The mystery of the seven angels sounding the seven trumpets

Good afternoon, beloved friends and brethren present. It is a great blessing for me to be with you on this occasion, to share with you a few moments of fellowship around the Word of God and His Program relevant to this end time.

The topic for this occasion is: “THE MYSTERY OF THE SEVEN ANGELS SOUNDING THE SEVEN TRUMPETS.”

In Revelation, chapter 8, verse 1 to 5, we read:

“And when he had opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven about the space of half an hour.

And I saw the seven angels which stood before God; and to them were given seven trumpets.

And another angel came and stood at the altar, having a golden censer; and there was given unto him much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne.

And the smoke of the incense, which came with the prayers of the saints, ascended up before God out of the angel’s hand.

And the angel took the censer, and filled it with fire of the altar, and cast it into the earth: and there were voices, and thunderings, and lightnings, and an earthquake.”

May God bless our souls with His Word and allow us to understand It. Our topic is: “THE MYSTERY OF THE SEVEN ANGELS SOUNDING THE TRUMPETS.”

To begin with, in this chapter 8 we have the opening of the Seventh Seal; and the Seventh Seal is the Second Coming of Christ. And with the opening of the Seventh Seal in Heaven is that these seven angels appear; in other words, it is not before the opening of the Seventh Seal, but when the Seventh Seal is opened in Heaven, then these seven angels that stand before God appear and they were given seven trumpets.

We also find that another Angel came and stood before the altar with a golden censer, and was given much incense to add to the prayers of the saints, upon the golden Altar that was before the Throne.

The golden censer was the one used on the day of atonement, and it was the censer with which also the high priest entered the most holy place; therefore, in Heaven something great will be happening under this time where the seven angels receive the trumpets, to thus carry out the work that corresponds to them. And notice, this Angel with the golden censer will be doing the same as the high priest did on Earth.

And now, here on Earth, when the high priest with the golden censer in the earthly temple presented the incense before God, he covered all the mercy seat, all the most holy place, in other words, it was filled with the smoke of incense; and since in Revelation, chapter 5, it also speaks of the incense…; and it says in chapter 5, verse 8 and on:

“And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints.”

And now, notice who has the incense in these golden vials (and they are the prayers of the saints).

“And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;

And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.”

Now, we can see that this is a great event in Heaven, in which the prayers of the saints… for the saints of all ages, who have departed, have been praying for their return to Earth, they have been praying for the resurrection, to be back on Earth but in an eternal and glorified body; in clearer words, they have been praying for the redemption, the redemption of the body; and this is for the Day of Redemption, which is the day when Christ will resurrect the dead believers in Him, and He will transform us who are alive.

Now, notice how it is for the time when the Seventh Seal is opened in Heaven, that these seven angels appear with seven trumpets that they receive to sound them.

And now, since there are things here that shouldn’t be spoken for the time being, I will only speak of a few of them. Let’s see the Sixth and Seventh Trumpet, and let’s see the Sixth and Seventh… the Seventh Trumpet and the Sixth Vial. In Revelation, chapter 9, verse 13, it says:

“And the sixth angel sounded, and I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar which is before God,

Saying to the sixth angel which had the trumpet, Loose the four angels which are bound in the great river Euphrates.

And the four angels were loosed, which were prepared for an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year, for to slay the third part of men.

And the number of the army of the horsemen were two hundred thousand thousand: and I heard the number of them.

And thus I saw the horses in the vision, and them that sat on them, having breastplates of fire, and of jacinth, and brimstone: and the heads of the horses were as the heads of lions; and out of their mouths issued fire and smoke and brimstone.

By these three was the third part of men killed, by the fire, and by the smoke, and by the brimstone, which issued out of their mouths.

For their power is in their mouth, and in their tails: for their tails were like unto serpents, and had heads, and with them they do hurt.

And the rest of the men which were not killed by these plagues yet repented not of the works of their hands, that they should not worship devils, and idols of gold, and silver, and brass, and stone, and of wood: which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk:

Neither repented they of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornication, nor of their thefts.”

And now we read in chapter 15. Let’s see… 16, because the angels also appear here. Notice, in chapter 15, so that you have a clear picture, it says:

“And I saw another sign in heaven, great and marvellous, seven angels having the seven last plagues; for in them is filled up the wrath of God.”

And the, verses 5 and on, it says:

“And after that I looked, and, behold, the temple of the tabernacle of the testimony in heaven was opened (that is the Most Holy Place):

And the seven angels came out of the temple, having the seven plagues, clothed in pure and white linen, and having their breasts girded with golden girdles (having golden girdles, it shows us that they are as judges).

And one of the four beasts gave unto the seven angels seven golden vials full of the wrath of God, who liveth for ever and ever (and remember that these are the last plagues).

And the temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God, and from his power; and no man was able to enter into the temple, till the seven plagues of the seven angels were fulfilled.”

And now, let’s look at the sixth vial, it says [Revelation 16:12]:

“And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared.

And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet.

For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.

Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.

And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon.”

Now we see how the Sixth Trumpet and the sixth plague of the Sixth Vial go parallel. And now let’s look at the Seventh Trumpet with the Seventh Vial: In Revelation, chapter 11, verse 15 and on, it says:

“And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.

And the four and twenty elders, which sat before God on their seats, fell upon their faces, and worshipped God,

Saying, We give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come; because thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and hast reigned.

And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.

And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his testament: and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail.”

And now, let’s look at chapter 16, verse 17 to 21, of Revelation, the Seventh Vial:

“And the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air; and there came a great voice out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, It is done (it is the Voice of God from the Throne of God).

And there were voices, and thunders, and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such as was not since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake, and so great.

And the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell: and great Babylon came in remembrance before God, to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath.

And every island fled away, and the mountains were not found.

And there fell upon men a great hail out of heaven, every stone about the weight of a talent: and men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail; for the plague thereof was exceeding great.”

Now notice how the Seventh Trumpet and the Seventh Vial speak to us of what will be happening in this end time.

And now, let’s see what Reverend William Branham said in the message “What is the attraction on the Mountain?” He says¹:

“Now we see a last-day happening! Let’s just turn a few pages on, in Zechariah, and see what he said about it. Let’s turn it over then for the last days. That was the middle age; let’s turn now to the last days. And turn over to Zechariah, the 14th chapter, and beginning with the 4th verse. And listen! And we’re going to read down a portion of the Scripture, about nine verses, from 4 to 9. Listen close. And it’s prophesying of His Coming, the last days. Listen close now. This is THUS SAITH THE LORD. It’s the Scriptures, Zechariah 14. Remember Zechariah 9, what It said? And they didn’t recognize It. Now what is it today? Zechariah 14, speaking of His Coming.

‘And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, again, which is before Jerusalem on the east, on the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof towards the east and towards the west, and there shall be a very great valley;… half of the mountain shall be moved towards the north, and half… towards the south.

And ye shall flee to the valley of the mountains; for the valley of the mountains shall reach from Azal: yea, ye shall flee, like you fled in the days of the earthquake in the days of Uzziah the king of Judah:…’

Another earthquake splitting open the earth! If you want to follow out a Scripture here, notice in this 5th verse, it applies that the cleaving of the Mount of Olives is due to an earthquake, and this is confirmed by Isaiah 29:6 and Revelation 16:9.”

Revelation 16, verse 9, is what he said here. Let’s see what he says over here. It has to be Revelation, chapter 16, verses 17 to 20, which is where that earthquake is.

“Exactly! What is it? The same prophet told of His first coming, seen His second Coming. Notice, ‘As in the days of the earthquake.’ See what the earthquakes are doing? See the predictions of them?

‘…and the Lord your God shall come, and all of his saints with thee.

And it shall come to pass in that day, (hallelujah) in that day, that the light shall not be clear, or dark:…’”

And he continues there telling us about the things that will be happening.

Now notice how this chapter 16 of Revelation speaks to us of that earthquake that will come in this end time. And now, it also speaks of a blessing for the Church of Jesus Christ, then for the Hebrew people. It says, page 19 of the message “What is the attraction on the Mountain?”:

“Oh, there will be a true former and latter rain in the last days upon that little group that come with Him (here it should be: ‘that accompanies Him’) on this little donkey, low and humble, no don-…or denomination, crying, ‘Hosanna to the King that comes in the Name of the Lord!’ What’s the matter today? What’s the attraction on the mount?”

And now, what is the attraction on the Mount of God, on Mount Zion, the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ for the Last Day, what will be that attraction? Well, the Second Coming of Christ.

And now, notice the mystery for the Mount of Olives there, and for Mount Zion, the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, in the Last Day.

Now, the Angel that will have the Seventh Trumpet will be here for this end time, and that is why he appears in the book of Revelation, chapter 11, where the ministry of the Two Olive Trees is. And Mount Zion, the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, is also the Mount of Olives spiritually, for there will be the Two Olive Trees; and she is also the Mount of Olives for the following reason (spiritually speaking): Because a mountain represents a kingdom.

Romans, chapter 11, verse 25 and on, it says:

“For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.

And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:

For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins.

As concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, they are (very) beloved for the father’s sakes.

For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance.”

Now, in this passage, if we read a little before that… here it speaks of the Church of Jesus Christ; and when the fullness of the Church of Jesus Christ has come in, the fullness of the gentiles, when the last of the elect of God has entered, then Christ will finish His Work of Intercession in Heaven and will claim all that He has redeemed with His precious Blood, He will resurrect the dead in Christ and He will transform us, and the whole Church of Jesus Christ will be complete, from the elect of the past ages to the elect of this end time; and the Church of Jesus Christ will be standing, with eternal bodies, and that is the Army of the Rider of Revelation, chapter 19. That is the group of thousands of angels with whom the Lord comes in His Coming.

Now, notice, in order to turn to the Hebrew people He will be with those thousands of angels, which are the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ. He said that in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but they are how? As the angels of God.

Now let’s see a little more, let’s read: Verse 15 and on, of Romans, chapter 11, it says:

“For if the casting away of them be the reconciling of the world, what shall the receiving of them be, but life from the dead?”

In other words, if the exclusion of the Hebrews was the reconciliation for the gentiles, for the human beings among the gentiles and every person whose name is written in Heaven, in the Lamb’s Book of Life, what will be their admission, the admission of the Hebrews, to the Covenant of God, to the New Covenant? It will be life from the dead.

“For if the firstfruit be holy, the lump is also holy: and if the root be holy, so are the branches.

And if some of the branches be broken off, and thou, being a wild olive tree, wert grafted in among them, and with them partakest of the root and fatness of the olive tree;…”

Now notice that the Hebrew branches were cut off, and gentile branches were placed there: The different stages of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ. And where were they placed? In the Olive Tree. And if the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ is Mount Zion, it is the Mount of Olives; it is the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ represented in the Mount of Olives and represented in Mount Zion; because the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, notice, all the branches have been placed in the good Olive Tree, because it is from the good Olive Tree that she receives the oil, receives Life. It says:

“Boast not against the branches. But if thou boast, thou bearest not the root, but the root thee.

Thou wilt say then, The branches were broken off (that is, the Hebrew branches), that I might be grafted in.

Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by faith. Be not highminded, but fear:

For if God spared not the natural branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee.

Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.

And they also, if they abide not still in unbelief, shall be grafted in: for God is able to graft them in again.”

And that will be done through the ministry of the Two Olive Trees, to place the original branches in the original Olive Tree: The Hebrew people.

And now, in order for the Hebrew people to be placed in the original Olive Tree —for they are original olive tree branches—, now it is required that the seven stages of the Church have already elapsed, have already passed, and that what is left are denominational branches; and Christ will cut the branches of the end time, the branches that belong to past ages but those ages have already ended, therefore they have to be cut, and the Hebrew branches will be placed.

Now, in the Last Day we reach a stage, an age, where Christ will have gentiles and Hebrews; and that is the Age of the Cornerstone. And there, in that branch that comes out of the stem of the original Olive Tree… if a branch, if an offshoot comes out of the stem of the Olive Tree, what kind of offshoot is it? It is an offshoot of the original Olive Tree, it is nothing less than the promised blessing of the Two Olive Trees, to place the Hebrew branches on the original Olive Tree. But He will first call the elect from among the gentiles, gather them in the Mystical Body of Christ, and then He will call 144,000 Hebrews.

Now we can see where we are in the Divine Program. It is under the ministry of the Two Olive Trees that the Seventh Trumpet sounds; because the Seventh Trumpet is Moses and Elijah, and it is also the Coming of the Lord. And how can those two things be? Simple, because Jesus said in Matthew, chapter 16, verse 27, that the Son of Man will come with… He will come in the glory of His Father with His Angels, and then He will pay each one according to his works.

The Son of Man comes with His Angels: Where the manifestation of the Son of Man is, there will be the Angels of the Son of Man, which are the Two Olive Trees: Moses and Elijah.

And now, let’s see what Reverend William Branham said in relation to the Seventh Trumpet and the Seventh Seal. On page 128 of the book of Quotations, verse 1143, it says²:

“Under the Seventh Trumpet, is to Israel the same as the Seventh Seal was to the Church.”

And what is the Seventh Seal for the Church? The Coming of the Lord. And what will the Seventh Trumpet be for Israel? The Coming of the Lord.

Now, let’s see this more clearly. On page 129 he also speaks to us, verse 1150, and it tells us³:

“Now, as soon as this Church (the Bride) is drawed together, She is taken up; and that mystery of the Seventh Seal, or the Seventh Seal, the mystery of going (that is, the mystery of the Second Coming is known by the Church). And the Jews is called by the mystery of the Seventh Trumpet, which is two prophets, Elijah and Moses.”

See that the mystery of the Seventh Trumpet is Moses and Elijah? They are the ministries of Moses and Elijah manifested, and now, giving the Message to the Hebrew people.

And now, let’s look at another place: On page 130, verse 1164, it says⁴:

“Remember, that, ‘They which are alive and remain shall not hinder those which are sleeping, for the Trump of God, that last Trumpet…’ The sixth one has just sounded. And that last Trumpet, like the last Seal, will be the Coming of the Lord. ‘It shall sound, and the dead in Christ shall rise first.’”

What will the Seventh Trumpet be? The same as the Seventh Seal for the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ. Then, what is the Seventh Trumpet and what is the Seventh Seal? Well, it says that it is the Coming of the Lord: The Coming of the Lord for the Church and the Coming of the Lord for the Hebrew people.

On page 149, verse 1333, it says⁵:

“Remember, that, ‘They which are alive and remain shall not hinder those which are sleeping, for the Trump of God, that last Trumpet…’ The sixth one has just sounded. And that last Trumpet, like the last Seal, will be the Coming of the Lord. ‘It shall sound, and the dead in Christ shall rise first.’ Just resting till that time.”

And now, regarding the plagues, let’s see what he tells us. We have already seen that the Seventh Trumpet and the Seventh Seal is the same thing: It is the Coming of the Lord. And now, on page 246 of the book of The Seals it says (half way down the page it says)… let’s see, it says⁶:

“^[113]Tomorrow night, strikes the souls under the altar. The next night, the judgments.

¹¹⁴ The next night, the going away, of the—of the end of the age, end of time, of all things, see, when She is taken up. Therefore, right in that Seventh Seal there, pours out Vials, and everything else are poured out.”

The vials and everything else is poured out in the Seventh Seal. And the Seventh Seal and the Seventh Trumpet, both are one thing: The Coming of the Lord; it is at the Coming of the Lord that the vials and everything else is poured out.

And now, let’s see what page 149 of the book of Quotations says, verse 1332, it says⁷:

“You know, in the last days there is supposed to be them plagues repeat again.”

Those plagues are to be repeated in the last days.

Now we can see that these plagues and these vials are poured out under the Seventh Seal. That is why under the Seventh Seal, which is also the Seventh Trumpet for the Hebrews, come the divine judgments for the human race, in a certain part of the Seventh Seal, at the end of the Seventh Seal.

Now, we can see that what is there is a great mystery, and everything is involved in the Seventh Trumpet and Seventh Seal. Everything is involved in the Seventh Trumpet, which is the Sixth Seal, which, notice, are the ministries of Moses and Elijah; and since the Son of Man comes with His Angels, where the fulfillment of the Coming of the Son of Man is, there will be the ministries of the Two Olive Trees.

And now, notice why this Sixth Seal and Seventh Seal are so mysterious, and this Seventh Trumpet. That Seventh Trumpet is the Last Trumpet or Great Voice of Trumpet, which sounds and all the elect of God are called and gathered; because the Trumpet of God will sound (for what?) to call and gather all the elect of God.

On page 46 of the book of Quotations, verse 402, it says⁸:

“‘For we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord…’”

See for whom the blessing of the transformation will be: For those who have remained until the Coming of the Lord and see the dead in Christ resurrected, then those people will be transformed, who will already, therefore, be born again believers in Christ, who will be in the age relevant to this end time, which is the Age of the Cornerstone, maturing as believers. It goes on to say:

“‘…down here, shall not prevent or hinder those which are asleep.’ Them precious ones that sealed their blood… sealed their testimony with their blood. ‘Not prevent or hinder those that are asleep, for the trumpet will sound.’ Something will take place, ‘the Gospel something will sound,’ the announcing of His coming.”

That gospel something: The Gospel of the Kingdom, revealing, sounding, revealing the mystery of the Second Coming of Christ with His Angels. That is the mystery of which Christ said⁹:

“For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works.”

For some: The blessings of Heaven; for others: The divine judgments. That is why the divine judgments are under the Seventh Seal and Seventh Trumpet, the divine judgments are poured out, the vials are poured out.

Now, we can see that that gospel something sounding is the Great Voice of Trumpet of the Gospel of the Kingdom revealing the mystery of the Second Coming of Christ with His Angels in this end time. And notice that it is under the sounding of the Seventh Trumpet that the blessing for the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ and the divine judgment for the world will come.

Now, we have seen, as far as we have been able to see, the mystery of the angels, of the seven angels sounding the seven trumpets.

Remember that the Seventh Trumpet is sounded by the Two Olive Trees; by the Two Olive Trees, which are Moses and Elijah, the ministries of Moses and Elijah manifested by the Angel of the Lord in the Angel of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Did you see how simple everything is? Everything is so simple that if we don’t watch, the whole Program of God relevant to this end time will pass over us.

Now, we are not waiting for the divine judgments, but the divine blessings, our preparation, the revelation of God for us, which is the faith to be raptured, the revelation to be raptured, which is the revelation of the Second Coming of Christ with His Angels in this end time; to be prepared – called, gathered and prepared, so that when the dead in Christ are resurrected and we see them, we will be transformed.

Everything is simple; and what Christ has for us are blessings, blessings for each one of you and for me too.

Hold on tight to Christ, the Angel of the Lord, as Jacob held on¹⁰; for He has promised to be manifested in the midst of His Church for this time. Hold on tight to that manifestation of Christ in the Last Day, in order to obtain all the divine revelation from Him, and to obtain His blessings, and to be transformed in this end time, for what He has for us are blessings. Hold on tight to Him, and you will obtain the blessings of Christ.</sup>

I am holding on to Him, the Angel of the Lord, the Angel of the Covenant, the Mighty Angel that descends from Heaven in Revelation 10, to obtain His blessings in this end time. Hold tightly to Him too, and we will obtain all His blessings in this end time.

It has been a great privilege for me to be with you on this occasion, testifying to you of: “THE MYSTERY OF THE SEVEN ANGELS SOUNDING THE SEVEN TRUMPETS.”

May the blessings of Jesus Christ, the Angel of the Covenant, be upon all of you and upon me also, and may we all soon be transformed, along with the dead in Christ when they are resurrected, and taken with Christ to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb in Heaven. In the Eternal Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen and amen.

So there were things left unspoken there, but they are there; maybe in some occasion God will allow me to speak them; but for now, with what we know… We know that the Seventh Trumpet and the Seventh Seal is the Coming of the Lord; we know that the Angel that was different from the rest, of the seven angels that appeared to the Reverend William Branham…, seven angels appeared to him, and the Reverend William Branham, being an angel messenger of the ages, then there would be eight angel messengers here in that great gathering of angel messengers of God.

The Angel that was different from the rest, which is up here, that was the One that had the Seventh Seal, and that is the One who has the mystery of the Seventh Seal and the Seventh Trumpet. Do you see how simple it is? It is the mystery of the Angel that was different from the rest, that is the mystery of the Seventh Trumpet and the mystery of the Seventh Seal, because that is the mystery of the Coming of the Lord, the Coming of the Angel that was different from the rest.

Well, here we have Reverend Miguel Bermudez Marin already, to conclude our part tonight thanking Christ for His blessings, and for allowing us to hear and understand these things related to these angels, and above all, this seventh Angel and this Seventh Trumpet.
