Good afternoon, beloved friends and brethren present, and those in different nations. Special greetings to Missionary Miguel Bermudez Marin and his wife Ruth, and all the ministers there in Venezuela and in other nations with their congregations. May the blessings of Christ, the Angel of the Covenant, be upon all of you who are present and upon all those in other nations, and may He open our understanding and open the Scriptures to us in order to understand the Divine Program pertaining to this end time. In the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
To all the Activists for Peace, you are invited to the meeting of the Global Embassy of Activists for Peace, which will take place an hour and half after the service ends, and it will be broadcasted via satellite and internet for those who will stay here, and also for those in other nations. We will make arrangements here, because there isn’t space for too many people at the Embassy, and those who are going to be there have already been invited; but you can stay here as Reverend Jose Benjamin Perez announced so that you can see what will take place in that meeting.
In these meetings, we will be looking at the reports sent by the coordinators and we will also be sharing all the work goals we will have for the year 2015.
I also want to express my condolences to Pastor Jose Marcano, from Anaco, Venezuela, for the departure of his son Israel Marcano. May God comfort your heart, Reverend Jose Marcano, and may He comfort your wife and your relatives also.
Now let us read a Scripture in Saint Luke chapter 1, verses 26 to 33, it says:
“And in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God unto a city of Galilee, named Nazareth,
To a virgin espoused to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin’s name was Mary.
And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou that art highly favoured, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women.
And when she saw him, she was troubled at his saying, and cast in her mind what manner of salutation this should be.
And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God.
And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name Jesus.
He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David:
And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end.”
May God bless our souls with His Word; may He open the Scriptures to us and our understanding in order to comprehend. In the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
Our subject on this occasion is: “THE HEIR, THE SON OF DAVID.”
The Prince Messiah has four titles of “Son”; and therefore, with every title there is an inheritance. He has the title of “Son of God” and the inheritance is the Heavens and the Earth (the Heir to the Heavens and the Earth). He has the title of “Son of Abraham” and He is the Heir.
That is why two thousand years ago, in Saint Matthew chapter 21, Christ said to them in verse 37 and on (after his triumphal entry into Jerusalem):
“But last of all he sent unto them his son, saying, They will reverence my son.
But when the husbandmen saw the son, they said among themselves, This is the heir; come, let us kill him, and let us seize on his inheritance.
And they caught him, and cast him out of the vineyard, and slew him.”
That was when they took Him or when He was taken to the Cross and was crucified by the Roman Empire and the Roman soldiers, at the request of the leaders of Israel. Then, remember that the Heir is the Prince Messiah, the Christ, the Anointed One.
The inheritance as Son of Abraham is everything God promised Abraham: the land of Canaan, with everything it includes and will include in the future, and everything it will have in the Millennium and throughout eternity. It is the title that pertains to the inheritance of that land of Canaan, which was promised to Abraham (that He would give the land to Abraham and his seed).
Then, we have the promise for the Heir of the Throne and Kingdom of David, which has to do with the Kingdom, the monarchy, to which He is heir, as Angel Gabriel says to Virgin Mary when he says that God will give Him the Throne of His father, David, and that He will reign forever upon the house of Jacob [Saint Luke 1: 32-33]:
“He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David:
And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end.”
That is the Kingdom of the Prince Messiah, which He will begin after the time of Jacob’s trouble, which will be the great tribulation, during which the Scripture says that the Earth will go through the Divine judgments and the Kingdom of the Gentiles will be taken away and then the Kingdom of the Messiah will be established, which will be the restoration of the Kingdom of David and Throne of David, which the Prince Messiah is Heir to, as Son of David. That is the title that goes along with the Messianic Kingdom for Israel, for one thousand years.
In Revelation chapter 3, verse 21 to 22… or verse 20 to 22, it tells us:
“Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.”
Just as Christ sat in the Throne of the Father upon resurrecting and ascending to Heaven, glorified; He sat at the right Hand of God, just as He had said in Matthew chapter 26, verses 64… when He was being judged by the priests. It says… verses 62 and on of Saint Matthew chapter 26:
“And the high priest arose, and said unto him, Answerest thou nothing? what is it which these witness against thee?
But Jesus held his peace, And the high priest answered and said unto him, I adjure thee by the living God, that thou tell us whether thou be the Christ, the Son of God.
Jesus saith unto him, Thou hast said: nevertheless I say unto you, Hereafter shall ye see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven.”
In other words, Jesus Christ knew that He—with His glorified body—was going to sit on the Throne of God. That is the reason why we find that when Stephen was stoned, he said that he saw Jesus Christ seated at the right Hand of God. Notice here in chapter 7 of the Book of Acts, verses 55 to 56:
“But he, being full of the Holy Ghost, looked up stedfastly into heaven, and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing on the right hand of God,
And said, Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of man standing on the right hand of God.”
It happened just as Christ said it would happen. And He Himself tells us in the Book of Revelation, in chapter 3 (which we have read), verse 21… He says:
“To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne (the Throne of the Father, the Throne of God in Heaven).”
And Christ has been seated there since He ascended to Heaven, glorified; and He turned the Throne of God into a Throne of Mercy. He is there making intercession with His Blood for everyone who receives Him as their Savior.
Now, when it says “to him will I grant to sit with me in my throne,” remember that the Throne on which He is seated is the Throne of the Father, but the Throne of Christ is the Throne of David, which He is the Heir to as the Son of David; just as He is heir to all the territory of Canaan as the Son of Abraham.
And in the Kingdom of the Messiah, the Millennial Kingdom, that is where the believers in Christ will literally be as kings, priests and judges. In the meantime, they are as kings, priests and judges in the spiritual realm, in God’s Kingdom. But the Millennial Day is coming, and the Kingdom that will be ruling upon the Earth will be the Kingdom of God, which on Earth is called the Kingdom of David, and the Throne of God on Earth is the Throne of David.
It is very important to know everything related to the Throne of God in Heaven and the Throne of God on Earth.
First Chronicles chapter 29, verses 22 to 23 says (when they made Solomon king for the second time)… It says:
“And did eat and drink before the Lord on that day with great gladness. And they made Solomon the son of David king the second time, and anointed him unto the Lord to be the chief governor, and Zadok to be priest.
Then Solomon sat on the throne of the Lord as king instead of David his father…”
Which throne did Solomon sit on? The Throne of the Lord, the earthly Throne of God, which is the Throne of David. As simple as that.
That throne has been merged with God’s heavenly Throne, and it is guided by God’s heavenly Throne to carry out God’s will on Earth.
In that Kingdom, what Christ promised to His disciples will become a reality. And what did Christ promise in Matthew 19, verses 28 and on? …verse 27 and on of Saint Matthew:
“Then answered Peter and said unto him, Behold, we have forsaken all, and followed thee; what shall we have therefore? (In other words: what will they have in the Kingdom of the Messiah?)
And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.”
In other words, they will be as judges at the twelve doors of Jerusalem. One of the apostles will be at each door. Judas lost that blessing, but it passed onto another person, another apostle.
“And every one that hath forsaken houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name’s sake, shall receive an hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life.”
In other words, receiving Christ as Savior and following Him is the biggest blessing a person can have. It transcends to the Kingdom of the Messiah, everything a person has done by receiving Christ as his Savior and having forsaken the world and everything he has to forsake in order to follow Christ, it all transcends into eternal Life.
The greatest blessing a person can have is to have Christ as his Savior. Christ Himself said in Saint John chapter 10 verse 27 and on: “My sheep hear my voice, and they follow me and I know them, and I give them eternal life; and they shall never perish. My Father, which gave them to me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father’s hand.” [Saint John 10:27-29.]
This is because Jesus Christ is the One who has the exclusivity of eternal Life. God has given us eternal Life and this Life is in His Son, in Jesus Christ.
“He that hath the Son hath life (he has eternal Life); and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life (he does not have eternal Life).”
And the good news is that God has given us eternal Life, and that Life is in His Son, Jesus Christ. (First John chapter 5, verse 10 to 13.)
To believe and receive Christ as our Savior is all gain, it is gain for all of eternity; it is eternal Life. Who else can offer you eternal Life? There is no other person. There is only One and He is Jesus Christ, because He is the only One who has exclusivity of eternal Life, and He is the One seated on the Throne of God in Heaven, He is the Heir to the Heavens and Earth, which we will talk about on another subject we will have such as the “Son of God, the Heir to the Heavens and Earth.” We will talk about that in more detail in the relevant Bible study we will have during this month of January.
Last Sunday we already had the subject “The Son of Abraham*” the Heir to the land of Canaan, the Promised Land, with everything it has and will have in the future. Now, today, we are talking about “The Heir, the Son of David.” These are titles of “Son” that pertain to Christ, the Anointed One, the Prince Messiah who was promised to inherit; and every title of “Son” has an inheritance.
For the next Bible studies we will have the titles of “Son of God”, and also the title of “Son of Man.”
There are things that can’t be said at the moment regarding these titles so that the Divine Program is not interrupted, because all these titles also deal with the Seventh Seal; and therefore, we can’t talk about the entire contents of those titles, but with what we find in the Scriptures and in the messages of Reverend William Branham, I think we will have a clear picture that there are great blessings for me, and for whom else? For every one of you as well.
And we will see where the Tent Vision fits in. After finishing those four titles of Son: “Son of God”, “Son of Man”, “Son of David”, and “Son of Abraham”, we will see where the Tent Vision is found under one of those titles of “Son.” Let us pray a lot so that in the following studies God may allow us to see more details of the Heir: the Prince Messiah as the “Son of Abraham”, “Son of David”, “Son of Man”, and “Son of God.”
Since the day of Pentecost, we have been in the time of the manifestation of the Holy Spirit; Christ in Holy Spirit in the midst of His Church as He promised: “I am with you always, even unto the end of the world.” (Saint Matthew chapter 28, verse 20.)
And Saint Matthew chapter 18, verse 20 also, where it also says: “Where two or three are gathered together in my Name, there am I in the midst of them.” That is in Holy Spirit, which was seen by Saint Paul in a Pillar of Fire, and told him: “Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me? It is hard for thee to kick against the pricks.”
Saul asks: “Lord, who are you?” Because Saul knew that He was the Angel of the Covenant, the Angel of the Lord that had appeared to Moses in the burning bush that would not consume, there on Mount Horeb or Mount Sinai, in chapter 3 of Exodus verses 1 to 16. And He told him: “I am the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the God of your father (in other words, the God of Amram, Moses’ father).”
He has been in the midst of His Church, manifesting Himself from stage to stage, from age to age, through the different messengers that He has sent to His Church. He has been in Holy Spirit as the “Son of God.”
That is why Saint Paul said: “We know no man according to the flesh: and even if we have known Christ according to the flesh, we know Him no more.” [2 Corinthians 5:16.] Saint Paul already knew Him as the Pillar of Fire, the Angel of the Covenant, the Angel of God; He knew Christ as the Holy Spirit, the Pillar of Fire that told him: “I am Jesus whom you persecute.”
The Name is important in each one of those manifestations of “Son” that we are discussing in this study, which has four titles of “Son”, and then we will have the summary of the four titles of Son, of Heir.
It is important that while there is still time, before Christ leaves the Throne of Intercession, before Christ rises from the Throne of the Father, that every person who hears the preaching of the Gospel—if they haven’t received Christ as Savior—takes advantage and receives Him as Savior, because when He rises from the Throne of the Father (where He is the Intercessor), there will no longer be an opportunity for people to repent and receive God’s mercy.
Therefore, if there is anyone who hasn’t received Christ as their Savior yet, you may do so at this time, wherever you are at this time (here or in the different countries that are connected to this broadcast); you may receive Him as Savior. And children ten years of age and older can also receive Him as their Savior. And we will be praying for you so that Christ receives you in His Kingdom, forgives you, and with His Blood cleanses you from all sin, and you are baptized in water in His Name and may Christ baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire, and produce in you the new birth. Therefore, you can come to the front and we will be praying for you.
Let us wait a few more minutes so that those who are in different countries can come to the front, so that they are included in the prayer we will be making; and we also give the opportunity to those who are present and have not yet received Christ, to receive Him as their only and sufficient Savior, and may Christ receive them in His Kingdom.
Our subject today has been: “THE HEIR: THE SON OF DAVID.”
Let us stand up to pray for the people who are receiving Christ as Savior in different nations.
Remember that when Christ finishes His Work of Intercession, then He will manifest Himself as the King, represented in the Lion of the Tribe of Judah, King of kings and Lord of lords, which we will speak about during the next Bible studies we have left regarding the Heir, the Son of God.
“Son of God” and “Son of Man” are the two remaining subjects of “Son.” We have already covered “Son of David” today, and “Son of Abraham” last Sunday.
In the next two subjects we will have, we’ll be seeing how and under what Name of “Son” Christ’s coming to His Church will be at the Last Day, to take Her, to change Her, and take Her with Him to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb.
Let us pray for all the persons who have come to the Feet of Christ from different countries:
Our Father which art in Heaven, Hallowed be Thy Name. Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done in Earth, as it is in Heaven.
Heavenly Father, I come to You with all these people who are receiving Christ as their Savior. Lord, Heavenly Father, in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, receive them in Your Kingdom.
And now repeat this prayer after me, which we will be making for all the people who are receiving Christ as their only and sufficient Savior:
Lord Jesus Christ, I heard the preaching of Your Gospel and Your faith was born in my heart.
I believe in You with all my soul. I believe in Your Name as the only Name under Heaven given unto men whereby we may be saved. I believe in Your first coming and I believe in Your death on Calvary’s cross as the atoning Sacrifice for our sins.
I acknowledge that I am a sinner and I need a Savior, a Redeemer. I give public testimony of Your faith in me and my faith in You, and I receive You as my only and sufficient Savior.
I pray that You forgive my sins, and with Your Blood may You cleanse me from all sin, and baptize me with the Holy Spirit and fire and produce the new birth in me.
I want to be born in Your Kingdom, I want to live eternally in Your Kingdom, Lord. Make the salvation You purchased for me on Calvary’s cross a reality in my life. I need eternal Life, and You are the only One who has it to give to Your sheep who hear Your Voice, and receive You as their Savior and follow You.
I have heard Your Voice, Your Gospel. Receive me in Your Kingdom. Give me eternal Life, Lord Jesus Christ. I pray in Your eternal and glorious Name, Lord Jesus Christ. Amen and Amen.
And now, those who have received Christ as their Savior at this time may ask themselves: “When can you baptize me in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ? Because He said: ‘He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.’” (Saint Mark chapter 16, verses 20… verses 15 to 16.)
Since you have believed in Christ with all your heart, you may be baptized, and may Christ baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire and produce in you the new birth. And we will continue seeing each other throughout eternity in the Kingdom of the Heir: the Lord Jesus Christ, our Savior.
In each country I leave each minister to let you know what you must do to be baptized in water in the Name of the Lord, and in Puerto Rico I leave Reverend Jose Benjamin Perez to conclude.
I will see you next Sunday, God willing, when we will be discussing one of the two subjects we have left. We still need the subject: “Son of Man”, and we need the subject “Son of God.” We will be discussing one of these two next Sunday, which will be applied to the Heir. The heir is always the son whom his father’s inheritance belongs to.
It has been a great blessing for me to be with you on this occasion, speaking to you in this Bible study about “THE HEIR, THE SON OF DAVID”, who is the Prince Messiah, the Anointed One, Christ, who was born through the Virgin Mary.
The promise spoken by the Angel to the Virgin Mary was that He would sit on the Throne of David. In other words, He receives the inheritance of the Throne and Kingdom of David because He is the Heir Son.
May God bless you and keep you, and continue having a happy evening filled with the blessings of Christ our Savior.
And next Sunday, we will have the Bible study of one of these two subjects: “Son of God” or “Son of Man”, and we will be studying until it is appropriate. Always being careful not to speak more than what should be spoken so that there are no imitations; and not speaking less than what should be spoken, so that everyone can understand.
Well, may God bless you and keep you all and continue having an evening filled with the blessings of Christ our Savior.
“THE HEIR, THE SON OF DAVID.”
