Good afternoon, dear friends and brothers present, and those of you in the different countries connected to this activity through satellite Amazonas or through internet. May the blessings of Christ the Angel of the Covenant be upon you all, and upon me too. In the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
It is a great blessing for me to be with you all in this occasion to share with you moments of fellowship around the Word of God and His Program pertaining to this end time.
We read in Isaiah chapter 55, verse 6:
“Seek ye the Lord while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near.”
And in First of Chronicles chapter 28, verse 9, says king David to Solomon, this was when Solomon was placed upon the throne, when he inherited the throne of David, he tells him:
“And thou, Solomon my son, know thou the God of thy father, and serve him with a perfect heart and with a willing mind: for the Lord searcheth all hearts, and understadeth all imaginations of the thoughts: if thou seek him, he will be found of thee; but if thou forsake him, he will cast thee off for ever.”
“SEEK YE THE LORD WHILE HE MAY BE FOUND.”
Forasmuch as the human being is created in the image and likeness of God, is different to the animals; the animals are not as the human beings, which have a yearning, a spiritual need to seek God. Every human being wishes to seek the Creator of Heavens and Earth, wishes to know Him, and wishes to speak to Him and wants to hear whatever He has to say. And the people ask themselves: “How can I seek God?
The Scripture teaches us the correct way to approach God and to find Him. In the Old Testament was by means of the sacrifices of little animals that were carried out.
We have the case of Adam and Eve, whom God visited each day, but when they sinned they could not approach God, they hid themselves in the woods, for they had sinned and found out they were naked; but gave them skins, therefore, a little lamb had to die, from which the skins were taken from to cover the nakedness of Adam and Eve, so that they could approach God; they were covered with the bloody skins of an animal. And from there onward the human being began to sacrifice animals so that the blood of the animal would cover them, would cover their sins; a little innocent animal would die because of the sins of the person.
We have the case of Abel and Cain. Abel brought a little goat from his sheep herd, and sacrificed it to God, he offered it to God for his sins, and that was pleasant to God. But Cain, who was a farmer, he brought fruits from the field and offered them to God; and it was unpleasant to God.
Because to approach God, to seek God, the person has to do it according to way God has established it. A person cannot say that he will approach God his way, it has to be God’s way. Therefore, it is important to know which is the way established by God so that we can approach God, and seek God.
We already know that in the Old Testament it was by means of sacrifices, in which a little animal died in the person’s stead; and the blood covered his sins, although it could not take them away, because the blood of an animal cannot take away sins, because the life of the animal cannot come upon the sinner; but while the perfect Sacrifice came, those sacrifices typified, represented the perfect Sacrifice that the Prince Messiah would carry out with His own body, by offering it as a perfect Sacrifice for the human being.
We find in one occasion back there in Egypt, that Moses said to the people to take a year old lamb, and to keep it a few days, checking it for four days, that it be without blemish, because if it had blemish God would not accept it.
Some people say: “Since it is for God, it’s the same”; but it is not the same, the best is for God.
Therefore, they had the lamb, which they kept for four days, examining it, and on the fourteenth day they would offer it, they sacrificed it between the two evenings, and would place its blood on the lintel and door posts of the Hebrew homes; and roasted the lamb, it could not be boiled, nor fried in oil, see? It was roasted by fire, because things have to be done as God commands. They could not say: “No, I like lamb boiled, or fried,” but God said: “Roasted. You will eat it roasted during the night.”
And during the night, at midnight, God would pass by and the firstborn of Egypt would die. No matter what their nationality was, if they came from another country and were living there, it did not matter; the firstborns that were living in Egypt, in Egyptian territory would die. But God showed Moses the way for the Hebrew firstborns not to die. Something simple; but it was the thing God said He would see: He would see the blood, therefore, the blood was placed as a token, God would see it and would pass by those homes, and the firstborn of that house would not die.
Each father of the household sacrificed the lamb pertaining to him, and notice, that family was protected, no mourning in that house, no sadness, for they had the blood applied on the lintel and door posts of those homes.
Any Hebrew could say: “No, I will not stain my door with blood” he did not know, then, that they were to leave and would loose the house also. They could have said: “No, I will not leave, I will remain and will keep all the houses for myself,” and with a dead person in the house.
But when God is about to fulfill what He has promised, He has already established the way to perform it, and what we must do to receive those blessings that He has promised; for when God is to do something and does it, there are blessings for those that believe it and do things according the way God has promised, and seek Him according to the way He has established it; and there are judgments and curses for those that want to do things according their way, or do nothing.
Thus it was in Egypt. Pharaoh did not have that revelation, Moses had it, it was given him by God. In the night of Passover there was heard a cry in Egypt, weeping, sadness, beginning in the kings house, in Pharaoh’s house, because Pharaoh’s firstborn had died. And there was death in every house, except in the Hebrew homes; for they did as how God told Moses to do.
See how the divine revelation comes: from God to Moses and from Moses to the people. Pharaoh did not have that revelation.
Then we also find the case of Abel and Cain. Cain acted in his own way and God was not pleased, and he then became angered because God did not receive his offering.
It is that the fruits of the field do not cover or take away sin. The offering for sin is – in the Old Testament – the sacrifice of an innocent lamb; a type and figure for the New Covenant, New Testament, of the Sacrifice of the Lamb of God that would take sin away.
And when the Lamb of God appeared, which was typified in those little animals. John the Baptist said: “Behold the Lamb of God that takes away the sin of the world.” And when the people beheld, they did not see a lamb, they saw a young man named Jesus. Thus it is in Revelation chapter 5, when the elder tells John: “John weep not, behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah.” When John beholds, he sees a lamb. They were both right. The elder sees Him as the Lion of the tribe of Judah because His ministry had changed, His Work of intercession had ended, and now He is as Lion of the tribe of Judah, He changed from Lamb to Lion, and from High Priest to Judge.
Therefore, neither did they see a lamb of a lion, they saw the Lord Jesus Christ. They both saw the same person, one saw Him as Judge, as King, as Lion, and the other one saw Him as Lamb. John knew Him as Lamb but was not aware, did not know that His Work of Intercession had ended after leaving the Throne of Intercession, and after taking the Property Deed which is the Book sealed with seven Seals, the Lamb’s Book of Life where my name is written since before the foundation of the world, and who else’s name is written there? The name of each one of you also. That’s why you are here hearing the preaching of the Gospel of Christ our Savior.
That is the Book that contains the names of all the sheep of the Father; the sheep of the Father are not literal sheep but persons. That’s why Christ said: “My sheep hear my voice and they follow me.” They hear the Voice of Christ which the Gospel of Christ, and the faith of Christ is born in their souls after receiving Him as Savior and are baptized in water in His Name, and Christ baptizes them with Holy Spirit and Fire, and produces in them the new birth, and thus they are born in the Kingdom of the Lord, they are born in the Fold of the Lord which is the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ.
That’s the place where the sheep are born: in the Fold of the Lord. And that Fold has a Shepherd. He said: “My sheep hear my voice and they follow me, and I give unto them eternal Life.” The sheep are the persons which are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life since the foundation of the world; therefore, we are very glad to know that God thought of us since before the foundation of the world, and knew us.
And the body that He thought to give us, He will give it to us in the resurrection for those who have departed, and for those that remain alive: in the transformation; for He will transform us; and then we will have the body He design for us, and we want to see it very soon.
He is the Designer, the Architect and Constructor; therefore, the problem that may arise in this body is only for a short time; when we have the new one there will not be physical or spiritual problems.
We are going through a stage, but when we enter into the stage of adoption, which will be the redemption of the physical body, wherein we will obtain the eternal, incorruptible, immortal and glorified body and young for all eternity, just as the glorified body of Jesus Christ, the problems have had ended. And that’s very near.
Therefore, we wait for that moment with patience, remaining firm in the faith of Christ. With the faith of Christ, and with our faith set in Christ we reach the goal. Always hearing His Voice, His Word, and always seeking after Him with all of our heart.
The king David was always holding on to God…And you want to know something? The more problems the person has, the more he clings to God. And David had many enemies looking for him to kill him in different occasions, and he always clung to God. He knew God from childhood.
And that power and strength that David had when he killed the lions and the bears that came to take away his sheep, when he was a sheep herder, it was that the Spirit of God would come upon him; he was already anointed as king, but continued being a pastor. The best king that existed was a pastor. And the other One that followed, the Son of David, Christ said: “I am the Good Shepherd.” He is the Best, but was represented in king David.
And now, Christ has sheep which are people. David had sheep which were lambs, and then had sheep which were persons: the people.
Now, a king like David who had been a sheep herder, and could also lead people in the Divine Program in the politic field, and also in the economic field of the Kingdom.
It is important to see that the great things emerge in the simple things, in simplicity, and are of blessing for the people. One has to seek God in simplicity and of all great.
King David tells his son Solomon, who was brought up in the Kingdom in a high position, not as David who grew up in the field as a sheep herder, but was the chosen of God; and he was the eight son of Jesse. The sons of Jesse represent the messengers of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ. And we will leave it there.
The reverend William Branham was searching for that. He spoke of that in the message “Why little Bethlehem?” There lays a great mystery there, which we’ll see someday when we are all transformed.
King David was the last son, and was in the field as a sheep herder.
Now David in the experiences he had, after being anointed as king as a young man, was being trained by God in the spiritual field to trust in God and to know that its not with armies nor by strength, but with the Spirit of the Lord. With the Spirit of the Lord he defeated the lion, and also the bear, and delivered the sheep that the bear and the lion had taken away, two little lambs; and perhaps that was repeated a few times, and he always obtained the victory; because God was training him to face a bigger beast: greater than a bear, and greater than a lion, which was Goliath, a man of the Philistines who was three meters tall or more (and that’s awful tall).
The Scripture says that Saul was a tall man, from the shoulders and up he was the tallest man of all the men of Israel; in other words, that all the men of Israel reached his shoulders, he was the tallest man among the Hebrew people. But there was one taller than him among the philistines, and he did not dare to face him.
But God had an smaller man to face the taller one, smaller, but he was the greater, for he had the Spirit of God in him. It was God working through king David. He was a king for God, and was anointed as king; although for the people he was not yet king but God was in him. And with a stone placed in a sling shot, he defeated him. It was God through the young man David, Who performed that work.
Saul became jealous. And why did he not face Goliath? The women began to sing, to say, young ladies, everyone: “Saul killed thousands, and David killed tens of thousands.” And Saul became jealous and says: “And now what is lacking is for him to be given the throne also!” And that’s what God would give him.
So we can see that when the Work belongs to God, the manifestation of God comes through simple messengers in each time; because God worked through people that in the Old Testament had the blood of the sacrifices applied, which sacrifices typify the Sacrifice of Christ; and in the New Covenant: through people that have the Blood of Christ applied in their lives.
And now, how do we seek God? The same way He was sought in the Old Testament. Back there was through the sacrifices, at the present it is through the Sacrifice of Christ, being cleansed with the Blood of the Sacrifice of Christ, which Blood does not cover sin but rather It takes it away. And the person remains as if he had never sinned in life, he is justified before God.
To seek God we should know in what stage of the Divine Program we are living in, in which dispensation. In the Dispensation of Grace one seeks God by means of Jesus Christ and His Sacrifice carried out at Calvary’s Cross, in the Old Testament it was by means of the sacrifice of little animals.
Christ said: “I am the way, the truth and the life, and no man comes to the Father but by me.” St. John chapter 14, verse 6. There is no other way for the human being to approach God in the Dispensation of Grace, for we are no longer in the Dispensation of the Law, therefore, the sacrifices of little animals do not function, what functions is the Sacrifice of Christ: which is what God accepts so the human being can approach God.
Christ said: “No man comes to the Father but by me.” And He also says that He gives His sheep eternal Life: “My sheep hear my voice and they follow me, and I give unto them eternal Life; and they shall never perish. My Father which gave them me is greater than all, and no man is able to pluck them our of my Father’s hand. My Father and I are one.” St. John chapter 10, verses 27, to 30.
He is the Way, therefore, a new Way has been opened to approach God by means of Christ our Savior. It is through that we seek God, we find God. He speaks to us, and we also speak to Him when we pray to God, and so forth, and we serve Him, and we praise Him and worship Him; with songs, hymns, psalms, praises to God; and that way the human being can seek God while He can be found.
When the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ is completed and the door to the Dispensation of Grace is closed, people cannot seek God, because Christ would have ended His Work of Intercession in Heaven and the people will have to face the divine judgment of the great tribulation. But those that were looking for God and found Him by means of Christ, Who was manifested in Christ in all His fullness carrying out the Work of Redemption.
It was the Father who performed the works, Jesus Christ as a man did not do any miracles, He did not heal anyone, it was God the Father who did the works, says Christ, and the One that spoke Christ says: “The Son of Himself cannot do anything.” He said it was the Father Who dwelt in Him, that did the works; and as the Father gave Him to speak, thus He spoke. It was God speaking through Jesus. He gave all the honor to God.
And now, we thank God for Jesus Christ our Savior, by whom, and through whom He spoke and carried out the Work of Redemption; and now the way was opened, a new way was opened to come to God. Christ is the Way. He is the One that takes us to God. In that Way, of which the book of Acts says that there was dissension between the jews in relation to that Way, the new Way; the only way that takes us to God under the New Covenant; which is the only Way to seek God and to find God.
“SEEK YE GOD WHILE HE MAY BE FOUND.” Is my invitation to those that have not yet found God, and have not yet received Christ as Savior, so that they may come to God and may obtain eternal Life through Christ. There is no other way to receive eternal Life, but by means of Christ our Savior.
Remember He said: “My sheep hear my voice and they follow me, and I give unto them eternal Life.” He has the exclusivity of eternal Life to grant It, to give It, to all that seek Him, and receive Him as only and sufficient Savior. Therefore, the counsel the king David gave his son Solomon, was right: “If you seek Him you shall find Him. If you forsake Him, He will cast thee off for ever.
Now see the words of First John chapter 5, verse 10, and on, says:
“He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son.
And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.
Where is the Life that every human being wants? In Jesus Christ.
“He that hath the Son hath life…”
Whoever has not the Son because he has not received Him as Savior, he has not eternal Life; because eternal Life is given by God to the human being through Christ our Savior.
“These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.”
The good news for the believers in Christ is that we have eternal Life, because we have received Him as our only and sufficient Savior.
In St. John Christ Himself tells us… St. John chapter 5, verses 19, and on, says:
“Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself…”
See? Of himself He could not perform miracles, He could not even preach, He could not do anything.
“The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father but what he seeth the Father do…”
In other words, God would show Him in vision what He was to do. If showed Him a person that was being healed, Christ went ahead and did it, in other words, God through Christ, He showed to Christ what to do.
“The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise.
For the Father loveth the Son, and showeth him him all things that himself doeth: and he will show him greater works than these, that ye may marvel.
For as the Father raiseth up the dead, and quickeneth them; even so the Son quickeneth whom he will.
For the Father judgeth no man, but have committed all judment unto the Son:
that all men should honor the Son, even as they honor the Father. He that honoreth not the Son honoreth not the Father which hath sent him.
Verily, verily, I say unto you, he that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation;, but is passed from death unto life.”
He who hears the Word of the Lord, has what? Eternal Life. Those are words of Christ our Savior. And has passed, unto what? Has passed from death unto life.
And how will a person being alive receive the Word of the Lord, and receives Him as Savior, and is baptized in water in His Name, and receives the Spirit of Christ; and he being alive has passed from death unto life, if he has not died?
All the human beings on the Earth when they are born they are dead. You will say to me: “They are born alive.” They are born dead unto eternal Life, they do not have eternal Life.
That’s why it says in Ephesians chapter 5, verse 14:
“Wherefore he saith,
Awake thou that sleepest,
and arise from the dead,
and Christ shall give thee light.”
And how will a person arise from the dead if he is alive? He is alive in a temporary life, but he is dead to eternal Life; and he has to arise from the dead, dead unto eternal Life, one arises unto eternal Life by receiving Christ as Savior, and being baptized in water in His Name and by receiving the Holy Spirit; there the person arises unto eternal Life.
And consequently, that person has born from Heaven; “for our conversation is in Heaven, from where we wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ who will change our vile body unto the likeness of His body.” so that our body may be in the likeness, equal to the glorified body He has; for that purpose is His second Coming to His Church.
We now have seen how we pass from death unto life, how we pass from this earthly life unto eternal Life. And when a person receives Christ as Savior and is baptized in water in His Name his soul already has eternal Life and Christ baptizes him with Holy Spirit and Fire; he is born unto eternal Life.
And what we then need is to be restored physically unto eternal Life, which will be at the Coming of the Lord when He transforms our bodies, by giving us the eternal, immortal, incorruptible and glorified body; then we will not only have eternal Life within our soul and spirit, but we will also have eternal Life in our physical body; and young for all eternity, equal to Jesus Christ who is as young as when He ascended to Heaven.
So we are not expecting to see Christ as an old man, being that He ascended to Heaven two thousand years ago; we are expecting to see Him as young as when He ascended to Heaven. And when He transforms us, we will all be young, representing 18, to 21, years of age, which is the prime of youth.
“Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live. (John 5:25).
The people who died unto eternal Life, because they were born as descendants of Adam, who died unto eternal Life, they will hear the Voice, the preaching of the Gospel of Christ, and shall live, they will obtain eternal Life.
And then at His Coming, those who died literally, will rise in glorified bodies, and we which are alive will be transformed.
“For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself;
and hath given him authority t execute judgment also, because he is the Son of man.
Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice,
and shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life (that is the first resurrection for the believers in Christ; and then, later on, comes the other resurrection, which will be for the final judgement); and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation (that will be after the Millennium).
We can see how important it is to seek God while He may be found, seek for Him while we are living in the Dispensation of Grace, where the Dispensation of the Kingdom interlaces with the Dispensation of Grace; and we must do it while He can be found, because we are still on Earth.
When the person dies, if he did not seek God while he was on Earth, he lost his opportunity to seek God. It happens to him as it happened to the rich man, that he did not seek God while he was on Earth and his time was spent on banquets, on feasts, and that type of life; and he did not care to seek God. If he had sought for God, he would have found Him; and when he died, he would have gone to Abraham’s Bosom; but he did not seek for God while he was alive, he did not worry about seeking God.
The time to seek God is while the person is living on Earth. And the sooner the better.
That’s why when the believers in Christ have a baby, they present him to God, to Christ as soon as possible, so he is secured in the Kingdom of Christ; and for that reason there are Bible studies for the children also, so they’ll be in God’s way which is Christ, and we may have them living with us in the Millennial Kingdom and for all eternity.
For that reason the Word of God is taught: so the people may seek God, and they are taught how to seek God. One must seek God through Christ our Savior. And that’s how a person finds God and is reconciled unto God with eternal Life.
“SEEK GOD WHILE HE MAY BE FOUND.”
If anyone has not yet received God, you may do it at this moment, by receiving Christ as only and sufficient Savior, so Christ may receive you in His Kingdom and forgive you and with His Blood may cleanse you of all sin, and you be baptized in water in His Name, and Christ may baptize you with Holy Spirit and Fire and produce in you the new birth; for which you may come to the front and we will be praying for you.
God has much people in Argentina, and is calling them in this end time to place them in His Kingdom, the Kingdom of God.
In the interior of the human being, in the soul of the human being there is a need to seek God. We are all in need of eternal Life, and there is only one way to receive eternal Life and it is through Jesus Christ. For that purpose the Gospel of Christ is preached, so that the persons that are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life, may hear the Voice of Christ and may receive Him as only and sufficient Savior.
Christ Himself said to His disciples after resurrecting, in St. Mark chapter 16, verses 15, to 16:
“And he said unto them: Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel unto every creature.
He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.”
As simple as that.
We are all in the same position in which the people of the past were. God has placed before the human being life and death, blessing and curse; and He recommends the human being to choose life to live eternally. And when one chooses life, one is choosing Jesus Christ as only and sufficient Savior.
Remember He said: “I am the way, the truth, and the life; and no man comes to the Father but by me.” St. John chapter 14, verse 6. And when He went to resurrect Lazarus, which is type and figure of all the believers in Christ that had to depart from the physical body, by dying physically, in the different ages, from the time of the apostles to the present; but Christ resurrected Lazarus, type and figure of the resurrection that He will do with all His believers that have died physically. He resurrected Lazarus at the fourth day, which is type and figure of the stage in which He will resurrect all the believers in Him, which have died physically.
See here in chapter 6, of St. John, verses 39, to 40, says:
“And this is the Father’s will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up at the last day.
And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.”
It is Christ that teaches that He will raise up all the believers in Him at the Last Day. And in St. John chapter 11, when He went to resurrect Lazarus, verse 23, and on, says:
“Jesus saith unto her (unto Martha), Thy brother shall rise again.
Martha saith unto him, I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day.
Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:
and whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?
She saith unto him, Yea, Lord: I believe that thou art the Christ, the Son of God, which should come into the world.”
Now notice, every one who lives and believes in Christ, will not die eternally; if he dies physically, Christ will resurrect him at the Last Day, which is the seventh millennium from Adam to the present, or third millennium from Christ to the present.
Therefore, the believers in Christ have their faith an hope in the resurrection if they die physically, or in the transformation if they remain alive until the moment of the resurrection. That’s the promise of Christ for all those that believe in Him.
Therefore, the believers in Christ have an eternal future with Christ in His eternal Kingdom. Their future is certain under the New Covenant.
Children of ten years and older, may also come to the Feet of Christ, so they be included in the prayer we are about to make for all the ones that are receiving Christ as Savior.
Those in other nations may also come to the Feet of Christ to be included in the prayer we will be doing for all the people that are coming to the Feet of Christ in this occasion.
Let us all stand up to pray for the people that are coming to the Feet of Christ our Savior. If there is anyone yet to come you may come. With our hands raise to Heaven, to Christ, and with our eyes closed:
Heavenly Father, I come to You in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ with all these people that are receiving Christ as only and sufficient Savior. Receive them Lord, in Your Kingdom and give them eternal Life. I ask it in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, to Whom be glory and honor for ever and ever. Amen.
And now repeat this prayer with me:
Lord Jesus Christ, I heard the preaching of Your Gospel and Your faith was born in my heart, in my soul.
I believe in You with all my soul. I believe in Your Name as the only Name under Heaven given unto men whereby we shall be saved. I believe in Your death on Calvary’s Cross as the Sacrifice of Atonement for our sins.
I accept that I am a sinner and need a Savior. I testify publicly of my faith in You and of Your faith in me, and I receive You as my only and sufficient Savior.
I beg You to forgive my sins and to cleanse me with Your Blood of all sin, and to baptize with Holy Spirit and Fire after I’d be baptized in water in Your Name, and may You produce in me the new birth.
I want to be born in Your Kingdom, I want to live eternally with You in Your Kingdom. Save me, Lord. Make Your salvation a reality in me, the salvation You purchased for me at Calvary’s Cross. I beg You in Your eternal and glorious Name, Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
With our hands raised to Christ, to Heaven, we say: THE BLOOD OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST HAS CLEANSED ME OF ALL SIN! THE BLOOD OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST HAS CLEANSED ME OF ALL SIN! THE BLOOD OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST HAS CLEANSED ME OF ALL SIN! Amen.
Christ has received you in His Kingdom, has forgiven your sins, and with His Blood He has cleansed you of all sin, because you have received Him as your only and sufficient Savior.
Now you will say to me: “I want to be baptized in water as soon as possible, in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, for He said: ‘He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved, but he that believeth not shall be damned.’ St. Mark chapter 16, verses 15, to 16. When can I be baptized? Is the question from within your heart.
In as much as you have believed of all heart, you may well be baptized; and may Christ baptized you with Holy Spirit and Fire, and may He produce in you the new birth.
The Lord Jesus Christ was baptized by John the Baptist, who did not want to baptize Him and would say: “I’m in need to be baptized by You, and You come to me to be baptized? Christ tells him: “It behooves us to fulfill all righteousness.” And then John baptized Him, and the Holy Spirit descended upon Jesus as He came out of the water. When John baptized Him and lifted Him from the water the Holy Spirit came upon Him. And Christ said: “Go ye into all the world and preach the gospel unto every creature.
He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved…”
Christ’s commandment for the people that would hear the Gospel being preached and believed in Him, was to be baptized in water.
Water baptism in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ is being performed by the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ from the day of Pentecost to the present time, and continues baptizing in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ every person that receives Christ as only and sufficient Savior.
Water baptism does not take away sin, water has no power to take away sins, it is the Blood of Christ that cleanses us of all sin; but water baptism is typological, is symbolic.
In water baptism the person identifies with Christ in His death, burial and resurrection. When the person receives Christ as Savior, he dies to the world; and when the minister immerses him in the baptismal waters, in type the person is being buried; and when he is lifted from the water, he is resurrecting unto new life: unto eternal Life with Christ in His eternal Kingdom. As simple as that is the symbolism of water baptism in water in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Therefore, you may well be baptized, and may Christ baptize you with the Holy Spirit and Fire, and may produce in you the new birth. And we will continue to see each other eternally in the Kingdom of Christ our Savior.
