The Morning Star

Good morning, beloved friends and brethren present, and also ministers and their congregations in different cities in Mexico, and also in other countries. Greetings to Missionary Miguel Bermúdez Marín as well, there in Brazil.

For this occasion, let’s read in the book of Revelation, in chapter 2, verse 26 to 29. And it says the following:

“And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations:

And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father.

And I will give him the morning star.

He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.”

Our subject for this occasion, for our Bible study today, Sunday, is: “THE MORNING STAR.”

God created the Heavens and the Earth, He placed the sun, and the moon, and the stars, as signs of the times;¹ therefore, the Divine Program that He has been carrying out among human beings is reflected in the stars. That’s why we also find that individuals are represented in the stars.

For example, the sun represents Christ, the Sun of Righteousness, as Malachi chapter 4, verse 2, tells us: “Unto those that fear My Name shall the Sun of Righteousness arise with healing in His Wings.” That’s why Jesus also said: “I am the Light of the world; he that follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.”²

In other passages of the Bible (like in Daniel chapter 12) we find that the righteous will be like the stars of heaven. The sons and daughters of Abraham, the seed of Abraham, are represented in the stars of heaven; as God told Abraham: “Your seed will be like the stars of heaven.” And He said: “Look at them, and count them if you are able to number them. So shall your seed be.”³ The seed of Abraham is uncountable.

There are people in different countries who don’t even know that they are descendants of Abraham; that’s because the seed of Abraham has spread to all the nations. And in the Seed of Abraham, Christ, all the nations would be blessed; the blessing of Abraham would come to all the nations for salvation and Eternal Life.

Now, in this promise made here in the passage that we read, which says: “And I will give him the morning star.” What does that mean? That the Holy Spirit, Christ in Holy Spirit, will give the Morning Star to the Overcomer, to a person.

In Revelation chapter 22, we read the following… Chapter 22, verse 16, of Revelation, says:

“I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.”

And now, we find that at the end time the Overcomer will receive the Morning Star, Christ in His Second Coming. He is the Light of the world, He is the Morning Star, He is the Angel of the Covenant, He is the Holy Spirit in the midst of His Church, who said: “I will be with you always, even unto the end of the world.” Saint Matthew chapter 28, verse 20. And He also said in chapter 18, verse 20, of Saint Matthew: “Where two or three are gathered together in My Name, I will be there.”

In other words, Christ in Holy Spirit in the midst of His Church is the Morning Star. And now, the believers in Christ are also stars, and the messengers of Christ in the midst of His Church, from age to age, from stage to stage, are the stars in the right hand of Christ,⁴ of the Son of Man, of the Holy Spirit.

And that’s why, when those messengers appear from age to age, they come with the Divine revelation of the Word for that time, so that God may fulfill in the midst of His Church what is promised for His Church for that occasion in which God sends each of those messengers.

Christ, since the Day of Pentecost until now, has been in the midst of His Church in Holy Spirit. That’s why when a Light brighter than the sun appeared to Saul of Tarsus (in chapter 9 of the book of Acts), he fell off his horse, he was blinded; and he hears the Voice coming from that Light, which says: “Saul, Saul, why do you persecute Me? It is hard for you to kick against the pricks,” Saul knew that that Light was the same One that had appeared to Moses back on Mount Horeb, there near Sinai, in a tree, a bush, and had said to him: “I am the God of your father, the God of Abraham, God of Isaac, and God of Jacob.”⁵

In other words, that Angel who appears in that Light is telling him that He is the God of Abraham. Why? Because that is the Angel of the Covenant, where the Name of God is.⁶ That Angel of the Covenant is the heavenly body of God, the image of the living God.

That’s why the human being also has a spiritual body called a spirit, because that is the image of the human being; the image of the human being is a spiritual body. And the human being also has a physical likeness; God also has a physical likeness. Christ is the image and also the likeness of God. The physical likeness, the physical body of God, is the body of the Lord Jesus Christ, which is glorified, and sitting on the heavenly Throne. That’s what Christ speaks about in Revelation.

Remember that the book of Revelation is the Message of Christ in Holy Spirit in the midst of His Church, conveyed through the Angel of the Lord Jesus Christ.⁷

And Revelation chapter 3, verses 20 to 21, says:

“Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.”

Just as Christ overcame by dying, being buried, and resurrecting on the third day; then He ascended to Heaven and sat at the right hand of God on the Throne of God. That’s why the Scripture says in Saint Matthew chapter 28, verse 16 to 20, Christ is speaking and says: “All power is given unto Me in Heaven and on Earth.”

The one who has power in a kingdom is the one sitting on the throne. Therefore, Christ is sitting on the heavenly Throne and that is why He rules the entire universe.

And now, just as the Father has seated Christ on His heavenly Throne, Christ will seat the Overcomer on His earthly Throne. The heavenly Throne of God is in Heaven. The Throne of Jesus Christ is the Throne of David, it is the Throne of the Kingdom of David, who is heir to that Throne and to that Kingdom, according to the words of the Archangel Gabriel to the virgin Mary in chapter 1 of Saint Luke, verses 30 and on.

Remember that there will come a change of government worldwide, because the Kingdom of God will be established on Earth; and the King, the heir to that Kingdom, is the Lord Jesus Christ.

Let’s see what the Scripture tells us: chapter 1, verse 29 and on, of Saint Luke:

“And when she saw him, she was troubled at his saying, and cast in her mind what manner of salutation this should be.

And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God.

And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name Jesus.

He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David:

And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end.”

Here the Angel Gabriel shows the virgin Mary that the son who will be born, born of her, is the heir to the Throne of David and Kingdom of David; in other words, He will be the David who will sit on the Throne of David for the restoration of the Kingdom of God on Earth.

Remember that the Kingdom of God on Earth is the Kingdom of David, and the Throne of God on Earth is the Throne of David. As simple as that.

The Coming of the Kingdom of God will be the restoration of the Kingdom of David and Throne of David; which is promised in the Sacred Scriptures. The time for that change is very close.

Mankind has been ruled by the kingdom of darkness, but soon it will be ruled by the Kingdom of Light, the Kingdom of God; and the believers in Christ of the different stages of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ will be there, occupying important positions in the Kingdom of the Messiah.

Israel is waiting for the Coming of the Messiah and waiting for the Kingdom of the Messiah, and Christianity is also waiting for the Coming of the Messiah and the restoration of the Kingdom of God on Earth. And we are very close to the promise of the Coming of the Messiah and the restoration of the Kingdom of God on Earth becoming a reality.

The Morning Star is Christ in Holy Spirit in the midst of His Church. He is the Day Star, He is also the Evening Star. In the evening, the star always shines in the West, and in the morning, in the East.

The western part pertains to the continent of the Americas and the eastern part pertains to the Middle East, where Israel is, and where the Morning Star, Christ, shone two thousand years ago in His First Coming.

He came to the people who were under the Covenant that was in effect at that time, for whom the First Coming of Christ was promised; and for the people who are under the current Covenant, the New Covenant, the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ is in the stage relevant to the West. That is why the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ is waiting for the Second Coming of Christ: for the resurrection of the dead believers in Him and the transformation of us who are alive at that time, to go with Christ to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb.

We are in a prophetic time, where the Scriptures that are relevant to this end time are being fulfilled; until the Coming of the Lord to His Church is completely fulfilled; which will then be seen by the Hebrew people, and they will say: “This is the One we are waiting for.”

In other words, the question would be: “Why is He among Christianity, among the believers in Christ?”

It’s because the Second Coming of Christ pertains to the believers in Christ, to be transformed at the end time, to receive the faith to be transformed and taken with Christ to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb; because they are inside the New Covenant that God established through Christ.

In the last supper, Christ said… taking the bread and breaking it, and giving thanks to the Father, He gave to His disciples, and said: “Eat ye all of it. This is My body.” And then, taking the cup of wine and giving thanks to the Father, He said to His disciples: “Drink ye all of it, for this is My Blood of the New Testament, which is shed for many.”⁸ There Christ is speaking about the New Covenant that He is going to establish.

Therefore, Israel, of the Covenant of the seventy weeks of Daniel, has three and a half years left to complete the seventy weeks of Daniel. Because when Christ died on Calvary’s Cross they were at the seventieth week, the middle of the seventieth week; and the seventieth week stopped there, with three and a half years left to be completed; which are relevant to the ministry of the Two Olive Trees, of Moses and Elijah, of Revelation chapter 11, for God to deal with the Hebrew people again, and to call and gather 144,000 Hebrews, 12,000 of each tribe.

We are in a very important prophetic time, where the prophecies relevant to the end time will all be fulfilled.

“Unto those that fear My Name shall the Sun of Righteousness arise, with healing in His Wings,” the Holy Spirit says through the prophet Malachi, in chapter 4, verse 2.

The Sun of Righteousness. Remember that the sun is a star; the solar systems that exist revolve around their sun: a star. And Christ, the Chief Star, is the Sun; the Sun which all the stars, believers in Christ, all the believers in Christ, who are represented in stars, revolve around; and even the messengers of each stage of the Church are represented in stars.

That’s why Christ appears with seven stars in His right hand; those are the seven messengers of the seven stages of the Church among the Gentiles, filled with the Holy Spirit, in whom Christ in Spirit was manifested, carrying out the work relevant to each age of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ.

And now, when referring to the signs in the sun, the moon, and the stars, it can be applied in multiple ways for the people. The moon, for example, represents the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ; in the past, under the Covenant that God gave Israel, the moon represented the Hebrew people. And the sun always represents God; God, Christ, our Savior. And the people are represented in the stars; that is why, remember that a star will probably be named after you.

And now, notice, also when Christ was born, it had also already been spoken by the prophet Balaam (there in Numbers chapter 24, verse 17) that a Star would come out of Jacob. It was fulfilled literally: the Star of Bethlehem,⁹ which represents Christ, the Bright and Morning Star.

In other words, the natural things in the sky: the stars, the sun, the moon, represent the believers in Christ; spiritual things are represented in the universe. Therefore, we have to understand that we are represented, we have the typology of the Work of God and what we are in God’s Program.

For example, Christ says in Saint John chapter 10, verse 1 to 30, that He is the Good Shepherd, and that He calls the sheep by name (the sheep that the Father gave Him) to give them Eternal Life; we are also represented in sheep. And Christ Himself is represented in a lamb; that’s why when John saw Him, he said: “Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.”¹⁰

The paschal lamb that the Hebrew people sacrificed back then in Egypt, to apply its blood on the lintel and the posts of the doors to their houses, to preserve the life of the firstborn,¹¹ represents Christ dying, and the Blood of Christ being applied by the Holy Spirit to preserve our life in the Kingdom of God, to preserve Eternal Life.

Without the Blood of Christ applied, the person doesn’t have Eternal Life; that’s why we all need Christ as our Savior. He is the Lamb of God that took away the sin of the world, and that becomes effective in every person when they receive Him as their Savior; until then, even though He already died for us and carried out the Sacrifice of Atonement, it isn’t effective for the person unless they receive Him as their only and sufficient Savior. Because a pardon isn’t an effective pardon for a person unless he receives it, unless he accepts it as a pardon.

We are living in a very important time, where God is opening all of these mysteries of the Bible, and especially, of the book of Revelation, to fill us with the knowledge of His Word, and therefore, of His Program relevant to this end time.

We saw that in the reading that we had at the beginning, it says: “And I will give Him the Morning Star.” Christ is reflected, represented in the Morning Star; but it’s not that He is going to give him that literal star, that literal planet, but rather that he will receive Christ, he will have Christ in Holy Spirit in him.

That Angel… that person who will receive the Morning Star, is also the Angel-Messenger of Revelation chapter 7, who comes to call and gather and seal 144,000 Jews; and that messenger is the one who will come in the spirit and power of Elijah in his fifth manifestation, and also with the ministry of Moses being repeated. Because the Two Olive Trees of Revelation chapter 11, verse 1 to 14, are the ones who have the ministry for the Jews at the end time.

That’s why the Jews don’t receive anyone except Moses and Elijah at the end time, who will come with the Message of God for the Hebrew people; but first those two ministries will be in the midst of Christianity, so that God may carry out the Work that was represented on Mount Transfiguration, when Christ had said in chapter 16 of Saint Matthew, verses 26 to 29, that “there are some standing here which shall not taste of death, until they see the Son of Man coming with power and glory in His Kingdom.”

And six days later, He takes them to Mount Transfiguration, a high mountain, which typifies the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ; and He was transfigured before His disciples: Peter, James, and John; and there, appeared: Christ with His face as the sun, His white, shining garments, and Moses and Elijah appeared on either side of Jesus.¹²

That is the Order of the Second Coming of Christ, that is the Order of the Coming of the Sun of Righteousness, that is the Order of the Coming of the Bright and Morning Star. Remember that the sun is a star, a greater star than the planets that are around it.

And now, at this end time, we must see that entire Program that is laid out in those types and figures, Biblical symbols, in order to understand what God has promised and how God will be carrying it out at this end time; so that we don’t overlook it, the way Israel did two thousand years ago, that the Messiah came and they didn’t receive Him. We don’t want the same thing to happen to any of you.

Therefore, the revelation of the Word given by the Holy Spirit at the Last Day is required, in order to obtain the Divine revelation of all the promises relevant to this end time; and to see them as they are being fulfilled; and also to be a part of that blessing, by supporting the entire Divine Program.

Remember Christ in Saint Luke, who, when Mary and Joseph went to look for Him… because they had gone for Passover, and when they returned, Jesus had stayed behind with the doctors of the Law, and He was perfectly fine there; and Him being a young man, about twelve years old, speaking with the doctors of the Law, asking them questions as well, and answering the questions they were asking Him.

And Joseph and Mary, along with all the group of people that had come from Nazareth, and their relatives, were traveling; and suddenly, they looked: “But where is the child Jesus?” They had lost Him. Remember that Mary represents Christianity.

And they began looking for Him among their relatives and they couldn’t find Him. They walked for three days and they hadn’t found Him. They didn’t know that He wasn’t with them.

It’s important to know that Christ is always with us. Let’s not let what happened to Joseph and Mary and their other relatives, happen to us, that they were walking believing that Christ was with them, but He wasn’t.

They returned to the temple and there He was. Mary tells Him: “Son, why have you done this to us? Your father and I have looked for You desperately.” Christ says to her: “Don’t you know that I must be about My Father’s business?”¹³

What is the Father’s business? To fulfill what it is promised that God will carry out through the instrument that He has for that time. And the instrument was Christ. Therefore, He had to be there to be fulfilling the Divine promise for that time.

It is important to be certain that Christ is accompanying us all the days of our lives. Without Christ there is no hope of Eternal Life, without Christ there is no blessing from God.

Therefore, it’s important to also teach our children the importance of always having Christ by our side. We want all of our children to enter into the Millennial Kingdom of Christ, we want to have them there with us, in that glorious Kingdom, where earthly problems will have already ended.

But in the meantime, we must strive in this earthly life because the kingdom isn’t in the hands of God; it’s in the hands of the enemy of God, the earthly kingdom is in the stage of the feet of iron and clay of chapter 2 of the book of the prophet Daniel. But in that stage is when the Coming of the Lord will take place and when Christ will take the Kingdom, establish the Kingdom of God on Earth, and bring peace and happiness to all the believers in Him.

We are at the end time, seeing the signs in the moon, the sun, and the stars; in the moon, the sun, and the stars of the physical realm and also of the spiritual realm.

“THE MORNING STAR.”

In Revelation chapter 22, verse 16, it says:

“I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.”

What will the One who receives the Morning Star have? He will have Christ in him, manifesting Himself in all His fullness at the end time. Christ in Holy Spirit in the Overcomer, who will be a son of God of the end time, who will be in the Mystical Body of Christ and who opens the door to Christ in his age, the Age of the Cornerstone; because in the Laodicean Age, they shut the door on Christ.

And now, in Revelation 3, verses 20 to 21, Christ knocks at the door, and the One who opens it will have that blessing: he opens the door to an eternal age: the Age of the Cornerstone.

The Age of the Cornerstone is an age parallel to the age of the First Coming of Christ; therefore, the blessings there were back then reflect the blessings there will be now.

The Second Coming of Christ is for the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ; but the Jews will see It and they will say: “This is the One we were waiting for.” And He will call and gather 144,000 Hebrews, 12,000 of each tribe.

Now we have seen what the Morning Star is: It is Christ, the Chief Star, the Sun of Righteousness, rising for the believers in Christ and then for the Hebrew people.

We are at the right time to wait for and to see the Coming of the Bright and Morning Star.

In Second Peter chapter 1, verse 19, it says:

“We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts.”

“And the Day Star,” (which is Christ), “arise in your hearts,” to have Him there in your hearts, Christ in His Coming at the Last Day.

And the messenger of the Last Day will receive Christ, the Bright and Morning Star, and Christ will manifest Himself through him at this end time; and thus, He will give us the faith to be transformed and taken with Christ to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb.

Let’s be prepared for the great blessings that there are. We can’t let blessings slip away from us. Therefore, we must be aware of what God has promised and what to do in order to be prepared.

Let’s be prepared. “Lift up your heads to Heaven,” (to the things of God), “for your redemption,” (your transformation), “is nigh.”¹⁴

The redemption is the redemption of the body, the transformation of our bodies, and the resurrection of the dead in Christ in glorified bodies.

“And I will give him the Morning Star.” We have seen that the Morning Star is Jesus Christ our Savior.

The One who receives the Morning Star will receive Christ in His Coming; and he will be adopted together with his group at the end time; and that’s why the promise of Revelation chapter 2, verses 26 to 29, will become a reality in him:

“And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations…”

He will have power over the nations: he will rule, he will reign with Christ for the Millennium and then for all eternity.

“And he shall rule them with a rod of iron,” (he will govern them with an iron rod), “as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father.”

Just as the Father has done with Jesus Christ, seating Him on the heavenly Throne and, therefore, giving Him all power in Heaven and on Earth, now Christ does the same thing: giving the Overcomer power on Earth at the Last Day. In other words, he will be adopted in the Kingdom of God, he will receive the Title Deed, the Seven-Sealed Book of Revelation chapter 5, and chapter 10 of Revelation; because Christ comes with the little Book open in His hand in Revelation chapter 10, to give It to a man who will eat It and then he will speak the content of that Book that he ate.

And that is the Title Deed of the Heavens and the Earth, the Title Deed of Eternal Life; therefore, we will go back to the way it was before the fall of Adam and Eve. That is what the restoration of the human being who has received Christ as his Savior and has obtained the new birth will be like.

That will be: returning to physical Eternal Life, because the believers in Christ have already returned to spiritual Eternal Life, and they still need to return to physical Eternal Life with a glorified, immortal body, just like the glorified body that Jesus Christ our Savior has.

May God help us see the Bright and Morning Star at the Last Day; as Saint Peter says in the passage that we read: “The Day Star.” And He will give us the faith, the revelation to be transformed and taken with Him to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb.

He is the One we will see in the Third Pull, that manifestation of God at the Last Day in the midst of His Church, going into that vision that Reverend William Branham had, where he saw a Great Tent Cathedral and he saw the Angel of the Covenant, Christ, entering and resting upon a little room, and manifesting Himself there according to His Program.¹⁵ All of that is tied to the Second Coming of Christ, all of that is tied to the Seventh Seal.

Therefore, Christianity will have the fulfillment of the Tent Vision someday, which won’t be too far away; and therefore, there will be a full manifestation of Christ in Holy Spirit in the midst of His Church.

What will we be seeing then? The Bright and Morning Star. And that will be seen by those who wake up early. Those who wake up late already missed the time to see the Bright and Morning Star.

Just like we have to wake up early to go to work, let’s wake up early spiritually in order to see the Bright and Morning Star at this end time; because that is the Coming of Christ to His Church at the Last Day in which we are living.

We are in a stage of preparation, spiritual preparation to receive all those blessings that Christ has for me, and for whom else? Each one of you as well.

The blessings that God has for the believers in Christ of this end time are great, and we are going to receive them.

Something important here in Revelation chapter 2, verse 17, it says:

“He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it.”

In other words, the Overcomer, the Messenger-Overcomer, will receive a white Stone. The Stone is Christ, the revelation of Christ; and It will be written upon Him as well. It says… Chapter 3, verse 12, of Revelation, says:

“Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God…”

God is going to write the Name of God upon the Overcomer. Just like in Exodus chapter 23, verses 20 to 23, it says that God sends His Angel, and it says: “Provoke Him not; for He will not pardon your transgressions, for My Name is in Him.”

And now, the Name of God, which is in the Angel, will be put in the Overcomer, as it is promised.

“… and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name.”

Here we can see that there is a New Name promised to be written upon the Overcomer. And the One who says He will write It —the New Name— is Christ in Holy Spirit, which He will write upon the Overcomer. In other words, the Overcomer will have the Name of God, the Name of the City of our God, and the New Name of the Lord Jesus Christ.

The Second Coming of Christ will be with a New Name; and for many, that will make it harder to see the Second Coming of Christ. But the secret is seeing what it has been promised that the Messiah will do in His Second Coming; and upon seeing Him do those things, then knowing that it’s because He comes with the New Name of Christ, the Eternal Name of God, the Name of the City of our God. As simple as that.

“He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.”

What Christ in Holy Spirit says to the churches is here, in the book of Revelation; and therefore, that is the Voice of Christ in the midst of His Church, speaking through the Holy Spirit through His different messengers.

May God help us at this end time to see the Bright and Morning Star in His Coming. He will come with the Name of God, the Name of the City of our God, and the New Name of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Remember that the Bible says that God calls each of the stars by their name;¹⁶ and the believers in Christ are stars, descendants of Abraham by faith in Christ.

And may God bless you and keep you; and we will see each other eternally in the Kingdom of Christ our Savior.
