Good morning, kind friends and brethren present, and those who are in other nations, ministers and churches. It is a great blessing for me to be with you on this occasion, and to hear the announcement that our commitment with the bank, regarding the land where the Great Tent Cathedral is being built, is now paid off. That is a success. And we are grateful to all of you who are present, and also to the ministers from different nations, different countries, and their congregations, their churches, who have been supporting this project of the construction of The Great Tent Cathedral.
Everything has been a miracle. God has put these properties in our hands for the service of God. Therefore, we thank Him, and we appreciate and thank all the ministers and their congregations, for the assistance and support they have been giving, are giving, and will continue giving The Great Tent Cathedral in Puerto Rico, and the construction project and the different properties here in Cayey, Puerto Rico.
A work is being carried out for the benefit of everyone; in other words, the work that is being carried out is done as a team, in which God has been blessing us greatly, and will continue blessing us.
May God bless all those who have been, are, and will be working in the Divine Program pertaining to this end time, to all those who have been supporting this project of The Great Tent Cathedral, and may He prosper everyone greatly and bless you with earthly and heavenly blessings, spiritual blessings for everyone, for each person’s soul. In the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
We know that the blessing that God said to Abraham passes on to Abraham’s seed; both to Abraham’s seed as the Hebrew people (Israel), as well as Abraham’s seed, the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, because all the believers in Christ are Abraham’s seed. God said to Abraham: “Those who bless you or he who blesses you, will be blessed; but he who curses you, will be cursed; those who bless you will be blessed and those who curse you will be cursed.”
There we find how there is a blessing for the people who bless Abraham and Abraham’s seed. I will give you the quotation so you have it… Chapter 12 of Genesis, verse 1 and on, says:
“Now the Lord had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father’s house, unto a land that I will shew thee:
And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:
And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.”
There is a blessing for those who bless Abraham and his seed; but there is also a curse for those who curse him. Notice the way to receive a blessing in this regard, and the way that some receive a curse.
Now, let’s read in Revelation chapter 19, verses 11 to 16; and chapter 19, verse 19. Chapter 19, verse 11 and on, says:
“And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.
His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.
And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.
And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.
And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.
And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, King Of Kings, And Lord Of Lords.
And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God;
That ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and bond, both small and great.
And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army.
And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.
And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh.”
May God bless our souls with His Word and allow us to understand It. Our subject for this occasion is: “THE KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.”
A few days ago, we were speaking about the four Son titles of the Lord, of the Messiah.
• Son of God: heir of the Heavens and the Earth. Under each title of Son, there is an inheritance, something that is inherited under that title of Son of the Messiah.
Son of God: heir of the Heavens and the Earth.
• Son of Abraham: heir of all the land that God promised to give Abraham for an inheritance: Palestine, the entire territory that God mentioned at that time, which is much more than what the Hebrews currently have.
Son of Man and Son of David.
• Son of David: heir of the Kingdom of David and Throne of David, as mentioned to the virgin Mary, that she would have a child and God would give Him the Throne of His father David, and He would reign forever.1
• And the other title is Son of Man. Under the title of Son of Man, the inheritance is the planet Earth along with everything it has and everything it will have in the future, and everything it had in the time of Adam before the fall.
For this reason, Christ, the Messiah, the Anointed One, will come at the Last Day to His Church as Son of Man and Son of David; and therefore, Rev. William Branham says in the Book An Exposition Of The Seven Church Ages, page 23:
“It was now time for God (Messiah) to come back to claim His bride and then present Himself (make Himself known) to Israel. Thus we see God again stepping forth to assume a physical relationship to man as the ‘Son of David, King of Kings and Lord of Lords, and Bridegroom of the Gentile Bride.’”
The Second Coming of Christ is as King, and therefore, as Son of David; and in order to manifest Himself as Son of David He must then come as Son of Man. In plain words: in the manifestation of the Son of Man promised for the Last Day will be the title, not only of Son of Man, but also the title of Son of David; and therefore, King of kings and Lord of lords, to reign over Israel and over all the nations for a thousand years and then for all eternity.
That is how He will manifest Himself as King of kings and Lord of lords according to Revelation chapter 19: “And He has on His vesture and on His thigh a Name that no man knows, but He Himself.” And it says that the One that sat on that white horse, whom John the Apostle saw in Heaven: “He that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war [verse 11].” So, He also comes as Judge.
“He is clothed…” Verse 13:
“And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.”
Then verse 16 says:
“And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, King Of Kings, And Lord Of Lords.”
And it says that His Name (verse 13), that only He knew that Name. He has a Name written: “… and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself [verse 12].” That is the new Name which Christ speaks about in Revelation chapter 3, verse 12, where He says:
“Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name.
He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.”
Notice, it is the Holy Spirit, Christ in Holy Spirit, who is saying that He has a new Name, and that He will write It upon the Overcomer.
Just as the First Coming of Christ had a name, God’s Name for Redemption, God’s human name for redemption; the Second Coming of Christ will have a name: the Name of God, the Name of the City of our God, the new Name of the Lord. That is what Rev. William Branham speaks about in the book The Revelation Of The Seven Seals, page 151, where he says:
“283 And, Jesus, His Name on earth was ‘Redeemer,’ Jesus. When He was on earth, He was the Redeemer, that’s true. But when He conquered death and hell, and overcome them, and ascended on High, He received a new Name. That’s the reason you holler the way they do, and they don’t get nothing.
284 It’ll be revealed in the Thunders. Uh-huh. See? Notice the mysteries. He is coming, riding… There’s got to be Something to change this Church. You know that. There’s got to be Something. Notice, ‘No man knowed, but Himself.’”
Something has to come. And what has to come? The white-horse Rider with a new Name that no one understands, written on His vesture and on His thigh. That is the Coming of the Lord before the Millennium; He comes as King of kings and Lord of lords, with the Name of the City of our God, the Eternal Name of God, and new Name of the Lord.
And there are people who don’t know this and expect things a certain way; but the things of God, and especially the Coming of the Lord to His Church, must be expected the way it is promised in God’s Word.
Notice, Rev. William Branham also says, on page 154 of the book of The Seals:
“302 Glory! Notice! And when this Holy Spirit that we have becomes incarnate to us, the One that’s in our midst now in the form of the Holy Ghost, becomes incarnate to us, in the Person of Jesus Christ, we’ll crown Him King of kings.”
We have a very great promise there.
From the day of Pentecost and on, up to our time, Christ has been in the midst of His Church in Holy Spirit, for He said: “I will be with you always, even unto the end of the world.” Saint Matthew chapter 28, verse 20. And Saint Matthew chapter 18, verse 20, says: “Where two or three are gathered together in My Name, there am I; I will be there.” In other words, He will be with the believers in Him wherever they are gathered. And how will He be there? In Holy Spirit.
And now, what was the First Coming of the Lord? The Holy Spirit incarnate in a veil of flesh called Jesus. That is why we find that He said in Saint Luke chapter 4: “The Holy Spirit is upon Me, because He has anointed Me,” and He began to explain what He had been anointed for.
The Second Coming of Christ, the Coming of Christ to His Church, according to the words of Rev. William Branham here, is the Coming of the Lord manifested in the midst of His Church to give us the faith to be changed and taken with Christ to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb.
The Coming of the Lord to His Church is the greatest mystery of all mysteries, because it is promised that It will be as a thief in the night;2 in other words, It will be a secret to His Church.
Rev. William Branham, speaking about the Coming of the Lord to His Church, says… And remember that this is the mystery of the Seventh Seal of Revelation chapter 8, verse 1, which, when that Seventh Seal was opened in Heaven, caused silence for about half an hour. It is the mystery of which Christ said that no one knew the day and hour, not even the angels;3 and He even said: “Neither does the Son know;”4 but after Christ resurrected, He then knew that mystery.
Now, pages 15 to 16 of the message “Christ Is The Mystery Of God Revealed”5 preached by Rev. William Branham on July 28, 1963, at the Branham Tabernacle, in Jeffersonville, Indiana, in North America, he says:
“106 God’s great mystery, of how, it’s a secret. He kept it a secret. Nobody knowed nothing about it. Even the Angels didn’t understand it. See, He didn’t reveal it. That’s the reason, under our seventh mystery, when the Seventh Seal was opened, there was silence,” (in other words, silence for about half an hour). “Jesus, when He was on earth, they wanted to know when He would come. He said, ‘It’s not… Even the Son Himself don’t know when it’s going to happen.’ See, God has this all to Himself. It’s a secret. And that’s the reason there was silence in Heaven for a space of a half hour, and seven thunders utter their voices, and John was even forbidden to write it, see, the Coming of the Lord. That’s one thing He hasn’t revealed yet, of how He will come, and when He will come. It’s a good thing that He doesn’t. No.”
How will He come? And, when will He come? That is the greatest mystery in the entire Bible: the mystery of the Second Coming of Christ, the Coming of Christ to His Church. He comes secretly as a thief in the night, and He says: “Behold, I come quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give every man according to his work.”6
The world won’t see, won’t understand, won’t comprehend the mystery of the Coming of the Lord to His Church; only His Bride-Church will obtain that revelation through the Voice of Christ, the Mighty Angel coming to His Church, and thundering, crying as when a lion roars, and Seven Thunders uttering Their Voices. (Revelation chapter 10, verses 1 to 11).
Notice what Rev. William Branham says here: page 148, near the bottom of this page, in the book of The Seals, he says:
“[258] Oh, my! Seven Thunders of Revelation! May He show the Bride how to prepare for the great translation faith!” (That rapturing faith, the Thunders).
And the Thunders are the Voice of Christ, the Mighty Angel, the Angel of the Covenant; that is why He comes with a rainbow around His Head, which is the Covenant; and He comes to His Church in Revelation chapter 10.
And on page 70, speaking to us about this Mighty Angel, who is Christ, it says [The Seals]:
“[29] ‘… I saw another mighty angel come down from heaven, clothed with a cloud: and a rainbow… upon his head…’
30 If you notice, that’s Christ, see. Cause, He, in the Old Testament, was called the Angel of the Covenant. And He is directly coming to the Jews now, for the Church is finished. See? All right.
…and his face…as it were the sun, and his feet as pillars of fire:
31 You remember that Angel in Revelation 1? Same thing. Angel is a ‘messenger.’ And He’s the Messenger to Israel. See? The Church has been raptured, see, now, or fixing to be raptured. He comes for His Church.”
The Mighty Angel, the Messenger to Israel, the Angel of the Covenant; who gave Moses the Law for the people there on Mount Sinai; who is later made flesh and dwells among the Hebrew people in a body of flesh called Jesus; and after His death, resurrection, and ascension to Heaven, He comes down in the form of the Pillar of Fire to the place where 120 believers in Christ were gathered in the upper room, and He fills those people with the Holy Spirit; tongues like as of fire – tongues of fire rested upon each believer.7 And the Angel of the Covenant has been in the midst of His Church at all times; and millions of human beings have been entering into the New Covenant; with the Angel of the Covenant who has been calling and gathering His elect, all those who are written in Heaven, in the Lamb’s Book of Life.
This Mighty Angel who comes down from Heaven with the little Book open in His Hand, is Christ, the Angel of the Covenant, who at the last supper with His disciples said, breaking the bread and giving it to His disciples, after giving thanks: “Eat of it all of you, for this is My body.” And taking the cup of wine and giving it to His disciples, after giving thanks to the Father, He said: “Drink of it all of you, for this is My Blood of the New Testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.”8
In other words, He is showing that His Blood is the Blood of the New Testament or Covenant, therefore, God will not accept, require or accept, the blood of animals; there will already be a perfect Blood of a perfect Sacrifice that Jesus Christ will carry out on Calvary’s Cross, for the remission of the sins of all the sons and daughters of God.
And now, Christianity has been waiting—since the day of Pentecost—for the Second Coming of Christ; and the Jews didn’t believe nor receive the First Coming of Christ; but they will receive the Second Coming of Christ. Saint Matthew chapter 23, verse 37 to 39, says:
“O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not!
Behold, your house is left unto you desolate.
For I say unto you, Ye shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.”
In chapter 21 of Saint Matthew He had already had His triumphal entry, where children and followers of Jesus, His disciples and other people, sang: “Hosanna to Him that comes in the Name of the Lord! Blessed is the King who comes!” But the people as a nation and their religious leaders rejected Him.
But at the Last Day, He comes as King of kings and Lord of lords to claim His Throne and His Kingdom to which He is the heir as Son of David, who is King of kings and Lord of lords; and the Jews will see Him, they will recognize Him; but the moment will come, and 144,000 elect, chosen, 12,000 of each tribe, will receive Him.
That is yet to happen; but first we need to see that Rev. William Branham says that He comes for His Church; He comes for His Church first and then He will reveal Himself to the Jews.
When the Jews see the Lord coming for His Church, they will say: “This is the One we are waiting for;” because they will see Him in that stage of the Third Pull, in the full manifestation of God in the midst of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, where His Church will be receiving the faith to be changed and raptured, taken with Christ to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb.
They will be receiving that faith as they hear the Voice of Christ, the Mighty Angel who comes down from Heaven, crying as when a lion roars and Seven Thunders uttering their Voices. The Message contained in the Seven Thunders will be the Message that will give the believers in Christ who will be living at the end time the faith to be changed and raptured.
And what will the Voice of the Seven Thunders contain? It will contain the revelation of the Second Coming of Christ as King of kings and Lord of lords, as the Son of Man and Son of David in His Claiming Work.
By that time, He will conclude the Work of Redemption, the Work of Intercession in Heaven, and He will manifest Himself in all His fullness in the midst of His Church; and what we saw temporarily manifested in Rev. William Branham, will be manifested in all its fullness: God’s creative Word being spoken at the Last Day, and things happening through the Word.
“THE KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.” He is the One who comes in Revelation, chapter 19. But the beast and the image of the beast will rise against the Lamb, the King of kings and Lord of lords, who will have changed from Lamb to Lion; and there will be a showdown there, according to Revelation, chapter 17 and chapter 19. For in chapter 17 of Revelation… We read in chapter 19… chapter 19, verse 19, says:
“And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army.”
The One who sits on the white horse of Revelation 19 is the Messiah, Christ coming; and the ones who come with Him are the believers in Christ who died in past ages in… coming in the resurrection with glorified bodies, and those who are alive being changed.
In chapter 17 it also speaks to us about all those things that will happen at this end time, in that very important stage that the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ will be going through. Chapter 17, verse 14 says:
“These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful.”
Those are the believers in Christ of our time and the ones of past ages who will resurrect in glorified bodies, and we who will be alive will be changed; and then we will be glorified like Jesus Christ. And once we are all glorified, the services will be youth services; all young people representing 18 to 21 years of age. And that will be for a time period of forty days, just like when Christ resurrected He was with His disciples for forty days, appearing to them and also teaching them the Scriptures, and performing miracles as well.
In other words, He continued and He has continued in His Church the Work that began two thousand years ago, and He continues to manifest Himself in Holy Spirit in His Church, because He is the same yesterday, today, and forever;9 He is the Angel of the Covenant, He is the image of the living God, He is the Word that was with God and was God;10 and the Word will become flesh again at the Last Day. That is what Rev. William Branham says on page 295 of the book of The Seals, it says… paragraph 196 of the page, says:
“196 But when our Lord appears here on earth, He’ll be riding on a snow-white horse. And He’ll be completely, fully, the Emmanuel, the Word of God incarnate in a Man.”
And that will be Christ as Son of David, as King of kings and Lord of lords; and that will be the manifestation of the Son of man in the midst of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ at the Last Day, to give us the faith to be changed and taken with Him to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb.
I was taking a quick look at a message that I was… a conference that I was giving some years ago, in the year 1980, titled: “The Day of the Son of Man,” and I was taking a quick look at it, and I will continue to look at it to see everything that was spoken in that time regarding “The Day of the Son of man.”
Since that time, since the decade of the 70’s, we have been speaking about this subject, or even since the decade of the 60’s; but more abundantly from the decade of the 70’s to our time. And we will continue speaking about that subject until we receive the faith to be changed and taken with Christ to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb.
God will allow us to understand, He will open the Scriptures to us and also our heart and our understanding so that we understand and believe, and thus obtain the faith to be changed and taken with Christ to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb.
All of this will become a reality in the fulfillment of the Vision that Rev. William Branham had about a Great Tent Cathedral; where he says that the Third Pull was being manifested there, and that that would be the Third Pull (what would be happening there).11
So, there is a great blessing for the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, there is a great blessing for the believers in Christ our Savior, and then the blessing will go on to the Hebrew people.
“THE KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.” That is the Son of man and Son of David. The Messiah as Son of David and Son of man, that is the King of kings and Lord of lords.
I leave Rev. José Benjamín Pérez with you here in Puerto Rico, and in each nation I leave the relevant minister.
May you all continue having a happy afternoon filled with the blessings of Christ our Savior.
