Let us read in Saint Mark chapter 1, verses 14 to 15. And it says the following (referring to John the Baptist and Jesus). It says:
“Now after that John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God,
And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.”
May God bless our souls with His Word, and may He open the Scriptures to us and open our understanding in order to comprehend. In the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
Jesus said: “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.”
“THE KINGDOM OF GOD IS AT HAND.” That is our subject for this occasion.
When it speaks about God’s Kingdom on Earth it is referring to God’s Kingdom with the Hebrew people, which was established in the days of Moses, who was God’s instrument; and from there on, we find that God’s Kingdom was with Israel, it was administered by the Angel of the Covenant, the Holy Spirit, through the prophet Moses, and then also by Joshua, then by the other judges of Israel, and lastly, by the last judge: Samuel.
Then an interlacement was made between theocracy (with the judges) wherein God reigned in the midst of Israel through a man; now a man would reign for God in the monarchy.
It began with Saul, at the request of the people who wanted to have a king like the other nations that had kings. King Saul was a king according to the heart of the people, but he was appointed by God, because God would appoint who they would have as king, and this was according to the Scripture.
Chapter 19, verses 5 to 6 of Exodus says that the people would be a Kingdom of priests; and then in Deuteronomy chapter 17, verses 14 to 20, God says:
“When thou art come unto the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee, and shalt possess it, and shalt dwell therein, and shalt say, I will set a king over me, like as all the nations that are about me;
Thou shalt in any wise set him king over thee, whom the Lord thy God shall choose: one from among thy brethren shalt thou set king over thee: thou mayest not set a stranger over thee, which is not thy brother.”
God is telling him that when the time comes, they will want to have a king like other nations, but they will not be able to choose their king. God would point out the man who they should anoint as king. And Saul was the king that God indicated to Samuel to anoint and present him before the people as king, and anoint him. And the people became very glad and said: “Long live the king!”
That is what they wanted. They wanted the monarchy, in other words, a man reigning for God, and they rejected theocracy, where it was God reigning through a man, as He reigned through Moses, Joshua, and the rest of the judges until Samuel.
That is why when the people asked for a king, Samuel was saddened and prayed to God. God said to him: “They have not rejected thee, but they have rejected me, that I should not reign over them.” They wanted a man to reign over them instead of God reigning over Israel through a man.
And now, the change from theocracy to monarchy comes, and the first one of the kings failed God in obeying what God commanded him to do. The judges acted according to God’s orders, because it was God reigning through the judges.
Saul was rejected and God said to Samuel, who was the instrument God used to make that transition from theocracy to monarchy… God said to Samuel that He had rejected Saul, and he told him that He had a man, a person whom He would put in Saul’s place, which was a young man named David, a shepherd of sheep, a composer, a singer-songwriter, a musician. They used to call him “The Sweet Psalmist of Israel.” A man who had inspiration, a young man with inspiration for the musical compositions he dedicated to God.
We have the Psalms, many of them composed by King David, who was also a musician. The music was so perfect that even the evil spirits would leave Saul. In other words, he would cast out evil spirits through music.
There is a mystery in music, and one day it will be revealed. Music comes from Heaven. Although on many occasions and in different generations it has been corrupted, and it has been producing negative effects, but one day—and above all in God’s Kingdom on Earth which is the Kingdom of the Messiah—music will be the correct music for all human beings by decree of the King, and there will be one teaching.
It says that “in that day shall there be one Lord, and his name one.” There will not be many gods, only one God and only one Name. The Scripture also says how all of this will be known. I quoted to you Zechariah chapter 14, verse 9, which pertains to the Kingdom of the Messiah, wherein the Lord will be one and one His Name.
And Habakkuk chapter 2, verse 14, says: “For the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea.” That makes reference to what God said through Prophet Isaiah in Chapter 11, verse 9. In other words, the Earth will be filled with the knowledge of the Coming of the Lord in glory for the establishment of His Messianic Kingdom, which the Messiah the Prince is Heir to; He will be a prophet like Moses, according to Deuteronomy chapter 18, verses 15 to 19.
Therefore, He will be a prophet like Moses. Why? Because He has different titles for different manifestations, different tasks and different stages of His Program.
For instance, the Messiah the Prince is represented in Joseph. Therefore, there will be a Joseph, a son of Jacob, who obtains the Birthright Blessing, which is given to his children Ephraim and Manasseh (especially to Ephraim). Manasseh represents the Jews and Ephraim represents the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ. Christ will make Himself known to Israel in His Coming, as Joseph did with his brothers.
And there will also be an Isaac, the promised son. As the Son of Abraham, He is the heir, the heir to the Land God gave to Israel when they entered into the Promised Land.
Remember that when Abraham was going to die, he distributed his inheritance, and He gave Isaac everything, and he gave gifts to the rest of his children.
And there is also the title of Son of David. As the Son and Descendant of David He is Heir to the Throne and Kingdom of David. That is why when the Archangel Gabriel appeared to the Virgin Mary in Nazareth, he brought her good tidings. Saint Luke chapter 1, verse 30 and on, says:
“And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God.
And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name Jesus.
He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David:
And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end.”
That kingdom and throne in which and which Solomon inherited… it says that it is God’s Throne and God’s Kingdom… First Chronicles chapter 29, verse 22 to 23, says:
“And did eat and drink before the Lord on that day with great gladness. And they made Solomon the son of David king the second time, and anointed him unto the Lord to be the chief governor, and Zadok to be priest.
Then Solomon sat on the throne of the Lord as king instead of David his father, and prospered; and all Israel obeyed him.”
Which throne did Solomon sit upon? He sat on the Throne of God, of the Lord, instead of David, because God’s Throne, for the Kingdom to be administered on Earth, is called: the Throne of David.
That is God’s earthly Throne. And from that Throne, which the Messiah the Prince inherits, the government of the Millennial Kingdom will be carried out. Therefore, there will be a David, and there will be a Son of David. As Son of David, the Messiah the Prince is the Heir to that Throne, and therefore to that Kingdom.
Revelation chapter 3, verse 20 to 21, says:
“Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.”
Just as it happened with Jesus Christ, who overcame, who died, was buried, and resurrected victoriously and ascended to Heaven and sat on God’s heavenly Throne, as He said He would, because He knew the entire Divine Program. That is why He could speak about the things that would take place, about the things He would carry out, and the things God would do with Him and through Him.
Notice, when He was being judged by the Sanhedrin Council, led by the High Priest, in chapter 26, verses 63 to 64 of Saint Matthew, it says:
“But Jesus held his peace, And the high priest answered and said unto him, I adjure thee by the living God, that thou tell us whether thou be the Christ, the Son of God.
Jesus saith unto him, Thou hast said: nevertheless I say unto you, Hereafter shall ye see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven.”
And in Revelation 3, verses 21, says that He sat with the Father in the Throne. And when Stephen was stoned, he said that he saw the Heavens opened, and he saw Jesus Christ sitting at the right Hand of God. [Acts 7:55-56.] That is what God did with Jesus when He ascended, already resurrected and glorified, and sat at God’s right Hand.
He who sits on the Throne is the one who has the power. That is why in Saint Matthew chapter 28, verses 16 to 20, Jesus said (having been resurrected, but before being raptured): “All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.”
That is why under His administration of God’s heavenly Kingdom, He is manages the entire heavenly government. The hosts, powers, angels, cherubim, everything is subjected to Him, because everything is subjected to the one seated on the Throne.
He is seated at God’s right Hand in the heavenly Kingdom, in the heavenly Throne, which He turned into a Throne of Mercy.
And since He is the one who has all power in Heaven and on Earth, He said: “To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne.” [Revelation 3:21.] What Throne is He is referring to? To David’s Throne, because that is the Throne He is heir to here on Earth. And just as the Father in Heaven has Him sitting on His Throne and ruling over all of Creation through Him, Christ will do the same from His earthly Throne.
That is David’s Throne which will be restored. The Messiah the Prince will sit on the Throne of David and rule over Israel and over all the nations for one thousand years and then throughout eternity.
But after the Millennial Kingdom the two Thrones, the two Kingdoms will unite, because God’s heavenly Kingdom will be placed on Earth. And the Earth will be the center of the Government of God’s Kingdom according to Revelation chapter 21 and 22.
Now, just as there are signs for different things in life, for the Coming of the Kingdom of God, Christ also said: “There shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the Earth… Men’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth.”
Saint Luke chapter 21, verse 25 and on, says:
“And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring (the sea and the waves roaring, this is referring to seaquakes and tsunamis)<em>;
Men’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth (all those environmental problems which the Earth will have): for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.”
And let’s pause here to see what Saint Paul said with regards to this in chapter 12 of Hebrews, verse 25 and on:
“See that ye refuse not him that speaketh…”
In other words, the Angel of the Covenant, Christ, the Holy Spirit, who has been speaking from the Day of Pentecost until the present time; and He will speak again in this end time.
Where has He been speaking? In His Church. And from His Church He has been speaking to all humanity through the different instruments He has sent and raised among His Church.
“…for if they escaped not who refused him that spake on earth, much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from him that speaketh from heaven:”
And the Holy Spirit is the One who speaks from Heaven, is Christ in Holy Spirit manifesting in the midst of His Church.
“Whose voice then shook the earth: but now he hath promised, saying, Yet once more…”
See? “Once more.” Just as Samson said: “Lord, once more.” Once more, one more time.
“…Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven.”
Christ spoke about this in the reading we have in Saint Luke chapter 21; but notice, Saint Paul sheds more Light on this when he says:
“And this word, Yet once more (See? Saying: “Yet once more,” has a meaning), signifieth the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain.
Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved…”
Remember that the believers in Christ have received a Kingdom that cannot be moved, they have been translated from the kingdom of darkness to the Kingdom of Light, the Kingdom of the Son of God, the Kingdom of Christ.
Therefore, in His Church the Kingdom of the Lord is being fulfilled in the spiritual sphere, but it will also be manifested physically with the establishment of the Messiah’s Millennial Kingdom. But first comes the spiritual part followed by the physical part in the Millennial Kingdom.
It is like the redemption, just as we have been redeemed, and this spiritual sphere is the one that corresponds to the new birth, wherein we have obtained an inner change, and then the redemption of the body will come, which will be our transformation, in order to physically enter into God’s Kingdom with physical eternal Life, in young and glorified bodies for all eternity.
“Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear:
For our God is a consuming fire.”
What has been prophesied for humanity in the end time is terrible, but what is prophesied for the believers in Christ is glorious.
And just as God spoke on Earth from Mount Sinai, and the Mountain was shaking and the trumpet sounding, and God was speaking with Moses, and Moses with God. Now, we have not approached Mount Sinai, we have approached God’s Mountain, the heavenly Jerusalem, and an innumerable company of angels. Therefore, that is the place where God’s Voice would be speaking to His people of the New Covenant, which are the born again believers in Christ.
Hebrew chapter 12, verses 18 and on, says:
“For ye are not come unto the mount that might be touched, and that burned with fire, nor unto blackness, and darkness, and tempest,
And the sound of a trumpet, and the voice of words; which voice they that heard intreated that the word should not be spoken to them any more:
For they could not endure that which was commanded, And if so much as a beast touch the mountain, it shall be stoned, or thrust through with a dart:
And so terrible was the sight, that Moses said, I exceedingly fear and quake:
But ye are come unto mount Sion…”
And remember that there is a promise for Mount Zion; and Mount Zion spiritually is the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ under the New Covenant), and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels,
To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven,” the Firstborn are the ones who make up the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, whose names are written in Heaven or in the Heavens. “…And to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect,
And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel.”
And now, the Voice that has been speaking on the spiritual Mount Zion, which is the Church, in the spiritual Jerusalem, which is the Church, and among an innumerable company of angels, “to the general assembly and among the general assembly of the firstborn written in Heaven,” is the Voice of the very own Angel of the Covenant that appeared to Moses on Mount Sinai and gave him the tablets of the Law for the Hebrew people, thus giving them Israel’s Constitution.
That same Voice has been speaking through the different prophets of the Old Testament. It spoke through Jesus, It spoke through the apostles, and through every one of the Angel messengers in the midst of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, which is the people of the New Covenant sprinkled with the Blood of Christ our Savior; no longer with the blood of animals, but with the Blood of the Lamb of God, which is Jesus Christ our Savior.
He has redeemed us with His Blood, He has cleansed us from all sin, and has made us kings and priests unto God. “And we will reign over the Earth,” says Revelation chapter 1, verses 5 to 6; Revelation chapter 5, verses 9 to 10; and Revelation chapter 20, verses 4 to 6.
Now, we have a Kingdom of kings, priests, and judges with the Supreme Judge, which is Jesus Christ, with the King of kings and Lord of lords, who is Jesus Christ; and with the High Priest according to the Order of Melchizedek, who is Jesus Christ. Therefore the believers in Christ belong to the Priesthood Order of Melchizedek.
That is why when people are prayed for, they have Christ as the High Priest to whom they make their prayers and their petitions, and they are granted: “And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do,” Christ said. As in Saint John chapter 14, verses 26; Saint John chapter 15, verse 26, Saint John chapter 16, verse 7 and on, and it is in other places in the Scripture as well
The Kingdom… in Saint Matthew chapter 21, verse 43, it says:
“Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof.”
“Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the Kingdom of God, of the Kingdom of Heaven,” said Christ to the believers who followed him. That is why Christ’s believers are kings, priests, and judges in the Kingdom of God.
That is why the Scripture tells us in Colossians chapter 1, verses 12 and on, that we have been translated from the kingdom of darkness unto the Kingdom of His beloved Son, the Kingdom of Christ.
That is why God’s inheritance passes to Christ, and from Christ to His believers, because Christ is the Heir to all Creation. The title that pertains to Him as the Heir to all Creation is the title of Son of God. As Son of God He is Heir to the Heavens and the Earth.
Therefore, His believers will be in His Kingdom as kings, priests and judges. In First Corinthians chapter 6, verse 1 to 3, Saint Paul says: “Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world and even the angels?” Why? Because they are judges. They belong to the Judicial Power of God’s Kingdom.
Remember that in Melchizedek’s Order, Melchizedek is the Judge, the Priest and the King, and these titles are within the title of “Son of God”. And the believers as children of God are also joint-heirs to all these blessings.
Romans chapter 8, verse 14 and on, says that we are heirs of God and joint-heirs with Jesus Christ our Lord.
Everything Christ is Heir to, we, His believers, are heirs to as well. And what is Christ heir to? All things: the Heavens and the Earth, all of Creation. And therefore, we are joint-heirs with Him.
It is a Kingdom of priests, kings, and judges; it has the Judicial Power, the Spiritual Power—or religious power, as they may call it—and the Political Power of the Kingdom.
When Christ was here on Earth in His First Coming, He identified Himself as the Son of Man. As Son of Man He is Heir to the entire planet Earth, including everything there is and will be on the planet Earth. And that is why as the Son of Man, being Heir to the Planet Earth, He will place His Throne on Earth in Jerusalem. It will be the Throne of David, and His Kingdom will be called the Kingdom of David. That is what Ezekiel chapter 37, verses 15 to 28* speaks about; and Ezekiel chapter 34, verses 21 to 29.
Where it says He will raise up David, it will be the Messiah the Prince, the Son of Man, who has the title of Son of David to take the Kingdom and Throne, and reign over Israel and over all the nations, for He also has the title of Son of Man, which represents Him as the King of the entire planet Earth. He is the King of kings and Lord of lords. (Revelation chapter 19, verses 11 and on.)
These titles of Son of God, Son of David, Son of Abraham, and Son of Man are tied to God’s Kingdom on Heaven and Earth; they cover everything. And as Son of Abraham, He is Heir to all the Promised Land given to the Hebrew people, with all the annexations or extensions that the territory will have in the Millennium Kingdom.
When John the Baptist, the forerunner of the First Coming of Christ, appeared, he—and then Jesus—would say: “Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.” [Saint Matthew 3:2.]
Remember, they were living in the time of the seventh messenger, forerunner of the First Coming of Christ, with the Spirit and power of Elijah, and then the promised One came, for whom John was preparing the way. And he was part of the family, they were relatives according to the flesh, they were cousins, because Mary and Elizabeth were relatives.
The forerunner and the One who was forerun came to the people who were under the Covenant in effect at that time. And the Coming of the Lord for the Last Day will be for the people who will be in the New Covenant, which began since the crucifixion of Christ, of which Christ said: “For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.”
The people that will be under the New Covenant, covered with the Blood of the New Covenant is the one with the promise of the Coming of the Son of Man with power and glory in His Kingdom. That means that He will come to His Kingdom, to His Church, in the Last Day with power and glory, just as the lightning that comes out of the East, at the First Coming of the Son of Man.
When it speaks about the Son of Man, it is referring to the manifestation of God through a prophet. That is why Christ would identify Himself as the Son of Man: a prophet like Moses, in whom God dwelt in all His fullness, fulfilling the Scriptures pertaining to the First Coming of the Messiah.
For the Last Day, Christ says in Saint Luke chapter 21, verse 27:
“And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.
And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.”
Our redemption is our transformation, the redemption of the body that Saint Paul speaks about in Romans chapter 8, verses 23 to 25. That is the physical adoption as sons and daughters of God, entitled to a physical, immortal, and glorified body like the physical, immortal, and glorified body God has; a body like the one God has, which is the body of Christ, glorified, in which God dwells and manifests Himself.
That is why Christ said: “All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.” [Saint Matthew 28:18.] Any one may think: “Was God left without power?” No, because God is in Christ, He is manifesting His Power through Christ, who is the High Priest in Heaven and someday His Work of Intercession will end and then He will be the Lion of the Tribe of Judah, the King of Kings and Lord of Lords, and Judge of all the Earth.
As the Lion, He is the King, the Lion of the Tribe of Judah, the Heir to the Kingdom and Throne of David, the One who takes and has David’s Key to open that Program, to open that Millennial Kingdom.
Christ says in Saint Matthew chapter 24, verse 27:
“For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.”
It comes out of the East, the land of Israel, where the Coming of the Son of Man took place two thousand years ago, and then it will shine in the West: “and shineth even unto the west.” In other words, the West has a great promise of a great manifestation of the Son of Man.
In Reverend William Branham, the forerunner of the Second Coming of Christ, there was a great manifestation of the Son of Man; because when it speaks about ‘Son of Man,’ it is referring to a prophet in whom God is being manifested and fulfilling His promise.
And he says: “The Son of Man is Christ, but He needs a veil of flesh, which will be a prophet, in order to manifest Himself, ” in the messages of Reverend William Branham. Pages 23, 31-32 and page 34 of the message “I’ve Heard but now I See”, an excerpt of which is in the Book Quotations of Reverend William Branham
That is why in Reverend William Branham we saw the Word made flesh, the Word being spoken, and the fulfillment of it as a sample of what will happen later on in the fulfillment of the Tent Vision that was shown to Reverend William Branham, where he said that the Angel told him: “This will be the Third Pull.” And he saw the Pillar of Fire that had appeared to Moses and guided the Hebrew people, and which came upon the believers that were in the Upper Room on the Day of Pentecost, and has since remained in the midst of His Church.
It is Christ in Holy Spirit in the midst of His Church. And He saw Him whirling away over a small wooden room, and then he saw the things happening there. And the Angel said to Him: “This will be the Third Pull, and you won’t tell it to nobody.” [Message: The Seventh Seal, paragraph 299, preached March 24, 1963, Jeffersonville, IN.]
This is in the secret contained in the Seven Thunders of Revelation, which contain the mystery of the Seventh Seal, the mystery of the Coming of the Lord to His Church.
That is why at a certain time in the Divine Program, in the midst of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, great things will happen which are humanly impossible, but there is nothing impossible for God. Everything is possible for God and everything is possible for he who believes.
In the West… the same Light that shined there [in the East], and said: “I am the light of the world,” will also shine here in the West, at the Last Day. It will be the Coming of the Lord to His Church as a thief in the night, because humanity is in darkness, in night (humanity that is) but for the believers in Christ there will be Light, a Light that will give us the faith to be changed and taken with Christ to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb.
The Light of the Coming of the Son of Man shining as the lightning in the West will give us all these blessings. And He said: “When these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads to Heaven.” To have our minds and hearts connected with Heaven, to God’s things, and to come up to the stage or age that pertains to us, which is the Golden Age of the Church, the Age of the Cornerstone, the Age of the Most Holy Place of the spiritual Temple of Christ, to hear the Voice of Christ showing to us all these things that must shortly come to pass.
Revelations chapter 4, says: “Come up hither.” That is what the Voice that he heard said after the Voice he heard in each age.
After the ages, the Voice is in a higher place, in the Age of the Cornerstone, which will tell us all the things we must know in order to have the faith and revelation to be changed and taken with Christ to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb.
Since the days of the Reverend William Branham, forerunner of the Second Coming of Christ, the Kingdom of God has been at hand.
And here in Saint Luke chapter 21, verse 29 to 33, it says:
“And he spake to them a parable; Behold the fig tree, and all the trees (in other words, Israel and all the other nations).
When they now shoot forth, ye see and know of your own selves that summer is now nigh at hand.”
Remember that summer is the time for harvest, the harvest of the wheat to be placed in God’s garner, in God’s Kingdom with eternal Life, and eternal and glorified bodies.
In the parable of the wheat and tares in Saint Matthew chapter 13, verses 30 to 43, it says: “And he shall send His Angels and they shall gather together (what?) his elect.” They will gather the wheat into the garner, in God’s Kingdom. Those are the ministries of the Two Olive Trees, the ministries of Moses and Elijah, which will be in the midst of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ in the Kingdom of God, which is the Church in the spiritual realm and then with the Jews.
“…Summer is nigh (it is the time for the harvest and therefore it is the Kingdom, the Kingdom of God is near).
So likewise ye, when ye see these things come to pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand.”
The Kingdom of God in the days of Jesus, He said: “The Kingdom of God is at hand.” And on one occasion He said: “The kingdom of God is within you.” The King was there, the Son of David.
The Kingdom of God is at hand at this time, since the days of Reverend William Branham; it is near. Spiritually: in the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ (in the spiritual realm), and soon they will be physically glorified, physically entering God’s Kingdom with eternal and glorified bodies.
Since the Kingdom of God is at hand, Christ said: “Repent ye, and believe the gospel.” [Saint Mark 1:15.] And once again the Kingdom of God is at hand, in our time.
If someone has not yet received Christ as Savior, you may do so at this time and we will be praying for you so that Christ receives you in His Kingdom, forgives you, and with His Blood cleanses you from all sin and may you be baptized in water in His Name and may Christ baptize you with Holy Spirit and fire, and bring forth the new birth in you. Therefore, you may come to the front and we will be praying for you.
And for those who are in other nations, you may also come to the front of the church or auditorium where you are so that you are included in the prayer we will be making for those receiving Christ as their only and sufficient Savior. And children ten years of age and older can also come to the Feet of Christ our Savior.
God has many people in the Republic of Mexico, and He is calling them in this end time to place them in His Kingdom.
The most important thing for the human being, and what the soul of the human being desires the most is eternal Life, where we will not suffer as we do in these earthly bodies.
Christ said: “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give unto them eternal life.” [Saint John 10:27-28.]
He commanded the preaching of the Gospel to every creature in order to give us eternal Life. He came two thousand years ago to give us eternal Life and died for us on Calvary’s Cross to give us eternal Life, abundant life: eternal Life. And He is the only One who can give us eternal Life.
Therefore, all human beings need Christ as our only and sufficient Savior. He is the only one who has the exclusivity of eternal Life to give to those who receive Him as their only and sufficient Savior.
Faith comes by hearing God’s Word, the Gospel of Christ being preached. “And with the heart we believe unto righteousness, but with our mouth confession is made unto salvation.” [Romans 10:10.]
That is why people are given the opportunity to publicly confess Christ as their only and sufficient Savior. For what? For the salvation of the soul.
Our soul is the most important thing we have, because we are living souls that live in these earthly bodies for a period of time, and then we have to leave the physical body, because there is another stage in the life of the individual. And that new stage the individual goes through… since the individual is a free moral agent, he either accepts or rejects the opportunity that God gives him to receive eternal Life and go to God’s Paradise to live there in a heavenly body while the resurrection of the believers in Christ takes place, which will be in earthly and glorified bodies.
There is no other hope for the human being. There is only one, and that is Jesus Christ, who said: “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” Said Christ our Savior. [Saint John 14:6.]
There is no other way that can take the human being to God, there is no other truth nor is there any other life. Only Christ has eternal Life to give to all those who receive Him as only and sufficient Savior.
That is why He said: “Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.” [Saint Mark 16:15-16.]
Since the individual has free moral agency, either he believes to be saved, or he does not believe and he will be condemned. He will be condemned for not believing, but he will be saved for believing. It is as simple as that.
But by believing in Christ, he will be saved, and for not believing in Christ (those who do not believe in Christ) will be condemned. In other words, there are not many options to choose from. There are two things to choose from and we have the opportunity to pick one out of the two: either we choose Christ for eternal Life, or reject Christ to be condemned and not have the ability to live eternally.
Let us stand up to pray for the people who have come to the Feet of Christ on this occasion.
With our heads bowed and our eyes closed:
Our Father which art in Heaven, Hallowed be Thy Name. Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done in Earth, as it is in Heaven.
Heavenly Father, I come to You with all these people who are receiving Christ as their only and sufficient Savior, here and in other nations. Receive them in Your Kingdom, I pray to You in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
And now, those who have come to the Feet of Christ on this occasion, repeat this prayer after me:
Lord Jesus Christ, I heard the preaching of Your Gospel, and Your faith was born in my soul, in my heart.
I believe in You with all my soul, with all my heart, and with all my strength. I believe in Your First Coming and I believe in Your Name as the only Name given under Heaven whereby we must be saved. I believe in Your Name in that way, and I believe in Your death on Calvary’s Cross as the Sacrifice of Atonement for our sins.
I acknowledge that I am a sinner and I need a Savior, a Redeemer. I give public testimony of my faith in You and of Your faith in me, and I receive You as my only and sufficient Savior.
I pray You forgive my sins and with Your Blood may You cleanse me from all sin, and may You baptize me with the Holy Spirit and fire after I am baptized in water in Your Name, and may You bring forth the new birth in me. I pray to You in Your eternal and glorious Name, Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
Now you may say to me or ask me: “When can I be baptized? Because I heard the preaching of the Gospel of Christ, and the faith of Christ was born in my soul, in my heart.”
Water baptism does not take away sins, it is the Blood of Christ that cleanses us from all sin, but water baptism is a commandment of the Lord Jesus Christ in which the individual identifies with Christ in His death, burial, and resurrection.
When an individual receives Christ as Savior, he dies to the world, and when the ministers immerses him in the baptismal waters, he is typologically being buried, and when he is lifted from the baptismal waters, he is resurrecting unto a new life: eternal Life with Christ in His eternal Kingdom.
That is why Christ commanded baptism in water in His Name for everyone who would receive Him as only and sufficient Savior. Although it is typological, it is a commandment of the Lord Jesus Christ, which has been kept and practiced since the days of the apostles until our time.
Therefore, you may indeed be baptized; and may Christ baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire and bring forth the new birth in you. We will see each other eternally in the Kingdom of Christ our Savior, because the Kingdom of God is at hand.
I leave the minister with you to let you know what to do to be baptized in water in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, and in each country I leave each minister to do the same, wherever you may be.
It has been a great privilege to be with you on this occasion, testifying to you that: “THE KINGDOM OF GOD IS AT HAND.”
Thank you very much and have a good afternoon. May God continue blessing you all.
“THE KINGDOM OF GOD IS AT HAND.”
