Jesus gives sight to the one who was blind

Good morning, beloved friends and brethren present. It is a great blessing and privilege to be with you on this occasion, to share some moments of fellowship around the Divine Program relevant to this Last Day.

For which I want to read in John, chapter 9. This is the case of a young man who was blind and was healed by Jesus; and then they threw him out of the synagogue, when he testified about Jesus. See, the case says… It says that the child’s parents, out of fear of the Jews, did not dare to say who was the one who healed the young man; it says… let’s see… let’s start on verse 13, we will read part of it here; it says:

“They brought to the Pharisees him that aforetime was blind.

And it was the sabbath day when Jesus made the clay, and opened his eyes.

Then again the Pharisees also asked him how he had received his sight. He said unto them, He put clay upon mine eyes, and I washed, and do see.

Therefore said some of the Pharisees, This man (that is, Jesus) is not of God, because he keepeth not the sabbath day. Others said, How can a man that is a sinner do such miracles? And there was a division among them.

They say unto the blind man again, What sayest thou of him, that he hath opened thine eyes? He said, He is a prophet.

But the Jews did not believe concerning him, that he had been blind, and received his sight, until they called the parents of him that had received his sight.

And they asked them, saying, Is this your son, who ye say was born blind? how then doth he now see?

His parents answered them and said, We know that this is our son, and that he was born blind:

But by what means he now seeth, we know not; or who hath opened his eyes, we know not: he is of age; ask him: he shall speak for himself.

These words spake his parents, because they feared the Jews: for the Jews had agreed already, that if any man did confess that he was Christ, he should be put out of the synagogue.

Therefore said his parents, He is of age; ask him.

Then again called they the man that was blind, and said unto him, Give God the praise: we know that this man is a sinner (in other words, that Jesus is a sinner).

He answered and said, Whether he be a sinner or no, I know not: one thing I know, that, whereas I was blind, now I see.

Then said they to him again, What did he to thee? how opened he thine eyes?

He answered them, I have told you already, and ye did not hear: wherefore would ye hear it again? will ye also be his disciples?

Then they reviled him, and said, Thou art his disciple; but we are Moses’ disciples.

We know that God spake unto Moses: as for this fellow (that is, Jesus), we know not from whence he is.”

And why didn’t they look for Jesus’ birth certificate? He had already been with them for 30, 33 years; if they wanted to know where He was from, well…

“The man answered and said unto them, Why herein is a marvellous thing, that ye know not from whence he is, and yet he hath opened mine eyes.

Now we know that God heareth not sinners: but if any man be a worshipper of God, and doeth his will, him he heareth.”

There He is teaching them, there He is teaching the Bible, to those who wanted to know how Jesus opened his eyes. And now, it continues:

“Since the world began was it not heard that any man opened the eyes of one that was born blind.

If this man were not of God, he could do nothing.

They answered and said unto him, Thou wast altogether born in sins, and dost thou teach us? (And now He was teaching them what they didn’t know). And they cast him out (they took Him out, from there, from the synagogue).

Jesus heard that they had cast him out; and when he had found him, he said unto him, Dost thou believe on the Son of God?

He answered and said, Who is he, Lord, that I might believe on him?

And Jesus said unto him, Thou hast both seen him, and it is he that talketh with thee.”

See how He reveals Himself to this man to whom He opened his eyes and tells him: “I am.” He shows him that the promise of the Coming of the Messiah is before him; and it is the fulfillment of the promise of the Messiah in Jesus of Nazareth, who did the miracle of opening his eyes to see.

“And he said, Lord, I believe. And he worshipped him.

And Jesus said, For judgment I am come into this world, that they which see not might see; and that they which see might be made blind.

And some of the Pharisees which were with him heard these words, and said unto him, Are we blind also?

Jesus said unto them, If ye were blind, ye should have no sin: but now ye say, We see; therefore your sin remaineth.”

There was no way to defend themselves from Jesus; because He is the Word and He answered them with the Word.

“JESUS GIVES SIGHT TO THE ONE WHO WAS BLIND.”

Now, we can see that in the midst of the Hebrew people there were physically blind and there were spiritually blind. And now, it is a more terrible thing to be spiritually blind than physically blind.

Notice, there were physically blind people who believed Jesus; and when Jesus passed by, they said¹: “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!”; they recognized Him as the Son of David; and then Jesus gave them physical sight also. And to this blind man, Jesus placed mud on his eyes².

How many remember how Jesus made the mud? An unsanitary way, isn’t it? But you see, a saliva of Jesus was more effective than all the medicines that the hospitals had; because none of the medicines in the hospitals can give sight to a man who was blind since birth.

And now, it was God’s power manifested through Jesus; but He used… He could only speak the Word and so it happened too, but He did it that way.

Notice, He used different ways: in other times He placed His fingers, His hands, over people’s eyes³, and in other times He could speak the Word and the person would be completely restored to sight⁴.

But in this case He placed mud; in other words, He spat on the ground, made mud and placed it on the eyes of the blind man; who was blind from birth, in other words, he had never had his sight. It was not a restoration, because he had never seen, it was a creation.

And you see, when God created man, where did He create him from? From the dust of the ground; and from the dust of the ground He made his arms, his feet, He made his head and his eyes as well. And now Christ is creating sight to this blind man; that miracle was by divine creation.

And now, by divine creation, by the creative Word of God is that God can open the spiritual eyes of people.

And now, notice how this man who was blind, when he received his sight, he was speaking the Word – speaking about Christ and defending Christ, saying… When they ask him: “What do you say about this man?”, he says: “That he is a prophet”; and when they tell him that this man is a sinner, he says: “Whether he is a sinner or not, I don’t know; but one thing I know, that before I was blind and now I see.” And there is no argument against success.

And now, then he says: “God doesn’t hear sinners (he is teaching them the Word); but if a man is fearful of God, God hears him.” And he continues to teach these people the Word of God. And then he tells them…, after telling them:

“…if any man be a worshipper of God, and doeth his will, him he heareth.”

He is telling them that Jesus is fearful of God and does God’s will. And then he tells them:

“Since the world began was it not heard that any man opened the eyes of one that was born blind. 

If this man (that is, if Jesus) were not of God, he could do nothing.”

And now, you see, this great miracle —in this man blind since birth— is a type and figure of the spiritual miracle that God does in people: that He opens their spiritual eyes to see the fulfillment of the divine promise for the time the person is living in, so that they can see the Divine Program and enter the Divine Program, and testify —like this man— testify of the Program of God for that time.

Now, we can see how Christ also, there in His First Coming, in chapter 4 of Luke, speaks to us here quoting the Word of Isaiah; because He came to the synagogue of Nazareth, where He had been raised (and this was in the beginning of His ministry); it says, chapter 4, verse 14 and on:

“And Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit into Galilee: and there went out a fame of him through all the region round about.

And he taught in their synagogues, being glorified of all.

And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the sabbath day (because He used to go to the synagogue on the Sabbath, when He was there in Nazareth; and when He was elsewhere, too), and stood up for to read.

And there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet Esaias. And when he had opened the book, he found the place where it was written,

The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,

To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.

And he closed the book, and he gave it again to the minister, and sat down. And the eyes of all them that were in the synagogue were fastened on him.

And he began to say unto them, This day is this scripture fulfilled in your ears.”

Now see how Christ testified of the Scriptures that were being fulfilled in those days in Him; and they were the messianic Scriptures, the Scriptures that promised the Coming of the Messiah; and Jesus testifies that those promises are being fulfilled in Him.

But those who were there in the synagogue couldn’t believe; and we find that in that same passage, at the end [verse 29], then they get up and throw Jesus out of the synagogue and take Him to a cliff in the city (because the city was on a mountain); and they take Jesus to that cliff to throw Him over that cliff, over that cliff, to kill Him.

How is it possible that people who go to church, to the synagogue, to serve God on the Sabbath, and say that on the Sabbath you can’t work, you can’t do works, except to be serving God in the temple?, and now they get up to kill a person. Now that is a work, and a bad one; bad works.

To do bad works, they could break the Sabbath and say that they were not making the Sabbath void; and Jesus doing good works on the Sabbath, they said that Jesus was breaking the Sabbath. But the Son of Man is Lord of the Sabbath⁵; and He does all the works that He has to do on the Sabbath, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and He comes back on the Sabbath and does works again on the Sabbath.</sup>

And now, you see how Jesus in the midst of a people that gave Him so many problems still continued with them; and He continued ministering the Word to them, healing the sick and preaching the Gospel, and testifying to them that the fulfillment of the Coming of the Messiah was fulfilled in their midst. Although they rejected Him, He testified that He was the promised Messiah, the King of Israel.

And with the Coming of Jesus, the Coming of the Messiah in the midst of the Hebrew people, the eyes of the great wise men in theology, in religious matters of the Hebrew people, were blinded, because of the veil of flesh in which the First Coming of the Messiah was fulfilled.

God, in order to fulfill the promise of the Coming of the Messiah was veiled in human flesh: He entered into a body of flesh called Jesus and fulfilled in Him the Coming of the Messiah; and because of that veil the people who rejected Him were blinded.

He closed, blinded some of them from the veil of flesh, because they said: “This one can’t be the Messiah. This one can’t be the Messiah. He is a young carpenter from Nazareth; we are not expecting a carpenter, we are expecting a king.” But look at the simple way the King of Israel came: in the form of a construction worker; and they were blinded by the veil.

The veil didn’t let them see the Coming of the Angel of the Lord, the Angel of the Covenant, in the fulfillment of His Coming, for He was in human flesh, in a young carpenter from Nazareth. Therefore, spiritually, the eyes of some were blinded and the eyes of others were spiritually opened; just as He opened the eyes of that young man who was blind since birth.

And now, for His Second Coming, what does the Reverend William Branham say? Let’s see on page 151 of the book of Quotations what the Reverend William Branham says in relation to the Second Coming of Christ.

He tells us about the time when the temple was dedicated (I don’t see here if it was the temple that Solomon built), it could have been the temple that Solomon built. Just as when Moses dedicated the tabernacle to God, notice, the glory of God entered, and the priests couldn’t minister because of the presence of the glory of God. And now, on this occasion, when Solomon dedicated the temple, the priests couldn’t minister.

And now look at what he says: on page 151, verse 1345, of the book of Quotations, it says⁶:

“And the glory of God was in there, till the pe-…they couldn’t even see how to minister. Amen. It’ll close the eyes of every theologian, when He comes for His Bride (and now he talks about the Second Coming of the Lord). She’ll be taken up in the—in the middle of the night, as it was, to them. They won’t even see Her go.”

Now look, when He comes for His Bride —Christ—, for His Church, He will close the eyes of every theologian.

Let’s also see on page 126; verse 1117 says⁷:

“‘Wouldn’t them seven thunders blasting out, won’t that be a Revelation be give to some man?’ (It’s a question) I said, ‘No, sir, it would be adding something to It or taking Something from It.’ It’s all revealed in There, and the Seven Seals opened up the revelation of what That was. That’s what it was. See, it’s still in the Word. You see, you can’t get out of that Word. It won’t leave the Word. And God’s Spirit will never leave that Word. It’ll stay right with the Word; blinding some, and open the eyes of others.”

Now see that those Seven Thunders is not the revelation given to a man over there, who comes saying something, but it is what is already promised in the Scripture; and in the Scripture it is promised that the Seven Thunders will reveal the mystery of the Seventh Seal.

The Seven Thunders are the ones that contain the revelation of what the Seventh Seal is; and the Seventh Seal is the Second Coming of Christ; and the Seven Thunders are the Voice of Christ, the Voice of the Mighty Angel that descends from Heaven. And that Mighty Angel…

(Let’s ask Benjie to help me over here. He brings the briefcase over here).

Those Seven Thunders contain the revelation of the Seventh Seal; and the Seven Thunders are the Voice of Christ speaking to His Church.

And now see how it tells us that Christ coming to His Church will close the eyes of the theologians. This was on page 151 that I read to you, verse 1345:

“And the glory of God was in there, till the pe-…they couldn’t even see how to minister. Amen. It’ll close the eyes of every theologian, when He comes for His Bride.”

And now let’s see how He will come for His Bride. It is very important to know how His Coming for His Bride and to His Bride is promised. On page 57 of the book of The Seals, Reverend William Branham says speaking of the Mighty Angel that descends from Heaven⁸:

“‘…I saw another mighty angel come down from heaven, clothed with a cloud: and a rainbow…upon his head,…’ 

If you notice, that’s Christ, see. Cause, He, in the Old Testament, was called the Angel of the Covenant. And He is directly coming to the Jews now, for the Church is finished.”

The Angel of Revelation, chapter 10, the Mighty Angel, comes to the Jews. It is the Angel of the Covenant, the Angel of the Lord that delivered the Hebrew people, and then He came, later on, in human flesh in the veil of flesh called Jesus. And now, in Revelation 10, this Angel of the Covenant descends from Heaven.

“…and his face… as it were the sun, and his feet as pillars of fire:’ You remember that Angel in Revelation 1? Same thing. Angel is a ‘messenger.’ And He’s the Messenger to Israel (He comes as the Messenger to Israel, He is the Messenger to Israel). See? The Church has been raptured, see, now, or fixing to be raptured. He comes for His Church.”

The Messenger to Israel comes for His Church; the Angel of the Covenant, the Angel of the Lord, comes for His Church, in Revelation, chapter 10.

And He is the same that came two thousand years ago veiled in human flesh in a veil of flesh called Jesus, the same Angel of the Covenant, the Angel of the Lord; and now, for the Last Day, He will return. He is the Word, who was with God and was God.

And now, this Angel of the Covenant comes in the Last Day and (let’s see) He is also the white horse Rider of Revelation 19.

Let’s see, on page 134… Remember that the Angel of the Covenant, the Angel of the Lord, is Christ in His theophanic body, it is Christ in Spirit⁹:

“302. Notice! And when this Holy Spirit that we have becomes incarnate to us, the One that’s in our midst now in the form of the Holy Ghost, becomes incarnate to us, in the Person of Jesus Christ, we’ll crown Him King of kings.”

And then on page 277, the Reverend William Branham praying says, from the book of The Seals¹⁰:

“391. …may the Holy Spirit come down now, the white-horse Rider (Who is the white horse Rider of Revelation 19? The Holy Spirit, the Angel of the Covenant, the Angel of the Lord), while His Spirit, Spirit of Christ, in the face of antichrist, and call His Own.”

And now let’s see how it is He will come. On page 146 of the book of The Seals, in the last paragraph (reading part of the last paragraph), it says¹¹:

“402. And at the same time that this devil falls out of Heaven and becomes incarnate in a man, the Holy Spirit goes up and comes down in carnate men.”

And for the Last Day, He will be manifested on Earth: on the one hand, the Holy Spirit, Jesus Christ, the Angel of the Covenant, the Angel of the Lord, will be manifested in human flesh in a man of this end time; and on the other hand, the devil (who is cast out of Heaven and falls to Earth) will be incarnated in the antichrist, in the man of sin, and will be manifested through the antichrist, the man of sin, the beast.

And there we will have, in the end time, the manifestation in human flesh of the devil on the one hand, in the antichrist, in the man of sin; and on the other hand we will have Christ, the Angel of the Covenant, the Holy Spirit, in human flesh in a man of this end time. The Angel of the Covenant coming in human flesh, according to divine promise.

And now we go to page 256 of the book of The Seals, where it says (in the middle, that is, the third paragraph says)¹²:

“But when our Lord appears here on earth, He’ll be riding on a snow-white horse. And He’ll be completely, fully, the Emmanuel, the Word of God incarnate in a Man.”

If we find that man, we will find the instrument where the Holy Spirit will be, the Angel of the Covenant, the Angel of the Lord, the Messenger to Israel manifested, speaking to His Church, speaking to His children and opening their spiritual eyes so that they can see all the Divine Program relevant to this end time; and he will be opening the Scriptures to us and the understanding, the spiritual eyes, to understand all the Divine Program relevant to this end time.

And we will be able to see Jesus Christ Himself, the Angel of the Covenant, Jesus Christ in Holy Spirit, who has been veiled and revealed through each angel messenger during the seven stages or ages of the gentile Church; because He always needs a man.

Christ in Holy Spirit needs a man here on Earth, through whom to veil and reveal Himself to His Church, and speak to His Church from age to age. And that is the revelation of Jesus Christ for His Church in each age; that revelation, which comes through the messenger in each age; because every revelation has to come to the messenger for each age, every revelation comes to and through a prophet.

And now we can see how the revelation of Christ came, how Christ revealed Himself in the midst of His Church, in every age: it was through human flesh in the messenger of each age, in the portion for each age.

And for the Last Day, how will Christ be revealed in the midst of His Church, making known to us all things pertaining to this end time and identifying Himself in His manifestation or revelation relevant to this end time? It says in Revelation, chapter 22, verse 16:

“I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches.”

And what things will he be testifying about? Of all these things that must soon come to pass, which Christ promised to make known to His Church in Revelation, chapter 4, when He said: “Come up hither, and I will show thee things which must be hereafter.” Christ with that Voice of Trumpet said those words.

And now, in Revelation, chapter 22, verse 6, it says:

“And he said unto me, These sayings are faithful and true: and the Lord God of the holy prophets…”

The spirits of the prophets are whose? God’s. They are theophanic spirits of the sixth dimension, sent to Earth in a body of flesh to have the ministry pertaining to that time.

“…God of the holy prophets sent his angel to shew (manifest) unto his servants the things which must shortly be done.”

Who is the Sent One of Jesus Christ? His Angel Messenger, to (through His Angel Messenger, Christ manifested in His Angel Messenger, veiled and revealed in and through His Angel Messenger) speak to His Church all these things that must happen soon.

Therefore, just as the revelation of Jesus Christ to His Church in every age was through the messenger of each age, the revelation of Jesus Christ to His Church and in the midst of His Church will be through His Angel Messenger in the Last Day; the revelation of the Seventh Seal, the promised revelation of Jesus Christ for the Last Day.

That is why John the apostle wanted to worship the Angel of Jesus Christ, and the Angel told him not to do so¹³. It is through that Angel —which is a dispensational prophet, the prophet of the Dispensation of the Kingdom— that Jesus Christ, the Angel of the Covenant, Christ in Holy Spirit, will be veiled in His Angel and revealed through His Angel; and that will be the revelation of Christ in His Church in the Last Day.

And that will be the Seventh Seal, the revelation of the Seventh Seal, the revelation of the Angel who was different from the rest, who appeared in that cloud formed by angels on February 28, 1963, where the seven angel messengers of the seven ages of the gentile Church were and an Angel who was different from the rest, which is the Angel of the Covenant, the Angel of the Lord, which for the Last Day will be manifested on Earth in His Angel Messenger; He will be veiled and revealed in His Angel Messenger, in the revelation of the Last Day in the midst of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ.

That is the Angel that descends from Heaven, the Angel that was different from the rest; and He veils Himself in human flesh in His Angel Messenger, and reveals Himself through His Angel Messenger, and opens our spiritual eyes to see all the Divine Program relevant to this end time; and thus He opens to us all the biblical prophecies that speak of this end time, and thus He makes known to us the fulfillment of each one of them as they are being fulfilled; and He gives us the revelation, the faith to be changed and raptured, which is faith, the revelation of the Second Coming of Christ as the Lion of the tribe of Judah, as King of kings and Lord of lords in His Reclaiming Work.

Faith, the revelation of the rapture is the revelation of the Seventh Seal, the revelation of Jesus Christ coming in the Last Day, the Angel of the Covenant, Christ in Holy Spirit coming and veiling Himself in His Angel Messenger and revealing Himself through His Angel Messenger.

And when the Work of Christ through His Angel Messenger is completed, the number of God’s elect will be completed; and Christ will come out from the Throne of Intercession in Heaven, and will make His claim to all that which He has redeemed with His precious Blood, and will resurrect the dead in Christ and transform us.

He will adopt His Angel Messenger in the Last Day; and then, therefore, all those who have received the miracle of their eyes being opened —their spiritual eyes— will be adopted to see all the Divine Program relevant to this end time.

“JESUS GIVES SIGHT TO THE ONE WHO WAS BLIND.”

And we have the prophecies of the Second Coming of Christ, the Coming of the Son of Man with His Angels for this end time, and that is the prophecy that everyone has wanted to see; but for that, it is required that Jesus Christ opens our spiritual eyes: to see.

And that is what Christ, the Angel of the Covenant, the Angel of the Lord, Jesus Christ in Holy Spirit does through His manifestation through His Angel Messenger in the Last Day, opening the Scriptures to us and opening our understanding, the spiritual eyes, to see the promise of the Coming of the Son of Man with His Angels for this end time, and the rest of the prophecies for this end time; and to see them in the simple way in which Christ will be fulfilling them in this end time, which will be the Coming of the Word, the Word, incarnated in a man.

Many people will see the man, which is the Angel of Jesus Christ, and they will stumble with him, they will be stumbling over the veil of flesh; and therefore they will be being blinded by the veil of flesh. But others will see Christ, the Holy Spirit manifested through His Angel Messenger, and their spiritual eyes will be opened, because they will be seeing who will be behind or within the veil of flesh; and they will see that it is Jesus Christ in Holy Spirit, the Angel of the Covenant, speaking to His Church all these things that must shortly come to pass, and thus opening our understanding and opening the Scriptures to understand all these mysteries pertaining to this end time.

“JESUS GIVES SIGHT TO THE ONE WHO WAS BLIND.”

And now we can say: “One thing we do know: that before we were blind, we did not see; before we were blind, but now we see.” We see all these prophecies for this end time, and we see the meaning of them, because Christ has opened our spiritual eyes, as He opened the physical eyes of that young man who was blind since birth.

“JESUS GIVES SIGHT TO THE ONE WHO WAS BLIND.”

Jesus has made us see in this end time; for which we thank Him for opening our spiritual eyes, and seeing Him in this end time veiled and revealed in the midst of His Church, testifying to us through His Angel Messenger of all these things that must happen soon, and thus opening the Scriptures and our spiritual eyes.

It has been a great privilege to be with you on this occasion, testifying to you of Jesus. JESUS, WHO MAKES THE ONE WHO WAS BLIND, SEE.

May God continue to bless you all greatly and may He continue to open the Scriptures to us, because He has opened our spiritual eyes to see all the Scriptures relevant to the end time. If He opens the Scriptures to us, we will see, because He has opened our spiritual eyes.

Thank you very much for your kind attention, and may you continue to spend an afternoon filled with the blessings of Jesus Christ our Savior, or a day (it’s not 12:00 yet, is it?).
