Good evening, beloved brethren and friends present. It is a great blessing to be with you this evening, to talk with you and this way, have fellowship with you around the Word of God under the subject: “THE SEVENTH SEAL AND THE MIGHTY MEN OF THE SON OF DAVID.”
For which, I want to read in Revelation, chapter 5, verses 5 to 7, where it says:
“And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof.
And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth.
And he came and took the book out of the right hand of him that sat upon the throne.”
And in Revelation, chapter 22, verse 16, it says:
“I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.”
Our subject is: “THE SEVENTH SEAL AND THE MIGHTY MEN OF THE SON OF DAVID.”
In order to comprehend our subject on this occasion, we need to know who David is. David was a young man, son of Jesse, who came from the seed of Judah, and therefore, he comes from the seed of Adam.
This young man was a shepherd, he had seven brothers who were older than him; and when king Saul was rejected by God…, who represents the kingdoms and kings of this world, because the kingdom of Saul represents the kingdoms of this world and it represents every kingdom that rules over Israel, whether it is of the Hebrew people itself or other people.
And now, notice, the kingdom of this world or the gentile kingdom, cannot rule over the Hebrew people either, neither can a political earthly kingdom, rather, it must be the Kingdom of God in the manifestation of the Kingdom of David and Throne of David being restored on this planet Earth. All of this is typified in David and his kingdom, with David seated on his throne.
Now notice, the young shepherd, David, was the last son, or eighth son of Jesse; and when Saul was rejected, we find – he was rejected as king over Israel, God said to Samuel, the prophet of God: “Go to Bethlehem of Judea, and there, I will tell you who to anoint, for I have provided me a king among the sons of Jesse.”
And now, He had said: “I have provided me a king.” Then, when he went there, He told him that it would be one of Jesse’s sons. And now, Samuel went very worried… Notice here in First Samuel, chapter 17, verse 12, it says:
“Now David was the son of that Ephrathite of Bethlehemjudah, whose name was Jesse; and he had eight sons: and the man went among men for an old man in the days of Saul.
And the three eldest sons of Jesse went and followed Saul to the battle: and the names of his three sons that went to the battle were Eliab the firstborn, and next unto him Abinadab, and the third Shammah.
And David was the youngest: and the three eldest followed Saul.”
Now, notice how David was the last son of Jesse, he was the eighth son. Notice, when Samuel went to anoint a son of Jesse as king over Israel, here in First Samuel, chapter 13, verse 14, it says… this was when God refused, rejected Saul. It says… Chapter 13, verse 11 to 14, says:
“And Samuel said, What hast thou done? (in other words: what have you done, Saul?) And Saul said, Because I saw that the people were scattered from me, and that thou camest not within the days appointed, and that the Philistines gathered themselves together at Michmash;
Therefore said I, The Philistines will come down now upon me to Gilgal, and I have not made supplication unto the Lord: I forced myself therefore, and offered a burnt offering.”
And the one who had to offer a burnt offering was the prophet Samuel, but he took a prophet’s place, he took a place that did not belong to him, and he had problems with God for doing so. It says:
“And Samuel said to Saul, Thou hast done foolishly: thou hast not kept the commandment of the Lord thy God, which he commanded thee: for now would the Lord have established thy kingdom upon Israel for ever.”
We would not say nowadays that the glorious Millennial Kingdom will be the Kingdom of David restored, where the Son of David will sit on the Throne of David and where the Kingdom of God will be manifested on Earth, so that God’s will be done on Earth, as it is in Heaven; and the Kingdom of God will be manifested through the Kingdom of David and the Throne of David, where the Son of David, the Messiah, the Christ promised to the Hebrew people, will be seated.
And the Lord Jesus Christ is the heir to the Throne of David, for the Archangel Gabriel says that God will give unto Him the Throne of His father David, and He will sit on that Throne and reign over the Hebrew people forever. Now, that is in Luke, chapter 1, verse 30 to 36, there, you can find what the Archangel Gabriel said to the virgin Mary about the child who would be born from her womb, who was Jesus.
And now, notice, if Saul had not acted foolishly by offering the sacrifice there, which the prophet Samuel had to do, his kingdom would have been established upon Israel forever; in that case, we would say that at the Last Day, God would send the Messiah, the Christ, who would be the son of who? We would say that the son of Saul would be the Messiah; but now we say that He will be the Son of David. Why? Because Saul acted foolishly and was rejected by God, and it says:
“…but now thy kingdom shall not continue: the Lord hath sought him a man after his own heart…”
Now, Saul was not a man according to God’s own heart, rather, he was a man according to the people’s heart; and the people’s heart was unstable, and that is how Saul was, and he thought according to what the people thought.
But the man God had sought, a new king, would be according to God’s own heart, therefore he would think according to what God thought, and the thoughts of God’s heart would be transmitted to the heart of that king; but notice, at this stage, the one who would be king over Israel according to God’s own heart was still a young boy.
Now, it says:
“…the Lord hath commanded him to be captain over his people, because thou hast not kept that which the Lord commanded thee.
And Samuel arose, and gat him up from Gilgal unto Gibeah of Benjamin. And Saul numbered the people that were present with him, about six hundred men.”
Now, let us see when Samuel anoints David [First Samuel 16:1]:
“And the Lord said unto Samuel, How long wilt thou mourn for Saul, seeing I have rejected him from reigning over Israel?”
Notice, Samuel loved Saul very much, he had been his advisor; because the best advisor to a king is a prophet. That was the case with the pharaoh of Egypt, where Joseph was the advisor and administrator of the pharaoh in Egypt; that was also the case with the prophet Daniel, in the time of Nebuchadnezzar, the king of Babylon; and also in the time of the Medo-Persian empire, where Daniel was an advisor to the king and also an administrator in the king’s business and of the king’s business.
Samuel cried much because God had rejected Saul, and Samuel loved Saul very much. That is what happens to a person who loves God; whether he is a simple person who does not have the ministry of a prophet or another ministry, in other words, whether he is a prophet or a person with another ministry, when he sees that God has rejected someone, he becomes very sad in the depths of his soul, because it is very sad to know that God has rejected someone.
The desire of every messenger of God is that God receives every person, blesses every person and thus, that every person receives the blessing of God and remains before God throughout eternity.
So, Samuel suffered a lot because of what happened to Saul before God; and he had to tell Saul the truth, although it was a very hard truth.
Saul was from the tribe of Benjamin and Samuel was from the tribe of Ephraim (he was from the same tribe as Joshua). And now, God tells him:
“How long wilt thou mourn for Saul, seeing I have rejected him from reigning over Israel? fill thine horn with oil, and go, I will send thee to Jesse the Bethlehemite: for I have provided me a king among his sons.”
This is when God shows Samuel where that king is from: he is from Bethlehem of Judea, and which family he comes from: he is from the family of Jesse, and from the tribe of Judah.
“And Samuel said, How can I go? if Saul hear it, he will kill me.”
Now notice, Samuel loved Saul very much but he knew Saul, and he knew that if Saul knew that Samuel the prophet was going to anoint another man as king over Israel, he would kill him; in other words, he knew that he was the kind of person who was even willing to kill a prophet to remain in his position as king after God had rejected him; instead of Saul being the kind of king who was conscious of his situation, of his reality before God, and say: “Well, God, You have already rejected me…”; and talking to the prophet Samuel and telling him: “Well, God has already rejected me; so… I love the people of God, Israel, very much, I love you very much as well. Let us pray. Pray to God for me, and may God show you who will be the next king, and I will be working hand in hand with that person, to help him with everything he may need. And pray to God, that He would have mercy on me and use me in favor of that man who will be the next king of Israel.” That would have been a more pleasing attitude before God and an honorable attitude for the first king of Israel established among the Hebrew people.
“And Samuel said, How can I go? if Saul hear it, he will kill me. And the Lord said, Take an heifer with thee, and say, I am come to sacrifice to the Lord.
And call Jesse to the sacrifice, and I will shew thee what thou shalt do: and thou shalt anoint unto me him whom I name unto thee.”
Notice, here God did not tell Samuel who was the person who Samuel would anoint as king over Israel; although He told him that it would be one of Jesse’s sons, but He did not tell him if it would be the oldest, the second one, the third one, the fourth one, the fifth one, the sixth one or the seventh one or the eighth one.; He left that a secret, because God reveals His entire Program to His prophets progressively.
And that is what He has done throughout the whole Scripture: He gives His people the revelation of His Program progressively, and through the different prophets, He gives the revelation of His Program progressively.
Notice, in Genesis, chapter 3, verse 15, God said that it would be the seed of the woman, which would be the Messiah, that would bruise the serpent’s head; the serpent: in which the devil was manifested in human flesh; in other words, He would bruise the devil’s head; and he (the serpent) would bruise Him and the seed of the serpent would bruise the seed of the woman (where?) on His heel, in other words, on His ankles; and on Calvary’s Cross, Christ was bruised there, on his ankles, on his feet, and also on his hands.
And now we can see how back in Genesis, the revelation was given of the Coming of the Messiah and His Work of Victory that He would carry out, and how the devil would rise against the Messiah; but it was given back then in the beginning, the necessary light was given there, what was needed back then; but later on, through the different prophets…
For example, through the prophet Isaiah1, He said a virgin would conceive and bear a son, and He would be Emmanuel (which translated is: God with us); that would be the Messiah. And now, God was speaking through a Hebrew prophet to the Hebrew people, because the Messiah would come in the midst of the Hebrew people, He would be born among the Hebrew people and He would be a Hebrew by birth; because every person born in a country is a citizen of that country. And now, the Messiah, who would be born of a virgin, would be citizen of the Hebrew people, a citizen of Israel.
And now, God says through the prophet Micah, in chapter 5, verse 2, that He will be from Bethlehem of Judea; that is where the Messiah will be born, in Bethlehem of Judea, and therefore, He will be from the tribe of Judah.
And God made a promise to David: that there would not fail him a man to sit on the Throne of David2. Therefore, the promise of the one who will sit on the Throne of David will come through someone who will be born of the family of David, he will be born of that stem of David, which is Jesse: He will be the root and the offspring of David3, He will be the Messiah promised to the Hebrew people, who came two thousand years ago, born in Bethlehem of Judea, and whom and to whom the Archangel Gabriel said that God would give the Throne of His father David and He would reign over the Hebrew people, over Israel, forever4.
And now, Christ is the heir to that Throne; and in His Second Coming, He will receive – He will take the Throne of David, He will sit on the Throne of David and He will reign over the Hebrew people for a thousand years and then throughout eternity; and from that Throne, the Messiah will reign and rule, not only over the Hebrew people, but over all nations, because the Kingdom of the Messiah will be worldwide, since the Messiah will be the Son of Man and the Son of David.
Therefore, Christ will sit on the Throne of His father David, as it was promised.
And in Revelation, chapter 3, verse 21, it says: “To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I am set down with my Father in his throne.” The overcomer will be there, too.
Now, the son of Jesse, David, notice, when Samuel came to Bethlehem of Judea to sacrifice unto God – to offer a sacrifice to God, the Messiah would be anointed there, in other words, the Anointed of God as king over the Hebrew people; because what Messiah means is ‘Anointed One.’ The one anointed as king over the Hebrew people would be a son of Jesse, which is a type and figure of the Messiah in His Coming to sit on the Throne of David.
Now, let us continue reading. It says:
“And call Jesse to the sacrifice, and I will shew thee what thou shalt do: and thou shalt anoint unto me him whom I name unto thee.
And Samuel did that which the Lord spake, and came to Bethlehem. And the elders of the town trembled at his coming, and said, Comest thou peaceably?
And he said, Peaceably: I am come to sacrifice unto the Lord: sanctify yourselves, and come with me to the sacrifice. And he sanctified Jesse and his sons, and called them to the sacrifice.
And it came to pass, when they were come, that he looked on Eliab, and said, Surely the Lord’s anointed is before him.”
Why did he say: “The Lord’s Anointed One is before him”? Because the Lord was manifested in Samuel, God was there manifested in Samuel, therefore, this son of Jesse who came before Samuel was coming before the Lord in His manifestation through Samuel.
And now, humanly thinking, when Samuel saw the height of this oldest son of Jesse and saw that his height was similar to Saul’s, who was a big man as well, he said: “I am before the presence of the Lord’s Anointed One,” or:
“…the Lord’s anointed is before him.
But the Lord said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature (so he was big, tall)<em>; because I have refused him (He refused him as he had refused Saul; because for God, height and physical appearance are not what determine who will be the Anointed One of God for an age or for a dispensation, for the ministry relevant to that time): for the Lord seeth not as man seeth (meaning, man sees what?, his exterior appearance)<em>; for man looketh on the outward appearance (in other words, the physical body, which is the exterior appearance of a human being), but the Lord looketh on the heart.
Then Jesse called Abinadab, and made him pass before Samuel. And he said, Neither hath the Lord chosen this.
Then Jesse made Shammah to pass by. And he said, Neither hath the Lord chosen this. (These were the three oldest sons of Jesse, who later became part of Saul’s army, for they followed Saul).
Again, Jesse made seven of his sons to pass before Samuel. And Samuel said unto Jesse, The Lord hath not chosen these.
And Samuel said unto Jesse, Are here all thy children? And he said, There remaineth yet the youngest, and, behold, he keepeth the sheep. And Samuel said unto Jesse, Send and fetch him: for we will not sit down till he come hither.”
The youngest one remained, the last one; and now, by process of elimination, Samuel knew that the one who was left was God’s Anointed One. Why? Because if it had not been the first seven sons of Jesse, if it was not any of them, none of them was the Anointed One of the Lord, then the one left, who was pastoring the sheep, would be the Lord’s Anointed One; and he came as the last one, in the same order as he came by birth, he was the last one to be born in Jesse’s family; and now, he was presented before God as the last one presented before the prophet Samuel.
Remember that these sons of Jesse, since the promise of the Coming of the Son of Man and the Son of David comes according to how it is represented or typified here in Jesse and his sons; and we have —according to the Scriptures — that God has had children during the Dispensation of Grace, Christ Jesus has had children; and all those who have believed in Christ as our Savior and have been born again and have received His Spirit, have thus been born in Bethlehem of Judea; and one of those born in Bethlehem of Judea was the one chosen by God to be the King of Israel.
And now, notice that through this son of Jesse, God, who is the King of the universe and also of the Hebrew people, would be manifested as King in that son of Jesse, who is a man according to God’s own heart.
Now, let us see what happened when David arrived:
“And he sent, and brought him in. Now he was ruddy, and withal of a beautiful countenance, and goodly to look to. And the Lord said, Arise, anoint him: for this is he.”
Now, notice, on this occasion, Samuel did not say: “I am standing before the presence of the Lord’s Anointed One,” nor did he say: “God’s Anointed One is before the presence of the Lord,” rather, it was God who told Samuel: “Arise and anoint him.” Why? “Arise, anoint him: for this is he. This is the one I said is a man after My own heart, this is the man I have provided Myself to be king over Israel,” and he was a young man.
“And the Lord said (to Samuel), Arise, anoint him: for this is he.
Then Samuel took the horn of oil, and anointed him in the midst of his brethren: and the Spirit of the Lord came upon David from that day forward. So Samuel rose up, and went to Ramah.”
Now, here we can see how David was anointed as king over Israel; but being anointed by Samuel as king over Israel did not mean that from that moment on, David would already be wearing the king’s crown, and he would sit on the throne, and rule over the Hebrew people. He was already anointed by God, and now he had to go through the different relevant stages, in order to fight and for God to make him victorious at all times, until he made it to the throne of God established among the Hebrew people, which became the throne of the king of Israel, of king David, where the Throne of God in Heaven and where the Kingdom of God of Heaven would be manifested here on Earth, it would be manifested through that kingdom and that throne of David.
David had a difficult life from the time he was anointed until he sat on the throne of Judah, and then of all Israel; in other words, he ruled, he reigned over Judah and then over all Israel.
We find that David had a very difficult stage, but it was progressive until he sat on the throne; and that progressiveness may confuse many people and they say: “How could this man who was anointed as king, not be on the throne? Has God not been by his side?” Years passed; when he was anointed by Samuel, he was a young man, and when he sat on the throne, he was already 30 years old.
Likewise, when Joseph was made second-in-command in the pharaoh’s empire, how old was he? He was 30 years old.
When Jesus began His ministry, it says in Luke that he was about 30 years old5, it says that Jesus was about 30 years old when His ministry began.
And now, notice how all those things are consistent with each other. But during the ministry of Christ, He was rejected by the Hebrew people, and therefore, the Kingdom of God was not established at that time, and therefore, the Kingdom and Throne of David were not restored at that time.
When Christ had already resurrected, and He was going to ascend to Heaven, in the book of Acts, chapter 1, the disciples of Jesus Christ ask Him: “Wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel?” He says to them: “It is not for you to know the times or the seasons (in other words, the times or the periods of time, or ages or stages), which the Father hath put or has put in His own power.”
Because the Kingdom of Israel would not be restored at that time, rather, it will be restored at the Last Day, which is the Day of the Lord or the seventh millennium, when the Throne of David will be restored, and the Messiah will sit on the Throne of David and reign over the Hebrew people and over all nations.
Now, notice how king David, this young shepherd, became the Anointed One of God as king over Israel, the eighth son of Jesse.
And now, we find that under the Law, there were seven ages and therefore, seven messengers, one for each age, although the prophet of the Dispensation of Law throughout the entire dispensation, the messenger of the Law throughout the Dispensation of Law was the prophet Moses; but there were messengers of different stages in the midst of the Hebrew people under the Law, there were seven stages of the Hebrew Church under the Law, and the seventh messenger was John the Baptist; and when the Hebrew people, and many of the Pharisees, and Sadducees, and scholars of the Law, saw this powerful ministry in John the Baptist, they would ask him: “Are you the Christ, or are you Elijah, or are you the prophet?” And he would say: “I am not.6”
He always mentioned that the Messiah, the Christ, would come after him, the latchet of whose shoes John the Baptist was not worthy to unloose7. John the Baptist is like the seventh son of Jesse there, in type and figure or symbolically.
And now, we find that the eighth messenger was the Lord Jesus Christ, and He was a dispensational messenger for the eighth age, the Age of the Cornerstone; and He came, He appeared before John the Baptist, who baptized Him, and John said: “This is He who I said would come after me.8”
Then, we find that the people rejected Him; and by rejecting Him, they rejected their King, they rejected their King in His First Coming; and their King is the Angel of the Covenant, the Angel of the Lord, which is God Himself in His theophanic body, who was manifested in human flesh in that veil of flesh called Jesus of Nazareth, but He had been born in Bethlehem of Judea.
And now, the Dispensation of Law ends and we go on to the Dispensation of Grace; and the Hebrew people, which is the earthly Israel, now typifies the heavenly Israel, which is the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ.
And now, we have to find Jesse, the sons of Jesse, the eight sons of Jesse, in the types and figures; and Jesse’s eighth son is a type and figure of the Second Coming of Christ, the Coming of the Angel of the Covenant, the Angel of the Lord, manifested at the Last Day as the Word, the Word coming in human flesh at this end time.
Just as Jesse had eight sons, we find that Christ in the heavenly Israel, which is His Church…, we find that by being born in Christ, we are being born in the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, and therefore, we are being born in Bethlehem of Judea.
And from all the children of Jesus Christ, the children of God through the new birth, we find that there are messengers for different ages, which are the children who become the head of each one of the ages, in whom Christ is manifested from age to age speaking to His Church, to His people, and making known to them the things they must know in the age in which He sends each one of those messengers.
And the words spoken in Revelation, chapter 2 and chapter 3: “He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches,” are fulfilled when people hear the things that are said by the messenger of their age, in whom the Holy Spirit is found, that is, Jesus Christ manifested in Holy Spirit, speaking to His people in each of the Church ages during this journey of seven stages or seven ages that pertain to the Holy Place of the spiritual Temple of Christ; and those seven messengers are typified in the seven sons of Jesse who went before Samuel, and none of them was the Anointed One of God to be anointed by the prophet Samuel as king over Israel.
There we have the seven sons of Jesse born in Bethlehem of Judea, born in Christ, who are the seven angel messengers of the seven ages of the gentile Church. And the question is: “Don’t you have another son?” Christ says: “Yes, I have another one, who is shepherding the sheep.”
A shepherd, who is also a prophet; because David was a prophet, and also a mighty man, who even fought wild animals to defend his sheep, and he would obtain the victory because God would give him victory.
And now, Samuel says [16:11]:
“Send and fetch him: for we will not sit down till he come hither.”
No one was going to eat until the youngest son of Jesse arrived; and the Scripture says that Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, all those men of God will sit at the table, but there will not be food for anyone until that youngest son of Christ arrives, that youngest son who comes out of the roots, out of the root, the stem of Jesse, out of the root and offspring of David.
Christ said: “I am the root and the offspring of David.” That last messenger comes out of the root and the offspring of David.
That is the messenger who comes for the Age of the Cornerstone and Dispensation of the Kingdom as the seventh dispensational messenger; and he is the messenger who comes with the Message of the Gospel of the Kingdom preaching the Coming of the Kingdom, so that the Kingdom of God may be established in the midst of the Hebrew people and upon the entire planet Earth, and so that Christ may reign from Jerusalem, from the Throne of David.
Now, notice how the youngest son of the root and the offspring of David would be the one anointed by the prophet Samuel to reign over the Hebrew people, which was David, who is a type and figure of Christ coming at the Last Day manifested in human flesh in the fulfillment of His Second Coming, who came two thousand years ago among the Hebrew people in human flesh, in that veil of flesh called Jesus, and was rejected by the Hebrew people.
In those days, there were people who, just as David had mighty men who fought for him and proclaimed him the king of Israel, and fought until they put him on the throne of Israel, likewise, in His First Coming, Christ had mighty men who fought with Him, they fought beside Him, and in the triumphal entry of Christ into Jerusalem, they proclaimed Him the King of Israel: “Hosanna to the Son of David who comes!” “Blessed is the coming Kingdom of David!”9. And thus, they proclaimed Christ the King of Israel.
But He was rejected by the Hebrew people as a nation, and that blessing for the Hebrew people paused; and there was a time period of approximately two thousand years, from the time of Christ until now, in which Christ turned to the gentiles to call from among the gentiles a people for His Name; in other words, human beings, people from all nations, to call them as individuals to form the heavenly Israel.
And now, for the Last Day, in the Coming of the Angel of the Covenant, the Angel of the Lord, who is Jesus Christ Himself but in His theophanic body taking a veil of flesh of this end time, and the Angel of the Covenant coming, Jesus Christ in Holy Spirit (which is the Word), coming in human flesh manifested: will appear as the Son of Man and the Son of David in His eighth son, in the eighth messenger, which is the messenger of the Age of the Cornerstone, which is the Angel of the Lord Jesus Christ.
And Jesus Christ will be there in Holy Spirit, manifested as the Son of Man and the Son of David, to sit on the Throne of David, because He will be reclaiming the Throne of David, and He will also be reclaiming, firstly, all those He has redeemed with His Precious Blood; and in order to save His Church, Christ saved Israel.
Therefore, Christ redeems Israel in order to redeem His Church, just as Boaz —who is a type and figure of Christ, the Kinsman Redeemer— redeemed Naomi, who was a Hebrew, to marry…, he redeemed Naomi, who was a Hebrew, who is a type of Israel, in order to marry Ruth, a gentile widow and the daughter-in-law of Naomi10. Naomi represents the Hebrew people and Ruth represents the gentile Church of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Now we can see how that symbolism is fulfilled in the Program of Redemption that Christ carries out.
Now, we find that Jesse himself and David himself, do you know something? They come from that line of Boaz and Ruth. Notice where David comes from: he comes from a Hebrew and a gentile, he comes from Boaz and Ruth; and the rest of their descendants come from there, all the way to Jesse.
There is no mention of Jesse’s wife, but notice the connection there is in the ancestry of king David: there is an involvement with gentiles. Notice, that comes from the time of Judah, when Judah had a son from Tamar, who was a gentile; and it continues going all the way down that seed.
And then, we find that later on, another gentile became part of the Hebrew people, who married a Hebrew, a prince of the Hebrew people, and through that woman… Let us see here, because this is very interesting, because we are going to see the involvement there is between the gentiles and the Hebrew people here, especially in the line of king David.
Let us see where that is here. Let us look here in Chronicles, First Chronicles, chapter 2, verses 3 and on, it says:
“The sons of Judah; Er, and Onan, and Shelah: which three were born unto him of the daughter of Shua the Canaanites (now, notice how Judah is connected to the gentiles), And Er, the firstborn of Judah, was evil in the sight of the Lord; and he slew him.
And Tamar his daughter in law bore him Pharez and Zerah. All (Whose? Judah’s) the sons of Judah were five.
The sons of Pharez; Hezron, and Hamul.
And the sons of Zerah; Zimri, and Ethan, and Heman, and Calcol, and Dara: five of them in all.
(And it continues to mention around here, notice)
And the sons of Carmi; Achar, the troubler of Israel, who transgressed in the thing accursed.
And the sons of Ethan; Azariah.
The sons also of Hezron, that were born unto him; Jerahmeel, and Ram, and Chelubai.
And Ram begat Amminadab; and Amminadab begat Nahshon, prince of the children of Judah;
And Nahshon begat Salma, and Salma begat Boaz,
And Boaz begat Obed, and Obed begat Jesse.”
Now, let us look closely at how this all happened here; notice how Jesse came, and David came after Jesse.
In the gospels it also tells us about this line. Let us see what it says… Let us search well, so that we do not have to read it in two places, since there are two places where it speaks about David and Solomon. Let us read here, in Matthew, chapter 1, verse 1 and on, it says:
“The book of the generation of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham.
Abraham begat Isaac; and Isaac begat Jacob; and Jacob begat Judas and his brethren;
And Judas begat Phares and Zara of Thamar; and Phares begat Esrom; and Esrom begat Aram;
And Aram begat Aminadab; and Aminadab begat Naasson; and Naasson begat Salmon;
And Salmon begat Booz of Rachab.”
Boaz is the son of whom? Of Salmon, through Rahab, the one who was a harlot there (where was it, Miguel? in Jericho?), but she was restored by God and she was made a woman… (in Jericho). As a convert to God and to the Word of God, her life changed and she became a very important woman among the Hebrew people; and then, she became the wife of Salmon, a prince, an important man of the Hebrew people, of the descendants of Judah.
And then, Salmon has a son through Rahab, whose name is Boaz; and notice, that son is a Hebrew through his father, Salmon; although we also find gentiles in that line, because Tamar (whom Judah had two sons with), notice, Salmon and Boaz come from that line.
And now, from the line of his mother and his… from his mother, Salmon carried the line of gentiles; and from his… let us see, it would be his great grandmother, around there, who was Tamar, he was also related to the gentiles.
And now, he marries a young gentile woman: Ruth; and from Ruth, comes Obed, and from Obed comes Jesse. In other words, Jesse is the grandson of Rahab and Salmon… or rather, great-grandson; he is the grandson of Boaz.
And now, the eight sons of Jesse come from Jesse, and the youngest is David. David is the great-grandson of a gentile: Ruth; and David is the great-great-grandson of another gentile: Rahab; and if we continue going back in David’s ancestry, he the is great-great-great-great-grandson of Tamar.
Therefore, we can see where king David came from, the man according to God’s heart.
All these gentile women represent the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, which is mostly made up of gentiles, since the time Christ turned from the Hebrew people to the gentiles; and, notice, David and David’s father and David’s grandfather come from these gentile women, and they all also come from women in their line who are gentiles; and from Hebrew men who are Hebrew on their father’s side and gentile on their mother’s side; in other words, they have gentile and Hebrew nationality.
And now, notice where Christ came from: He came related to a family that is related to gentiles and Hebrews; and now, Christ turned from the Hebrews to the gentiles and He is among family.
And now, among the gentiles, Christ has been creating His Church, a new race, although Hebrews have also entered as individuals, because the Church of Jesus Christ is made up of people, human beings from all nations.
And now, although the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ has had many preachers, many pastors in different groups or congregations, evangelists, teachers, apostles, there have also been different men who have had gifts of prophecy and even ministries of prophecy on a smaller scale.
Only the Church of Jesus Christ would have eight major or main messengers: the seven angels of the Church during the seven ages and the Angel of the Lord Jesus Christ, who would be a dispensational prophet with a dispensational Message, with the Message of the Gospel of the Kingdom. And by that messenger coming to the Church of Jesus Christ, a dispensational prophet sent by Christ will be coming to the Mystical Body of Christ for the first time.
It is the first time that Christ sends a dispensational prophet to the Church of Jesus Christ; and that is why He will leave him for last, when Christ will come manifested in that prophet as the root and the offspring of David, as the bright and Morning Star, as the Sun of Righteousness rising and as the Son of Man and the Son of David.
All of that is contained in the manifestation of our beloved Lord Jesus Christ through His Angel Messenger, because He will anoint His Angel Messenger with His Holy Spirit and he will manifest all these attributes of Christ at the Last Day.
And that is why the promise of Christ, when He says: “To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my Throne (Revelation, chapter 3, verse 21), even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in His Throne,” will become a reality at the Last Day, in the manifestation of Christ through His Angel Messenger.
Wherever Christ is, His messenger will also be there; and wherever His messenger is, the elect of God of the Last Day, of the Age of the Cornerstone, will also be there.
We will be in the land of Israel, in Jerusalem, in the capital. It does not matter if in an earthly sense we were born in the countryside, in the Kingdom of God we find that we will be in the capital; in the Kingdom of God, we will be from the capital.
Now, we can see what Christ has for all His elect of the Last Day. The greatest blessing He has for His Church is for stage of the Age of the Cornerstone at the Last Day; where Christ as the Son of Man and the Son of David will be manifested through His Angel Messenger. And that will be the Word incarnate in a man of this end time, who will be the Angel Messenger of Jesus Christ. And by his side will be the mighty men of the Son of Man and the Son of David of the Last Day, who were also represented in the mighty men of king David, who fought for David and for the kingdom of David, so that he would sit on the throne over the Hebrew people, and rule over the Hebrew people.
Also, the mighty men of the Son of God, of Jesus Christ (who is also the Son of David), which were with Him in His First Coming, notice, they also fought for Christ and in favor of Christ, but the Hebrew nation rejected Him as king; but they proclaimed Him, the mighty men of that time proclaimed Him as the Son of David, they proclaimed Him as the King who comes in the Name of the Lord, and they proclaimed the Coming of the Kingdom of David; but the Hebrew people rejected that entire blessing and Christ turned to the gentiles.
And at this end time, we return to the divine cycle of the Age of the Cornerstone, to the divine cycle parallel to the First Coming of Christ, for Christ to manifest Himself again, veiling Himself in human flesh, the Word made flesh in a man, with Christ manifesting those attributes; and thus, at the Last Day, He anoints His eighth angel messenger, who is His eighth messenger son; because out of all the sons and daughters of God that Christ has, who have been begotten by Christ and born again, only eight of them are messengers: the seven angel messengers of the seven ages and the messenger of the Age of the Cornerstone.
Those are the most outstanding of the sons and daughters of God who are born in the Kingdom of God; and therefore, they have been born in Bethlehem, because Bethlehem is Christ, because Bethlehem is the House of God’s Bread, and Christ is the House of God’s Bread; and the Church is the House of God’s Bread, where God’s Bread is, and where God’s Bread is served to all the children of God.
Each one of those angel messengers of the Church of Jesus Christ from age to age will be there, in the House of God’s Bread, in our Bethlehem, in Christ and in His Mystical Body.
And now, at the Last Day, a man comes anointed with the Spirit of God, with the Holy Spirit; and he comes anointed with that anointing of Christ in the manifestation of Christ at the Last Day in Holy Spirit, as the Son of Man and the Son of David, manifesting Himself through His Angel Messenger, and as the root and the offspring of David.
And now, where are the mighty men of the Son of David of the Last Day? Here we are, in Latin America and the Caribbean, to work in the Program of Christ for the restoration of the Kingdom of God on this planet Earth, in the midst of the Hebrew people, so that from among the Hebrew people, the Kingdom of God may be manifested in all the planet Earth, ruling over every nation, people and tongue; and so that His will be done on this Earth, in human beings, so that God’s will be done, as it is in Heaven, also here on Earth.
We are in the most glorious time of all times, we are in the time in which the restoration of Israel will be fulfilled in all its fullness; and Christ, the Son of David, will sit on the Throne of David and reign over the Hebrew people and over all nations; and thus, the Kingdom of Israel and the Throne of David will be restored in the midst of the Hebrew people and the Kingdom of God on this Earth.
Now, we can see that this was also shown on Mount Transfiguration, where Christ showed the Coming of the Son of Man in His Kingdom with His Angels, who were Moses and Elijah there; because those are the ministries of Moses and Elijah, promised as the Angels of the Son of Man who come with the Great Voice of Trumpet calling and gathering together His elect at the Last Day, the elect of God among the gentiles (the heavenly Israel) and the elect of God among the Hebrew people (the earthly Israel).
Now, in this time, it is very important to be mighty men of the Son of David, of Christ, at this end time, when He manifests Himself as the root and the offspring of David, as the bright and Morning Star, as the Sun of Righteousness rising for His Church and for the Hebrew people; because “Unto those who fear my Name will the Sun of Righteousness arise with healing in His wings11”, that is, in the ministries of Moses and Elijah.
In Revelation, Christ was also seen with His face as the sun: in Revelation, chapter 1, verses 12 to 18; and in Revelation, chapter 10, verse 1 and on, we have Him there with His face as it were the sun. And on Mount Transfiguration, we also have Him transfigured with His face shining as the sun12</a>; because the sun represents Christ as the King of kings and Lord of lords, because the sun is the king of the stars.
And now, we can see that all of this is under the Seventh Seal, all of this is hidden in the mystery of the Seventh Seal for this end time; and the mighty men of the Son of David are also under that same Seventh Seal, and they will be working with Christ and for Christ at this end time, for the restoration of all things: for the restoration of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ to eternal life, with an eternal body; and the restoration of all divine power to the Church of Jesus Christ and to every member of the Church of Jesus Christ; and the restoration of each member of the Church of Jesus Christ to eternal life with an eternal body, so that we may all be in the image and likeness of our beloved Lord Jesus Christ.
And thus, all be restored to everything Adam and Eve lost in the fall; and the Hebrew people will also be restored as a nation, with Christ in the midst of the Hebrew people as King of kings and Lord of lords reigning upon the Throne of David; and therefore, the Kingdom of God be restored on this planet Earth, and we will be in the Millennial Kingdom of Christ as Adam and Eve were before the fall.
Now, we can see that the restoration of all things is promised in the book of Acts, chapter 3, verses 18 and on, where it says:
“But those things, which God before had shewed by the mouth of all his prophets, that Christ should suffer, he hath so fulfilled.
Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord.
And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you:
Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began.”
Now notice, the Second Coming of Christ is appointed for the time of the restoration of all things, and we are living at the time in which all things will be restored; and that is why Christ in Holy Spirit comes manifested in His Angel Messenger, manifesting the ministries of Moses, Jesus and Elijah, because the ministry of Elijah is a ministry to restore all things.
Notice, in Matthew, chapter 17, verses 10 and on, it says:
“And his disciples asked him, saying, Why then say the scribes that Elias must first come?
And Jesus answered and said unto them, Elias truly shall first come, and restore all things.
But I say unto you, That Elias is come already, and they knew him not, but have done unto him whatsoever they listed. Likewise shall also the Son of man suffer of them.
Then the disciples understood that he spake unto them of John the Baptist.”
Notice, the ministry of Elijah is a restoring ministry.
He comes in his third manifestation in John the Baptist to turn or restore the faith of the fathers to the children, in other words, the faith of the Hebrew people to the Christian faith.
And in his fourth manifestation, he comes to turn the hearts of the children to the faith of the fathers, the apostles, because he comes to restore the faith of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ to the apostolic faith.
And in his fifth manifestation, he comes to restore the Hebrew people, to restore the Kingdom of God in the midst of the Hebrew people, to restore the Throne of David, to restore the Kingdom of David, to restore the Kingdom of God on this planet Earth; to restore all things; and also to restore the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ to eternal life, in an eternal body, and to restore to the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ everything Adam and Eve lost.
Notice that Elijah’s ministry is a restoring ministry.
Now, also note that it is a ministry that foreruns the things which must come to pass: through John the Baptist and through the prophet Elijah.
Notice, through the prophet Elijah, the one who would come after the prophet Elijah was forerun, which was Elisha; we also find that through John the Baptist, the First Coming of Christ was forerun; then, through Reverend William Branham the Second Coming of Christ was forerun; and then, at the Last Day, we find that for the Hebrew people, Elijah in his fifth manifestation will be forerunning all the things which must come to pass, meaning that he will be introducing all the things which must come to pass at this end time.
That is why Elijah in his fifth manifestation, for the Hebrew people will be the one who will forerun all things and restore all things, and he will be the one who will forerun among the Hebrew people the Coming of the Son of Man as the Son of Man and the Son of David; because it is a restoring ministry and a ministry that introduces the things God will do, that is why he comes prophesying all the things which must shortly come to pass.
And when the Hebrew people see him, they will say: “That is Elijah, whom we are waiting for”; therefore, the Messiah must already be upon Earth somewhere, because the prophet Elijah is already here on Earth.
They will also see Moses and they will see Jesus, the Messiah, and they will see all these things manifested at the Last Day, when God completes the number of the elect among the gentiles, and resurrects the dead in Christ, and changes all those who are alive at this Last Day, who will be in the Age of the Cornerstone and the Dispensation of the Kingdom, being prepared to be changed and raptured.
They will be hearing the Great Voice of Trumpet, which is the Great Voice of Trumpet of the Gospel of the Kingdom, and by the Son of Man coming in His Kingdom with His Angels, they will be seeing the Coming of the Kingdom of God; the elect of God will be seeing all of that at the Last Day.
They will be seeing the manifestation of the Son of Man shining as the lightning in the West, in other words, in the American Continent; they will be seeing Him manifested in the West, in Latin America and the Caribbean; and they will be seeing Jesus Christ in Holy Spirit manifested in His Angel Messenger, operating the ministries of Elijah for the fifth time, Moses for the second time and Jesus for the second time.
And thus, they will be seeing the Coming of the Son of Man with His Angels, His Coming manifested in human flesh at the Last Day; they will be seeing the Coming of the Word incarnate in a man of this end time, who is the Angel of the Lord Jesus Christ; they will be seeing the Seventh Seal being fulfilled here on Earth at the end time; and therefore, they will be seeing the Coming of the Son of Man and the Son of David.
And therefore, the mighty men of the Son of David will be on Earth in the Age of the Cornerstone, they will work with Him in the Program of God for the restoration of all things: the restoration of the Church of Jesus Christ to eternal life with eternal bodies, the restoration of everything Adam and Eve lost being restored to the Church of Jesus Christ, also the restoration of the Hebrew people, the restoration of the Throne of David, the restoration of the Kingdom of David; the restoration of all the things promised for this Last Day, for the seventh millennium.
And where are the mighty men of the Son of David who will be working with Jesus Christ at this end time, the Son of Man and Son of David, manifested at the Last Day? Well, here we are, in Latin America and the Caribbean, working as the mighty men of the Son of Man and the Son of David at this end time.
It has been a great privilege to be with you on this occasion, testifying to you about “THE SEVENTH SEAL AND THE MIGHTY MEN OF THE SON OF DAVID.”
May the blessings of Jesus Christ, the Son of Man and Son of David, our Savior, be upon each of you and upon me as well; and soon, may we all be changed and raptured, and go to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb in Heaven; and may we be there with Christ as kings and priests, in that great feast, and then, in the glorious Millennial Kingdom of Christ. In the Eternal Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen and amen.
May God continue to bless you all, and may you all have a good evening.
