The Messianic Age

Thank you very much, missionary Miguel Bermúdez Marín. Good afternoon to everyone, fellow ministers in the mystical Body of Christ our Savior. It is a great blessing to be with you on this occasion, to share some minutes of fellowship with you around the Word of God and His Program pertaining to this end time.

I greatly appreciate the support you are giving to the project of The Great Tent Cathedral in Puerto Rico; I believe you have already heard Rev. José Benjamín Pérez.

Now, let’s read in Isaiah chapter 61, verse 1 to 3, which says:

The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me; because the Lord hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;

To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn;

To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that he might be glorified.”

May God bless our souls with His Word and allow us to understand It.

THE MESSIANIC AGE.” That is our subject for this occasion.

This passage speaks to us about the Coming of the Messiah and it marks the Divine cycle of the Coming of the Messiah, which is the Age of the Cornerstone.

In the days of John the Baptist, who was the messenger forerunner of the First Coming of Christ, of the Coming of the Messiah, the seventh age of the Hebrew Church under the Law was being lived out, with John the Baptist as the forerunner and messenger of that stage of the Hebrew Church under the Law; and then, with his Message, he prepared the people to welcome the Messiah when He was introduced to Israel, who had to be introduced by John with his Message which he had received from God.

And on one occasion when he is speaking about the Coming of the One who would come after him, he says: “I knew Him not.”1 Yet he knew Him. In human terms, He was a descendant of the house of David, He was born through the virgin Mary,2 who was a cousin of John the Baptist’s mother, Elisabeth;3 but he didn’t know that the Coming of the Messiah would be fulfilled in one of his family members.

In other words, they could say they were brothers, they were family; and let’s think, Mary represents the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ. The forerunner also came from a religious family, he was a believer in the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the son of a priest.

Now, John the Baptist was forerunning the Coming of the Messiah and he didn’t know it was Jesus. Perhaps they had played together as children, but he didn’t know that the Coming of the Messiah was going to be fulfilled in his cousin.

John the Baptist preached preparing the way of the Lord filled with the Holy Spirit, which he had received when the virgin Mary visited Elisabeth there in the hill country of Judea.4 The Scripture said that the Angel Gabriel told Zacharias that the child he would have would be filled with the Holy Spirit even from his mother’s womb.5

Now, John announced that the Messiah would come, and on one occasion he said: “There stands One among you, whom you know not.”6 “I baptize you with water, but He shall baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with Fire.”7

In other words, in the days of John the Baptist, since he was the forerunner, he understood that the Messiah would come, that the Coming of the Messiah would be fulfilled in those days. The Message of the forerunner is the One that prepares the people, the Message of the forerunner is the One that introduces the Messiah; and the Coming of the Messiah is fulfilled according to the Message brought by the forerunner, which is based on all the prophecies that speak of the Coming of the Messiah for that time.

When John hears that they tell him: “Look, now the One you… the One to whom you bore witness, more people follow Him than you,” John said: “He must increase, and I must decrease.” And he also said: “He that has the Bride is the Bridegroom, and the friend of the Bridegroom must… and the friend of the Bridegroom rejoices because of the Bridegroom’s Voice,”8 in other words, because of the Message that Christ was preaching, which is the Bridegroom’s Voice for Israel; because Israel was the Bride-Church of God that would receive the Coming of the Messiah.

Remember that the Scripture says that God is the Bridegroom of Israel, their Husband. Now, the Husband coming in human flesh in the Person of Jesus was with the Bride: Israel, speaking the Word to Israel.

And John rejoiced. Others perhaps were filled with jealousy already, saying: “Now we are following John, and now this Jesus is coming to take the disciples away from John.” But it had to be that way. The disciples of the forerunner are called to be prepared to receive the One who comes after the forerunner, to hear His Voice and be prepared in that Messianic stage or age, which in the days of Jesus was the time of the ministry of Jesus.

That was the Messianic Age, the Age of the Cornerstone, because the Messiah was there, and therefore, the Headstone was there, the Cornerstone, which the builders, the religious leaders, would reject.

Now, since the prophecies relevant to the First Coming of the Messiah and His forerunner John the Baptist are fulfilled in Israel, everything that happens with Israel under the Old Covenant is later repeated under the New Covenant, where it is materialized; because back then we had the shadow, the type and figure, and then in the New Testament we have the reality of the types and figures.

The Hebrew people had the paschal lamb, the Church has Christ, the Paschal Lamb that died for us. And so on and so forth, everything Israel had in their sacrifices was the shadow, the type and figure, of the Sacrifice of Christ which would be carried out there in the First Coming of the Messiah, in that Messianic Age, where three and a half years of the seventieth week were already fulfilled; and three and a half years of dealing with the Hebrew people under the Messianic Age remain.

Now, for the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, the Messianic Age is the Age of the Cornerstone, where Christ, the Angel of the Covenant, will appear, to bring – to carry out the Claiming Work and redemption of the body of the believers in Christ who died, resurrecting them in glorified bodies, and to transform our bodies, for us who are alive at this end time.

Therefore, we will wait patiently, we will take care of our health; because even though it is good to die in Christ (to die being a believer), to live and continue living as a believer, and to be transformed without seeing death, is much better, because it gives us time to work more in the Work of the Lord.

Because those who leave beforehand, then look over here from there and say: “It would have been so good if I had stayed on Earth working, because I see them working, carrying out all these tasks that if I were on Earth I could also be working on.”

Things look better here from over there, than what we can sometimes see here. We see a lot of work here, they see a lot of blessings; and they would like to be with us but they have already left; they can no longer do anything for us, nor for His Work; their labor in the Work already ended.

But now we have the blessing in the Messianic Age, the Age of the Cornerstone, for which the forerunner came preparing the people to enter into that Messianic Age and receive the blessings there are in that Messianic Age.

Remember that those who entered into the Messianic Age of the days of Jesus were the ones who and with whom the Dispensation of Grace began. And with those who enter into the Messianic Age of the Cornerstone at the Last Day, the Dispensation of the Kingdom will begin with them and that is where all the foundations of and for the Kingdom of the Messiah on Earth will be laid. As simple as that.

We already have there—in the First Coming of Christ—what happened, which shows that there will be a repetition in the Second Coming of Christ, sending the forerunner; who came and left already. And according to the Message of the forerunner, such will be the fulfillment of the Second Coming of Christ.

The First Coming of Christ was to the people who were under the Old Covenant, which was Israel, the people of the Old Covenant, the Church of the Old Covenant. And now the Second Coming is for the Church of the New Covenant, of the New Testament. And just as God sent a forerunner to the Church of the Old Covenant: John the Baptist, He sent a forerunner to the Church of the New Covenant, which was Rev. William Branham, in whom the Spirit of God operated the ministry of Elijah for the fourth time.

And what will the Second Coming of Christ be like? As it was said by the Holy Spirit through the forerunner of the Second Coming of Christ; such will be the Coming of the Son of Man with His Angels at the Last Day, such will be the Coming of the Son of Man with Moses and Elijah, such will be the Coming of the Son of Man at the end time, in the Messianic Age, for the ushering in of the Millennium. Because the Seventh Seal, the Coming of the Lord, is what ushers in the Millennium.

The book of The Seals, on page 540 and 541, says:

231 We must remember that this Seventh Seal is the end of time, of all things. That’s right. The things written in the Seven-Seal Book, sealed up, of the plan of redemption from before the foundation of the world, it every bit ends. It is the end; it is the end of the struggling world. It’s the end of struggling nature. It’s the end of everything. In there, it’s the end of the Trumpets. It’s the end of the Vials. It’s the end of the earth. It’s the…It’s even the end of time.

232 Time runs out. The Bible said so. Matthew, the 7th chapter…I mean, Revelation, the 7th cha-…10th chapter and the…and 1 to the 7th verse. Time runs out. The Angel said, ‘Time will be no more,’ when that, in the days of this great thing to happen.

233 Everything runs out, in this time, the end of the—of the…at the end of this Seventh Seal. Notice. It’s the end of the church age. It’s the—the end of the Seventh Seal.”

It’s the end of the Church age and it’s also the end of the Seventh Seal.

[233] …at the end of this Seventh Seal.”

See, at the end. If It has an end, well, that’s because It had a beginning.

[233] …at the end of this Seventh Seal. Notice. It’s the end of the church age. It’s the—the end of the Seventh Seal. It’s the end of the Trumpets. It’s the end of the Vials, and even end the ushering in of the Millennium. That’s on the Seventh Seal.”

And further down (on page 540, paragraph 234), he says It is like a rocket that is fired; one of those fireworks for local and Christmas festivities, when they launch those fireworks and when they explode, they blow out a lot of little stars into the air, like that.

He says:

“235 That’s, what, the Seventh Seal. It just ends the time for the world. It ends the time for this. It ends the time for that. It ends the time for this. It ends the time. Everything just ended up on that Seventh Seal.

236 Now, how is He going to do it? That’s what we don’t know. Isn’t it? We don’t know.

237 It’s even the time for all these things, and the ushering in of the Millennium.”

In other words, the Seventh Seal will have a beginning and an end; just like the First Coming of Christ and His ministry had a beginning when He was baptized by John the Baptist, and after 40 days of fasting, His ministry began; and it ended on Calvary’s Cross.

Now, on page 549 it says… of the book of The Seals:

“[304] Notice now, for the end-of-time Message, this Seal,” (in other words, this Seventh Seal). “After all, He—He has revealed all the six Seals, but He don’t say nothing about the Seventh. And the end-time Seal, when It starts, will be absolutely a total secret,” (when It starts, but he also speaks about the end of the Seventh Seal), “according to the Bible, before knowing That. And remember, Revelation 10:1-7, 1 to 7, chapter 10:1 to 7, ‘At the end of the seventh angel’s Message, all the mysteries of God would be known.’ We’re at the end time, the opening of the Seventh Seal.

305 Now, how did I know? The other day, last Sunday, a week ago today, when I was preaching on ‘Be humble! Be humble! Remember, God deals in little things.’ I didn’t realize what it really was talking about. And now I see it. It is in such a humble way! You would think that something like that would be revealed to the Vatican or…But It comes just like John the Baptist. It comes like the birth of our Lord, in a stable. Glory to God! So help me, the hour is at hand! Amen! We’re here.”

In other words, there will be a beginning of that stage of the fulfillment of the Second Coming of Christ, and there will be an end of that manifestation; it will have a beginning and an end. Just as the First Coming of Christ in His ministry had a beginning and an end.

Therefore, let’s be prepared because something great is promised to happen in the midst of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ; just like everything related to the First Coming of Christ happened in the midst of the people and with the people who were under the Covenant relevant to that time, who were under the Covenant of the Law.

And now, the Second Coming of Christ will be with the people who are under the New Covenant, covered with the Blood of Christ our Savior; not with the blood of animals anymore, but with the Sacrifice of Christ our Savior.

We are at a very important time. The forerunner already came and left. And just like back in the Old Covenant they went from one stage, from one age to another, until they reached the age of John the Baptist, the seventh stage, and then they went on to the stage of the Cornerstone; and in – under the New Covenant, the Church has been going from age to age, coming up from age to age until the stage of the forerunner of the Second Coming of Christ, the seventh messenger of the Gentile Church; and after that comes the stage of the Cornerstone, which we must come up to; because the Church has been coming up from age to age, the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ our Savior comes up from one age to another.

On page 37… I think everyone should have the book of Quotations and the book of The Seals and Ages, because that is the Message of the forerunner for all the believers in Christ, the Message that foreruns the Second Coming of Christ; and if you don’t know It, you will lose the blessing of seeing at the Last Day, in the Messianic Age, the Coming of the Lord. Likewise, those who didn’t have the Message of John the Baptist: lost the blessing of the Coming of Christ two thousand years ago. On page 37, paragraph 311, he says [Quotations] [60-0522E – “Adoption #4,” p. 10]:

311 “34 Now, notice, then the Coming of the Lord Jesus is so close at hand until the Spirit from way down in here…just barely justification, sanctification, baptism of the Holy Spirit, and now right into the time of the coming of the Headstone…”

See? The Lutheran age, the Wesleyan age, It keeps on going up, the Pentecostal age; and then the Age of the Cornerstone.

311 – “[34] … now right into the time of the coming of the Headstone.”

And where will the Headstone come to? Well, to the Age of the Cornerstone, the Messianic Age.

311 – “[34] The Church has got to be so perfectly like Christ until Christ and the Church can unite together, the same Spirit. And if the Spirit of Christ is in you, It makes you live the life of Christ, act the life of Christ, do the works of Christ. ‘He that believeth on Me, the works that I do shall he do also.’ Jesus said that. See? Now we’re going to have, we got a ministry coming that’s just exactly like the life of Christ. What does that ministry identify? The Coming of the Lord. (…)

[36] Look at the Lutheran church under justification, coming just so freshly from Catholicism, look at it moving. Then look at Wesley coming a little closer, into sanctification, weaving into the Scriptures. Look at right in between, the Wesley. Then the next thing come in was the Pentecostal age. And the Pentecostal age with the restoration of the gifts, the spiritual gifts. Now, look at the age coming now right up to the Headstone.”

Who was the one that spoke of the Headstone, of that Age of the Cornerstone? The forerunner.

311 – “[36] See what I mean? The Coming of the Lord, the made known. God and all creations is waiting for the church to positionally find its place.”

And what is the Church’s place for the end time? The Messianic Age, the Age of the Cornerstone, the Age of and for the Coming of the Lord to His Church, to give us the faith to be changed and raptured, and taken to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb. That is our age.

We are not of the Lutheran age, although the Lutheran age reflected, things were reflected in it that will be manifested in the Messianic Age. We are not of the Wesleyan age, we are not of the Pentecostal age; therefore, we are neither Lutheran, nor Wesleyan, nor Pentecostals. As simple as that.

We are of the Messianic Age, of the Age of the Cornerstone, of the age where the Coming of the Lord is promised to be fulfilled coming as Lion, as King of kings and Lord of lords, and Judge of all the Earth; to claim everything He has redeemed with His Blood, and carry out the redemption of our body, which is our adoption physically as children of God, being changed and being young for all eternity, with glorified bodies just like the glorified body of our beloved Lord Jesus Christ; and thus we will have the physical likeness of the Lord.

The image is the heavenly body and the likeness is the glorified physical body. Therefore, that is what is promised for me, and for who else? For each one of you as well.

Therefore, let’s be prepared, so that the promise of the Coming of the Messiah in the Messianic Age, the Age of the Cornerstone, doesn’t go over our heads.

Rev. William Branham, on page 119 of the Book of Quotations [paragraph 1058: 63-1229E – “Look Away To Jesus,” p. 7, paras. 50-52], says that he will not die of old age until He’s here. He would currently be… about 106 years old, Miguel? Up to our time, he would be 106 years old; quite an elderly age. But he says that he would not die of old age, because of his age, until He’s here. In order to grasp what he thought, we have to see how many years he thought he could live on Earth or how many years was the amount in which the human being lives and which he thought he could reach.

On one occasion he says: “My father died at so many years old, I already passed that age;” and he thought… – in other words, that his departure was close.

So, what is promised in the Scripture to be the Coming of the Lord as King of kings, Lord of lords, Judge of all the Earth and Lion of the tribe of Judah, is more simple.

But tomorrow we will speak more clearly, if we can, because that is the mystery of the Seventh Seal, which has a moment for It to be opened, in order to give the believers the faith to be changed and taken with Christ to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb; and that mystery will be opened exclusively in the fulfillment of the Third Pull.

And the fulfillment of the Third Pull will be in a Great Tent Cathedral that was shown to Rev. William Branham;9 that is why we desire so much for the Tent Vision to become a reality, which will bring great blessings for all the believers in Christ and then for the Hebrew people as well.

“THE MESSIANIC AGE.”

In order to see everything that is promised and then to see it as it is being fulfilled, one must be where? In which age? In the Messianic Age, the Age of the Cornerstone.

Therefore, the first thing is to know where we are, where we have to be to see the Coming of the Messiah at the Last Day; the Coming of the Messiah, the Coming of the One anointed with the Holy Spirit at the Last Day.

THE MESSIANIC AGE.”

That is the place where we have to be, and that is the Age of the Cornerstone, the Age of the Throne, the Age of the Most Holy Place of the spiritual Temple of Christ; the age where the Ark of the Covenant had to be placed at the end time, the age to which Christ will come in His Second Coming to dwell in His Church in all His fullness. And that will be the Coming of the Lord at the Last Day.

Just as He came to the tabernacle that Moses built and dwelt between the cherubims of gold, upon the mercy seat, which is the cover of the ark of the covenant, where the Word of the Lord was and where the two cherubims of gold were.10

And in the temple that Solomon built, when he dedicated it: the Presence of God, the Pillar of Fire, the Angel of the Covenant, came and dwelt upon the mercy seat, between the two cherubims of gold;11 and there were also two giant cherubims of olive wood there, overlaid with gold,12 and the ark of the covenant was there with the tables of the Law too. And God dwelt there.

The Coming of the Lord was there, the Coming of the Lord to the tabernacle that Moses built, the Coming of the Lord to the temple that Solomon built, the Coming of the Lord to Mount Sinai, to the top of Mount Sinai as well, and the Coming of the Lord to Israel, to Jerusalem.

And the Coming of the Lord to His Church at the Last Day: at the top of the Mountain of God, which is the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ and is the Age of the Cornerstone, the Messianic Age of the Kingdom of Christ, the Messianic Age of and for the Coming of the Lord to His Church.

And how do we know that it will be in that age and not in the past ages? Because the Coming of the Lord was not fulfilled in the past ages, rather, It is for the Age of the Cornerstone; that is how It was represented in the tabernacle that Moses built, the temple that Solomon built. And therefore, it must be in that Most Holy Place of the Church, which is the Age of the Cornerstone, because the other seven ages pertain to the Holy Place of the Church. As simple as that.

THE MESSIANIC AGE.”

Therefore, the Message that will come forth from the Messianic Age will be the Messianic Message of the Coming of the Lord, the Message of the Seventh Seal for all the believers in Christ, and then for the Hebrew people.

It has been a great privilege for me to be with you this evening, testifying to you about “THE MESSIANIC AGE.”

Tomorrow we will be gathered again to continue talking about the Divine Program for our time, where we will be talking about the subject: “PREPARING OURSELVES TO ENTER INTO THE PROMISED LAND.” The promised land of the glorified physical body, which is the one that will make us fit to go to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb; because in these physical bodies we cannot be transported to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb; it must be in a body that is glorified, eternal, immortal, incorruptible, just like the glorified body of Christ our Savior.

May God bless you and keep you; and onward, always working, and praying, and supporting the construction project of the Great Tent Cathedral; because it is a project with Divine Promises, it is in God’s Program, and which transcends to the Kingdom of God. And we will all be rewarded for what we do in favor of the Divine Program.

Remember that the rewards are according to what we do for the Divine Program in the Work of the Lord; that is what transcends in the Kingdom and to the Kingdom of God: the works that we do in favor of the Program of Christ.

May God bless you and keep you, and continue having a happy evening, filled with the blessings of Christ our Savior.

I leave missionary Miguel Bermúdez Marín with you to continue, and thus conclude our participation; and we will see each other tomorrow, God willing.

Pray a lot so that God gives us everything we need to know, and so that He gives it to us on time, in order to be prepared for our transformation.

Here we have missionary Miguel Bermúdez Marín to continue… he holds on like that because he always waits for dessert. As we sometimes say: he has a “sweet tooth,” he likes candies a lot; but I think what we have already said is enough… I will speak to you about this again later, tomorrow, God willing.

Remember that the First Coming of Christ was in the East, who said: “I am the light of the world,”13 the Sun, the Second Coming of Christ. Just as the First Coming of Christ was in the East to the people of the Middle East, Israel; then the Second Coming of Christ is to His Church, for the Marriage Supper of the Lamb. And supper is always in the evening. And the territory that pertains to the morning is Israel, and the one that pertains to the evening is Latin America, the continent of the Americas.

The continent of the Americas is the one to which the evening time pertains; and that is why God’s blessing for the end time pertains to the West, and that is why our age emerges, where? In the West.

May God bless you and keep you, and let’s leave Miguel here, because the dessert is getting bigger than the dinner.

God bless you, Miguel, and… Onward, Miguel, may God bless you; and may God bless each one of you and use you greatly in His Kingdom at this end time.

God bless you, Miguel.
