The mystery of the Word that was with God and is God

Good morning, beloved friends and brethren here in Azul, Argentina. It is a great blessing and privilege for me to be with you, to share with you on this occasion some moments of fellowship around the Word of God and His Program relevant to this end time, and under the subject “THE MYSTERY…” “THE MYSTERY OF THE WORD THAT IS WITH GOD AND IS GOD.”

For which we want to read in John, chapter 1, verse 1 and on, where it tells us:

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

The same was in the beginning with God.

All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

In him was life; and the life was the light of men.

And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

There was a man sent from God, whose name was John (that is, John the Baptist) The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe.

He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light.

That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.

He was in the world, and the world was maade by him, and the world knew him not.

He came unto his own, and his own received him not.

But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:

Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.”

May God bless our souls with His Word and allow us to understand It.

The mystery of the Word that was with God and was God and is still God, is what we are going to talk about: “THE MYSTERY OF THE WORD THAT WAS WITH GOD AND IS GOD.”

That is the greatest mystery in the Bible. And when He became flesh two thousand years ago, we knew Him by the name of Jesus. And that was the mystery of the First Coming of Christ: it was the Coming of the Word that was with God and was God and is still God.

And Saint Paul tells us in First Timothy, chapter 3, verse 16: “Without contradiction, great is the mystery of mercy: God has been manifested in the flesh.” God, the Word, was manifested in flesh and we knew Him by the name of Jesus, who carried out the Work of Redemption on Calvary’s Cross.

Now see why the Word was made flesh; see why God came manifested in human flesh, two thousand years ago, in the veil of flesh called Jesus, who was —that veil of flesh— a construction worker, a simple young carpenter from Nazareth; but He was born in Bethlehem of Judea, since Mary was a descendant of king David, and Joseph too¹.

Being descendants of king David, in that census that the king ordered to be carried out, they all had to go to the city from which their ancestry came; therefore, Joseph and Mary had to go to Bethlehem of Judea, because their ancestors (David and also Jesse) were from there.

Now you see how Joseph and Mary are from the house of David, from David’s family, from that royal family, and for that reason they had to go to Bethlehem of Judea. And since everything works for good, because the Messiah had to be born in Bethlehem of Judea², the time came to be born, and He had to be born (where?) in Bethlehem of Judea³.

Now, all these promises that were appointed for the First Coming of the Messiah have been fulfilled in Jesus of Nazareth, and that is why He is identified as the true Messiah who had to come at that time to carry out the Work of Redemption on Calvary’s Cross.

Now, how could it be possible that the man in whom all those prophecies were fulfilled was rejected by the Hebrew people? The prophecy also spoke, that the builders (in other words, the high priest and the religious leaders of the Council of the Hebrew religion, the Sanhedrin Council), being the spiritual builders of the Hebrew people, being the ones in charge of that work…; notice, the builders rejected the Messiah: they rejected the most important stone, the Cornerstone. “The stone which the builders rejected has become the head of the corner.⁴”

Notice, the main Stone, the main person of the Hebrew people, do you know who that is? The Messiah; and they rejected that Stone in His First Coming.

So the builders, according to the prophecy, would be the ones who would cast away, reject that Stone. In other words, those who rejected that Stone cannot escape, the religious leaders, because even the prophecy says that it would be them; in other words, the Bible itself says it would be them.

And when something has to happen, and it is prophesied that they are going to reject something that God will send, well, before the leadership of the people or nation that is going to reject a blessing from God, well, they will be blind leaders, who will not understand and will reject that blessing. In other words, there will not be leaders who will have a clear vision and a clear understanding, but leaders who will be lacking in the divine revelation; they will only have an intellectual knowledge of the Word of God, but they will not have the divine revelation; and therefore they are blind. No matter their intellectual degree, no matter what doctorates in divinity they may have, they are blind.

And you see, in the time of Jesus, the high priest did not believe that Jesus was the Messiah, he rejected Him, he said that He had blasphemed, when the same high priest says to Him: “If you are the Christ, tell us now, and do not disturb our souls.” But why did he want Jesus to say it? To condemn Him. And Jesus says: “I have told you before, and you did not believe. From now on you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of God”; and he tells him all these things. And then the high priest, instead of saying: “You are truly the Son of God,” he says: “You have blasphemed! It is blasphemy what he has said.⁵” He tore his clothes. And he should not have torn His clothes, there he was violating the Word of God⁶; and he also violated the Word of God by rejecting the Messiah.</sup>

So, look, a man so intelligent, so wise, the supreme pontiff: blind to the fulfillment of the First Coming of Christ; the supreme pontiff of the Hebrew religion, which was the one that had the promise of the First Coming of Christ.

For the Last Day, for the Second Coming of Christ, it is the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ that has the promise of the Second Coming of Christ; and the Hebrew people will see the Second Coming of Christ in the midst of the gentile Church. But will the great leaders of Christianity realize in the end time, the fulfillment of that promise, or will they be as the great religious leaders of the Hebrew people were, including the high priest, the high priest of his time, who were blind to the First Coming of Christ?

Now, we are living in the end time, in the time when just as two thousand years ago the Word, which was with God and was God, became flesh and dwelt among the Hebrew people in a veil of flesh called Jesus, a young construction worker, a simple carpenter from Nazareth… Now, look, they did not realize it back then.

We have the promise, for the Last Day, of the Coming of the Word again; in Revelation, chapter 19, there we have the promise of the Coming of the Word for the Last Day. And that is very important, because at the Last Day mankind will be living in a time parallel to what the time of the First Coming of Christ was. In Revelation, chapter 19, verse 11 and on, it says:

“And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.

His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.

And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.”

This is the promise of the Coming of the Lord for this end time, it is the promise of the Coming of the Word that was with God and was God, it is the promise of the Coming of the Angel of the Covenant, the Angel of the Lord, coming in the Last Day.

And now notice what the Reverend William Branham says on page 166 of the book of Quotations, regarding this white horse Rider that will be on Earth for the Last Day. Page 166, verse 1485, it says⁷:

“Now, there’s… I was… getting pretty old, and I thought, ‘Will I… Will there be another revival, I’ll see another time?’ And just remember, from the west will come a white horse rider.”

From where? From the West; and the West is the American continent. And the seventh age of the gentile Church was already fulfilled in the northern part of the West: God was manifested through the forerunner of the Second Coming of Christ in the northern part of the West, in other words, in North America. And now there is only Central America, South America and the Caribbean for the Coming of this Rider on this white horse, in the final manifestation of Jesus Christ in the midst of His Church.

“…from the west will come a white horse rider. We’ll ride this trail again. That’s right. Soon as we get ready. It’s a promise, you see.”

If it is a promise it has to be in the Bible, and that is the promise of Revelation, chapter 19: the white horse Rider that comes, and out of His mouth comes a sharp sword, and He comes in the Last Day. It is the Coming of the Word in Revelation, chapter 19, it is the Coming of the white horse Rider coming from where? From the West.

The West is the American continent; and the part of Central and South America and the Caribbean is the part where the Church ages had not been fulfilled, and it is the part where this Rider will be manifested, where the Word, will be manifested in the Last Day.

And why is it in the West? Because Christ is building a spiritual Temple, which is His Church; and in the literal temple that Solomon built and in the tabernacle that Moses built, the most important part was in the west, and it was the most holy place.

And when Moses dedicated the tabernacle (as also in the time, later on, in which Solomon dedicated the temple to God), the presence of God entered into the temple; and then He went into the most holy place, and rested upon the ark of the covenant, upon the mercy seat; for in the most holy place was the throne of God: the mercy seat, upon the ark of the covenant.

The presence of God was there, and from there God spoke to the prophet Moses all the things that God wanted Moses to speak to the people. That is the most important part of the temple. The Word that was with God and was God was there, He was manifested there in that Pillar of Fire.

And now, in the spiritual Temple of Christ, God has been building that Temple, Christ has been building it; it started in the Middle East, there in the land of Israel, and He has been building His Temple.

We have the Holy Place, from the time of the apostles until now, being built with living stones, with human beings who have believed in Christ as their Savior, have washed away their sins in the Blood of Christ and have received His Holy Spirit; and thus they have been born in the House of God, the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ; for the Church of Jesus Christ is the spiritual Temple that Christ is building. And we have had the seven stages or ages of the gentile Church, which pertain to the Holy Place of that spiritual Temple.

And now Christ is moving to Latin America and the Caribbean to call and gather His elect, and build with them the Most Holy Place of His spiritual Temple; where the Word carries out that Work, and where the white horse Rider of Revelation 19 will be manifested in the Last Day.

We read what the forerunner of the Second Coming of Christ said in relation to that white horse and its Rider; page 256, where it says [The Seals]⁸:

“But when our Lord appears here on earth, He’ll be riding on a snow-white horse. And He’ll be completely, fully, the Emmanuel, the Word of God incarnate in a Man.”

The Word, the Word coming manifested in human flesh in the Last Day, that will be the Coming of the white horse Rider of Revelation 19; and He will bring us the blessings of God.

That is why the Church, being at this time in the Age of the Cornerstone, which is the Golden Age, the Age of the Most Holy Place of the spiritual Temple of Christ, is in the stage of the West; the Church is in the stage that pertains to Latin America and the Caribbean.

Just as the Church in its beginning was in the stage that pertained there to the land of Israel, and then it went to the stage there in Asia Minor, and then it went to five stages in Europe, and then it went to the seventh stage: to North America; and now it goes to the stage of the Age of the Cornerstone: to Latin America and the Caribbean.

It is a program that Christ is carrying out in the construction of His spiritual Temple; Temple that is composed of human beings who are believers in Christ, who have washed their sins in the Blood of Christ and have received His Holy Spirit, and thus have been born in the House of God, in the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, which is His spiritual Temple.

And now, we can see that Christ is creating, He is making a House for God to dwell in all His fullness, a Temple for God; and that same House is the house of David; because God would raise up a house for David, his offspring⁹. And that offspring, notice, is the Mystical Body of Christ, which comes through Jesus Christ, which —according to the flesh— descends from David. And from that line of the Son of David, Jesus Christ, is that the kings and priests that will reign with Christ for the Millennium and for all eternity come.

David’s son, Solomon, according to the flesh, represented Jesus Christ. And now, through Jesus Christ is that the kings and priests who will reign with Christ during the Millennium and for all eternity are coming. And Christ is the heir, as Son of David, to the Throne of David.

The Archangel Gabriel, when he appeared to the virgin Mary, he told her that she would have a son, and he would be called Son of God, and God would give him the Throne of David His father, and He would reign forever¹⁰.

And it is from Jesus Christ that we come through the new birth. In other words that house of David or offspring of David is the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, which comes through our beloved Lord Jesus Christ.

And notice, Revelation, chapter 5, verse 8 and on, says:

“And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints.

And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open (untie) the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;

And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.”

Now see who are those who have been made kings and priests, and will reign upon Earth: they are the ones redeemed by the Blood of Jesus Christ our Savior.

In Revelation, chapter 20, verse 4 to 6, it says:

“And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.

Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.”

Now, we can see what Christ is doing. He is making a House: that is the House of God, the spiritual Temple of God, the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ. And they are kings and priests, they are heirs of God and joint-heirs with our beloved Lord Jesus Christ.

To everything that Christ is heir, the redeemed by the Blood of Jesus Christ are also heirs. And since Christ is the heir to the Throne of David, we are joint-heirs with Him; that is why we will reign with Christ on this planet Earth during the Millennium. And all things of the earthly kingdom that will be living on planet Earth, will be directed, governed, by Christ and His children, by Christ and His Church.

Notice, we are kings and priests. In other words, everything political will be under the direction, the dominion, the government of Christ and His Church; in clearer words, of Christ and us. And since we are made priests, everything that has to do with religious matters will also be under the direction, the government of Christ and His Church, Christ and us.

“And the whole earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea.¹¹”

And that revelation is the revelation that the redeemed by the Blood of Christ will have in the Last Day, of the Second Coming of Christ. All that revelation of the Second Coming of Christ will be made known to all the inhabitants that will be during the Millennial Kingdom, just as all the revelation of the First Coming of Christ has been made known during these two thousand years that have passed from Christ until now.

And now, we can see why He comes in this end time, the Word that was with God and is God and will always be God; we can see why He comes as the white horse Rider of Revelation 19 in this end time: it is because He will carry out the Reclaiming Work; and under that Reclaiming Work, the dead in Christ will be resurrected in eternal bodies and we who are alive will be changed.

And now, the mystery of the Coming of the Word two thousand years ago, notice, was the Coming of the Angel of the Covenant, the Angel of the Lord coming in human flesh in a veil of flesh that was created in Mary’s womb, where God created a cell of life, which multiplied cell upon cell, and the body of Jesus was formed, was created.

A body created by God was required, because everybody that was born on this Earth was already contaminated with sin; and the blood of the little animals that were offered to God, did not remove sin, but covered it; therefore, the fullness of God, the fullness of the Divinity could not be manifested in a human being.

The Angel of the Covenant could not become flesh in all His fullness in a human being, because everyone was contaminated with sin; and although they had offered to God the sacrifices for sin, the blood of those animals had only covered the sin, but the sin was there, but covered before God’s eyes.

If for that time the blood of some little animal could have taken away sin, well, the Angel of the Covenant would have come in all His fullness in a man in whom there was no sin, but who was clean, free, from sin: not having his sins covered, but cleansed from all sin by the blood of some sacrifice.

But since no such person could be found, it was required that a body be created in which the Angel of the Lord, the Angel of the Covenant, could come in all His fullness manifested. And so it was, God created that body in Mary’s womb, was born in Bethlehem of Judea afterwards; and there, in that body, God was manifested in all His fullness.

It was the manifestation of the Divinity in human flesh, the manifestation of the Word made flesh; the manifestation of the Angel of the Covenant, the Angel of the Lord, who was with God and was God, manifested in human flesh; dressed in a body of human flesh, to carry out the Work of Redemption on Calvary’s Cross.

For the time of the Sacrifice of Christ, the sins of those who had departed but had offered sacrifices of animals to God, those sins were removed with the Blood of Christ; and that is why they could resurrect with Christ when He resurrected.

And from the Day of Pentecost and on, God has been creating a new race, which, by believing in Christ as his Savior and washing his sins away in the Blood of Christ and receiving His Holy Spirit, he is justified, as if he had never sinned; and God can manifest Himself in all His fullness; in the time He has it programmed, He can manifest Himself in one of those redeemed by the Blood of Jesus Christ, and can fulfill every promise He has made to His people.

For the end time, we find that the Angel of the Lord, the Angel of the Covenant (which is God Himself with His theophanic body), as He has manifested Himself through the messengers of each age, Saint Paul and other messengers, the Reverend William Branham (who was the seventh messenger)…; the Holy Spirit, the Angel of the Covenant was manifested in them, but not in all His fullness; and we find that He spoke through them to His people in the Dispensation of Grace.

And for the Last Day, for the Age of the Cornerstone, the Angel of the Covenant, the Angel of the Lord (which is Jesus Christ Himself in and with His theophanic body), will be manifested through His Angel Messenger and will make known to us all these things that must happen soon. The Angel of the Covenant will come manifested in human flesh in His Angel Messenger of the Last Day, just as He has been manifested in human flesh in the seven angel messengers of the seven ages of the gentile Church.

He has manifested Himself in the portion relevant to each age, and for the Last Day He will manifest Himself in His Angel Messenger in the portion promised for the Last Day: He will manifest Himself in all His fullness, but that will begin in a progressive way.

And when Jesus Christ has used His Angel Messenger in everything that is programmed for this end time, and all the elect of God have been called and gathered together, then Jesus Christ will adopt His Angel Messenger; and there Jesus Christ in Holy Spirit will be manifested in all His fullness, and He will be speaking through His Angel Messenger in all His fullness, and doing things that before were only seen in Jesus and His prophets, but all that has already happened, it is already history, and all that is type and figure of what God will do, of what the Angel of the Covenant will do in this end time.

He also gave us a sample through each angel messenger; and through the Reverend William Branham He gave us some great samples about what will be the ministry of the Angel of the Covenant, the Word through human flesh, through His Angel Messenger; He gave us the sample through the Reverend William Branham, and thus He has prepared the way for everything that the Angel of the Covenant, the Angel of the Lord, the Word in His final manifestation through His Angel Messenger will do.

Now, the Angel of the Lord Jesus Christ is not the Lord Jesus Christ: he is only a man redeemed by the Blood of Jesus Christ, who will be living in this end time in the midst of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ; and he will be being the instrument of Jesus Christ, for Christ through His Angel to speak to His Church and make known to her all these things which must shortly come to pass, and thus to call and gather together His elect in this end time.

And through His Angel Messenger, Christ will be fulfilling what He has promised. He said¹²: “Come up hither, and I will show you the things that will come to pass after these.” And now, through His Angel Messenger sent, He makes them known.

“And the Lord, the God of the spirits of the prophets, hath sent his angel to show unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass, that is, which must shortly come to pass.¹³”

See how it is through His Angel Messenger that Christ in Holy Spirit manifests Himself through a man; because He has always used a man to manifest Himself through him and to speak to His people. That is the divine order, “for the Lord God will do nothing, except He reveal His secrets to His servants His prophets.¹⁴” He will always have a man through whom He will manifest Himself.

And now, the divine revelation of the Word, the Angel of the Covenant, the Angel of the Lord, Jesus Christ in Holy Spirit through His Angel Messenger, is the mystery that He has, which the Angel of the Lord Jesus Christ brings: He comes with the revelation of Jesus Christ; and Jesus Christ will be revealing Himself through His Angel Messenger in this end time.

Therefore, the revelation of this mystery, the revelation of the mystery of the Word coming in the Last Day on a snow-white horse, is the mystery of the Coming of the Angel of the Covenant manifested in human flesh in His Angel Messenger. But remember that His Angel Messenger is not the Lord Jesus Christ, he is only an instrument of Jesus Christ for this end time.

Now, after we are called and gathered together, and thus the number of God’s elect is completed, the number of the Church of Jesus Christ, then the dead in Christ will be resurrected in eternal bodies and we who are alive will be transformed; and then we will already be in the new body; and there will be a full manifestation of the Holy Spirit, a full manifestation of God in the Angel of the Lord Jesus Christ, and therefore in the Mystical Body of the Lord Jesus Christ, through that ministry that Christ, the Angel of the Covenant, will be operating in the midst of His Church.

And that is the mystery of the Last Day, which would be revealed to the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ and would give her the faith, the revelation, to be changed and taken to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb. This is the mystery that the Church of Jesus Christ obtains, revealed in this end time.

It is those who are going to be transformed and raptured who need to have the revelation of the mystery of the Coming of the Word, the Coming of the white horse Rider of Revelation, chapter 19. And the forerunner of the Second Coming of Christ said that that would be the Coming of the Word, the Word incarnate in a man.

Did you see how simple is THE MYSTERY OF THE WORD THAT WAS WITH GOD AND IS GOD?

It was simple two thousand years ago in His Coming and manifestation in human flesh, in that young construction worker called Jesus. And it will be simple in this end time, in the Coming of the Word, the Angel of the Covenant, the Angel of the Lord, manifesting Himself in His Angel Messenger in the Last Day. That is why John the apostle wanted to worship him, but the Angel told him not to do it, to worship God¹⁵.

The Angel of Jesus Christ is not the Lord Jesus Christ, although through His Angel the Word, the Angel of the Covenant, Jesus Christ in Holy Spirit, will be manifested in His Angel Messenger in human flesh.

Did you see how simple everything is? Now, everything always begins in a simple way, and then it goes through his different stages, until Jesus Christ adopts His Angel Messenger; and therefore the adoption of all the sons and daughters of God will come, in this end time, of those who have departed and of those who are alive.

Now we can see THE MYSTERY OF THE WORD THAT WAS WITH GOD AND IS GOD, which was made flesh two thousand years ago in Jesus of Nazareth; and in this end time He will be made flesh, He will be manifested in human flesh in His Angel Messenger. That is the mystery of the Coming of the Word for the Last Day.

And when we are all with the new body, already transformed, then we will see our beloved Lord Jesus Christ in His glorified body, because we will also have a glorified body.

But first we will see the Coming of the Word manifested in human flesh in His Angel Messenger; we will see the manifestation of Jesus Christ, the Angel of the Covenant through His Angel Messenger, calling and gathering His elect; and thus sounding that Last Trumpet or Great Voice of Trumpet, which is the Voice of Christ speaking to His people, His Church, in this end time; and calling them and gathering them together and preparing them to be transformed and raptured, in other words, caught up to Heaven, to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb.

It has been a great privilege for me to be with you testifying to you of “THE MYSTERY OF THE WORD THAT WAS WITH GOD AND IS GOD.” He was with God and was God, and He is still God, because He is the Angel of the Covenant, the Angel of the Lord.

May the blessings of Jesus Christ, the Angel of the Covenant, the Word, be upon all of you and upon me too; and may the number of God’s elect be completed soon, and may we all be transformed and taken to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb in Heaven. In the Eternal Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen and amen.

Well, we have seen this mystery of the Word that was with God and was God, who created the Heavens and the Earth; it was Jesus Christ in His theophanic body, which then became flesh and dwelt among the Hebrew people.

And for the Last Day, Jesus Christ with His theophanic body will come to His Church manifested in the midst of His Church; and He will be manifested through His Angel Messenger, making known to us all these things that must shortly come to pass; and then He will adopt His Angel Messenger.

And when he is adopted, from there on there will only be about 30 or 40 days perhaps, a very short time; but there, in that short time, God will shake the whole world.

Well, let’s leave that alone there, while the number of God’s elect is completed; and then we will see the adoption that Christ will make of His Angel, and He will also adopt the elect that will be living at this time, as He will also adopt the elect that have departed resurrecting them in eternal bodies.
