SANCTIFY
YOURSELVES:
FOR TOMORROW
THE LORD WILL DO
WONDERS AMONG YOU

Good afternoon, dear friends and brethren present and those through Amazonas Satellite or through Internet in different nations, it’s a blessing and great privilege to be with you on this occasion, to share with you a time of fellowship around God’s Program corresponding to the Dispensation of Grace, corresponding to the preaching of the gospel of Christ, which is still being preached on this planet Earth. In Joshua, chapter 3, verse 1 onwards, says:
“And Joshua rose early in the morning; and they removed from Shittim, and came to Jordan, he and all the children of Israel, and lodged there before they passed over.
And it came to pass after three days, that the officers went through the host; And they commanded the people, saying,
When ye see the ark of the covenant of the LORD your God, and the priests the Levites bearing it, then ye shall remove from your place, and go after it.
Yet there shall be a space between you and it, about two thousand cubits by measure: come not near unto it, that ye may know the way by which ye must go: for ye have not passed this way heretofore.
And Joshua said unto the people, Sanctify yourselves: for to morrow the LORD will do wonders among you. And Joshua spake unto the priests, saying,
Take up the ark of the covenant, and pass over before the people. And they took up the ark of the covenant, and went before the people. And the LORD said unto Joshua,
This day will I begin to magnify thee in the sight of all Israel, that they may know that, as I was with Moses, so I will be with thee.”
God bless our souls with His Word and allow us to understand It.
“SANCTIFY YOURSELVES: FOR TOMORROW THE LORD WILL DO WONDERS AMONG YOU.”
With the sanctification, that which is sanctified, is placed aside in order to be used in the service of God. And now, Jesus once said: “Father, sanctify them through thy truth, Thy Word is truth.” And in Hebrews … that’s in chapter 17 of John, and Hebrews, Chapter 9, the Apostle Paul says, verse 11 onwards:
“But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building; Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.
For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh:
How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?”
And now, the Blood of Christ, you will notice, sanctifies the human being, cleanses your conscience from dead works to serve the living God. Therefore, what it says: “How much more the Blood of Christ?”
“… if the blood of bulls and of goats and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh, how much more shall the blood of Christ?”
And now, be sanctified; we are sanctified through the Blood of Christ, being set aside to serve Christ in all His divine Program, in all the Work of God, of Christ in the time that pertains for us to live.
For the end time in which we live, God has promised to pour out great blessings upon His Church, upon all believers in Him, in Christ, and all this will be according to what He has promised for our time, and those promises will have their fulfillment in the Last Day, they will be fulfilled, therefore, His promises for the Last Day will be fulfilled in and for the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ.
We expect great blessings of God and we remain covered with the Blood of Christ which is greater than the blood of kid goats, bulls, kid goats, and the ashes of an heifer that is sprinkled on the unclean.
If that blood sanctified a person, much more shall the Blood of Christ. That was just the type and figure, all that represented Christ, and Christ already made it a reality with His death on Calvary’s Cross, therefore, He is the One who justifies whoever receives Him by faith as Savior, and He is who sanctifies with His Blood cleansing the person of all sin, and baptizes him with the Holy Spirit and Fire and then uses him greatly in His Work in the time in which the person lives.
God has been doing wonders in the midst of His Church, and for the Last Day the promised is that God will do wonders. God through the Holy Spirit, is the One who will be doing wonders in the midst of His Church, just as He carried them out by Moses and by Joshua, and in each time He used different instruments in the program relevant for each time.
Joshua, when he was about to cross the Jordan and enter into the Promised Land and to reach the City of Jericho, the Jordan being opened; was a wonder, as it was a wonder when God parted the Red Sea to bring the Hebrew people over with Moses.
Thus it was also when He opened the Jordan, the people that followed Joshua and the ark of the covenant entered the promised land. And in our time we are found in a stage parallel to the time of Joshua so to enter the promised land of the eternal, immortal, incorruptible and glorified body, and to physically enter the promised land of God’s Kingdom with glorified bodies, and then to go, consequently, to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb in the rapture or catching away of the Church.
All these are promises for believers in Christ, which will be fulfilled in this end time, in the Last Day, for Christ says He will raise up the dead believers in Him at the Last Day, John, chapter 6, verses 39 to 40, and John, chapter 11, verses 21 to 27, then He says, “I will raise him up on the Last Day,” are words of Jesus Christ.
And now, aware of the time we live in, to cross over the Jordan where all the blessings of Christ are, that is a type and figure of what will be happening at this time in the midst of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ. Joshua means Savior and therefore Joshua represents, the Savior Jesus Christ, who is in the midst of His Church from the Day of Pentecost in Holy Spirit.
Therefore, our Joshua is the Holy Spirit which since the Day of Pentecost is in the midst of His Church, remember Christ saying: “Behold I am with you always, even unto the end of the world.” Matthew, Chapter 28, verse 20. He is our Joshua who will take us across the Jordan, in other words, to the other side of death; He will cross us over, we which remain live, by transforming us without seeing death, and those who have died He will rise them up in eternal bodies and will go with Christ to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb, the heavenly Father’s House.
And we’re also living in a time as in the days of Elijah. The first showdown was on Mount Carmel, the second showdown on Mount Transfiguration, and the third showdown is on Mount Zion, which typifies, Mount Zion, the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, that’s where God’s manifestation will be in all His fullness and we will see great wonders in the midst of Christianity, in the midst of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Great blessings will come to the Church of Jesus Christ in this end time, to the extent that the dead in Christ will be resurrected and the living will be transformed, it is a promise of God through Christ and through the apostles that He sent, it is a divine promise, which will be fulfilled in the Last Day, for Christ said: “I will raise him up on the Last Day.”
Be sanctified, keep your lives consecrated to God, be ready, for God through Christ in Holy Spirit through His Church will do great wonders, and the greatest one will be the resurrection of the dead in Christ in glorified bodies and the transformation of those who are alive at that time.
Therefore, according to the divine promises we expect great blessings, great wonders from God in the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ which is the spiritual Mount Zion spoken of by Paul in Hebrews, chapter 12, verses 22 onwards, where it says:
“But you have come to Mount Zion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels, to the general assembly and church of the firstborn (the Church of the firstborn is the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ and they are the firstborns written in Heaven in the Lamb’s Book of Life. Notice) … To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect (the spirits of the righteous are the angelic bodies of the righteous), and to Jesus the Mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling that speaketh better things than that of Abel.”
Believers in Christ have a mediator, the mediator of the New Covenant, which is the Lord Jesus Christ making intercession in Heaven with His own Blood for everyone who believes in Him, and keeps them clean of all sin with His Blood, which was shown, promised and prophesied by Christ in Matthew, chapter 26, verses 26 onwards at the Last Supper that He had with His disciples, saying:
“And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed it, and brake it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this is my body.
And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it;
For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.”
The bread He took and broke and gave them, after giving thanks unto the Father, typifies the body of Christ that would be crucified on the Cross of Calvary, and it would also be broken by the lashes He received, bruises, and then the Blood of Christ that would be shed on the Cross Calvary for the forgiveness of sins, is typified in the wine. The bread is just the type and figure of the body of Christ and the wine is just the type and figure of the Blood of Christ, that’s why He institutes the Holy Supper in which the bread typifies the body of Christ which we eat.
He said: “He that eats not my flesh and drinks not my Blood has no life abiding in him.” to eat the bread and to drink the wine shows us that we have eaten His flesh: we believe in His Sacrifice on the Cross of Calvary, and by drinking wine, we show, we bear witness that we have believed in His Blood shed on Calvary’s Cross as the Blood that cleanses us from all sin and keeps us clean from all sin.
“He that eats not my flesh and drinks not my blood has no life abiding in him,” We have believed in His crucified body bearing our sins and we have believed in His Blood shed on Calvary’s Cross that cleanses us from all sin, or it has cleansed us and keeps us clean from all sin, because He is in the Holy of Holies, He is in the Divine Throne, in the Throne of Intercession as High Priest making intercession for each person who receives Him as Savior and for every believer who commits an error, fault or sin and confesses them to Christ, and Christ with His Blood washes away all sin, keeps him clean from all sin, which is represented in Feet Washing or Feet Lavatory, where Christ keeps us clean from all sin.
Peter did not want Christ to wash his feet, and He told him, “If I do not wash you, you have no part with me,” Then Peter said: “Then the head as well,” Christ said, “No, it is only necessary to wash the feet, because he that is clean just needs to have his feet washed,” he that is clean by the Blood of Christ has no need to receive again Christ as Savior to be cleansed from all sins, but to confess his sins to Christ which he has committed after being a Christian, after having received Christ as Savior, confess them, and Christ with His Blood will cleanse him and will keep him clean all the days of his earthly trajectory.
That’s why in Feet Washing is typified or is represented what Christ does every time we confess our faults, mistakes and sins, so that we may continue moving forward in the Christian way serving Christ our Savior.
Therefore, in the Holy Supper is represented (because it is typological), it is represented that we have eaten the flesh of Christ, that we have believed in Christ as our Savior, we have believed in His Sacrifice on the Cross of Calvary, by faith we are eating the flesh of Christ, and by faith we are drinking the Blood of Christ, which is represented by drinking the wine, knowing that His Blood has cleansed us from all sin.
If we know these things and do them: if we take the Lord’s Supper and Feet Washing, we are doing it correctly, it is a commandment of the Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, it is important to always take the Holy Supper and Feet Washing, having confessed our faults, mistakes and sins to Christ so that He may with His Blood cleanse us from all sin and thus He may keep us clean of all sin.
Sanctify yourselves for the Jehovah (the Lord) will do wonders tomorrow, in other words, on the Last Day, which is the seventh millennium from Adam to here or third millennium of Christ until now, because one day before the Lord is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
We have seen the reality of all these Scriptures and these divine promises. Every day we expect great blessings from God, until we receive the blessing of transformation, we who are alive at that time, and those who have departed or have physically died to be resurrected to go with Christ to the Wedding Supper of the Lamb in the rapture or catching away, as it is known in the midst of Christianity, according to First Corinthians, chapter 15, verses 49 to 58 and First Thessalonians, chapter 4, verses 11 to 21, and Philippians, chapter 3, verses 20 to 21.
Therefore, stand firm because God will do great wonders among His Church in favor of His Church.
It has been for me a great privilege and blessing to be with you on this occasion, in this short Bible study, today Sunday, a day of Bible school.
