The Importance of Worship

Good morning, kind friends and brethren present, and those who are in different nations, ministers and congregations. May the blessings of Christ, the Angel of the Covenant, be upon all of you and upon me as well. In the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.

Saint Paul said in Colossians chapter 3, verses 16 to 17:

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.

And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.”

THE IMPORTANCE OF WORSHIP.”

We come to Church to approach God through Christ and to worship God through Christ, and to praise Him with songs, with psalms, with hymns, which are spiritual songs; and therefore, sacred music. Not adding music to it from worldly songs, but rather, sacred music inspired by God.

Old hymns are also very good, they were inspired —both the lyrics and the music— to believers in Christ who composed them.

David the Psalmist sang to God. Psalms are songs for God in which God is praised, God is exalted, for the works that He has carried out, for the power that He has manifested in favor of His people and God’s love for His people.

In the psalms we also find the Psalmist singing the Law of God, teaching the Law of God, the commandments of God through the psalms, through those spiritual songs.

In other words, just like a preacher (through the Message that he brings, by making known the Word of God) expresses the Divine commandments, teaches the people; one who sings…

Like King David: by singing, he preached God’s commandments, the Word of God, making known God’s will for His people, and making known the history of the people.

The exodus, the time, the deliverance that God carried out there in Egypt, and also the 40 years in the wilderness; he spoke – the psalms of King David and other psalmists spoke about all that.

In other words, through songs the Word of God is taught. That is why songs must —necessarily— have the Word of the Lord.

And this way, the composer, and whoever performs those compositions by singing, and musicians as well, are preaching, expressing the Word of God. And when people listen, the lyrics accompanied by the music are entering the heart.

That is why David the Psalmist, King David, also taught the nations through his songs, which were the psalms; he was also a musician; and he is called “the sweet psalmist of Israel.”1 In other words, he sang well, he sang with love and wholeheartedly; therefore, that reached people’s hearts.

Whoever sings for God must do it wholeheartedly so that it reaches God; otherwise, it only reaches people’s ears and it doesn’t even enter people’s heart, because it doesn’t come out of the heart of the one who sings. But whoever sings wholeheartedly, anointed by the Spirit: it goes from heart to heart, from the person’s heart to God’s heart, and also from the person’s heart to other people.

In Heaven they sing to God, they praise God, they glorify God; and in Heaven one lives in a faster dimension.

Remember that the new birth is not earthly; it is heavenly. Saint Paul, speaking of our citizenship, aware that everyone has a citizenship upon being born on this Earth; but upon being born in the Kingdom of Christ, upon being born again, one obtains or has a heavenly citizenship; that is why Paul the Apostle says in Colossians chapter 1, and also in Philippians… Let’s read Philippians chapter 3, verse 20 to 21:

For our conversation is in heaven…” [The Bible in Spanish reads: “For our citizenship is in Heaven.” —Translator]

Where does it say that it is? That is the citizenship of sons and daughters of God, it is a heavenly citizenship.

The soul of all the children of God has come from Heaven, and now it needs the new birth to obtain the spirit of the sixth dimension, the heavenly or theophanic spirit, or the heavenly or theophanic body; because the order to appear on Earth with Eternal Life is by first passing through the six dimension (the dimension of the heavenly body, theophanic body, spiritual body); and then by taking up or receiving an eternal, immortal and glorified physical body, upon receiving, upon the believers in Christ who died: receiving the resurrection in eternal bodies; and we who are alive: receiving the transformation, in the Coming of the Lord to His Church; which will soon (but we don’t know how many days or years are left) be fulfilled.

For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ…”

Where does He come from? Remember that He is in the seventh dimension sitting at the right hand of God on God’s Throne, and He is there as High Priest, as Intercessor, making intercession with His own Blood for every person written in Heaven, in the Lamb’s Book of Life. He has already been there for about two thousand years, in that position or Work of High Priest after the Order of Melchizedek, there in the heavenly Temple.

Once He has made intercession for the very last one written in the Lamb’s Book of Life, who will complete the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ: He will have finished His Work of Intercession, He will come forth from the Throne of Intercession, and take the Title Deed, the Seven-Sealed Book, which is the Lamb’s Book of Life, which is the Book that contains the names of all the believers in Christ who would receive Him as Savior.

That is the Book of Life, the Book of Eternal Life, it is the Title Deed of Eternal Life; the name of every believer in Christ who would receive Him as Savior is there.

And when He takes that Book, He will do so as the Lion of the tribe of Judah, as the Judge of all the Earth; and He will carry out His Claiming Work, claiming everything He redeemed with His precious Blood.

He will claim all the believers in Him who died, He will transform them; He will claim those who are alive, by transforming them; He will give the dead the resurrection, the eternal glorified body; and then He will also claim the Kingdom of David, Throne of David; and He will claim the whole planet Earth. All of that is still in the future.

We are in a stage in which the believers in Christ are being prepared to be changed at this end time. It goes on to say:

Who shall change our vile body,” (that is, He will transform these mortal bodies), “that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body,” (in other words, so that it may be a glorified and eternal body like the one He has, and young for all eternity), “according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.

It is important to know what the Coming of the Lord is for, why we are waiting for Him: it is for our transformation. And those who died physically, who are in Paradise, are waiting for Him in Paradise to come with Him, for their resurrection in eternal bodies.

Colossians also tells us in chapter 1, verse 12 and on:

Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light,” (the saints in light are the believers in Christ, and they have an inheritance, they are heirs of God; all the inheritance of God belongs to the children of God; and joint-heirs with Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans chapter 8, verses 14 to 39),

Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son,” (He translated us into the Kingdom of Jesus Christ; that is why we are citizens of that Kingdom; our citizenship as believers in Christ is of the Kingdom of Christ, it is a heavenly citizenship),

In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins,” (the redemption is through the Blood of Christ, and the forgiveness of sins through Christ),

Who is the image of the invisible God…”

In other words, He is the image, the heavenly body, called “the Angel of the Covenant” throughout the Old Testament. That Angel of the Covenant, that Angel who appeared to the prophets, is the image of God.

And God said: “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness.”2 In other words, the creation of the human being was: the first part, in a heavenly body; and the second part (the physical part, the physical body), of the dust of the ground; and that’s when man received the image (the heavenly body) and the physical likeness (the physical body of the dust of the ground).

That is why the human being is —physically— a body just like the body of Jesus Christ: feet, arms, a face, and so forth; because Christ in His physical body is the physical likeness of God; and Christ in His heavenly body is the image of God, He is the Angel of the Covenant.

That is why He could say in Saint John chapter 8, verses 56 to 58: “Before Abraham was, I am.” How was He? He was in a heavenly body, He was the Angel of the Covenant, who gave the Law to Moses on Mount Sinai, who had also delivered Israel from bondage in Egypt; it was the Angel of the Covenant, it was Christ in His heavenly body.

And when He says: “Before Abraham was, I am,” notice, He was before Abraham, He was even before Noah, He was even before Adam too. As the image of the invisible God, the Word, “all things were made by Him,” it says in Saint John chapter 1, verses 1 to 18.

In plain words, God in His heavenly body, which is Christ in His heavenly body called the Angel of the Covenant and called “the Word that was with God and was God, and all things were made by Him” (it says in Saint John chapter 1, verse 1 to 18): God through the heavenly body created all things, by speaking all things into existence.

That will be seen again. We saw it partially in some prophets, we also saw it partially in some apostles, and we saw it partially in Reverend William Branham: the creative Word of God speaking into existence and things being created.

We find… through Jesus as well. And that will return to the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ at this end time. And even more so when we are changed: it will be on a greater scale then, without limitations; all those who will be transformed will have the same power of the spoken Word, but there will be a Divine order to be manifested.

Before that, we have seen that manifestation of that creative power of God in the last century, we saw it in Reverend William Branham; and it will be seen again at this end time: in the fulfillment of the Third Pull.

It was seen by Reverend William Branham in a vision. When God showed him the Tent Vision, that creative power was seen being manifested there; and he says that it is going to be manifested, and that will be the Third Pull; which he said that he would not give details about, that everything he saw in that little room, he would take it to the grave. But he saw everything operating, therefore, it will be fulfilled, even if he didn’t give much explanation. He couldn’t give much explanation so that imitators wouldn’t be able to imitate what God is going to do; but God is going to do it at this end time.

Reverend William Branham says on page 136 and 138 of the book of Quotations,3 and page 369 [pp. 424-425 in Eng.] of the book of The Seals, and also page 399 [p. 461 in Eng.] of the book of The Seals, and page 408 [p. 471 in Eng.] of the book of The Seals… that all of that pertains to the ministries of the Two Olive Trees, the ministries of Moses and Elijah which are going to be repeated. In the repetition of those ministries we will see the power of God being fully manifested.

And all of that will shake the whole world, in and among the people and in the midst of the people believing in Christ, which consists of the wise virgins and foolish virgins; and it will also shake the whole world. And therefore, the Hebrews, or the Jews, will see Him and say: “This is what we are waiting for!” But to everything there is a season, there is a time for everything.

In the meantime, well, we work on the things that must be ready for when the time comes for that manifestation.

We already know that it will be in the midst of a Great Tent Cathedral; therefore, the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ will have a Great Tent Cathedral ready for our Lord Jesus Christ and His manifestation of the Third Pull; She will have a people believing in what has been promised, and working so that what has been promised may be fulfilled. Because God works through His Spirit in His Church; and through His Church —and in His Church— He will fulfill what He has promised.

We have great promises for this end time: we have the promise that the faith to be transformed and raptured will be given to the Church; and this will revolve around the Coming of Christ for the Last Day, with a New Name, as it is mentioned in the Scripture.

Therefore, the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ will be the One that will recognize Him in His Coming at the Last Day, because He will come with a New Name. It’s there in the Scripture: Revelation chapter 3, verse 12, He says that He has a New Name; and if He says so, that’s the way it is.

Because if the One who has It says that He has It… who is going to say that He can’t have It? If He says that He has a New Name, He has It.

And even Reverend William Branham said in the book of The Seals, page 131 [p. 151 in Eng.], that He comes with a New Name, and that It will be revealed to the Church, and that the Thunders will reveal that mystery; because the Thunders will give all the believers in Christ the faith to be transformed and raptured.

So, there are great blessings for all the believers in Christ; and those blessings that pertain to the end time will lead us to the goal, to the goal of Christ and to our goal, which is our transformation, and the catching away or rapture of all the believers in Christ, to go to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb.

In the meantime, we continue working in the Work of the Lord, around every promise made for the Church. And just as many conquered God’s promises in past times, we will conquer every promise relevant to this end time: By working on it, believing them with all our heart.

And remember that this is how God’s promises are materialized: There will always be someone who will believe them; and together with him: the believers in God’s promises who will be working; and Christ, through His Spirit, working through that person and those people to fulfill what He has promised; because our hands are the Lord’s hands, to work on this Earth.

And all those who have received Christ as Savior, from the time of the apostles until our time, have been baptized in water, according to the commandment of the Lord; because in water baptism, the person identifies himself with Christ in His death, burial, and resurrection.

That is how simple the symbolism, the typology of water baptism in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ is; and it is a commandment of the Lord Jesus Christ through the Spirit of Christ that was in Jesus, which was also in the apostles, and He commanded to baptize all those who were receiving Christ as their only and sufficient Savior; and that is how it will continue until the very last elect, member of the Church of Jesus Christ, comes into the Kingdom of Christ. When the last one is baptized, then it will end for the Church of the Lord.

We don’t know if later, from that point on, others will be baptized, even if they go through the great tribulation; but for the Church, well, when the last one is baptized, then it has ended for the Church there. Whether it continues afterwards for the foolish virgins and for other people, we will see when the time comes. In the meantime, we continue receiving Christ, the Gospel continues to be preached, and those who receive Christ as Savior continue to be baptized in water in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ.

God bless you and keep you all.
