Speaking and doing what God wants

Good evening, beloved friends and brethren present here in Panama; Panama, Panama, that is, Panama’s capital city. It is a great blessing for me to be with you on this occasion, to share with you a few moments of fellowship around the Word of God and His Program relevant to this end time.

For which I want to read in John, chapter 8, verses 28 to 29; and Luke, chapter 2, verse 49. It says in John, chapter 8, verse 28 to 29:

“Then said Jesus unto them, When ye have lifted up the Son of man, then shall ye know that I am he, and that I do nothing of myself; but as my Father hath taught me, I speak these things.

And he that sent me is with me: the Father hath not left me alone; for I do always those things that please him.”

And in Luke, chapter 2, verse 49, on the occasion when they went to Jerusalem, to the feast relevant to that occasion (as Joseph and Mary usually did with the child Jesus, who on that occasion was already 12 years old); and then, when it was time to return to Nazareth, from Jerusalem back to Nazareth…, they all left to Nazareth from Jerusalem, returning, but when they had been walking for some days (because back then they had to go either on foot or on donkey or camel), and they realized that Jesus was not there.

You know, they didn’t notice immediately, because it happens as it happens with our children, that sometimes one is walking with the children, and other people with their children, and one thinks they are playing and there they all come in the group of children; but when they looked for Jesus (surely when it was time to give Him something to eat)…; and they don’t find Jesus: they had to, after walking all that time from Jerusalem to Nazareth, we find that Joseph and Mary had to turn around to look for the child Jesus. Where? Well, where they had seen Him for the last time.

Sometimes we look for some things that we lose, and sometimes we look everywhere but we don’t look in the last place where we had seen it, and that is where we have to start the search: in the last place where we had last seen what we are looking for.

They looked for Him, it says, among relatives; but had they seen Him among the relatives when they were on their way back? No, so He wasn’t there.

Let’s read chapter 2. This passage is very beautiful, let’s… verse 41 and on, it says [Luke]:

“Now his parents went to Jerusalem every year at the feast of the passover (that is, in the month of April or Abib, month of Abib).

And when he was twelve years old, they went up to Jerusalem after the custom of the feast.

And when they had fulfilled the days, as they returned, the child Jesus tarried behind in Jerusalem; and Joseph and his mother knew not of it.

But they, supposing him to have been in the company, went a day’s journey; and they sought him among their kinsfolk and acquaintance.”

It is very sad to walk thinking that Jesus is walking with the people, and then find out that He is not. That happened to them here. And then they looked for Him among their relatives, who were also on their way back from Jerusalem to the city of Nazareth, and they didn’t find Him.

“…and they sought him among their kinsfolk and acquaintance.

And when they found him not, they turned back again to Jerusalem, seeking him.

And it came to pass, that after three days they found him in the temple, sitting in the midst of the doctors, both hearing them, and asking them questions.

And all that heard him were astonished at his understanding and answers.

And when they saw him, they were amazed: and his mother said unto him (that is, Maria), Son, why hast thou thus dealt with us? behold, thy father and I have sought thee sorrowing.

And he said unto them, How is it that ye sought me? wist ye not that I must be about my Father’s business?

And they understood not the saying which he spake unto them.”

May God bless our souls with His Words and allow us to understand It.

Our subject for this occasion is: “SPEAKING AND DOING WHAT GOD WANTS,” and that is, what pleases God.

Throughout the Scripture we can see that Jesus was doing what God was pleased with; and that was to be working in the business of His heavenly Father, fulfilling the messianic promises, the promises of the First Coming of Christ; and testifying of those promises, and making known to the people that those promises were fulfilled in the midst of the people in those days, in whom? In our beloved Lord Jesus Christ. He Himself identified the messianic prophecies, which were being fulfilled in Him, and He was not ashamed to testify that, in Him, the messianic Scriptures of the First Coming of Christ were fulfilled.

Notice, in Luke, chapter 4, verse 17 and on, says… verse 16 and on it says, of Luke, chapter 4:

“And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and stood up for to read.

And there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet Esaias. And when he had opened the book, he found the place where it was written,

The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,

To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.

And he closed the book, and he gave it again to the minister, and sat down. And the eyes of all them that were in the synagogue were fastened on him.

And he began to say unto them, This day is this scripture fulfilled in your ears.”

And that Scripture speaks of the First and Second Coming of Christ.

And now, He read the part pertaining to the First Coming of Christ, and finished His reading where it said: “To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.”

And why did He not continue reading? Because what the following part said: “…and the day of vengeance of our God,”¹ that part corresponds to His Second Coming; therefore, He read up to where He was going to fulfill in His First Coming, and then He tells them: “Today this Scripture has been fulfilled before you”</em>; and the rest, well, it would be fulfilled in His Second Coming.

And now, anyone says or thinks: “Everyone must have been happy to hear Jesus saying that that messianic promise was being fulfilled: The Coming of the Messiah in Him”; but look what happened:

“And all bare him witness, and wondered at the gracious words which proceeded out of his mouth. And they said, Is not this Joseph’s son?

And he said unto them, Ye will surely say unto me this proverb, Physician, heal thyself: whatsoever we have heard done in Capernaum, do also here in thy country.

And he said, Verily I say unto you, No prophet is accepted in his own country.”

The common saying among Latinos is: “No one is a prophet in his own land.”

“But I tell you of a truth, many widows were in Israel in the days of Elias, when the heaven was shut up three years and six months, when great famine was throughout all the land;

But unto none of them was Elias sent, save unto Sarepta, a city of Sidon, unto a woman that was a widow.

And many lepers were in Israel in the time of Eliseus the prophet; and none of them was cleansed, saving Naaman the Syrian.

And all they in the synagogue, when they heard these things, were filled with wrath…”

Notice, listening to Jesus preaching and speaking of the prophet Elisha, and speaking of the prophet Elijah, they were filled with wrath. And for what did they go to the Church, to the synagogue, to listen to the Word of God or to be filled with wrath with Jesus’ preaching?

“And rose up, and thrust him out of the city, and led him unto the brow of the hill whereon their city was built, that they might cast him down headlong  (to throw Him over a cliff and let Him die, to kill Him).

But he passing through the midst of them went his way…”

Why? Because the time had not yet come for Him to die, therefore, He could not die until His time had come. He said: “No one takes my life from me. I lay it down of myself to take it again.”²

They wanted to kill Jesus before the time appointed by God many times, and He left the midst of the people, He escaped from them, because His hour had not yet come. But when the hour came for Him to die, He recognized it and said: “The Son of Man is going up to Jerusalem, He will be taken prisoner, He will be judged and condemned and crucified; but on the third day He will rise, He will resurrect.”³

Now, notice, Jesus knew, He knew the purpose for which He was on Earth, He knew the Divine Program that was being fulfilled in Him. Why? Because the Father was in Him, veiled in that veil of flesh called Jesus, and revealed through that veil of flesh called Jesus; and therefore the words that He spoke were the words of the Father. It was the Father through His Son Jesus Christ speaking in the midst of the Hebrew people. And the works that Jesus did were not the works of a man, but the works of God, of the Father through His Son Jesus Christ.

That is why the apostle Saint Paul in his letter to the Hebrews, chapter 1, verse 1 to 2, can say:

“God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,

Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son…”

Who spoke through the Son, through Jesus Christ? The Father, the God Creator of the Heavens and the Earth, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.

“…whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds…”

God speaking through His Son Jesus Christ in the last days, because the last days had already begun before God, which are the last millenniums for the human race; which are: fifth millennium, sixth millennium and seventh millennium.

The fifth millennium began when Jesus was 4 to 7 years old, and so the last days began. And when He was about 30 years old, Jesus began His ministry, and God began to speak through Jesus Christ, His Son, all the words that had to be spoken by God. There was a man, a veil of flesh in which God, the Father, was veiled and revealed speaking His Word through His Son Jesus Christ.

And the works that Jesus Christ was doing, He Himself says that they were the works of the Father. He said: “I do nothing of myself. As I see the Father do, so I do; as I see Him work, so I work.”⁴ “And I speak nothing of myself, but as I hear the Father speak, so I speak to you.”⁵ That was the way Jesus used, it was the Word of the Father coming through the Son.

Notice, in chapter 14 of John it says, verse 6 and on it says:

“Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.

Philip saith unto him, Lord, show us the Father, and it sufficeth us.

Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Show us the Father?

Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.”

And the words that Jesus spoke were the words of the Father, who dwelt (where?) in Him; therefore, they were the words of the Father exiting through the lips of Jesus Christ our Savior, and they were the works of the heavenly Father that were in Jesus being carried out. And all those miracles and wonders that were done by Jesus or performed by Jesus, were the works of the One who was within Jesus, the One who was within that veil of flesh: the heavenly Father, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, who delivered the Hebrew people from bondage. And now He had a veil of flesh called Jesus, through whom He spoke and through whom He worked.

The Lord Jesus Christ was revealing the Father who was in Him. It was the revelation of the heavenly Father, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, through His Son Jesus Christ. That is why the works that Jesus did were not His own works, but the works of the Father who dwelt in Him; it was the Father working through His Son Jesus Christ.

And now, Christ once said, in John, chapter 12, verse 28:

“Father, glorify thy name. Then came there a voice from heaven, saying, I have both glorified it, and will glorify it again.”

And notice how the Father was in Jesus, in His Son, veiled —that is, within a veil of flesh— and then revealed. Behind that veil of flesh was the heavenly Father.

It is like in the most holy place of the temple that Moses built or tabernacle that Moses built, and the temple that Solomon built, there was a very special place called the most holy place, which at its entrance door had a curtain, a veil; and behind that veil was God in the Light of the Shekinah, there was the Angel of the Lord over the mercy seat; and the mercy seat was the lid of the ark, and in the ark were the tables of the Law, and there was Aaron’s rod that budded, and there was also a vessel, a full pot, a pot of gold full of manna, which didn’t corrupt because it was inside the ark of the covenant, behind the curtain, behind the veil; for God was veiled inside the most holy place; God was behind the veil.

And now, when the First Coming of Christ is fulfilled, God is veiled in a human temple called Jesus. He is no longer in the tabernacle built by Moses, that tabernacle was no longer there, neither was the temple built by King Solomon, where God had also entered. And He was veiled in Solomon’s time, inside the most holy place, behind the veil of the most holy place, of the entrance door of the most holy place.

But now in the temple that King Herod built for the Hebrews, the ark of the covenant was not there, nor was the mercy seat, nor was the presence of God, the Pillar of Fire that had guided the Hebrew people.

But now when Jesus appears, the Pillar of Fire is there, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the heavenly Father within His human Temple. For the human being is a human temple; that is why he has an outer court, which is the body; he has a holy place, which is his spirit; and he has a most holy place, which is his soul. In the same way that Moses’ tabernacle was built and King Solomon’s temple was built.

And now, see how in the human Temple called Jesus, the heavenly Father is there, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.

Many people looked at the man, and said: “This is a man, and by the finger of Beelzebub, the prince of demons, He casts out demons.”⁶ But others looked at Jesus and the works that He was doing, and Nicodemus said: “We know that you have come from God as a Master; for no one can do these works, these things that you do, unless God is with him.”⁷

Do you see? It all depends on what the person is looking at: if the person looks at the instrument, the veil of flesh that God uses, and looks at it to find faults and criticize him, he will be stumbling and will not see the one inside that veil of flesh working the divine promises, fulfilling what God promised for that time.

The works of God done through Jesus were the fulfillment of what God had promised for that time; and those promises pertaining to the First Coming of Christ were fulfilled through Jesus.

That is why Jesus could say: “It is good for me to be about my Father’s business.”⁸ And how was He? Working in them, fulfilling the promises relevant to that time; even as a 12-year-old boy, He was already working in the business of the heavenly Father.

That is why all children can work in the business of our heavenly Father, no matter how old they are, they all have the same opportunity: little children, the youth, the adults and the elderly too.

Now, we can see that it was the heavenly Father working, speaking and working, speaking and doing the works pertaining to that time; but He had to use a man, and that was our beloved Lord Jesus Christ.

They were the works of God through a man, through our beloved Lord Jesus Christ, who came without sin, because His physical body was created by God; because every human being was contaminated by sin and there were only sacrifices of little animals, which couldn’t take away sin; the blood of the little animals couldn’t take away sin, they only covered sin until a perfect Sacrifice arrived, a perfect Lamb of God that would take away sin.

And when that Lamb of God came to be sacrificed, John the Baptist, who had announced that a man was coming after him, of whom he was not worthy to untie the latchet of His shoes,⁹ when he saw Him, he said: “Behold the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world.”¹⁰

Therefore, no more animal sacrifices were going to be needed, because God had already said through Isaiah that God didn’t want sacrifices and offerings and burnt offerings anymore,¹¹ but He said: “But thou hast appropriated a body for me”¹²; and the body that God provided for Himself, the body that God provided Himself was the body of Jesus, to be the perfect Sacrifice for sin, but God provided Himself with a body to be sacrificed as the Lamb of God in the Work of Redemption.</sup>

And from there on the human being would no longer need to be taking animals to sacrifice for sin, to cover his sins, because we would have a perfect Sacrifice, which wouldn’t cover sin, but would take away sin completely, a single Sacrifice.

All sacrifices that the Hebrew people performed during the year, they all represented the Sacrifice of Christ, they were the type and figure; but when Christ arrived and carried out His Sacrifice on Calvary’s Cross, that was no longer the type and figure, it was the reality that had been represented in those sacrifices of little animals.

Now, we can see who our beloved Lord Jesus Christ is: He is the Sent One from God, the Son of God, in whom God was veiled and revealed in the midst of the Hebrew people, speaking and doing what God wanted.

That is why we see Jesus speaking and doing what God wanted, because God revealed to Jesus what He wanted, and Jesus did it. And Jesus was pleased, He was pleased to do the will of the heavenly Father who was in Him, and thus the redemption of the human being was carried out.

Now, from age to age we find that Jesus Christ our Savior, just as the Father was in the Old Testament veiling Himself and partially revealing Himself in every Old Testament prophet, because:

“God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,

Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds.”

(Hebrews, chapter 1, verse 1 to 2).

And now, we see Jesus with the manifestation of God in all His fullness in the fulfillment of the First Coming of the Messiah. Then the Lord Jesus Christ in Holy Spirit has been manifested from stage to stage in the midst of His Church, through the apostles and through the seven angel messengers, veiled and revealed in the portion relevant to each age, as He did through the prophets of the Old Testament.

And for this end time, we can see how those messengers of God spoke and did the Work of God relevant to the time they were allotted to live in; and thus they did according to the will of God, they did what God wanted them to do at that time, and that was to fulfill the Divine Program relevant to each age. But now, for the end time, Jesus Christ says in Revelation 22, verse 16:

“I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches.”

And just as Christ was in each angel messenger of each past age of His Church, veiled and revealed, speaking and doing the Work relevant to each age, and each messenger doing what pleased God, what God wanted for each stage; for that end time, Jesus Christ, the Angel of the Covenant, will be veiled and revealed in His Angel Messenger, of whom He says:

“I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches.”

The revelation of the Lord Jesus Christ will come in His Angel Messenger for the whole Church of the Lord Jesus Christ; and that Angel Messenger will be speaking and doing; working in the Work of Christ, and doing what pleases God, in other words, fulfilling the Divine Program relevant to this end time; because it will be Jesus Christ in His Angel Messenger carrying out the Work of this end time.

Therefore, what the Angel Messenger of Jesus Christ will speak will not be his own words, but the Word of Christ, the Message of Christ for this end time, which is revealed to the Angel of the Lord Jesus Christ for him to speak to His Church.

And as Christ will speak and show him, so shall the Angel of the Lord Jesus Christ speak; and as Christ will show him and as Christ will work, so shall the Angel of the Lord Jesus Christ work.

And thus Jesus Christ will fulfill what He has promised for this end time, for He will be veiled in His Angel Messenger, and revealed through His Angel Messenger, making known to us all these things that must shortly come to pass, and carrying out the works of God, the works of Jesus Christ relevant to this end time.

And that will be the Angel of the Lord Jesus Christ seen in plain sight; but those who will know that Christ will be in the Angel of Jesus Christ, Jesus Christ veiled and revealed, those who will have that knowledge, they will say: “It is the Voice of Christ, that Great Voice of Trumpet of the Gospel of the Kingdom, speaking to us all these things that must happen soon.”

And the works that will be being done in the Divine Program, in the Church of Jesus Christ, will be the works of Jesus Christ promised to be done in this end time. They will not be the works of a man, but the works of Jesus Christ through a man being carried out. Therefore, the glory goes to our beloved Lord Jesus Christ.

When the apostle Saint John saw all this manifestation of Christ in His Angel, and heard and saw all these things that the Angel showed to the apostle Saint John, all this apocalyptic revelation in symbols, the apostle Saint John wanted to worship at the feet of the Angel; and the Angel told him not to do it; because the Angel is a prophet, the prophet of the Dispensation of the Kingdom, of the seventh dispensation, redeemed by the Blood of Jesus Christ; therefore, the Angel tells John not to do it, not to worship him, but to worship God.¹³

Now we can see how the revelation of Jesus Christ for the Last Day would come to the Church of Jesus Christ in the same way the revelation of the Father came: it came gradually through the prophets of the Old Testament, and then in Jesus in all His fullness. Then the revelation of Jesus Christ has come from age to age through His different messengers, through the seven messengers in the midst of the gentile Church; and then it will come in His Angel Messenger in all His fullness.

And the words, the Message that we will be hearing through the Angel of Jesus Christ, will be the Voice of Christ speaking to us and making known to us all these things that must happen soon; and thus revealing to us the mystery of the Seventh Seal, the mystery of the Second Coming of Christ, as the Lion of the tribe of Judah, as King of kings and Lord of lords in His Reclaiming Work.

And the works that will be being done by the Angel of Jesus Christ in the Church of Jesus Christ, in the Program of God, will not be the works of a man, but the works of Jesus Christ through His Angel Messenger. It will be Jesus Christ in Holy Spirit who will be speaking and who will be working through His Angel Messenger.

And His Angel will be working and speaking as God wants him to speak and as God wants him to work; and he will be SPEAKING AND DOING WHAT GOD WANTS, as Jesus was speaking and doing, working, what the Father wanted. What the Father wanted, so Jesus Christ spoke and worked; and now what Jesus Christ wants, will be being fulfilled through His Angel Messenger, he will be speaking and doing what Jesus Christ wants to be done in this end time.

And He always has to have a man, an instrument, so that the works of God may be carried out in the midst of His Church in this end time, as it happened in past ages. And to make all these things known to us, well, He has to have a man through whom all these things are made known, they are revealed to him, and he reveals them to the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ. “For the Lord God will do nothing without first revealing His secrets to His servants His prophets,” Amos, chapter 3, verse 7 says.

And Deuteronomy, chapter 18, verse 15 to 19, the prophet Moses tells us: “The Lord your God will raise up unto you a prophet like me; him shall ye hear.” Why? Because the Word of God comes through that prophet, the Voice of God speaking to His people.

God says to Moses, on verse 18 of the same chapter 18: “I will raise up for them a prophet like you from among the people; and I will put my words in his mouth, and he shall speak to them all that I shall command him.”

Where does God place His words? In the mouth of the prophet He raises up in the midst of the people. And what will that prophet speak? The words that God places in his mouth and in his heart. “And whosoever will not hear what he shall speak in my name, I will call him to account (says God),” and that means that whoever doesn’t listen to the Voice of God through that prophet will be uprooted from the people.

Acts, the book of Acts, chapter 3, verse 22 to 23, Saint Peter quoting that prophecy, tells us that anyone who doesn’t listen to that prophet will be uprooted from the people, he loses the right to belong to the people of God, and therefore loses the right to eternal life.

Now, we can see how the Sent One by God comes: SPEAKING AND DOING WHAT GOD WANTS.

We saw how the Sent One by the Father (Jesus) came speaking and doing what God wanted —for that time— to be spoken by His Sent One and to be done by His Sent One, until He worked the Redemption on Calvary’s Cross.

And now, for the Last Day, we can see how it is that the Angel of the Lord Jesus Christ comes, of whom Christ said in Revelation 22, verse 16:

“I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches.”

That is the Sent One of Jesus Christ, and Jesus Christ will be veiled and revealed through him, making known to us all these things that must soon come to pass.

“And the Lord God of the holy prophets sent his angel to (manifest) shew unto his servants the things which must shortly be done.”

(Revelation, chapter 22, verse 6).

And now, we can see how the Sent One of Jesus Christ comes: He comes speaking all the things that must happen soon; and He comes doing, working, according to the Divine Program, the things that Jesus Christ wants him to do; because those are the works that Jesus Christ will be doing, which He promised to do in this end time, and He will do them through His Angel Messenger.

We have seen how the Sent One by Jesus Christ comes in the Last Day: speaking and doing what God, what Jesus Christ wants; and that is how we will obtain the revelation of all these things that must take place soon; and we will obtain the faith, the revelation, to be transformed and taken with Christ to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb. And when we are transformed, and the dead in Christ have been resurrected, then we will all be equal to Jesus Christ: with an immortal and incorruptible and glorified physical body, equal to the body of Jesus Christ; and then we will see Him in His glorified body.

Now, the Angel of Jesus Christ is not Jesus Christ; he is only a redeemed one by the Blood of Jesus Christ, a member of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ with the prophetic ministry of the Dispensation of the Kingdom; he is a dispensational prophet.

It is the first occasion in which Jesus Christ sends to His Church a dispensational prophet, to make known all these things that must come to pass soon, in this end time. And through him we will be hearing the Voice of Christ, the Great Voice of Trumpet or Last Trumpet, calling and gathering all the elect of God. For that is how the Sent One will be: speaking and doing what God, what Jesus Christ wants.

“SPEAKING AND DOING WHAT GOD WANTS.”

That has been our subject for this occasion. And we have seen that we can’t be speaking and doing anything, but what is prophesied to be spoken and done in this end time by the Sent One of Jesus Christ, the Angel of the Lord Jesus Christ, in whom Jesus Christ in Holy Spirit will be manifested, veiled and revealed through His Angel Messenger.

This Angel of Jesus Christ comes revealing Jesus Christ. Just as Jesus Christ came revealing the Father, now the Sent One by Jesus Christ comes revealing Jesus Christ; and that is how He comes speaking and doing what Jesus Christ wants.

“SPEAKING AND DOING WHAT GOD WANTS.”

It has been a great privilege for me to be with you tonight, testifying to you of how the Sent One of God comes. How did Jesus Christ, the Sent One of the Father, come? Speaking and doing what God wanted. And how does the Angel of the Lord Jesus Christ come in the Last Day? Speaking and doing what Jesus Christ wants.

May the blessings of Jesus Christ, the Angel of the Covenant, be upon you all and upon me also; and may soon the number of God’s elect be completed, and may soon the dead in Christ be resurrected in eternal bodies, and us who are alive be transformed, and may we all be taken with Christ to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb in Heaven. In the Eternal Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen and amen.

It has been for me a great privilege to be with you tonight, testifying to you of how the Sent One of Jesus Christ comes: “SPEAKING AND DOING WHAT GOD WANTS.”

Thank you very much for your kind attention, and continue having a night filled of the blessings of Jesus Christ our Savior.

May God continue to bless and keep you all, for this time and for all eternity.
