Harvesting Time – Introduction

Good evening, beloved brethren and friends present, also to our friend and brother, doctor Miguel Bermudez Marin, engineer Ivan Sarmiento, reverend Mauricio Vivas and the entire congregation gathered there in Cali, Colombia; and to all ministers and their congregations gathered in different places, in different nations, to hear the Word of God and praising God.

Now, we asked – I asked our brother, doctor Miguel Bermudez Marin to have a bit of a longer part today, so that I would only have a few moments to greet you and speak to you as an introduction for the Bible study of next Sunday, of the Bible school, titled: “HARVESTING TIME”… So that you may study in your homes while Sunday approaches (the day after tomorrow), let us read two Scriptures: John, chapter 4, verses 34 to 38; and the other Scripture is Matthew, chapter 24, verse 30 to 31.

“Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work.

Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest.

And he that reapeth receiveth wages, and gathereth fruit unto life eternal: that both he that soweth and he that reapeth may rejoice together.

And herein is that saying true, One soweth, and another reapeth.

I sent you to reap that whereon ye bestowed no labour: other men laboured, and ye are entered into their labours.”

And chapters 24 and 13 of Matthew. Chapter 13, verses 36 and on… 36 to 43 of Matthew, chapter 13, says:

“Then Jesus sent the multitude away, and went into the house: and his disciples came unto him, saying, Declare unto us the parable of the tares of the field.

He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man;

The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one;

The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels.

As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world.

The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity;

And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.

Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.”

Now, let us turn to Matthew, chapter 24, verse 30 to 31, which says:

“And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.”

May God bless our souls with His Word and allow us to understand it.

The Bible study for next Sunday’s Bible school will revolve around these Scriptures, God willing.

The Divine Program is reflected in the human being’s environment. For example, the wheat represents the children of God, the tares represents the children of the wicked one; and the Son of Man is the one who sows the good seed, and the one who sows the tares is the wicked one (Christ calls him the devil); and as for the reapers of the wheat…, it says that the Son of Man will send His Angels, there we have the ones who are in charge of the harvest, with their team for the harvest.

Just as in the days of Jesus, we find that Christ tells them: “Other men laboured, and ye are entered into their labours;” and Christ sent His disciples to harvest. And we find that Peter, one of the people who represents one of the Two Olive Trees, and Paul represents the other Olive Tree, we find that with his work team, each one of them sowed the good seed; or rather, each of them reaped, or rather, harvested the crop of the Old Testament and placed them in the Divine Program, in a new dispensation.

Just as Peter and Paul brought the Gospel…, Peter by preaching it to the Jews with his work team and Paul preaching it to the gentiles with his work team; the Two Olive Trees are represented in Peter and Paul; and just as the Jews brought the Gospel to the gentiles through the ministry of the Spirit of God in Peter and Paul, the gentiles will take it back to the Jews, and the rapture will take place, says reverend William Branham.

In other words, there is a great mystery for the time of the harvest, that harvest in which the elect of the Last Day are reaped and also the 144,000 Hebrews, 12,000 from each tribe; because the end time is the time for the harvest, and the Lord Jesus Christ says in the parable of the wheat and the tares that the Son of Man will be the one to send His Angels to carry out the harvest. That is in page or chapter 13, verse 41, where it says:

“The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity (that is one of the things that the Angels the Son of man will do)…

It says that the Angels are the reapers, that is why in Matthew, chapter 24, verses 30 to 31, says… Verse 31 says:

“And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.”

And in chapter 13, verse 47 and on, says, of Matthew:

“Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a net, that was cast into the sea, and gathered of every kind:

Which, when it was full, they drew to shore, and sat down, and gathered the good into vessels, but cast the bad away.

So shall it be at the end of the world: the angels shall come forth, and sever the wicked from among the just,

And shall cast them into the furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.”

The wicked ones will be cast into the furnace of fire; the good ones, the righteous ones: into the Kingdom of Christ. It is as simple as that.

The Angels have a mission, just as Paul and Peter had a mission to take the Gospel to the Jews and gentiles, fulfilling types and figures of the Old Testament; because the Old Testament contains the type and figure of what the New Testament would be.

In next Sunday’s Bible School we will study this subject in more detail: THE HARVESTING TIME or TIME TO REAP, as it is read in some passages of the Bible.

May the blessings of Christ, the Angel of the Covenant, be upon each and every one of you, and for next Sunday, may He open the Scriptures to us and speak directly to our soul and open our understanding to comprehend. In the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.

Continue having a happy evening filled with the blessings of Christ our Savior.

I leave reverend Jose Benjamin Perez with you, and in each country I leave the corresponding minister to continue.

“HARVESTING TIME.”
