Good morning, beloved friends and brethren present. It is a great privilege for me to be with you on this occasion, to share with you a few moments of fellowship around the Word of God and His Program relevant to this end time; for which I want to read in Revelation, chapter 19, verses 7 to 10, where it says as follows:
“Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready.
And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.
And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God.”
May God bless our hearts with His Word and allow us to understand It.
Our topic for this occasion is: “THE MYSTERY OF THE MARRIAGE OF THE LAMB.”
The mystery of the marriage is always the mystery of the union of a man and a woman who love each other and are united in marriage. And now, we can see that the marriage of a man and a woman is type and figure of the Marriage of the Lamb, because the man represents Christ and the woman represents the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ.
In the Old Testament and also in the New Testament, we have the types and figures of the Marriage of the Lamb, that is, of the union of Christ with His Church; and we have, for example, the union of Joseph with his wife, who was a gentile, and which is type and figure of Christ and His Church.
Because always, in the Bible, women represent churches; and the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ is represented in women who have been chosen by God at different times to represent the Church of Jesus Christ.
And here Asenath, who became Joseph’s wife when Joseph ascended the throne of Pharaoh to be second in command in the kingdom,1 in the empire of the pharaoh, you see, Asenath becomes a type and figure of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ. And they had two sons, which were Manasseh (the elder) and Ephraim (the younger)2; which were blessed by Jacob when Joseph brought them before Jacob, before Jacob’s death, when he was already near his death.
And Joseph presented them to Jacob, one on Joseph’s right hand (that is, Ephraim) and the other on Joseph’s left hand (Manasseh). And Joseph placed, you see, the younger on his right hand, and the elder on his left hand; and so he brought them before Jacob. And before Jacob, Manasseh stood on Jacob’s right hand, and Ephraim stood on Jacob’s left.
But you see, there is a mystery here. We find that when Jacob went to bless, he placed his right hand where Joseph had his right hand; that is, he placed his right hand on Ephraim’s head; and then he placed his left hand upon where Joseph had his left hand, that is, on Manasseh. And so, in the form of a cross, he cast the blessing first on Ephraim and then on Manasseh.
And now, notice how the blessing that belonged to the Hebrew people, which is the oldest by birth…; in other words, the earthly Israel, the Hebrew people, is the first one that was born as a nation; and then the heavenly Israel has been born from age to age, Ephraim has been born from age to age.
And now see how Manasseh represents the Hebrew people and Ephraim represents the gentile Church of the Lord Jesus Christ. And the Birthright Blessing, which Jacob had, notice, he placed it on Ephraim. And after he blessed Ephraim, then he blessed Manasseh.
We find in this Birthright Blessing…; because the Birthright Blessing came to the firstborn; and for that reason the first one to be blessed was (who?) the firstborn.
And Jacob, by doing this in this manner, was doing the same thing that was done to him when Isaac his father blessed Jacob with the Birthright Blessing.
And now, see how the Birthright Blessing passed from Abraham to Isaac, and from Isaac it passed to Jacob; and now look how this Birthright Blessing is passed to Joseph.
Because, although apparently Joseph is not Jacob’s firstborn… apparently he is not; but he is. How can it be possible that, being born after his siblings, Joseph is the firstborn? Let’s see if Joseph is or is not the firstborn to obtain that Birthright Blessing:
We find that Reuben was born before Joseph. That is true. And other brothers of Joseph were also born before Joseph.
But where is the mystery, who did Jacob marry? Jacob married Rachel. And we find that they gave him Leah, but Jacob didn’t marry Leah, he married who? Rachel.3 And the first son that Jacob had through his wife Rachel, was who? Joseph.4
Now look, with all that Laban did against Jacob, nevertheless the blessing of God remained with Jacob and with Jacob’s firstborn son, who came through Rachel.
And now, when it is Jacob’s turn to receive the Birthright Blessing, first of all, you see, the one who was to receive the Birthright Blessing appears: Joseph; and he appears with his sons: Manasseh and Ephraim.
And since the Birthright Blessing passes from one to the other, now see how Jacob is going to bless Joseph with the Birthright Blessing: He blessed Joseph with the Birthright Blessing by blessing his sons, and placing his right hand on Ephraim’s head, and his left hand on Manasseh’s head.
And now look at everything that happened, here in chapter 48 of the book of Genesis, where Jacob says to his son Joseph, notice… In chapter 48, verse 1 and on, it says:
“And it came to pass after these things, that one told Joseph, Behold, thy father is sick: and he took with him his two sons, Manasseh and Ephraim.”
In other words, the sickness Jacob had was a sickness to die at any moment; and Joseph took his two sons to bring them to their father Jacob, so that he could bless them before he died.
“And one told Jacob, and said, Behold, thy son Joseph cometh unto thee: and Israel strengthened himself, and sat upon the bed (that is, he was already in bed, sick in bed; already ready to die).
And Jacob said unto Joseph, God Almighty appeared unto me at Luz in the land of Canaan, and blessed me,
And said unto me, Behold, I will make thee fruitful, and multiply thee, and I will make of thee a multitude of people; and will give this land to thy seed after thee for an everlasting possession.
And now thy two sons, Ephraim and Manasseh, which were born unto thee in the land of Egypt before I came unto thee into Egypt, are mine; as Reuben and Simeon, they shall be mine.”
Now, notice how these two sons of Joseph become part of the tribes of Israel. And Joseph as a tribe has two parts, Joseph as a tribe has a double portion, because the Birthright Blessing is a double portion blessing.
And now, look how this double portion is distributed in Ephraim and Manasseh. That is why when Joseph’s sons, Ephraim and Manasseh, are mentioned as tribes, Joseph’s name doesn’t appear; because when it says “the tribe of Joseph,” it is said “Manasseh,” and “Ephraim” is said. Ephraim first and Manasseh afterwards.
And now, through the cross came the blessing for Joseph; through the cross came the Birthright Blessing for Joseph, Jacob blessing his sons Ephraim and Manasseh. And now the younger would be greater than the elder.
And now, let’s see here how Jacob continues to say here:
“And thy issue, which thou begettest after them, shall be thine, and shall be called after the name of their brethren in their inheritance (that is, by the name of Ephraim or by the name of Manasseh).
And as for me, when I came from Padan, Rachel died by me in the land of Canaan in the way, when yet there was but a little way to come unto Ephrath: and I buried her there in the way of Ephrath; the same is Bethlehem.
And Israel beheld Joseph’s sons, and said, Who are these?
And Joseph said unto his father, They are my sons, whom God hath given me in this place. And he said, Bring them, I pray thee, unto me, and I will bless them.
Now the eyes of Israel were dim for age, so that he could not see. And he brought them near unto him; and he kissed them, and embraced them.
And Israel said unto Joseph, I had not thought to see thy face: and, lo, God hath shewed me also thy seed.
And Joseph brought them out from between his knees, and he bowed himself with his face to the earth.
And Joseph took them both, Ephraim in his right hand toward Israel’s left hand, and Manasseh in his left hand toward Israel’s right hand, and brought them near unto him.
And Israel stretched out his right hand, and laid it upon Ephraim’s head, who was the younger, and his left hand upon Manasseh’s head, guiding his hands wittingly (that is, he knew what he was doing); for Manasseh was the firstborn.
And he blessed Joseph (see, ‘and blessed Joseph’), and said, God, before whom my fathers Abraham and Isaac did walk, the God which fed me all my life long unto this day,
The Angel which redeemed me from all evil, bless the lads; and let my name be named on them, and the name of my fathers Abraham and Isaac; and let them grow into a multitude in the midst of the earth.
And when Joseph saw that his father laid his right hand upon the head of Ephraim, it displeased him: and he held up his father’s hand, to remove it from Ephraim’s head unto Manasseh’s head.
And Joseph said unto his father, Not so, my father: for this is the firstborn; put thy right hand upon his head (that is, over Manasseh’s head).
And his father refused, and said, I know it, my son, I know it: he also shall become a people, and he also shall be great: but truly his younger brother shall be greater than he, and his seed shall become a multitude of nations.
And he blessed them that day, saying, In thee shall Israel bless, saying, God make thee as Ephraim and as Manasseh: and he set Ephraim before Manasseh.
And Israel said unto Joseph, Behold, I die: but God shall be with you, and bring you again unto the land of your fathers.
Moreover I have given to thee one portion above thy brethren, which I took out of the hand of the Amorite with my sword and with my bow.”
Now we can see how Jacob blessed Joseph: blessing Ephraim and then Manasseh. Manasseh represents the Hebrew people and Ephraim represents the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ.
We find that from the union of Joseph and Asenath came these two sons.
Asenath also represents the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ. And through the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ we find that the Birthright Blessing comes, which Christ brings to His Church; and that is why Joseph, representing Christ, notice how, being among the gentiles married to a gentile woman, the Birthright Blessing came to him.
And now Christ has brought the Birthright Blessing to the gentiles by coming to the gentiles and calling out from among the gentiles a people for His Name.5
And with that people from among the gentiles, which He has been calling for His Name from age to age, He has been forming His Church, those born in the Kingdom of God, born of the Water and the Spirit, believers in Christ as our Savior, who have washed their sins in the Blood of Christ and have received the Spirit of Jesus Christ; and thus has been forming the spiritual Ephraim, which are the elect of God from among the gentiles, the Church-Bride of the Lord Jesus Christ, represented in Ephraim.
Now, notice how the Birthright Blessing is among the gentiles; and the blessing for the gentile Church of the Lord Jesus Christ is the Birthright Blessing. That is why it says here that of the firstborn, of the one who has the Birthright Blessing, which is Ephraim, God will form a multitude of nations.
Now, you see, it says:
“…but truly his younger brother shall be greater than he”
Who is his younger brother, the younger brother of Manasseh? Well, Ephraim. He will be greater than he.
Look how the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ from age to age has been being formed, it has been being created by God, by Jesus Christ; and from the gentile nations the Church of Jesus Christ has been being formed.
And we can see that, from that Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, for the Millennial Kingdom and for eternity, a multitude of nations will be established on this planet Earth; just as in the midst of the Hebrew people we find that, from the children of Israel, God formed a nation.
And now notice, the heavenly nation… [MISSING AUDIO].
…with the sons of Jacob those tribes were formed, and with those tribes the Hebrew nation was formed; with the heavenly Israel God is creating a new race of people that will have eternal bodies and eternal theophanic spirits as well; the New Creation, of which Christ is the head, as it says in Revelation, chapter 3, verse 14, that He is the beginning of the Creation of God; and we are the continuation of the Creation of God.
And now, with the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ (which has been called and gathered from among the gentiles, from age to age), He is creating a new race, which will live on this planet Earth with eternal bodies, and which will reign with Christ for the Millennium and for all eternity as kings and priests.
And this people created by Christ, which is the heavenly Israel…; just as the earthly Israel was formed by the patriarchs, now, you see, from the patriarchs came the children of the patriarchs, and so on; and those tribes that come to form the Hebrew nation were formed.
And now through the messengers of Jesus Christ in and to His Church, from stage to stage the heavenly Israel has been formed. From age to age, we can say that God sent a patriarch, who was the messenger sent in each age. And now, see how each group of each age has been formed. That is why the messenger corresponding to each age will be judged and then his group will enter, the messenger will be resurrected with the group of his age in the Last Day; because the maximum leader, through whom Christ was manifested in each age, was the messenger of each age; that was the most important person in each age, it was the messenger of each age; just as the most important person in each tribe of Israel was the patriarch, who was the head of that tribe.
And now, see why they appear seated on twelve thrones: they are the head of each one of those tribes; the twelve apostles of the Lord Jesus Christ also appear seated on twelve thrones.6 And when we add the twelve thrones of the twelve patriarchs and the twelve thrones of the twelve apostles, they are the twenty-four thrones where the twenty-four elders are seated before God.7
And now see how John saw them even before the fulfillment of that entire Divine Program.
John, we can say, saw John. How could John see John? When John saw the twenty-four elders, one of those twenty-four elders was John. John is represented there, in one of those twenty-four elders.
And now, when John saw the candlestick or candelabrum, he was seeing the seven ages of the gentile Church with its seven angel messengers; when he saw each one of those lamps burning, that wick burning in each one of those lamps, he was seeing the messenger of each one of those ages.
When John saw those seven lamps before God, in chapter 4 of Revelation, look at what John was seeing there; because these seven lamps of fire are the seven spirits of God. (Revelation, chapter 4, verse 5). And the seven spirits of God are the seven eyes of God or the Lord8 that travel throughout the Earth; in other words, they are the seven manifestations of the Holy Spirit in the seven angel messengers of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, of the seven stages or ages of the gentile Church.
Now see how the whole Divine Program that God would carry out in and with His Church, everything is represented in these apocalyptic visions that Saint John the apostle had and also the prophet Daniel and the prophet Zechariah.
And we find that in the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the whole Program that God would carry out in and with Her, is already represented in types and figures, both of the Old Testament and the New Testament; and in those types and figures what represented the Marriage of the Lamb had a happy fulfillment; therefore, the union of Christ with His Church in the end time will have a happy fulfillment, the promise of the Marriage of the Lamb with His Church will have a happy fulfillment.
And now, see how important is the type and figure given by God in both the Old Testament and the New Testament. That is why when God commanded the prophet Moses to speak to the rock on the second occasion when God was going to produce water for the Hebrew people through the rock: the rock, since it represents Christ on the first occasion when He was going to give water to the people through that rock, God had told the prophet Moses to strike the rock; he struck it, and it gave water for the Hebrew people.9
The rock, being Christ, represents there the First Coming of Christ being struck on Calvary’s Cross to give us Water of eternal life, and thus give us His Spirit as a river of Water of Life for all of us.
Christ on one occasion said, on the last day of the feast, in John, when He was there in the temple on the last day of the feast: He says in chapter 7, verse 37 to 39:
“In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink.
He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.
(But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)”
Now see how Christ, the Rock, would open to give Water of eternal life, to give us of His Holy Spirit, by believing in Him and washing our sins in the Blood of Christ, and thus receive the Spirit of Christ as a river of the Water of Life. On the Day of Pentecost the people began to receive —as individuals— the river of the Water of Life, the Holy Spirit; and there 120 people were born.10
Now, notice how that rock being smitten by Moses represented the First Coming of Christ being smitten on Calvary’s Cross to give us the Water of eternal life, the Holy Spirit. And see how the type and figure was fulfilled.
And now, for the second time when the Hebrew people was thirsty, in another place where they were, they cried out to Moses and to God; and Moses was very angry, very furious, against the Hebrew people; but God said to him: “Speak to the rock.”11
The rock represents (remember) Christ. The first occasion in which God told him to go to the rock and strike the rock, represents the First Coming of Christ, who was wounded on Calvary’s Cross; and that is why God told Moses to strike the rock, because Christ would be struck in His First Coming on Calvary’s Cross, to give us the Water of eternal life.
But for the second time God told Moses: “Speak to the rock.” He didn’t tell him to strike the rock, but to speak to the rock; because the Second Coming of Christ is not to die again on Calvary’s Cross, it is not to die again and thus give us Water.
And Moses, full of anger against the Hebrew people, smote the rock; and water came out of the rock, but God was angry with Moses, He was furious with Moses; and God didn’t forgive Moses for that sin, and said to him: “Since you smote the rock when I told you to speak to the rock, for that reason you shall not enter the promised land.” And Moses, being the messenger of that dispensation, you see, wasn’t able to enter the promised land; because he smote the rock.
And what is wrong with him doing as he did on the first occasion? There is a lot wrong with it, because the type and figure of the Second Coming of Christ was being established there, and it had to be according to what God told Moses. That was the greatest mistake and the greatest sin that Moses committed.
Now, let’s see here, in chapter 20 and verse 24 of Numbers, something that we should see. Numbers…
This teaches us that, in the things of God and for the things of God, we have to be reverent and we have to be respectful, and not act in anger; because when a person acts in anger in the things of God, he will always sin before God. And that happened to the dispensational prophet Moses; and he was the gentlest man of all the Hebrew people.12
I told you chapter 20, verse 24; let’s see what it says here. Let’s look at chapter 20, verse 23 (let’s read here instead). And we are also going to read in… Deuteronomy 3, we are also going to read it.
This event gives us a very great teaching to all of us, so that we know that the things of God must be taken seriously and that we can’t be spoiled children, because God takes into account all these things. And God doesn’t have spoiled pretty children.
It says Numbers, chapter 20, verse 23 and on, it says:
“And the Lord spake unto Moses and Aaron in mount Hor, by the coast of the land of Edom, saying,
Aaron shall be gathered unto his people: for he shall not enter into the land which I have given unto the children of Israel, because ye rebelled against my word at the water of Meribah (even Aaron had problems there).
Take Aaron and Eleazar his son, and bring them up unto mount Hor:
And strip Aaron of his garments, and put them upon Eleazar his son: and Aaron shall be gathered unto his people, and shall die there (he wasn’t going to die because he got old, but because he was rebellious with Moses at the waters of Meribah; and then it goes on to narrate all about Aaron’s death and the mourning they did for him for 30 days).”
Then, in Deuteronomy, chapter 3, verses… Let’s see… Here God speaks to the prophet Moses. It says verse 18 onwards, of chapter 3 of Deuteronomy, it says:
“And I commanded you at that time, saying, The Lord your God hath given you this land to possess it: ye shall pass over armed before your brethren the children of Israel, all that are meet for the war.”
Thus he is speaking here to two tribes that wanted to stay on the other side before crossing the Jordan; they wanted that land as their inheritance. He says:
“But your wives, and your little ones, and your cattle, (for I know that ye have much cattle,) shall abide in your cities which I have given you;
Until the Lord have given rest unto your brethren, as well as unto you, and until they also possess the land which the Lord your God hath given them beyond Jordan: and then shall ye return every man unto his possession, which I have given you.
And I commanded Joshua at that time, saying, Thine eyes have seen all that the Lord your God hath done unto these two kings: so shall the Lord do unto all the kingdoms whither thou passest.
Ye shall not fear them (Moses tells Joshua): for the Lord your God he shall fight for you (and He is also the one who fights for His Church; that is, He is also the one who fights for us).
And I besought the Lord at that time, saying,
O Lord God, thou hast begun to shew thy servant thy greatness, and thy mighty hand: for what God is there in heaven or in earth, that can do according to thy works, and according to thy might?
I pray thee, let me go over, and see the good land that is beyond Jordan, that goodly mountain, and Lebanon.”
See how the prophet Moses comes to God as gently as possible, praying to God and giving testimony to God of the great things that God has done.
God had given victory to the Hebrew people over these kings who were before crossing the Jordan. Moses with the Hebrew people had defeated them, because God was the one who had fought on behalf of the Hebrew people; and now that territory was going to be inherited by the Hebrews. And now Moses is telling God that he has seen those mighty works that God has done; the ones He had just done and the ones he had seen and the ones God had done before those; and now Moses is approaching God giving testimony of God’s greatness, and now he says to Him:
“I pray thee, let me go over, and see the good land that is beyond Jordan, (that is, I cross the Jordan) that goodly mountain, and Lebanon.
But the Lord was wroth with me for your sakes…”
And now, look, God, although He knows that the Hebrew people were very annoying, and Moses was annoyed with the Hebrew people, God doesn’t hold Moses innocent.
Moses is blaming the Hebrew people; but no person can blame another person for his anger, because the anger came from within, it is his; what he had to do was to be patient with the people and wait for God to work.
So God doesn’t hold Moses innocent, even though he is the greatest prophet among the Hebrew people. And he says:
“But the Lord was wroth with me for your sakes, and would not hear me: and the Lord said unto me, Let it suffice thee; speak no more unto me of this matter.”
“Speak no more unto me of this matter, of your passing over the Jordan.” Why? Because God already said: “Thou shalt not pass over.”
“And thou shalt not pass over for this reason: because thou hast not honored me in the waters yonder, but hast glorified thyself, thou hast smitten the rock.” And there Moses broke the perfect type and figure of the Second Coming of Christ.
If Moses speaks to the rock, God told him that it was going to give water, because the Second Coming of Christ is by the spoken Word. And it is through the spoken Word that the Work of God relevant to this end time must come.
By the spoken creative Word of God is that the creation of the new body that the dead in Christ will have and that we will have as well must come; because that is the Water that He will give us in this end time; because that is the Water of the fullness of the Spirit of God for every son and daughter of God.
Just as with the first fruits of the Spirit we received the theophanic body of the sixth dimension, the Water of eternal life; for the Last Day —in addition— we will receive the physical and eternal body that He has promised for each one of His children who already have their theophanic body. That eternal body will be for all those who will have the theophanic body.
In other words, for those who received the first fruits of the Spirit, they will also receive the fullness of the Spirit of God in the Last Day. And just as with the first fruits we received the theophanic body of the sixth dimension, with the fullness we will receive the eternal body that He has promised for each one of you and for me also; and thus we will be with the double portion.
Now, notice, with this blessing promised for the Last Day… For what time? For the time of the Second Coming of Christ, for the time of the materialization of the Rock for the second time giving Water of eternal life to all the sons and daughters of God, who have their names written in the Lamb’s Book of Life; that is what the Second Coming of Christ is for: for the transformation of us who are alive and for the resurrection of the dead in Christ in eternal bodies.
Now, there is a Program in the Second Coming of Christ, which He is the one who carries it out; just as in the First Coming of Christ there was a Program appointed by God to be carried out, which was carried out by the Angel of the Covenant manifested in human flesh in that veil of flesh called Jesus; and through that veil of flesh He carried out the Program relevant to the First Coming of Christ, the Program corresponding to the rock being smitten there by Moses; there was the type and figure, which was fulfilled on the mountain there, on Mount Calvary.
And now, for the Last Day, the type and figure of the rock to which God told Moses to speak to it, is the one that has to be fulfilled. And now, notice how Moses broke or altered that type and figure; but the Second Coming of Christ has to be fulfilled.
Though He may not be literally smitten as at the First Coming there on Calvary’s Cross, though there may not be a literal crucifixion: a spiritual crucifixion will take place. Many people will spiritually crucify the Second Coming of Christ, and it will count as it did to those who did it literally as well, to those who do it spiritually.
Now, the Second Coming of Christ is to bring the blessings of the new body that Christ has promised for each of us. That is why the Lord Himself, says Saint Paul in First Thessalonians, chapter 4, verse 3 and on:
“For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first…”
Do you see what the Coming of the Lord is for? It is to give us eternal life physically as well, for a restoration to eternal physical life also, and thus to give us an eternal body; to be restored to all that Adam and Eve lost in the fall, to eternal life, with all rights restored; and being all restored to the Inheritance of God, which Adam lost, but that Inheritance will be restored to the sons and daughters of God.
We have received the spirit of adoption, that is, the first fruits of the Spirit, the spirit or theophanic body of the sixth dimension; and on this Last Day, in addition, we will receive the eternal and glorified physical body that Christ has promised for all of us; and thus we will have the fullness of the Spirit of God, of the Holy Spirit, in this Last Day.
The dead in Christ will resurrect first, and we who are alive will see them, and then we will be transformed. This is for the Last Trumpet, because Saint Paul says it will be at the Last Trumpet; for the Trumpet will sound and the dead in Christ will resurrect first, and then we who are alive will be changed. (First Corinthians, chapter 15, verse 50 to 55). And then the written word will be fulfilled: “Death is swallowed up in victory.” And so we will live for all eternity with an eternal body and with an eternal theophanic spirit as well.
And when we have the eternal body, as individuals we will be married to the Lord Jesus Christ; that is, we will be united with Him, in the image and likeness of the Lord Jesus Christ.
That is the union of us as individuals with Christ. And the union of the Church of Jesus Christ with Christ, notice, it is the union of the Mystical Body of Christ with the head, which is Christ, the Cornerstone, in His Second Coming.
For that comes the Cornerstone, Jesus Christ, in His Second Coming, for the union with His Church; and as the elect of God are called and gathered, and placed in the Age of the Cornerstone, the number of the elect of God is being completed, and thus the Most Holy Place of the spiritual Temple of Jesus Christ is being formed.
And when the number of the elect of God is completed in the Age of the Cornerstone, there we find the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ to be complete, as a spiritual Temple, for God to dwell in Holy Spirit in all His fullness. And God will have a full manifestation, that is, in all His fullness, in His Church, in the Last Day, in the Age of the Cornerstone, in the fulfillment of that union of Christ and His Church, where Christ and His Church become one; just as when the minister marries the bridegroom and the bride, declares them husband and wife, and declares them one body, both become one body; and so it is with Christ and His Church in the Marriage of the Lamb.
The Marriage of the Lamb occurs here on Earth, both in the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ as the Mystical Body of believers, and in each person as an individual. And when each person as an individual is transformed, he will be married, as an individual, to Christ.
And the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, notice, is the one that has those persons that will become in the image and likeness of Jesus Christ; and thus they will have as individuals the Cornerstone united to them; they will have the new body, the eternal body, united to the theophanic body; and the soul of those persons will be living in that body, in that theophanic body, and in that physical body where the theophanic body will be placed.
And the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ as Mystical Body of believers, in the Last Day and for the Last Day will be receiving the Coming of the Bridegroom to marry Her.
And in the parable of the ten virgins we find that those who had oil (which are those who have the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Christ, those who have that theophanic body), it says that when the Bridegroom came, in other words, Christ, the Bridegroom… Let’s see: Matthew, chapter 25, verses 10 and on, it says:
“And while they went to buy…”
In other words, while the fatuous went to buy oil, while the foolish went in search of the Holy Spirit, in search of the theophanic body, by means of their religious systems…; because everyone is looking, by means of their religious systems, for the Holy Spirit, the new birth, that is, the theophanic body of the sixth dimension.
“And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready (those who had oil, those who had his theophanic body, those who had received the Spirit of Christ) went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut.”
For when the last one enters, the door must be shut; because no more people can enter. And he that is filthy, let him be filthy still; and he that is righteous, let him be justified still.13 There is no more opportunity, because Christ leaves the Throne of the Father and there is no more Blood in the Place of Intercession in Heaven.
Now, in the Mystical Body of Christ, in the Age of the Cornerstone, is where the Spirit of Christ has been in this end time, just as it was in every age of the past in every angel messenger of every age. For the Age of the Cornerstone the Holy Spirit will be in the Angel Messenger of Jesus Christ, first in the first fruits, and then He will be in all His fullness.
When He comes out of the Throne of Intercession He will be in all His fullness manifested in His Angel Messenger; and there will be the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ married to Christ. And every member of the Mystical Body of Christ will be married to Christ, because it will be transformed and will have the eternal body.
Now, let us see what the Forerunner of the Second Coming of Christ says in relation to the Coming of Christ, in Revelation, chapter 19, as the white horse Rider of Revelation 19.
First let’s see who this white horse Rider of Revelation, chapter 19 is. Praying the forerunner of the Second Coming of Christ said (in one part of the prayer):
[The Seals, page 327]: “[391] …may the Holy Spirit come down now, the white-horse Rider, while His Spirit, Spirit of Christ, in the face of antichrist, and call His Own. Call them out, Lord.”
Who is the white horse Rider of Revelation? It is the Holy Spirit, it is Jesus Christ in Holy Spirit, it is the Angel of the Covenant; which also appears in Revelation, chapter 10, as the Mighty Angel that descends from Heaven clothed in a cloud, with the rainbow around His head, with His eyes as flames of fire, with His face like the sun, shining like the sun, and with a little Book open in His hand, which is the Book of the Seven Seals.
On page 134 of the message of The Seals in Spanish, our brother Branham says:14
“…Notice! And when this Holy Spirit that we have becomes incarnate to us, the One that’s in our midst now in the form of the Holy Ghost, becomes incarnate to us, in the Person of Jesus Christ, we’ll crown Him King of kings and Lord of lords.”
On page 146, the Forerunner of the Second Coming of Christ tells us about Christ with a sword coming out of His mouth, and says:15
“But, you see, when Christ come, a Sword went forth from His mouth, like a lightning flash. It went forth and consumed His enemies, and cast away the devil. It cut away everything else. And He come, His vesture dipped in blood, and on His thigh was written, “The Word of God.” Amen. Here He come, with His army, coming from Heaven.”
And now, on page 256 of the book of The Seals, it tells us what is the Coming of the white horse Rider of Revelation, chapter 19, and it says how He will come in the Last Day. It says:16
“196 But when our Lord appears here on earth, He’ll be riding on a snow-white horse. And He’ll be completely, fully, the Emmanuel, the Word of God incarnate in a Man.”
How will the white horse Rider of Revelation 19 come? How will Jesus Christ come in Holy Spirit to His Church in the Last Day, to the Age of the Cornerstone? He will come incarnate in a man. That man has to be a prophet, and he has to be the prophet of the Age of the Cornerstone and the Dispensation of the Kingdom. That man has to be the Angel of the Lord Jesus Christ.
That is how the Cornerstone will come, the Rock, which Moses in type and figure smote when God said to him: “Speak to it”; for which Moses lost the privilege of entering alive in his earthly body to the promised land; and Aaron also lost that privilege.
Now we can see how the Cornerstone will come to the Mystical Body of Christ in the Last Day. He will come manifested in human flesh in the Last Day, in the messenger who will be in the Age of the Cornerstone, which is the Angel of the Lord Jesus Christ. That is why in Revelation, chapter 4, He says, Christ says: “Come up hither (where to? To the Age of the Cornerstone), and I will show you the things which shall be hereafter.”
And then, in Revelation, chapter 22, verse 6, He makes known to us all those things through His Angel Messenger. It is His Angel Messenger that makes known all these things. It says Revelation, chapter 22, verse 6:
“And he said unto me, These sayings are faithful and true: and the Lord God of the holy prophets sent his angel to shew unto his servants the things which must shortly be done.”
It is the Angel of the Lord Jesus Christ the instrument of Jesus Christ to make known all these things that must happen soon. And Jesus Christ in Holy Spirit will be manifested in His Angel Messenger, coming manifested in human flesh in the fulfillment of His promises corresponding to the Age of the Cornerstone, just as He was manifested in human flesh in every angel messenger of every age of His gentile Church.
And now, for the Last Day, after having a manifestation in human flesh, in the fulfillment of the first fruits of the Spirit, then He will have a full manifestation, a manifestation in all His fullness through His Angel Messenger.
And when His Angel Messenger is adopted and has the new body, there will be a manifestation, without limits, of Jesus Christ in Holy Spirit through His Angel Messenger.
And thus will be the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ with Christ manifested in Her midst for the union of Christ with His Church; that is how the wise virgins enter the Marriage of the Lamb; and then the Door will be closed.
Because Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God, who is also the Lion of the tribe of Judah, will be manifested in the midst of His Church: in human flesh through His Angel Messenger, for the union in marriage of Christ with His Church.
And when we all have the eternal body, the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ will be in all her fullness married to Jesus Christ, the Son of God.
And each of us as individuals will be married to Christ by having the eternal body that He has promised for all of us; which in type and figure has already been fulfilled. That is, the type and figure testifies that it will be a reality for the children of God.
Having the type and figure, and having the Word of the Gospel of the Kingdom, the Message of the Great Voice of Trumpet, we already have in that Word the new body; in other words, we have in that Word what is needed for the creation of the new body; it is in that Word.
Now let’s see Christ in His different forms:
Christ as theophany: He is the Angel of the Covenant, the Angel of the Lord, that is Christ in Holy Spirit.
Christ as Word, as Message: that is the Message of Christ in every age.
Christ in every age in the form of Message: it was the Message of Christ for His people in every age.
Christ, as the Message in our time: it is the Message of the Last Trumpet or Message of the Gospel of the Kingdom.
And Christ in His Church, from age to age, in Holy Spirit: it was Christ manifested in each angel messenger of each age, both of the seven ages of the gentile Church, as well as of the Age of the Cornerstone.
And Christ as His Church: for it is the group of believers of every age.
And now notice Christ in His different forms in which He would be manifested in His Mystical Body of believers.
Now, notice how for the Last Day the Marriage of the Lamb in all its fullness will be when we have the new body. Thus the Marriage of the Lamb will be in all its fullness fulfilled.
Now, we find that the forerunner of the Second Coming of Christ told us that the Marriage of the Lamb has already taken place.17 This is when the Church of Jesus Christ has been joined or the Cornerstone has been joined to her, the Age of the Cornerstone. As the Mystical Body, with the Coming of the Age of the Cornerstone, we already find that the Church as the Mystical Body has been united with Christ, that is, she is married to Christ. But remember that we must see all the angles of the Marriage of the Lamb.
Our brother Branham says that when a young man gives the word to a young woman —in other words, he commits himself—, before God he is already married18; and that is: united; it is a Marriage before God. And when Christ has given us His Word, and we have received It, then we are married to Christ; there we have the Marriage of Christ with us, with His Church. But notice how we have to follow the different steps until the Marriage of the Lamb is fulfilled in all its fullness. And then we go to the reception, which is the Marriage Supper of the Lamb.
At the reception they always give something to eat. See? It’s the Supper. They give a meal, a supper. And the Marriage Supper of the Lamb will be, you see, in our heavenly Father’s House; because here on Earth human beings are going to be going through the great tribulation; so we will go to a quiet place, full of peace, full of divine love and security, where even atomic bombs will not affect us.
So we can see what the Marriage of the Lamb is: it is the union of Christ and His Church, of two beings who love each other and have given each other His Word.
And now, notice how after the Marriage of the Lamb will come the Marriage Supper, which we will be talking about in the next activity. In this activity we are seeing: “THE MYSTERY OF THE MARRIAGE OF THE LAMB.”
If you look closely, in a marriage, while a marriage is taking place, all you will be seeing is the bride and groom in marriage clothes; and you will be seeing the minister there speaking, that is, performing that marriage ceremony by means of the spoken word; it is by means of that spoken word that the minister performs that marriage, those marriages of two beings who love each other; and then he declares them husband and wife: both become one flesh. Although two bodies are seen, they are —before God— one flesh.
And Christ and His Church, notice, become one flesh.
And just as man and woman become flesh of his flesh and blood of his blood (the wife becomes so to the husband; as Adam also said of Eve), so now, notice, Christ and His Church become one flesh.
And of the same kind of body of Christ, will be the body of each member of the Church of Jesus Christ: an eternal and glorious body, with a theophanic spirit of the sixth dimension within that body, and there will be the soul of the person, living for all eternity. And so we will live for Christ as kings and priests for all eternity.
THE MARRIAGE OF THE LAMB is the greatest event, the greatest feast, or the greatest ceremony, that is promised to be carried out on this planet Earth in the Divine Program; and that is what the Second Coming of Christ is for.
And Christ will be in the midst of His Church manifested. When the dead in Christ are resurrected and we are transformed, Christ will be in the midst of His Church manifested in an eternal body through His Angel Messenger.
And then we will meet Christ to go to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb; and there we will see Him, there we will see Christ, whom we have always desired to see.
But before going to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb, before being transformed and raptured, we have been seeing Him manifested through His angels messengers of His different stages or ages, of the seven ages of the gentile Church and the Age of the Cornerstone. That is the way He would be revealed in His Church, in the seven ages and in the Age of the Cornerstone.
Now, notice how for this Last Day a group of believers in Christ would enter with Christ into the place of the Marriage Supper of the Lamb. Notice how in the Temple of Christ, which is His Church, the Marriage of the Lamb takes place, there before the presence of God in the Most Holy Place of the spiritual Temple of Christ; that is where the miracle of the Marriage of the Lamb with His Church takes place.
It is there where all the sons and daughters of God will come to be transformed and become one with Christ, and Christ will dwell in each of the members of His Church in all His fullness; because both as individuals and also as a Church, as Mystical Body of believers, Christ has been building a spiritual Temple.
As a Church He has been building a Temple for God to dwell in Holy Spirit in all His fullness; and as an individual: He has been building a Temple as an individual, for God to dwell in that individual in all His fullness; by being adopted sons and daughters of God.
Now, in this time in which we live is that, with the adoption of the sons and daughters of God, we are married to Christ.
He in Holy Spirit will be manifested in all the sons and daughters of God; in other words, God in Holy Spirit will be manifested in every person belonging to this Mystical Body of believers. And we will all have the eternal body and the eternal theophanic spirit as well; and we will be a dwelling place of God in Holy Spirit in all its fullness.
And the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ as Mystical Body of believers is also a spiritual Temple for God to dwell in Holy Spirit in all His fullness. And we will have the fullness of Jesus Christ in Holy Spirit in the Last Day, the Holy Spirit manifested through His Angel Messenger.
First it begins with the first fruits, and then we reach the stage of the fullness. Because the Angel of the Covenant, which is Jesus Christ in Holy Spirit, will be manifested in His Angel Messenger in the fulfillment of the first fruits of the Spirit, and then in the fullness of God, where the Angel will receive His eternal body. And God in Holy Spirit, Jesus Christ in Holy Spirit, the Angel of the Covenant, will continue in His Angel Messenger, but He will already be in all His fullness manifested.
And with that manifestation in all its fullness, the Hebrew people will be shocked, and they will say: “But this is what we are waiting for here in Israel! Why such a great blessing among the gentiles?”
When Jacob cast the Birthright Blessing, was it not among the gentiles, did he not place his right hand upon the head of Ephraim? And where the right hand is, there is the Birthright Blessing.
And the right hand of Jesus Christ, the right hand of God, who is Jesus Christ, where is He? He is among the gentiles, in the spiritual Ephraim, the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, in the Age of the Cornerstone and Dispensation of the Kingdom, so that the Birthright Blessings may materialize in Her; and the dead in Christ may be resurrected, and let’s see how each angel messenger with his group becomes a great nation and becomes a mighty Army of Jesus Christ.
Each angel with his group will be a mighty Army that Jesus Christ will have under the leadership of Jesus Christ in Holy Spirit in the Last Day, manifested in the Age of the Cornerstone and Dispensation of the Kingdom through His Angel Messenger.
Now, we can see where we are in the Mystical Body of Christ: we are in the Age of the Marriage of the Lamb. And notice how the Marriage of the Lamb has been fulfilled in the types and figures. And if it was fulfilled in the types and figures, it has to be fulfilled in what has been promised for the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ with the resurrection of the dead in Christ and the transformation of us who live.
With the Word that we have received in our age, the Age of the Cornerstone, and our dispensation, the Dispensation of the Kingdom, that Word of the Gospel of the Kingdom, that Word of the Great Voice of Trumpet, we have been receiving in seed form the Marriage of the Lamb, we have been receiving in seed form the Marriage Supper of the Lamb, we have been receiving in seed form the new body, we have been receiving in seed form the rapture of the elect, we have been receiving in seed form the glorious Millennial Kingdom. All this is in seed form, in Word form, in Message form, in the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the soul of each one of God’s elect.
Here is all that God has promised for this end time: it is in my heart, and the heart, the soul, of every elect of God of this Last Day, to materialize as promised by God.
That is why the Word is received in the soul; for with the soul, with the heart, one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation,19 so that what you have believed may materialize. With our mouth we confess what we have believed in our soul, so that all that we have believed may materialize.
Now, notice that this is the same divine method. Everything that God thought in His Mind, in His Soul, He then spoke it, because He communicated it to His prophets; and when His prophets spoke it, it was God speaking through human flesh; and then what God spoke through His prophets has been materializing.
And we, as we receive the divine thoughts being spoken, being revealed, and receive them into our soul, now they become our thoughts; the thoughts of our soul and of our theophanic body; which we speak in faith, so that all the divine promises, which are yet to be materialized, may thus materialize; and soon we will all be transformed and be in the fullness of the Marriage of the Lamb, with eternal bodies and eternal theophanic spirits as well; and thus be restored to eternal life, from which Adam fell in the Garden of Eden.
The Word, the Title Deed, is given to us for us to eat it; and that happens when we receive the Word, the Gospel of the Kingdom, in our time, and we eat there in our soul that Word; we are eating the Title Deed, the little Book of the Seven Seals; to be restored to eternal life, as Christ has promised for each one of us and for the departed saints in the past ages.
Now, we have seen: “THE MYSTERY OF THE MARRIAGE OF THE LAMB.” It is the union of two beings who love each other: of Christ and His Church; His Church composed of the members of the Mystical Body of Christ, believers in Christ, who have washed away their sins in the Blood of Christ and have received the Spirit of Jesus Christ, so that in this Last Day they may enter the Marriage with the Bridegroom, with the Groom, and thus be united in the holy state of Matrimony with the Son of God for all eternity.
And what God has through Christ and His Church for all eternity, do you know what it is? Well, the whole Divine Program for eternity. So don’t worry about what we are going to do when we have the new body, because God already has everything (how?) programmed. Because God doesn’t do anything without thinking about it first.
It is not as some people say, that they spoke or did something without thinking about it. If they did something without thinking, or if they spoke something without thinking, do you know what happened to that person? He acted crazy; that is, he acted like crazy people act. And by acting as madmen act, he didn’t act correctly.
Moses acted madly when he was filled with anger, Aaron acted madly too; and Aaron acted madly too when he made a golden calf for the Hebrew people.
In the Scripture there are cases where, the Scripture tells us that there were people who acted crazy; in other words, there came a moment in which they acted that way; although they weren’t crazy, but that moment came when they acted that way; and they had serious problems.
Now, notice, the Laodicean Age is poor, blind, wretched and naked,20 worried, and doesn’t know it. How is she? Spiritually insane, and she doesn’t know it.
Now, the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ is sane and is in the most glorious stage of all its stages: it is in the Golden Age, which is the Age of the Cornerstone, which is the Age of the Throne, and it is the Age of the Marriage of the Lamb with His Church, to rule with Christ for a thousand years and then for all eternity.
We are in such an important time that from one moment to another the dead in Christ will resurrect, and those of us who are alive will be transformed.
God has begun a transformation: with the first fruits of the Spirit He has transformed the elect from within, and all that is missing is the external transformation, which is the new body.
Now, notice how this Program for the Marriage of the Lamb, to be carried out in the end time, everything, notice, has been preparing; and everything has been in a process for this great event of the end time, for the great event of the Marriage of the Lamb.
Now, who in the Last Day, in the end time, would be in the Marriage of the Lamb present, and would be marrying Jesus Christ, the Son of God? Well, us in this end time! That is why He sent us to this planet Earth to live on this Earth in this end time: to marry Christ in the Marriage of the Lamb; that is, to be united with Christ, and to be in the image and likeness of our beloved Savior Jesus Christ; and thus be restored to eternal life with an eternal body and an eternal theophanic spirit as well.
“THE MYSTERY OF THE MARRIAGE OF THE LAMB.”
As we receive the Word, that Word becomes incarnate in us. And when that process is finished, our physical bodies will be transformed, and then we will be like our Lord Jesus Christ: adopted into the Kingdom of God.
“THE MYSTERY OF THE MARRIAGE OF THE LAMB.”
May the blessings of Jesus Christ, the Angel of the Covenant, be upon each one of you and upon me also; and may the whole process of the Marriage of the Lamb take place in His Church as Mystical Body of believers, and in each one of you and in me also as individuals; and may we all soon have the new body, and thus be in union with Christ for all eternity. In the Eternal Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen and amen.
We are going to ask Miguel to come by now to continue. Perhaps in the afternoon we will talk to you about the name; because the bride when she is a bride, well, she has her name, but when she marries, she also inherits the name of her husband; and that is the New Name of Jesus Christ, the Eternal Name of God, of which He says that He will write it upon the overcomer.
Do you know that when a girl marries a boy, that girl is an overcomer? One doesn’t know how many struggles she had to get married to that young man, how many times that young man almost lost; but she won, she had her marriage, and she inherited the groom’s (husband’s) name too.
Now notice all that goes with a marriage. And she is heiress also to the husband. Well, let’s leave that alone there; because with the Marriage of the Lamb is that we receive the Inheritance of God, because we are heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ; because Christ is the heir, and with the Marriage is that the Church-Bride of Christ becomes the legitimate heir and current heir of the Inheritance of her Husband; she is joint heir. Now, let’s leave that alone. On another occasion when we talk about the Marriage of the Lamb, we will briefly talk more on that, and maybe in the afternoon we will also talk a little bit about that, if God allows us.
In the afternoon we will have the subject: “THE MYSTERY OF THE MARRIAGE SUPPER OF THE LAMB.”
The Marriage is here on Earth, and the Supper is in Heaven; which we will see in the next activity.
Who will be at the Marriage Supper of the Lamb? Well, all of us! All those who would be at the Marriage of the Lamb are those who will be at the Marriage Supper of the Lamb.
Well, let’s ask Miguel to come by here to continue and finish our part in this evening or this day, thanking Christ for His blessings, and for the Marriage of the Lamb.
When the last phase of the Marriage of the Lamb is fulfilled, we will all be in the Marriage of the Lamb in all its fullness, with our eternal and glorified body, with our beloved Lord Jesus Christ.
Well, may God continue to bless you all, may God keep you; and with us again Miguel Bermudez Marin.
