Christ; and thus we will be EATING AT THE LORD’S TABLE spiritually.

Then, at the Marriage Supper of the Lamb, when we go with Christ… A little…, let’s see a little before that.

Christ, before we go, Christ coming manifested: To the faithful and wise servants who will be in the Last Day working of the Work of Christ with the messenger of the Last Day, Christ will serve in His House and at His table the spiritual food relevant to this end time; and thus He will be giving us of the Tree of Life, as to the faithful and wise servant; for He will give him also —through the faithful and wise servant— to all those who will be working arm in arm with him, and therefore, to all the brethren of all the congregations, who will have faithful and wise servants being fed, and sharing with them that spiritual food.

Just as Christ promised to give him of the Tree of Life (and Christ is the Tree of Life, and He is the Word); so, by giving it to the faithful and wise servant, and him sharing it with all the ministers, and the ministers with all their congregations: We will all be eating of the Tree of Life, Christ the Word.

And it is Christ through His Angel Messenger who will serve us that spiritual food, at His table, the table of the Lord, in the House of God, the House of the Lord, which is His Church.

Then, when we are taken with Christ to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb, there Christ will serve us in the corresponding form, of that Great Marriage Supper of the Lamb. Whether it will be literal or spiritual, we will see when we are there; but we will be able to eat physically or spiritually as well; for Christ, when He resurrected, He ate physically as well.6 Therefore, our glorified bodies will be prepared to eat physically or spiritually, too.

Now, when in Revelation, chapter 10, verse 1 to 11, the Mighty Angel descending from Heaven with the little Book open in His hand gives John the apostle to eat that Book, that Book being the Title Deed, the Word; notice, it is not a physical food, but it is the Word of God to eat, because “man shall not live by bread alone, but by every Word that proceeds from the mouth of God.”

It is eaten by John the apostle, who is type and figure there of the Angel Messenger of Jesus Christ of the Last Day; and then he will prophesy over many peoples, nations and tongues. He shares that Word with all the members of the Mystical Body of the Lord Jesus Christ. And that is how we eat of the Title Deed, the Title Deed in the Last Day, to be restored to eternal life.

And when we are in the new body and we are at the Marriage Supper of the Lamb, there we will eat the Great Marriage Supper of the Lamb, at that great feast or —as we would say— reception of the Marriage of the Lamb. What will it be like? Let us wait until we are there.

During the Millennium we will also be able to eat physically or spiritually; and the people who will live in the Millennium, in addition to the elect of God, will live in physical bodies and will eat of the fruit of the Earth; and we will also be able to eat with them of the fruit of the Earth.

For the Millennial Kingdom we will also be able to be at table with the Lord and eat spiritually or materially as well. Then, every year, surely there will be a great supper in commemoration of that great deliverance that Christ materialized for all of us; as the Hebrew people commemorated the great feast of the deliverance from Egypt, where they had sacrificed the Passover lamb.

And now, during eternity, people will also eat; and God’s elect, therefore, will be able to eat physically or they will be able to eat spiritually as well. Therefore, there will be no problems for the kings and priests, who are the members of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ.

So we have seen that there are different aspects of eating at the Lord’s table. All this is being reflected since ancient times; and then, when we are at the Marriage Supper of the Lamb, it will be fulfilled there also, and when we are in the Millennium, and when we are in eternity.

Currently, we are at the table of the Lord eating the Word, and drinking the Life of the Blood, the Holy Spirit, and receiving the stimulus of divine revelation, the stimulus that the Wine produces; and so we are filled with joy at the table of the Lord, eating the spiritual bread of the Word of God, in the House of the Lord, where He has placed faithful and wise servants from age to age.

And for this end time, what would the faithful and wise servant serve us, what would be the menu for our time? The Word of God relevant to the Age of the Cornerstone and Dispensation of the Kingdom.

“Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter,” says Revelation, chapter 4, verse 1, Christ speaking with that Voice of Trumpet.

And to give us that revelation, that spiritual food, it says Revelation 22, verse 6: “And he said unto me, These sayings are faithful and true: and the Lord God of the holy prophets sent his angel to shew (manifest) unto his servants the things which must shortly be done.”

And now notice how He makes known to us all these things that must shortly come to pass: Through His Angel Messenger, because that is the instrument of Christ to give us that spiritual food for our soul.

And it also says Revelation, chapter 22, verse 16:

“I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches.”

That Angel Messenger of Jesus Christ is the one that brings the spiritual food for our soul in this end time, in the Age of the Cornerstone and Dispensation of the Kingdom; so that we may eat at the table of the Lord, with the faithful and wise servant, the Food that Christ delivers for all of us; so that after we have eaten and are well fed, and the number of the elect of God that have to be born in the House of God is completed: Christ resurrects the dead believers in Him and transforms us who live; and takes us from this dimension to the seventh dimension, to the dimension of God, in glorified bodies, to be with Him at the table of the Lord, with Christ, with Abraham, with Isaac, with Jacob, with all those men of God: The prophets of the Old Testament, and the apostles of the New Testament, and the seven angel messengers of the seven ages, with their groups, each messenger (and the prophets of the Old Testament also), and us with the Angel of the Lord Jesus Christ; and all together we will be enjoying the Great Marriage Supper of the Lamb in the House of our heavenly Father, in the seventh dimension.

It has been for me a great privilege to be with you tonight giving testimony of how we are EATING AT THE LORD’S TABLE today, and how we will eat at the Lord’s table at the Great Marriage Supper of the Lamb, and how we will eat in the Millennial Kingdom and in eternity.

May the blessings of Jesus Christ, the Angel of the Covenant, be upon all of you and upon me also; and may the number of God’s elect soon be completed; and may all the dead in Christ soon be resurrected in eternal bodies and may we be transformed, and all be taken with Christ to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb in Heaven. In the Eternal Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen and amen.

It has been a great privilege for me to be with you on this last night of activities here in Asuncion, Paraguay. It will be until next year, God willing, when I will be with you, either in this body or in the new body; and you, either in that body you have or in the new body. We don’t know if next year we will be transformed or if later on, we don’t know in which year; but the important thing is to know that we are at the Lord’s table, eating the Word, because “man shall not live by bread alone, but by every Word that proceeds from the mouth of God.”

And when the time comes for us to be transformed, we will be transformed. So we can’t know what the year is, but we can know that those of us who are ready will be transformed. And we will be ready for that moment!

So onward EATING AT THE LORD’S TABLE the Word of the Lord of this Last Day, in the Age of the Cornerstone.

May God bless you and keep you all.

There is nothing more important for the children of God than eternal life; and that life is in Jesus Christ our Savior, there it is hidden. In the mystery of eternal life, being opened to all of us, we receive it; and we have believed in Him, in Jesus Christ as our Savior, washed away our sins in His Blood and received His Holy Spirit. See the mystery of eternal life, how simple it is.

Now, the words of Jesus: “I am the way, the truth, and the life; and no one comes to the Father, but by me,”7 we can see how one achieves that which He has promised in order to reach the Father through Jesus Christ our Savior. “Eternal life.”

And because Jesus Christ is Eternal Life, we follow Eternal Life: Jesus Christ our Savior. “I follow, I follow Jesus Christ.” I follow, I follow Eternal Life.

So “Let us speak of Christ.” We have no other to speak of but Jesus Christ our Savior, for He is eternal life for us all. “Let us speak of Christ.”

We are following Christ, we are speaking of Christ, with faith in Christ.

Dear people, Jesus Christ is with you, and I am also with you.

“EATING AT THE LORD’S TABLE.”
