Opening the Understanding With the Scriptures

Good evening, kind friends and brethren present, radio listeners, and television viewers. It is a great privilege to be with you here in Asunción, Paraguay, to share some moments of fellowship around the Divine Program; and to clearly see how to understand the Scriptures, and thus, understand the Divine Program pertaining to our time.

It says in Saint Luke chapter 24, verses 36 to 51 (this was when Jesus Christ had already risen); it says:

“And as they thus spake,” (they were speaking about the resurrection of Christ), “Jesus himself stood in the midst of them, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you.

But they were terrified and affrighted, and supposed that they had seen a spirit.

And he said unto them, Why are ye troubled? and why do thoughts arise in your hearts?

Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have.

And when he had thus spoken, he shewed them his hands and his feet.

And while they yet believed not for joy, and wondered, he said unto them, Have ye here any meat?

And they gave him a piece of a broiled fish, and of an honeycomb.

And he took it, and did eat before them.

And he said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me.

Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures,

And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behooved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day:

And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.

And ye are witnesses of these things.

And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high.”

May God bless our hearts and allow us to understand His Word.

Christ, on this occasion, just as he did with those who came from Emmaus:¹ He opened the Scriptures to them; and by opening the Scriptures, He opened their understanding so that they could understand these Scriptures that were being fulfilled at that time.

It is very important to have the Scriptures opened; and this doesn’t mean to open the Bible, but to have the Divine Revelation of the meaning of the Scriptures relevant to the time in which one lives; and this only comes through the Divine Revelation given by the Spirit of God to the angel-messenger of the age in which the person is living.

And the angel-messenger, anointed by the Spirit of God, speaks this revelation, in other words, he preaches the Message that God gives him, and through the Divine Revelation he brings all those Scriptures opened to the people; and people’s understanding is opened as they hear those Scriptures being opened by the messenger of their time.

The teaching of the Word of God, of the Divine Commandment, is Light that enlightens people’s souls.

“Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.”

Psalm 119, verse 105. That is what the Psalmist said speaking about Word of God.

And Saint Peter the Apostle, also speaking about the Word of God, the Word of prophecy, tells us in Second Peter chapter 1, verse 19 and on, he says:

“We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:

Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.

For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.”

Now we can see how the Word of prophecy, the Scriptures, came; and we can see that the Scriptures are like a light that shines in a dark place, until the day dawns, and we can see all those Scriptures and their meaning.

Now, when will the day dawn and will we be able to see all those Scriptures as they are? When it speaks of the day dawning, it is referring to a new day that must begin with the light of the sun rising.

And Christ is the Light of the world;² and Christ, being the Light of the world, is represented in the sun.

And that is why on Mount Transfiguration, when Christ showed—in that vision—the Coming of the Son of man with His Angels in His Kingdom: He was transfigured before His Apostles Peter, James, and John, and His face shone as the sun;³ because the sun represents Christ as King of kings and Lord of lords; because the sun is the king of the stars, and Jesus Christ is the King of kings and Lord of lords.

And Jesus Christ, the King of kings and Lord of lords, on a new dispensational Day, on the new Day of the Dispensation of the Kingdom, rises in His Coming among His Church; and He comes shining as the Sun and enlightening the understanding of all the elect of God, with the Scriptures being opened by the Light of God, which is Christ manifested as the Sun of Righteousness shining and enlightening all these Scriptures pertaining to the Last Day, so that we can understand them, we can see them as they are. And that is how He opens the Scriptures to us and thus, He opens our understanding too, so that we understand all those Scriptures.

And that is how, at the Last Day, we will obtain the knowledge of the glory of the Lord (meaning, of the Second Coming of Christ), as the waters cover the sea.⁴ And then, all of humanity, during the Millennial Kingdom, will also obtain that knowledge.

The Hebrew people will also obtain the knowledge of the Second Coming of Christ, which is the manifestation of the glory of the Lord in His spiritual Temple, meaning, in His Church, in the Holy of Holies of His Church, that is, the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ; for He comes to His Church shining as the sun and opening our understanding with the Scriptures pertaining to the Last Day, in which we are living.

The Scripture tells us that the Word of God is Light. That Light which enlightens us there in our soul, notice, is the Light that all human beings need in order to have a clear and complete understanding of the Divine Program pertaining to the time in which he is given to live.

That is why at this end time, Jesus Christ in Holy Spirit comes manifested through His Angel-Messenger testifying all these things which must shortly come to pass, which are promised in the Scripture; and He comes opening those Scriptures; and He comes opening our understanding with His Word, with those Scriptures that are revealed, opened, at this Last Day.

Notice how Christ spoke to them about the things that were being fulfilled in His Person, and He identified them with the promises of the First Coming of Christ.

And even the death of Christ was identified by Jesus Christ in the Scripture; and He told them the Scriptures had to be fulfilled.⁵ And that is why He had to die and rise on the third day: “For You will not suffer Your Holy One to see corruption,”⁶ He will not let the body of Jesus see corruption; that is why Jesus Christ had to rise before the seventy-two hours passed. That is how it was in the prophecy, and that is how it was fulfilled.

And now, notice how Jesus Christ’s entire life was the daily life of the fulfillment of the Scriptures pertaining to the First Coming of Christ as Lamb of God.

Even when He was born in Bethlehem of Judea, the Scripture was being fulfilled that the Messiah, the One who would rule over Israel, had to come from Bethlehem of Judea.⁷

And even when Joseph took him to Egypt (because King Herod would seek Him, to kill Him, there in Bethlehem),⁸ even when He was taken to Egypt, the Scripture was also fulfilled, because it said: “I called My son out of Egypt;”⁹ which had been fulfilled in Jacob. And since Jacob is God’s firstborn nation, that Scripture is fulfilled in every firstborn; and it was also fulfilled in Jesus; as it was fulfilled in the Hebrew people when God delivered the Hebrew people through the Prophet Moses.

And when Christ has called His children in each age, He has called them out of the world, and the world is represented in Egypt; in other words, that Scripture: “I called My son out of Egypt,” is fulfilled. Every firstborn is called out of Egypt, out of the spiritual Egypt, to be put in the mystical Body of Jesus Christ.

And when we are raptured and taken to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb, well, God will call us out of this world, out of this earthly Egypt, and take us to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb.

Now, notice how a single Scripture can be fulfilled once, twice, and even three times. Every Scripture regarding the Firstborn is later fulfilled in the firstborn people, which are God’s elect; and it is also fulfilled in the Hebrew people as the firstborn nation of God.

Now, notice how all these Scriptures that must be fulfilled have to be opened to the people of God in order to be understood; and the only One who can open these Scriptures is the One who opened them to His disciples two thousand years ago, this is: our beloved Lord Jesus Christ.

And that is why at the Last Day, He comes with His face shining as the sun; in other words, He comes as King of kings and Lord of Lords. Jesus Christ in Holy Spirit comes at the Last Day, manifested through His Angel-Messenger, testifying to us these things which must shortly come to pass; He comes testifying to us everything that will happen at this Last Day after the seven stages or ages of the Gentile Church.

Now, we have seen who is the One that opens the Scriptures and opens our understanding, making known to us the open Scriptures at this end time.

“Come up hither, and I will show thee things which must be hereafter.”¹⁰ He does it by opening the Scriptures to us that speak about the things pertaining to the Last Day; because they are all in the Word of prophecy, from Genesis to Revelation.

And thus, notice, Christ in Holy Spirit coming, who is the One that would teach us all things, as Jesus said in Saint John chapter 14, verse 26, where it says the following, it says:

“But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.”

Who is the One that will teach all things? From age to age it has been the Holy Spirit. The same Spirit of God that was in Jesus, we find has come from age to age, manifested in the angel-messenger of each age. And that is Jesus Christ in Holy Spirit manifested in each angel-messenger in the portion relevant to each age.

And at the Last Day, Jesus Christ in Holy Spirit comes manifested in His Angel-Messenger, and opening to us the Scriptures pertaining to the Last Day, and making known to us the mystery contained in those prophetic Scriptures pertaining to this end time. And by opening the Scriptures to His people, to His elect, to His Church in the Age of the Cornerstone and Dispensation of the Kingdom, He opens our understanding so that we may understand them.

That is why it is very important that, in order to understand the Scriptures pertaining to the Last Day, people are hearing and also reading God’s Message pertaining to this end time, which is the Message of the Last Trumpet or Great Voice of Trumpet, in other words, the Message of the Gospel of the Kingdom; because in It, the Scriptures are being opened so that they are understood by all of God’s elect; and so that—with those Scriptures being opened—Christ may open our understanding in order to understand God’s Word of prophecy pertaining to this Last Day, and thus, to see the prophecies of the Last Day fulfilled among His Church.

There are prophecies that have already been fulfilled, there are others that are in the process of being fulfilled, and there are others that will be fulfilled later on.

We are currently hearing the Voice of Christ in the Age of the Cornerstone, represented in the Last Trumpet or Great Voice of Trumpet, which is the Message of the Trumpet of the Gospel of the Kingdom, proclaiming the Message of the Last Day, the Message of the Gospel of the Kingdom, and revealing the mystery of the Second Coming of Christ; the Coming of Christ as the Sun of Righteousness shining and enlightening our understanding, opening our understanding with His Word at this Last Day.

Christ in Holy Spirit opens our understanding with His Word by opening those Scriptures pertaining to the Last Day.

Let’s see some examples: How many of you were aware of or knew what the Last Days were? How many of you knew what the Last Day was? You didn’t know before; but now we all know that the Last Days are: the fifth millennium, sixth millennium, and seventh millennium.

God said through Saint Peter the Apostle and also through the Prophet Moses that one day before the Lord is as a thousand years and a thousand years as one day. Second Peter chapter 3, verse 8, and Psalm 90, verse 4.

Now notice, before, we didn’t know that the Last Days were the fifth, sixth, and seventh millenniums; because when the Scripture speaks to us about one day for God or before God, to human beings that is a millennium, in other words, a thousand years.

And now, we can understand the words of Saint Peter the Apostle in the Book of Acts, chapter 2, verse 14 and on, when he said—on the day of Pentecost, when He said what was happening there:

“But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said unto them, Ye men of Judaea, and all ye that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and hearken to my words:

For these are not drunken, as ye suppose, seeing it is but the third hour of the day,” (meaning, 8 to 9 in the morning).

“But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel;

And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh.”

When does God say that He will pour out of His Spirit upon all flesh? In the Last Days; and two thousand years have already passed since the day of Pentecost. And God began to pour out of His Holy Spirit upon one hundred and twenty people back on the day of Pentecost, and He has continued to pour out of His Holy Spirit upon the believers in Christ who have washed away their sins in the Blood of Jesus Christ.

“…And your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:

And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy.”

Now we have seen what the outpouring of the Spirit of God in the Last Days is; in other words, it is in the Last Days before God, which to human beings pertains to the last millenniums.

And now, notice how God began to pour out of the Holy Spirit in the Last Days back on the day of Pentecost, and we are still in the Last Days.

Saint Paul the Apostle also speaks to us about the Last Days, in Hebrews chapter 1, verse 1 to 2. And he tells us:

“God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,

Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds.”

When does he say that God has spoken through His Son? In the Last Days, and two thousand years have already passed.

Now, how can it be possible that Saint Paul says that God spoke in the Last Days though Jesus, though the Son of God, and two thousand years have already passed? It’s because the Last Days are: the fifth millennium, sixth millennium, and seventh millennium; and when Jesus was four to seven years old, the fifth millennium began, and therefore, the Last Days before God began, which are the last millenniums to the human race.

Now, see how the Scripture has no contradiction? All that is needed is for Jesus Christ in Holy Spirit to open those Scriptures, and thus open our understanding so that we can understand the meaning of those Scriptures.

And notice how the Last Day, which Christ speaks of in Saint John chapter 6, verses 39 to 40, when He said:

“And this is the Father’s will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.”

When does Jesus Christ say that the Father has commanded Him to raise those who the Father has given Him? He says that it will be at which Day? At the Last Day.

“And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.”

When does Christ say that He will raise all the people who have believed in Him and washed away their sins in His Blood, and received His Spirit, and received the new birth? He says their resurrection will be at the Last Day, in other words, in the seventh millennium; because that is the Lord’s Day.

That is the Last Day, for which there are great Divine Promises: the resurrection of the dead in Christ and the transformation of us who are alive; and the call of God’s elect with the Great Voice of Trumpet, meaning, with the Great Voice of Trumpet of the Message of the Gospel of the Kingdom being preached.

Notice the mystery of the Gospel of the Kingdom, notice the mystery of the Last Trumpet and the Great Voice of Trumpet: The Last Trumpet or Great Voice of Trumpet is the Voice of Christ giving us His Last Message, giving us the Message of the Gospel of the Kingdom through His Angel-Messenger, through the Angel-Messenger of the Dispensation of the Kingdom at the Last Day, in the seventh millennium.

Now we can see, we can understand these promises, these Scriptures, why? Because Jesus Christ in Holy Spirit has been opening these Scriptures; and with the opening of these Scriptures, He has been opening our understanding so that we can understand them, and so that we can understand the Divine Program pertaining to our time.

We are living in the greatest and most glorious time of all times. We are living at the time in which Jesus Christ in Holy Spirit by His manifestation through His Angel-Messenger, is opening our understanding at this Last Day. How? By opening the Scriptures to us.

And in order for people’s understanding to be opened, well, they take the Message in which the Scriptures are opened, they take the Message of the Gospel of the Kingdom, the Message of Jesus Christ through His Angel-Messenger; and there, they obtain the knowledge of all these Scriptures that speak of the things that God would be doing at this end time; and thus, all of us have our understanding opened.

Jesus Christ in Holy Spirit through His Angel-Messenger would be opening the Scriptures at the Last Day, testifying to us all these things which must shortly come to pass, which are in the Scriptures, which are here in the Bible, in the Word of prophecy. And now, at the end time, with the opening of all these Scriptures, our understanding is opened.

Now, how many of you understand what the Last Days are? Now everyone does. Why? Because the Scriptures are being opened, and the Scriptures that speak of the Last Day have been opened; and that is why our understanding is opened. And now we know that the Last Days are the fifth, sixth, and seventh millennium.

And which is the Last Day? The seventh millennium; and if we add to the calendar the years it is behind, then we are already, where? In the seventh millennium, the Lord’s Day, the Last Day.

And now, notice all the things God has promised to carry out, to fulfill, at the Last Day. And all those things He has promised, which are in the Word of prophecy, are being opened by Jesus Christ in Holy Spirit to His Angel-Messenger; and through His Angel-Messenger, they are opened to the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ in the Age of the Cornerstone.

That is why Christ says: “Come up hither,” (where? To the Age of the Cornerstone), “and I will show you things which must be hereafter;” in other words, after these things that have happened in the seven ages.

Now: “Come up hither,” (to the Age of the Cornerstone), “and I will show you things which must happen.” Where? Well, in the Age of the Cornerstone, and at the Last Day, in the seventh millennium.

And in the territory where the Age of the Cornerstone is fulfilled, many important things will happen, and those things are also made known to all of God’s elect.

In the Latin American and Caribbean territory is where the Great Voice of Trumpet or Last Trumpet sounds and calls and gathers all the Latin American and Caribbean elect whose names are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life; and they are put in the Age of the Cornerstone, in the mystical Body of Christ, to become part of the Holy of Holies of that spiritual Temple; and that is where we can see everything being opened, all the Scriptures being opened, and thus, our understanding being opened in order to understand all these Scriptures that are being opened at this Last Day.

Notice, a great mystery: the mystery of the Coming of the white-horse Rider of Revelation chapter 19. That is the Coming of Christ.

Now, the mystery of the Coming of Christ is the greatest mystery of the whole Bible, it is the mystery that caused silence in Heaven for about half an hour.

In 1963 (February 28, 1963) there was a great sign in heaven:¹¹ there was a cloud formed by eight angels, and among those eight angels was an Angel who was very different from the rest. The other seven angels were the seven angels of the seven stages or ages of the Gentile Church; and another Angel, who was different from the rest, was a strange Angel, and brighter than the rest.

And let’s see what the forerunner of the Second Coming of Christ says about this Angel. He says: “Did you notice…” Page 546, says: [Book The Revelation Of The Seven Seals]

“275 And did you notice? ‘That one Angel,’ I said, ‘in there, was a strange Angel.’ He looked more to me than any of the rest of Them. You remember that? [Congregation says, ‘Amen.’—Ed.] They were in a constellation; three on a side, and one on top. And the one right next to me here, counting from the left to the right, would have been the seventh Angel. He was brighter, meant more to me than the rest of Them. You remember? I said, ‘He had His chest out, like that, and was flying eastward’ (you remember) ‘like that.’ I said, ‘It picked me up; lifted me up.’”

Who was the One that picked up the forerunner of the Second Coming of Christ and put him in that constellation of angels? The Angel who was different from the rest.

“[275]You remember that? [‘Amen.’] 

276 Here It is, the one with the Seventh Seal…”

The Seventh Seal is the Second Coming of Christ. That is the Angel with the Seventh Seal, in other words, with the Second Coming of Christ. And with the manifestation of that Angel on Earth, at the Last Day, the Seventh Seal, meaning, the Second Coming of Christ, is opened on Earth.

It goes on to say:

“[276] …The thing that I’ve wondered all my life. Amen! Them other Seals meant a lot to me, of course, but, oh, you don’t know what This has meant.”

Why? Because the Seventh [Seal] is the Second Coming of Christ. And the Angel who was very different from the rest has the Second Coming of Christ. And with the manifestation of that Angel at the Last Day, in human flesh, the fulfillment of the Seventh Seal takes place.

And in order to know that mystery: the Seven Voices of the Seven Thunders are needed, which is the Voice of Christ as the Lion, crying as when a lion roars (in Revelation chapter 10) and Seven Thunders uttering their Voices; in other words, we need to hear the Voice of Christ at the Last Day speaking to us, giving us His Last Message, the Message of the Gospel of the Kingdom; and with that Message, revealing to us the mystery of the Seventh Seal, revealing to us the mystery of the Second Coming of Christ, revealing to us the mystery of the Coming of that Angel who was very different from the rest, being manifested on Earth in human flesh at the Last Day.

Now notice that this is the Angel who has the Seventh Seal.

In the Book The Revelation Of The Seven Seals, page 318, the forerunner of the Second Coming of Christ, Rev. William Braham, said while he was praying:

“[391] …May the Holy Spirit come down now, the white-horse Rider,” (who is the true white-horse Rider of Revelation chapter 19? It is the Holy Spirit), “while His Spirit, Spirit of Christ, in the face of antichrist, and call His Own.”

It is the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Jesus Christ, coming: that is the white-horse Rider of Revelation 19.

Now, how will the Holy Spirit come at the Last Day? How will Christ in Holy Spirit come at the Last Day? Let’s see how He will come. Page 295 of the Book The Revelation Of The Seven Seals, says:

“196 But when our Lord appears here on earth, He’ll be riding on a snow-white horse. And He’ll be completely, fully, the Emmanuel, the Word of God incarnate in a Man.”

The Word of God incarnate in a Man, the Word coming in human flesh, according to Revelation chapter 19. It is the Word coming at the Last Day, the Holy Spirit coming in human flesh at the Last Day in His Angel-Messenger, and revealing to us all these things which must shortly come to pass; that is the Coming of the white-horse Rider of Revelation chapter 19; that is the Coming of the Angel who was very different from the rest. It is the Coming of Jesus Christ in Holy Spirit manifested in His Angel-Messenger, opening the Scriptures to us and opening our understanding with the Scriptures that He opens at this Last Day.

It has been a great privilege to be with you on this occasion, testifying to you the way that Jesus Christ in Holy Spirit would be opening the Scriptures to us, and therefore, opening our understanding with the Scriptures at this Last Day.

We have seen that it’s through the manifestation of Jesus Christ in Holy Spirit by His Angel-Messenger, speaking to us the Message of the Gospel of the Kingdom, where all the Scriptures pertaining to the end time are opened, so that they are understood by all of God’s elect of the Last Day.

And where are the ones who would obtain the benefit of the Scriptures being opened and whose understanding would be opened at this Last Day? Here we are, in Latin America and the Caribbean, with our understanding being opened, with the Scriptures that are being opened at this Last Day by Jesus Christ in Holy Spirit through His Angel-Messenger.

May the blessings of Jesus Christ, the Angel of the Covenant, our beloved Savior, be upon each one of you and also upon me. And soon may all of God’s elect who are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life, and have not come to Christ yet, be called and gathered, and may the number of God’s elect be completed. And soon may we be changed, after the dead in Christ are raised in eternal bodies; and after being here on Earth for thirty to forty days, then, may we go to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb, as Christ has promised for each one of you and also for me. In the eternal Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen and amen.

And may Jesus Christ continue to open our understanding with the Scriptures that He is opening at this Last Day, by His manifestation through His Angel-Messenger.
