Good evening, friends and brethren present, and radio listeners. It is a great privilege to be with you tonight, to share some moments of fellowship with you around the Word of prophecy, and to see the time in which we find ourselves, in the Divine Program.
So let’s read a Scripture here in Second Peter chapter 1, verses 19 to 21, where it tells us the following:
“We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:
Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.
For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.”
Our subject for this occasion is: “THE MYSTERY OF THE WORD OF PROPHECY.”
We find that the Word of prophecy contains a mystery, and Its mystery is that this is the Divine Word, the Word of God that has been spoken to be fulfilled; “Surely God will do nothing without first revealing His secrets to His servants, His prophets.”1
That Word of prophecy comes from the seventh dimension, It goes through the sixth dimension, and then It comes to this earthly dimension through God’s prophets, who catch It in the sixth dimension (which is the dimension of the theophany), and they bring It to human beings, here on Earth; they make It known, and It is also left in letter form; and then that Word of prophecy is fulfilled at the relevant time of God.
And that is how we have seen, throughout the history of the human race, that the Word of prophecy has been fulfilled from age to age and from dispensation to dispensation; because God has put forth a Word of prophecy for each age and for each dispensation; surely He will do nothing without first revealing it to His servants the prophets.
In other words, the Word of prophecy regarding the things that will happen is already given by God; because before God carries out His Program, He makes it known to the human race through His prophets; “Surely the Lord God will do nothing without first revealing His secrets to His servants the prophets.” (Amos chapter 3, verse 7.)
And we also find that, through the Prophet Moses, God spoke to us in the Book of Deuteronomy chapter 18, verses 15 to 19, telling us:
“The Lord thy God will raise up unto thee a Prophet from the midst of thee, of thy brethren, like unto me; unto him ye shall hearken;
According to all that thou desiredst of the Lord thy God in Horeb in the day of the assembly, saying, Let me not hear again the voice of the Lord my God, neither let me see this great fire any more, that I die not.
And the Lord said unto me, They have well spoken that which they have spoken.
I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him.
And it shall come to pass, that whosoever will not hearken unto my words which he shall speak in my name, I will require it of him.”
In the Book of Acts, chapter 3, verses 22 to 23, it says: “I will destroy him from among the people;” for the person loses the right to Eternal Life, he loses the right to belong to the people of God.
Now, notice where God puts His Word: He always puts it in the mouth of the prophet He sends for each age or for each dispensation. And that is why we have the Bible: the Word of God brought through human beings; but the Spirit of God, the Spirit of Christ, is the One that has been in those men of God, who spoke being moved by the Spirit of Christ, the Holy Spirit, and spoke that Word of prophecy.
Now, we can see that the Word of prophecy has always been in the mouth of the prophets that God has sent. That is the place where we can find the Word of prophecy of each time in which God sends that Word. And He (God) comes in that prophet; and among the people, he comes testifying of the things that will happen.
God comes testifying everything that will happen in the future, and the things that are happening in the present, and the things that happened in the past. That is why everything that God will do is founded upon the Word of prophecy. In other words, God won’t do anything without first revealing it to His servants, His prophets.
Notice the First Coming of Christ: We find the First Coming of Christ starting from Genesis chapter 3, verse 15, where God said, back then, on the occasion when he called the human being (and also the serpent) to judgment, it says… Chapter 3, verse 14 to 15, says:
“And the Lord God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life.”
Back then, the serpent didn’t crawl, it walked upright; and it was the missing link that science is searching for, between the chimpanzee and man.
Notice, it spoke, it reasoned; and it beguiled Eve. And that is why the curse came upon the serpent; and the serpent race, that animal race, which was similar to the human being (but didn’t have a soul), received God’s curse and was turned into a reptile.
But we find that science has been finding bodies or skeletons, bones, of beings that existed thousands or millions of years ago. And do you know what science has been finding? They have been finding the skeletons of the race that was between the human being and the chimpanzee; in other words, they are finding the remains of that serpent race which existed before the fall of the human being, and which received God’s curse.
And now, notice what God says:
“And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed…”
Now, when it refers to the woman’s Seed, who is that referring to? To Christ, who came through a woman, through the virgin Mary. This promise of the woman’s Seed is Christ.
“…It shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.”
Christ was bruised in the heel on Calvary’s Cross, but Christ bruised the devil’s head by taking away the devil’s power.
And now, we can see that the woman’s Son or Seed was Christ, He is promised there. And then we find in Isaiah chapter 7… there are other passages, but let’s look at these; chapter 7, verse 14, says:
“Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.”
And when this promise was fulfilled, notice, it was fulfilled in the Person of Jesus of Nazareth. But the Coming of the Messiah was already announced in the Word of prophecy, through a virgin, which was the virgin Mary, who conceived of the Holy Spirit when It overshadowed Mary; and a life cell, a blood cell, was created in Mary’s womb, which multiplied cell after cell, and after a period of time of about nine months, the child Jesus was born.
Where was He born? In Bethlehem of Judea. And why was He born in Bethlehem of Judea? Because that is also what is written in the prophecy of Micah chapter 5, verse 2. That prophecy speaks to us about the Coming of the Messiah. And in chapter 2 of the Gospel according to Saint Matthew, when Christ was born, it tells us the following:
“Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem,
Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him.
When Herod the king had heard these things, he was troubled, and all Jerusalem with him.
And when he had gathered all the chief priests and scribes of the people together, he demanded of them where Christ should be born.
And they said unto him, In Bethlehem of Judaea: for thus it is written by the prophet,
And thou Bethlehem, in the land of Juda, art not the least among the princes of Juda: for out of thee shall come a Governor, that shall rule my people Israel.
Then Herod, when he had privily called the wise men, enquired of them diligently what time the star appeared.
And he sent them to Bethlehem, and said, Go and search diligently for the young child; and when ye have found him, bring me word again, that I may come and worship him also.”
Now, notice that even the birth of Christ in Bethlehem of Judea was already prophesied by the Prophet Micah; because the Spirit of God had revealed that prophetic mystery to the Prophet Micah, and then it was fulfilled in Bethlehem of Judea.
Now, notice, Mary and Joseph lived in Nazareth, although they were descendants of King David. They were part of the seed that came from King David; therefore, Mary was a princess and Joseph was a prince, although they were poor; but their economic status doesn’t take away the position they had by being descendants of King David.
And now, notice, through the seed of King David, Christ would come, according to the Divine Promise, He would sit on the Throne of David. That is why the Archangel Gabriel appeared to a virgin there in Bethlehem of Judea, a descendant of King David.
It says in Saint Luke chapter 1, verse 26 and on, it says:
“And in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God unto a city of Galilee, named Nazareth,
To a virgin espoused to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin’s name was Mary.”
Now, notice that Joseph was of the house of David, meaning, David’s family. When it makes reference to the house of David, it is referring to the seed of David; just like when it makes reference to the House of God, it is referring to the Seed of God, to God’s sons and daughters, and those are the members of the mystical Body of Christ, the members of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, who have believed in Christ as their Savior, washed away their sins in the Blood of Christ, and received the Spirit of Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit, and therefore, they have been born again, they have been born into the Kingdom of God, into the House of God.
And now, notice that this House of God is the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, made up of God’s sons and daughters: the born-again people.
And now, here, Joseph is of the house of David, meaning, of David’s family, of David’s seed; it says:
“And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou that art highly favoured, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women.
And when she saw him, she was troubled at his saying, and cast in her mind what manner of salutation this should be.
And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God.
And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name Jesus.
He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David:
And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end.”
Now, notice how here God tells Mary through the Archangel Gabriel that the Son she will have will be named Jesus; He even gave her the child’s name, for her to call Him that Name; because that Name means ‘Savior’ or ‘Redeemer.’ And in His First Coming, Christ would come as the Lamb of God to take away the sin of the world, and thus, to save all of God’s sons and daughters.
And now, notice, here the Archangel tells her that God will give Him the Throne of His father David; so He appears as the Son of David, because He comes through a young virgin who is a descendant of King David, and Joseph was also a descendant of King David.
That is why the Archangel tells her: “Fear not, son of David…”2 that is, let’s see what He tells Joseph. On one occasion, or on two occasions, the Archangel Gabriel speaks to Joseph, and He says he is of the seed of David, and this is because Joseph was a descendant of King David.
And now, notice how Mary, being a descendant of King David, is the virgin of whom God had spoken through the Prophet Isaiah: that she would conceive and bear a Son, and His Name would be called Emmanuel, which being interpreted is: God with us.
Now, notice how the name Emmanuel, which means: God with us, is Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is God with us.
“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.”
That is in John chapter 1, verse 1. And also in Saint John chapter 1, verse 14, it says:
“And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us…”
When the Word was made flesh… the Word, which is God, was made flesh and dwelt among us, that was Emmanuel, and His Name was Jesus Christ.
And now, notice how it had to be through a virgin woman of the seed of King David; because the promise was made to David: that from his seed God, would raise up One who would sit on the Throne of David forever, for all eternity. That is the Son of David: the seed of David promised in the Scripture.
Even though Solomon was David’s son and he sat on the throne of David, but that was temporary, and he was representing Jesus Christ, the One who would sit on the Throne of David for all eternity.
Just as Jesus Christ is also the Son of Abraham, but Isaac is the son of Abraham, who was promised to Abraham, who came by flesh through Sarah, Abraham’s wife. But the Seed of Abraham, which God spoke to him about, in which all families of the Earth would be blessed,3 was none other than Jesus Christ.
And through Christ, all the families of the Gentiles have been blessed: through the preaching of the Gospel, and by believing in Christ as our Savior, and receiving His Holy Spirit, the Gentiles have been blessed, and people have been receiving salvation as individuals, and they have become part of the mystical Body of Christ, that heavenly Israel, and that heavenly Jerusalem.
Just like also among the Hebrew people, thousands of people in different stages have also become part—they have become part of the mystical Body of Jesus Christ; because of both people (of the Hebrew people and of the Gentile people) God has been making a new people,4 a people with Eternal Life, which receive salvation and receive the new birth, and therefore, receive Eternal Life; because Eternal Life is hidden in our beloved Lord Jesus Christ. All of that had been prophesied and it was fulfilled in Christ.
And now, notice how from age to age, God has been calling and gathering all of those people, all of those souls of God who appear on this Earth in mortal bodies but have had their names written in the Lamb’s Book of Life before the foundation of the world; those are the sheep of Christ, the Good Shepherd. And Christ said that no man would pluck them out of His hand;5 in other words, those people come from God.
They are also represented in the wheat, which are the children of the Kingdom;6 and they are also represented in the good fish of the parable of the net.7
And now, here in Saint John chapter 10, verses 14 to 16, Christ tells us:
“I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine.
As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep.
And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold,” (meaning that they are not of the Hebrew Fold), “them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.”
Now, notice how Christ says that He has other sheep; those are sheep from among the Gentiles, people whose names have been written in the Lamb’s Book of Life before the foundation of the world, who, in the time in which they would be given to live, would hear the Voice of Christ in their age and dispensation, and would believe in Christ as our Savior, wash away their sins in the Blood of Jesus Christ, and receive the Spirit of Jesus Christ.
“…And they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.”
That has been happening from stage to stage, from age to age.
In this diagram, we find the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ,8 and it has been going from age to age among the Gentiles.
The first age was fulfilled in Asia Minor, and its messenger was Saint Paul the Apostle. Saint Paul said: “I live; yet not I, but Christ lives in me.”9 Through Saint Paul, there in Asia Minor God was calling His sheep from among the Gentiles.
Saint Paul wanted to go to Bithynia on one occasion, and the Holy Spirit forbade him.10 Why? Because the sheep of Christ were in Asia Minor; and that is where Saint Paul had to go with the Message of the Gospel of Grace, because the sheep that Christ would have in Asia Minor would hear the Voice of Christ there; and the first stage or age of the Gentile Church was fulfilled there, and from there, the Message spread to other nations.
Then we find that the second, third, fourth, fifth, and sixth ages were fulfilled in Europe, where Christ sent five messengers for each age, and where God, through the messenger of each age, called and gathered His sheep in each of these five ages of the Gentile Church fulfilled there in Europe; just as He called and gathered the sheep in Asia Minor who lived in that first stage or age of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Through each one of His angel-messengers, notice, Christ was speaking in those past ages; because they would hear His Voice, and there would be one Fold and one Shepherd. The fold is the mystical Body of Christ, meaning, the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ; and the Voice of Christ has been in these messengers of each age.
And the seventh age of the Gentile Church was fulfilled in North America, where God sent His seventh angel-messenger, Rev. William Branham, and through him, He called and gathered His sheep in North America.
And now, we have reached the end time, and now those seven stages or ages have already passed, and those messengers have already gone. And if you will receive him, Rev. William Branham was the forerunner of the Second Coming of Christ; and he is already gone; but he left his Message printed and recorded on magnetic tapes.
He was the Elijah who would come before the Dreadful Day of the Lord, he was the Elijah in his fourth manifestation; because when God promises the coming of Elijah, what He does is send the ministry of the Prophet Elijah in another man, in another prophet.
Notice, when Elisha opened the Jordan with the mantle of Elijah, when the sons of the prophets saw that, they said: “The Spirit of Elijah has rested upon Elisha.”11 That was the second manifestation of the ministry of Elijah: the second time was in another man, in Elisha.
The third time was in John the Baptist, of whom Christ tells us the following in Saint Matthew chapter 11… and I want to read that passage so we have a clear picture of what the promise of a prophet is, for the coming of a prophet who already came in the past.
Notice, when Christ spoke about John the Baptist in chapter 11 of Saint Matthew, verse 9 and on, He said:
“But what went ye out for to see? A prophet? yea, I say unto you, and more than a prophet.
For this is he, of whom it is written, Behold, I send my messenger before thy face, which shall prepare thy way before thee.”
That was said by the Prophet Isaiah, in chapter 40, verse 3 and on.
“Verily I say unto you, Among them that are born of women there hath not risen a greater than John the Baptist: notwithstanding he that is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he.”
How can it be possible for the least in the Kingdom of Heaven to be greater than John the Baptist, whom Jesus Christ said is the greatest of the prophets who had been sent? It is because the least in the Kingdom of Heaven is the least of the mystical Body of Christ, of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ.
And now, the prophets of the Old Testament are prophets of the Hebrew people, which are the people who are the servants. And the members of the mystical Body of Christ are God’s sons and daughters. And which is greater: a servant or a son? A child of God is greater to God than a servant.
And in the house of the lords in ancient times, which was greater: a son, the son of the owner of that great estate, or the greatest servant? The youngest child, a newborn, was greater than the greatest servant of any man in past times.
For example, in the case of Abraham: the servant Eliezer, the greatest servant, was the administrator in Abraham’s house; and if Abraham had never had a son, who would be Abraham’s heir?
Abraham said: “Look, God, You have not given me seed, You have not given me a son: and since I don’t have a son, Eliezer my servant will be my heir.” God told him: “Your servant will not be your heir, Eliezer will not be your heir; one who will come from your loins will be your heir.”12 And He even gave him the name of the son he would have, He told him he would be called Isaac, and that he would come through Sarah, even though they were already old.
But is anything impossible for God? No, nothing. “Heaven and Earth shall pass away, but My Words shall not pass away,” God says. He says that in the Old Testament13 and also in the New Testament.14
Now, notice, because Abraham had believed the Divine Promise, the Word of God, that Word had to be fulfilled in the life of Abraham. It didn’t matter how much time passed, God said it, and God had to fulfill it. Because He fulfills what He promised, because “He is not man, that He should lie, neither the son of man, that He should repent;”15 He will do as He has said.
Now, notice, when Abraham was ninety-nine years old, we find that God appeared to him, before the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah, and again He spoke to him about the son he would have.
Sarah laughed, and God said: “Why has Sarah laughed (there in her heart)?” Sarah told Him: “I did not laugh,” because she had not laughed on the outside with her lips but in her heart. But God told her: “You did laugh,” Elohim told her that. And He told him: “Is anything impossible for God? At the appointed time, I will come and your wife Sarah will have the son, a son.”16
And now, notice that Sarah was eighty-nine years old and Abraham was ninety-nine years old; but when Abraham turned one hundred years old and Sarah was ninety, the son was born. What happened in the life of Abraham and Sarah? Since they were already old, they couldn’t have children, but God rejuvenated them and they were able to have the son.
Notice, when (we find that when Sarah was eighty-nine years old, and Abraham was ninety-nine) they went to another city, the king of that other city, Abimelech, fell in love with Sarah.17 And what king would fall in love with an eighty-nine-year-old woman? See?
So God rejuvenated Sarah, and even King Abimelech fell in love with her. And Sarah was a very beautiful woman; and now rejuvenated, she was young again, and Sarah and Abraham were ready to have the promised son.
And do you know something: that God has promised a rejuvenation for each of His believers?
God says, Christ says (later on we will continue what we are reading here): in Saint John chapter 6, verse 39 to 40, He says:
“And this is the Father’s will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.
And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.”
Every born-again believer in Christ, if his physical body has died, will be raised in an eternal body at the Last Day. And that eternal body will be young: it will be representing eighteen to twenty-one years of age for all eternity. And we who are alive will be changed, and we will have an eternal and young body, also representing eighteen to twenty-one years of age; and that will be for all eternity.
And now, notice how it will be at the Last Day. Christ said it will be at the Last Day. He says:
“…I will raise him up,” (when?) “at the last day.”
Well, which is the Last Day? Because for many years all preachers have been saying that we are living at the Last Days. What are the Last Days?
Look, the preachers of this time in which we are living are not the only ones saying that we are living at the Last Day, the preachers of the time of Jesus and the apostles also said they were living at the Last Day or in the Last Days.
Look at Saint Paul speaking here in Hebrews chapter 1, verse 1 to 3; he says:
“God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets…”
Through whom did God speak? Through the prophets. That is the way God always speaks to human beings.
A prophet is a man sent by God with both consciouses together: his conscious and subconscious are together. And that is why he can hear the Voice of God in another dimension; and he can even be hearing the Voice of God, and people can be present and they won’t hear anything, because he is hearing the Voice of God in another dimension, where the rest of the human beings—who don’t have both consciouses together—cannot go.
Now, he goes on to say:
“…(God) hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son…”
When does he say He has spoken to us by His Son? “In these Last Days.” And two thousand years have passed, and Saint Paul is saying that they were in the Last Days when Christ was preaching on Earth. Could it be that Saint Paul was wrong? Was Saint Paul wrong to say that those were the Last Days, and two thousand years have already passed, and those were not the Last Days? He wasn’t wrong. Notice, he goes on to say:
“…Whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds…”
Now, let’s also see the words of Saint Peter in the Book of Acts chapter 2, and that way we will have a clear picture of what the Last Days are. Chapter 2, verse 14 and on, when they received the Holy Spirit on the day of Pentecost, where one hundred and twenty were in the upper room, many people thought they were drunk; and Peter, standing up, says:
“But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said unto them, Ye men of Judaea, and all ye that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and hearken to my words:
For these are not drunken, as ye suppose, seeing it is but the third hour of the day,” (meaning, eight to nine in the morning).
“But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel…”
Saint Peter went to what? To the Word of prophecy; because the Word of prophecy always speaks the things that God will carry out in each age and in each dispensation. “Surely the Lord God will do nothing without first revealing His secrets to His servants the prophets.”
And notice, God had prophesied through the Prophet Joel about the Last Days, and had said that He would pour out of His Spirit upon all flesh. Let’s see, it says:
“But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel;
And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:
And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy.”
And now, notice how Saint Peter tells us here that God said through the Prophet Joel that in the Last Days He would pour out of His Spirit upon all flesh. And that is what is happening there on the day of Pentecost: God is pouring out of His Spirit upon all flesh, and therefore, the Last Days had begun; and we are still living in the Last Days.
And every preacher can freely say that we are living in the Last Days, and he is not lying; and Saint Paul could say that they were living in the Last Days and he was not lying.
And now, so what are the Last Days? The mystery is that one day before the Lord is like a thousand years to human beings, and a thousand years for human beings is one day before the Lord; Second Peter chapter 3, verse 8, says so; and there we have the secret that in those days they were living in the Last Days.
Notice, it says here… chapter 3, verse 8, of Second Peter, says:
“But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing,” (it’s something that one can’t be ignorant of, because if one is ignorant of it, he will be lost in terms of understanding what the Last Days are.) It says, “that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.”
And in Psalm 90, verse 4, which is a Psalm of the Prophet Moses, he also testifies to us that one day before the Lord is as a thousand years. Saint Peter took that Scripture from there.
And now, how is it that in the days of Jesus and in the days of the apostles they were living in the Last Days? It’s because, since one day before God is a thousand years to human beings, when Jesus Christ was four to seven years old, the fifth millennium began; and the fifth millennium is the first of the Last Days. The Last Days before God are the fifth millennium, sixth millennium, and seventh millennium to human beings.
See how simple it is? See how there is no contradiction? See how the apostles weren’t wrong in thinking or saying that they were living in the Last Days? Of course they were! They were living in the first of the Last Days, and Jesus lived in the first of the Last Days.
From the age of four to seven and on, the first of the Last Days had begun, which is the first of the last millenniums to human beings; just like the last days of the week are: Thursday, which is the fifth day, Friday, which is the sixth day, and Saturday, which is the seventh day.
And now, which is the Last Day before God to human beings? It is the seventh millennium to human beings. The seventh millennium to human beings is the Last Day before God. And regarding the Last Day before God, Christ said: “I will raise him up at the Last Day.” That is the Last Day which Christ spoke about in this prophecy.
That is why the resurrection of the New Testament saints didn’t take place in the fifth millennium; although the resurrection of the Old Testament saints took place when Christ rose, and the Old Testament saints rose with Him, as it tells us in Saint Matthew chapter 27, verse 50 to 54.
And the New Testament saints will rise at the Last Day, meaning, in the seventh millennium, to be in the image and likeness of Jesus Christ, and have an eternal body; and we who are alive will be changed once the dead in Christ have risen; because it will be at the Last Trump, Saint Paul tells us in this Letter to the Corinthians, in First Corinthians… Let’s read it so you can have a clear picture of what we are speaking about, because everything God will do has to be in the Word of prophecy.
It says in First Corinthians chapter 15, verse 49 and on, it says:
“And as we have borne the image of the earthy,” (meaning, of Adam), “we shall also bear the image of the heavenly,” (meaning, the image of Jesus Christ, who is the heavenly One).
“Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.”
In other words, we can’t inherit the Kingdom of God, and be as kings and priests reigning with Christ, in this mortal, corruptible, and temporary body; it has to be in a new body, in an eternal body, which He has promised for all of us.
Because corruption does not inherit incorruption; meaning, this corruptible body cannot live eternally without corruption setting in. From the age of seventy to one hundred, it becomes stricken in age, it weakens, it gets very old, and dies, either due to old age or an illness or an accident or a problem; because this body is mortal, corruptible, and temporary. In other words, we are not going to reign with Christ as kings and priests in this body.
Now, Saint Paul the Apostle goes on to say:
“Behold, I shew you a mystery,” (it is a mystery of the Kingdom of God), “We shall not all sleep,” (meaning, we will not all die), “but we shall all be changed…”
A transformation is coming for the mortal bodies of God’s sons and daughters, for the bodies of the members of the mystical Body of the Lord Jesus Christ. A change is coming for the members of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, and then we will have an eternal body, we will all be changed. When?
“In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye at the last trump…”
Remember that if it’s at the Last Trump, then at the Last Day, when the resurrection will take place, God’s sons and daughters will hear that Last Trump.
“… For the trumpet shall sound…”
The Trumpet has always been the Voice of God, the Voice of God through a prophet here on Earth.
Christ, notice, in Revelation chapter 1, verses 10 to 11, speaks at the Last Day, on the Lord’s Day, and John hears that Voice. John the Apostle says:
“I was in the Spirit on the Lord’s day…”
Which is the Lord’s Day? It is the Last Day, it is the seventh millennium. Just like for the Hebrew people, the Lord’s day of the week was the seventh day of the week, which is a type and figure of the seventh millennium. It says;
“…And heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet,
Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last.”
Notice, John didn’t hear a literal trumpet, but the Voice of a Person who says that He is the Alpha and Omega, and that He is the first and the last. And who is the Alpha and Omega? Who is the first and the last? Well, our beloved Lord Jesus Christ.
On the Lord’s Day, John heard the Voice of Christ with a Message of a Great Voice of Trumpet, meaning, with a dispensational Message. That is the Message of the Gospel of the Kingdom, that is the Voice of Christ speaking to His Church at the Last Day, in the Age of the Cornerstone and Dispensation of the Kingdom, where we are called up here (because these ages already passed). We are called up here, to the Age of the Cornerstone, where Christ speaks to us with that Great Voice of Trumpet the things which must happen.
And now, let’s see what it tells us in Revelation chapter 4, it says:
“After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet,” (here is the Voice again, the Voice of Christ, as of a trumpet), “talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter.”
Here the promise is that if we come up here, He will show us the things that will happen after these things that have happened in the seven stages or ages of the Gentile Church.
It’s not that we have to come up to Heaven to hear in Heaven these things that will happen, rather, we have to come up to a heavenly age: the Age of the Cornerstone.
If we were living in the time of Saint Paul, and he was going to make known to us these things which must be done at this Last Day, we would have to go to—go up to the first age; to the first age, where Saint Paul was the messenger of that first age, and where Christ was speaking to His people, and calling and gathering His elect, His sheep, in that age. And through Saint Paul, Christ would have made known to us all these things which must shortly come to pass.
But the seven stages or ages of the Gentile Church have already passed, and the seven angel-messengers of the seven ages of the Gentile Church have already gone; therefore, He can no longer speak to us through them at the Last Day, in the Age of the Cornerstone.
He spoke to us through them in the fifth millennium and the sixth millennium, but now in the seventh millennium He speaks to us all the things which must shortly be done; but, through whom? Let’s see through whom.
In Revelation chapter 22, verse 6, it says the following:
“And he said unto me, These sayings are faithful and true: and the Lord God of the holy prophets sent his angel,” (whom has He sent? His Angel), “to shew unto his servants the things which must shortly be done.”
Why? To show His servants the things which must shortly be done, He shows us through His Angel-Messenger, here in the Age of the Cornerstone, the things which must shortly be done, which Christ said in Revelation chapter 4, that He would make known to us.
And that is why He told us: “Come up hither,” (to which age? To the Age of the Cornerstone), “and I will show thee things which must be hereafter.”
We always find the Word of God where? In the mouth of a prophet. “I will put My Words in his mouth, and he shall speak to them all that I shall command him.” Deuteronomy chapter 18, verse 15 to 19.
And now, in Revelation chapter 22, verse 16, Christ reconfirms here that He sends His Angel-Messenger. He says:
“I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches.”
Whom does He send? His Angel-Messenger. What for? To testify of these things in the churches. No one will be able to understand the things which must shortly be done, at the Last Day, in the seventh millennium, except if it is through the Angel of the Lord Jesus Christ.
How many of you knew that the Last Days were the fifth, sixth, and seventh millenniums? How many of you knew that the Last Day was the seventh millennium? Well, you didn’t know before, but now we know. Why? Through the Voice of Christ through His Angel-Messenger.
Now, notice THE MYSTERY OF THE WORD OF PROPHECY in the Angel-Messenger of the Lord Jesus Christ, the Word of prophecy making known all the things which must shortly be done.
He comes making known those things which must shortly be done because he is a prophet: he is the Prophet of the Dispensation of the Kingdom, he is the last Prophet that God sends to this Earth. That is the Prophet of the last dispensation: of the Dispensation of the Kingdom and of the Age of the Cornerstone.
That Prophet comes with the Message of the Dispensation of the Kingdom, which is the Message of the Gospel of the Kingdom, which revolves around the Second Coming of Christ as the Lion of the tribe of Judah, as King of kings and Lord of lords in His Claiming Work.
Just as the Message of the Dispensation of Grace, which is the sixth dispensational Message, for the sixth dispensation, revolves around what? Around the First Coming of Christ as the Lamb of God dying on Calvary’s Cross.
And notice how each dispensation has its own Message and has its dispensational messenger.
This Angel-Messenger, as the Prophet of the Dispensation of the Kingdom with the Message of the Gospel of the Kingdom, which revolves around the Second Coming of Christ, is the One who brings the revelation of the mystery of the Second Coming of Christ, to make it known to the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, and thus, give Her the faith to be changed and raptured at the Last Day.
With that Message, the elect are called and gathered at the Last Day, and put in the mystical Body of Christ, in the Age of the Cornerstone.
Christ told us in Saint Matthew chapter 24, verse 31:
“And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.”
Let’s see: “…From one end of heaven to the other,” (Saint Matthew, chapter 24, verse 31).
That Trumpet or Great Sound of a Trumpet is the Message of the Gospel of the Kingdom. It is the Voice of Christ through His Angel-Messenger, through the last Prophet that God will send.
Now, God said: “And whoever will not hear My words which he shall speak in My Name, I will require it of him.” Deuteronomy chapter 18, verse 19.
When God sends a prophet, He puts His Word in the mouth of that prophet; and those who hear that prophet are hearing the Voice of God, the Voice of Christ, through a prophet, through a human being.
And whoever rejects it, is rejecting the Voice of God; and therefore, he is rejecting God; and therefore, he loses the right to be part of the people of God and he loses the right to Eternal Life.
He says: “I will require it of him.” And in the Book of Acts, chapter 3, verse 22 to 23, He says: “I will destroy him from among the people.”
Now, notice the responsibility that every human being has when God sends a prophet to this Earth. He sends him with His Word in the mouth of that prophet. And God told the Prophet Moses, and the Prophet Moses said: “Hear him, unto him you will hearken.”
Now, notice that this is something very serious before God.
The Lord Jesus Christ says: “He that receives a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet’s reward.”18 He receives the benefit for which God has sent that prophet.
And here the promise is that He sends His Angel-Messenger to testify these things which must shortly be done. And those who receive him, receive the knowledge of all these things which must shortly be done; and thus, they obtain the knowledge of the mystery of the Second Coming of Christ; they obtain the knowledge of the mystery of what the Last Days are; they obtain the knowledge of the mystery of what the Last Trumpet or Great Voice of Trumpet is, which is the Message of the Gospel of the Kingdom; they receive the knowledge of who and what the Angels of the Son of man are, which are the Two Olive Trees, who are Moses and Elijah, those are the ministries of Moses and Elijah repeating at the Last Day.
Notice, when God promises that He will send a prophet that He already sent in the past, when He fulfills that promise, notice, it is the ministry of that prophet coming in another prophet.
And now, let’s continue with the reading that we had almost at the start, in Saint Matthew chapter 11, verses 9 to 14; and we are around verse 11, where Jesus said:
“Verily I say unto you, Among them that are born of women there hath not risen a greater than John the Baptist: notwithstanding he that is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he.”
You already saw that he is greater because he belongs to the mystical Body of Christ, he belongs to God’s sons and daughters; and a son is greater than a servant.
And He goes on to say:
“And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force.”
The other older versions say: “And the brave seize It.” He goes on to say:
“For all the prophets and the law prophesied until John.”
Now, some think this means that no more prophets would come after John the Baptist. Wasn’t Jesus a prophet? And He was a greater Prophet than John. And the apostles? Notice, Saint Peter was a prophet too, he prophesied of things that would come in the Last Days and at the Last Day too; and Saint Paul was an apostle and a prophet too, we have the prophecies of Saint Paul.
And notice that there are also prophets in the Dispensation of Grace.
And for the Dispensation of the Kingdom, we also have the promise of the Prophet-Messenger of the Dispensation of the Kingdom, with the Message of the Gospel of the Kingdom.
Now, notice, it’s because the prophets of the Dispensation of Law reached until John the Baptist; John the Baptist was the last of the prophets of the Dispensation of Law; but Christ appeared, the greatest Prophet, the major Prophet, in and for the Dispensation of Grace. And there, when John the Baptist baptized Jesus, the Dispensation of Grace was overlapping with the Dispensation of Law.
Now, Jesus goes on to say, speaking of John the Baptist, He says:
“And if ye will receive it, this is Elias, which was for to come.”
And his name was John. How can this be? God promised He would send Elijah, and now when that promise is fulfilled, the person in whom the promise of the coming of Elijah is fulfilled is named John the Baptist. It is because John the Baptist came with the ministry and Spirit and power of Elijah; the ministry of Elijah was being fulfilled, was being manifested, in John the Baptist.
The Archangel Gabriel also spoke of John the Baptist, He spoke to Zacharias the Priest (who would be the father of John the Baptist), in chapter 1 of Saint Luke, verse 11 and on, it says:
“And there appeared unto him an angel of the Lord standing on the right side of the altar of incense.
And when Zacharias saw him, he was troubled, and fear fell upon him.
But the angel said unto him, Fear not, Zacharias: for thy prayer is heard; and thy wife Elisabeth shall bear thee a son, and thou shalt call his name John.
And thou shalt have joy and gladness; and many shall rejoice at his birth.
For he shall be great in the sight of the Lord, and shall drink neither wine nor strong drink; and he shall be filled with the Holy Ghost, even from his mother’s womb.
And many of the children of Israel shall he turn to the Lord their God.
And he shall go before him in the spirit and power of Elias, to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just; to make ready a people prepared for the Lord.”
Notice, the Archangel Gabriel tells Zacharias the Priest that this child that they will have, that Zacharias and his wife will have, will come in the Spirit and power of Elijah; and that would be the coming of Elijah in his third manifestation.
Whenever God has promised to send a prophet again, it is the ministry of that prophet in another man, whose name is the one his parents give him when they register him, when they present him to God and register him too. And Elijah in his third manifestation would also be registered that way, he would be registered by the name of John, John the Baptist; because the man would not literally be the Prophet Elijah: it would be another man of the present time of Jesus, but with the ministry of the Prophet Elijah. And it has always been that way.
Notice, also on another occasion, the Lord Jesus, referring to John the Baptist, when He came down Mount Transfiguration… They had seen the Prophet Elijah and the Prophet Moses on Mount Transfiguration, in the vision of the Coming of the Kingdom of God, and they saw the Son of man coming in His Kingdom when they saw Christ with His face shining as the sun; because the Coming of the Lord, His Second Coming, is as the Sun of Righteousness rising, which the Prophet Malachi tells us in chapter 4, verse 4, saying:
“But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.”
Why is the Second Coming of Christ as the Sun of Righteousness rising? Because the sun is the king of the stars, and Jesus is the King of kings and Lord of lords, and Jesus Christ comes as the King of kings and Lord of lords in His Second Coming. That is also why the symbol of the Lion of the tribe of Judah is also used, because the lion is the king of the animals, and Jesus Christ is the King of kings and Lord of lords. The lion and the sun represent Christ as King in His Second Coming.
And now, notice that this vision they saw here on Mount Transfiguration is showing what will happen at the Last Day, when the ministries of Moses for the second time and Elijah for the fifth time will be manifested here on Earth, in the Coming of the Kingdom of God, and the Son of man coming in His Kingdom.
Now notice, when they came down Mount Transfiguration in [Matthew] chapter 17, verse 10 and on, it says the following:
“And his disciples asked him,” (Jesus), “saying, Why then say the scribes that Elias must first come?”
Because they were literally expecting the Prophet Elijah. And now, notice, Jesus had already said in chapter 11 that John the Baptist was the Elijah who was to come.
“And Jesus answered and said unto them, Elias truly shall first come, and restore all things,” (in other words, at the end time, Elijah will come and restore all things).
“But I say unto you, That Elias is come already, and they knew him not, but have done unto him whatsoever they listed. Likewise shall also the Son of man suffer of them.
Then the disciples understood that he spake unto them of John the Baptist.”
Now, notice that the coming of Elijah forerunning the First Coming of Christ was the ministry of the Prophet Elijah for the third time, manifested in human flesh in the person of John the Baptist; and the Holy Spirit, which was in John the Baptist, was the One that operated that ministry of Elijah for the third time.
He had operated it for the first time in Elijah the Tishbite. Whom? The Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Christ was the One that prophesied in the prophets of the Old Testament, and testified the sufferings of Christ and the glory that would follow after those sufferings, as Saint Paul the Apostle tells us. And then he tells us… Notice, this is in [First Peter] chapter 1, verses 10 to 12, it says:
“Of which salvation the prophets have enquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace that should come unto you:
Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them,” (the Spirit of Christ, the Holy Spirit), “did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow.
Unto whom it was revealed, that not unto themselves, but unto us they did minister the things, which are now reported unto you by them that have preached the gospel unto you with the Holy Ghost sent down from heaven; which things the angels desire to look into.”
Notice how the Spirit of Christ was in the Old Testament prophets; and It was in John the Baptist, forerunning the First Coming of Christ, and It was also in Elisha, and It was also in the Prophet Elijah.
And now, notice how Christ showed them on these two occasions that John the Baptist was the Elijah who had to come at that time, and his name was John. The Archangel told him to name him John, because the man wasn’t Elijah; the ministry was the ministry of Elijah, but the man, the veil of flesh, was called John the Baptist.
And now, to forerun the Second Coming of Christ we also have the promise that Elijah will come and restore all things, meaning, he will restore the heart of the children to the apostolic fathers, to the faith of the apostles. And thus, the ministry of Elijah in his fourth manifestation would be fulfilled, whose name was William Branham, if you will receive him. He was the Elijah who was to come forerunning or preparing the way, preparing the way for the Second Coming of Christ, and he was the messenger of the seventh age of the Gentile Church, which was fulfilled in North America.
And now, notice how the ministry of Elijah has already been manifested four times in the past. And it is promised to be manifested at the Last Day, in the seventh millennium, as one of the Two Olive Trees.
If you look at Revelation chapter 11, verse 3 and on, you will see that the things that are carried out under the ministry of the Two Olive Trees and the Two Candlesticks, are the things that Elijah and Moses did: making fire come down from heaven (Elijah, the Prophet Elijah did that, and so did the Prophet Moses), and turning the waters into blood (the Prophet Moses did that), and bringing plagues upon the Earth (the Prophet Moses did that, and so did the Prophet Elijah).
And now, notice how they brought the Divine Judgments: Moses upon the Egyptian people; and Elijah also brought Divine Judgments, he also brought the three-and-a-half-year drought, a type and figure of what will happen during the Great Tribulation.
And now, notice that in Revelation chapter 11, it says they will have power over all plagues, and they will be able to command that it doesn’t rain upon the Earth in the time of their ministry; meaning, in the time of the Great Tribulation among the Hebrew people.
Now, these ministries will be manifested at the Last Day too, among the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, in the Coming of Jesus Christ in Holy Spirit manifested in His Angel Messenger, making known to us all these things which must shortly be done; because through His Angel-Messenger, the Prophet of the Dispensation of the Kingdom, Jesus Christ in Holy Spirit will be manifested in the Age of the Cornerstone and in the Dispensation of the Kingdom, just as He was manifested in each of the messengers of these seven Gentile Church ages.
Now the Angel of the Lord Jesus Christ is not the Lord Jesus Christ.
Saint John the Apostle, in chapter 19 of Revelation, verses 9 to 10, wanted to worship the Angel, but he told him not to do it. It says:
“And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God.
And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.”
Notice, if this Angel had been the Lord Jesus Christ, He would have allowed the worship that John was offering him; but since he is the last Prophet, the Prophet of the Dispensation of the Kingdom, with the Message of the Gospel of the Kingdom, through whom Jesus Christ in Holy Spirit will be manifested at the Last Day, making known to us all this things which must shortly be done, putting His Word for the Last Day in the mouth of that Prophet, and thus, revealing to us all these things which must shortly come to pass, notice, this Angel-Messenger doesn’t accept the worship of John or anyone else. He says:
“Worship God.”
In Revelation 22, verses 7 to 9, John falls before the feet of the Angel to worship him again. And let’s see what happens:
“Behold, I come quickly: blessed is he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of this book.
And I John saw these things, and heard them. And when I had heard and seen, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel which shewed me these things.”
Who showed John the Apostle all of this apocalyptic revelation? The Angel of the Lord Jesus Christ. He is the One sent with the revelation of Jesus Christ of all these things which must shortly come to pass.
“Then saith he unto me, See thou do it not: for I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them which keep the sayings of this book: worship God.”
Notice, upon seeing the manifestation of Jesus Christ in Holy Spirit in His Angel-Messenger, John thought he could worship the Angel; but the Angel told him that he couldn’t do it.
Now, we can see that John, through the Angel of Jesus Christ, heard the Voice of Christ, that Voice as of a Trumpet or Great Voice of Trumpet, making known all these things which must shortly come to pass. They were made known to John in a symbolic form, and they are made known to the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ at the Last Day in the meaning or content of these apocalyptic, prophetic symbols contained in the Book of Revelation.
And notice, the Angel of the Lord Jesus Christ is the One sent at the Last Day, in the Age of the Cornerstone and Dispensation of the Kingdom, because that is the Prophet of the Dispensation of the Kingdom, with the Message of the Dispensation of the Kingdom, with the Message of the Great Voice of Trumpet or Last Trumpet, which is the Voice of Christ through His Angel-Messenger speaking to us and making known to us all these things which must shortly come to pass.
And as the last Prophet, he has the Last Trumpet, the last dispensational Trumpet, that is why It is appointed as a Great Voice of Trumpet or Last Trumpet.
It is the Message of the Great Voice of Trumpet of the Gospel of the Kingdom, through which all these things are made known to all of God’s elect, to the members of the mystical Body of Christ in the stage of the Cornerstone Age at this Last Day; and that is the Last Trump.
“(For) we shall all be changed,
In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible…”
How does Saint Paul tell us here in First Corinthians, chapter 15, verses 49 to 55, that the dead in Christ will be raised? They will be raised incorruptible, meaning, in immortal bodies; immortal, incorruptible, and young bodies, which (in those bodies) will be representing eighteen to twenty-one years of age. They will no longer have the mortal, corruptible, and temporary body that they had here on Earth.
And for us who are alive and see the dead in Christ risen at the Last Day, when they rise… because they haven’t risen yet, but they will rise.
And now, what will happen to us who are alive at this time, if the resurrection of the dead in Christ takes place? If the resurrection of the dead in Christ takes place, what will happen to the believers in Christ who have washed away their sins in the Blood of Jesus Christ and have received the Spirit of Christ, and therefore, they have been born again and they are in the mystical Body of Christ at this Last Day? Notice what will happen:
“…And we shall be changed.”
In other words, we will be changed in our atoms, and then we will have the eternal body that He has promised for all His believers, for all those who have washed away their sins in the Blood of Christ, and have received His Holy Spirit, and therefore, have been born again, have been born into the mystical Body of Christ, in the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ. It says:
“So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.”
There will be no more physical death for God’s sons and daughters. There will be no more physical death for God’s elect, there will be no more physical death for the members of the mystical Body of Jesus Christ. We will be in an eternal body, as kings and priests, and we will reign with Christ during the Millennial Kingdom and then for all Eternity. And we will never get sick, we will never grow old, and we will never die.
That is the promise for all those who have washed away their sins in the Blood of Christ and have received His Holy Spirit, and therefore, have been born again; for one must be born again, as Christ said to Nicodemus; because unless a man is born again, he cannot enter into the Kingdom of God, he cannot be a member of the mystical Body of the Lord Jesus Christ.
It is not by saying: “I’m going to join the Church of Jesus Christ.” It is by believing in Christ as our Savior, washing away our sins in the Blood of Jesus Christ, and receiving His Holy Spirit; and that is how we are born into the Kingdom of God. “Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the Kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.”19
So notice the promise there is for God’s elect. That is why Saint Paul says in Ephesians chapter 4, verse 30:
“And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.”
Which is the Seal of God? The Holy Spirit, until which day? The Day of Redemption, until the day in which the dead in Christ will rise in eternal bodies, and we who are alive will be changed; that is the redemption for our bodies.
The redemption of the body is the transformation of our bodies, for us who are alive, and the resurrection in eternal bodies for those who departed in past ages but had believed in Christ and had washed away their sins in the Blood of Christ, and had received the Spirit of Jesus Christ.
In Romans, chapter 8, verse 18 and on, Saint Paul tells us:
“For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.”
When we have the new body, the coming glory will be revealed there in the new body we will have.
“For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.”
Waiting for the manifestation of the children of God, in what? In Eternal bodies. It says:
“For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope,
Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.
For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.
And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit…”
The firstfruits of the Spirit is the baptism of the Holy Spirit. When a person has believed in Christ, washed away his sins in the Blood of Christ, and received the Spirit of Christ, that is how he has received the firstfruits of the Spirit; and he has received a theophanic body of the sixth dimension, a body similar to our body but from the sixth dimension, where the person will live when he dies physically; when his physical body dies, he goes to Paradise to live in that theophanic body.
It is a body similar to ours, but from another dimension, from the sixth dimension; and at the Last Day, they will return with that theophanic body and they will also receive an eternal body, and they will enter into that eternal body, and live in that eternal body. They will have two bodies; because every human being has two bodies: he has the physical body and he has the spiritual body, which is his spirit; it is another body, but from another dimension.
And now, notice, it says here that there will be a deliverance, it says that:
“Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.
For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.
And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.”
In other words, the transformation of our body, for us who are alive, and the resurrection of the dead in Christ in eternal bodies. That is the redemption of the body: it is the new body; it means being changed if we are alive, or being raised in an eternal body; and that is how the redemption of the body takes place.
To redeem means ‘to bring something back to where it was in the first place;’ and before he fell, the human being was living in a body that didn’t have a limited lifespan if he didn’t sin.
And when Jesus Christ came to Earth in a human body, He said: “No man takes My life from Me. I lay it down of Myself to take it again.”20
So, since Jesus came through a body, and in a body that was not formed through the union of a man and a woman, but by Divine Creation: He came in a body that had no time limit, an eternal body. And for that body to be able to die, He had to take our sins (the sins of the human beings) in order to become mortal; for the wages of sin is death.21 And since Jesus had no sin, He couldn’t die. He said: “No man takes My life from Me.” Now, He said, “I lay it down of Myself to take it again.” And in order to lay down His life for us, well, He took our sins and became mortal.
And now, notice, Christ has promised that we will be in His image and likeness, we will be people in eternal bodies, like our Lord Jesus Christ, and with an eternal theophanic spirit too. And this way, we will be kings and priests with Christ in the glorious Millennial Kingdom and for all eternity. That is what Christ has promised for His believers who have received His Holy Spirit, whose names are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life.
Now, notice that everything God will carry out is in the Word of prophecy.
That is why when Christ was here on Earth, notice, He was always quoting the Scriptures and He was also fulfilling the Scriptures.
For example, in Saint Luke chapter 4, verses 12 and on, when He went to the city of Nazareth, where He had been brought up, notice what happened. Chapter 4, verse 14 and on, it says:
“And Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit into Galilee: and there went out a fame of him through all the region round about.
And he taught in their synagogues, being glorified of all.
And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and stood up for to read.
And there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet Esaias. And when he had opened the book, he found the place where it was written,
The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,
To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.
And he closed the book, and he gave it again to the minister, and sat down. And the eyes of all them that were in the synagogue were fastened on him.
And he began to say unto them, This day is this scripture fulfilled in your ears.”
Now, notice how our beloved Lord Jesus Christ takes the Scriptures, and the Scriptures pertaining to that time that had to be fulfilled by the Messiah. For example, He takes this Scripture of Isaiah 61, He reads it; and since He was the fulfillment of the Coming of the Messiah, He tells them: “This day is this scripture filled in your ears.”
How was that Scripture fulfilled? Well, it was fulfilled in the Person of Jesus of Nazareth; because everything God will do, first He has spoken it through His prophets, therefore, it is in the Word of prophecy.
Saint Peter says we must take heed to the Word of prophecy, as a light that shines in a dark place, until the Day Star rises in our hearts.22
Now, we can see that we have to take heed to the Word of prophecy pertaining to the time in which we have been given to live, because that is the Word that must be fulfilled in our time.
Just like in the time of Jesus, the Word of prophecy pertaining to the First Coming of the Messiah was fulfilled in the Person of Jesus. That is why He would take the prophecies that spoke about the First Coming of Christ and read them, and testify to them that they were being fulfilled in Him.
Notice another Scripture that speaks to us about the Word of prophecy being fulfilled in the Person of Jesus: Saint Matthew chapter 4, verse 12, and on, says:
“Now when Jesus had heard that John was cast into prison, he departed into Galilee;
And leaving Nazareth, he came and dwelt in Capernaum, which is upon the sea coast, in the borders of Zabulon and Nephthalim:
That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying,
The land of Zabulon, and the land of Nephthalim, by the way of the sea, beyond Jordan, Galilee of the Gentiles;
The people which sat in darkness saw great light; and to them which sat in the region and shadow of death light is sprung up.
From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.”
Now, notice how with the coming of Jesus to the land of Zabulon and Nephthalim, beyond Jordan, in Galilee of the Gentiles, the promise was fulfilled that the land or the people which sat in darkness saw great light; and to them which sat in the region and shadow of death, light was sprung up.23
Now, notice that with the Presence of Christ among them, the Light was shining when Christ was preaching the Word among them.
Christ said: “I am the Light of the world; and he that follows me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the Light of Life,”24 in other words, the Light of Eternal Life. He is the Light which lighteth every man.25
And now, notice, the Light was in human flesh. The Light in human flesh is enlightening the understanding of human beings, and the soul of human beings, with His preaching. That is how the Light, Christ, enlightens the soul, the heart, and the mind, and the understanding of human beings.
Through the messengers of the seven ages, He also enlightened the soul and the understanding of human beings in these ages; and now, at this Last Day, in the Age of the Cornerstone, Christ in His last manifestation, through His Angel-Messenger, enlightens our soul and our understanding, and He progressively fulfills the prophecies pertaining to the Last Day.
Because it is Christ in Holy Spirit at the Last Day, manifesting Himself through His Angel-Messenger, where? Just as there was a territory for each age… Asia Minor for the first age, and a messenger there: Saint Paul. And for the five next ages that were fulfilled in Europe, notice, there was a territory, different European nations, where those five ages were fulfilled, and there were five messengers in those territories. And then there was a territory for the seventh age or stage, which was North America, and there was a messenger, who was Rev. William Branham, who came in the Spirit and power of Elijah in his fourth manifestation. He is the Elijah who would forerun the Second Coming of Christ, and he already left.
And now, which is the territory for the manifestation of Jesus Christ in Holy Spirit in His Angel-Messenger, in the Prophet of the Dispensation of the Kingdom, to testify these things which must shortly come to pass, and thus, enlighten our understanding and our soul so that we can understand all these mysteries of the prophecies pertaining to the Last Day? The territory, notice, just as He went from Asia Minor to Europe, and then from Europe to North America, He goes from North America to Latin America and the Caribbean.
That is the territory in which Christ would be manifested in His Angel-Messenger, making known to us all these things which must shortly come to pass, and thus, enlightening our soul and our understanding so that we can understand all these mysteries of the Word of prophecy pertaining to the Last Day.
And so that we can understand that the ministries of the Two Olive Trees, which are the ministries of Moses and Elijah, are the manifestation of the Holy Spirit in His Angel-Messenger, operating the ministry of Elijah for the fifth time and the ministry of Moses for the second time; and the ministry of Jesus will also be manifested at the Last Day by the Holy Spirit through His Angel-Messenger. These three great ministries are promised to be manifested at the Last Day.
And now, we have seen the mystery of the ministries of Moses for the second time, and Elijah for the fifth time, and the ministry of Jesus for the Last Day too. We have seen these mysteries that are contained in the Word of prophecy pertaining to the Last Day.
In Revelation chapter 11, verse 3 and on, and Zechariah chapter 4, we have the promise of the Coming of the Two Olive Trees and of the Two Candlesticks, which is the Coming of the Two Anointed Ones that stand before the Presence of God.
And now, we have seen THE MYSTERY OF THE WORD OF PROPHECY, and we have seen that everything is simple.
Everything is simple for all of God’s sons and daughters who will be living at this Last Day, and who will hear the Voice of Christ as a Great Voice of Trumpet through His Angel-Messenger, making known to us all these things which must shortly come to pass.
“Search the Scriptures,” Christ said, “for in them you think you have Eternal Life, and they are they which testify of Me.”26
Which are the Ones that testify of Christ? The Scriptures; they testify of the manifestation of Christ in human flesh two thousand years ago, they testify of the manifestation of the Spirit of Christ in the prophets.
Saint Paul says that God spoke to the fathers by the prophets; and then he says: “…In these Last Days, He has spoken unto us by His Son,” Hebrews chapter 1, verse 1 to 3.
And now, notice, at this Last Day, God in Holy Spirit, in other words, Christ in Holy Spirit, through His Angel-Messenger, would speak to His people, to His children, to His Church, just as He spoke to Her in each age of His Gentile Church through each angel-messenger in the territory where each of those ages was fulfilled.
And now, at the Last Day, He would speak to us through His Angel-Messenger all these things which must shortly come to pass, and thus, He would make known to us the mystery of all these things that are prophesied to happen at the Last Day, in the seventh millennium; and this is for the territory of Latin America and the Caribbean.
Notice that God didn’t forget the Latin American and Caribbean people; rather, He had the greatest blessing for them of all the blessings that God had for His Gentile Church.
And now, we are living in Latin America and the Caribbean, the territory where Jesus Christ in Holy Spirit is manifested through His Angel-Messenger and makes known to us all these things which must shortly come to pass.
Through the Message of the Gospel of the Kingdom, all these things are made known, all these prophetic mysteries that must be fulfilled at this Last Day. We are living in the most glorious time of all times.
We find that just as Christ said: “Search the Scriptures, for in them you think you have Eternal Life, and they are they which testify of Me,” the Angel of the Lord Jesus Christ will be able to say at the Last Day: “Search the Scriptures, for in them you think you have Eternal Life, and they are they which testify of me.”
Didn’t Christ say: “I Jesus have sent mine angel”? Isn’t that the Scripture? Didn’t He say, “And the Lord God of the holy prophets sent his angel”? Isn’t that a Scripture too? Doesn’t Revelation chapter 1, verse 1 and on, say:
“The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass,” (and let’s see what it says next, because it is very important), “and he sent and signified it by his angel,” (by whom? By His Angel), “unto his servant John…”
He made it known to His servant, John the Apostle, in this symbolic form. And at the Last Day, Christ would make it known to His Church through His Angel, not in this symbolic form anymore, but by making known to them the meaning of these apocalyptic symbols; and that is how we would obtain the knowledge of all these things which must shortly come to pass.
That is why blessed are they that hear… let’s see:
“Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.”
They that hear—they that read and they that hear the words of this prophecy are blessed. And who brought the words of this prophecy? The Angel of the Lord Jesus Christ, sent by the Lord Jesus Christ.
He transported John to the Last Day, to the Lord’s Day, where John heard all these things which must shortly come to pass; and he saw them and heard them in this symbolic form, in other words, through these symbols, which would be interpreted by Jesus Christ at the Last Day through His Angel-Messenger, and He would make known to us the meaning of these symbols; and thus, He would make known to us all these things pertaining to this Last Day.
Now, in the Day of the First Coming of Christ, they couldn’t understand—the high priest, the doctors of the Law, the priests of that time, and the seventy Hebrew scholars (doctors of divinity, doctors of theology, who made up the Sanhedrin Council, the council of the Hebrew religion), couldn’t understand the mystery of the First Coming of Christ. That mystery fulfilled where? In a young carpenter from Nazareth named Jesus. They saw Him as a man who was too humble, too simple, to have the fulfillment of the First Coming of Christ.
And despite them seeing that He had signs manifested that they could not deny, and that the people, ordinary people, were following Him, they said: “If we don’t stop this Man, all the people will go with them; and the Romans will come and destroy the city and destroy the temple.”27 And for fear of the consequences, they preferred to reject Christ, to reject their King, the Messiah.
And yet, the destruction of Jerusalem and of the temple came later on: what they feared; and it came upon them as a judgment for rejecting Christ, the King of Israel. Because they didn’t know the time of His Visitation, the Divine Visitation in human flesh, Christ said the destruction of Jerusalem would come. That is in chapter, let’s see… of Saint Luke, chapter 19, verse 41 to 44, when it says:
“And when he was come near, he beheld the city, and wept over it,” (this was during His triumphal entry),
“Saying, If thou hadst known, even thou, at least in this thy day, the things which belong unto thy peace! but now they are hid from thine eyes.
For the days shall come upon thee, that thine enemies shall cast a trench about thee, and compass thee round, and keep thee in on every side,
And shall lay thee even with the ground, and thy children within thee; and they shall not leave in thee one stone upon another; because thou knewest not the time of thy visitation.”
Now, notice that because they didn’t know the time of His Visitation and they rejected Christ: they rejected the One who sent Him, God; and the consequences were the Divine Judgment upon Jerusalem and upon the temple. That is why Jesus had said that the Temple would be destroyed and there would not be left one stone upon another in the temple of Jerusalem.
And now, all of that was fulfilled in the year 70, when Roman general Titus went into Jerusalem, surrounded it, and then destroyed it.
And now, notice, the Hebrew people were blind, and the great religious leaders, including the high priest, were blind to the fulfillment of the prophetic Word of the First Coming of the Messiah.
Such an important event prophesied for that time was not known and was rejected because they were blind; they didn’t understand the fulfillment of the First Coming of Christ, of the Coming of the Angel of the Lord, the Angel of the Covenant, the God of Israel in human flesh, in the Person of Jesus: the young carpenter of Nazareth; a simple Man, but the Word of prophecy of the First Coming of the Messiah as the Lamb of God was fulfilled in Him, and He carried out the Work of Redemption on Calvary’s Cross.
Now, notice how important it is to take heed to the Word of prophecy pertaining to the time in which one is living; because God fulfills what He promised, and people who are not attentive and don’t search the Scriptures to see what God has promised for that time: God fulfills it and they don’t even realize that God has fulfilled it, and they miss the blessing in the fulfillment of what He promised.
Because he that receives a prophet in the Name of a prophet: shall receive a prophet’s reward. And he that rejects him: rejects the One who sent him; and therefore, he receives the Divine Judgments, he receives… instead of receiving the blessing, he receives the curse, the Divine Judgment.
Now notice, back then the Hebrew people and their religious leaders erred, failing to see the First Coming of Christ. Why? Because they didn’t know the Scriptures.
“Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God,”28 Jesus Christ said.
They didn’t know the Scriptures, the Word of prophecy, and they didn’t know God’s power to fulfill that Word of prophecy; and they harmed themselves and harmed the Hebrew people.
And now, we have to take heed to the Word of prophecy, which comes from the seventh dimension as the Divine Thought, and that Divine Thought goes on to the sixth dimension, and then, there, the prophet that God sends in each time catches it, it is caught in the sixth dimension; and he speaks it, and it becomes the Divine Thought expressed in the form of the Message, of the Word of prophecy, for the people of God.
And then that Divine Thought, which is the Word of prophecy, must be fulfilled; because as God thought, that is how He spoke, that is what He revealed to His prophets, and that is how He spoke through His prophets; and that is how He must fulfill what He promised. He must do as He promised.
That is why it is important to know the Word of prophecy for the time in which one is living, because that is what testifies of what God will do at this time. It won’t do anything other than what is promised for that time.
And God didn’t do anything in the time of Jesus other than what was promised for the First Coming of the Messiah. That is what He did through Jesus of Nazareth.
And God won’t do anything at the Last Day other than what is promised for the Last Day.
We cannot err. We have to know the Word of prophecy, the Scriptures, and understand the things that are promised for this end time, to receive the fulfillment of what is promised for this end time, to receive the fulfillment of the Word of prophecy, and say: “This is what I was waiting for!” Because you can’t be waiting for anything other than what is promised in the Word of prophecy.
Many people are waiting for many people, many preachers, to make known to them the things that must happen at this time; but Christ has said: “I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches.” To testify, what? These things which must shortly come to pass.
And this is what God’s elect at the Last Day, in the Age of the Cornerstone, have to be waiting for. That is what all of God’s sons and daughters would be waiting for at the Last Day.
And that is why when they hear the Word of prophecy being fulfilled, and God sending His Angel-Messenger making these things known to us, and opening our understanding, and opening the Scriptures to us, there is nothing else to say but what was said by those who came from Emmaus: “Did not our hearts burn within us, while he opened to us the Scriptures?”29
And that is what happens when He opens the Scriptures to us at this Last Day, and opens our understanding, and our soul, our heart, to be able to hear and understand these things which must shortly come to pass, and then say: “This is what I was waiting for!”
That is what all the members of the mystical Body of Christ would be waiting for at the Last Day; because they can’t be waiting for anything other than what Christ has said that He will do at this Last Day.
Therefore, we would be waiting for nothing other than the Word of prophecy being fulfilled at this Last Day; and that is THE MYSTERY OF THE WORD OF PROPHECY.
And at the Last Day, when the Word of prophecy is fulfilled, and the Word of prophecy is opened to us, we find that the mystery of the Word of prophecy pertaining to this Last Day is opened to the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ. And he that is of God hears God’s Voice;30 and he that has ears to hear, let him hear what the Holy Spirit says to the churches, in other words, to His Church at this Last Day; and also to His Church in past ages through the messengers that He sent.
And now, those who have ears to hear, which are the sheep of Christ, will hear whose Voice? The Voice of the Good Shepherd, of our beloved Lord Jesus Christ, speaking to us through His Angel-Messenger in the Age of the Cornerstone and Dispensation of the Kingdom.
And that is the only occasion in which Jesus Christ sends a dispensational prophet to His Church, that is the only occasion; because the Church of Christ was born on the day of Pentecost, and the apostles weren’t dispensational messengers or prophets, and the seven angel-messengers weren’t dispensational prophets either, they were messengers of ages.
But at the Last Day, in the Age of the Cornerstone and Dispensation of the Kingdom, Jesus Christ sends His Angel-Messenger, who is the Prophet of the Dispensation of the Kingdom.
It is the first time that He sends a dispensational prophet to His Church, so that Christ through that Prophet can make known to us all these things which must shortly come to pass, at this Last Day.
If we add to the calendar the years it is behind, then we are already in the seventh millennium, for the calendar is more than twenty-five years behind.
So, notice… or, if we leave the calendar as it is, the calendar we use nowadays, which indicates that it is the year 1997, then there are only three years left for the year 2000 to start and for the 20th century to end, and for the sixth millennium to end, and thus, for the second Last Day to end.
And the question is: Has God’s calendar fallen behind? The human being’s calendar did fall behind, but has God’s calendar fallen behind? I don’t think so.
And if God’s calendar has not fallen behind, then God must be progressively fulfilling the Word of prophecy pertaining to the Last Day. And when I say “progressively,” that means that each promise made in the Word of prophecy has a year, a month, and a time in which that Word of prophecy must be fulfilled.
And there are many prophecies that must be fulfilled in the seventh millennium, at the Last Day; and God is fulfilling those promises progressively.
And in order to understand these promises, the promise of Jesus must be fulfilled when He said: “I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches.”
And with the fulfillment of that promise and the manifestation of Jesus Christ in Holy Spirit through His Angel-Messenger, making these things known to us, we obtain the knowledge of all these things that in the Word of prophecy are promised to take place at the Last Day; and thus, we obtain the knowledge of all these things, and we are prepared to be changed and raptured at this Last Day, and to go to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb.
That is the way Christ will be working at the Last Day: through His Angel-Messenger, calling and gathering His elect, and putting us in the Age of the Cornerstone, and making known to us all these things which must shortly come to pass.
And that is how we would obtain the knowledge of all these things which must come to pass according to the Word of prophecy; and thus, we would obtain the knowledge of THE MYSTERY OF THE WORD OF PROPHECY pertaining to the Last Day.
We have seen: “THE MYSTERY OF THE WORD OF PROPHECY.”
We can’t wait for anything other than what is said by the Word of prophecy for the Last Day. If a person expects anything else, he will keep waiting, like what happened to the Hebrew people and the high priest: they were left waiting for the coming of Elijah and waiting for the Coming of the Messiah; and that was fulfilled two thousand years ago, and they are still waiting for the coming of Elijah and the Coming of the Messiah.
And when Elijah appears again, he will appear in his fifth manifestation; but the third manifestation was John the Baptist, and he was among them.
And when the manifestation of the Messiah appears among the Hebrew people, it will be in His Second Coming, as the Lion of the tribe of Judah, as King of kings and Lord of lords in His Claiming Work.
Now, we can see “THE MYSTERY OF THE WORD OF PROPHECY,” and especially, the mystery of the Word of prophecy pertaining to the Last Day.
We can’t be ignorant of the Word of prophecy for the Last Day, because then we would overlook, we would miss the fulfillment of the prophecies pertaining to the Last Day, and we would be left waiting for them to be fulfilled; and God would be fulfilling them in our midst in a simple way, without it being noticed by the people who would not take heed to the Word of prophecy relevant to the Last Day.
So, we must take heed to the Word of prophecy pertaining to the Last Day, by searching the Scriptures pertaining to the Last Day, and thus, obtaining the knowledge of what God has promised for the Last Day; because they testify of the Coming of the Angel of Jesus Christ and of the Coming of Jesus Christ in Holy Spirit in His Angel-Messenger, testifying to us all these things which must shortly come to pass, so that we may be called, gathered, in the mystical Body of Christ, in the Age of the Cornerstone, and prepared to be changed and raptured at this Last Day.
