Good evening, beloved friends and brethren in Christ gathered here and in different countries.
May God bless you greatly and open the Scriptures to us and our understanding so that we understand.
Warm greetings to Missionary Miguel Bermúdez Marín, who was speaking to us a few minutes ago; and also to all the ministers in all countries.
Let’s read chapter 17, verse 20 and on, of Saint Luke, which says:
“And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation:
Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.
And he said unto the disciples, The days will come, when ye shall desire to see one of the days of the Son of man, and ye shall not see it.
And they shall say to you, See here; or, see there: go not after them, nor follow them.
For as the lightning, that lighteneth out of the one part under heaven, shineth unto the other part under heaven; so shall also the Son of man be in his day.
But first must he suffer many things, and be rejected of this generation.
And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.
They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.
Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded;
But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.
Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.”
May God bless our souls with His Word and allow us to understand it.
“THE DAY OF THE SON OF MAN AND THE WORKS HE WILL DO IN HIS COMING.”
Jesus tells us that the Coming of the Son of Man will be as it was in the days of Lot and as it was in the days of Noah too.
In both times, there was destruction: in Noah’s time for the antediluvian people or world, and it was with water; in Lot’s time, the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah and some nearby cities, was with fire; and as it was in those days, so shall it be at this end time.
The destruction by water in Noah’s time and the destruction by fire in Lot’s time represents the Divine judgment that will fall upon the human race for the destruction of the kingdom of the antichrist, the kingdom of the beast, the Gentile kingdom, which will be in the stage of the feet of iron and clay; for in the interpretation given in Daniel chapter 2, of the statue which the king saw and which was interpreted by the prophet *Daniel, the destruction of the statue came in the feet, in other words, when it was representing the Gentile kingdom at the end time, in the stage of the feet of iron and clay, which is the last stage of the Gentile kingdom, the stage relevant to the beast, the antichrist, at the end time. Therefore, the destruction will be by atomic fire; atomic fire in a third world war that will take place at the end time.
Before the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah, God appeared to Abraham, and then the Angels Gabriel and Michael appeared to Lot, there in Sodom and Gomorrah. In other words, that manifestation of God represents the manifestation of the Son of Man with His Angels at the end time; and His Angels are the ministries of Moses and Elijah at the end time.
The ministry of Moses was repeated in Jesus and it will be repeated at this end time; and the ministry of Elijah was repeated in Elisha, then it was repeated for the third time in John the Baptist, then it was repeated for the fourth time in Reverend William Branham; and it will be repeated once again at this end time for the fifth occasion as one of the Two Olive Trees, the Two Anointed Ones of Revelation, chapter 11, verses 1 to 14, that promise, that prophecy, which comes from Zechariah, chapter 4, verse 1 to 14.
How will God do it? It’s simple. It won’t literally be Moses, but a prophet like Moses. That is what the Scripture says: “The Lord thy God will raise up unto thee a Prophet like me; unto him ye shall hearken.”[1]
And the promise of the coming of Elijah won’t literally be Elijah, but a prophet like Elijah. That is also how the Jews are expecting him.
And that is for the end time, for the Day of the Cornerstone Age, because the Coming of the Son of Man two thousand years ago was in a Cornerstone Age.
Then, we will find that God has already given us a sample of this through Reverend William Branham, in a manifestation of the Son of Man, of the Holy Spirit, of the Angel of the Covenant, of Christ in Holy Spirit veiled and revealed in Reverend William Branham, speaking to His Church and carrying out the work of forerunning the Second Coming of Christ.
There was a manifestation of the Son of Man in Reverend William Branham, but he departed; but he said there will be another manifestation of the Son of Man to announce the Divine judgments. Therefore, it will be a manifestation of the Son of Man no longer in mercy, but in Divine judgment, to announce the day of vengeance of our God, where Christ stopped when He read Isaiah, chapter 61, verse 1 to 2; while He was reading, He stopped in the middle of the passage of Isaiah 61, there in verse 2; and He read that in chapter 4 of Saint Luke.
Why didn’t Jesus Christ continue reading? Because He would have said: “This day is this Scripture fulfilled…” And He was not carrying out the proclamation or preaching of the day of vengeance of our God in His First Coming. He was proclaiming the acceptable Year of the Lord. Therefore, that was how far He had to read.
The part that says: “to proclaim the day of vengeance of our God,” about two thousand years had to pass in order to continue reading the passage of Isaiah, chapter 61, verse 1 and on.
We already had a manifestation of the Son of Man in Reverend William Branham; because the manifestation of the Son of Man is the manifestation of Christ in Holy Spirit through human flesh, in a man, in a prophet. “Surely the Lord will do nothing without revealing His secrets to His servants, His prophets.” (Amos, chapter 3, verse 7.) And through prophets, the Word comes to the people; It comes to the prophet first, and through the prophet, the Holy Spirit then speaks It to the people.
That is why God calls Ezekiel: “Son of Man,” because the Word of God came to him, and God manifested Himself in Holy Spirit through him, bringing the Word to the people.
Jesus Christ spoke about the Coming of the Son of Man in the prophetic field, and it was the most important subject of Jesus’ preaching for the Last Day
Reverend William Branham tells us in a quote here in the book of Quotations, which corresponds to the message “Works is Faith Expressed,” page 44 in Spanish, preached on November 26, 1965, (the month prior to his death). And he says: “The Son of Man…” Page 164 of this book of Quotations, paragraph 1465, says[2]:
1465 – “[310] The Son of man will be revealed in a body of flesh, you people, the Church, just exactly like it was before the days of Sodom, a called-out group away from all of them, setting out, believing the promise of God.”
And on page 165 of this book of Quotations, of messages by Reverend William Branham, on page 165, paragraph 1471, these words are taken from the message “Trying To Do God A Service Without It Being God’s Will,” on page 33, from November 27, 1965 (that is, the day after the previous quote), he says[3]:
1471 – “[212] That wasn’t Elijah; That was the Spirit of God on Elijah; Elijah was just a man. Now, we’ve had Elijahs, and Elijahs’ coats, and Elijahs’ mantles, and Elijahs’ everything. But the Elijah of this day is the Lord Jesus Christ. He is to come according to Matthew the seventeen-…Luke 17:30, is, the Son of man is to reveal Himself among His people. Not a man, God! But it’ll come through a prophet. Now, He never had two major prophets at the same time, never, in the world.”
Notice how simple the mystery of the Son of Man is.
And next Sunday’s subject is: “THE DAY OF THE SON OF MAN AND THE WORKS HE WILL DO IN HIS COMING.”
We have already seen that in the Mystical Body of Christ, in His Church, the Day of the Son of Man is the Age of the Cornerstone; and in terms of chronological time, the Day of the Son of Man is the seventh millennium since Adam, in which He will have His final manifestation in the midst of His Church; and Israel, the Hebrew people, will see that manifestation and say: “This is the One we are waiting for.” As simple as that.
The Church of the Lord Jesus Christ has the greatest and most glorious promises relevant to this end time, to receive the faith to be changed and taken with Christ to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb. And it’s the Voice of Christ, the Mighty Angel who comes down from Heaven, crying as when a lion roars and seven thunders uttering their voices, that will give us the faith, the revelation for our transformation, the rapturing faith.
And what does that revelation contain? The mystery of the Seventh Seal, the mystery of the Coming of the Lord to His Church, the mystery of the Coming of the Son of Man to His Church; which caused silence in Heaven, in Revelation, chapter 8, verse 1, when that Seal was opened in Heaven.
Why? Because it’s not prudent for people to know the mystery until the time comes for that mystery to be opened, to avoid impersonators, so that they can’t imitate; because in the days of the Coming of the Son of Man two thousand years ago, there were impersonators such as Theudas and Judas (who came before Jesus); and Jesus said those impersonators who came before Him were thieves and robbers.
All impersonators are considered as such, especially impersonators in the spiritual field; and they will not have a good future. Impersonators have their place, to which they will go at the end of the road (therefore…), and it’s not good for them, and no one wants that ending; not even them.
We always want what is original, what is genuine from God, even if it doesn’t have the attraction that the world likes, the fame, like famous people and all those things.
We want the real thing, what God has promised to give us at this end time; and that is the manifestation of the Son of Man at the Last Day, which will give us the faith to be transformed and taken with Christ to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb, in what Christianity knows as the catching away of the Church or rapture of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ.
We are at the Last Day or seventh millennium since Adam, and we are also at the Day of the Age of the Cornerstone. Therefore, both are the Day of the manifestation of the Son of Man, to give us the faith to be transformed and taken with Christ to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb.
From what we have now heard, we have the introduction to the subject of next Sunday’s Bible School.
So, may God bless and keep you all, and may He open our understanding and the Scriptures to us so that we may understand this mystery of: “THE DAY OF THE SON OF MAN AND THE WORKS HE WILL DO IN HIS COMING.”
Next Sunday, we will see the Works that the Son of Man is promised to carry out in His Coming. I have already told you one of them, which is to give us the faith, the revelation to be transformed and taken with Christ to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb. And that is how the mystery of the Seventh Seal will be opened to the Mystical Body of Christ at the Last Day.
And when we come to know the mystery of the Coming of the Son of Man, we will be getting to know the mystery, of what? Of the Seventh Seal, and receiving the faith to be transformed and taken with Christ to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb.
May God bless you and keep you and be with you all the days of your life, and me too.
Well, may God bless you and keep you. Pray a lot for the service on Sunday, God willing, in which we will touch on the subject that we touched on today as the introduction to next Sunday’s Bible School.
Continue having a happy evening, filled with the blessings of Christ, the Angel of the Covenant. Have a good night.
“THE DAY OF THE SON OF MAN AND THE WORKS HE WILL DO IN HIS COMING.”
