Good morning to all who are connected via the Amazonas satellite and the internet.
Warm greetings to missionary Dr. Miguel Bermudez Marin and Reverend Martin Franco, and the congregation there in Bogota, Colombia; also, to all the congregations and ministers in every country.
May God bless you greatly and may the number of the elect of God soon be fulfilled, and Christ resurrect the dead believers in Him, and transform all of us and taken with Christ to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb. In the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
I appreciate the support you are giving to the project of The Great Tent Cathedral; it is a project which we know will be of great blessing for all of the human family. May God reward you spiritually and materially as well.
For today, Sunday, February 18, 2018, we will have as the subject for the Bible school: “THE FOUNTAIN THAT GIVES WATER FOR EVERLASTING LIFE.”
The Fountain is Jesus Christ; the Water is the Holy Spirit.
With this introduction, let us go on to the subject we will hear on this occasion. And may God open the Scriptures to us and our understanding in order to comprehend. In the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
On one occasion, Jesus Christ was speaking with the Samaritan woman about the water of everlasting life, and thus says the conversation that Christ had with the Samaritan woman, in chapter 4, verse 10 to 14 of John, says the following:
“Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water.
The woman saith unto him, Sir, thou hast nothing to draw with, and the well is deep: from whence then hast thou that living water?
Art thou greater than our father Jacob, which gave us the well, and drank thereof himself, and his children, and his cattle?
Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again:
But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.”
On this occasion, it is about a Fountain of Water, which springs up for everlasting life.
And in chapter 7, verse 37 to 39 of John, it identifies the Fountain and what the Water of that Fountain that springs up for everlasting life is. And it says:
“In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink.
He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.
(But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)”
Here we find that Jesus Christ identifies Himself as the Fountain of Water for everlasting life. Jesus Christ is the Fountain, and the Water of everlasting life is the Holy Spirit that He will give to all those who come to Him receiving Him as only and sufficient Savior; and those are the ones who form the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ from age to age, in the Dispensation of the Grace.
Therefore, it is important to know the Fountain that gives Water for everlasting life, because the desire of the human being is to live eternally. Because the human being is made to live eternally in the Kingdom of God, which is eternal.
Therefore, it is important that we all drink from the Fountain of Water that springs up for everlasting life. “THE FOUNTAIN THAT GIVES WATER FOR EVERLASTING LIFE.”
Let us proceed with the video, which speaks to us about this subject more openly. And may God open the Scriptures to all of us and our understanding in order to comprehend.
